There's a noticeable delay switching between channels/apps. It has frozen up several times in the first week of using it, where it required a restart. The worst thing is that it's pushing adds into the core menu/program selection, forcing the marketing on you. I also felt the home menu was difficult to navigate.

Beautiful sharp clear picture, great sound - I added Samsung sound bar for music videos and movie scores but tv sound even without sound at is excellent. All system controls and navigation very easy to manage. I highly recommend this or any Samsung tv, I have a 2018 65 “ that also has great picture and sound as well on a very old Samsung - 2008 - which still has good picture and sound ( albeit I had to update with streamer plug.) I will always highly recommend Samsung TVs!

After complain 4 times about the previous model 7000 serious failed and compliant very hard with Samsung customer service they only recognized the price the price that I paid and they never replaced for a new one. I had to pay more for a new one almost 400 hundred dollars more than I paid 8 months before. My advice is be careful with the warranty policies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great T.V. only one complaint I love this TV. I use it for watching and gaming and it performs great for both. The built in Samsung TV is great and they keep adding more and more channels all the time. The one problem I consistently have with this television is that when first turning on, sometimes pressing the home button (which is needed to do pretty much everything) does not work. I'll press it over and over and nothing happens and then all the sudden it will decide to work. This doesnt ways happen but it happens enough to irritate me! I have tried changing the batteries, returning TV to factory settings and neither has fixed it. I honestly think it's something with the TV not the remote. Talking about the remote reminds me that I also do not like it. Its support to be an upgrade from the remotes that come with cheaper TVs like my 32 inch but I prefer the original remote where I can just press the button directly to do what I want instead of having to press the Home button and navigate to what I want to do on the screen. I plan to look into if replacing the remote is an option. Overall I would actually give the TV 4.75 stars instead of 4 but it wouldn't let me.

My Samsung TV is a UN46D6420 that is 11+ years old. The model & series were nowhere to be found on the review site. So, the model picked above is not my TV. However, I love my TV. My decade old Samsung looks better than brand new TVs I see at many other friends' homes. People remark all the time how great it looks and I'm like, "Yeah, I know. It's a Samsung."

We actually do not have to connect our surround sound due to the quality of the sound of the tv itself! We have a dedicated room - our media room we call the Boom-Boom Room! This is the room were we listen the tv really loud (base) as if we are in the theater! We are in love with our tv - my husband is super excited to be able to watch all his sports as if he was at that game! Thanks! JC Lindsey

At its price point it has a very shallow depth on the wall which helps keep it from feeling overwhelming even in a small room. Love this tv. I will be Samsung TVs going forward.

Great contrast even in well lit rooms. Sound is ok but not great. Intigrated soundbar control is a nice addition. Would highly recommend for someone looming for a large tv on a budget.

Samsung panels are of high quality...I know I have 4 of them...crisp and clean no matter what your watching...mine does have the led bleed over on blank screens from the backlit led system Samsung uses...that being said when you get a picture its on point not some of the time but all the time...it looks so real and life like its amazing to behold....get you one....no get you 3 or 4...I did..lol

Gaming is also very clear and seems to keep up well for my gaming needs. I’ve also added The Samsung surround system and it completed the theater experience. Problems already first this "new" (which i think is a refurbished) tv was paid for by samsung since our last qled wouldn't stop powering off & on until i unplugged it . right out of the box we had to "snap" the tv frame together (it came apart), the hdmi inputs are all screwed up. our last tv we had no problems but this tv won't recognize our roku, polk surround bar & sling tv. purchased brand new hdmi cords and still having issues. i am unhappy. big time.

Don't expect QLED or OLED picture quality BUT if you are upgrading from an older LED/LCD you will notice a nice jump in picture quality. The jump in picture quality from a 10 year old Samsung was readily apparent. The unit is also very light weight so getting it out of the box is easily accomplished by just 1 person.

I love the color and dynamics of the television. I mounted the unit to the wall and it’s ultra thin frame sits beautifully in my living. We catch all of the big sporting events and we’ll as movie night there. Excellent choice.

The pice tag said out of my budget but one thing I know about Samsung is they are always on the forefront of the cutting edge. I'm sure the price was probably well worth and at a discount even. Speaking about cutting edge the shapes and colors are amazingly so sharp and crystal clear. It's big but after watching it you'll get the big picture

Virtually anyone can use this device with their smart phone and the picture/sound is unparalleled. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Half the sceen went out in 3 weeks super disappointed with this tv. within 3 weeks half the screen went out. its a large tv and took a lot of effort to set up and mount. not to mention all the digital set up and sign in to apps during set up. i contacted best buy and they are sending a replacement. while i appriciate that i am still frustrated with the product breaking so quickly.

This TV has been surprising me everyday when I change the channel when I watch different movie different type of criteria of shows or even just listening to music the features that come with it are awesome don't even need cable no more the smart apps I'm able to watch any show I want any time and listen to any radio TV and play any games I want it's a powerhouse combo set an all-in-one and I mean cut ties with cable and dish out the money for this it's worth it I should have not thought of any other purchase in the near future that or past that I've been more happy with than this my wife surprised me with it and I've been happy with it everyday since I received it.. the smart features on it are incredible very easy to plug and Play features and in fact I can practice up because I'll be watching my favorite show coming up now... Love my Samsung...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As always, ‘WE’ are the product, not the consumer there are so many apps built into this thing and its not possible to remove most of them (guessing they get paid to include). its extremely difficult to set up a simple antenna (for local sports) because they are pushing samsung tv so hard. everything is tracked. multilple privacy acknowledgements required. makes me long for a 32” old school tv. once again, we, the consumers, are truly the product and all our info is being sold. there are all sorts of pop-ups and misdirections to try to get you to pay for sponsored content. you think this tv is cheap? ‘we’, the consumers are cheap. i will not buy another samsung, maybe everything else is the same, i’ll risk it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too smart for it's own good the auto-detect connected devices function seems like a great idea, until it isn't. i love the size and almost all features about my new samsung 85" au8000, but it doesn't recognize by son's nintendo switch when connected. it also has trouble playing the sound on movies and shows on disney+, and netflix through the apple tv that is connected to it. these same shows and movies work fine on the same apple tv and the nintendo switch works fine when both are connected to my older samsung tv without the "smart auto-detect" function when connecting devices via hdmi. major oversight in programming.

It really brings to life some of our favorite shows and films. When we leave it on our chrome cast the art and photography are so stunning we literally can't turn our eyes away. Love watching TV but love it even more on this tv

The clarity and resolution is perfect for my household and we use all the smart apps built in at our disposal. I have always been a fan of the Samsung interface within the TVs so it was a no brainer to go with them when I bought one of my own. Would recommend to all family and friends. Now… back to watching my favorite shows on my TV!

I can sit in my living room watching nature landscapes and feel like I’m actually there - on the beach, in the Andes Mountains, on the waterfalls of Brazil. If we are not watching TV we have Art Cast displaying and everyone compliments us on it. When it comes to movie night, our house is always selected in the neighborhood. This is our 3rd Samsung TV (2 inside & 1 out) and we will not change brands. Will change our other 2 TV's to Samsung in the future. Best picture quality on the market and sound is top level as well. Highly recommend!

The ability to turn it on or off anywhere in the house by accessing the app on my phone. I can adjust it when the kids need to go to bed or brighten up when I forget where the remote is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DISPLAY FAILED AT 18 MONTHS Display failed at 18 months causing more than half the screen to go black. Cost to repair is almost as much as a new TV. When it did work, the display was good - not great. Bought this TV because it's only 1.1" deep and could use the Frame's wall mount for a really nice flush look. It looked great on the wall... but lasting only 18 months is ridiculous. I have Samsung appliances as well that are having issues right after the one year mark. Quality has definitely disappeared and "customer service" is even worse.

Clarity, crispness, color are amazing! Samsung has also designed so that there is an ease of operation. Its tools and apps are user friendly and easy to manage. But the picture! Unbelievable’ even in an 85”! We highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Excellent quality. We have had ours 6 months now. Great picture and no issues. The only thing we don't care for is the navigation software and control. It was easy to figure out how to get around using the remote, but we wish we could personalize it to what apps we pay for and want to watch. Not following them due to companies that pay them to advertise first and then our selection. Software needs a little tweeking to but other than that its great.

It is easy to set up, the picture is wonderful and the price is very good for the great quality of what you were getting. The only reason why I don’t give it five stars is for some reason the version of VUDU that Samsung TVs have access to won’t let you play the free movies they offer on other systems like TiVo. Other than that this is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t recommend My family and I purchased 3 of these tvs for Black Friday 2021. We’ve had issues on all 3. One of them suddenly lost color we had to do a hard reset then it worked but only after I paired the tv to an app on my phone because the remote wouldn’t connect. Another one lost sound and the 3rd one after only having it for not even a year and a half the whole screen went black and flickers. We have other tvs that we’ve had over 10 years insignia brand and they still work great and we’ve never had issues with them.
