I also use Samsung phones exclusively and they all talk to each other very well. looking around and watching some prices when Dell has them on sale they have about the best prices around and of course we can count on their great service

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too Much BLOT The Pros are it is light weight, has a really good picture, inexpensive. and all You need is power and the internet. The Cons are, several, with the OS being Tizen, there are not the apps available, only 1 USB port not 3.0, has way too much blot, that you can not get rid of, the browser does not save passwords, there is no file explorer, (and I find it very difficult to add one.) I also find the legs to be cheap, plus if you pick the TV up they fall out. Even though the add says it has bixby there is no microphone in the remote that comes with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's OK at best Let's start by saying ALL my TV's and monitors are Samsung. And until this purchase I had never second guessed my product. This TV is really buggy, constantly needing to turn off and on, sometimes the remote works, most of the time it partially works (yes they are new batteries). The new version of smart hub, is not user friendly and only opens the app that it wants to open. I will select hulu, and Netflix will open, I will select amazon and Disney will open.

The first in two days when the power source went bad and the TV wouldn't turn on (the power light would flicker so it was trying). I shipped that back and received a replacement in a few days. The second TV supposedly has a bad processer. Within two weeks a horizontal line and vertical line appeared on the screen. Turning the off/on, unplugging and resetting have not made any difference. I'm going to get my money back and try a different brand. Maybe just bad luck?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly disappointed I bought this TV during the pandemic black Friday in 2020. In short, this TV was amazing. I expected to get many years out of it, as myself being a serious advocate for Samsung products. 3 days before Thanksgiving in 2022, the power supply gave me the "red light of death" signaling a faulty power supply. The warranty of course expired December 2021 so there is nothing Samsung will do for me. I've switched back to my Hisense 48 inch that is going strong at 5 years. This isn't a dig, I'm honestly not sure what my next move is going to be. I'm just really disappointed in a brand I've stuck by and advocated for personally for many years now. SAD.

Samsung has been a nightmare to try and get ahold of during this process. They are going to charge us $140 JUST to diagnose what's wrong with it, an extra $60 in labor, and then some mystery amount for parts. I am livid. We paid so much money for this TV, and expect electronics like this to last at LEAST 7 years. Nope. Less than 2 years. I will never ever ever purchase from Samsung again.

Supposedly it has a malfunction that many users have where the screen goes black and wont turn back on. I love Samsung but, the tv was a disappointment.. The worst part is that I will be out a tv for at least a month waiting on a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Budget 4K/HDR Unit This ended up being exactly what I wanted out of my TV - an all around high-quality TV for an affordable price. The picture quality is solid - obviously does not hold a candle to an OLED, but you can't fairly compare this model to something 5-10x the price. I liked the customization and various modes (particularly the dynamic and gaming modes) as I was able to tweak the settings to further improve the picture in my room and for my specific connected devices. The only thing I do not like is the blinding white "No Signal" screen and menus - this can be painfully bright in a bedtime setting or first thing in the morning. A dark theme or at least an option of one would have been nice. The built in speakers were also a bit underwhelming but again at this price point it's not really fair to expect much better. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to audio and added an expensive soundbar to my setup which greatly improved my experience, but more casual users might be just fine with the built in speakers. In summary, this was a great budget all-around choice for both gaming and streaming.

I’ve tried troubleshooting with Samsung and it still does not work. What a waste of money!!!! I put in a repair request and cancelled because it’s $200+ just to get someone to take a looked at the TV. I should not have to repair a practically new TV and especially at almost over half of the purchase cost.

This week of Oct 3. 2023 it has had no sound, network card, does not want to connect to my Samsung soundbar. I have had nothing but trouble and this goes on weekly. Every firmware update creates another set of problems. I hope my new NEO Samsung is better.

It says I have 1.29GB storage used and none available. The only apps on there currently were Pre-installed and can’t be deleted. I’ve cleared t everything I can fine to make more room but, NO LUCK!

With this television, everything feels like it's been a step up in every way, having a major upgrade never felt so much better, especially when it's movie night or when my son is playing video games, everything pops and runs smoothly at 60fps on this TV. I have not regretted this purchase and I hope others will find the same experience with this television as we did.

I got rid of my fire stick because the smart tv feature is great compared to a lot of other tvs. easy to navigate. Also super lightweight and thin. I was able to carry this up my stairs alone and also set up on my own. Definitely recommend!

WIFI seemingly stopped working - plugged in Ethernet and it’s good to go, so i haven’t checked if it ever came back. 3. NetFlix wouldn’t load for a couple weeks and I couldn’t figure out a way to hard-close the app, switching around and turning on and off didn’t work. It fixed itself a week later. Other than that it’s been great

Because of having Samsung’s in the past, I am very familiar with the menu options. The picture and sound are very good. I’m not crazy about the streaming capabilities of this tv. I had a roku before and that was easy to use. Also, I’m not crazy about the default news channel being a fox station, but that’s personal preference. I’m getting used to the streaming app on this tv. I would describe it as “clunky “ compared to a roku. But it works fine, and again, a lot of my opinion is what I’m used to in the past. Overall, I’m happy with this tv.

When I got my new Samsung I immediately noticed how much clearer and almost lifelike the picture is. I watch both cable and streaming programs including movies and sports. And the picture has great detail and clarity. It's great to watch my Boston sports teams on my Samsung. I have the 58" set now but probably in a few years I will buy another Samsung, only it will be a 75" TV! Thank you Samsung!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screen Cracked i bought this tv off a website and it was shipped to my house, once opened with absolutely no physical damage to the box or anything the screen was cracked. contacted samsung customer support and they sent someone out to look at it knowing it was brand new not even set up, they wouldn't help out or refund it. everything in my house is samsung brand (tvs, soundbars, gaming consoles, refrigerators etc.... never again will i buy samsung time to make a brand change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not recommended hello, first of all i love samsung products and i’ve always obtaind thier tvs. however, two years ago i researched and read reviews for this 58" class tu7000 crystal uhd 4k smart tv (2020) and even though there was some complaints about it, i purchased it. when i got it, i immediatley noticed a set up problem so i had to call samsumg support to walk me through the technical fix. then i noticed the user interface time delay. but i said i can work with that as i usualy do. now it’s gone. we are at the no fix no return point. lastly, this crystal model is not recommended.

Only thing I don’t like is the volume. I can never get the volume right with the options available on the menu. It’s either too soft or too loud. Never seems just right. Other than that I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful picture quality this replaced a 2009 plasma which went in another room. the picture on that is far better than this in every way. this image is dim. a little better after disabling all eco settings but the colors remain bad. nothing is bright except people's faces which are washed out. blacks are never really black. did several factoryresets and updated firmware but nothing is any better. the old plasma tv is so much better. every tv in local stores looks fantastic but they don't have this exact size which i need for the space. i have a service request in to samsung but the earliest they can help me will be after the time i can return this

The crystal-clear image it provides is intense with this particular size of TV 58 in. Bluetooth connection that allows for surround speakers it's absolutely incredible. The only thing I'm not happy about is there's no microphone so there's absolutely no voice access whatsoever with this TV. But thanks to modern technology Samsung has provided many updates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Entry Level Option The TV is packed with all the gear required to live in 21st Century. The Samsung app store has all the apps required for streaming content. Also, Airplay and MirrorScreen assists in better use of the TV. Cons- Bad brightness levels. The brightness is really bad and TV struggles in well light surroundings. Also, the shadow details of the picture are bad. No matter what settings we choose, the shadow details looks terrible. Also, the OS is slow and unresponsive sometimes. But for 450$ TV, it packs a lot in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for the price! Ok so to start off I love the TV. It works very well for how I use it. We stream all the time and never have any problems with the feature. I also game on it regularly, PS4 and the picture is amazing especially with the HDR and automatic "game mode". I even occasionally screen mirror or screen view. All in all GREAT TV. I have just 2 problems.. 1. Trying to get Google Assistant hooked up with it is ridiculous. The options in menu do not match what troubleshooting says. Still haven't gotten it to work. 2. It needs a smart remote not the old style for previous models. It would be so much easier to do everything not nearly as many buttons or confusion. Other than that.."Hands down best TV I've had in a Long Time".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous TV I love how it easy, to go from a Smart TV (using smart view), with my phone. To using it for simple like watching a DVD or binge watching Netflix. The vibrant colors, are a true to color format. The size is perfect size. Not too big, not too small. It was a great purchase for me and my family. Would definitely recommend and would definitely purchase again. The only thing that I would change is the available HDMI ports in the back of the TV.

Beyond the features advertised there are even more benefits than I did not expect. I appreciate the multiple capabilities of having free channels, downloadable apps, and internet browser access which allows me to continue work and even attend meetings on my television! The picture quality is amazing plus I've received tons of compliments from friends and family who have also viewed the television. The original television I purchased for this one to replace is no comparison. When I plan to update the master bedroom with another television I would definitely consider purchasing this one again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung U7000 I use my TV for streaming, and the kids use it for playing games. Picture is awesome, loads quickly. Reasonable price. I replaced an older Samsung with this one, I am really enjoying it. Kids now have the older Samsung (which still works great), but I want a larger one, and they like playing games on this one, so they will get this one when I get a new one. I really like the Samsung TV's. Have never had an issue with them. My next TV will also be a Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money only one year parts and labor? ridiculous! i bought this tv on 08/22/2020 and loved it - great picture, great sound, great size for our wall. then on march 3, we were watching the news and the screen flickered, then black screen of death. tried the troubleshooting on this site, no go. called the closest repair shop - it would take 2-3 weeks before it would be repair (if it could even be repaired) and would cost us more than what we paid for it. do not waste your money. i thought samsung was a quality company with quality products. i am severely disappointed and will not buy a samsung product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung 58” Best TV I personally use the tv to play video games and to watch my favorite movies and tv series on the many possible streaming applications available paired alongside my Samsung sound bar the picture clarity and sound are great without using the sound bar everything sounds very crisp and games look realistic using the game mode option available I would definitely recommend this to others that are looking for a reasonable priced and durable tv this in my personal opinion is one of the best options.

Cant boast enough how amazing the picture quality is. Crystal clear sharpness, amazing color, brilliant picture depth, not to mention how simple is to operate. Also plenty of app memory for steaming . Aways enjoyed Samsung products and this one is no different. Have mentioned this buy to friends and encourage them to get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Died after only 16 months i thought that buying this samsung tv would be a wise decision, but at least for this model it was not. with a warranty covering one year, it completely died after only 16 months. i tried fixing it myself by replacing the two main internal boards, but not luck. apparently a screen issue and not worth fixing. performance while it lasted was ok but not great . my main complaint would be an odd flickering of objects colored red. in the future i may give a lesser known brand a chance.

Affordable is nice, but picture is incredible. 4k TV has amazing color and brightness when needed. Game mode is nice for my PS5. I have no desire getting other TVs. This TV is my 5th Samsung TV, gave my others to family who love the TVs. Lightweight and easy to move, doesn't get hot. Connections on side very nice if hanging TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was good while it lasted... i bought it november 2020. now it's jan 2022, this morning the tv screen went black and appears to keep turning on and off. remote controller's not working, nor does the power button. the previous tv we owned from different brand lasted well over 6 or 7 years and it didn't have technical problem when we decided to change tv either. i'm not sure if it's just i'm unlucky with this product or are the smart tvs nowadays all have short lives... but i'm pretty disappointed , as this was our first smart tv and i loved all the functions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor hdmi connectivity this tv was a replacement for my bedroom tv of a different brand but samsung won't accept hdmi input from our security cameras. the help from samsung tried to correct this but finally told me the camera system was at fault. the camera system help desk pointed out that the input worked with the previous tv and i also connected it to an even different brand tv in another bedroom with a longer cable and it worked perfect. i feel like i was brushed off by samsung. we have samsung washer & dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, cell phones & 3 tv's but i feel like samsung really let me down this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV with clear visuals. I have this TV in our living room, so it gets used for movie night, game night... I even use it to play music on Spotify when I have people over. It's great - the visuals and the audio is amazing in my opinion. I love the wide selection of all of the available apps. My only complaint is sometimes the apps don't load, particularly YouTube and HBO. However, my building has spotty wifi, so I don't know if the wifi could be the issue. Overall, I'm glad I have this TV!

I choose Samsung over LG when I bought it because I am a samsung fan in my family but I am so disappointed with the TV. One year and one day my TV turn blak. I called Samsung they did not do nothing for me, offering me to send tech In my house but I need to pay. As I said Samsung is a great product but failed as a customer in TVs

However, after speaking to Samsung and owning a defective tv for 2 years (09/2020 - 09/2022), I have no choice but to write a negative review. I've had problems with the TV since the day it was installed. Within a year, Sept 2021, the tv cycled on & off without stopping. Samsung sent out a technician to repair which worked, but here we are again with the same problem under a year later. Samsung won't warranty/honor their work from the previous year. They also stated they will not assist in any effort to cover repair costs or replace the tv. They won't stand behind their product or honor the prior repair work. Bad form guys.

I've seen a lot of Samsung TVs that the picture looks amazing on but this isn't one of those TVs. The picture is pretty average for UHD 4k. I'd also say that it does this auto dimming when it is showing dark scenes on the TV making it hard to see anything. Maybe it is a setting issue but it's annoying. Overall the TV is fine for the price and size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Picture Easy Setup my iast three tvs have been samsung's so i guess i ts safe to say i am a fan. this one replaced an 8 year old 55" tv whose screen began to develop bright spots. i felt it was time to upgrafe to a new and larger model to take advantage of more built in apps. the unit was very easy to set up and the picture is fantastic. one drawback that i wish samsung would fix petmanently is that the remote is not iluminated. short of that, im very happy with thus purchase and woukd highly recomnend it as the best in its oruce range.

Remote + source interface lacks the tv is fine, picture and sound are up to par. but man, the user unterface on this tv is pretty rough. feedback is incredibly slow, and the remote itself doesnt help much. we have the newer model of this tv as well and it is much improved however. still, there remains my largest complaint with samgsung tvs, and i have this issue with both this model and the newer one i have: the dreaded samsung tv plus app. the samsung tv plus app may be the sole reason i would not commit to another samsung tv going forward. i feel like anytime i hit a button i immediately get launched into the app. or if im in another app for too long itll just automatically boot me out and start playing tv plus. it drives me insane and i wish i could delete it but have had no such luck. awful.

Until one morning I turned it on and it was black, no picture no sound and the screen was fading blue off and on. Done all the trouble shooting I was told to do by Samsung and by the protection plan I purchased nothing worked. So I took the tv down and put it back in the box which I saved for my old tv. Good thing huh! I am considering purchasing another Samsung I hope I have better luck with that one!

One thing I would like is a few more HDMI ports for additional equipment. Currently I have to switch between Blu-ray and Roku with Dex permanently connected. It's my 3rd Samsung Smart TV.

Then the second TV same model but newer one lasted 20 months, horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen. So guess I won't be purchasing another Samsung TV. But they do have nice features.

Works great for streaming on all services I use. It works brilliantly with my 8k hdmi cable I use for my PlayStation. The audio it produces is also extremely high quality. I love this tv and everything about it. Only thing I would change is the amount of money I had at the time of purchase so I could have gone with a little bigger size then what I got. I highly recommend to anybody that hasn’t tried a Samsung tv that you need to immediately!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first smart TV I am late in the game with my first smart tv but i have to say, i have been extremely pleased with my selection, There are a lot of choices and selections out there, which could be daunting and after careful and thorough research, i have decided on this model from Samsung. Did a lot of comparison with all the other popular and innovative brands and it was a toss up between this and LG but Samsung eventually won me over based on several factors - the specifications were great, price was phenomenal and it was highly recommended by a few friends and family members who use a similar model/brand. Bottomline, it has been great and easy to operate, set up and familiaze with it. The photo quality, clarity and resolution are better than most. Also was anble to use the apps easily and intuitively. One issue is that there is no way to search a channel by keying in the channel . you have to scroll up and down to go through the channels whihc is time consuming and frustrating. If you are on channel 2 and want to go to channel 700+, you have to scroll all throughout. If it is connected to a box with a remote, you are easily able to type in the channel you are looking for. had contacted customer service and they did confirm that they are working on it and hopefully new updates will resolve this frustrating issue. But overall, I am totoally pleased and happy with my purchase decision and am looking forwrd to enjoying it for a long time and learning all the bells and whistles

It has a fast crystal processor and has fantastic LED lighting The image is colorful and crisp and it's so vivid and elegant You can see it easily from any angle with no problems whatsoever. It's really easy to assemble right out of the box for whatever style suits your needs. You can wall mount it or stand it up with the included stands. It has 2 HDMI inputs so you can hookup your favorite device. I'm using this TV mainly for gaming and I have not been disappointed. It's got a great feature called game mode that enables once you power on your game console of choice. You get smooth running 120 hertz motion technology while this mode is on so you don't get horrible input lag while your getting your best game on. Another thing I want to mention is how clear and loud the sound is on this TV. I only clicked the volume button a few times and the sound filled the entire room. I can only imagine how cool the sound is paired with a Samsung soundbar which I plan to get as soon as my budget allows it. If you want a great TV that's not going to break the bank definitely pick this up you won't regret it. Samsung makes great quality products and it shows.

Definitely became a centerpiece in the living room and I absolutely loved the clarity. The great thing about Samsung is that no matter how much you pay for the television you're going to get a high quality picture. Over the last couple of years I've completely kissed all of my Bravia products goodbye and welcomed Samsung into my home.

The only issue I have is they seem to fall off my smart things control panel on my phone. The biggest issue I had is it felt a bit slow to navigate between the various options which I assume could be due to the cheaper CPU compared with other models. Still the price is charming..

Even old movies look 100% better on this unit. 58" just happened to be the perfect size for my space. If I had more room I would have gone with the same set in a larger screen size. You won't regret buying one of these television sets. The streaming built in is great too. Don't need hulu or netflix among other streaming services external devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very impressed!!!! I have to admit that I didn't think I would even be using the smart features on this tv because I had a ROKU, but I was wrong. I use these features all the time, as a matter of fact I am using the internet right now to write this review. Not only is this tv packed with features, it allows for the connection of external devices to make using this tv even easier. I connect my MX Keys keyboard, mouse, and many other devices to my tv all the time. I am using my keyboard and mouse now to write this review. This TV is so versatile, with the ability to adjust the picture according to what you are watching, to adjusting the equalizer for the internal speakers to get the best sound possible. Speaking of sound, this TV is also bluetooth capable so you can also connect your favorite headset, earbuds, or headphones and watch what you want to w/out disturbing anyone in the house. This feature is one of the many reasons why I picked this TV. There isn't enought room to write a review that would cover all the features and options this TV has and offers. If you buy this TV you won't be dissappointed, I know I'm not. I also want to say, with having a ROKU device already and already having it up and running I didn't think I would use the streaming features on this TV, but it was super easy to set up and I was wrong, with the push of a button, I am watching the Weather Channel, or switch, and I am watching Netflix. Like I said, I am very very impressed with this TV, and it's features.

We watch satellite tv, we stream from many different outlets, we have attached a VCR/dvd player to go ‘old school’ to view old family tapes. Also watch a movie from time to time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On again Off again shortly after the warranty expired so did the tv. cuts off and on every few seconds. can't stop that from happening without unplugging the tv. useless now. went through all the troubleshooting steps and online tricks. just not working. have to buy a new one not sure it will be a samsung product.

My only complaint is that setting up the off-timer requires multiple steps. I chose to spend my money on a quality TV and not a cheaper TV with a warranty. Thanks Samsung for quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible product picture quality was awful. colors were muddy, nowhere near what was on the screen of my laptop. resolution was terrible. i bought this model after seeing the 70 inch model on display at walmart, which had a fantastic picture, better than anything else on display. when the tv arrived, the picture was a major disappointment. my 6 year old vizio put the samsung to shame. according to walmart, this model was a walmart special deal with samsung. did samsung unload defective product through walmart? the picture quality was nothing like the display model. i promptly returned the product and bought a tv from a different manufacturer; if one product was bad, meaning poor quality control, the replacement could have been just as bad, and i was unwilling to wait another week to find out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV didn't work after one year of use i got my tu700 of 58" end of august 2020; normal use, for gaming, streaming services. after just one year of use, on september 8th 2021 the tv turned off alone and didn't work anymore. support ticket was placed to samsung, they send a technician to my place, perform a 2-3mins diagnose without opening the tv (just staring at it) and he said the tv is not useful anymore, high cost repair (repair cost was higher than a new tv). so disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality bought a 58 inch samsung in november 2020, picture was great, loved the extra channels with samsung plus, but about 3 weeks ago started getting bad pixels on the bottom of the screen, last night it completely went out, in the middle of watching a show, there appeared a brown spot as if the film was melting, at first we thought it was the station, but realized it was the tv when we could not get any other stations, seems this model was not reliable as, this size tv is no longer being made. very disappointed would have thought it would have lasted longer than 20 months, hope the 43 inch samsung i bought for the bedroom a year ago lasts longer than that

Remote control is really awful - it works fine but keys are so close together you can end up doing something entirely different from intended. Use the smartthing app - much easier to navigate. Television is great, apps work great. love the internet app!

But as time went by we discovered the sound is not smart. The sound gets loud during a movie, changing channels, ads, I have to hold the remote to control the sound. It also has a problem with a streaming channel, it comes in but won't show any free movies, I called the channel to ask them why don't I get free movies? They replied that Samsung was to blame, no free movies on that channel. Ok , I do get a local channel, but I still have to hold the remote to control the sound. The conclusion for this review is that I would love to return the Samsung and get a new Samsung to see if this one is just a lemon. The picture is beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slow slow slow I have had multiple issues with this TV. It scrolls very slow. I cannot download apps without having to completely power cycle the TV each time. I have had everything replaced. (ie motherboard, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi sensor, etc) and no resolve. I would NOT recommend buying this. Customer service has not been helpful either. I’m sure I have a lemon but no help from the manufacturer.

I ended up getting a great deal on the crystal uhd 58" at bestbuy. I thought the picture was good on my last TV, but this one blew any expectations i had out of the water. Bright vivid colors, clear picture, and everything on the screen looks almost real. Overall, I am very happy with the t.v. However, there are a few things I didn't particularly care for. For instance, the remote control does not have a speech recognition feature. The only way you can use voice control is under accessibility setting, which is extremely annoying and I do not recommend. It is very limited and is geared for people with disabilities. The other thing that disappointed me was the quality of the built in speakers. I kind of expected a little better from a brand like Samsung. Granted most people have sound bars these days, so all is well as long as you have one hooked up.

Dont have thos problem with other major apps or a "stick" And they no longer support updates, for a $500+ tv, you would think they would give you updates! If things dont improve with samsung i WILL be going to the other huge S brand

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Planned Obsolescence I bought this TV on Nov 27, 2020. Ironically by the time I was sent this survey May 23, 2022 the TV has stopped working. A repair man is being sent out to look at it, quoting a new main board and panel maybe needed to fix. Which may cost more than I originally paid for the TV. I give this TV 1 star for only lasting 18mo just after the warranty. Perfectly planned obsolescence. Other then feeling like I was scammed the TV was great up until then.

Software is updated regularly. Picture quality is great. It works well with the Samsung sound bar. Great TV for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Me and my brothers are disappointed not what we expected when we purchased this samsung tv for parent's gift. the tv screen won't turn on anymore which happened twice. it shouldn't stop working after 2 years, we didn't do anything that might affect the functionality of the tv. we tried all the possible options and solutions samsung agent gave through their customer service assistance. a technician came, looked at it and confirmed the screen was the issue, but nothing got resolved whatsoever. we are quite disappointed, as we are samsung loyal customer here. we will consider other competitors.

However, there is a factory defect with one of the HDMI hookups. It’s does not work. I can’t even get the HDMI input end to go into the plug. So I’m down to only 1. Also, the sound goes in and out and the Wi-Fi goes off constantly. This was either not a good model or I was given the runt of the litter

The sound quality is crystal clear and I don't have to be in the room to hear. Each time a new device is added to our television it automatically tries to pair which makes the process easier for me. The only problem is that it is not the best tv to watching live sports or any fast moving programs. I have adjusted the settings based on Samsung recommendations and it is just ok. I thought any newer tv would have been better than my old one. The picture is just not as crisp as I would like.

LED images are sharp, and the sound system is good where some brands may be a struggle to be heard when the surrounding gets noisy. Excellepnt value for the money.

The one thing that I habe an issue with is that I ran out of storage for my apps pretty fast. A lot of apps are mandatory that I never use and I cannot delete them.

I was able to ditch my Roku and stream directly to the TV with better performance. The colors are not as deep and defined as the Samsung that I have in my media room but that TV cost me 4x as much. The picture on this TV is perfect for my exercise room and delivers a great deal of a bang for the buck. I am very satisfied and thinking about purchasing another for a guest bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for this TV i’m very happy with my 58” tv for rhe price of $429. it does only have 2 ports but i’m not a gamer and its enough for the sound bar and still have one port left for whatever else. the only thing i do notice and other people have mentioned in these reviews is that if you watch some of the older programs, that were not filmed in 4k, there can be a slight bluriness but overall im happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV Failed - Poor Quality tv was used in a media room and light to moderate use. initially tv would struggle to start up and if turned off and on several times it would startup normally but eventually tv failed for good. tv tries to startup but gets stuck at the boot up screen and continually cycles through showing samsung powered by tizen then blank screen and then tizen and the blank screen- you get the picture even if i don't get a picture. first time samsung has let me down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for about a week this is a great tv as long as you either only need it to work properly for about a week, or you never want to connect to a wireless network. i have owned 2 of these now, and both stopped connecting to wireless after about a week. all the other devices in the house would connect, so it wasn't the network. the tv would recognize the network and detect it, but would not connect. luckily, it fails before the return period is up. i returned the first one thinking anyone could have a fluke. with the second one doing the exact same thing, this tv is out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less than a month and drops WiFi EVERY DAY!! we have owned this tv for less than a month and it drops wifi evert day. we have tried all of samsung's troubleshooting diretions and the only one that works is unplugging the tv and plugging it back in. seems like a ridiculous thing to have to do every day for a brand new tv that is supposed to be a smart tv. if youre buying this tv for it's "brain" don't bother!! it's really just a regular tv not a smart one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value bought this 58" on a whim as it was open box and it was incredibly cheap so all it had was the power cord and no remote nor instructions. got it home and set it up very easily and was pleased to find out the remote from my previous samsung tv worked perfectly with it so i did not have to buy a universal remote. the size is perfect for my apartment and i would say the pic quality and sound is above par. all in all a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too many issues i have problems every day with the remote not responding. i always have to go unolug the tv and plug it back in to work. this happens with tv remitted and the cable box remote. also if sometimes it doesnt even recognize the device plugged into the hdmi ports. it is so frustrating. i bought this at christmas, updated the software several times, and still have these issues. i night this samsung because i had such a good experience with my first, but this has been horrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture the image quality is great and i’m definitely enjoying my 58” tv, but i will admit it has some quirks. especially on the home menu the remote seems to lag then speed up when selecting things so i occasionally open the wrong app. it also seems to dislike netflix as the app often gets an error and reloads. by often i mean almost every time i open netflix. i consider these things very minor inconceniences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not working! the tv was great when it worked! we had onky had it right about 90 days (so couldnt take it back) and it started saying my internet connecyion was messed uo but all my other tvs in the hiuse were wirking. come to find iut its an issue with this model tv. said i would just have to wait on the yodate the were working on to fix it then woukd have to get a usb and downlaod it off a computer onto the tv. couldnt give me a time frane of when the uodate would be done or anything. my tv still isnt working and its been out since feb. we just bought it diring black friday at the end of novemeber!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tv. really good product with a clear picture. my only gripe is why 58" and not 60". the extra two inches would have been the sweet spot for my tv stand/tv area in my basement media room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV for the price. you get what you pay for. its a good size tv, it has good image quality. it lags a bit sometimes. im hoping they come up with and update and change the menu display layout. this is not the most friendly operating system menu. some platform apps are not available on the samsung catalog so check first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live TV apparently at 56 years of age i've never really owned a television. at least this one makes me feel that way. we finally traded in our old (but at the time, very expensive) dlp television because we got tired of replacing bulbs and it was omitting a constant buzzing sound. sure it was huge and had great color, but this...we plugged in our new crystal tv and were blown away! the picture was so clear, i felt like we were watching live tv! even old sit-coms came to life and looked theater quality. i wish we had replaced our old one years ago. now we have to rewatch all of our epic movies again on this electronic marvel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clarity great tv. previous tv different manufacturer did not have antennae hookup. we moved that one to the bedroom and installed this samsung tv in our living room. now we can watch over the air tv using our hd antennae. easy to set up. great picture quality. many extra channels through samsung plus to access. love this one so much i plan on buying another one for our rec-room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful picture tvs are hard to distinguish which one is good or not. usually our brains are programmed to think the higher prices tvs must me better. i was skeptical with this one, but knew that if it had any issues like some of the reviews stated, i can always bring it back. plainly put, this tv is beautiful. the colors are crisp, no lag when watching sports. setup was a breeze. no issues with the tv at all. have owned it for a month already and nothing bad to say about the tv. the remote on the other hand… horrible. way too many buttons all smashed together. i don’t use it at all as i have a universal remote with my apple tv. the remote does not take away from the star rating as that rating is for the tv its self. all in all, for $499… i highly recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tv Great TV. But, don't like the remote. All the buttons are in the wrong spot, maybe it takes getting use to.....logistically the main functions don't line up........play, stop, etc. Free channels were a great surprise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor performance. Would not recommend Samsung I bought this tv less than 3 years ago and it already having issues powering on. Sometimes it takes 5-30 minutes to turn on. Once it is on it works fine, but very disappointed that this model isn’t working properly. Contacted Samsung support via email with no response. Called the Samsung support # and the representative walked me through some troubleshooting, but couldn’t fix the issue. Now I’m stuck with a 58” tv that won’t turn on when I want it to. They suggested I call for repair service, which would cost as much as I paid for the tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed. TV broke just out of warranty. If I could give it 0 starts I would. Our TV broke just out of warranty and samsung refused to assist. There are many people on the reviews where we bought the TV saying theirs broke within a year or just over a year from purchase. I assume it might be a faulty batch but Samsung refuses to investigate it further or assist in any way. Only the people who's TVs are under a year broken are getting replacements but the rest of us have just lost all our money. We bought samsung because of its good name and quality. Now I will never purchase samsung again. I am extremely disappointed as we saved up to buy a proper TV. Its really sad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a lemon Purchased new on May 2020. Nov 2020 TV stopped working. Samsung refused to replace TV. The sent someone to fix. May 2022 TV stops working again. Samsung AGAIN refuses a replacement and sends someone to fix. Now June 2023, one year later, TV stopped working..AGAIN. I have purchased several Samsung TV’s in past 30 years and have been VERY pleased. BUT, I’m confident this TV is a lemon and Samsung should stand behind their products. We paid good money only to get a horrible lemon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tv for the price I bought thia product from Costco for 299.97 and it has been great. Picture quality is clear and colors are amazing. The streaming platform is quick and easy to use. I do not like that the TV does not support talk to text feature. Sound is perfect and the weight allows you to use a wide variety of mounts from Amazon ranging around 25 dollars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I ordered the 58" tv on January 15th, on February 23rd while my wife was watching it the screen went black with an occasional flash of blue. Samsung wants to send their warranty company to check it, I think they should replace it. Samsung do the right thing, send me a new tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Not Last Bought this TV less than 2 years ago and it has already gone out. When trying to power on the backlight will come on and then it will shut off. It does this repeatedly while plugged in. The visual was good (while it worked) and Alexa did work well with it most of the times. I've read other reviews and seem that other people have had this issue as well. This is my 2nd Samsung TV and they just do not seem to last long at all. Should've stuck with LG.

My original review states the TV had a dead pixel after 3 months and has gone dead after 1 year. It is not connected to any device and has never had a HDMI cable plugged in. Please have a read at Samsung's reply which is very generic, not relevant, and useless. "Response from SAMSUNG : Hi Edward, I'm sorry to hear that your TU7000 TV screen is showing a blank screen. Please try these troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue: 1) Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After reconnecting the external device, please turn it off and back on. 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective Product tv came outside of selected delivery window. tv appeared normal on the outside but when plugged in, had lines all over the screen and is unusable. very very very difficult return process with samsung/fedex. not buying from samsung directly again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful after 2 yrs Model UN58TU7000FXZA- I've had it for Under two years And I now have black horizontal lines across the entire screen, 1/2 of the color is going out. Samsung did absolutely nothing to help remedy the situation. I am done Samsung tvs forever. Forever! Also the menu is super slow. LG is way better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead pixels after 4 months & broke after 1 year after it was serviced with a full screen replacement after 4 months of ownership (when it was still under warranty) because of dead pixels appearing, this tv completely broke down after 1 year and 1 months. it basically will power on and show a black screen. the samsung menus are still showing with no pictures. it's funny how it stopped working exactly 1 month after the warranty has expired.
