Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tv with some sound issues Great tv with sound glitches on FIOS one tv. Often when I turn on the tv with my FIOS remote, there. Is no sound. The only way to fix it is to either reboot the cable box or detach and reattach the hdmi cable. Very inconvenient.

The picture is good, but occasionally the picture will black out for a second and doesn't matter if I'm streaming or watching live through an antennae.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Invasive Samsung Plus i absolutely hate this tv and am taking it back to best buy. samsung "support" cannot eliminate autorun or remove samsung plus. it takes over the screen! if the homepage is idle for a few moments, all of a sudden ncis is showing, then some kids ghoul game. the autorun is nonsense -- why would i want to watch snippets of shows i didn't call up! further, the type is so small i can't read it and you can't make it bigger! huge promo on home page to smart hub so you can barely see your apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flaky performance This is our tv for our loft. While it is an overall good tv, I am disappointed in how the interfaces work. I attached a SONOS Beam soundbar. There is a conflict with the SONOS and the HDMI eARC input that causes the tv to turn on every day at 5:27 PM I have spent hours researching, talking to SONOS and Samsung. No satisfaction. SONOS diagnostics show it to be the Samsung. The logs show the TV doing it. Also, now it always starts in the free IP movies mode. One evening, the tv turned on and an R movie with very inappropriate content was playing. Nice. I have turned off AutoPlay and other settings. No help. If I could return the tv now, 6 months later, I would.

I have a SONOS Arc on a new LG tv. It works flawlessly. Samsung - how can disabling AnyNet be a reasonable solution when I need it to use the equipment???? Wish I had bought an LG instead of the Samsung.

My only couple complaints...it should maybe have a timer that it will dim the blue light (kinda like he feature on the phone that automatically turns your screen orange and/or black and white) at night, and it would be nice to have some better organization. It's kinda clumsy when you have to back all the way out of apps than scroll back through everything to find what you're looking for! If things like accessing the settings, looking at various apps and what's on, and just in general being able to maybe do like a PIP or something of the home screen so you don't have to stop watching and do a bunch of awkward clicking through everything with the remote (which really does draw attention to the impressive amount of options it has... just not ideal with how you have to fumble through accessing them) than double back to whatever you are watching before wanting to check something in the first place! Other than that... it's pretty awesome if you have to go for a "cheaper" TV!

Color is accurate and I didn't have to adjust the TV very much it was pretty well dialed in out of the box. Size is perfect for our small apartment. Controls are easy to use. We don't use a sound bar or external speaker or sound system and that being said, we find the audio built into the set is very good. It was a good purchase.

As an entry level 4K television, this exceeds expectations, and stands far and above other products in the market, even products advertised as higher tier products. I consistently recommend Samsung television as well as Samsung products in general because of quality, technical features, and cost to experience ratio. Single handedly the best television, period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best tv i have ever bought hands down! Samsung is undoubtedly the best color. Samsung has been voted to have the best sound of mid-range TVs. Samsung because of the number of TVs they make can use better materials, better research and most importantly best testing so they last longer. The Samsung series 6 is good but only lit from the bottom, doesn’t get the cool one remote and made for a price point. The series 7 is not that expensive, has a great computer for upscaling and fantastic color and sound. If your thinking of the series 8 Samsung, unless you need a center stand, you might want to spend a few hundred extra and go to the Q6, which is way better. Find a TV seller and look at them side by side, it’s dramatic.

The picture is beautiful It has a lot of streaming options. It took some effort to set up and the remote is confusing but ultimately our cable remote works great with it. We’re very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Pretty good overall the tv is quite nice. i am really impressed with the clarity and detail of the picture. however, it keeps have issues with connecting to my wifi. i will be watching something and then it ill say that the connection went out. most of the time it comes back on with a second or two. however, i have had to troubleshoot a couple times. i just purchased this tv a week and a half ago so i am not happy about the connecting issues.

I had a seamless transition setting up my Aps as well as installing new streaming Aps. 4K picture quality is spot on. I wish the sound was a bit more consistent between shows and channels. Outside of that I think it is a solid TV.

The AU8000 Crystal UHD Smart TV (2021) was a great choice , I get the most fluid experience when streaming movies and when I am playing high Def video games. The image quality allows me to get the most of the content I am watching and enjoy all the amazing details in each pictures and computer created images. Definitely a great option when you want the best for your house .

I've never had any trouble with either of them. When I plan to purchase my next HDTV will be a Samsung. Our family own other Samsung products also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture picture quality is great, sound is ok but could be better and don't feel like paying so much extra for a sound bar for a 43" tv, the remote is difficult to use at times and after 2 weeks am still trying to get used to it. overall it was well worth the money, fairly easy set-up for adding new streaming channels and good selection of channels.

The colors are excellent and picture quality is spot on. I've had mine for roughly a year and it is excellent. The software is decent, but the picture quality far makes up for it. If QLED or OLED is not in the budget, this is your best bet.

We do not have a sound bar and the sound from the TV speakers is hollow with no depth and is very low. I have it up to 30 just to be able to hear it under normal circumstances. Its connected to a cable box with an HDMI cable and hardwired to the internet and the sound setting is standard. Any background music or sound effects sound like you are listening through a pair of cheap speakers. I tried tweaking it with the EQ settings but it did not help. I guess they want to sell sound bars so they put cheap speakers in the TV. I would not buy again and I am disappointed in Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, beautiful picture, one hiccup. so far so good. replaced a 4 year old lg that had memory issues with apps i didn't even use. the picture is great, the features are easy to use and understand. it found my xfinity cable and ps4 without having to do anything but the simple setup process. very smooth. also nice to have wifi that works. my lg's never did. the legs slide and snap right in, which was the best leg experience i've ever had in a flatscreen. the only issue i had was on day 6 (its been 13) when i turned it on the screen was going black every few seconds then back on and repeat. the home button screen with all the apps and settings was still visible even while the picture was black. power off and on didn't fix it, but pulling the power cable out the back did, and so far it hasn't happened again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Streaming Interface is weird and unpredictable i cut the cable when i bought this tv. no direct cable connection for me to compare, but i have good idea of what it would have been and i also have an lg tv from when i subscribed to cable. all that said, the samsung interface with streaming is unpredictable, at best. i suspect it's trying to inject unwanted channels at me that samsung gets a fee for supporting. even the main categories: library, home, and live get jumbled with no relation to the programs or channels i frequently watch. the algorithm doesn't learn from my viewing habits and prioritize familiar channels but keeps things in the mix i never have watched. mechanically, or should i say electronically, the tv is great. great picture and decent sound from its own speakers. very thin depth makes it great to mount on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, sound not impressed tv replaced a sony 52” that picture died on. better picture and clarity then the sony and really easy to setup and connect to wifi. not impressed woth sound quality, took tv back to store and swapped for a new one because sound was echoing and felt like listening in a tunnel. second tv same experience, decided to keep as tv is more for background noise then anything. considering buying a sound bar to see if that amkes sound better, but not happy that it seems like this is a pmoy to have to buy a sound bar….

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tv. No regrets! I do like the TV! I'm just watching "regular" tv, and I'm not using it for games or other stuff. The picture is wonderful and clear. The color is fine. It comes on quickly, and I haven't had any issues with it. My only hesitation is with the remote. Too often, I've muted the tv when just trying to change the volume. I've also gotten the guide when I wanted to change the channel. I mostly watch an app to get basic channels, but I have to scroll through all channels rather than directly choosing a channel. Yuck, but I'm guessing that's an issue with the app software rather than with Samsung. Still, overall, I've liked the tv.

Would often drop laptop/desktop Bluetooth screen share, gaming mode doesn't work well with pc (major latency between tv and a 3060ti gaming set up). Compared to the fire tv, Google Chrome cast and roku, samsungs ui isn't user friendly. Turning off samsung tv is complicated, slows the tv down drastically.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn’t measure up to other Samsung tvs I own sound is very poor. need to turn up to half volume before it’s within a normal range. compared to other samsung tvs that are the same at a quarter. very thin, tinny sound. the voice remote is usekess. i have google assist. you cant change channels with it and there’s no keypad to do so manually. it lacks the capabilities of an xfibity voice remote significantly edge lit picture quality is poor.

Perfect! i purchased this tv as a replacement for my office tv. hanging it on the wall, setting it up and all preferences were truly easy experience! the on screen set up guide walks you through the process in an easy to understand manner and worked flawlessly. even though i do not have an hd cable box, the quality of the picture is outstanding! so clear, crisp, sharp, colorful...much better than my older flat screen tv. i love the 'thinness' of the screen. the remote is easy to use and not overwhelming. voice commands work nicely. i would highly recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV for the right price i purchased this tv three weeks ago and have loved every minute that i've owned it. my previous tv which i hadn't even owned for an entire year (and was a different brand) only worked right for the first couple of weeks that i owned it. it was so bad i could no longer watch anything on it, that's when i decided to do research and find a better tv of a different brand. i was originally going to get the 7000 series but then saw the 8000 in the store and that it was only slightly higher in price. i learned my lesson from the previous one, you get what you pay for. i have been more than satisfied with the au8000, it has done everything i wanted in a tv. i would definitely recommend samsung and would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Samsung Picture, interface needs work i only buy tvs from two manufacturers and samsung is one of them. it's the best value for the money and the ones i've had have provided years of reliable service. this tv has a wonderful picture and that's really why you buy a tv -- for the picture. but the "smart" features interface is clunky -- it needs a one-button on the remote to get you to the settings, not a scroll left up down right press just to change the video setting or connect a bluetooth headset -- which brings me to my other complaint: although i am sitting less than 10 feet from the tv, bluetooth still disconnects during normal channel changing -- and i am using a top of the line headset. overall, this is a great set for the money if you don't mind ending up with remote control fatigie.

Set-up is slightly complicated with pictures or email needs… Picture jumps a bit with extended view shots of a program(but that could also be my Dish connection). Pictures are clear and vibrant colors. Sound is non-distorted. Overall great investment for the cost.

This crystal UHD was meant really just for gaming( it does an amazing at it!) but the tv really humbly impressed and surprized me with the whole host of options and settings dedicated to streaming and just watching some tv sometimes. i in particular love the audio settings, specifcally the equalizer and surround sound. completely, on it's own, upgraded my gaming experience massively. HDR is very nice as well.

The tv speaker can use some improvement but it's ok. The one thing I don't like so much is since my Xbox one is connected to it, it turns on the console when the TV is turned on.

The remote can be fidgety at times, the mic on the remote is somewhat useless, the App Store isn’t great on Samsung, and there is sometimes some input delay with the remote. I consider this all to be minuscule problems because the tv is great at what it does. the apps it does have work well and always play in very high quality. It gets loud, it’s very stable, I’m overall very happy with the TV

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought online i really wanted to like this tv. i purchased online, this was a mistake. first ,i have a hearing problem and the sound quality is not good at all. i now have to purchase a sound bar. had i know this i would have made a different selection. second, the "apps' bar is so small across the screen there is difficulty navigating to my selections. third, the remote control buttons are also too small so double whammy. had i been in the store i would have gone with a different tv. picture is good and size of tv great.

This TV fit the bill, not only was it a great price, perfect size, I have the 65" in the Living Room. Don't play games on it but have a 1TB USB plugged in for home movies and an old WD TV Media Player, no compatibility problems. Watch local TV but majority viewing is streaming from the likes of Netflix/Prime, not that it doesn't give me access to Apple TV and ALL the rest it does, either by apps provided or those which need to be added. Recommend to anyone thinking of buying. Samsung just works

While many OLED tvs suffer from dimness this tv seems exempt. The sound is excellent and can stand on it's own without any need for a sound bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The picture and color GOOD Sound TERRIBLE picture and color are awesome. the sound is terrible. no… it’s not my cable service, i had it checked. the set-up instructions leaves to much to your imagination. the owner manual is on-line which makes it even harder to use. talking to a support person is next to impossible. just prior to packing it up and taking it back to the store, i finally discovered another setting for sound with choices of normal - loud - amplify. the amplify setting made it better… but the sound is not anywhere near as good as the picture. no… i don’t want to buy a sound bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy and Satisfied with my purchase My intention was to purchase a Samsung TV that was on promotion for $299.99, but when I went in to take a look at it at the Best Buy Store on Almaden, the friendly sales person suggested I purchase the UN 43 AU 8000 FXZA as it had twice the bytes, whereas the cheaper one only had 1080. Even though it was nearly double the price, and it was not on sale I decided to go with it. I am so glad I did, because I love so many features on it eg Clarity of the picture, Samsung TV+, U-tube, and so on.

After using this set for broadcast shows and streaming I have found it extremely easy to use and navigate. I would recommend this TV to anyone using cable, or cutting the cord as it has all the apps.

The entire setup rivals my living room 65 inch Samsung with the 650 soundbar subwoofer and rear speakers, hands down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked better than expected right out of the box. i was expecting to have to buy an amazon firestick of roku to get any web based service. not so. it has a wi-fi built in and everything worked the first time i tried. easy to set up. picture absolutely great. the remote is a little different and takes some learning. spent a whole 5 minutes on that. otherwise, everything worked as expected. best electronic product purchase i ever made.

Every time an older TV in my home from a different brand has problems - I just need to replace it with a new Samsung. I bought my first Samsung TV monitor one decade ago for a computer monitor, and still performing great. I now have three more including the latest. The best buy agreement that I received was too difficult to miss. Three purchases of the last Samsung TV I have a smart sound control remote and include TV plus with wireless internet. All of these features have performed very well. The image is perfect in all four. TV speakers are a little anemia, but it is easy to overcome by adding a compatible amplifier system. The additional amplifiers that I have on every TV also provide a very pleasant surround sound experience over every standard default TV speaker. Anyone who is looking for a theater's sound must find a good sound booster - too easy to add it today, even wirelessly. This UHD Crystal 43 "screen even rival my Samsung QLED which is more expensive. The image settings and sounds require some initial adjustments on any TV, and my Samsung TV is no different. The difference is that Samsung's control has given me the settings that I like and desired to good display and sound control. This makes me "camping happily" and therefore, I also have many other Samsung products in my home, including Samsung phones and their accessories. All continue to provide reliable performan

It has a VA-type panel with high native contrast and excellent black uniformity, but it lacks any local dimming feature to improve the black levels. Luckily, it doesn't have any trouble upscaling lower-resolution content, and it removes judder from 24p sources.The Samsung AU8000 is unremarkable for watching HDR content. It has a high native contrast ratio that makes blacks look black,The Samsung AU8000 is decent for HDR gaming. It has low input lag for gaming, but it has a slow response time and no VRR support. Sadly, HDR content doesn't look very good because it can't display a wide color gamut and has low peak brightness, so highlights don't stand out how they should. It has high native contrast, but there's no local dimming feature to improve it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Set Up and Use! We love our new Samsung TV! We bought a Samsung soundbar to use with it as well. It was amazingly easy to connect everything! We literally plugged everything in and the Samsung TV did the work of pairing the soundbar, the remote, etc. The remote is a bit challenging at first, but we settled into it pretty quickly. The picture quality is fantastic - very clear picture and crisp color. We would absolutely recommend Samsung!

I believe I purchased this TV about a year or two ago and it is definitely a great TV with superb 4K picture quality and it was at a reasonable price. I since have purchased a 55" TV from another brand for my bedroom but this TV sits out in the living room and it's prefect for guest when they come visit. I'll definitely buy another TV this size for a house when we move into one.

The picture looks great for everything that is streamed on the TV. The interface is easy to use. I like the size and functionality of the remote. When it comes to TVs, you never go wrong with a Samsung TV and that’s why my household is exclusively Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim, nice audio, nice picture quality bought this tv online through samsung. arrived & noticed the top right corner looked like the screen cover was lifting looked like a protective cover for the screen. month later the lifting looked worse, did some research and looks like it is a polarized film. i contacted samsung. a tech came out to look and said that shouldn't happen, we noticed the edges of tv looked like they where not glued down fully. he called samsung support they stated "physical damage" and my case was closed. i could see this causing problems with other corners in the long run being exposed to dust and lifting like a protective cover does on a phone. but samsung states this is not supposed to happen, yet it did on my tv.

My favorite part is that it connects to my phone too, makes it so easy to use and it is a perfect size for my room. I also really like that the technology is super advance where I can stream from my phone and see it in my TV. The visuals are great and the remote control is a perfect size too. Overall I think this Samsung TV is by far the best electronic purchased I've done recently!

Standard cable the picture is so much better. On the High def channels the picture pops right out as though the tv was a window into whatever I'm watching. I don't think I could be happier with a TV.

Right out of the box we were able to connect to it and broadcast to it using a range of different devices. When we needed some background noise it also came with several streaming channels that we could put on with a little something for everyone. We didn't have to mess with it or install anything. It was good to go right out of the box. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with limited time who wants their television to just work.

Connects with my other Samsung devices and easy to name devices according to the connection that I am using. The one bad thing is the remote is not user friendly at night. When you watch movies at night you cannot see the buttons on the remote and you have to turn a light on to see what you are pressing. Backlit keys on the remote would work amazing for future upgrades. TV was easy to connect and load up at the beginning and it does its own upgrades without having to wait for me to allow the update. Highly recommend for anyone with a room 500 sq ft or less.

I had two 27-inch monitors hooked up to my laptop, and was find that this did not provide enough real estate if the laptop lid were closed. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the Samsung - it looked as though it would meet my needs. Boy, what a GREAT decision!!! I was concerned about using the native 4k resolution, but I sit about 3 feet away from the screen and have no issues at all. The brightness is fantastic. It especially shines during video conferences - if the presenter is showing a busy slide or sharing a small window, I can make it as large as I need on this display...I have yet to be presented with something where I couldn't see the minutest detail. On those times where I'm done for the day, having Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Prime, and Youtube simply cannot be beat, and the bluetooth connectivity works perfectly with both of my noise cancelling headphones...great for shows and conference calls. I could not be more satisfied with this TV.

Bought for a guest room which didn’t need a monster tv, but I’m all about quality so a mid-line Samsung was the way to go. One feature I didn’t realize wasn’t included in this model and the only reason I give this 4 stars rather than 5…I wanted the ability to have the tv on with an image when not in use. Nothing better than a Samsung screen, if I could use it as a piece of art that would be ideal. Otherwise, the picture, function and sound are all terrific. Very happy with the purchase

Crystal clear picture and the self help settings were so easy to understand! I mainly stream from the easy to install apps, but occasionally switch to my streaming device if an app is not available. I haven’t found very many not available! My previous television was a Samsung and it lasted many years and was tickled when this one showed up on my doorstep. Thank you for your quality products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A little short of greatness this is a superb tv. one of the thinnest on the market. but it has been stripped of common connectivity. no headphone jack. only pairs to a single device. i tried to pair two sets of apple airpods. unable, the tv is loaded with bluetooth 4.3, not 5.0 or grester, so only one device can pair. so you resort to trying to connect them via a bluetooth transmitter. airpods dont have volume control when not connected to an apple device. so that is a dead end. how kuch room did a 3.5mm jack take up? samsung, i hope your planning a software update of this tv to 5.0/5.1 bluetooth, its my only hope to use my airpods with it. just to add some background, pun intended, ambient noise environments wrech to audio, and buds/pods are the choice way to go. give me the option!

With cable TV we have to crank it all the way to 80 or 90 just to clearly hear it, but if we're viewing through an app, 35-40 is more than loud enough.

I am retired so I am catching up on my shows. I watch a lot of documentaries and wild life shows, the color and sound of this TV make my TV viewing so much more enjoyable and the ease of operation is a bonus. I love that I can use Alexa to find my shows because of this feature I find that I am getting the most of all of my streaming media. I love my Samsung and plan to replace all my TV’s with Samsung.

The only problem I have is when I ask Alexa turn on the tv it does not always work (maybe this is an Alexa problem

It never freezes or crashes like other smart tvs do. I never lose my connection to the internet and the picture quality is fantastic. It's so easy to use everything is right there on the open screen. It's easy to manipulate the screen and set it up the way you want it to be and downloading and deleting apps is a breeze. I'm extremely happy with my tv.

We’ve not had the opportunity to get it connected with our DISH yet, but we’ve been watching and using the laptop with this tv. I’m looking forward to getting everything switched around and using this tv full time. Audio and screen quality are great. The less bulky remote is easy to handle as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT!!! I love how SUPER Clear this TV is. I replace a plasma TV that made my room really hot. This Samsung is Clear it has all the functions right at your fingertips. I did not care for the remote control. I miss having the numbers. I was wondering how much space really does have the number pad take up why did they remove them. I did download the Samsung remote app and I use that too. This TV has some really great features. You have all your apps for streaming and access to the Samsung Plus TV shows. I like how those stations comes up on the guide and tell you what is on. I am happy with my purchase. I own a 65 inch Samsung in my living room and I just purchase this for the my bedroom. You will love this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good screen, not so good streaming or sound the built in samsung streaming hardware has lip sync issues with streaming video. the quality of the built in streaming is like a $15 usb streaming stick with hangs, sound/lips not syncing to the video, especially on live streams like various live live news channels. the sound is also quite horrible with the built in tiny speaker. the good news is that the display is very good. so if you want to enjoy this tv, and i would guess most of samsung's new tvs, you will need a soundbar and a high end big name streaming device, not a low end usb streaming stick.

The picture is much crisper and I like that additional streaming services are supported and upgraded features. The sound is not that powerful - although that's typically the case with flatscreen TVs. I purchased a sound bar - which I was planning to do anyway. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and hope this TV lasts as long as my last one did.

No need for spendy cable anymore you can have all the same channels with Samsung TV all for free. Beautiful picture quality all the time. I've had this TV almost two years now and never any problems, never any lagging, or fuzzy picture. Completely satisfied with my Samsung TV and will continue to use Samsung products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from convenience at basic operations was not there the 55 inch au 8000 remote, universal , was not compatible with most operations ,no roku ,no voice commands ,no channels change .after 4 hours with 3 techs ,with a new remote....the remote is not compatible with the comcast box , comcast is one of the largest tv providers with reliable up to date boxes ,if samsung remote is not compatible ,whoes problem is it ? their solution is to buy another samsung tv @ +$200.00, and it should work ?

This new release is so much more colorful even if I tried to go and change the colors on the old unit and made them as bright as they can go. No chance to be as good as this. I have it paired with a Samsung Hw-ms650 sound bar and I’m very pleased with how much an upgrade it is over a year apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meh my first foray into samsung tv's . i've always had their phones and tablets and been impressed with them but i am not impressed with their tv. first off the remote ! what on earth is this hunk of junk ??? oh it's all cute and small, but idiotic and simple in its operation, when it works. the 50 inch i got tv itself is average, for samsung to proclaim the crystal uhd is good over conventional hd tv's is just a flat out exaggeration. the quality of the picture is average at best! this follows up after i bought the samsung 32 inch qled tv for my bedroom and took it back after a week because it was just so bad ! there ends my experiment with their tv's!!

I wonder if it is the ISP spectrum and also the internal computer display codes of the information from the source?

Amazingly, the picture looks incredible no matter what the lighting situation. It was very easy to set up and it’s light enough to be easily moved when cleaning. I absolutely would recommend this TV.

I have to wear glasses to watch TV all the time and it can get annoying. With the Samsung Crystal UHD TV, I DO NOT have to wear my glasses at all! That is how amazing the picture quality is to me. Also, I just love that it's a Smart TV. Everything is already there, no problem at all! The set up was so easy and signing into all my apps was simple.

I use it behind att UVerse and stream Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, AppleTV+, Disney+ and others. It is easy to switch between mediums. Liked it so much I just bought another.

We use our home WiFi to watch shows on a multitude of channels. Our Internet connection is very slow (less than 10 MPS) as we live in a small town without any high speed service available in our location. We are still able to stream well to our new Samsung. Our garage is heated and cooled and we have a treadmill in it. Until we got the TV, the treadmill went unused quite a lot, but now that we have our TV, we use it daily. Makes the time go so much faster! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with an unfortunate setback the tv itself is wonderful regarding picture quality and resolution. however, i cant really enjoy this wonderful tv when the screen freezes at times with the remote control malfuntioning once every few times. my main issue us the remote control. theres a serious lag between when a button is pressed on trh remote to when i see a change on the screen. sometimes its more than 10 seconds. sometimes the screen just freezes which is where i hit the home button to reset or worse case, power off the tv and restart.

It's definitely better than previous versions plus being able to play my iPad music is a bonus too with Apple Airplay.

The only problem I noticed after 6 months is when I first turn it on, the black color is too black and too dark so I have to cut it off and then back on each time to get a normal picture. Not sure what is going on here and can't seem to figure it this out!

I also use most of the streaming services and watch them in 4K resolution. I also bought this tv becasue of the design of the stands. This 43" is my newest Samsung and love that it incl Samsung Plus TV, so many channels streaming, like my 65". (Replaces my 2016 Samsung 43"). Has great pix and sound, even w/o added soundbar. Re SOUNDBAR, easy to set up BT soundbar connection (I'm 64yrs old female). Just wish this 43" model could do 1 step with my remote "TOOLS" button for SLEEP TIMER. Also wish I could set up for "auto on" like my older 32" & 43" Samsungs .

We use the TV to regular network and internet channels and primarily for viewing YouTube. The only issue we have with the unit is that the sound seems to be more Treble and less Bass than the prior unit and, I can't find the setting for this feature but only the different venue settings such as Cinema, or Concert, or Theatre etc. I plan to research that and see if another setting is more to our liking but otherwise, the set meets all of our needs with a beautiful picture. We would recommend this unit to anyone searching this size and price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value purchase I purchased the frame for my living room and loved it. I decided to stick with Samsung when I upgraded my bedroom TV but didn’t want to break the bank. Overall The picture quality is good but in dark scenes, there are light patches which isn’t terrible but they are noticeable. The remote is super easy to use as well as the built in apps. The only real issue I have with this TV is that I do have problems with it connecting to/staying connected to wi-fi upon th initial start up of the TV. That does get a bit frustrating as I only stream. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and would make it again.

The thin design and sleek finishes make the tv look very expensive and modern. I wasn't as impressed with the sound quality. will definitely need to invest in a soundbar to elevate it's performance. The remote is very responsive, and is can behave temperamental. The ai, isn't all that great either. I have another Samsung that's two years older, but much more intuitive. Still a really incredible television. worth every penny and would buy it again, even with the short comings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy As a Clam i have been geeking out on the picture quality. one of the first things i watched on this set was a streaming of fantastic fungi. i was constantly ooing and ahing over the time lapse photography. but that's not all, even an old black and white movie like casablanca looks so much better on this set than it would have on the 13 year old sony that i replaced with this tv. the smart tv functions all work very well, and it's easy to navigate the menus with the remote. i noticed some reviewers had been unimpressed with the sound. granted, news announcers sound very slightly "tinny," but when watching a movie (including music films) the sound is just fine. as the title says, i am happy as a clam!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed our first smart tv. took us awhile to get use to it and how to use the settings. picture is beautiful and the tv is easy to use. i wasn't liking the tinny sound but i read some of these comments and saw in the response how to adjust the sound in the settings. it's much better now and we re comfortable with the sound now. great tv. glad we chose this one. **** i think people have to understand the settings before they downgrade the product. maybe a better manual would work.

It is a perfect size for a bedroom or office as it doesn't take up a ton of space and is a quality TV for the price. The TV has preset settings for gaming/movies/etc and they are excellent for giving the optimal viewing experience. I use as many Samsung products as I can.

Easy to navigate using the Alexa remote control.I love the features of its colors and hue it makes me feel I’m in the theater while watching inside our room. For the apps it already available. I don’t need the cable box, wifi connection is enough to enjoy watching. From the moment we bought this TV where not the only one would like to buy it. We meet the other buyer who’s looking for the same brand. We’re curious about it that’s why we ask the couple why do they like to buy it too? They told us it is the number 1 as in top 1 best seller and top on the list if your buying a flat screen TV with all functional. It is so amazing to know about this TV. As we use it, no wonder why they like it because there’s a voice command remote just in case you don’t need to find thing immediately. It is so convenient to use this. Samsung has a lot of TV to choose from. Thank you so much Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outasanding Picture Best Picture quality we have ever had. Very easy to set up. From turning it on to finding You-Tube and all the other streaming. No set-up issues all the TV found our Wi-Fi and has never forgot it. If we have a power out due to a storm the TV finds the Wi-Fi no set-up needed. Its like the power outage never happened.

I have never been disappointed by the quality of a Samsung Electronic or Appliance. They're second to none in electronics.

I cannot believe the difference between my old 40 inch Samsung and my new Samsung 43 inch. Picture and voice are much clearer. Plus the size of the 43 is actually smaller and narrower than my 40. I am very happy I stayed with the Samsung brand

I have added a sound bar with a sub-woofer and it works great. The smart TV features work well and I have only had to add the ESPN app to make my viewing complete. Two small nits--the smart TV functionality could be faster in operation and the stand legs could be supplemented with a central stand. The width of the feet provided require a broad surface to set it on.

It’s overall a fine TV, however, it is quite stuttery and will often go very “dark” out of nowhere even after exhausting all possible brightness, contrast, and gamma setting options. So, I find myself squinting at it more often than not. The audio and visuals function adequately, aside from the unsolvable darkening error.

I love the smart features which allows for screen mirroring. I could use it as a second screen for my laptop and show customers what I was working on for them. When I moved and needed a second tv at home, I quickly moved this tv since it was almost too good to use at work. I will definitely be buying another Samsung for my office now. Thank you for the great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interface is too confusing! this was my first samsung smart tv. i don't think i used it for two days before i returned it. the format/interface is crap. whenever you are on the home screen, a video automatically plays. that is very distracting. when i scrolled through the channels, it did not indicate which icon was selected. i had to keep trying them until i get the one i wanted. and if i didn't get the one i wanted ..... back to the home screen with an annoying video. as for the remote, very disappointed that was the best samsung could develop. there isn't even a 10 back or forward option! to be honest, the picture was pretty decent. i am not a big fan of hd (it looks too much like soap operas), but it was starting to grow on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture very pleased with the tv set. 43 inch is as big as i could fit in the area where it is. sound is ok, but i bought a samsung hw-a50m sound bar. it was inexpensive, but the sound is very good. my only complaint is the instructions for the remote control. it took a call to the samsung people to get how to go the the settings menu. remote is not very intuitive. overall, i'm pleased with everything.

It's a smart tv of course and has a great lineup of apps pre-installed and a ton of nice features included. Another thing I love is the size of the bezel or edge of the TV itself is very small and the TV itself is very thin. Looks almost like a painting and helps with weight and placement of the item. All in all, very happy with this TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love i had an older model tv and when i upgraded to this i was amazed at the colors and crispness of the screen. having it hooked up to internet was good, means no more tripping over cords, but because i have basic internet there can be a lag. i love the extra samsung channels too. i have a samsung smart monitor too,i got at the beginning of covid, and noticed that the remote for my monitor and tv work for the other, as far as on/off and volume, so be careful. one complaint i have is while there is the option of sleep timer on thenquick setting menu there isn’t the option of screen off on the quick setting menu. minor complaint but for me, those go hand and hand. otherwise i love it

Love it that we purchased it just in time for football season!! I would encourage anyone who is looking to purchase a new TV to give this one strong consideration! When I watch sports I love the sound and picture quality. Switching between channels is a breeze with the microphone feature. Plus there is the opportunity to save favorite channels and programs. I wasn't sure if the 43 inch model was going to be large enough but it turns out that it is the perfect size for my space. I am well pleased with my choice.

The sound system is not the greatest for strong bass but it has been good enough for us. The tv setup was good and easy to do, completed in a few minutes. The TV has lots of features that we do not use but for our limited use it has exceeded expectations and is a great upgrade for the low cost.

The quality of the television enhances the graphics to the point where certain characters or locations look very realistic. Furthermore, if my television is off but I turn on my console, the television will automatically turn on which I think is a very innovative feature which I do not see with other televisions. As for the streaming features, it is by far one of the most simple features to use and not to mention the television has built in channels such as Vice, MTV, ABC, et cetera that are free (So long as WiFi is available)! The television also includes a built in browser which is very easy to use as well as convenient. Overall 5 Stars! Samsung continues to change the meaning of a Smart Television and I am very excited for future models!

I was able to watch a YouTube video on this tv by using this feature. The Samsung TV Plus is another unexpected feature that I am making use of with their many free channels. This tv picked up over 60 channels off the outside antenna. The only bummer is the remote that is supposed to have a microphone to access Alexa which it does not have.

It is simple to use and makes sense. We wanted a set with internet capabilities and this fits the bill. My only complaint is the sound is tinny to my ear. I plan on ordering a sound bar for richer sound. I would highly recommend this television. The sound is my person preference.

So, my TV is great even with it being almost 2 yrs old. My product is awesome. The only thing I would love for the TV upgrade to have is the dual Bluetooth mode. I also wish you guys could upgrade the limitations of the television. So expand its knowledge in software more and appstore. My TV speed is out of date because it's getting old. Can be seen at any angle with a clear picture and great performance. It has yet to misconnect with the wifi and I'm sure the hard wire feature could only be better. But I haven't needed to do that. The setup was easy, and gave complete on screen instructions. Very easy to use with a simple remote you can do everything in the onscreen menu. The performance was so good I got a second tv for my sons room he loves it for playing games or to mirror his PC to it and even that was easy. From a loyal customer A+ All around great job Samsung

The digital Volume meter tops out at 100, and this is often not enough for living room viewing after dinner -- not even without any guests. I wonder if external (hi-fi) speakers would provide more volume. The previous Samsung TV (circa 2012) was on a pedestal with a base about 16 inches wide that sat conveniently on the wooden cabinet that holds the DirecTV receiver and a VCR/DVD unit. This model uses rigid stands that are 26 inches apart. just beyond the edges of the cabinet. I had to find a plank to set on top of the cabinet. Am I pleased with this TV? YES! Would I buy it again? CERTAINLY!

Have been buying Samsung TVs for many years as I trust their reliability and ease of operation. Bought the 65" model for the Living Room, the 43" model for the Master Bedroom. That way wife only had to learn how to operate one remote. Both TV's offer excellent picture clarity at a reasonable price.

Especially, when watching tennis, football, and basketball. The 43 inch size is perfect for our new and cozy Texas Hill Country living room. Appreciate all of the built in streaming apps and how easy it was to set up. Like having the 2 regular HDMI connections, the Digital connection for my CD player, and the HDMI Arc connection for my sound bar. When we moved into our new home I replace my 10 year old Samsung Progressive Scan (which I loved), but this new Crystal HD is even better. Thanks!

Keep a remote handy for the volume as each channel can vary quite a bit. I thought the picture would be deeper in aspect but it still satisfies. Previous TV was very slow navigating through menus and would lag often despite a strong wifi signal. This one is a million times better. Menus navigate very quickly, streams flawlessly, and has an excellent picture. Fits the space perfectly, and we're very happy with it.

It has a built in user guide and you can share your phone screen on the tv, which personally I found to be awesome!

The remote is easy to use to switch from my console to regular channels or streaming services too. I do wish that Samsung had Viki in their app store, really hoping it becomes available again. Otherwise, great tv, glad I upgraded.

The only issue is that this TV will not work with the MLB.tv app. You have to watch on your phone and cast to the TV. With that, casting is super easy from your phone to TV. This TV has replaced my Roku device and the separate Digital Converter Box for my over-the-air "bunny ears." You can plug a TV antenna directly into the TV without the separate box.

I just recently played the Last of Us remake and it was incredibly beautiful and well detailed. Watching movies is just as beautiful. This was my first time having a 4K Tv and I am still amazed each time I turn it on to play games or watch a movie on how bright and colorful it is. Get this T.V.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice pic, thin display, but poor sound quality. this has a beautiful picture, but be prepared to purchase an external sound bar or connet to a sound system, because the sound quality struggles to reach that of an old mono radio. it has no bass, only trebble. the remote and media interface is pretty ituitive if you are used to an apple tv or roku. if someone wants a simple channel up/down, they are out of luck. there are a few quirks with the media interface, such as the inability to search for somethig with two or more words, because there is no space character. several apps dont allow you to enter a city with two words. samsung offers a few free months of samsung plus, which is a cable tv lineup.

Some network programs have dialog that's difficult to understand even with the sound settings at optimal. This is all through Spectrum cable so it might be their issue. Hard for the consumer to know. Still overall a good value.

When my Family Room TV went out I bought the exact same model on 11/17/2022. I am 73 yrs old and try to keep technology as simple as possible. I thought I would not have to learn new menus etc. It turns out the new TV has different menu and the biggest issue I have is the sound is very poor. I have to crank up the volume. The Bedroom TV volume level is 9 and new TV in the family room has to go up to 35 in some channels. Same TV model happy with one and unhappy with the second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All good but the remote I've had this TV for about 3 weeks now. There was a bit of a learning curve to get started with but it's similar to my other Samsung TV. Great color and picture quality. My only negative about it is the control. It is so darned small and black. It is hard to see in low light and my large hands and fingers don't cope well with it. The control could use backlighting or white lettering on the buttons to enable those of us with poor night vision to navigate it.

What is with the annoying voice assistant? Why is there no option to turn it off? Remote is very user unfriendly. Using streaming only and it takes forever to load my Spectrum TV app. Also unable to load Paramount+.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interface is poor we thought this tv would be an upgrade from the tcl roku tv. not sure at this moment. 1. the interface and app logo are way to small for anyone under 40 to read. the interface seems slow at times and sometimes reverts back to home when it cannot load the app. 2. it loses our wifi nearby daily. the tv is not in the same room as our modem but still you would think that 200 mb internet would work. 3. the remote is not very fun to use, especially the volume. it has only three preloaded app on it for easy access and isnt very responsive at times. i thought the 8000 series was going to blow me away but if actually makes me hope the next version has to be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Picture Quality and Worse from Off Center the picture quality is poor. i tried many combinations of the different settings. even at its best, the lighting is off. from straight on, it's not too bad, but if i am watching from off to the side, the whites are very washed out. i am using amazon firestick with amazon firetv recast to watch with over the air signal. this all worked much better with my prior samsung tv. same white-washing when i tune to the samsung tv channels. i have the 50" model.

As with a lot of seniors she watches a lot of sports. The first day we went over the remote several times to make sure she got. We had a great day together it was her birthday. When we got home that night she called my husband and I looked at each other and oh no what's wrong, turns out she called to say she saw the hockey puck whizzing by on the tv she had never seen it so good doesn't need her glasses to see tv Anymore. Wanted to thank us for the tv best gift ever

Picture is clean and crisp only thing is the blacks might not get as dark as you want or whites get as bright just nake sure you mess with setting try dynamic mode. For gaming it's great with the next gen consoles only thing is being a 2021 I wish they would've included a hdmi 2.1 support at least one port becuase next gen consoles rely on that for things 120hz refresh which the TV does t support. Other than audio is great and is better when you fine tune your settings

The sound is a bit weak due to speaker location, but not a major issue. Would buy again. It should be noted that most all Samsung TV's use the same RF for the remote. So if another newer Samsung TV is nearby or next to another Samsung TV, buyer beware of the remote controlling both TV's. Overall this is a awesome TV with an unbelievable picture. My family fell in love with the idea of watching all our favorite shows and movies. But all changed when I was invited to my cousins home and saw his Samsung TV. He was streaming a football game from his TV. So I said that was cool because you are sharing your screen from your cellphone to your TV. I too did this with my roku, the only problem is some times I have buffering and lagging issues when mirroring. He said no I'm not mirroring but playing this from the tv's built in browser. Well unfortunately roku doesn't have a built in browser. Making a long story short I have sinced bought my second Samsung tv and in the process of buying a third. I am replacing all my roku tvs. My Samsung allows me to go to my favorite websites, read my kindle books, and with the Alexa app my tv has endless capabilities. Another favorite feature that I love is the Samsung channel. My wife and I have several of our favorite channels saved. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had an issue with the 7000 series. There was a power outage and I lost my tv. Because I was in my warranty window Samsung took good care of me. But who came out to do the repair didn't do his job correctly. The tv went out again 2 weeks later before Samsung refunded me. I took that money and purchased the 8000 model and my tv is doing great. I am now officially Samsung from my cellphones, refrigerator, and tvs. I will continue to support Samsung.

We wanted to replace our Samsung LED for years and we were waiting for the TV to break or give us problems! It never did!! The builtin Bluetooth module is super useful, I use it to connect my wireless headset. Tizen works well and most of the apps are available, some functions like screen mirroring could be faster though.

I use it is my main television for network TV, streaming, gaming and I can even use it as a third WIRELESS monitor for my computer! As I have a Samsung phone as well, the compatibly is amazing. I can near instantly second screen my phone to the TV or just cast whatever I'm listening/watching. I thought I was going to miss out on it not being a specific mobile OS because of app selection, however Samsung has each and every app I wanted for the TV and more. Add to this you get access to Samsung TV+ which is a great addition, for free! I originally connected a cheap soundbar when I set everything up but removed the soundbar when I realized the TV had better audio. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and have recommended Samsung TV's to anyone in the market.

Like comparable Gaming monitors in this realm. I would love to see Samsung Get the q70t into a 43" size and then I may upgrade. Most games I play are 60 fps games, I am on console. I am slowly moving into the Pc gaming world and I will upgrade then. Most likely another Samsung. I do wish the 21' tv's had MLB app on it. So that is disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy for the TV, Stay for the remote Just bought our set recently after our last TV died. The picture is crisp and the OS is snappy but the real winner is the remote. Being able to properly connect to and control every attached device we own (including FiOS box!!!) is such a convenience and I'm in love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally upgraded to smart tv I mostly use my tv to stream television. I'm very happy with the resolution and 43" was the perfect size for me. It fits the table I have, and is a nice large picture. The tv freezes from time to time and I have to choose another channel or setting and then return to what I was watching to continue the stream. Occasionally it self corrects, but most often it does not. I have been streaming for years with another smaller (non-smart) tv, and never had this issue, so I know it isn't a wifi issue.

How does my Samsung TV because I can get things from the internet that easily strings many movie channels that I have subscriptions to the picture is Crystal Clear just like it says crystal ! love my Samsung TV the size of it is perfect Karma it does does not move around if I bump it. I don't have to worry about it falling over, stable, sturdy television. Very fast recover rate at 120 hz. Shipped to me extremely fast. Astounding set!

The clarity of the picture and the Samsung free streaming Chanel is great. I had a little trouble setting up, but the help line was easy to reach, and they guided me through the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality picture I LOVE my new Samsung! I've had a 28" tv for over 10 years because of the space available to me on a wall bracket. I thought that was a good tv until I decided I wanted a bigger one that was a smart tv and capable whatever I needed it for. My main reason to upgrade: Football Season. Oh my, what a difference. Best purchase ever! I see every imperfection on faces, beautiful colors and things I didn't realize I was missing. Watching a show I've already seen I'm like I never noticed that! I am so happy I made this move and can't wait for football. I am a true believer in Samsung, thank you for making me switch.

First it is so weight wise light..blows my mind from the old days and consol televisions. The screen is the most vibrant I have ever seen. I am just in love with this television. Completely worth the purchase. I will warn it does tend to get slightly warmer..well hot than my last television.. I'm not sure if that is common .. I'm thinking of getting a cooling mat like for my laptop ..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesnt work with Youtube tv app when using the youtube tv app changing channels causes the tv to hang up and go dark , have to restart the app to go to next channel, this isnt a problem with my other samsung tv neither samsung or youtube tv have resolved this. when they do ill remove this review, if its still here, its still a problem

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV i love the tv, very clear picture. i gave it 4 stars because the remote sucks. it is very hard to use. less buttons does not make it a better remote. getting back to the home screen on prime or netflix is a nightmare. the screen shows a view of what you are watching and the different apps and it takes 3-4 tries to get back to the movie list. very poor design.

New remote is smooth and works fast. ( Like it better than my firetv) wifi connection is solid. Easy to set up all my apps. Love the Samsung free channels included with TV. :)

(compare to video quality) i realize that all tv's are like this now but find it annoying because i now have to purchase a sound bar.

I unfortunately had to buy a new one because my old one broke I don't even know how. (I left my house and when I came back the screen was messed up) Anyways, I got this one and so far its been doing good. I love the sound quality of it! The picture is great but I'm still getting use to the features and how to add channels. I hope you all do the channel PHILO because I pay for that one monthly!? I use that channel more often then others cause its like cable but cheaper. So good so far. I am happy Samsung customer I have the phone, tablet and now TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for a large bedroom i had a 36" tv in our large (14x19') bedroom, and it wasn't quite big enough to see from my chair on the opposite side of the room. we replaced it with this 43" tv, and now i can read the guide & list on directv, and the offerings on streaming channels. the 43" tv could use the same mounting bracket we had already installed, which was also nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for ME Samsung AU8000 Purchased in Nov of 22 for after kitchen reno. Put t up at end of March. Worked for a week. Had very bad expend with Samsung help on Phone. Long story short got anther Samsung TV after about a Month and 1/2 of back and forth got and upgrade to Samsung TV and hated it. Sounded terrible and the features were not easy to understand. Ended up taking back and purchasing a Sony. Very Sad because th Had a whole suite of Samsung appliances when I redid my kitchen. Lets hope no issues with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s OK at best and… I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago for my 80 year old mom and though I like it, the picture quality options are limited, compared to our living room Visio and the remote control really lets it down—the small type and the volume button which you have to tilt up and down rather than press. Samsung used to have to best picture quality but I’d recommend saving your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good picture, terrible software. Picture quality is very good. Certainly not quite a OLED contrast levels, but for the price it’s very good. The biggest issue is Samsungs terrible software. It’s buggy and requires constant full TV reboot. All I want the TV to do is remember to use HDMI 1 as the default but so often the TV will turn on in Samsungs “smart hub”, which is terrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good starter level smart tv blu ray player finally went kaput. so, i invested in a 4k tv and accompanying 4k blu ray player. this tv is a good starter for me into the 4k world. with an internet connection i can finally cut the cord with cable and enjoy my favorite apps. plus my 4k player works beautifully with this machine. my only gripe is that this is not a qled and as such can’t handle the judder of 4k resolution as well as i had hoped. that said, this tv is a good bargain. recommended for novices and/or comsumers who just want a smart tv for streaming services.

The Samsung Brand Ambassador replied to my first one suggesting that I adjust the sound settings. Of course, I already did that and it barely helped. When I returned it to Best Buy, the sales person said he won’t even sell that TV without a sound bar. Samsung Brand Ambassador, please don’t reply with a suggestion of adjusting the sound setting again. When Best Buy knows the sound sucks too, it isn’t the settings, it’s the speakers. This TV should be compared to TVs that are $100 more because you need a sound bar to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing & Time consuming journey Wanted a new "smart" TV so we could get rid of all the apple TV & fire TV equipment & operated a new streaming service with our apps from one device. Granted, the picture was beautiful. The remote was super cheap & not responsive to commands. We returned it the next day for a replacement & were told "it's just not a good remote...no replacement." We were not able to connect our streaming app (Direct TV streaming) to Samsung as we had been told. Had to buy an Apple TV device to download the Direct TV streaming app... & the other apps we wanted. Finally, we returned the TV (& Apple TV device) & bought a Sony which has Google TV & was able to easily connect to all apps, including the Direct TV streaming app. I was told that our brand new Samsung probably had old software & was not compatible with many apps.... :-/

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont buy unless you have other speakers i bought a different samsung tv about 18 months ago. i figured this one would be just as good. the speakers are beyond awful on this tv. i tried adjusting the setting but it was only marginally better. i really can’t believe they could even make the speakers sound this bad. absolutely dont buy this tv without a sound bar… unfortunstely once you add the cost of a soundbar, this tv becomes a terrible value. do yourself a favor and find a different tv.

I was able to connect an HD antenna to it & get all the local channels, HOWEVER, now (3.5 months later), I cannot get the antenna to work for me and am having a great deal of difficulty watching YouTubeTV. I can only watch this ap if I cast it to the tv from my phone, which I do NOT want to do. Don't know if it's me, the HD antenna and/or the YouTube Ap. Very Frustrated today, bult the other aps seem to work fine. Just wish I would have gotten a bigger screen!

I'm trying to assist my 82 year old mother in using it and it is a very frustrating experience. I'm middle-aged and able to operate a smart phone, tablet and computers, but struggle with looking for information for this TV. It is a complex device when the e-manual is over 140 pages! The leaflet that came in the box doesn't even scratch the surface. Please make your devices and manuals more user friendly. This is targeted to young people who have grown up surrounded by digital devices, but keep in mind that a large number of consumers do not fit into this category. One cannot fully appreciate all the features of the TV if one doesn't know how to access them.
