I only use it for watching movies in my home theater but I'm sure if you wanted to present something on it, that it would be relatively easy. It's worth the money!

The first weekend that we had it we invited friends over to watch some UFC fights and everyone was so amazed at the quality of the picture. Combined with the awesome sound we felt like we were sitting ringside. My parents loved it so much that they purchased one of their own the following week. I highly recommend it to anyone that cares about getting a high quality product

It just exceeded my expectations, I never expected these vivid colors from projector, from TV yes - but not from projector. It has this WOW effect first time you turn it on and start looking at hdr youtube videos, it's very clear and vivid colors. Before that I had 5040 Epson, Sony vpl-hw45es, and still have 65 OLED CX by LG, which were all great products and I thought I was spoiled by them. But I still got that WOW effect, I really like colors and clarity. And all of that is just on white wall in my bedroom, I'm still waiting for my screen to arrive - so I cannot even imagine how it can get any better.

But! … we have sent this projector back under warranty 3 times in the last 6 months. The projector shows an error message once turned on and then powers off in 5 seconds. Honestly for spending $5k this shouldnt be happening. Given the warranty I would expect to receive a new one for the amount of times I’ve had to send it back, but that hasnt been the case. So I would deff think about this before purchasing.

I own a Samsung LSP9T UST Laser TV and I have to admit that it delivers exceptional performance and viewable picture size, especially given the unit’s relatively small foot print! The image is vibrant, crisp and clear. I definitely do not find myself missing the LG OLED “wall paper” TV that I owned previously. My LSP9T unit blows away the performance of my LG OLED TV in all ways with the one exception of black levels (which is to be expected). I highly recommend this unit, as watching TV and movies at home will never be the same again! The Samsung LSP9T definitely delivers a true-to-life home cinema viewing experience, especially if paired with a high quality UST ambient light rejecting screen (I chose a 110” screen and it’s amazing).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UST Project with Class! My Premiere UST has a fantastic screen size 130" that fills my movie room for hours of enjoyment for my family. The color, contrast and brightness are all great and more importantly realistic. We use this for streaming services via 5 different providers via a fiber optic internet link. The set up was pretty straight forwarded but it take some trial and error on my part. I had to call in for support one time but the support group was very helpful. The only thing that I am trying to work around is a small amount of screen motion judder issues on some action movies. I am still trying to understand the picture advanced settings (and understand the streaming service limitations or the impact of the type of movie for example FPS content). Otherwise I am very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Does Matter Best Projector on the market! No need for extra cables or other devices! This is a true smart projector and only one that I know! The short throw is amazing, no more mounting on the ceiling or having it take up so much space. Super easy setup with the Vividstorm rising screen! I wish it was a little darker and not so washed out during the day, but I do have huge bay windows that let in a ton of light. I am getting them tinted. My favorite part is being able to show my art on the walls while not watching tv. I have never liked the TV to be the Center of the room! This solves that and gives me a movie theater at night’ The sound isn’t bad, similar to a TV speaker, and maybe a bit better. I will probably add a sound bar later. All and All I love it

I love the way that when something goes wrong with the product, there is always a way to quickly replace and/or repair it. I'm a 43 year old STILL VERY BUSY FULL TIME MOM. Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST WOW! Never buy a TV again! This projector is amazing. Very sharp and crisp display. I project it directly on a wall and the quality of display rivals an OLED TV. Screen size is massive and you do not lose any sharpness even when increased to 150 inches even though Samsung markets for a 130 inch or lower display. Colors are stunning. In built speakers and menu are decent quality. Adjustment on the projector is challenging as it can only be adjusted by 2 front feet (a gyroscope adjustment would have been ideal with in built 2D leveling mechanism). In this day and age and being a high end projector, auto adjustment and focus would have been ideal. Also recommend getting a separate atmos sound system such as sonos or bose arc, subwoofer and surrounds. I used sonos and elevated the sound quality ten fold. It would have also been ideal for samsung to bundle this with a fornell or ALR screen. Highly recommend this projector. You will not be disappointed one bit!

There is a lot to be said about its good features elsewhere but I want to list here the things that stop me from giving this product 5 stars: - when watching 4k video, any fast eye movement can trigger DLP Rainbow Effect. I definitely did not expect that from a laser system - when playing streams from a harddrive, the system regularly tells me that certain codecs are not supported, most annoying one is DTSHD audio support missing. - the provided internet browser is not able to stream web videos - playing something from an alternative source like odysee is not supported. - the close distance projection requires a seriously flat projection surface. My previous CRT projector (for long distance) has some 40 screen adjustment points and it is a Sony from the mid 90's that is better to adjust than this one. - because of angle, for a 130" wide screen in a normal high room (ca. 2.4m to the ceiling) the projector is standing on the floor for me, which is making it prone to be kicked or scratched during room cleaning and other activities. - the horizontal alignment is done using screw feet like with the cheapest projectors you can find in Aliexpress. In this price category I'd have expected something able to adjust itself automatically or with a remote that does not require me to lie on the floor. - Samsungs "smart" OS is very limiting on the applications you can run on it. I feel tempted to root this thing and install a plain Linux on it to make it fit my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All we hoped it would be!! we hated when our 2003 samsung dlp 56" rear projection hd tv failed 4 years ago. we were sorry that no one was making any good dlp projection equipment. our replacement set failed just before christmas. our son had a 2006 samsung 56 led dlp rear projection tv he had in storage. it looked great!! when i saw the add on the internet for the new samsung lsp9t 4k laser projector i was all over it. i ordered this new lsp9t the next day along with a wall mount 120" bright short throw screen. wow is an under statement!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it now! if you are looking for a living room tv replacement, ust laser projector, with incredible design, then just get this! i unplugged my old projector and streaming box, plugged the arc hdmi into my receiver, and was viewing stunning images on a cream wall. i don’t see any rainbow effects, but didn’t on my old dlp either. laser? yes! i am in 2020 finally! vivid colors, needs lowering of contrast, alr screen can only make this better, i don’t need one - i love the lightness. remote is supremely well designed. some early bugs (auto update not working, and bluetooth audio maxes vol between videos). so much more to write, limited by website - it’s magical!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad rainbow effect the sound quality of the projector is amazing for its size. however, it has a very vivid red color with nauseating sparkle effect. the worst part is the rainbow effect. i started getting headaches within about 10 to 15 minutes of watching a movie. now that i have had a few more hours on the projector over the course of a few days, the rainbow effect is probably a little less subtle-i am assuming that this is my brain tuning out the rainbow effect but i would expect a lot better from a projector in this price range. will likely return if i dont see any improvement with the rbe

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive! so i was pretty hesitant to drop that dollar amount into the unknown - claiming 4k results... that said, our family is very impressed. you will find it hard pressed to find flaw with the picture quality when paired with the ust screen (i am using the si screen option). i went 120" due to simple room capabilities and have not looked back. bb magnolia set everything up after exhaustive research related to room / screen height etc. we are having countless movie nights and havnt looked back since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ultra Short Throw overall, this projector is incredible. the picture is wonderful, the colors are vibrant, even in the day with the windows open. the brightness is like nothing i've ever seen. i agree with one other reviewer that samsung absolutely needs to have a brightness setting for the night. with all the lights off it's actually too bright. i was able to get around this by using netflix, hulu, etc. through my computer and adjust it that way. however, it would be much easier if the projector itself could do this. despite the brightness, i didn't notice any rainbow effect. wonderful product overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pixels going out, apps crashing, very pricey... I have had my LSP9T projector for about 2 years now and have had some issues that I cannot ignore. To start, for such an expensive price, it is lacking some key features such as hdmi splitting or a set of quality speakers with some decent range built in. My main issues are that The Projector will crash and freeze once the cache builds up too much, but the worst issue I have is every month it seems there is a new pixel that has gone out. At first it started with only one pixel going out after having the projector for less than a year and now my screen has at least 7 different white dots that you can't ignore because it looks like a starry night. The life of the projector does not seem to last long. I will likely be buying another brand for my next UST projector, which looks like it could be sooner than later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wavy screen we were super excited to get this projecote to replaxe our older sherp projector. went with the fancier model ($6,500). the sound is great and hookup is super easy. the picture quality is okay but the adjusting is where’s the problem. talking to their customer service team is pointless as they read from the manual to you and it’s hard to understand them. at this point this projector is worthless unless you don’t mind a bunch of waives on your screen. it’s been a complete waste of money and a huge hastle. i would not recomend this product to anyone. there are a lot of better options out there.

It is easy to install and definitely a good alternate, I found picture clarity in tv is far better than on projector also I am seeing curves if the image has any letters straight lines/ boxes .

The first one I returned within two weeks of owning, because a series of horizontal lines appeared that on the screen. I now have had my new projector that replaced the first one for less than 24 hours. As I was setting up and focusing, the focus stopped working. It is blurry, and the unit will not respond. I called Samsung for help, and someone is supposed to call me back from level two, but no one has. However, If it worked as intended, it would be an amazing product. I don't understand why there are so many glitches and problems.

I contacted Samsung as you directed, but, I was unable to connect with someone from "level 2" support to fix my problem. I provided my service ticket number, as I was told, originally, that the problem could be solved by having a "level 2" technician remote in to my unit for repair. Because I was unsuccessful in getting help, I will probably be returning this Premiere for a full refund. The service is terrible. Perhaps there should be a recall on this product, or a walk through in your manufacturing plants by upper management to ensure quality control of your products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous picture, audio problem and lacks support the color and sharpness of this projector is really good, even just using a bare wall as a screen. i'm certain it will be even better with a proper screen. my problem is the lack of support. three days after receiving the unit, the apps lost audio and it was really a challenge to get support. the support web page is incomplete and chat was of no help. i got hold of a nice support person and was able to open a ticket for a technician to come and look into the problem. for something that supposed to be a premium product, the current state of support isn't good enough. by the way, i suspect this issue is related to the latest firmware because i can hear the welcome sound but nothing else after that.

I love to watch movies on my Samsung TV, I can watch all day and when I get tired of watching TV, I start to play games, it's so many games to choose from, you won't get tired of playing them, before you know it, it will be time to go to bed. Me and my son play games all the time, he picks the ones he like and then I pick the ones I like and when it's time for him to go the bed ,I get to play any games I want by myself, and watch any movies I want. This is such a beautiful TV I look forward to coming home from work and sit back an relax and watch all my favorite shows. This is a great product for a TV Samsung is the one to get if you are looking for a great TV, I would recommend Samsung products to all of my family and friends, it's the number one product TV for me. Samsung is the best, take it from a TV lover shop for Samsung, believe me you got the right one Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW We watch all things video, but mostly movies. We have Satellite and Off-Air as well as internet streaming. Our first HD TV was a Samsung 56" DLP light bulb rear projection set. It was the best for HD back in 2003. After 10 years though it failed and we purchased a 70" 4K flat screen. At the time there was no large size DLP 4K sets to choose from at a price we could afford. When that set failed last December we had to find something new. Our son still had his 56" Samsung DLP LED rear projection set (he was between homes and was not using it) and we put it in our living room. Wow is all I can say. I had forgotten how great the DLP was or had gotten used to the Flat screen. Seeing this 12 year old DLP still looking great and only HD was amazing. I had seen on the internet that Samsung had come up with a new short throw projector. So I quickly researched it to see what it was about. It was just what i was looking for. We had been wanting to get a large picture size for some time but couldn't justify the cost as our flat screen was working. When it failed it was all on to find the best and largest picture. The 130" screen size was perfect for our living room. Some have said what's wrong with a 36" screen, no comment is all I can say. When purchased the new Samsung projector we purchased a 120" screen designed for Short throw projectors was ordered. It arrived the day before the projector. All of our view is unbelievable, like going to the theater only you don't drive

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another wonderful Samsung product! I originally purchased this particular Samsung projector for my son. He likes to use it to play his Fortnite game on. However, after seeing just how crystal clear the picture was, I immediately had to order myself another one. I also enjoy the fact that it is a rather small size and doesn't take up and overwhelming space on my cabinet area where it is placed. It's very light and weight so I don't have a problem toting it to another area in my house if I choose, unlike a TV is I am able to tote it around all I want and could definitely not do that with a tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall good i just had my first problem with it which i have a picture shown down below, there’s a white dot on the screen at all time while its on now and that just came about last week. it was such an inconvenience because i had to sent it out. i don’t know how long i will be out of my project but since it didn’t last me not even a year without any problem i’m very hesitant to keep it long term specially since the warranty is only for 2 years. For such an expensive project I was hoping i wouldn’t have to already be dealing with concerns

While the projector does display great picture, the product quality is terrible and Samsung will not stand behind this product. In less than 3 years, the projector has required repair 3 times for the exact same problem. White dots/frozen pixels. The first repair was about 15 months after purchase and was handled as an in-warranty repair (great!). The next repair was about 15 months later and was handled as an out of warranty repair costing $399 (unfortunate, but understood). 105 days later, the same problem again. Samsung states that this is simply another out of warranty repair for $399 (are you kidding me!). I escalated to a supervisor, but they are all reading form the same script, sorry, this is an out of warranty repair. Never mind that it's the same repair 3 times in less than 3 years for a product advertised to have a 20,000 hour life. Don't purchase this product if you hope it will last.
