Samsung interface is nice. Makes it easy to select between apps. Dark colors come out very nice and pop although not OLED does not come across all that bad TV itself is very thin. New solar motors, very nice easy to charge an overall very useful.

Streaming from the apps are less stable than using the same apps streaming from a FireStick but the picture is better through the TV apps, so I use them anyway. I wish the remote had a few more button selections. The remote is way oversimplified and you have to push the same buttons repeatedly to get to where you want and to get back out. I am actively searching the web for an alternate remote to purchase. It is that bad. I am VERY HAPPY with this TV's picture and available adjustments and how it remembers your settings from ALL sources.

The dynamics of each setting available is second to none. Watching movies with this Gem is a phenomenal experience. And yes, I’m including the sound as well. Other renditions struggle to reach the level of these, because of their unwillingness to go beyond a less than modest budget. Samsung, it looks like you will continue to be the leader in this industry for a while to come yet..

However, big problem with Content Protection Governor. This comes on and just drive me crazy. Murphy's law of course it only happens when it's a live game or something I really care about. Don't watch much TV, and just not sure why this ever comes on or is even in there. I purchased an HDMI TV and I'm only going to use HDMI cables. Why is there a message in there to switch to component cables?? Please let me know how to remove the restricting parameter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color is Beautiful! I love the tv the color is beautiful. It is easy to navigate and figure out. The sound is great and is by far everyone's favorite tv in the house. My only problem is the remote is ultra sensitive. There is limited buttons on the remote, which is nice. However, if you accidently bump it, it will change the channel quickly on you. Often turning off the tv. The other issue is the tv does disconnect from the internet often. You have to restart the whole tv to get it back on. I wish when you close out a streaming app, it would close all the way instead of having to go through each app and finding the exit button. That is more of a software issue.

The 4K LED picture is very crisp, the sound is bright and clear and the variety of customization makes this a unique user experience. I enjoy the smart tv experience thoroughly with voice command, Samsung Plus TV app, as well as full access to all streaming technology, and very easy to use. The tv itself is fairly light weight for the 65" model that I purchased and was able to get it setup on my own. Very satisfied customer overall.

HDR content looks superb thanks to its high peak brightness and exceptional color gamut. It also has an exceptional viewing angle, so you can enjoy an accurate image from any angle, making it amazing for watching sports or TV shows. Sadly, it uses an extremely uncommon pixel layout that results in noticeable color fringing and blurry text, so it's not well-suited for productivity use as a PC monitor. It's also best suited for completely dark rooms, as it has raised blacks in a room with any ambient lighting, and the screen has a pink tint to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung - simply the BEST!!! When entering a nearby big box store with TV's mounted 100 feet away on their back wall, you can tell which is a Samsung at the front door! It is the clearest even at that distance. Comparing models up close at an electronic, or smaller store that has multiple brands and models, Samsung still appears as the sharpest. The features are amazing including Samsung TV Plus. I have cable but there are some channels I don't get that are available to me now through this feature. This is my second Samsung 65" TV and I bought it 6 months ago. The other one is from the fall of 2016 and in another room. Both are used daily. We don't game on the TV. We watch programming through the cable as well as streaming from other platforms. We are well pleased with the TV in every way.

Setup was very simple as well, and it integrated perfectly with our Dish. One small issue that I have is the red coloring. Most reds are a little too much. Some shows even have skin tone as too red. This may just be a setting that I need to adjust, but I have not had a chance to do much fine-tuning yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV of the future This TV was bought to replace an older set that stopped working. It was my first foray into the world of 4K, and I'm hooked! I was expecting great things, but what I got was more than I expected. Setting the set up was not a challenge for me. I'm fairly tech savvy so figuring out how to program the thing was not a problem. Since I already had digital cable, I connected the set, via HDMI, to the cable box. It immediately rewarded me with a great HD picture, but the smart features were my first introduction to 4K, through YouTube. The later addition of a 4K blu-ray player proceeded to knock my socks off. This set really rules! The local dimming feature allowed for true blacks where called for. Needless to say, the contrast ratio of this set is astronomical. Finally, the main feature is the stunning picture. It's bright, clear, and there's no glare! This was the best TV purchase I ever made, and just backs up why Samsung is, and will remain, my go-to brand when I need a set. I couldn't be happier. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Samsung deliberately removed support of it from the new models. I'll return that useless TV and buy something NOT samsung, that will be able to work with all audio formats.

My criteria are more about good picture quality and convenience than the latest technologies in high resolution. Upon multiple visits to retail stores and screen comparisons, I noticed that the 4K QLED series provided far clearer wide viewing angles than more economical models, so this was the main feature that gravitated me to the specific series. I then simply selected the screen size I needed and went for a local retail store purchase. My previous TV was from an online retailer, arrived with minor damage, and was too much of a hassle replacing it; hence my purchasing preference this time around. Trying out the device and its settings was quite a task, albeit a pleasant one. Nowadays, TVs come with a wealth of setup and connectivity options. It sort of made things a bit easier that I have a Samung phone, where the Samsung ecosystem appeared to make all cross-device introductions and tasks seamless. I have to point out, though, that users are in for a somewhat lengthy set-up process; possibly unnecessary--it's just a TV, when all is said and done. Furthermore, I cannot speak from the user experience perspective of an owner with no Samsung, or at least Android, devices to assist in the set-up process. Menus are very detailed, and everything worked clockwise when connected to a web network. The only snag I came across was inability to switch across Samsung TV Plus channels (no problem on my phone app). Great device overall.

Shows with animals look and sound so realistic my dog watches the tv and thinks they are real. I am always cleaning nose prints off the screen as he tries to touch them. The screen looks like actual people on screen instead of an image...simply amazing. Watching sports is awesome as there is no ghosting or blurry artifacts. A great all around tv for the price.

Very fast response time whether I'm on Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, or sending it through my laptop. I absolutely love it and bought the 75" version for my Great Room. All my tvs are Samsung, I have tried others, but nothing matches the quality I get from the QN85s.

Seems like we found a forum that it is a known issue. WHY not fix it? 2) Just try to find where you can flush the cash on an individual App. Our HULU app gets messed up ever once and a while. Then you have to go somewhere to finally access the App. Every time it happens it is adventure to figure out how to get there. WHY not make it easy?

I compared this TV tonother Brands Oled and noticed a better over all pictures on Oled tv. Features and other designs were fairly equal.

Great for local TV via outdoor antenna. Great for live sports action. Great for streaming. Comes with Samsung TV and other streaming services. Easy to add other streaming services. Picture is GREAT!

Occasionally the streaming services are slow on the Take due to some of the ISP difficulties. The picture is good, but I always want to try to manipulate the settings in different ways. I’ve never seen a TV picture like this one, it’s like having our own theater in our living room. Sound is excellent, smart TV control and included apps are great for streaming. Best TV I’ve ever owned.

I couldn't ask for a better user experience very easy to setup. Samsung is number one when it comes to displays and they haven't let people down with this one either definitely recommend to friends and family..

Everything you need can be found with the small solar remote. Adding apps, which I as a non techie have done, is so easy and finding what you are looking for is a breeze. I can talk to the remote to change channels and if I have a problem the e-manual is right on the tv all you have to do is look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV I've ever owned I mainly watch cable TV and stream on this TV. The picture quality is the best. Has wonderful depth of field and vivid colors. It has the solar rechargeable remote and a simple interface. The sound quality is good but that is probably the weakest part of the TV but a sound bar resolves that issue. My non-techie wife who never comments on most of my tech purchases loves the picture quality especially when there are nature type shows with high def images that come alive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TV I have a house full of Samsung appliances and this TV is like all the others...just superb. Picture and sound are incredibly crisp and clear. I have only one minor gripe. I have my Samsung soundbar connected to my Samsung TV and from time to time when powering on, the soundbar and TV don't like each other and the result is a very loud beeeeep. Sounds like the beep that is used to cover swearing on TV except it is constant and insanely loud. I would say it happens a few times a month. Not a huge deal but annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beyond Excellent Picture Quality this tv rocks. this samsung tv is the brightest, thinest, most beautiful picturesque quality that i have ever owned. the set up was super easy. it included a 4 step process that was self explantory. evn your grandmother could do it. this smart tv came with your choice of voice assistant (siri, google, and or alexa) it was also controllable through your smart phone. i have never had a tv with all of these modes to control it. the tv’s aesthetic presence is outstanding. you can choose to have live art if you leave the tv off but on picture mode.

Love the quality picture and the ease of connecting audio and other accessories. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the remote is awful. It requires far too many steps to perform even simple tasks.

I regard that as a nearly irredeemable flaw in an otherwise wonderful TV. I have an older but very high end audio system and I would like be able to disable the internal speakers and feed the audio from the TV (via a DAC) to my stereo and still have the TV's remote control the TV audio's volume. Surely this would be a comparatively minor software tweak, given as the audio is still a data stream as it exits the set over the optical interface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright TV. Better than normal LED. Weak Build. I bought this QN85B TV 1.5 months back. Brightness is really good and suitable for bright Living Room. Better than normal LED. Good to buy during any promotional offers to get better value for price. If you want to enjoy the sharp clarity of the TV they you have to watch it with higher brightness. The Build Quality is average specifically the Mount Stand and panel. Weak and shaky. The shadow areas in any video are not much showing details, atleast in average Brightness conditions. Had Network issues so not able to cast video to TV from Mobile. Reached out to multiple customer support people for past 1 month. Everyone suggested and did reset of TV almost 5 to 7 times and still issue not resolved. Got tired of reaching them back. They said issue could be due to Internet provider but same Internet works fine to cast Video in Google Chromecast and Android box etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV ever Only had about a month or so, but absolutely love this television. Nicest TV we have ever had. Everything in Samsung's advertising about this unit has been true. Even bought Samsungs soundbar system to take advantage of orchestra styled sound features. This thing is incredible to me. Strongly recommend the same setup for anyone. Need sight and sound for a great experience.
