I am loving some of the features that come with the Samsung Neo QLED 8k. I have recommended this TV to many friends and they all have had positive feedback so far. My only regret is that I wished I had bought it sooner.

Darker movies come out looking like they should. The game mode makes playing my PS4 seemless. The remote control is truly universal. All of the setup and especially SmartThings is flawless. I use ambient mode when I'm conversing with friends. Bluetooth connectivity to the TV to play music stored ony phone brings up these artistic, dancing objects that come to life. This TV is everything I wanted and so much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QN800A SOUND ISSUES i bought a qn65qn800a tv last november or december. since day one i had sound issues with distorted sounding bass and what sounds like rattling plastic or metal. i have had 5 service quick techs out in the last 9 months. they have replaced speakers, mainboard and checked all settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from And I was really excited. so i was extremely excited to get my 1st 8ktv. but it seems the processor just isn't up for the job 100% of the time. i know they have an upgraded processor in the qn900a ,i wonder if that would make much of a difference i think that might just be for hdr. don't get me wrong the 8k looks amazing looks when it's focused in and not alot going on in the screen. if their is the sceen starts to get glitchy.also my tv has froze up 3 times since i got it last week. only when watching true 8k concent. all the upscaling seems fine 4k looks really good on netflix no slow down problems there even with the upscaling. if anybody knows if the better processor in the qn900a is an improvement over the qn800a, please let me know. i might have to say i should of bought the qn900a?

The ability to remotely locate the receiver box in a great feature and Interfacing to a world of either Wi-Fi or BT devices is extremely easy. Lastly, the installed menu driven APPS made it very easy to setup various streaming services. Oh, thanks for the built in eManual too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV picture ok but other issues/defects 23 issued. *Video switching on its own sporadically *When powered on TV switches to the music wall every time. *TV Ethernet connected notice in whit box comes up in top right corner intermittently. *TV Blacks out for about 2secs and come back on. 8k Upscale feature is disappointing. Can’t tell a true difference from HD, 4K, or 8K. Some upscale efforts are horrible

Sound could be better like my Q80T so I recommend a soundbar for this one. Lots of features to try. Can’t wait for more 8K content to available like gaming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV is amazing just a few hiccups. TV works great for any and all activities, I use mine for gaming on the XBOX Series X and watch all of my streaming apps through it as well. The only complaint I have is every once and a while the One Connect Hub that the TV comes with and forces you to use does not recognize devices, it is an easy fix of either unplugging the power to the hub or HDMI and just plug back in, it's just frustrating because the TV is amazing aside from that.

Overall I love this TV, I love that all HDMI ports are 2.1, I love Q sympathy when paired with our q950A sound bar system.. I love the TVs native OS! The only issue we are having is every once in a while it seems to lose its handshake with the one connect box, this isn’t specific to any HDMI port, all devices seem to lose their handshake intermittently/briefly from time to time. Usually only last about 1 to 3 seconds but when everything kicks back in lip-synch seems to be off sometimes.. This is happening across all devices, cable box, new Apple TV, Samsung 4K Blu-ray player.. So I think it might be a firmware issue maybe?!? I keep checking for firmware updates on the TV and on the q950a and still says I have the most recent updates on both.. So hopefully one will come soon that will correct the issue, other than that I love both my QN800A and my QN950A!

The color and contrast are amazing, even though there is some very slight blooming around objects against a pure black background. I'll gladly trade that for the higher brightness and antiglare though because they combat the light in my room perfectly! I'm so glad I got this TV, it's a gorgeous picture. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful Quality Control i was super excited to go back to lcd tvs after having issues with my oled tv tjis year. unfortunately, this is definitely not the one. i ordered this tv from sams club. it arrived in good shape, without any damage to the box. but, the panel on the tv was broken, it had issues with one row of led zones that was dead. okay, it happens i thought. sent it hack. ordered a new one from a different store. it arrived again perfect. until i turned it on. on bright pictures you can see the entire led grid on the panel. literally every separate led. getting two bad panels within 2 weeks is just ridiculous in my mind for a second most expensive 65 inch tv samsung makes. terrible quality control. definitely will stay away from samsung in general next time. its back to oled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Great TV! this tv has far superior sound and especially when paired with a samsung atmos soundbar so you can get the whole q symphony experience. the picture is great although there is no 8k content available right now to actually test out that aspect of the tv. the picture definitely isnt as good as the lg nor is it as bright but its not a big enough of a difference to really matter. it does get oddly hot which the lg never does and it does do random weird interruptions in connections to the soundbar and apps. the game mode is also annoying, you shut it off but the tv will automatically switch it back on at times even though you dont want it to. overall a good tv and a good value when paired with the soundbar but if you just are going for picture and quality then stick with lg c1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Check TVs for damage ordered 2 (two) qn800as and due to covid, was not able to install the tvs until installer was available several months later. one of the tvs had rainbow lines vertically when turned on, and closer look shows glass crack from inside behind screen-not apparent if tv not turned on. since the other tv was fine, we presumed it was shipping damage. samsung would not service the defective tv or will warrantee damaged tv (even though this was not customer fault). when i asked if i have any options, they didn't offer anything as tv is considered a total loss. inspect your tvs within 15 day grace period or you may face the same outcome of no support and no repair from samsung

Peak brightness and contras is definitely much higher than my previous tv so all hdr and non hdr have a great balanced contrast from peak bright highlights to dark details. Definitely had to adjust the picture out of the box to get to a level to my liking. Color of very nice on this tv. I use the natural picture setting and tweak some things but the color range is nice and vibrant. me streaming everything and gaming occasionally i been having a great time with this television

I use my television for streaming and gaming, and enjoy how it has a gaming mode to make sure I always have a crisp, clean picture at 60 fps on First Person Shooter games that require that extra detail. The video quality while streaming is also great, the vibrant colors and deep blacks make watching movies all the more enjoyable. My kids watch animated movies and the colors just pop off the screen. I also enjoy streaming with Samsung tv plus, the app came pre-installed with my television and had a wide variety of choices and programming to choose from.

In terms of usability, I like the way I can chose the different apps on the tv. In short the usage of the TV is very intuitive, kudos to Samsung for that. The only thing I see is not so good is a noise in the image whenever there is movement on the image.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of use I love how easy it is to hookup and setup on this TV I have a xbox series x and xfinity and they able to be controlled by the remote that came with TV very very nice and the intelli settings are awesome takes the guess work out of picture and sound and of course the picture is amazing especially with 4k hdr haven't been able to locate anything in 8k yet bet can't wait love this TV and Samsung. I have the note 20 ultra and earpods and soundbar that integrate nicely with no fuse....good job Samsung!

I upgraded from a 10-year-old plasma tv so my experience with the 65” QN800A Samsung Neo QLED TV has been awesome. Amazing picture quality, the remote control is very chic, love the brightness. Please check the pictures I attached. Highly impressed with new features that are innovative and convenient for gaming. Such as multi-view and the auto-detect GameMode. The sound quality is perfect and I don't need to get a soundbar. The audio is smart and it is automatically adjusted based on the scene. In addition to hardware, the new design is really smart that doesn't need any extension. You can easily AirPlay your phone on TV, or watch any of the TV apps of your interest. Samsung TV is another benefit of this TV that you can watch several channels for free. Another feature that also made me really happy is that this large TV has a centered stand, which lets you fit it on any TV stand. I highly recommended it to all my family friends

Starting with the design, this tv is slender with only a 0.7" width it is the first truly flat tv monitor I've ever seen. There is barely a bezel and what bezel is there is where the sound terminated from. It is such a simple yet elegant design that will look amazing in any room. Samsung has outdone itself with the design. The TV is able to be so thin and flat because the components, hookups, and power are all external in the One Connect which attaches with a single very thin wire. It's an engineering marvel and quite an accomplishment to send all the signals and power through a wire that is not even a 1/4" in circumference! This feature alone makes the TV worth purchasing as it allows the Samsung QN800A to hang on a wall and all your devices can be in a cabinet with just a single wire to the TV. This is perfect for those of us that want to keep everything neat and hide away all the clutter and mess of wires. Once you turn on the TV you will notice the picture quality and brightness, everything is sharp and vibrant and what you would expect from 8K. I didn't have any 8K content to test but it seems to upscale the content very well and 4K content looks mesmerizing. The TV remote is small and simple to use with an interface that is intuitive to use and works well. I really liked the Samsung TV Plus which provides a bunch of live TV channels and is the answer for the cord-cutters out there. The content is great and I feel like it's a perfect replacement to cable or satellite programming and the future.. It even comes with a Guide so you can pick and choose what you want to watch easily. The Multiview feature is really interesting, you can watch multiple programs at a time and switch which audio you listen to while watching multiple shows. It will make Football season even better. Also with the Smart Things integration, all my other Samsung devices like the Powerbot vacuum and washer and dryer show up and are available, it is the hub for a truly smart home! Samsung has done an amazing job and at the top of their game. This is the best TV I've ever experienced and the features technology, and style just can't be beaten.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an awesome upgrade! I had the 2020 model of this tv that needed service and the part was unavailable so Samsung offered me to upgrade to the 2021 model. I just had to pay the difference. This tv was on sale at the time and it only cost me a few 100$ more to upgrade. I am elated that I took them up on the offer. The new neo model is so much better than the 2020 model. It has the one connect box and all 4 hdmi inputs are 2.1 and has a 32x hdr instead of 16x. It also has the speaker all the way around the tv and seems to be built better as well. Thank you so much for the great customer service!

I used the SmartThings app from Samsung and hooking up everything was simple. After a few minutes I powered her up and was just floored. Big, beautiful display. I'm buying a new stereo to join this up and know that I'm future proofed (until next year). As for what we watch, we watch everything. I love the HDR on Netflix and the new animated movies look gorgeous. Sports on this big beast are awesome to watch (hook 'em). Playing the new Ratchet & Clank on the PS5 is like playing a Pixar game. The TV comes with brightness set all the way up, you're going to want to turn that down. Seriously, it was like staring at the sun. This is normal so just make the tweak to what looks good for you and yours. I really don't know what else to say. Get it already.

All of my gaming consoles look and feel amazing. It is very refreshing to have this TV that has no input or video formatting issues. Be it switching gaming console inputs or surfing my apps everything runs seamlessly. The app setup and organization is helpful, keeping my most used apps ready to launch. The Samsung TV Plus feature was a cool surprise. Live free TV and endless OnDemand options easily watched with any internet connection. Overall I have been please with this unit. Setup was simple and the connection hub routing all my connection is great. I have my hub on lower shelf in TV stand near all my devices and tv on top shelf and it helps with wire clutter for sure.

For the most part, the Samsung QN800A QLED is ideal.  It's an excellent choice for use in bright rooms, such as when watching television or sports, because it's bright enough to combat glare and has excellent reflection handling.  It includes excellent gaming features such as VRR technology and HDMI 2.1 support.  It also has a short response time and very low input lag.

I downloaded the smarthings app which is free to download to be able to put pictures from my phone onto the tv. It displays up to 50 pictures on the tv. I uploaded them from phone and it displayed them one at a time changing the picture about every 20 seconds(The picture below is of my husband and son roasting marshmallows over the fire is one of the personalized pictures I sent to the tv). While in the smartThings app you have to sign up or sign in with your samsung login. Then it finds your tv easily through your wifi connection. From there every time you open the app your tv will be displayed then you just click on your tv. From there it app allows you to use it as a remote, to change from artwork or personal pictures in ambient mode, switch between apps, and universal guide showing you tv and movie recommendations. Watching the latest movies on this is beautiful. This is the 4k120hz screen I have been waiting for. Zero connection or display errors which you will find on other brands. The simple console connection design makes input connections easy. I love that the remote is solar charged so no batteries! The hub box works awesome to keep all the wires that you hook up to the tv out of the way so it doesn't look so messy. I also went under my iphone settings and bluetooth and found the tv. I clicked on it and connected it to my tv which was listed. This allowed me to play music from my phone right on the tv easily! It plays a background display while music plays or you can make the music box smaller at the top screen while you do other stuff on the tv as well. I also like you can add apps and rearrange them according to how you use them. We use our tv for gaming, streaming from phone, watching movies/tv, etc. Everything looks so good on it!

The picture quality is superb. The bright colors are gorgeous and vivid. I watched an 8k video on youtube and I was truly mesmerized . I can not wait for more 8k content to be available. I am really enjoying watching soccer games on my new tv. The response of the tv is fast. The scenes are like no other tv I have had. The design is sleek and modern yet impressive. Samsung truly out did themselves with the one connect box, no messy cables. Perhaps one of my favorite features is the rechargeable remote control. You can either charge it via usb or solar I am glad Samsung is thinking of ways to take care of our planet. The object tracking sound is good, can't wait to get a sound bar to enhance it. Samsung truly outdid themselves with this tv all the apps included are great plus it has lots of features such as multi view, Samsung health, Alexa, goggle assistant and much more. Overall this tv is amazing I did however experience some blooming which to me was minor as it was only on a couple of scenes. I would recommend this tv for anyone looking for a new tv.

Colors are so much brighter and more vibrant. When we watch shows we have seen before the video looks more like live images or you are looking through a window. The TV sound is excellent. We had a mid-range audio bar but my husband and I like the sound of the TV better than the sound bar , nice surprise. It actually fills the room with a near multi-speaker theater sound experience. The remote control is very chic, I attached the pic of remote to this review. The more interesting part of this remote control is solar cell panel at the back of it. It is so smart. The TV includes a free Samsung TV app with its own live channels and movies. Apps are conveniently lined up in a row, and they have almost every app I could want. The new design is really smart that doesn't need any extension directly to the TV. It is easy to cast videos from my phone or laptop. It has enough ports for all of my devices. Moreover, it has new features such as multi-view and the auto-detect game mode that are innovative and convenient for gaming. Another feature that also made us really happy is that this large TV has a centered stand, which lets you fit it on any TV stand. Then we don't need to get a new TV stand. I posted several pics and video to share my experience with you. Also, we are waiting to receive the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine, then we may ask our friends to come and watch movie with our exciting TV.

Can't wait for 8k content to be more vastly available. The difference between 4k to 8k is not huge but it is noticeable. The 8k content looks amazing and so does 4k upscale.I really like all the features it has Samsung TV plus, object tracking sound and the infinity one design is superb. The bezel is barely noticeable which is great I like the simplistic minimal design. Not to mention no more messy cords with the one connect box. The response when navigating the apps is fast no lagging at all the Samsung smart system is very responsive. I like that the remote can either be charged via USB or solar I do however wish it was back-lit. The anti reflective screen is amazing. No more fighting for the perfect spot on the couch the movies look great from any angle. The only negative is my sound bar is not compatible however I'm looking forward to adding a q symphony one. I really cool feature I like is Samsung Health is built in. You simply connect a webcam to the TV to workout at home and join fitness classes without buying a dedicated device. No more gym membership. My family and I really love our TV and I'm sure everyone who gets one will love it too, highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome picture but... let me start out with the picture. the picture is top notch, but why the 1 star... i just came from a 65" q800t series qled 8k tv that was a total nightmare, so many problems with that model (check the forums before you buy) and they actually bought the tv back from and and gave me a refund to purchase this neo qled tv. now this thing has a major issue and its with sound. the sound just goes out or it makes what sounds like ticking noises and have to keep changing the sound from auto to pass-through then to pcm and back to auto for the sound to come back on. this is insane coming from 2 of the most top of the line tv's they make. also while checking the forums other people are having the same issues.

Apps tend to get stuck, but I don't think that is Samsung's fault. The major problem I have is I can't find a UHD player to work on it other than a 4 year old one. The image quality and contrast are so impressive, that it's hard to believe it's real. I've had to play some scenes back again in order to follow the story because I get loss in such a beautiful picture. When I play on my PlayStation 4 pro, I feel like I'm playing on another console ps5 maybe? The upgrade it gives from the previous TV, differences between smoothness and contrast as well new details that couldn't be seen before. Now are part of every graphic scene. And the separate connection box is the winner here. This was one of the reasons I missed last year model because it was missing the box. Now with several ports and since I have many thing connected, It's a win win situation for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung 8K TV overheating with wall-mounting. About 2 years after purchase of the 55" 8K TV, the entire wall-mounted system blue-screened (died!) from over-heating / meltdown due to a lack of an adequate heat-sink on the QLED 8K model. Samsung refused to extend any coverage, credit or discount on a relatively recent repurchase, since the 1-year parts warranty had expired, even though the lack of a suitable heat-sink was a Samsung caused deficiency on such brightly (thus hotly) operating Samsung wall-mounted 8K systems. Therefore, avoid such Samsung 8K TVs.
