All the included apps and added apps make our viewing enjoyable. The use and ease of this model has enabled us to cut our cable bill almost in half! The sound quality is great without the sound bar!

Oh, and worth mentioning set-up was a breeze. I have had experience when setting up something “smart” that I had to be a rocket scientist to get the product set up right… Not the case with Samsung and the easy to use remote.

I prefer the Roku to the smart TV feature as it's easier to use with my surround sound system. With the excellent quality of the picture when streaming in 4K and with my surround sound system i have a theater like experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV next to OLED you can find I started with a Samsung 7000 series about a year ago, I liked it, but it was a little too small and the screen was not bright enough for my well lit room, I ended up trading it in for a Q60B 60” inch which was way better But was having some screen issues weird lights appearing on screen. I decided I would give Samsung one more try so, after I exchanged that one I finally got the Q80B and what an amazing TV beyond excellent picture, colors are in are intense and very vivid, blacks are black, whites are glowing, bright white, and it’s definitely a lot brighter than the 7000 series, even though this was more than I originally planned on spending I have no regrets this TV is amazing and the 65” looks perfect in my room. Glad I went bigger. Amazing machine 4K documentary’s are just WOW!

The audio quality has been outstanding. I've held off on buying the soundbar for some time now. The adaptive display could've been slightly better. I'm sure as time progresses, it'll get better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Superb Upgrade I use this model in my media room. Its main use is gaming but also heavily used for watching tv. I love the Samsung Tv features. I have a digital antenna installed in the attic for local channels and it seamlessly groups both the local antenna channels and the Samsung TV channels into the guide without having to change inputs. The slim profile make it a dream for mounting against the wall or having on a thin TV stand against the wall. The cable management system is build directly into the Tv frame. Overall I am loving this television, I’m not even sure if television is an appropriate description anymore. It’s really more of an all in one media center. Oh, and one last thing, ambient mode. If you don’t have or use this feature you definitely should look into it. It’s great for when I just want some background sound for reading or listening to music on my home audio system. Plus the tv can do anything from looking like an awesome piece of art, update me on the current weather conditions or even be used interactively with the smart things application. It’s no wonder Samsung stays on top of the television sales market. They think about what functionality consumers would want before we realize it.

And the speakers on this tv are the best speakers I have ever heard from a built in speaker. I also bought it for gaming and the 120Hz. I will get a stutters leggy motion while useing more often than I would like.it wouldn't deter me from getting another samsung tv just often has me checking to see if it is an update issue

I love how bright the TV is when I'm watching movies in a low light setting, I love how the TV isn't reflective so light doesn't affect my viewing. I loved how my TV automatically detected my samsung soundbar system and synced it all without having to do it myself. And I love how it detected all my samsung devices, my phone, computer, and tablet, and it asks if I want to connect my devices for streaming which I do to watch sports since i don't have cable. I am in love with the resolution and the sharpness I get from my TV. I absolutely love samsung and what they have to offer for their tech

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV - Easy Setup We ordered this TV and the setup was simple. So far (we have had a little over one month now) the picture quality, sound and operation are mostly outstanding. The Samsung live TV Feature is great, with numerous shows, sports and movies to choose from. The only reason I gave this TV four stars was because of the following: 1. Remote ControL: Yes it works, but it is so small (and thus the controls are tiny), it can be a bit difficult to operate, especially if you have large hands or long fingernails. Some toggles have multiple functions and thus its easy to get the wrong selection. No problem if you have a cable service remote, but we "cut the cord", so this remote will need to be replaced with a larger (more user friendly) universal remote. My advice to the design engineers is that just because you can make things smaller and incorporate numerous functions on a toggle, doesn't mean that's the best option. 2. Recording Function: As we no longer have cable, we wanted to use the recording function to record certain shows off live TV (Antenna). Unfortunately this feature (which does exist on the TV), isn't activated for US and Canadian TV's? That's a big dissapointment. Overall a great TV - a little heavier than some, but no issue getting it up and running to include mounting on the wall. Would I select this or a similar Samsung TV in the future, yes I would!

The tv comes with many different settings as far as audio and video but I was most surprised with the intelligent mode. When selected, the tv adjusts itself no only to the movie, show or game that you are playing but also adjusts itself to the brightness of the room!! If you use this tv to play video games, as I do every day after work, it has a game mode which it noticeably adjusts itself for to enhance the entire experience. I would, and have recommend this tv to anyone looking for the ultimate all around viewing experience!!

My only downside to the tv is there is a slight delay when swapping apps, but its nothing that would make or break my purchase. I do plan on getting another one. The tv audio is very nice and I find myself not using my surround sound for that reason.

The quality is good enough that you can still see the screen even in high light. You can easy switch light settings around though. Sound it great. I love that it will search all the apps you have when looking for a show and prompts you on the Home Screen for new releases in different apps. It’s just much easier to navigate than the Roku I had before. Installation was easy. It also comes with a bunch of free cable channels which is awesome. I live alone and assembled it myself and then just needed some help lifting it up to the console table.

I’m sure there are bigger and better tvs out there, but it’s the best one we’ve ever owned, we like it so much we got one for my parents and they also love it. The tv has options, which I don’t remember what it’s called, but it almost looks life like/3 D like (but not), it’s a really nice tv and we recommend it.

The sound on this TV is very very disappointing, the speakers are to the rear I was told they bounce off the wall so you can hear it, nope. The apps I have now are lagging with the voices. From what I’m seeing that is a well know problem and it has not been corrected. Paying as much as I did for the TV, the sound, picture and sync should be nothing less than perfect. Had I found and read about this issue beforehand I would have chosen a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brand new TV with nonfunctional remote control. purchased brand new tv. everything from order to delivery perfect. however remote control not working. not charging. took 6 attempts and about an hour to reach technical team. advise remote needs to be replaced. trqnsfered to another team. told to wait 10-20 business days for a replacemwnt remote. long story short- spent $1,000s for a brand new tv that can not be used only for a faulty remote!!! extremely disappointed.

The motion rate and the resolution of the picture quality stands far above other models. I have 2 televisions in my living room for the football season and there isn't a comparison between my Samsung QLED and the other "major" brand. Will be a Samsung QLED customer for a long, long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV has great Sound and Picture quality Great TV for a wide range of usages. This Samsung Q8 can produce deep and uniform dark scenes when viewed in a dark room. Local dimming is also decent at reducing blooming and producing bright highlights. Motion handling is great, and the response time is fast so motion is clear. It isn't perfect though, as the image loses accuracy when viewed at an angle and some dirty screen is visible, especially when watching sports. Have an amazing Sound system and didn't even bothered to buy a separate Sound bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great TV without the OLED price The TV is mainly used for streaming content from Disney+, Netflix, Prime…etc. we also watch a lot of Blu Ray movies. The picture is great and I have no complaints there. The only issue you may run into is that some apps are not available to Samsung and you might need to buy a firestick. But I think this is an issue for all TV brands. This TV does offer more apps than the LG…such as ESPN, FOX sports etc. but it still can’t get Bally Sports.

I love watching youtube videos especially the live Webcams in the rainforest or visitng the beach scenes with the beautiful blue water and listening to the waves crash. My wall is mostly windows so I opted for the qled and im very happy I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Delivers Again I wanted to upgrade my older Samsung Led TV which was absolutely amazing. I decided to give the Q80 a shot and I'm glad I did. The colors are vibrant, the black levels are better than the older TV and the sound is where I saw the biggest improvement. Moving to the software. The new chipset allows for smooth scrolling and the TV receives updates regularly. I highly recommend!

This model will not play avi and has no support or update to have it play them. A newer tv with leas support, tisk tisk. Otherwise it is a nice tv.

Saturation is specifically configured with special screen to put you in a world that is different, world you never seen before. It makes difference, people tired of just non bright colors and life- this tv at least changes this when it is on.

What is especially impressive is how well it does the dark colors all the way to deep blacks. I thought I would have to buy a OLED to get that result. There is nothing you want your TV to do that this set doesn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted an ideal TV for gaming I bought this TV as a treat to myself. I wanted a TV that would make my gaming and streaming look great. I looked at the reviews and decided this was the best choice. And I was not disappointed. Everything looks great on it. The upscaling makes all the difference as well. When playing a game on another TV I can already tell it doesnt look as good. I plan on using this TV for years. My only complaint would be that the remote is overly simplistic and has sensitive buttons.

The TV has an excellent quality and it is rich in features, the picture quality is incredible for this price point. 100% must buy.

It's entertainment value is well worth the price. The size let's you see everything with such clarity you would swear you were there. Going from a 7 series 50 inch to this TV has been one of the best upgrades I could've done as the picture is amazing and it's just an amazing tv overall. I play an Xbox on this TV and the refresh rate and FPS are amazing. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really useful for our family We read or consume content my wife or I cast to the TV from our phones with our children, this is usually scriptures, nightly stoties, or lesson material.Hers is a an iPhone, mine is an Android. We consume all of our streaming services i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Paramount+, Disney+, Youtube, Spotify, and Amazon Prime. We also have a digital antenna that we use to watch live TV. I have it set up to display calendar notifications from my calendar. We have all of our consoles attached and play games on it daily. We have a sound bar attched for better sound clarity. The built in speakers are fine but our room setup causes the sound to go the adjacent room. The features we like the most are the ability to cast from other devices to the TV. It can be a super easy way to share content.

I use it for many streaming services including YouTube, Hulu and Netflix and the picture quality is almost intense. It is by far the best TV I have purchase, and I have had a few TVs in my time.

There are a lot of options and for the most part it is efficient but I do think navigation could be improved. The multiple applications and Samsung TV can take long to select, typing is odd with how fast it will zoom the key selection zips across the keyboard. A lot of times I'll accidentally select the wrong app, key, etc. because of this making it less efficient. This is something I've gotten used to so I can navigate it well but for others who use my TV they notice and comment so it reminds me of my first experiences with the TV. Besides that, the picture quality, sound quality, and physical appearance of the TV have been great. Set up was a breeze. I would rate 4 of 5 stars and would get another TV since I am used to it's navigation now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Gaming TV i bought this to upgrade an older 4k tv. right off the bat i was amazed by the tv. setup was super fast and easy with my phone. it found and paired the tv remote with all my devices automatically. colors are bright and vivid. darks are dark. gaming on this tv is very responsive. i've never experienced gaming so smoothly before. amazing tv!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Has the Leading Apps i ordered the smart tv recently. what sold me on this item (smart tv 2022) is that it is compatible with xbox gaming (120 hz & app). i wasn't even thinking of a new tv until i received an e-mail from microsoft xbox about the new samsung 2022 smart models. this product has so many useful features & apps over other leading brands. i would like to add, the design/appearance in general is pleasing on the eyes; simplistic, clean & modern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glitchy Software The picture is great, and when paired with a Samsung Soundbar, this delivers a great experience for the most part. Unfortunately, my TV seems to be glitchy. There are times when the TV does not respond to the original remote, or a secondary remote. Other times, the software hangs for a few seconds before responding to the selected action. I have done multiple restarts, cold starts, and even factory reset the TV. Nothing seems to fix the problem. It is difficult to replicate the problem, and I do not understand what might cause the software to hang. But it does happen frequently enough that I am considering returning the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture failed after 16 months! TV is only 16 months old and the picture has failed. The 12 month warranty expired and it will cost at least $750 to repair. The TV was nearly $1,400 in June of 2022.

Biggest surprise for me was sound, this is so pure and clean. Bigger surprise was bass, I couldn't figure out how it can be so good from that tiny design.

Pretty much everytime a PC style device is connected its a battle of input changes, restarts and unplugging the cables until you get something to stick - only made harder by no hardware input change (must be done through a series of menus). The video connection works fine with my Nvidia Shield, but this device has audio issue when running my Samsung soundbar through e-ARC. The new Samsung remote build quality is garbage compared to previous generations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent TV --- HORRIBLE REMOTE The TV is amazing when you can get the remote to work. The remote tends to A) Not respond B) continuously scrolls without a button input. The PIP only works with a steam from another device can't stream 2 native TV apps. Picture is good sounds is good for TV speakers but honestly I have a sound bar connected, which has fair superior sound which is to be expected. Samsungs Customer Service to try to fix the remote issues is a joke.

Never the less, I wanted to say how absolutely pleased I have been with this purchase. The colors, clarity, brightness, sound, and style are unsurpassed for other TV's of this level. I have always enjoyed the home screen format and interface, and it is even better now. I, for one, find QLED superior to OLED, but that is just my opinion. Have no fear in buying a Samsung 4K or 8K large screen when you have the chance.
