Rated 5 out of 5 by from A sub-par TV for the price when it's up on your wall and going through art, it looks fantastic - it really does. however it has numerous issues that shouldn't be seen in a tv for this price. 1. doesn't lay totally flat against the wall - the top part tends to hang off slightly more than the rest of the tv, it's not fully flush. 2. it has pretty bad backlight bleeding. 3. internet issues - the wifi will completely drop for no apparent reason. when attempting to reconnect, it will say "incorrect password" even though it mostly certainly is not the wrong password. you need to literally unplug the tv and plug it back in for it to reconnect. 4. laggy / poor ui - it will sometimes get bogged down and unresponsive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the features, don't sign up for installation our tv arrived a week ago. really happy to have ordered "the frame"--love seeing our choice of artwork on the wall and pleased with the tv picture and intuitive remote as well. we splurged on the $80 installation fee, which resulted in repeated texts (spam) to sign up for the "handy" app. the promised pro rescheduled twice with little notice, and there was no way to communicate directly with them. i cancelled and am awaiting my refund. and i need to find somebody to install the tv above our fireplace on what is probably a brick wall, literally and figuratively.

The Frame TV works so well to display art and it also blends in with the other art work we have. It’s amazing at how thin the TV is and the picture quality is so crisp. I love this TV

Love the surprising features when the TV automatically dims on art mode (when I open the shutters) and increases its volume while watching TV when external noise is detected (shredding machine, etc.). Really appreciate all the extra apps (Samsung TV, Samsung health, etc.), features (art mode), as this TV really helps me work productively in an home office-like environment. I've had other Samsungs and the integration of the apps and movies is effortless especially for my young child and older relative who like to use my office as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Software Sucks the tv looks great, i had no problems installing it and it sits flush to the wall and really does look like a picture frame. the problem i have is the apps you download to stream like pbs and att now, just dont work very well and are really frustrating! i would suggest buying 3rd party hardware to stream through like apple tv …. samsung software sucks, its glitchy and frustrating to use. even the samsung tv apps are horrible to use and are not intuative at all. i doubt samsung will address the issue, so if your budgeting for a tv and this is your desired tv you should budget another $200 for 3rd party hardware to make watching tv enjoyable and not frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade I upgraded my old Panasonic TV to the Samsung Frame and I can’t believe I waited this long! The hype is real. The picture quality is incredible, easy to navigate, and the setup was so seamless. I mainly use my TV for streaming services and all the apps were available. It also comes with free TV channels. I don’t want cable, but this was an added bonus. It also automatically adjust the screen color/brightness and audio based on ambiance which is so convenient. I also like that you can upload your own pictures for the artwork. There are so many great features I’m still discovering but overall so happy with my purchase.

The tv worked for just one day and then the audio stopped working and there was no way to fix or repair. I have tried to immediately return the Bundle but Samsung still prevents me from getting a refund for their broken bundle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not thrilled so far i am leaving this review here because i already had a chat with customer service. i intend to wall mount my tv but it did not come with the proper hardware for my walls and no guidance for how to mount into drywall with metal studs. i was referred to the samsung handy phone number and the person who answered the phone had even less knowledge. i am hoping that a handy installer can advise me on anchors. my problem is that samsung will provide a wall mount with hardware for only two specific wall material situations. the instructions make a huge deal out of only using what they suggest, but then they can't suggest proper hardware for a common situation like metal studs. i expect better instructions and guidance for such an expensive tv.

I love that I can change the art piece for every Season or I can down load pictures of my grandchildren and display them. The choices in matting size and color is also a wonderful feature. The picture on the TV is clear and crisp. It feels like the people are in the room with you. I stream many of my favorite old movies and TV showes. I had a service guy stand in my living room, remote in hand looking puzzled. He pushed the remote control and jumped a mile when the picture became TV. He was amazed. The young man left my house saying he was going to buy one for his girl friend. That was the exact reason I purchased this TV as I did not want the TV to be the focal point of my room. Now the art wall is. I highly recommend to anyone to purchase this beautiful piece of artwork or I mean TV. It is worth every penny.

The usability of the remote is less friendly than I would like. I would appreciate the tv having more memory over where I last left the channels because it sometimes doesn’t remember.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but always broken absolutely do not buy this tv. it's beautiful. and when it works, it's a thing of beauty. but it rarely works, and samsung keeps pushing out updates to the software that breaks critical funcitonality. e.g., right now, it can't play a slideshow. which is the whole reason you pay extra for this tv! and support is useless...all they do is tell you to factory reset, then sit with your broken tv for months and hope it gets fixed in the next update (and nothing else gets broken).

We have paired it with a gallery wall and some plants and it looks fantastic. I haven't yet purchased the frame bezels but I'm looking forward to purchasing one. The artwork feature is neat too. There is so much artwork to choose from and when it switches to the picture mode it actually looks like hanging art. Amazing. The picture quality is fine and we're pretty happy with it, its not like Samsung's high end models, but it still has very nice contrasts and vibrant colors. Id buy this TV again if I need another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really beautiful bit of adjustment! The install was simple! The look clean and elegant, I love changing the picture and using the frame feature. It seems like the new model no longer has temperature control only brightness and the controls are overall an adjustment. Speakers seem good, as does the auto sensing picture. I have this in my basement and there is little natural light so not sure how well the remote will do or if the picture adjustment is as great as it would be for a room with lots of light and windows. Overall very happy and feel like this tv offers so much for the price! Also so smart, I don’t know many others doing the solar cell tech or the motion sensor. Love that they are embracing tech!

However since I am using this tv in my guest room It would have been nice to have a longer cord so I could completely hind the black box under the bed with no visibility. It appears I could purchase a longer cord at around $300. I feel additional products and accessories should be cheaper especially given the price of the tv. Overall I am happy with the product it keeps a very clean and uncluttered look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV is the smartest one I've ever owned 2nd Frame TV I've purchased - the last one (2020) developed a fault with the box, but Samsung refunded the amount it was worth (prorated as it was a month out of warranty), which let me buy a new one (2021) at the same value of my refund. Really enjoy this TV, the picture quality is great, and the new one has a smaller box. Samsung Care warranty service is great.

I initially let the salesperson convict me to go with the LG Gallery because of the picture but I was so disappointed with the interface and the gallery options (Can't easily load your own pictures and have as a screen saver). The One Connect is an amazing addition and makes it so easy to display the frame without wires and the blue seamlessly connects to our surround sound. 5/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I hate seeing this “nearly invisible” cord! arrg! i love this tv so much but i cant stand seeing this “nearly invisible” cord hanging under the tv. i almost returned it but im hoping eventually to find a solution. i bought this tv more for the art look then tv. how many pieces of art have a power cord? i have been told i cant run the one connect cord through the wall because it is not fire rated. and now learn samsung does not even sell a fire rated cord yet. so disappointing! samsung please fix this! what are my options!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV won't turn on i got my tv a few days ago, it turned on and worked great and i was ecstatic. then a few hours later it was not turning on at all. neither the tv nor one connect box have power now and i have tried every reboot and troubleshooting tool given to me. i've been on the phone/chat/text with samsung support for the last 24 hours and every time, they transfer me to someone else and give me the same number to call. they then refused to send a technician out and offered $100 to find my own technician (who probably knows nothing about this tv). i'll take any advice at this point but this is the worst experience i've had purchasing a new tv and doesn't give me a great taste regarding samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light and thin happy with installed tv; however, agree with all of the previous reviews about the mounting hardware. we watched tutorials showing the ease of install w/one bracket, but there are two with the 2021 model. please include a template! the bracket placement diagram is difficult to work out, and our model didnt line up with two studs, so we had to make an extra trip to the hardware atore for heavy duty anchors. diagrams are not easy to follow, and are too small to see accurate location of small parts (wire keepers). with a template and better instructions, we probably could have installed in half the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks cool, works, mount is terrible i'm an engineer with 2 master's degrees and it took me 4.5 hours to setup to spec. tips: -use the "b" measurement for mount alignment between center points. there is no template. for 50" distance is 27.17" -use any two mount holes that will allow you to hit 2 studs. add extra drywall screws or cabinet screws to secure. -drill a bigger pilot hole than recommended 1/8". provided screws strip easily. -bend the mount hanger away from the wall. the metal clips are way too tight to get the tv "click" and seat properly -do not put the one connect cord in the wall. it will not be up to code. in wall kit sold separately is $200+. -the instructions/mount are the worst i've ever seen. samsung, pay me for the advice i posted here... -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The new wall mount badly designed i just received the 2021 frame tv i pre-ordered and the new wall mount extremely badly designed and engineered. the gaps between the holes for screws are so tight and the screws caps are so big that i can't fit 2 screws in place. there is also a big gap no mater how i adjust it. don't buy yet, wait until they fix the tv mount issue ... save your time and frustration.

When it is turned off I can choose between some complimentary art work that comes with the device, or choose my own artwork or photographs that I’ve taken myself. One of my favorite technologies that I have ever purchased. A smile comes across my face every time I walk past it.

The picture is so clear and lifelike that I almost feel like I am inside it, 3D like. The setup was easy, the Home Screen is so intuitive to use that my 4.5yo has already mastered it. Adding apps was simple too. I have yet to explore all the tv has to offer including the picture set up when the tv is off so can’t speak to that of yet. I also can’t speak of the wall mount since we will be moving soon and will wait to mount at the new apartment. Overall worth every penny. It is a gorgeous tv.

Some claimed it is impossible to hang on a wall using the supplied tv wall adapter however i found it relatively easy - took me less than 2 hours overall. The instructions could use a step-by step walk-through with either an online movie on "how-to" or dedicated English instructions for ease of use. I love the new remote and the rechargeable function but do not love so much the size of the new One Connect Box . Overall a great purchase and would recommend it.

Love the Art work But....... the only complaint that i have about this tv is youtube tv app crashing!!!! i have the previous generations of frame tv's.. the 2019 - 49", 2020 - 50", and now the 2021 50" and it improves every year until the black screen from youtube tv takes over... the fix for me is reinstalling the app, or performing a power cycle.....but it is annoying that you have to do this everyday.....besides that, samsung products in general are awesome & i've never been disappointed, so hopefully 1-update will fix this issue and then i'll be ready to buy the 75" frame for the living room... but i won't buy it until the youtube tv app issue is fixed.... like i said, the 2019 & 2020 models do not have any issues....just the 2021

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really looks like picture frame It’s also a great quality picture. Nice way to display family photos or art masterpieces. Mounting the thin shaped TV can be a bit challenging. Needed to use steel wood screws in place of the supplied aluminum ones for studs in wall. That’s over soon and it’s a great improvement on just a TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE LOVE LOVE This Tv. I use my Samsung to watch tv and to enjoy the artwork while I'm working. Three people from work virtual calls have complimented the artwork not realizing it was a tv. It looks much more "real" in person. When I take pic, can tell it's a tv. I'm waiting for the 2021 bezel to get here and can't wait till I get it. I know it will give it more of the picture frame look. I'm planning to do a gallery wall around the tv now that it's mounted. Just have to decide on layout. 4k looks great on this. I don't have cable or any gaming systems to connect, but will try to connect my work computer one day and see how that works. I love art store and the different art options. Looking forward to trying to put up my personal pics soon. As far as the instructions to mount it, it was very confusing. My brother came to mount it for me. Thank goodness for another company that posted a video on how to best mount it. He went to hardware store and bought some toggle bolts instead to use. I wish Samsung included the template. After the measuring was done and he mounted the brackets, it was easy to put the tv on the wall.

Easy to set up, has a great picture quality, very easy to use (especially when switching between streaming services) and the art looks great on wall. Looks like an actual painting hang there. Haven't even gotten a sound bar yet but the sound quality is excellent in my medium size room.

Everyone who comes in is amazed and when I change it to TV - the color and clarity come through and people want to know all about this TV! Two of my friends have purchased one after seeing mine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Art Mode does not work as expected Bought 2021 The Frame to be able to display art during the day on The Frame. It doesn't work as expected. TV turns off (sleeps) and then never turns on (awakes). I've tried everything I can think of and recommended (not the only one with the problem). Motion detection on and night mode off, it will turn on and off but if left too long will not turn on again with motion. Auto off is turned off. Night mode will keep the TV turned off (sleep) at night with no light in the room and motion detection will not turn it back on (as it should), but then the next morning the TV will not turn on (awaken) unless the light in the room is very bright. On a cloudy day the TV doesn't turn on. I have Windows facing both East and West with no coverings and the TV doesn't wake without hitting the ON button. I can find no way to adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor. Also have connected to a Samsung soundbar with HDMI connection and TV set to use the connected soundbar. Sometimes the TV forgets and goes back to TV speakers. For these reasons I'm giving it an average score. If these issues were fixed, then the score would be much higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great until you want to use You Tube TV App great tv but unlike other samsung tvs, the you tube tv app crashes every time you use it. look up the black screen of death issues everyone has. every other samsung works great with you tube tv except this very expensive one. all this trouble to hang and set up and now i have to figure out how to get tv that works. save your money, buy real art and a real tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW All Tvs should have this option! We purchased this TV for commercial use, primarily because it's not immediately noticeable as a TV. Because its set up to look like a picture frame (we purchased the white frame add-on), its incredibly slim and doesn't detract from the rest of the room's style particularly when set to art mode. Its still a Samsung Smart TV so you have access to all the standard apps (we use it to play music, music videos, shows, movies...) but you can also toggle on an art or ambient mode which allows you to display artwork (with or without an art frame border) and relaxing animations. You can also easily upload & display your own art instead of the pre-baked ones - This works well for promotions! My only gripe is that you can't display art mode AND play music via another tv app like Spotify (you CAN toggle on Art mode and play audio from your phone if you have a Samsung phone via the Samsung app - but I have an iPhone). Overall its a beautiful, clear, and loud TV and I'm happy with my purchase. This tv offers the flexibility I need .... in a package that's beautiful! OH and the Solar-powered remote control is a very nice touch!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product is quite a decor overall I do like the frame concept for this TV. I bought the 2021 version because of the reduced thickness. I like it to serve as a TV and an artwork on the wall as I can get different pictures or artworks online. However, I did not realize that there is extra charges to download these artworks. I cannot say it is a complain but it would be better if the service can be included or at least give us enough access for free, not just a handful pictures to try out. In addition, the extra charge service should be disclosed before I buy or it listed somewhere but I missed it? Overall, the TV is good as expected. Slim, stylish and minimized which are what I need and expect. However, I realized recently that it does not work well with airplay when I mirror my iPhone to the TV. It stucks and I have to re-connect my airplay again. It happens several times but I do not know why.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks so much better than a regular TV I was skeptical of the Frame TV when my wife pitched it to me. But after hanging it and adding a white bezel I can say that I am in love. It's so nice having something that doesn't standout in the room (unless we want it to).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but could have more variety. What can I say except I really do like the TV. I do wish the available apps were more inclusive but, what they do have is enough to get by. I mainly use it for gaming and the picture is crystal clear as expected, other than that I use it for streaming services. I also have a large movie collection but, I typically buy the digital combos. However, the app needed to view my collection isn't on the TV which is disappointing. With how digital everything is going I'd expect a wider variety of movie apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek piece of functional art. I love the frame. It's slim aesthetic makes it compatible with just about any setup. The one connect box might be the best part of most of the new samsung TVs. It allows for maximum output with minimal footprint. The art mode is great too. I do find the purchasable art on the pricey side and I can't think of a reason to subscribe for the service, however, you can import your own pictures. This makes this feature a must for me. All in all I highly recommend to anyone. It gives new meaning to entertainment.

We use the TV to stream calls with our friends and family, and have even steamed instagram live ballet performances. Really the smartest TV I've ever owned

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Amazing TV with One Caveat This TV occupies a very visible location in our family room and is used primarily for streaming. Samsung's smart TV features are amazing and offer a large variety of free streaming choices out of the box. The remote control and menu interface are intuitive providing well designed, ergonomic interactions. But this is a Samsung television. It is impossible to not note the visual quality, which is just WOW. I'm not a videophile but I like a TV with high visual quality and Samsung never fails to deliver. This model, "The Frame" is part of the "Lifestyle Series" and features the intent to have the TV be more than a large black rectangle suspended in space when it is unused. This model is built unbelievably thin in order to be hung flat against the wall and has a customizable skin to better blend with the surrounding environment with the appearance as a framed portrait. There is a channel available to select art pieces that will be displayed when operating in this mode. This option requires an additional monthly subscription fee. As a free alternative, the Ambient mode can be used to display more basic designs and background patterns or useful information such as time, weather or news headlines. The Frame characteristics of this model require a monthly subscription to truly experience its features. Even without the artwork subscription, this model has the effect of being an amazing viewing portal built directly into your wall. It is hard to choose poorly choosing a Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful TV but difficulty streaming The tv is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted it to look like. People can’t believe that my artwork magically changes into a tv. On the downside, the tv has a difficult time streaming apple play and tv shows from apps on the phone. It constantly cuts out during my shows and it pretty punishing for watch. I’m sure regular cable or satellite Tv would be fine on it but not apple play. I find myself going into the bedroom to use my cheap Visio that was 1/4 of the price if this one instead of using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features but truly puzzling UI. Awful. I bought this for the Art app. It took a day to get it going due to the uncharged remote they sent me. This TV is the most feature-rich, but incredibly hard to use device I have ever seen in my 25 year career with intelligent devices. What a horrible UI. I am stumped to figure out how to use the Art feature beyond showing one pic. The TV looks rich, lots of free channels, and no evident way to add my existing apps like PBS. When I turn to TV mode, some dumb show starts playing automatically. Horrible.
