Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features My TV is AWESOME! It does everything I need it to do and more. When I was looking into purchasing a TV I wanted something that could be compatible with my phone. Other brands didn’t have that. I’m about to screen share with my phone, use my phone as a remote, organize things and more. It was a GREAT buy for a GREAT price & I recommend this TV to anyone who is in the market ! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing new I had a Samsung TV back in 2014 and decided to upgrade when mine started doing everything a little slower than average. I decided to stick with Samsung and she upgrade a little bigger and a newer model. After I purchased and got this new TV set up I then realized I have the SAME TV. there is no difference between the 2. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend Frame TV The quality and value of the frame TV is worth every penny! I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new tv option for their home. The art feature is one of my favorite especially when I would rather have my wall not look like there is a tv there. This is the best of both worlds—-art and entertainment! Let alone the mount and one connected source all is included with the tv. Get your frame tv today you won’t regret it! -Stephanie | Iowa Customer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It looks pretty fantastic My wife and I keep saying “it looks so nice” to each other, and that’s genuinely true. We got an additional frame, and with the no gap wall mount, it looks great on our wall. There have been a few hiccups. -The sensor that is supposed to turn on Art mode when sensing movement isn’t always the best, even thought I’ve turn up the sensitivity as high as it’ll go. -Bixby doesn’t work well, or at least doesn’t work with the apps I’m using (mainly Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu). It keeps saying “that is not supported at this time” or I simply get a message saying voice commands aren’t supported, and I should use my remote. But there are also plenty of things to love. -Great picture quality (QLED looks great) -Apple TV app and Airplay 2 are installed and work very well. -Mount is easy to install and works beautifully -Art Mode is a big reason to buy this TV, and it looks amazing -OneConnect box is fantastic. Only one cable coming out of the TV is life changing. (All connections, including power, go out of OneConnect box). -I have a sound bar, but the TV speakers are actually really good. TV has a few inconveniences, but it is beautiful to look at, both in Art and TV mode. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture in TV Mode, but not in Art Mode I just bought the 43 inch version, and while the picture in TV mode is great, in the Art Mode it is very dim. Unfortunately the only way to change the brightness is using the SmartView app on your phone, and that does not work either, in that it will not link up with the TV. Nor does the SmartThings app connect with the TV. I spent an hour on the phone with tech support and that did not correct the problem. I'm guessing that the 2019 version of the Frame with the QLED screen was not well tested with the firmware and both of the apps. I hope this is corrected soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my QLED “The Frame tv” So far so good! I wanted to buy a TV that would make a statement, and this one does. In my case 80% of the time I do not watch TV, and I do not want to see a horrible black screen when I don’t watch Any show or movie. This tv is a master piece when in art mode. I can see a hundreds of master pieces or my own pictures In high resolution. It’s a pleasure to see it. In TV mode is beautiful with it’s new QLED screen. I bee using it for 2 months now and all I can say is wow! What a great tv. Good resolution and sharpness, And the ability to change the settings to your preferences is so smart. The quality of shows on 4K is outstanding! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenience It would be easy to comment on all the features that this product provides. The convenience and overall display is what attracted me. The ability to hang this on the wall and have it look like a piece of art is priceless. What a great addition to any room. The size and clarity is absolutely amazing and mesmerizing. Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful tv The TV is beautiful as an art piece. I previously had the 2017 model, this one is much faster with more features, and the welcome addition of QLED. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed with lack of HomeKit support This TV is great in nearly every way. The product is for you if you don't want an ugly black rectangle to be the focal point of your room. When not in use, it disappears and looks like hanging wall art. HOWEVER, it has two major flaws: high price and lack of HomeKit support. TVs with similar specs can be had for one-third the price. Sure, you're paying for the unique design, which includes a bracket (a nice plus). But for the price, you should be able to control the TV (on/off, volume, channels, etc.) with Apple's HomeKit. Google Assistant and Amazon Alex are supported. Why not HomeKit? (especially when Airplay2 is supported). Really hoping this is fixed with a software update later this year. Otherwise, I might return it for a Vizio or LG, which recently announced support for HomeKit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is seriously sexy TV We waited for the 2019 version to be released and I'm so glad we did. The picture quality is leaps and bounds better than the 2018 version we saw in store. Utilizing the art gallery mode has incorporated the TV as a feature of the room instead of an object we'd have to design around. Please note that it's not totally cordless as there is a thin cable that comes out the bottom to the connect box. We managed to run the wire through the wall in which it was mounted on and have the connect box hidden behind a ledge. One thing that did surprise me, although not a big deal, is how heavy the actual TV is. Lastly, I'm really looking forward to working my way through the art!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whats so Smart? This television is okay. just okay. I have a small selection of apps that I can install on the tv but its closed network..... I dont think theres a point having a smart tv that cant freely download applications, I can purchase a google cast or amazon fire stick that can download the applications I want and plug it into the tv and have exactly what I want with this tv and more. therefore the tv doesn't do anything special what so ever. whats the point of having a smart tv, whats so smart about it? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Picture Upgrade, lost features. We are very pleased with the picture quality improvements over the 2018 version. Wall mounting was no more difficult than any other tv, and hiding the single wire is much easier than running wires in the wall. We use the Art Mode all the time - the Samsung offerings, the subscription offerings and increasingly our own photos as well. There are some limitations on using your own photos - not able to choose all matting options, and only one collage setting. What we miss, though, is the full Ambient mode from previous years and promised in pre-launch literature and articles. With the 2019 Frame one can no longer take a photo and have the screen blend in to the background, nor display news, weather, etc. In fact the remote no longer has an ambient mode button, though the manual refers to it. I suspect omitting the features was a late decision and really hope some would be restored in a software upgrade. Apple’s AirPlay 2 just appeared in the settings as promised and it works well. As to Bixby, it worked well except it would respond to voices from the tv picked up by the remote so we turned off that function but can still press the mic button on the remote. We purchased one of the metal Frames - white. They offer 4 colors so choose carefully since they are expensive. Sound quality is what you would expect from a flat screen with no front speakers. All in all, the Art Mode and fine picture quality makes this a unique addition to our home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good if you don't use wireless or android app. The TV looks great but wireless connection kept getting disconnected after a long period of being turned off. I would have to unplug the tv or redo all the wireless settings. Switching to a wired connection fixed the issue but isn't ideal. Also, the Smart view app cannot find the TV on android and I have not been able to load my pictures on the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great screen my first large TV and the wife and I enjoy it almost every night. We watch mostly the Hallmark movies while seated in our love seat. We are in our 70's and remember when TV was black and white and not on all day. We have come a long way. We stopped going to the the movie theaters. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Imperfect but Really cool Overall I Really love this TV the artmode is awesome. It seems I need update the firmware though because it cannot compensate for the room brightness properly.Find myself having to constantly make the paintings brighter or Dimmer throughout the day as the Ambient lighting changes. The TV has a sensor in the supposed to compensate for this I see it trying however it does not do a good jobI imagine this is probably just a software fix but they haven't fixed in 3 yearsSo likely will not get a fix [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Backlight Leakage Horrible Bought this a couple weeks ago and love the concept but the backlight leakage is horrible. Not sure if it was damaged in shipping or thats just the way it is. Would be better to just buy a tv and build a frame around it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the few purchases we bought again. We first bought a Frame in 2017 when we remodeled our house and hung it over the fireplace. It was a good TV but the art made it a completely awesome animal. Spring forward to this summer and we sold the house and moved. Of course the new owners asked for the TV to be included, which we agreed to. When we got to our new home, one thing we both agreed on was that we wanted another Frame TV. It really is a game changer from the old dumb black screen when folks are over. Doesn't hurt that it also sounds good for a TV which means you really can live without the soundbar or speakers that give away the fact it is a TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issue With White Line While In Art Mode I have been extremely pleased with this purchase; however, recently while in art mode, a 1/4 inch white line has appeared towards the top of the tv. It seems that there is an issue with the tv going between art collections you have selected and the total amount of artwork can be displayed at a given time. The silly workaround is to find individual artworks you enjoy and making them your favorite and keep the total under 40. I'm not sure if this also includes personal photos under favorites since I have not tried this yet. So far, there isn't any fixes for this issue; however, there is a string started by a few within the support community. Lets see if Samsung fixes this issue since it really takes away from the feel of an art piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problems 1. Remote is small & difficult to use; easy to hit the wrong buttons. Some features that on my Sony require two clicks such as sleep timer require 8+ clicks on the Samsung. 2. Voices at times sound out-of-sync with mouth movements. Voice quality, at times, off frequency. 3. Worst yet: Set the sleep timer & about 20% of the time it doesn't turn the set off. Even worse about 10% of the time if you manually turn the set off it turns itself back on a few moments later. 4. Samsung support is terrible even if you happen to get an intelligible English. Kept putting me off saying wait for firmware updates which I did & did no good. 5. Outside of skin tones being more obvious (freckles, etc.) the picture is not much different than my five year old Sony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the flush mount . . . But . . Hi. This review is for the newbie (like me) who is just transitioning to wall mount and QLED/flat panel. In a nutshell, if you need a flush mount QLED, this is a nice tv. Really opens up a small space having it hung on wall with no need for bulky console. The TV is easy to use for streaming, has nice sound and I love the remote/navigation. But . . .wish I had known: 1) For bright spaces, this does not look like art. It looks like a monitor with a screen saver. The screen is highly reflective. When not in use almost looks like a smoke mirror and on/off you’ll see your blinds/glowing lamp on the screen. Probably no different than other new large format, but not the case with my older TV. Physical/advertising display not representative. 2) The TV frame will not stay pressed up against the wall if you do not have perfect receptacle in back or perfectly straight walls - but it is close. 3) Can’t find the setting that lets you just watch the same lapping waves, or moving scene. Thought that came with the TV. 4) Pre-programmed art probably has a color scheme for everyone, but selection is very limited. Wish company would allow at least one personalized selection without additional cost as other QLEDs are cheaper and it’s the whole point of the TV. 5) Can’t figure out how to default to art mode when turning tv back on - so need to keep clicking through to art mode each time. 6) The motion sensor is not working as expected but maybe I just need to fiddle with it. I do love art though, so if they expand the library, beef up the artist profiles, and keep it affordable/convenient I will be happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice TV for a non-TV place (Living Room) I just purchased this TV (QN49LS03RAFXZA) for my Living Room, with the intention of it 'replacing' a piece of art. This is a versatile piece of equipment, though not 100% ready for prime time. The "Art Mode" interface is a bit clunky, and takes a bit of practice to get used to (and even then, not as intuitive as I'd like). The rest of the setup is in the same mode as other Samsung TVs (I have two others), with an external box handling all of the cabling/connectors, and one slender wire providing the TV with power, etc. My main beef is with the actual "frame". The TV doesn't come with the frames that make this actually look like a piece of art hanging on the wall, and they may be purchased separately in a number of colors. Unfortunately, the metal frame that one purchases isn't properly machined to fit well on the TV. I purchased the White frame (VG-SCFN49WM/ZA), and returned it after it didn't fit well (it needed to be forced a bit and even then there was a small gap where there shouldn't have been). I ordered/received another one, and it had the same problem, but I've chosen to live with it (as opposed to returning it), as my assumption is that it won't ever get any better than this (once might've been a mistake, twice implies that all of them have this issue). I'm not sure how the Samsung QC allowed this to happen, but it did. Anyway, I'm generally happy with the TV, less so with the external frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV great but no wall-mount screws After 90 minutes on the phone, the TV doesn't come with F&G screws (dry wall anchors), which is incredulous. The TV is great, but a separate trip to home store to get anchors needs to be apparent. This would have been easy to do and set up if it had the F & G anchors. UGH!
