I uninstalled everything from the watch (except built-in apps) and only receive notifications when I receive phone calls. Battery life is two days at most.GPS satellite signal definitely not reliable.Swimming features just don't work. The results are completely incorrect and if you stop in the water you'll see that the watch considers that you're still swimming.For this price, you can definitely have a better fitness watch...

The band broke on the first watch while I was walking in the mall didnt realize and I had to replace it but I chalk that one up to my loss. The second one broke and I missed the warranty by one month and now the third band has broken and luckily it's within my warranty so I plan to contact customer service. For the amount of money that this watch cost you would think that it would have a better band or at least more options. I also find that some of the apps are very slow and Spotify for example has some kind of funky bug that it will not allow you if you don't set it correctly the first time to control your music settings. I think this watch needs some major improvements and one being a new band that last long and you don't have to worry about losing just walking down the street.

First test I did when I got my GearFit Pro 2 was take it to the sink. Ran a decent amount of water on it to test it’s water resistance (made sure to get a good covering even up under my wrist to hit the sensor) and it still works like a charm. Slick.Secondly I enjoy music, but there’s nothing worse than when you can’t change a song mid workout. After walking through the quick steps on the band, I was able to figure out how to download music to it using my laptop on the same wifi. This is great since it’s a standalone music player meaning you don’t need your phone in your pocket to play a playlist and can change music on the fly. I’ve got 35 songs on and still have all kinds of room for more music. Score.Finally, I love the sleek design and more than enough pegs for that right fit. Also gets a plus for being able to download different display interfaces. Always love having that customizable feel.Overall, great product, accurate fitness readouts, water resistant and music wherever / whenever you want it. I’m going to enjoy pushing it to it’s limits.

Have brushed up against a couple of things and have some nice scratches already. I can carry my phone with this and have a difference of 2 to 1000 steps between them. On the plus side it's light,comfortable and helps me keep track of my everyday activities to some degree.

It's lightweight and comfortable enough to use the sleep monitor functionality. I mostly use it for a music player and to check calls/messages when I'm not near my phone all day so I can see any emergencies with a glance. It has a long lasting battery that charges lightening quick. I'd say a little over an hour it went from dead to full charge. I even used the continuous heart rate monitoring when I was playing poker so that was amusing! I look forward to summer to try out the water-resistant feature. For the money invested, I got more than I expected. Great value and a happy Samsung customer.
