I was a little worried about getting it from all the negative reviews, but it still flips smoothly and the crease isn't anymore visible than when I bought it. It's so easy to fold up and slide right into my pocket, and now I can't imagine having a non-folding phone again.

I carry insurance through our wireless provider and they want to charge 240 to fix it or 650 to get a different phone... samsung customer service said we could buy a different phone or drive about an hour away to see if a place of their choosing will fix it not sure of the cost yet...

The screen saver in part of the phone and can only be replaced at a service center. I have been waiting for a new screen saver for 5 months. Samsung has stopped shipping them for an unknown reason. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! It is defective and no one cares.

The indention in the middle of the screen is not only annoying, the touch screen doesn't work there. I will type a text and when I hit send it changes everything to gibberish then sends. The touch screen will randomly stop working. It takes forever to type anything because I hit a letter and it puts a different one (not one that is close on the keyboard). There is more but I'm over fighting this phone to type this. Next time I will wait for my Galaxy S series to be back in stock!

This is my 2nd flip phone I had the 2 version diversion and was so impressed with it that I upgraded when the new model came out I will be getting the 4 soon for my birthday! It's more than just convenient it's super compact it's great for traveling and takes the best pictures with these nice angles that you get when you "FLIP" in 1/2!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great....for a month I bought his phone about a year ago and it was great, until about a month later when the screen's crease started to bubble up. I sent it in to samsung device care and it was deemed out of warranty, which is fair. I sent it to my provider's insurance and had it replaced about a month later, as I would pay less for insurance than to have it fixed. I was sent a new model shortly, and everything was great. Until this week, when the issue with the crease returned. I will have to have my phone repaired again. The two repairs have cost almost as much as the phone and I now wish I had avoided this model of phone altogether. The software of the phone, camera quality, and screen resolution are great, but the durability for the screen is not up to par. I will contact samsung care again to see if it will be deemed within warranty. I personally would recommend not purchasing this model of phone due to it's fragility in comparison to other phones

I love how it can fold into a smaller form factor and fit into my pocket, and I love how fast it is- the cameras as well as leaps and bounds above my old phone. This phone is great for the price, I seriously recommend it!

It has a factory defect where there is a crease all the way across the phone. Samsung knows about this defect and has been repairing other peoples phone. BUT since my husband doesn’t use his phone as often as others and his crease didn’t show up in their time frame they will not repair it. This is wrong and do not buy any of their flip phones. Samsung will not stand behind it. Last Samsung we will ever buy. I guess I will try Apple since we love our ipads

Samsung would not replace the phone so I had to send it in for service. Took it to the store I bought it to make sure all my data was backed up. Sent it in for repair. When I got it back I could not retrieve my pictures or data. The repair is good but I am afraid to fold it because I am afraid it will break again! I tried to trade it for a different phone but I owe more than the phone is worth!! Do not buy this phone, it is junk!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meh The biggest disappointment with this phone are that the cover screen is absolutely useless in every fashion besides seeing the time. I have yet to find even a native application that can use the cover screen, can't even stop a timer from the outside. The screen protector is the worst thing to exist and Samsung says you can't replace or remove it. The hinge very easily looses any resistance to it. Mine probably opens about eighth of and inch with no effort at all and the hinge has fairly significant side to side movement. This is my 2nd one, I had the Zflip 5g before this and it was built way better and yeah the cover screen was smaller but who cares since the larger one doesn't work for anything meaningful. Need to warranty my device under a year of owning just under normal use, glad it came with samsung care + for a year that when i tried to use it Samsung said I did not have it and would need to purchase it. I really wanted to love this device since the concept is really cool but there are just too many flaws for the 3rd iteration of this device. People definitely notice when you have this phone and its really cool to own and use but just not practical yet unfortunately. I hope to see something more durable in the future!

I took the leap anyway, which has overcome most of my everyday worst instantly. Camera quality never seems to fail with Samsung. Only wish iPhone could handle the quality of photos sent from "aNdrOid"/Samsung! but everywhere I go, this phone catches eyes from every which way!! (Only downfall if you're shy, I suppose) pps grab the clear case when your order, my only regret was waiting until after the fact of getting the phone

Flipping and closing the phone is the essential funsction of this Flip phone, but it shuts off whenever it is closed after 3 - 4 months of use. Essential manufacturing defect. Also, when you try to share power wirelessly, it shuts off as well. Tousch sensor is not accurate so it is hard to type or misspell all the time. Tried to repair the phone but the local repair center cannot fix it or does not even have parts. Samsung told me to mail it to Smasung but it will take two weeks. Unless you have an extra phone to use for 2 weeks, do not buy it. Not worth to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy this phone I'm a long time Samsung customer. Owned a note 10 before this phone and also own a tab S7+ but I'll never buy another Samsung product after this phone. I've had it for about 6 weeks and the screen developed a clicking noise and flexion on the right side below the crease. Judging by reddit, this is a common issue. Samsung is going to "repair" it because it's under warranty, but they're hanging me out to dry for upwards of two weeks without a phone, as I have to mail it to them and don't have a replacement to put my sim card in. Unreal service for an issue that isn't my fault. You've lost a loyal one today, Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a good phone (not the best in Samsung fam) I have been having this phone for 6+ months now. Since beginning i've felt, this is the best form factor for a smart phone. It is simply amazing - the flip adds a cool factor. However, I am not with a disappointment. I am not sure if Samsung used low quality materials for this phone compared to flagships - the trade-in value for this phone is miserable compared to S ultra series. Price wise it is almost same as S ultra series at launch. When someone wants to trade-in, they would lose the advantage. That's one super concern for me. Second, the cameras should have been much better. My note 20 takes far more amazing pics than this. Also, A71 5g (a much cheaper one) takes superior photos. I want to keep the phone for its simplicity and the comfort it provides, but definitely want to trade-out for a better camera. Hence 4*.

Bought this in December of 2021, March 2022, Phone kept powering off, screen replaced, 2 weeks later, phone has gone berserk, opening every app, taking pictures and texting and posting things randomly, BAD DESIGN, phone that does not work. Recommend you buy something else…..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recommend it I had a Note 10+ and moved up to the ZFlip 3. I am very happy that I did. I like that I can fold in half and its easy to hang on to. The camera is top notch and the UI 4 and it is awesome. Fast operating system. It runs smooth and not glitchy.

The Flip3 is a great upgrade to the original Flip and it seems to be holding up very nicely. It has the modern bigger screen and the compact design to not take up much space, which is great for pockets and pocketbooks.

Samsung voice to text works half the time, and you cannot make a different voice to text app work. look it up. it is a content problem. The normal ways to take a screen shot will NEVER work, maybe if you are some kind of wizard, I could not make it work. If I pay over $700 for a phone it needs to be user friendly, THIS IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also, Put a Non Samsung phone cover on this stupid thing and GOOD LUCK finding your location.

Now I have to go through the headache of taking this device to best buy so they can just tell me it's a hardware malfunction and needs to be replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm enjoying the phone, in spite of the issues. I went from the iPhone 12 Pro Max to the Z Flip 3, and aside from everyone else in the family being on iPhones and losing that connection, I don't miss the Apple eco system, and them owning everything. My biggest positive for the phone is the folded footprint. It is no longer the device that puts my leg to sleep from obstructing my thigh to hip nerves. Another big win is the OS and being able to access my files from the phone, or my PC. The contact manager is now on par with that of Apple. Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Tor run flawlessly on Android, unlike Apple. My issues after now 5 months of use are the fold in the screen is much more noticable, you can't reduce the image sizes anywhere on the phone (camera or otherwise), I'm having to restart it about every three weeks at this point, as it loses wifi connection, and the antenna is much weaker than that of my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max. After now being in my pocket for 5 months the hinge grinds and sounds like an old man's knees when bending or standing. Unless there are a number of forward thinking changes to the next version I'll be forced back onto a fixed platform size (which sucks). The fold wrinkle has to go. Several foldables are currently addressing the crease, and at least one (Chinese) has a phone coming out Q2 of this year. Apple is always one generation behind on all tech, they no longer innovate, and by the time they release a foldable anything, it will be four years after the initial Galaxy Foldable. Samsung has now fallen to number 2 when it comes to innovation. Oppo, One Plus, Xiaomi, Hauwai, ZTE and TCL are now the bleeding edge. Oppo Find N and Hauwei Mate X 2 are being release with no crease, much better cameras and user controls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good Bought this 6 months ago. I have dropped it several times, so far only thing that broke was the glass over a camera. I have had to replace the screen protector. Battery is smaller, but for me it lasts all day. I'm at 25% now and it's been off charge for 12 hours (several phone calls, about 2 hours of gaming). The most disappointing thing for me is the lack of DEX support, that one really sucks. I miss my S pen. I love the finger print reader on the side, hated the reader under the screen on the note. I do not use a phone case so the metal is starting to show wear. I wish the small screen was larger, like the razor. Maybe this last gripe is a setting somewhere, but a lot of Google assistant things need to be done with the phone opened. Oh, and BTW it's pretty easy to open and close with one hand.

I mailed it in to get a new screen ( no where in Oklahoma takes walk ins to fix it) took a couple weeks to get it back. I've had it since then and it has already done the same thing again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like this phone. I've been using my z flip 3 for a month now and really enjoy using it. Most complaints seem to be about the battery life or lack there of. I'm a casual user and don't use it for business, its mostly a toy for me and I haven't had a problem with the battery life, seems fine to me. When I purchased it I got a free wireless charger, now I will never be able to live without a wireless charger, great product. Everything on the phone works as it should for a flagship, no complaints there. The folding screen, so far, is working as it should, no problems. A few pros and cons, Pros; *Coolness factor. *Does everything a flagship phone should do, and more! *Has excellent cameras. *Has impressive stereo sound when listening through its speakers. *Great phone quality, yes it is actually a phone. *Has WiFi calling, big plus for me as my cell signal is weak at my house, works great. *Ability to add a custom picture to external screen, again, cool factor! *Lots of choices for covers can be found online, which you will need, and that brings me to the cons. Cons; *Very slippery phone, sometimes it doesn't feel secure in my hand, a good cover greatly improves this problem. *When closed, it takes two hands to open and use, this can sometimes be frustrating, like when you're shopping with a couple of items in your hands or holding a baby and it rings, you need both hands to answer it. If you try to use your thumb to "flick" it open, your fingrnail will scrape across the screen and scratch it. *It's somewhat tall and narrow when opened. I have large hands and favor a wider screen as it makes it easier for me to hold and type, I tend to make a lot of mistakes typing on this phone. *Screen collects dust and hairs like a magnet. It's not hard to clean the screen, but you WILL always be cleaning it. *No headphone jack, but I did get free wireless ear buds that work fine. *Haven't dropped it yet, but seems delicate, like if you did drop it, it would certainly break something. If you are hard on phones, this isn't for you. Overall it is a fun novelty phone. It's not really practical to use as a business type of phone, but certainly gets a lot of attention. I'm giving it four stars because it's a good phone, not great, could use some improvements, but still a good phone. I would purchase it again, for me it works.

After having the phone for a few months the phone 2 days ago the screen protector started coming off at the fold. Chatted with Samsung and was on the phone for an hour with them for them to tell me I had so send the phone back and be without it for 2 weeks. Not Acceptable when you spend $1,000 on a phone. I rely on my phone for work. I had the older of this phone and never had a problem. I should have kept that one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok phone-terrible screen Great concept-I love the fact I can stick it in my pocket, something I couldn't do with a Galaxy Note Ultra. I didn't notice any speed difference between my last 3 phones...S9+, Note Ultra, Z Flip. My biggest complaint is the screen. I had doubts, but it cracked essentially than 6 months after I got it. I thought it was dirt, at first, and kept trying to wipe it off. The crack impedes the scolling, text, and pictured. I would either have to send my phone in, and be without for a few days, or drive over an hour to get it fixed. I, personally, don't think either is the correct option, since this is a design flaw. It wasn't dropped, and always kept in a case purchased from Samsung. I'm glad now that I didn't upgrade to the Fold, and pay the extra money, only to have it Crack after normal use.

It is the best of both worlds. It is a great looking phone and built very well. The display is the best. Well worth the money. Gaming is good too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nightmare just came true Last year i bought samsung zflip 3 and right after i bought it i was worried about the screen as multiple people asked me about the screen durability as the screen is supposed to fold. Initially the screen looks great and clear without any marks near the folding area but right after few months there are few line marks developed around the folding area . Please note that these are not exactly cracks but more looks like when there is a moisture inside the tampered glass but its on the screen as my phone does not have tampered glass . Tried reaching out to Samsung customer support but no help. Seriously was not expecting this from Samsung

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone but short lived When this phone is new, it is a great phone to have. The flip is satisfying, love how compact it makes the phone, and is just very fun to own. The fold is not unnoticeable but you get used to it soon enough and never fails to intrigue people. However, it has a very short life of perfect functioning. The screen protector starts lifting off the fold after a few months of regular use and makes a cracking sound every time you open or close the phone. The resulting air pocket becomes an eyesore and a place for dust and debris to collect. This has happened to me twice now. The first time, samsung replaced my phone with a refurbished one. The second time, I have to seek out repairs on my own (luckily it's in the warranty period), but local stores aren't even equipped to deal with Flip screens so my only option would be to mail in my phone, leaving me without a phone for many days. Moreover, I know that replacing it will only solve the problem for a few momths before it happens again. I am unsure if it is worth it to keep replacing the phone every few months once its screen protector starts having the same issues (and I'm not the only one who has had this issue with their Z Flip 3). Moreover, it's battery life is inconveniently short and gets worse very quickly. So while it's a very fun phone to have, it is only good for a few months, a novelty that is not built to last. If Samsung wants this phone to actually be a viable daily use phone it needs to make it sustainable, so it does not need to be repaired or replaced after every few months of regular use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful if buying this phone I don't recommend this phone at all battery life is horrible you are going to live charging it and after 4 months of use my phone had an ugly line in the center of the phone where you fold it and the screens stop working piece by piece. Worst part is that Samsung doesn't assume the responsibility with what is happening with this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [Do Not Delete] Fragile screen bad CS TL;DR If you are looking for a phone you want to use for years without any issue stay away from any folding phone. Not worth it!! After 8 months of usage mine started to showing a line at the folding part of the screen. Suddenly screen turned into green (But still can see the icons shapes) Occasionally can hear a weird sticking sound from the screen. Not a cheap phone and wasn't expecting to use it for a single year or two but I doubt that I can use this phone at least another year without have to pay for a screen replacement Which will cause me $270(Quarter of the phone cost might be coming from the screen part for sure) even with the Samsung care+ insurance :-( But the worst part is the bad customer support is bad Was trying to check if I can get my manufacture warranty but keep getting tossed to a 3rd party company that operates Samsung care+ (This might be the reason why CS is so bad here) I didn't realized how good Apple CS were until today....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE The folding feature is very convenient. However, within 5 months, the screen had to be replaced because the pixels started going bad where the phone folds and stopped the phone from working. Three months later, the phone started having the same problem again. My husband is having the same issues on his phone and a quick Google search will show that this is a known problem with this model. It's a shame, because the size of the phone when folded is great for a small purse or a pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor screen protector installed The battery drains extremely quickly and the screen protector that was installed by the manufacturer starts to make creases and lifts up on the center within few months. Very difficult to find local service center to replace it for me so had to ship it for 2 weeks.

Shoddy construction and cheaply made, its a rental at best that fails to live up to its promises.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great phone....for the first few months I bought this phone around November and up until January I loved this phone and still do but there's a few thing to consider. There are many great features on here, the camera is great, and many other things but there isn't really any way to prevent your screen from scratching, cracking, etc. Let me just tell you this phone gets scratched very easily from the screen since there isn't really a protective screen protector in place. Not even 3 months in and my phone had a black dot on the screen and then 3 weeks later it developed into a white line across the screen. Just beware of the possible consequences of owning this phone and just know that the repair cost is expensive which is why I'll be changing phones.

Not only has my screen protector started creasing extremely bad, it is now coming up where the screen folds. I have had the phone for under a year, keep it clean and cased, and I have never dropped it on a hard surface. The more ridiculous part is Samsung knows about this issue and still, they only offer a "warranty screen repair" which will not fix the issue. They've even announced a galaxy Z flip 4 which will most likely have the same crappy screen protector and even crappier customer support from Samsung since it's not a flagship phone. (The attached photo is my phone screen)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Phone I have had this phone for about 2 months now and it has to be the worst phone I have ever owned. Please don't waste your money on this thing. The camera quality is terrible, the battery life is awful, I find myself having to charge it multiple times throughout the day. The flipping action is impossible to do with one hand so it's a pain in the butt to open it every time you need it. The facial recognition only works about 25 percent of time. I will definitely be switching to iPhone as soon as I can.

Even though I've not dropped my phone nor waste anything on it, the screen covering continues to peel away along with sounds of cracking and popping when I flip the phone to open it up. It's very unappealing with this air pocket between the center of the phone. It also gathers dust and lent long the edges and between the center of the phone. It's very irritating after a while. I purchased this phone over 1 yr and 3 months ago, but the separation and peeling of the screen began about 5-6 months after purchasing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEWARE of this model. DO NOT PURCHASE! I am unsure where to begin. I am currently writing this review on my laptop, as my 5th samsung galaxy z-flip 3 has yet again, broken. I admit, i am not perfect and i do sometimes drop things, and i always pay extra for any device of mine to have insurance. Tmobile has been my provider for nearly 9 years now.. During this time i have always maintained an active insurance plan for each and every device of mine (all samsung). I have never had to file a single claim for a broken device. I admit, some of my samsung devices had issues with battery life, but other than this i was always very happy with my samsung phones Until i became the Un-proud owner of the z-flip3. Now dont get me wrong, owning the phone at first was exciting, it is a conversation piece that when it debuted, people were just dying to get a look at. every day, i would hear "look! it's that folding phone!, its so cool!" or if approached, i'd often be asked "how do you like it?" and sadly, my response has always been the same "i hate it". i knew i had made the wrong purchase since day 1. I fully charged the battery, and followed all instructions for the device. I began to play around with the settings, and noticed that the battery of my phone which has been unplugged for 20 minutes, was now down to 78%, and decreasing quickly. I figured maybe it is not fully charged and the reading was inaccurate, and brushed it off, thinking that it was just a new phone issue, and after a few days, would resolve itself. Day 2 - the phone was still so new on the market, that when i purchased it, there were no phone cases available for me to purchase! I was walking into the supermarket, phone in hand, and i felt it accidentally slip out of my grip (due to the design and awkward dimensions), and hit the floor. I am not a tall man, im only 5'6'' and a drop from my hand to the floor is not a very long one (lol). i picked up my brand new phone, and my heart sunk. the front screen was shattered, the edges of the device were all scraped, and the camera was not working. i couldnt believe my bad luck, 2 days with the phone and it was done for. i returned and got a new one, thinking that maybe this 1st one was a lemon. Nope - same experience on device # 2, only this time the inside screen was peeling at the halfway folding point. This one lasted me a few months before it ultimately stopped working. Devices 3 and 4 - the main screen stopped working. device 5 - damaged upon arrival. All devices have had the same (horrible) battery life. I was told that due to the design of the folding device, the battery size was compromised, and is approximately 50% the size of a battery of a traditional , non-folding phone. I cannot go anywhere without a power-bank (mine is called Hillary a.k.a Hillary Banks), and i cannot count on two hands and feet the amount of times i was put into a bad situation because my phone had died rapidly or unexpectedly. the power bank becomes less of a power bank, and more like life support for the battery draining z-flip 3. i use a 20,000 power bank, one of the fastest and largest on the market, and even with this, the z-flip sucks it dry at record speeds. The cover screen is pointless, and is mearly just a display for the time. everything else which one would do, prompts the message "open your phone to continue". so silly. The flex-mode which is the point of this folding phone, is really only capable to work with a handfull of apps, and serves no real purpose. I will admit, the camera on the phone is amazing, and i have taken some very beautiful shots with it. Overall, id say to every consumer interested in this phone, to avoid for now! Samsung has still got some work to do on this folding device, and the two main things would be durability, and battery life. I'd also like for samsung to add some more "exclusive features" to these folding phones. Features that actually serve a purpose, and are not just asthetically pleasing, like the cover screen which serves 0 purpose. It shows notification bubbles (ex- messages, snapchat, facebook, etc), but it would not show you any information on these notifications. just the same "open screen to contine" message. So yeah, this exclusive cover screen, is really not so functional, and at times frustrating. Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not made to last I have had this product for 10 months. The screen essentially cracked in half. There are a bunch of hairline cracks in the fold. It makes the fold in the phone extremely noticeable and annoying. If you would have asked me a week ago if I like this phone, I would say that I love it. But now I am not impressed with the durability of normal use of the phone. The battery life sucks. But I knew that going in. So I bought an external charger to keep in my bag. I bought the additional storage, but now I wish that I had not. All the replacement options are less storage than I paid for, while I am still working with my carrier to pay off the phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not live up to claims Wanted to love this phone, but it doesn't live up to promises. The screen cracked on me with normal use after 8 months of use. I never drop my phone and I have never cracked a screen previously. There is no Samsung repair place anywhere near me and I had to ship it off. Even though it was still under warranty, I had to pay around $120 to have it fixed and I was without a phone for almost 2 weeks. It absolutely needed to be repaired because the cracked screen caused the microphone not to work. You guessed it, the repaired screen began to fail after 8 months of normal use. I traded it in, but got very little for the trade-in due to cracked screen. If you like replacing your phone every 8 months, this is a cool phone. If you like a durable phone that lasts for years, then get something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Z Flip3! Except... I have always been a Samsung user. I use my Z Flip 3 for everyday personal use. I have used it for business as well but I have purchased a second phone for that. I don't stream as much on here but when I do, I enjoy it because the quality of the videos are crisp. I mainly use it for web browsing for researching, watching you tube, and making phone calls. This phone is sturdy, lightweight, and compact and that's why I purchased it. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because of the battery life. I have to use the power saving toggle and it usually lasts me the whole day but I do have to charge it as soon as I get home. Ifbim out longer than expected i bring my charger with me to give it a boost. Good thing isnthatvit charges quickly. Other than that, this phone is all that I expected it to be!

Now 7 months after that, the folding screen is falling off again. But this time my phone is out of warranty. My options are to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a repair or leave samsung forever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from will randomly turn off after a little over a year. I bought the phone 1 year 2 months ago. Recently, the phone started to randomly turn off, and I'm not able to turn it on again if it's not plugged. I went to an official samsung customer care. Because it's more than 1 year, the phone is out of warranty. I've been told it's a loose connector, but because of how it's built, they will need to replace the whole screen, the repair costing almost $500. So after a bit more than a year I have a useless phone, it never got any scratches, but it costs as much as a new phone to fix. It seems it's done in purpose to discourage repairing it and forcing you to buy a new one.

I was very excited having had great a great experience with the other Samsung phone products in the past, but this phone is not up to that quality. Avoid ZFlip at all costs! 1 Year and out of warranty that's when the issues start.. doesn't hold as long a charge, protective film they use cracks at the crease, and the screen goes black when flipping the phone open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The phone I've been waiting for Versatile. I love this phone. Something as simple as a pivot creates an easy-going experience. Whether that's being able to study and have a video playing on the screen at the perfect angle, or taking a selfie with the ability to create different angles of view. Not to forget how comfortable I feel weilding this device knowing the screen is protected every time I fold it up. There's tons of more specs I could go on about but these things are what set this device apart from the competition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool but... I purchased this phone because when I went to get the Galaxy S series they were out of stock and I couldn't wait since my previous phone was broken. I like tge fact that it folds and it could fit anywhere. The screen feedback was pretty fast, camera was ok but not as good as the S series. Less than a year later the screen had some pixelation and there was something happening in the area when the screen folds. Needless to say I was disappointed since this is the only Galaxy phone that I've had that started malfunctioning without any reason.

Pixel and crease cracking issues will happen after the warrant expires and samsung will be of no help. These screens ultimately cost north of 400 dollars to repair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Processed Phone I've had this phone since end of August truly love the design. I brought a Otto Box which protects my screen and camera screen. So don't have screen problems. My daughter lives across the street from me, she can hear me talk I can't hear her, so she calls me back and we can now hear each other. It also will cut in and so only hear maybe every three words. Last time this happened I was on the phone with my Doctor. He had to recall me on my husband's old basic flip phone. I try to reach support but can't get through. I depend on phone.

After a year the screen cracked at the fold line to the point that you could feel it and it distorted what you see. Fortunately I purchased insurance and got it replaced. Now a week later there are a couple "stars" or a green light coming through the screen. They are very small. Also is already showing a gray line at the fold. I was going to keep this phone after it was paid off to avoid having to upgrade immediately but with the problems I have experienced I will have to purchase a new one that is not a flip. I have ad a Samsung Galaxy phone for many years but may try a different one next time.
