Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water Damage from sweat. I bought this watch when it first came out and thought it was great until it stops working and began heating up when charging. Send it to Samsung and was told that it was water damage and warranty is voided. WILL LAST ONLY 12 MONTHS. If you wish to pay $350 each year for a watch, then buy this at your own cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch Reviewed from an electronics engineer's (me) point of view. Great smartwatch, but I'm thoroughly confused as to how others are getting 3 days between battery charges. Yes, it takes a couple of charges at first to get longer battery life but the ONLY way I'd get 2 to 3 days is if I left it on the table and didn't use it at all. I mean at all. Listening to music with paired bluetooth earbuds for only a few hours, even with brightness turned down to 2 and nothing else running, means the charge lasts 1 day. They've GOT to come up with a longer lasting battery for smart watches. And how about a portable charging cradle-case with built in battery similar to what wireless ear buds have so it can be charged away from home? Lastly, MAKE IT FAST CHARGE CAPABLE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watch I have a Galaxy S10 plus and found this watch on an incredible buy on ebay. I have had it now for 5 months and absolutely love it. I swim laps at my local YMCA and it works flawlessly. I swim over a mile at a time and I have not seen any issues with the watch. I do know that when I put the watch to swimming mode it does something that might actually tighten the waterproofing (the watch says it is going into water lock mode and when I finish the laps and press complete, the watch says it is expelling water and coming out of water mode. I also do yoga and run walk. The watch is great for keeping track of all my physical activities and I can answer my phone or send texts using just the watch. Very cool features when my phone is in another part of the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy this watch if you plan to swim with it. Do not buy this watch if you plan to swim with it. Even though it has a swim mode, the warranty does not cover water damage. Mine went into an infinite reboot loop while I was swimming with it. Samsung confirmed it was still in the warranty period and instructed me to send it in for repair. Samsung then sent me a message that the repair would not be covered under the warranty because the damage was due to water. Samsung wanted $430 to repair it, which was substantially more than the purchase price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with daily used apps I bought this watch yesterday, I spent hours trying to figure out how to add more apps that are already installed on my Note 9 and I finally decided to contact Samsung support, I'm very disappointed to say that the watch it's NOT compatible with all the apps the phone can handle, Uconnect, Messenger, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Discover, etc... you only get what the watch supports and that's about it, I had a Moto360 before and that watch connected to about 90% of my apps installed on my Note 3 and Samsung Edge 6 and 7, I have always been a big fan of Android and Samsung but this time, an over 300 dollars smartwatch that mostly works to track my fitness levels, for that I could of have gone with a Fit-bit or something similar for less price, I'll be returning the watch to Best Buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch held back by Tizen I have enjoyed having this watch since I bought it, but did not realize that it was unable to access the Google Play Store due to the watch using a Tizen OS. So it means I am stuck with only Samsung apps and the hope that developers port there stuff to the Samsung store, which probably won't happen often. For notifications, being a watch, and some of the health stuff, this watch is great. It even looks like an actual watch, which is a huge plus for me. However, the choice to use Tizen as the OS is not great. I will not be buying another Samsung watch if the watches continue to use Tizen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very solid watch I replace a fitbit blaze with this Samsung Galaxy watch.. Fitbit does a great job on their smaller size watches, but the larger/smarter ones are not up to this level.. The battery was defective and the first one lasted 6 month.. the replacement lasted 14 months before acting up.. Now, the Galaxy watch is very nice, but I miss the easy of the fitbit web site allowing data exports to cafewell/power of Vitality.. Everything Galaxy does is based off your smart phone, no PC/Mac support.. Very sad.. Makes it hard to track long term health and get data over to a tracking website

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH I have had two watches fail within a year. I kept the records on the second one, sent it in and they denied warranty due to water damage. I suspected the first one failed because I swam with it (says to do that in the ad. The only possible water source for the second one is sweat. I live in Arizona. Sweat takes out a watch that you wear while exercising. The repair costs more than a new watch. I will not be buying anymore Samsung products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poorly assembled I received this product as a Christmas present and I will say that the functionality is wonderful and so is the battery life. However the plate that covers the sensor in the back slid off while I was working out. When I called to report the damage they informed me that this was not covered under the warranty. So I have a watch that I cannot use as now water and sweat can get in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, not with out problems Bought this watch at Target. Amazing watch but it would not record my heart rate while cycling. One day I took the watch off and the small round cap that covers the IR sensors, stuck to my wrist. I sent it to Samsung to be repaired under warranty and the technician that evaluated it noted that it had been damaged. I called three times and received different answers. I know I didn't damage it and the repair wasobrThe glue holding the Finally I just asked for the watch back. I took it back to Target and exchanged it for the same model. This new one works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The watch is great....but. The watch has held up for me and is really fun to have. I feel like I'm in a star trek movie lol. BUT! The only thing that is wrong with this watch is two things. The dial on the watch face is like butter and is easily scratched. I used a permanent marker to cover it and used the smudging technique lol. It's ok I guess but maybe Samsung needs to fix that cause I barely bumped a painted walls corner and now I have a unsightly scratch on the dial. The second thing is the speaker, the speaker quality is flimsy but easily avoided as long as you keep the volume at 50%. The scratch bothered me the most cause of the price. Not really worth the price if easily tarnished.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Brilliant Samsung Product... Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy Watch was a dream come true. I had been on the fence about a new smart watch since the battery times have been horrendous. I was wrong about the Galaxy Watch. I can safely say using it every day for notifications and hands free calling I am getting 3 days to a charge. Water resistant and shock resistant makes it wonderful for anything from a day at the office to a hike in the woods. You can even use the barometer/altitude widget for the hike. Working out I don't have to worry about keeping track of my health stats because it will do it for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WATCH MADE FROM THE MOVIES The things you can do with this watch is amazing , i can control my thermostat, call and actual write messages to people. Another good featuse that i like a bout it since i work in a office sitting alot is the health monitor that will tell you when it is time to get up and walk around. Also a great feature is the sleep monitor( which is very accruate which will tell you how long you were in various stages of sleep. the coolest part is paying with my watch at costco. also the battery ACTUALLY LAST FOR 3 DAYS which is great. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Smart Watch For Android The Galaxy Watch is a beautiful piece of tech. It will do everything that you could want from a smart watch and more! It's an amazing smart phone companion if you are in the market for a smart watch. Style, comfort - In my opinion the watch looks great overall. - The rotating bezel makes navigating and gestures simple. - Build quality is top notch. - The band could use a different material. I found my wrist getting extra sweaty while wearing it, especially while working out. - The 46mm is not too big and I couldn't notice the weight of it on my wrist throughout the day. Software - Tizen OS is the best option for Android phone users, as google has all but abandoned their own watch os. - There does seem to be a lack of apps, but hopefully app developers will get on this. - Do you research to ensure that the apps that you want are available. - overall, the OS is smooth and intuitive. - Step counting seemed accurate enough and the HR tracking works really well for stuff like cardio. - Like most smart watches, the galaxy watch isnt that great for weight lifting. - I love that there is a calculator on this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch, but lacking apps I use it most for swimming and exercising in the gym. Samsung Health is a good app, but very simple one and lacks customization to become a perfect one. I can’t customize my exercise routines with loads and repetitions. And it lacks some common exercises available in todays gyms. For indoors swimming it’s not precise and doesn’t detect the lenghts I swim. It should also have different swimming styles. So all in all I give it grade 7/10 for the apps that I think should be much better than the ones available. Watch faces are plenty, but apps is an area for improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPER SMART WATCH! I've been amazed at what I'm getting out from this watch. This is goes beyond what I imagined from having a Samsung Galaxy Watch. The battery life is amazing. I can get just over 2 days with a full charge, and if I'm desperate to get a quick charge, I use my Galaxy S10+'s charging option if I'm not home. Being able to customize the notifications is what makes this "smart watch" really smart. I get to pick which APPS I want to show on my phone so that I don't have to constant flip my watch to see what's buzzing with my busy-always-connected phone! The water proof feature is great for having young kids around and going into the pool/beach. When doing different routines for the kids such as meal preps, bedtime, and other daily fun stuff, I don't have to worry about taking off the watch when near water. When it's time to jump in the pool, I keep the watch on to see what call or messages are coming in; and I can answer the call or respond to the messages directly from the watch! Don't you hate the feeling of forgetting something when you leave the house? Well, as long as I have my phone/watch and my keys with me, I'm good! I can go shopping and don't have to worry about pulling out the credit card from my wallet. Samsung Pay works with either my S10+ or Galaxy Watch! It's fun to show the workers at the register how it works, and I constantly remind them, "It's Samsung Pay, not Apple Pay". When I forget where I left my phone, I can use the Find Phone tracking option to beep my S10+. It will continue to ring the phone until I find it and turn it off. I find this more helpful than the Apple Watch's tracking that just beeps the iPhone once, and you have to continue tapping on the button to make sure it keeps beeping until you find it. Overall, this Galaxy Watch is an awesome SMART WATCH. It's perfectly paired with the Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I'm sure that the experience from the watch alone stands out better than any other Smart Watch in the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back falls off i love this watch. i wear it day and night. i use it for everything. but at some point between sweat and the occasional swim the back piece falls off which means it's no longer waterproof and it can't take your heart rate. i have 2 of these, this happened with the first while still under warranty and it was fixed but now it's happened with the other and my warranty is over. i don't even want to call samsung because in the forum people have been told they need to pay more for the repair than they do for the watch! this is clearly a design flaw that needs to fixed since it eventually happens to almost every watch. my wrist feels naked but i can't wear it or i will lose the back piece! and i can't glue it or it will block the sensors. so what now samsung?????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worthless for health tracking I was given this watch as a gift for Christmas. I was super excited about it, but wound up being highly disappointed. NOTHING about the health tracking is even remotely accurate. Actually, I'd say it barely tracks anything at all. The heart rate monitor was all over the place, but at rest it would read 10-20% higher than my Fitbit or Galaxy S7 Edge Phone (which are both in line with each other and in line with manual measurement.) Despite the elevated heart rate, however, the calorie tracking was basically my BMR and did not seem to make any adjustments based on my activities or steps. I will say the steps may be relatively accurate - but again, for some reason this had no effect on calories burned. The counter does not register for flights of stairs climbed at all. I had days where my Fitbit logged 35 flights and the Galaxy had me at 3 flights. During the time wearing it I had days with 5-6 hours of physical labor, 12,000 or more steps, 35 flights of stairs climbed, etc. - and the watch may have been close on the step counter - but it had me at 2100 calories for the day (which is what I would burn plugging my height and weight into an online calculator and choosing "sedentary") while my Fitbit had me at 3,500 calories. I know the Fitbit may be high - but the Galaxy basically shows the same caloric burn whether I am wearing it or if it is sitting on my desk all day - within 200 calories. It is not tracking calories at all. So basically, none of the fitness functionality works remotely. This was a gift purchased at a discount for Christmas and I contacted Samsung 3X to see if we could make it work. Troubleshooting involved erasing the Wear App's data and cache, restarting the watch, restoring factory defaults on the watch, etc. - and I spent over an hour trying to get it to work before one tech finally suggested it may be faulty hardware. I am skeptical that this is faulty hardware because MANY other people online have complained about issues with the tracking for YEARS and Samsung seems to have made it worse and obviously doesn't care about improving it. So, I suggested if it is faulty hardware that we do an exchange and I will try it with another device. I was told my option is to return the device and buy a new one - except it is now $70 more than was paid for it! I was then told by another tech that I could send it in for a warranty repair and they would inspect it. Of course, by the time I get it back I am out of my return period. So my only real option is to return the watch and get my money back. This is the most disappointing experience I have ever had with ANY piece of technology. The watch is sold as having a heart rate monitor and fitness tracking. I can understand if it isn't up to par with a company that focuses only on the fitness tracking - but it doesn't really track ANYTHING. I could make random guesses at the information that would be more accurate. Based on the fact that Samsung tries to sell themselves as innovators in health tracking, sells this watch as having the ability to track health, and the lack of support (I have never felt backed into a corner quite the way I do right now for a product I just want to work) - I will never be purchasing another Samsung product again. I strongly suggest you look at another watch unless you just want to be able to answer calls on your watch and change your watch face, because that is basically all this thing does for $300+.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not really "Swim Ready" Watch not really Swim ready Water Resistant.  I am an avid runner and specifically purchased the Samsung Watch for mileage and tracking.   The only time water will touch my watch is during a jog in the rain, which is rare.  Yet it is advertised as Swim Ready.  My first repair request was for GPS failure.  My second repair request was due to the GPS not working at all.  Granted watch still under warranty but due to water damage Samsung wanted me to pay a repair cost of $329.08.  So the watch is currently selling for $299 on the website and you want me to pay $329.08 for a watch that is on its 2nd trip to the repair shop.  No thanks, just will look else where for another watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch is OK. Pulse measurement requires fixing. Pulse measurement constantly shows higher than real values. Especially when pulse is higher than 100. I have Samsung Note 9 and measured pulse with it. It is correct and corresponds to the pulse measurement made with a tonometer. A watch might show pulse 200 when in reality a pulse is 145. It happens all the time as soon as pulse becomes higher than 100. The higher the pulse, the higher is the discrepancy between a watch and phone / tonometer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I waited for the Galaxy Watch I wasn’t overly impressed with early smart watches, in large part due to limited battery life. But the Galaxy Watch changed that. Depending on use and outside air temp, I get a good 3 days out of a single charge, sometimes close to 4 days. And answering and speaking on phone calls is easy, and the speaker and mic are sensitive enough that I can drive with my arm in a normal position on the steering wheel, or when walking by my side. The caller can easily hear me, and I can hear them easily. When playing music I can control the tracks effortlessly. Text notifications, weather alerts, financial messages all appear when I want them, and it’s easy to opt out when I don’t want to be bothered. A great watch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a tough wearable like no other I bought the original gear over 3 years ago. I work in a factory environment that is very impact and hand movement intense. I have hit the watch and broke bands but never damage the watch itself. Battery life even after 3 years is 2 1/2 days and charges in 60 minutes still In short I would recomend this product for military and hard use enviorment it is a great edc watch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very stylish and works well, but... i chose this over iwatch because i wanted a smartwatch that looked like a watch without spending $2,500 for a tag. it works great and with the add-on silver band is exactly what i was looking for. it does not play nice with my iphone. it’s constantly dropping the bluetooth connection but it wants to be paired to the galaxy app to do anything, which then forces me to connect the wi-fi which drains the battery (and doesnt update any of the on-watch apps which need connection to the galaxy app on the phone. it’s a frustrating catch-22). you can’t get play store either, forcing use through thr watch (a real pain). never had these issues with fitbit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The quality when i first got the watch it was fine, or so i thought. the watch already had issues with the back button and had lag when pressing it or it just didn't respond mutiple times. then obviously i ignored it. after a few months the watch just lagged all the time and the home button didn't respond too. i only use my watch on runs and charge it so i dont think anything could have damaged it. then now i use the workout tracker which also doesn't work, i have to try multiple times for it to start a workout, and now it barely even tracks it. i was so excited to get it at the start and then it just had so many issues and now it finally added up and its annoying me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't trust water-resistant, please read had issues with the battery, sent in thinking would be covered under warranty. was told there was water leakage under the lcd screen and it got on the motherboard which is not covered. the repair cost, $339.89! new watch on samsung website, $279.99. samsung claims watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters, for 30 mins, please do not believe this. most i've done with this watch is get water on it while washing my hands. i've explain to support how i don't dispute that it got water damage, i just feel like the watch didn't meet the standards samsung advertise. she told me that since they don't know how i got the water damage it wouldn't be covered and i reply, i don't know how the watch was made but i'm the one out of luck. owned gear fit2, s2, s3 frontier, this but now switching to garmin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from watch defect I bought my watch mid 2019 and i loved it. In April 2020 after i got done working out one day i come home and got a notification from my phone that my watch was disconnected. Before working out i know i had 13% battery life so i thought it went dead so i put it on charge after a min or so i notice it was not charging this was very odd so i remove it from the charger and put it back on charge, again not charging. so i began to inspect the watch come to find out the little glass back was missing. How and when it came off i have no idea. i call Samsung and they told me my watch was out of warranty less than a year old. after been on the phone for two hours multiple emails later they decide to send it in for repair. two days later i receive a letter saying i need to pay $340 for the repair because water got into it. After 4 hours back and forth no one can explain to me how the back of a water tight device came off. A manager told me its MY FAULT and i should check my device everyday for defects.WOW Samsung customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Started off Loving it..... i started off loving this watch. the ability to view texts without taking out my phone. take calls through the watch. control my music through it. all of that lovely stuff. my main reason was to have a daily watch that i can use to track my running. a little under a year after buying it i had some tracking issues but believed they were due to strava.... it was the watch itself closing out the app, along with progressively worse gps tracking and poor battery life. avoid this watch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleep tracker feature The sleep tracker did not record correct result. I am uploading the screenshots, as you can see the screen captured on Nov 5 was the old watch and the rest of them are from the new Galaxy watch 46mm silver. I have tested with Galaxy wach 42mm and the old Gear S2, both have the similar results, except the new Galaxy silver 46mm. Is this fixable by software with new releases or should I return the watch to store?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful maybe i received a defective watch. hopefully, i did. this has to be the worst smartwatch i have ever owned. it never stays synced. i've had to send it in for repairs. the screen doesn't wake up when i lift my wrist, eventhough it is set to do so. it won't go to sleep when i cover it. also set to do so. i hate it. i was so excited since my previous version died. it's on my plan as a stand alone. unsyncs itself whenever. this one must have a.i. with an awful attitude. wow. killed my smartwatch experience. i will never purchase one again from samsung. and don't get me wrong, i only use samsung phones and watches, and i loved them. but as soon as my contracts are up....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new watch I love my new watch. Had to order a longer band for it. Only a few minor issues with it so far both while at work. One had to turn off notifications when watch disconnects and reconnects with the phone. I move big rig tailers at work and keep my phone in cab and would lose connection when I get out to open trailer doors and reconnect when i get back in cab. I also had to turn off when it thinks your cycling cause when i was driving around the lot or inside on forklift watch thought i was cycling. Last thing is doesn't count going up and down stairs if you use the railing. But those are still minor things to me. I still love my watch and would tell anyone to get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This review for S3 Classic Had watch for just under 3 years and paid $379 plus change for it. After a slow death the last few month from poor firmware/software it finally died. Now I'm looking for a new watch but as the Galaxy watch is almost two years old I'm afraid to drop this much money for something to dated and might be replaced soon. That stinks because now I will either be without a watch, have to buy an Android Wear model or really look at the junk Apple product. No more sleep tracking....this sucks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just looks cool, that's about it. I used be an Android user. After I broke my LG eight years ago I had to borrow an Apple iPhone 4s until my contract was update and get a new phone. I ended up staying with and iPhone for the next 8 years. The operating system was easy and it just worked. This year I decided I wanted to get back to an Android. I thought the Note 10 and Galaxy Watch looked pretty cool. I was not happy with how small the Apple watch looked on my wrist. So I took the leap and switched. I regret that now after 30 days of use. The biggest frustration I have is Bixby. Bixby is no way close to Siri. I can use 'Hey Google; on the Note 10, but there is no easy way to use speaking commands on the Galaxy Watch. I should have just looked on Facebook and bought a Galaxy Watch for $200 or less. There are a lot of people selling them. Another good sign they are not happy with the watch. 15 days is not enough time to set up a phone and watch and determine if it is going to work the way you want it to. I am good to have to eat the cost of this and hope Verizon has a good deal on iPhones so I can switch back. If you are already Apple just stay. I miss the easy set up and syncing with the other Apple product int he house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Galaxy Watch Bought the Galaxy watch three weeks ago. Upon unboxing the watch, it came with the following accessories: Watch face (With large band attached) USB Cable (Type A mini USB) Samsung USB Wall adapter (Have plenty of these laying around the house from previous Samsung devices, but it's nice that they included one) Galaxy Watch Wireless Charging Dock Small 20 mm strap Upon unboxing the device, I first noticed the size of the watch itself. The watch itself is 46mm (As in the description). Display consists of a 1.3 inch Super AMOLED Display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ at a resolution of 360x360 pixels. I then proceeded to put the watch on my wrist and proceeded to turn it on. First thing I did was to scroll through the widgets. It comes pre-loaded with common widgets that you would find on any Samsung smart phones and plenty to choose from. After choosing the widgets I wanted to display, I proceeded to download some more watch faces from the Samsung Galaxy Store (Note that the Galaxy watch uses the Tizen OS, which is Samsung's Propiertary OS and not WearOS from google), after which I chose a watch face I liked and then put the watch on the charger. One of the big features that I like about this smartwatch is the ability to download watch faces and customize the watch to your liking. Battery life for the way I use this watch (Always on Display Off) lasts about four days, which is how long the battery lasts under the specifications Samsung advertises for this watch. However, battery life goes down to two days, according to Samsung, if you use the Always on feature. I cannot confirm this however, as I have not tried the always on display feature. In conclusion, this is a good performing watch. I have not regretted purchasing this watch one bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy! I purchased after my Fitbit Charge 2 failed at end of June 2019 through Verizon before going on vacation. Found the watch will not count floors properly despite advertised as a fitness watch. By the time I contacted Verizon the 15 day return policy had passed. They replaced the watch twice with same result. Reset to factory a number of times with no change. The watch still does to perform a basic function as tracking floors or any activity where your wrist is semi stationary, like mowing the lawn. Both of these the fitbit handles without issue for a fraction of the price. Found a number of forums going back years indicating Samsung is aware but is unable or unwilling to resolve the issue. dissatisfied with a $400 fitness watch... do not buy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great User Interface Lacks Toughness Factor I was given this watch as a gift. I really like the user interface and works great with my S9+. Features are very good, but ergonomics aren't the best. When I work out at the gym I cannot wear it while lifting weights. When I bend my wrist it activates the buttons and shuts the watch off during my workout! Also since it uses rubber band and standard watch pins they will pop off with a light amount of pressure. I am a guy who likes tough watches. My go to is my 10 yr old GShock, but I really wanted a digital watch. This is not a rugged watch by any means. If you go to the office and don't work out and do anything outdoors this watch is great. I will probably replace it with a Garmin or Sunnto in the future.

Phone only fully operates with phones S8 generation and newer it seems. Samsung had option or support to bridge gap between an S6 and this unit (compatability issue). Just another way to force you to upgrade phone, since downloading wear app, phone glitches like crazy. Had to uninstall app, reset phone and return watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inaccurate fitness features I like the smart features of the watch. But some fitness tracking features are disappointing, not fixed even after a year and reporting bugs to Samsung. Heart rate reading often drops in runs. Pool swim lap counting often freezes mid workout. Sleep tracking phases are off compared to Garmin or Apple watch. Most egregious is open water swim just doesn't work, consistently drops and resets distance to 0. Samsung, why would you advertise this feature if you didn't work it through? Just too many issues, I love Samsung phones and TVs but ditching this watch for another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be aware this watch is not water resistant at all! product specs state: water-resistant up to 50 meters per iso standard 22810:2010. i bought one in november 06, 2018, wore it in water (swimming pool) and it was dead in 2 wks. yes, i went through the process of clearing the water. i received another one, i was coaching soccer and it started to rain very hard for 20 min. i took my watch off and it in my pocket after 5 min in the rain and the digitizer had a growing spot on it so i sent it back. samsung told me i had to pay $235 to get it fixed, didn’t pay that. received my third watch after a fight. i got back from vacation in colorado, didn't rain at all, and now it's completely dead when i tried to pair it with another. it's a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watch, failed too soon. i have owned my galaxy watch 46 for a little over a year. until 1 month ago when it no longer would read hr and the wake up gesture does not work any longer. the 2 main features that i loved and used the most on my watch. i've owned and still own countless samsung devices, and this is not the quality i'm used to. unfortunately, i will not longer be able to keep this watch, as it cannot perform the functions i need from it. i am now forced to pay $117 just for the wake up gesture issue, and i don't want to know how much it would be to fix the hr issue. the cost of a new watch it seems. i loved my watch, i believe this is where my loyalism to samsung will end, as they cannot honor such a simple gap after warranty expired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch is garbage; Apps even worse i have been using this watch for almost 2 years now. at first, setting up some apps like spotify - worse app possible on this thing - were difficult. the watch can be cumbersome to use at times. i was deployed recently and not able to hit ports due to the virus which made it impossible to do updates on the watch or the app on my phone; when i returned and was able to update both, the watch has been even worse to operate than before. the heartrate monitor does not track well at all if at all especially during workouts - which is the point of the watch - and i have gone through all of samsungs "problem solving" to correct the issue with little change. terrible watch for the $260 i spent on it. hope the ear buds aren't this bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The worst watch I have ever had extremely disappointed. - constantly asks for bixby update ( this has been the worst thing about it) - in built apps exhaust/ eat up most of the storage -extremely uncomfortable to wear -causes sweat and marks on the wrist - terrible battery life -only way to make the battery last for a day is to use power saving mode - when dead and fully recharged, should turn on. i remember often wearing it after full recharge not realizing its still off. ( does not make it a smart watch , eh ? ) - no gps makes it really not worth it price -software interface to add/ delete tracks, images other content is very cumbersome - surely, it could have been a great product have they designed and built it from the perspective of user experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very 'whelmed by this watch watch is decent, and does what you want it to ~95% of the time, which isn't bad, but you must ask youself if thats the kind of success you want for the money it costs. about 1 in 20 workouts will crash and record no data. heart rate has improved, but i would still consider on the finicky side. dont even get me started on the altimiter. all in all, it works just well enough to not justify replacing it, but that doesnt feel like a very satisfactory way to spend hundreds of dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great piece that checks all the boxes I've been on the smartwatch fence for a few years -- nearly purchased the Galaxy Gear S3 and another model before, but held, hoping feature sets would improve -- and boy did they. I'd foregone watches about 7-8 years ago, since I always had my phone. Finally something that complements my phone rather than merely duplicates one of it's features. Getting used to wearing one again was fun - I'd be in the car ready to leave for work & have to run up to grab it off the charger! On to the impressions Pros: Setup & Pairing - super simple, well guided & even had a seamless transition to activate LTE - NICE! Calls - easy ability to view/take/reject/respond. I also love being able to keep my phone permanently muted now & not worry about missing calls. Quick spam identification for calls I didn't want & the calls I did take were good quality - no, I didn't feel like James Bond AT ALL :) Activity reminder - good to get you off your rear end when you have an office job Watch Faces - there are TONS... many great free options too (more on that later!) Long Battery Life - 4 days on my first charge Very intuitive navigation with the bezel rotation; no center buttons make sure of no accidental wrist clicks.. Samsung Pay worked great on my 2 attempts thus far (wish MST support wasn't removed though) Excellent AMOLED screen - bright and vivid! Great Low power mode - still allows for call & message receipt Awesome waterproof rating A few cons: Handwriting got cAsEs or letters wrong - hopefully there's a learning mode Some notifications only give a "show on phone" option, even short Cycling Apps & Google Maps missing?? The inbuilt cycling tracker is good, but doesn't have my history/social network/team tracking Activity Reminder - "OK mom, I'll get off my butt" (ok, this is a pro) The breadth/availability of certain apps the Tizen platform is the only reason this isn't the perfect solution for me right now. I understand the rotating bezel isn't supported by wear OS... but would've gladly exchanged that for larger support by developers. One of my FAVORITE finds thus far - Don't like the watch face? Make your own! https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy-watch/design/watch-designer has templated options for novices, as well as tight controls for coders! I've downloaded a few from the store, but have my own custom design in planning! Final verdict? This is an excellent watch: Great features, few opportunities, lots of customization options -- highly recommended! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No functionality with Pixel 2 Just purchased Galaxy watch lte and thoroughly disappointed. First, you can only setup the mobile connection if you have a Samsung phone (I have a pixel 2). This is the primary reason I bought the watch and the compatibility issue was not well advertised. Second, the watch fails to sync text messages via Bluetooth connection with my phone. Come on Samsung. This watch is likely getting returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely an upgrade! The new Galaxy Watch 46mm LTE surpassed my expectations. The interface is way more polished. The design is intuitive. It seamlessly paired to my Galaxy Note 8 cell phone. I was able to connect the watch to a second line and for all purposes I have two cell phones. I can call, text, and use apps right on my watch even if my phone is off. I made calls and answered calls using the watch to test this functionality and no one could tell the difference in audio quality compared to a regular phone call. Samsung gets extra points for that. The bend design is different in this edition and way sleeker in my opinion. The battery life is much better than the previous model, it last me two full days using it extensively going back and forth between LTE & Bluetooth. For a regular user it should comfortably last four days. I have recommended it to family and friends. My brother got a Samsung watch too and loves it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first Smart Watch (Like v Dislike) read on I pre-ordered this 42 mm Samsung Smart Watch, it been the first one that took my fancy. The main reason was I didn't like the large size face of the ones currently on the market. and this is excellent in looks, Very smart and very easy to use. Connected to my Galaxy S8 without a hitch in the month since receiving it. Very pleased that I bought it, but one criticism I have is the Altitude & Barometer are virtually useless. I have tried setting them manually and still they give wrong information. I have O/S Maps and Garmin that give me the correct height above sea level and a barometer which gives me the correct pressure reading and there is no way to get the two on the watch to correspond with them. If it;s on the watch it should be reasonably accurate. Other than that I love the watch, It looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So pleased to have this watch! I gave up watches a number of years ago since I always had my phone with me, but after my fitness tracker died in 2017, I bought their smart watch last year. While it was okay, it was not everything I wanted in a smart watch. The Samsung Galaxy LTE 46mm that I got is. The Galaxy Watch syncs so quickly with my phone and I love the features it provides. I have downloaded a couple of custom watch faces, but will probably try building my own at some point. The fitness tracking is excellent, but I was amazed at how accurate the sleep tracking is as well. I have yet to use the Samsung Pay feature, but will be doing so soon. The LTE is a very nice feature. I can leave my phone behind, yet still stay connected. You can even customize your quick text responses. The only drawback on the LTE feature I have found is I have gotten a couple a calls and text messages on the number that was assigned to the watch that you are unable to respond to. The battery life is also a PLUS, I am getting a good 4 days with a charge and can easily charge it while sitting at my desk. The reminders to get moving have been nice too, since I tend to get focused at my desk and forget to move regularly. I am loving this watch and the features it brings to my wrist! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time to upgrade! I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it has been everything I expected it to be! I bought the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 Classic when it first launched and was immediately hooked. If you are wondering if you should upgrade then I can tell you that now is the time. The Galaxy Watch has a battery that can last for 3 days easy. My Gear S2 started to last around 3/4 of a day and this has been a very welcomed improvement. The Galaxy Watch also has a nice etched crown that makes the watch look more like a traditional watch and the haptic feedback from rotating the bezel feels crisp. The 46mm watch face is huge so if you have a smaller wrist you may want to consider the 42mm version. The screen on this watch is by far the best I have seen. The watch faces look good enough to pass as a real watch with the always on feature as well as the intense brightness. I would recommend turning down the brightness to about 3 out of 10 as the watch comes with an Outdoor mode that will change the brightness when it detects sunlight. Rated 5 out of 5 by from An everyday Watch! One of the reasons I purchased this watch is because you can customize it to use everyday for any occasion. The custom watch faces can change from a classic watch for a formal event to a sport face for fitness. You can even add the "ticking" sound!. The special tracking features are a plus. The internal GPS sends your route information to you phone to track your fitness progress. You can also pair up your wireless earbuds for music, calls and fitness coach. I also like how it reminds you to move when you are standing still for a period of time. This watch wants you to be active. The internal speaker also lets you listen to music and answer calls. There are more features to discover on this watch and I cant wait to find them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Potential Watch itself is great, It is made well and durable. The problems are the apps many of them do not run correctly if at all. If better quality apps are made this would be five star review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lacking Samsung Pay for legacy Point of Sale I was waiting for the redesign of this watch but was disappointed to learn that the watch would lack support for Samsung pay to make purchases on legacy Point of Sale systems. Despite the fact that many retailers are moving towards NFC support, Samsung pay has stood out by having this unique feature. Removing this feature limits my ability to leave my wallet, and my phone, behind when making purchases. Despite beauty and evolution of the Galaxy Watch, this is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT......Also, the history of limiting the 4g devices to specific carriers is a real turn off to any Samsung Device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have an AT&T LTE Gear S3 - waiting for the AT&T I like my Gear S3 a lot, It is getting a bit worn and I think I would like some of the additional capability of the Galaxy Watch. But AT&T LTE is a requirement and so far I have not found any solid evidence that such will be forthcoming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read This before you buy a Galaxy Watch. Galaxy Watch can only use cellular connection with a Samsung S7+ unlike the previous geneation of Galaxy Watch. Don't buy it unless you have a Samsung S7+ Phone. They should add this info to a flashing red banner or at least add it to the product page 'prominently' placed. I own tons of Samsung watches\phones but I wont be buying anything from them, in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Looks, needs more work. I fell in love with my watch from the very beginning - great features, looks, adore ability to change faces, the battery life is amazing. One issue revealed itself when I returned to my work - cruise ship. Since I am constantly at sea, have to turn off the location feature in order to measure accurate distance while jogging. The watch lags behind - by the end of 3 miles it shows I only accomplished 2 miles. I had to restart the watch twice while running in order to bring it up to speed - very inconvenient. Please correct this glitch, I do enjoy the product and get lots of positive feedback from my colleagues, plus have been your loyal and proud owner of various Samsung products for years now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Watch! I am so happy with this watch!!! I had the Samsung Gear S2 for years now, and this watch is definitely an upgrade!! I really like the size of the screen and the two tone bezel of the watch. Definitely gives it a much more masculine look and feel to it. I am a big guy and so the S2 was a little too small for my wrist, but this actually feels and looks like some of my other designer watches. The display size makes it all the much easier to to use. The charger also seems to be a better design and holds the watch more securely over the previous version. The ridges on the dial help give a much more secure grip and makes it easier to turn the face dial on the watch. This is an all-around step up and no longer see myself using my old reliable S2 any longer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch but step counter is awful! This is a solid watch but its step counter is always 20-30% off the mark. I hope Samsung will correct this in the near future because if they don't, not many people will buy this watch ever again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should Get 5 Stars, But Not Until Bugs Are Fixed My experience with the Galaxy Watch 46 mm has been mixed. The battery life is better than the prior generations which is a BIG factor for many users. I like that it's water proofed and the bezel feels smoother and tighter than earlier models. It's a large watch for me, but I wanted a big clear display, which it delivers. The BT speakerphone is very good and more than what I expected. Overall, I REALLY LIKE the watch. But I am willing to return it if the problems with the software aren't corrected. Even at $320 it's not the cheapest watch and I expect to get my money's worth. This is my 2nd Galaxy watch. The first one constantly lost the HR monitoring function and the step counter was grossly inaccurate. The newest one loses the HR function during the night, and it doesn't record all steps. I reloaded all software on my phone, purged the watch, purged S Health app, and am waiting to see what happens. The last watch I had before this was a Classic S2. It performed flawlessly. I bought the Galaxy based on my previous experiences with Samsung products. The concern I have is when Samsung will be releasing a software update for the inaccurate step counter, heart rate monitor that stops working, and the stair counter which misses most of time. Since I use mine more for schedules, reminders, phone calls and not for health applications, I can live with it as long as Samsung fixes the aforementioned issues. I was told at a BB store that the update is 2 weeks out, which I'm hoping is true. There is no point to keeping a partially working new watch. Samsung should have proofed the watch more before introducing it. Today it's already on sale for $30 less. That helps those of us who are affected by the issues, but still doesn't make it worth keeping if a fix isn't delivered soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beyond Expectations I didn't expect much when I received my new Galaxy Watch however once I opened it and powered it on my expectations quickly changed. Having owned several smart watches over the years I expected this to be just like the rest. I've quickly became bored with previous watches and felt them to be extremely fragile for my day to day use. However with my new galaxy watch I find it to be a very attractive watch that feels more durable than others. Now I don't take full advantage of the watches capabilities,(yet). I do like the many available watch faces to choose from and the ability to leave my phone in my pocket and still be able to view my notifications and receive phone calls. This Watch has become my daily go to. I can't wait to learn everything else it's capable of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Watch - Just keeps getting better I absolutely love this watch and use it as my everyday wear. Samsung has created an excellent all round smartwatch. The appearance of this watch is high end and because it takes a regular 22mm band, there are options to upgrade the watch band. I currently have a black leather band attached and have worn the watch to many formal events. I have received many positive complements from people who can't believe it a smart watch. I also own the Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S3. This watch has taken the best and improved it. Sleek design and a battery that will last for well over a day. The lte cellular is excellent as well in this watch. I have it paired to my Samsung Note 8 and it works flawlessly. No longer do I need to carry my phone while at the gym or running. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Android wearble by far Have been using the watch for about a month and its awesome. Honestly like it much more than I thought I would and battery life is great. Its a must buy if you have a Samsung phone as it syncs with your phone upon powering up and makes setup a breeze. In just a few minutes, you email, calendar, etc. are all availible automatically. Have been especially impressed with how well the watch's reminders work. I have a lot of meetings at work and this watch is a god send by sending out 30 min. notifications about things that are upcoming. Very slick device and the price isn't bad at all. Extra bonus: it actually LOOKS like a watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really really love it Before buying this I read the reviews. You don't wanna buy something so expensive without reading about it first. Anyway I saw allot of good ones but with the good there are some bad. I took these bad reviews into account when I bought the watch. I have owned this watch for about a month now and it's amazing. I haven't had any issues with it and two of my friends bought it because they liked it so much. Before I made the switch to Galaxy I always wanted an apple watch but I didn't like how they looked now that I own a galaxy I saw they watch and loved it. It so clean I don't have any issues with this. It is expensive but if you have the money for it and you wanna try it. Full send it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made, but lacking apps I recently bought this watch, deciding to stay in the Samsung family because my phone is. It's a great design and build, accurate (as far as I can tell) with steps, heart rate, and stress; and it does a great job keeping me active. However, what keeps this from being an excellent, must-get watch is that there is no cross-over with Android Market/Google Play. So much of what android OS users do is connected with Google Play, and to not have access to it within the watch is a huge oversight. This needs to be addressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart Watch Done Right Samsung has done an amazing job crafting the Galaxy Watch. First of all lets talk about the design of the Galaxy Watch. I opted for the 46mm version opposed to the 42mm watch. I was not disappointed.I'm able to get about 3-1/2 to 4 days of usage before recharging the device. I really put the watch through its paces to test the battery life. The Galaxy Watch not only looks premium, it also feels premium. Its constructed with quality materials which has turned a few heads. I even like the band as it fits comfortably around my wrist. Since I do have the larger watch, I grazed some objects with the bezel due to its size. Now lets talk about features. The Galaxy watch has so many cool and useful features. 1. Multiple Watch Faces 2. Rotating Bezel 3. Awesome Stress, Sleep, and Heart Rate Tracking 4. Multiple exercise tracking apps 5. 3rd party App integration 6. Samsung Pay I really enjoy using the Galaxy Watch, Samsung does have a few improvements to consider with the next iteration in my opinion though. Here are some suggestions for improvement with the next ideration. 1. Better app integration. No Google Maps or Youtube Music app. 2. Bixby assistant lacking. Sounds like a robot, and is not full featured. 3. Limited charging options. I could only charge with the dedicated charger or with my s10 powershare option. 4. Limited functionality outside of Samsung phone's ecosystem. All in all, the Galaxy Watch is a great smart watch for those who are really in tune with fitness. Having a multitude of apps to track individual exercises makes this a perfect option for fitness enthusiast. It may be overkill for the average Joe with its smart features, but I recommend especially if you own a Samsung device. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!! Amazing watch!!! I've had this watch for almost 2 weeks now and I am beyond amazed by how much quicker and responsive this watch compares to the Galaxy S2 gear. The battery life on this watch is good. I get a good 2-3 days on a single charge. My old watch has to be charged daily. The initial setup took about 10 minutes for it to configure to my old watch. Since I own a Galaxy phone, it was super easy to get the watch to work with my phone. I love how I get text message and phone notification on my watch. No need for me to check my phone every few minutes while I'm working. Plus the convenient of swiping and hanging up phone calls from your watch is a plus for me. I'm in meeting throughout the days and a lot of time I mute or turn off my phone during meetings. Now I can leave it on and it won't disturb me while I'm in a meeting. I like the layout of the phone but prefer a square watch over circle. Plus the watch is a little bigger that I'm used too. I hope Samsung makes a square watch as well. I recently got my wife the Galaxy Active watch and she loves the simplicity of the watch. She uses everyday especially when shes at work and at the gym. It keeps her active which she loves. This watch is a big improvement over past watches from Samsung. I love that they just call it Samsung Watch now instead of the Gear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Gear S3 with advance freatures It's Samsung again guys, creating another exciting smartwatch. This time it's a stylish, faster and long battery. The screen itself is big and clear. It fits my hand perfectly. Thought it would be bulky but sits on well. I use Samsung gear S3 smartwatch. But now I am addicted to this new one. This watch suits both my formal and casual wear. The strap is made of silicon material and is super comfortable. Working out with this watch is easy & doesn't slip off while jogging or jumping jacks. It keeps tracks of my everyday routine. The health app syncs well with my Samsung s8 phone. I am definitely going to switch my older watch with this one. Thanks, Samsung for making a better smartwatch for everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garbage! Got this to help with workouts. Turns out it's almost no help at all. Just took a 3600 step walk on the treadmill and got credit for 900 steps! The watch and the phone never agree on steps. According to the watch my pulse never changed either. Have had inactivity alerts turned on since I got the watch and have yet to receive one. It will however tell me when I've been asleep even though I haven't. The watch faces look like cartoons and the body of the watch is not comfortable to wear. For a 4th gen device it is very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Smartwatch Perfected The Galaxy Watch LTE is the most recent and best smartwatch I have used to date. Unlike models from just last year the new Galaxy Watch has a true multiday battery with up to 3 days standby. It features a real watch look and feel with rotating bezel and uses a standard 22mm watch band. With this watch I have left my phone at home for the day. The Galaxy Watch is full LTE coverage with the same phone number as my cell phone. I can make and receive calls, send and receive emails, texts and with the Samsung browser even view web sites. It pairs great with the Galaxy Buds for music listening on the go. But the best feature is Samsung Pay. It allows me to pay via my credit or debit cards at most every store I have tried. Samsung Pay in the Galaxy Watch is very secure because your full card number is encrypted and when you remove the watch it locks Samsung Pay via a pin number. When you put on the watch you just enter your pin number to unlock Samsung Pay. It also has automatic fitness and sleep tracking including automatic pulse measurements. The watch charges from any Samsung wireless charger for easy travel and no special items needed. It can even power share from the Galaxy S10 phones if needed. The model I purchased has a 46mm screen with built in Bluetooth and LTE Coverage via eSIM for fast connectivity to the mobile network carrier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Watch Ever !! I have had the watch a little over a week now and I have been wearing it almost 24/7. The battery life is really good. I get almost three days out of it before charging with a good amount of use. I know there was some issue early on regarding the step counter, but I have tested this out several times and it is almost spot on. Give or take a couple of steps. Perhaps this has been resolved since then. Anyway, I highly recommend this watch if you have an Android phone. It has been great for me thus far. If things change I will update my review, but for now it's five stars. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smart Watch Excellent smart watch I have always had smart watch with wear os and this time I dared to try with the galaxy watch LTE with its tizen os. I love the smart watch and it flows better than the wear os. The samsung health app is better than google fit. The only thing that I see negative is that the function of mobile network to be able to receive calls if I am far from my cellphone does not work with my LG G7 ThinQ smart phone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Watch I was on the fence for a long time about having a smartwatch since I felt I could do everything with my phone that I could with a smartwatch but boy was I wrong. I love that I don't have to pull out my phone to see who is calling or reply quickly to a text or even set an alarm. Further, I don't have to even have my phone with me with the LTE version so I can go for a walk, or run to the store and not have to make sure I have my phone with me. My wife can send me a message with items that may not be on the list for me to get and I don't have to have my phone as they will come to my watch and I don't have to make multiple trips. I also don't have to worry to check my phone before I head home or throughout the day to make sure while it is on vibrate I don't miss anything because my watch will vibrate and I will definitely notice that versus my phone being in my pocket or on my desk or even in my laptop bag. This watch has all the features I didn't even know I wanted and more. This was definitely a great purchase and I have had the opportunity to show it off to so many friends, family members and coworkers and even a few strangers who see it and have questions or just want to know more about it. It definitely stands out but also goes with everything, from a suit and tie to jeans and a t-shirt or even at the pool. I am now definitely a smartwatch guy and more over I am a Samsung Galaxy Watch guy and am really glad I gave this watch a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't regret this watch I've had my smartwatch for about 2-3 months now. I fought the urge to buy one for 4 years but finally gave into the Samsung Galaxy Watch. It's been great so far. I'm usually able to go about 3 days before having to charge mine. It Measures heart rate, stress, I can control my Google play music app and Samsung music app without touching my phone at all, I can leave the house without my phone and still get my calls, notifications and texts. I've been able to track all my workouts and it has a great look. From time to time I get a small glitch (might happen twice in a month) but usually it works itself out with the push of the back button. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Galaxy Watch is Powerful and Aesthetic! Initially, I noticed my new 46mm Silver Galaxy Watch was a beautiful device that has an aesthetically shaped stainless-steel body and a gorgeous 1.3" circular Super AMOLED screen that is crisp, clear, and easy to read, even in bright sunlight. I also like the fact that it is Corning Gorilla Glass DX+, which is means it is visibly elegant and invisibly tough. Even though I have done my fair share of bumping into corners and such, it remains unscathed. Pairing my Galaxy Watch with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was painless and easy. The software on both phone and watch is very intuitive. I love how they walk you through an introduction of your watch, leading you with a few interactions to help familiarize you with the everything. Well done Samsung! During setup, it also sensed that I had the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi + 4G LTE version of the Galaxy Watch and it quickly walked me through setting up my watch to use with my carrier. This means that when I leave my phone at home, I can still get all my phone calls and text messages on my watch, as well as info from my different apps. It has a powerful 472 mAh battery that gives me 3+ days of heavy and very active usage. Now, I will say that about two weeks ago, I received an update to the watch software, and both the battery life and how quickly it charges has improved. It’s nice to see Samsung actively working on improving the overall experience. One of my favorite features of the Galaxy Watch is that the water resistance, which is now at 5 ATM which is 165-foot submersion with IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certifications. This is far more protection than most people will ever need. Before I go into the water, I simply activate Water Mode and away I go. And when I'm done, I deactivate water mode and it plays a special "tune" that insures all the water is "bounced" out from the speaker. And yes, it has a speaker and a microphone so that I can originate and answer phone calls from my wrist, as well as play music over the speaker for those times when I forget my Bluetooth headset. The microphone appears to have amazing noise cancelling tech as people say it sounds crystal clear. In conclusion, this is one of the best smartwatches you will find. It is powerful and feature-packed, yet it is intuitive and very easy to use. And you have several versions and sizes to choose from. The Galaxy Watch is a beautiful device that brings great capabilities to my wrist. If you haven't already, I would suggest going out and getting one for yourself! Rated 5 out of 5 by from What Happened? Limited styles on a premium watch? I don't get it. No MST? I don't get it. It seems like Samsung wants to appeal only to people who want more exercise routines. If that's the case they have succeeded. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch 46mm I have a Frontier S3 AT&T LTE and really like it. When is is Samsung going to support AT&T LTE on the Galaxy Watch? The new watch wattch was introduced in Aug and still no AT&T LTE support. It would be nice for Samsung let us know when this will be supported via your website.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Smartwatch This Watch is absolutely amazing in craftsmanship internally and externally due to Its blazing response time and features needed for daily smartwatch needs are impeccable. Thank you Samsung for creating yet another great product. Being a long time Samsung customer (because of the trustworthy products that not only last but are great looking and quality functionality) everything in my home is Samsung from appliances to electronics. Take it from me and my experience with over 10 years of Samsung products. The two things that can be a bit better could be the Bixby technology and the amount of apps for the watch. All in all this watch has everything I need in a smartwatch just the way it currently it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase Ever. I purchased this watch about 6 months ago and I have fallen in love. At first, I was very cautious with it and would be nervous to wear it, due to the size. But, now I do not go a day without it on my wrist. I'd recommend buying a magnetic wrist strap, it's a great idea. It is very fancy and amazing to have at work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this watch Bought to replace my Gear S2 sport as the battery on GPS wasn't lasting long enough for a 13.1 mile run, not so with the new Gear. Love the rotating bezel features, the sports and fitness apps, and the display is fantastic and bright. Only thing that doesn't seem to work is the wake gesture, I have to push the button to make it wake up. Used the software to make myself an Auburn Tigers watch face in about 5 min, it's pretty basic but looking for time to play around more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Battery Life I read the reviews about the battery not lasting as long as the advertised 4 days, so I was hoping to not have to charge every night. My experience? Samsung is spot-on. It's lasting to the middle of 4 days WHEN I'm not changing settings everyday and playing with watch faces. I get all notifications, reply to texts and check the time regularly and the battery goes almost 4 full days. Ok, enough about the battery. This watch is very attractive. I have the 46mm. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features...but I just purchased my watch and have been wearing it daily. It takes a little getting use to, but function wise, it is great. The issue I have is the ease at which the bezel is scuffed. I brushed it against a wall and assumed the bezel had just scrapped some paint off the wall. Upon closer inspection, I realized the bezel took the brunt of the damage. A second situation, I made several movements that had the bezel again brush against something. There is now a "brushed" wear spot on the bezel. In less than a week, the look of the watch is not as nice. The ease at which this damage happened, makes me feel like the bezel material is "cheap". I would not have expected this to happen this quickly or under the conditions that it did. In both cases, the material involved, were more likely to be damaged than the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! ! ! ! I recently just picked up the 46mm galaxy watch. I gotta say the watch is absolutely and friggin utterly amazing. The features the bezel the band and everything else the watch has and has to offer is truly remarkable. I never thought I would say that i love a product, but i surely love my 46mm galaxy watch. I'm finding out more things i like about this watch every day. Plus people come up to me and ask me about the watch and they also compliment it as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from functionality, performance and battery life So, I had an older Samsung watch that performed OK; but the battery life and charging, doomed it for my junk drawer. I bought the 46mm watch and the difference is amazing. This exceeding my expectations in performance and; most importantly, battery life. I wear this all day - get a review of my sleep patterns and accurate weather in the morning, inconspicuously check message while at work/meetings and really get use while monitoring my workouts and streaming Spotify. All of this and I still have not used all of the functions. I recharge about every four days and that takes little time with the newly designed charging stand (LOVE IT!!). I would highly recommend this watch as it is everything you need and then some : )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from doesn't seem to have a microphone Thought I could use it to answer calls without taking phone out of holster (Samsung version of a non SIM iWatch - NOT!). Seems to have no microphone. Most interactions using applications simply remotely open the app on the phone. Only Samsung app interact with the device, which means if you have chosen other maker's apps to accomplish things, too BAD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kewel watch Nice watch, although i bought a new band for it simply because i did not like the silicone band that came with it. Works great as a stand alone. I work security and often leave my phone in the car, so if an emergency arises i can make calls. For those complaining about battery life, if you are always playing with the watch of course it is going to drain the battery. I use my watch a lot at work and still get two and a half days before i need to recharge it. Nice watch!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Step Up I have been using Samsung's smart watches since the first Gear. Every new model has impressed me and the Galaxy Watch has done it again. I really like that they brought back the stand alone feature and that I do not have to have my phone with me to use the watch fully. It integrates nicely and I get to use my same phone number which is Awesome. The construction is strong and feels great. I love how flexible the band is that it comes with. I have gone swimming and done an OCR with the watch on and it has had no problems at all. The battery life has to be my favorite feature. I am able to use the watch for 3-4 days without having to charge it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One watch to rule them all I am really enjoying the watch. I have to get used to a few things but overall it is amazing. I like the durability and functionality of the watch. I set it up to only notify me on certain notifications from my phone from certain apps. That is very useful. Two things that I don't care for is that when I set the watch to only work when I wear it, when I would take it off, it would not recognize when I put it back on unless I restarted it. I contacted support and they suggested a hard reset. I was not prepared for that. I simply set it to always notify the watch regardless if I was wearing it or not. Problem solved. The other issue is that I like to swipe away notifications, but when a new one comes in, I have to either hit the top button or use the bezel to go back and THEN I can swipe it away. A little annoying, but the rest of the watch overshadows these short comings. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The animations are kind of slow, but I love it! When I first got this watch I was really concerned that the watch strap sacrificed comfort for durability, but I've been wearing it daily and I've grown accustomed to what I consider an imbalance of weight. The straps aren't rigid like the ones on the Gear S3 Frontier, but they are by no means less strong. If anything, I am glad Samsung was able to make it more comfortable than the previous straps. I also like the fact that the glass covering the sensor of the watch is smaller than before. The whole glass that covered the back of the Gear S3 Frontier made my wrist sweat way more in my opinion. I used to have to wipe it throughout the day to make it feel good on my wrist. The software got an upgrade with One UI and it gives the watch the refresh it needed. Samsung had just been adding small features for the past few years, but this is kind of a complete overhaul. There is one thing that does annoy me however. The animations are bigger since the One UI update, but I feel like they are slower. The whole point of having a smartwatch is to be able to look at notifications quickly without having to take out your phone. The animations defeat the purpose of this since I have to stand there with my arm raised waiting for the logo of the app that is notifying me of something to go away and show me the content of the notification. It would be much better if the the whole process was faster. In the time that I am waiting for the watch to show me what notification is coming in, I could have already pulled out my phone to check it. I am confident that with a software update, this can be fixed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect extension to my phone... I absolutely love my Galaxy Watch. For those who are in a lot of meetings, it is a very handy and discreet way to get messages during a meeting. It is also a great step counter and heart rate monitor. I also use it to set alarms without having to make a lot of noise. The battery is life is great as it easily goes a full day--even with the always on display. I also like how the watch is customizable. I added a new band and cover. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smartwatch! I've held off getting a smartwatch for so long while I waited for the "perfect" product. After using it for only 2 weeks, I have to say I love my Galaxy Watch! It's stylish and has a lot of good features. So far I'm using it for fitness, and notifications. It's so convenient not having to constantly pick up my phone. It also comes in handy while I'm gaming and I get phone calls. This watch pairs well with my Note 9. Battery life is really good too. I get about 3 days battery life and more if I turn it off at night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Smartwatch there is. I Have owned the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch 46mm for a few days now and absolutely love the features it comes packed with. My favorite is the Nice AMO led display which is easy on the eyes. Some other really cool features Is how its waterproof up to 50 meters and sweat resistant which means I don't have to worry about getting water in my watch. Also Another great thing is the battery which gives you three days of life in just 2 hours. The Samsung galaxy watch is probably the best smartwatch out there on the market right now. This watch has been on me for a few days now and is so good at keeping track of my heart rate and steps while also looking like a nice classy watch. Overall, The Samsung smartwatch is the best watch for me and for people that want look good and be healthy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch. Needs more apps I've been eyeing up this watch for a while now and finally was able to get it for myself. I was hesitant at first about it but it has been a pleasant surprise so far. What I Like: I immediately replaced the included band with a stainless steel band that I was using on my old smartwatch. Luckily it fit perfectly. I think the Galaxy Watch looks far nicer with a stainless steel band than a rubber one. I was worried it was going to look bulky as it is a bit thicker than my previous smartwatch but it's not noticeable enough to make a difference. I like the rotating bezel as well as the back and home buttons. They make for easy navigation. The watch is responsive and I haven't noticed any lag in the UI. My last watch didn't have NFC so I really appreciated the ability to use Samsung Pay with this one and I even got a "That's really cool!" when I payed for my haircut using my watch. I appreciate that there is a speaker on this watch whereas my last one didn't have one. What Could be Better: The main shortcomings of this watch are the app ecosystem and the lack of a magnetic stripe transmitter. The lack of apps makes things more difficult because I don't have access to apps I used frequently on my Wear OS watch. I miss the Fly Delta and the Outlook apps most. The Gear S3 had a magnetic stripe transmitter (MST) for Samsung Pay payments where NFC is not available. This works great on my phone and I wish the Galaxy Watch had it too. Overall, I'm enjoying my new watch so far and hope Samsung continues to improve and support this watch and the app ecosystem. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung keeps ticking The Samsung Galaxy Watch is a high quality piece of technology, and one the most best smartwatches you can buy currently. The battery life varies, but averages 3-4 days for my usage. The appearance is definitely that of a regular watch, and a very nice watch. The circular screen and rotating bezel make it stylish, and easy control. The Super AMOLED screen is bright and full of color, and easy to see in sunlight. It includes the heart rate monitor and calculates your runs or walking. If it included more usable apps like those on my phone, I would never need to use anything but my Galaxy Watch. The watch works great with my Samsung Note 8. However it seems not to work well with the iPhone. What i like most is being able to communicate my calls and text messages directly from my watch, without picking up my phone. All in all, I love my new watch. It's nice to be able to change the screen and adjust things for my mood or fancy. I would recommend to friends and family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY Impressed Out of the box...very nice packaging accomplished again by Samsung. The box the watch is packaged in is a hard protective container that assures your item is in pristine condition. Includes a charger, small and large wristband and brief startup instruction booklet. The watch is very similar to the Gear S3 classic (which I own) and looks very classy compared to other smart watches on the market. The only drawback is the 46mm is a little to large looking on the wrist for me. (My S3 is the 42mm) Overall it still is a very classy looking smartwatch. The battery life is amazing. I went 4 days without a charge but this is based on Bluetooth connection right now as I have not connected to my cell phone provider yet. Fitness features are good along with the built in music storage. I am VERY impressed with this new design and for now giving it 4 stars as I will update again later. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enhances your everyday tech use. First and foremost I have to say that this is a worthy upgrade from the Gear S3 and all of it's previous, still wonderful predecessors. I have owned the first Gear, the Gear S2 Classic, and a couple of Gear S3 Classics (I still own the Classics) and also plenty of other non-brand smart watches as well. I have paired the 46mm Bluetooth edition to my Note8 and I must point out of course, how flawless they do work together. Fast and easy setup by first connecting via Bluetooth on the phone and then finding your watch and accepting the pair request on both devices. The procedure is done simultaneously and will ask you things along the way. It will take a few minutes so be patient as it may require updates installed on the watch or phone. Once done it will take you into a quick introduction of your watch with a few interactions to get you acquainted. You can customize your watch face, your widgets, your apps and many other settings. The watch can connect via 2.4ghz wifi and still be synced to your phone if you have that set up. Sometimes I have given my phone to borrow to my family to go on an errand while I stayed at home and received all my notifications on my watch and I could still reply accordingly (text messages & Facebook Messenger). As long as your connected via wifi, you can be anywhere away from your phone and still use it the same (except phone calls) as long as your phone has signal, of course. It's 472mAh battery lasts about 3 days giving you lots of interaction, tons of notifications, sensors working on activities and without activating the always-on watch face. It charges via a dock and it comes with it's own cable and adapter. I have tried charging the Gear S3 on the Watch dock but it does display a notification to charge it on it's own dock. So it is definitely a faster charge than it's predecessor considering it's a bigger battery. It takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes to completely charge. It has a great activity tracker and there's tons of new features as well as upgraded ones. I love that it's water resistance has been further upgraded to 5 ATM (165-foot/50-meter) submersion with IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certifications. It has GPS and can be used to track your runs without your phones presence without a problem. It has 39 workout modes, tracks sleep and recognizes some workout styles that starts tracking automatically. The watch runs on Tizen and has NFC (no MST) . The bands are interchangeable with 22mm bands (like the Gear S3's) and the ability to change watchfaces is incredible. There's tons and tons of watchfaces to choose from. It has a dual-core Exynos 9110 processor running at 1.15GHz and has 768MB of RAM with 4GB storage. Corning Gorilla Glass DX+, and a 1.3-inch, 360 x 360  AMOLED touchscreen. In conclusion, this is an excellent watch that can be purchased in Bluetooth/WiFi or LTE versions and works with both Android and iOS. It gives you a plethora of functions, apps and watchfaces. It also comes in a smaller version (42mm) and in 2 different colors so they do give you options. I truly enjoy the Samsung Galaxy Watch and Samsung's ability to evolve their devices truly captivates me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Smart Watch of 2019 is here!! Appearance: This watch looks great, silver shiny metal casing, nice metal bezel in black, the default bank is a black rubber, looks good as well. The big 46mm face looks awesome to the user and people that see you wearing it, the faces are bright and vibrant and there are many great ones both digital and analog looks and many funny cartoon ones as well. You can also make your own custom faces on the samsung site too. With the ways you can customize case, bands and bezel, its the best looking smart watch on the market to me. Functionality: This watch uses a custom Samsung app store and uses the Tizen OS instead of the more standard Google app store and Wear OS that most other android watches use. That is not a problem when it comes to watches like this one though as you can make calls, receive calls, take and write texts, receive and write e-mails, you can get driving directions with a map app, there is a web browser that works well, heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, exercise apps, you can watch youtube videos and it looks great, you can get notifications form all social media sites, and much more, this watch can do pretty much anything you want in a smart watch, excellent. The battery life is very good IMO on this 46mm model, I am getting 3-4 days out of it and I use it for heavy tasks like calls and video along with maps too. It is very easy to charge with the included wireless charging stand too. This watch is also waterproof! The only downside is that if you are not using one of the newer Samsung phones you need to do a few workarounds to get texts to work properly. I was not using a Samsung phone and can report I am still extremely impressed by the functionality. Expandability: There are hundreds of watch cases, bezels and watch bands(leather, rubber and metal/steel) that you can buy for a low fee to customize the entire look of this watch. You will not be disappointed at all in this department, nice looks for male and female users and all kinds of funny prints and also professional looks that can make the watch look almost like a rolex, no joke form a distance. Overall: This is the best smart watch you can get in 2019 when comparing it to watches I have tried out, seen in stores and I also read many reviews from watch/tech sites and many agree with this opinion. I love this watch! Only a few tiny flaws keep it from being perfect. Score: 9.5/10 This watch does everything I dreamed of a smart watch being able to do & more. Rated 5 out of 5 by from No MST is a deal-breaker MST has always been one of my favorite "in your face" features of Samsung Pay. People tell me all the time "we don't accept Apple pay here” when I go to pay with my phone. I reply "good thing I'm not using Apple pay" & smile when they're shocked that it works. Now you've taken that feature away from the watch!? Are you seriously trying to drive customers like me away? I've had a Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear S (LTE) & Gear S2 Classic (LTE). My Gear S2 Classic came off contract after the Galaxy Watch was released, so no Gear S3 for me. Without MST, no Galaxy Watch either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart rate doesn't work Heart rate always reads 165?? My resting HR is 50. Not even close. Step counter will read about 4000 less than what my other step counter reads in a day. Battery life is 36 hours, even without using GPS. Taking it back and getting a Garmin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A waste of money if you lose it or its stolen I've had it for a while and I was pretty happy, until I got paranoid that it could be stolen or lost. The watch disconnects when my phone leaves a 30 ft radius and so I cant ring it nor can I track it. And i don't know what the GPS tracking part is for if I cant really use it when its 30 ft away from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissappointed in the lack of apps. No Onstar or My Q. No weather radar apps. I thought it would be able to use it most of my applications. My son has the Apple watch and he has all kinds of apps available. I guess it is one think Apple got right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! I bought this watch 4 days back and I have never reviewed a product so quick. The battery backup is to kill for. Ran 4 days without charging and heavy usage. The feature list is marvellous and really overcomes a lot of compatibility issues that I had with the Gear S2. I offers a good set of features even with a non Samsung phone, I use it with my Pixel2. The build feels just so strong. To summarize, it's a feature rich watch with a wonderful battery backup and sturdy. Absolutely loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't count steps I have the Samsung gear S3 and have loved the watch. I wanted the new one because the battery on mine was getting worse and I liked the look of the new one. I bought it and wore it for a few days and noticed the steps were way off. At the end of an 8 hour work day on my feet it would say 1500 steps or so. My phone had me at 5000+. I reset the watch several times. Still didn't do anything. Exchanged it for a new one. Still didn't change anything. It is sad that a $350 smart watch can't even do the most basic function of a fitness tracker, count steps. I am returning this watch for good. I may purchase it again once Samsung fixes it. Otherwise I might go crazy knowing I am wearing a fitness tracker smart watch and have no idea how many steps I have taken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am a Skeptic...............No Longer My wife has an Itrash watch, never liked the look, softness or general functionality. I was skeptical about smart watches until I read about the new Samsung 46mm battery life. After I got past the battery fears, the features are far more usable than the Iwatch or whatever they call Apples watch. Samsung, built for use, looks great, functions well, great watch, smart watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smart Watch I have had my 46mm Galaxy Watch (Bluetooth) a little over 2 weeks now. I have to say that this is the BEST Smart Watch that I had utilized to date. I used to have another brand of smart watch that ran using the Google IOS, but this is far Superior. Even my wife, who is not big on wearable tech, loves this watch and now wants to get one of her own. The Galaxy Watch is stunning looking. It looks very high class from the minute you open the box. It does not even look like a wearable piece of tech. It reads just as if you had a normal watch on your wrist. One of my favorite things about this watch is the ability to change the watch faces to suit the “colors” & styles of outfit you have to that day. My current watch face that I have day to day is a digital watch face with all of the info that I need. Time, Date, Weather, Step Count and Battery Life. It’s perfect having all of that info in one quick turn of the wrist. But when I do go out on a date night with the Wife, I change the watch face to more of a fancy “Analog” Type Face. Another thing that is brilliant about the analog style watch faces, is that when you tilt your wrist back and forth, it has a “Glare” Built into the programming to make it look like the currently lighting is reflecting off of the watch face. It’s the little things like that, that make the watch that much more realistic. With that being said, the resolution on the screen is GREAT! The Information that you get from this watch is amazing. It tells me “Good Morning” When I first put it on before I leave the house and then continues to give me a “Daily Briefing” of my Day, including Wheather, Appointments that are on my calendar and my commute to work. It even tells me to get up and exercise when I have been inactive for too long. I do have a desk job, and the first 2 days I was wearing the watch it kept telling me to get up and get moving. But I ignored it. On the third day, it learned that I would not get up to exercise, so it gave me the option of doing at sit down/at desk exercise. I proceeded to do that. It worked like a charm. I love being able to have all of my notification on my wrist. It allows me to have my phone in my pocket, even texting and answering phone calls. The only Downside to the watch is the Bluetooth Connectivity Range; it only seems to be about 25-30’. Which is kind of disappointing. Especially when I am at home and I have the watch charging. My phone constantly alerts me that my watch is disconnected when I am out of range. My previous Smart Watch that I had, had exceptional range. I do hope that Samsung can improve this in a software update. Hopefully it has nothing to do with hardware. All in all, I love this watch and wish I had purchased it sooner. I would recommend anyone to make the purchase. You will not be disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a good deal i bought this watch for the features and they are great. the manufacturer warranty is horrible. the reason i say this is the watch after 6months stop connecting with alerts and notifications. after troubleshooting with samsung they deemed it water damaged. a over $300 repair bill. may have splashed the watch with water not intentionally. even tho its water resistant and has a water ejection feature on the watch. so i bought another watch. and the this time i made a point not to get the watch wet or take it off if i remotely was near water. only for the same thing to happen with the cover that is held on with some cheap, inferior gel. this is cheaping out on quality as much as this watch costs. i will never buy this watch ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good watch im use to an apple watch but i like the looks of the samsung watch. its pretty good with exception of the heart rate monitoring. occassionally it will go off the rails and tell me my heart rate is over 115 when in fact it’s at 74. the apple watch seems to be more accurate and consistant. overall its a nice watch with pretty good functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does alot, but not alot well. bought this watch as a replacement to a fitbit due to there issues, this watch looks and feels superior however its performance lacks significantly when used for excersise recording. with following the prompts the heart rate monitor is very spotty and the excersise log not very useful for general excersise. the watch does have alot of features which are neat which also probably contributes to its lack of battery life. as a firefighter i need my watch to maintain a charge for 24-48 hours until i get home to recharge it. under normal use i would say it lasts 18-26 hours. overall a very expensive watch as it does not work well for much else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samson from the beginning i've owned every samsung galaxy note and samsung galaxy watch. i totally gave up on the watches and went to the fitbit. then i saw this watch at such a price i couldn't resist. it was so nice and worked so well. i really love samson and they do well when they do well hahaha this an older version, older chip and yet it's still to this day functions just as you want it to. if you're new to samson i would definitely recommend this watch it does everything you need as a smartwatch and more. very happy with it. i gave her four stars because the battery life is 2 to 3 days at best. i can live with that question is can you? in my office i have on the shelf every make and model...all broken and failed miserably. this one is standing up to the test of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Watch, Terrible Voice Assistant i got this watch near the time when it first came out, and proud to still be using it in 2021. i need to praise samsung for not only making a watch with excellent build quality, but also for continually updating it to improve the heart rate reliability and making bixby somewhat usable. i really count on manufacturers to support their products.. unfortunately bixby is next to useless on this watch, when it’s faster and more reliable to just pull out my phone and ask a question there. bixby needs to be faster, and it needs to work at least 80% of the time (just in recognition and execution at least). please samsung, make bixby faster and more reliable. otherwise, this still an excellent option in 2021 for anyone who has a samsung phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat device; Just a few requests, though. this thing simplifies the idea of losing weight. now i can just loop the neighborhood until the watch says i'm good instead of walking in place on a noisy treadmill in an otherwise empty room. i also like reading the news on it sometimes. i do think a few customization options would be nice, such as having the option to turn off the scrolling effect in the gallery. also, i like to put gifs on the watch, but the gifs that are suppose to play once and then stop keep looping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch with one thing missing I bought the watch 2 months ago. I only have one issue with it. I would assume Yahoo Music would be an App option for Music since it is the Google/Android recommended item, but it only offers Spotify. In general Spotify is one of the best streaming apps on the market, but doesn't offer personal music storage like Yahoo Music. So the only way to get my personal music to my watch is manually upload it. I will say the watch easily holds 300 songs which is impressive. And all of the other features in watch deliver as expected or better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs some work Let me start here. I'm a long time Samsung fan and have owned most of their flagship Galaxy S phones. However, when it comes down to watches they need some work. My first Samsung watch Gear S, I returned almost a week after I bought it because the battery was terrible and there were numerous software bugs. Now the Galaxy Watch has improved battery but still, Samsung claims 168 hours and according my humble testing, the only way to get those hours is to disable everything. I mean everything. then enable power saving mode. Even then, just the operating system will use enough batter that it will barely get you to meet the Samsung claim. With my normal use (WiFi off, HR off, Display off and light notifications during the day) I get about 3 full days. Watch like this should be able to run for a few days with Always on display so you can enjoy the beautiful screen and watch faces you select. But this one... will barely make it 36 hours. And if you are "lucky" enough to have the LTE version... 10 hours. Software glitches are another aspect that are deal breaker. Like another user reported, the watch was trouble tracking stairs, sometimes steps as well... Perhaps, it is better than the competition... perhaps not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not water-resistant! Buyer beware Purchased this watch less than a year ago and still under warranty until November 14th. Sent it back for a second repair after battery and memory went bad the first time. Told second time it had water damage and it is no longer under warranty. They repaired the watch and want to charge 430.00. Pretty silly when I payed 279.00 U.S dollars for it. Nice watch but totally not water resistant.. even in the shower. Interesting thing is if you look at the documentation it says it is water resistant up to 50 meters for 10 minutes and okay for shallow swimming which is not a sport I participate in. Seems a bit of false advertising.

I've had a Samsung watch before back when I had The Galaxy S2 and what a major improvement. I've also had the Apple Watch Series 1 and I must say this Samsung Galaxy Watch is by far better than the Apple Watch, even on their current series FEATURES GALORE. Though I believe Tech wise Bixby may not be as useful and well versed with the phone as Siri may be with the iPhones. But I'm still learning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch thinks I'm swimming my samsung galaxy watch worked well for a couple of years. all of a sudden it keeps thinking that im swimming, several times per day. this is a hardware issue that needs out-of-pocket money to make the repair. it is not covered under the warranty because my warranty has expired. i have never used this watch while swimming any deeper than 5 ft in a pool. i have no idea why it keeps thinking i'm swimming but this is going to cost me money and that is the reason for the poor review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung with another winner! Being a watch fanatic, I have a big collection of watches, but I never grabbed me a smart watch. The Samsung Galaxy Watch is my first smart watch, and man am I blown away. First off, the look, weight and feel is definitely way past official. The aesthetics and features that the watch offers is off the charts. I love having the option of setting the display on “Always On”. Gives me the control of having a real watch on my hands, and turns on with the flick of a wrist. I was able to watch videos, get email and message updates, upload photos from my phone, and switch between multiple watch faces (even downloaded ones), all through the Galaxy Wear app. I get news feed updates, weather updates, health stats, and full control of customization on this bad boy. I love the silicone strap and definitely do plan on switching into different ones for a more luxury feel and look. The battery life is more than incredible lasting up to 5-6 days, which is better than what was stated on the product description. By the way, I was pretty bummed about not getting the LTE version so I can use it just like my Galaxy S8, but last night my watch started buzzing, and the display showed a call coming in so I thought…ehhhhhh maybe it just activates my phone remotely to pick up since they are connected via Bluetooth….BUT NOOOOOOO….I actually picked up a phone call on my watch and was talking on it!!!!!!!!!!! Whattttttttttttt!!!!!! I love you Samsung for creating another winner! I’m a techy by nature so having this on my wrist feeds another part of my tech soul and makes me feel more complete. Now I can sleep sound. #GalaxyWatchInsiders #GalaxyWatch #GalaxyWatch Active [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Watch Received the product ahead of time and I was excited as it was very user friendly to set up. Calling the carrier caused some confusion since they couldn't figure out how to register the watch. However, when I paired it to my phone it automatically asked me if I wanted to paired with my phone and add a separate LTE line with my carrier and it automatically set up. Hence, there was no need to call carrier to set up. It has worked flawlessly so far and the battery last so far 2 days with watch face ON all the time and receiving multiple notifications throughout the day since I receive breaking news notifications from different sources. I have tested the LTE feature by not having the phone connected in Bluetooth and have been able to receive texts and make/receive phone calls. I love all watch faces I can choose from. I have been an avid watch collector all my life. However, with this mane faces, I see no need to continue purchasing watches since I can change the look often. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Hardware, Buggy Firmware Google "Galaxy Watch does not count steps" and you will see plenty of other owners disappointed that their beautiful new watch will not count stairs and misses the majority of steps taken. Tried turning off suggested activity tracking and inactivity monitoring, updated firmware, reset, but none of these help. It seems to only count steps if you take more than 10 in a row. Anything less, and they are never counted. It is sporadic at best. The only way you can get it to count steps more accurately and any flights of stairs is to actually start the "Walking" exercise tracking routine. It also did not record any Sleep time at all and the heart rate was set to the required continuous mode. Initially it did track the heart rate accurately, but after a factory reset was done, even this became sporadic. Love the watch physically and it has a beautiful display, but if it can't perform simple activity tracking it must be returned. It is too expensive a device to settle for partial functionality and take the chance that a future firmware update might be provided to correct its faults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Galaxy Watch Yet Prior to me getting my new Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE 46mm, I had a Samsung Gear S2. What am improvement. The watch is a little larger but is more comfortable to wear than the previous one. The larger size makes it easier to see than my previous watch as well. Samsung has made the bezel even better and easier to turn. I am still getting used to customizing the watch for my daily needs and look forward to making it perfectly my own. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good with a couple of caveats. I bought this watch in-store back in October of 2018, so I've had a few months of experience with it. It's my first smartwatch so I don't have much to compare it against. I like that this watch is customizable and you can download free or pay watch faces that meet your style and information requirements. I like that I can wear this watch and receive messages discreetly from my family while I'm working. I work 12-hour-shifts at a local hospital so I'm gone for the better part of 14 hours a day when I work so if my family has an emergency or something they are still able to contact me directly without having to go through the operator or front desk. Other things I like about the watch include being able to see the watch face in just about any light condition, theater mode when you're at the movies, airplane mode just like any other wireless device, the rotating bezel which allows you to make selections and/or scroll through messages and options, ability to set up reminders, and that it encourages me to keep moving or get those few extra steps in with the step counter. It is somehow able to detect when you're walking at a brisk pace or doing yard work and it's kind of entertaining how it encourages you with messages to let you know and keep it up. It is quiet and the gentle buzz I feel on my wrist when a notification pops up is strong enough that I know there's something I need to check out but not annoying. I also like the "find my phone" feature that it has which I've only had to use once when I had put my phone somewhere and forgot where I left it, you can use the find my phone feature on the watch and regardless of whether your phone is set to silent or not it will ring audibly and allow you to locate the phone if it's within hearing distance. Things that I don't like about the watch are the Samsung version of Apple's Siri, which is called "Bixby", is just not there yet. Siri is much more advanced and gives better answers and has better voice recognition capability. I also feel like this watch might be cheating me out of some steps during the day, for example, the other day I got up and watched the step counter on my watch, I took ten steps forward and the counter didn't move. I didn't get credit for those ten steps at all. Other times I've done this and kept my eye on the watch and counted my steps and the watch has only been one step away from what I counted (which I don't mind). But ten steps yes I do mind, because ten steps here and there throughout the day add up, so that's another area where I feel that the Apple watches are probably ahead of Samsung as most of my coworkers use Apple and don't have the same problem. I also don't like that it is not good at counting flights of stairs, and it's more likely to give you credit for going up a flight of stairs than down a flight of stairs, which both require effort; and when it does give you credit for walking a flight of stairs it seems like it makes you walk more flights than you actually walked in order to meet any goals that you've set to reach on the watch. So far it's batting zero's when it comes to detecting me descending a flight of stairs. Going up it seems to be much better at. Overall given that it's my first smartwatch I like it. The battery charge seems to last on average about 2 days on the settings that I use, which meet my requirements without having to make sacrifices, but I imagine if you run a lot of different things on the watch or use a watch face that drains a lot of power then you'll get different results. Rated 5 out of 5 by from NEED ALL BLACK in 46mm, what happened to payments? I have owned several Samsung watches and phones, and currently have the Note 9. I sold my Gear S3 Frontier to buy the new Galaxy Watch and just couldn't do it. I know some love the new look (like a Classic), but I like the all black design. Problem is that I am old and need the larger watch face to read it without glasses. I also missed the MST pay options. You can only use the pay on the watch if they have an NFC terminal. The S3 would work on ANY credit card machine. I was hoping the fitness accuracy would improve as well. The GPS seemed to work better, but the heart rate was still erratic at best. With that said, it was still a nice watch and I would have kept it, but didn't like the stainless steel look. Didn't go well with colored bands either. I sold it for a competitors watch. Let me know when you release an ALL BLACK version in the 46mm and I would buy it again. Until then...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sheer disappointment this is my first watch I have been wanting for a long time, but I could not afford it and finally bought them and was very disappointed they only accurately show the time and notice and more steps I average I raise 13 floors, they consider to be the 5th floor they measure heart rate correctly but need to be measured manually automatically they rarely measure, I sit on the spot all day and they don’t remind that we need to move sheer disappointment I recommend to those who need a watch and a pedometer you can buy them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful display, great features, realistic face. I preordered the galaxy watch and it came when it said it would. The galaxy watch has blown me away. Bluetooth connectivity works great. The watch counts my steps perfectly so disregard other comments. Samsung health is integrated into the watch seamlessly. Auto tracking of workouts seems to work pretty well. The watch is comfortable and the watch is the perfect size for my wrist (~7-7.5"). I was worried it would be too big but it's perfect. I forget I have it on sometimes it is so comfortable. The battery life is stunning and I can go almost 4 days without charging. The wireless charger it's a cool change of pace but is not much different then a wired charger convenience wise. The default watch band is comfortable and sleek. Also good for getting wet and sweating, dries quickly. My friends ask me where I got my cool watch and then they look a little closer and then realize it's a smart watch. People are amazed at how realistic the watch faces look. You can change from a classy analog face to a really functional digital face, among others, seamlessly in seconds. The rotating bezel feature is amazing. Turning the rotating bezel is an addicting feeling and really contributes to the elegant expensive feel of the watch. The speaker is loud for what I was expecting from a tiny waterproof speaker. The watch face is easy to read where it's worth the convenience of not having to pull out my phone. But if you are interested in reading a long article you can instantly open it on your phone from the watch. Messages from Facebook, facebook messenger, text messages, groupme, etc all work extremely well. The voice texting works well and typing a message is easy and quicker than expected. I am a busy college student with no affiliation to Samsung and this watch made me take the time to write this review. I have hesitated to buy a smart watch for a couple years because I wasnt sure if the convenience outweighed the price. With this watch I can say the convenience definitly outweighs the price. I love it and recommend it to everyone looking to buy a smartwatch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent watch, offer all black in 46mm I purchased the Galaxy 46mm smartwatch late summer or early fall. I love the idea of the extended battery life, compared to the Gear S3 and Gear Sport, as well as its ability to be used in the pool just like the Gear Sport. I would be interested in buying a second one as soon as Samsung comes out with an all back version, in a 46 mm case, just like the Gear S3 Frontier. Samsung, there a still people out there, like me, who prefer the larger watch face. It was nice for you to offer 3 color options for the Galaxy but not at the price of having to accept a smaller watch face. I think you should offer all 3 colors of the Galaxy in both 42 and 46 mm widths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for everyday use! I used to have the Galaxy Fit 2 but I've become a full fledged smartwatch user after using the Galaxy Watch for a few weeks! The most impressive feature is the battery life! I can easily make it through the entire work week, wearing it from the time I wake up until the time I get home. The screen is the perfect size and the crown makes navigation easy and fun. It integrates flawlessly with my phone and all my apps. I love that I can text, make phone calls and even control my music through the watch! I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone! It's easy to use and extremely customization. The first thing I did was open the Galaxy Wearable app on my phone and change the face of the watch, there's so many options! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Abysmal app list This watch is amazing! I love so much about it except the apps available for this watch. There are none! The rare app that might also be on my phone, Spotify, doesn't work on the watch. When I mean there are no apps, there are none. No Google apps, no FB or IG, nothing! I have a Google Pixel phone and I have no way to get texts, email or any notifications sent to this watch. Once again I love the build quality and performance of this watch but with app support, this is basically a $350 paperweight on my wrist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch! This is my first smartwatch and I absolutely love it. I like the two tone look and the battery life is great. I always have my phone with me so it's not a big deal for me that it doesn't support MST for Samsung Pay. The only con I think is that the charger still uses micro usb instead of usb type c and I have to carry another cable with me but still it's not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great smartwatch! I got the Samsung Galaxy 46mm watch a couple of weeks ago and I have been wearing it non-stop since then. I only take it off once in a few (4 to 5) days to charge it. The charging time is also pretty great. It is usually fully charged in couple of hours. So I am greatly impressed with the battery life. The watch is a lot lighter and comfortable to wear than any other non-smart watches. The watch and band is made of pretty high quality material and I have found that it goes with any style of clothing that I wear - formal or casual. I can also chose from many watch faces depending on my attire and mood.  Looking beyond the physical appearance and battery life, the watch shines more through its use and functionality. It now serves as an inseparable companion for my samsung galaxy phone. The notifications and connected apps give me great convenience with not having to take out my phone from the pocket. The built-in microphone and speaker allows me to take quick calls from the watch without having to take out my phone. The call quality is similar to having the phone on speaker. Sending quick replies for text and email message is also quite time saving. I also frequently monitor my steps and physical activities with the watch. The health app reminds me to take quick walk/stretch break when I am sitting down for too long at work. I have also worn the watch several times while swimming. The water lock mode avoids any touch interference and it ejects water from microphone holes via a sound function. The watch is really designed well for all the fitness activities! Another bonus is being able to pay in stores using the Samsung pay in the watch. Using the out-of-the-box setting in the watch, I can complete transaction by long pressing the back button. No need to take out my wallet or phone for payment! Just another example of freedom on your wrist!  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Versatile Smartwatch The galaxy watch has been the most versatile watch that I have personally owned. It has become a valuable accessory for me and offers a ton of features which I have utilized. The biggest feature that I have enjoyed is monitoring my health as well as giving me notifications of important meetings and calls/texts. With my busy schedule it allows me a ton of flexibility and peace of mind when it comes to ensuring I don't miss any important events. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a smartwatch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good for swimming (Pool or open water) I purchased this to help track my swimming both in the pool as well as open water. It doesn't do a good job of counting laps (I'm always losing count, so really need this) and it has no support for open water. The lack of open water support has be raised in the forums for many months with no response from Samsung. I have to use the walking feature when I swim open water to get it to track my distance and duration. There seems to be very little interest from Samsung on improving this feature set. Does track walking well, but my primary interest is for swimming

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SMARTEST watch! Had the Gear S3 and have been waiting for the upgrade. Absolutely love the new Samsung watch. The black and silver together are rich and beautiful. Was even more pleased to find out that my favorite watch band would work with this upgrade. All the great features that I'd come to know are still here with some great new ones. Paired this with my Note 9 and have to say that it was so much easier than I expected. My favorite feature is being able to change the face to match what I'm wearing. It's like having a new watch every day. Battery life is terrific. Samsung Pay has even been improved. I would say that all the features have been improved. No complaints! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Watch. Not Perfect I have had the watch about 3 weeks. I like all the features and being able to customize. I do not like the fact that for Messages you can only use Samsung messages and you cannot remove the app from the watch. So I don't use it. The battery stops charging at about 85-88%. If you want it to charge more you can keep taking it off the charger and putting it back on. I don't think that is a feature and I don't like it. I have gotten to 100% using this method. Cleaning the back of the watch and the charger do not help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch but lacks features I bought the watch a month ago but decided to return it. The watch looks great, easy to use and is great for fitness tracking. My issues were the lack of apps because the watch uses Samsung app store vs Google's app store. Bixby was just terrible with any questions other than what's the weather. The watch also lacks basic things like a remote camera app that uses the samsung camera on my phone, which is a standard app on the Apple watch. All other remote camera apps use their own camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love how well it syncs with my Phone Mainly got this for how well it syncs with my phone. If you own a Samsung phone, you can customize your most important notifications to pop up on the watch. It's pretty useful for chat messages: Discord, Slack & GChat (for work), and good for emails. To be honest I don't really use the fitness stuff, and a bunch of features seem nice but I probably won't use them down the road. If you get this, in my opinion it would be for the notifications, and the battery life (it's very long). I feel more likely to run out of battery on my phone than on this device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watch Overall...However The actual watch is everything and more. I got it for Christmas and it replaced my previous Samsung Gear Watch that I liked. There are a ton more features and it's great that it's waterproof. Couldn't take the Gear watch on vacation as I would be in the water most of the time. Now for the Cons.. The step count is severely off. It doesn't actually record steps or stairs very well. I continue to use my Fitbit for that which is actually better in that regard. Side by side, there is no comparison to the fitness portion. Fitbit is king in that, but Samsung could improve. The previous watch I could pay easier, now i have to be up close and tap to pay. Not a deal breaker but is noticeable. I normally use my phone for that action anyway so that is no big deal. Overall I would give this watch 5 stars if not for the fitness tracking, otherwise highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch could be great Watch could be great if they can fix the step counter. If accurate steps is unimportant to you.....this is your watch. I'm hoping a software update can fix. Otherwise, Samsung will get bad publicity for this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleekest The Galaxy Watch is by far the best smartwatch that Samsung has made and is quite possibly the best smartwatch you can get in today's market. If you use any of the latest Samsung Galaxy mobile devices, this is the perfect companion for you. You get amazing features that you've come to love on previous devices, such as awesome/customization watch faces, widgets (weather, music player, health, etc.) notifications (email, text messages, etc.) and best of all Samsung Pay; if you love using Samsung Pay on your phone, you'll love the convenience of using it on your Galaxy Watch. The voice assistant has been upgraded from S Voice to Bixby. The voice it uses hasn't change any, but, the voice-recognition has gotten a bit more accurate. In regards to look and feel, it's stunning. It's one of the few smartwatches in the market that actually looks and feels like a genuine watch. The display is bright, clear and beautiful and the rotating bezel gives it the finishing, polish touch it needs. This watch is definitely and eye turner and a conversation starter. The included band doesn't have a rubbery/cheap feel to it and is very comfortable wearing for long hours. Speaking of long hours, the battery life on this smartwatch is amazing. I get a little over 2-days of battery life. Many others have experience 3+ days, but, my watch does go through some heavy usage with notifications, phone calls and health readings. I don't charge it every night, mostly every other night. Overall, this smartwatch has all the necessary features you need, encased in a beautiful design. Yes, it does have some flaws, like unsupported apps or features that other manufactures have, but, even then, this smartwatch beats the other competitors by comparison!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very dissapointed I bought 46mm LTE model about a month ago. It worked ok for a few days, but now i'm very dissapointed. The battery life is totaly the opposite as it should be. I read a lots of comments and reviews about this watch before i bought it, and all the comments were positive, all said that the battery is fabulous etc. But today i left home at 9 am morning with 100% battery life, now it's 4 pm and battery is 34%. And other than that the display doesn't work correctly, sometimes it turns off and on automatically, sometimes it's not. It has some mulfunction that i have to restart it so that it work correctly. I didn't break it, or done something that would lead to damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic watch except for one issue I love this watch. I got this one after having the Gear S3 Frontier. they are essentially the same watch with the same features. although I do like the all black look of the Frontier better but the battery life was very poor. My only real issue with the this version is that after many attempts and having to send the watch in for repair, Samsung pay with the NFC does not work. Major disappointment. that was one of the big features I loved on the Frontier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Samsung Smartwatch yet! I've owned almost every smartwatch Samsung has made, but this one has gotten more wrist time than any of the others. First, the only negative comment- Samsung Pay got a downgrade. I've had the technology since before Sammie bought the original company. It is my go-to pay app and works 95+ percent of the time. The new Galaxy watch did away with the MST (Magnetic secure transmission) function and now only works on modern terminals that use NFC (near field communication). More retailers have upgraded to accept NFC, but wearing the watch now requires me to carry a credit card just in case. Not a huge issue for me as I rarely leave home without my phone and Samsung still offers MST for Samsung pay on those. Now the positives, and there are plenty: * interchangeable bands. The move away from proprietary bands a couple of models back started this trend. Plenty of aftermarket bands are available for the Galaxy Watch and it looks dressy enough with a leather band to wear with suits. I can be a geek without looking like one now, at least on my wrist. I also added a screen protector, which is cheap insurance. *battery life. This is a HUGE improvement over even the previous model. I routinely get several days between charges, while in the past I had to travel with a charger, even on an overnight trip. *LTE and speaker improvements. The telephone function is legit! The speaker and mic have leveled up, and I can carry on a conversation without the other end of the call complaining. It is no more obtrusive than using a speaker phone, but mating to a bluetooth headset means I can go for a jog without my big Note phone. *improved user interface. Touch screen and functionality continue to improve. I can control whatever media is playing on my phone without reaching for the phone. Easier, actually. This is such a big deal that my phone stays in a backpack or coat pocket way more than it used to. Samsung hit a home run with this watch, so much so that I may skip the next model (maybe.) In short, the Galaxy watch checks all the boxes for me and looks good doing it. My twenty something son, like many of his age group, largely abandoned wristwatches and use their smart phones to tell time. He saw my Galaxy Watch and got his own, which is pretty strong testimony. Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a monster of a watch! I have had this watch for about a month now and I can officially say that this is a great watch! I have used this watch for several activities. These activities include, swimming, lifting weights, walking, running, and bike riding. The Galaxy Watch has been instinctive and able to deliver accurate information for my phone to collect. This has helped me tremendously with my fitness goals. Here are a few of the pros and cons that I have noticed: Cons: 1. Bixby (need I say more?) 2. There is no racquet activities in the workout selection. This could be for tennis, pickle-ball, badminton, racquetball, squash, or tennis. 3. The software (Not a major deal for me, but it would be nice to control certain items from my watch. 4. No native Play Music app. You can skip, play/pause, or rewind a song, but that is all that you can control. Pros: 1. Did any one say battery???? The attached picture is at 73% and it has been over 24 hours! This is a huge difference from the previous version. 2. Lightweight 3. Stylish 4. Versatile 5. I love the ability to use Samsung pay from my watch. 6. There is a better selection of workouts than previously allowed. 7. Great display 8. Accurate sleep data So is the watch worth it? If you don't have the previous version of this watch them hands down, run and get one. If you have the S3 Frontier and the battery isn't a major issues, then you can wait. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It took a while but I absolutely love it now! I bought this watch so I could leave my phone behind when I go to the gym and still be able to take calls and texts and stream music. Honestly, it took a while for me to get all the settings right and that is mainly because there aren't that many clear instructions for this watch available. I had problems connecting to LTE and also getting Spotify to work on LTE without Bluetooth or WiFi. First of all I would recommend a high speed data line if you are going to use the watch for streaming music. The basic line just doesn't have enough bandwith. No. 2, make sure to change the setting in the Spotify app to connect to LTE, otherwise it only works in bluetooth or WiFi by default. I can do all the things I hoped this watch would do now. The Samsung pay is also great if you don't have your wallet with you. The fitness stuff are nice to have although I don't really depend on their accuracy. The battery will last about 3 days if you don't keep the screen on too much. Also, since I have unlimited data plan, I keep the WiFi off and it seems to make the battery last longer. I only wish there were more music apps available for it. Right now Spotify is the only streaming app you can get.

Now that its here, I am not impressed with the lack of options, really doesn't look much different then the Gear S3 Frontier. Great you added the ATM 5 rating that is really it. Tizen 4.0 well its better then WearOS. Shame Sammy used too be a huge fan of Samsung products. Going to look elsewhere! Thanks for confirming that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than expected!! This was my first smartwatch. I actually haven't had a watch at all in years, just haven't had a need. After a week with this watch, I must say, its the perfect pair with my Galaxy Note. First off, the watch is very well built as well as stylish. There are many different faces you can choose from and can easily change at any time for any occasion. The battery life is simply amazing and will last for days. I've used it to track my fitness, sleep and even monitor my stress. All of which seem very accurate. There are many apps available to compliment your phone as well. You can view messages, emails and see who is calling you right from your phone. I found this helpful at times when I wasn't able to pull out my phone such as meetings and social events. The voice recognition works very well to set reminders. Samsung Pay also works from the watch, if you have it set up. After spending a week with this phone, I havent taken it off my wrist and its part of my daily routine now. Im very impressed with this procuct and will recommend it to everyone.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time to Upgrade I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it has been everything I expected it to be! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy smartwatch of the future!!! I recently upgraded form the Gear S3 to the Samsung Galaxy Watch. I must admit that they are both great, but I am happy that I upgraded to the Galaxy Watch. The battery lasts so much longer. I am able to use all the apps that I have previously been using as well. It was a very simple transition and the watch is very easy to use. Having the Watch on my data plan is also very helpful. I tend to misplace my phone, but I am always wearing my watch. Now I always know where my phone is, or I can easily find it with the assistance of the Galaxy Watch. I love that I can make calls and send texts without using my S10. When I go out, sometimes I don’t want to bring my phone and this is the solution! I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking to get a smartwatch. It’s simple to use and has so many features that I keep finding when I need it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking watch with good features I used to have the gear S3 but sold it because I wasn't able to use samsung pay, S voice was terrible, and just couldn't justify owning it. However with the new galaxy watch I feel like I'm using it much more. Bixby is an improvement although google would be far better. Rotating bezel is great for navigation and looks more sleek. Bigger battery is just awesome. Improved water resistance is more reassuring. Updated health apps and other small improvements seem to make it more useful. I can now use samsung pay so it's nice to use it on my watch. Loss of MST and not having google voice are the only complaints. But MST isn't as big a deal as I can still use my phone if needed. If they add back mst and give up on bixby in favor of google voice this would be the #1 watch hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver and Futuristic Samsung has been one of the brands I trust when buying a smart watch and as an early adopter of tech products, I have tried and used every generation of Samsung Gear S series and Galaxy watches. It's been an evolutionary engineering adventure of every iteration of this category and Samsung has surprised me every time with their smart watches. I have been using Galaxy Watch with LTE connectivity for a number weeks and have been able to put this watch to a number of tests starting from battery longevity to water resistance and more. All in all, this watch has impressed me and my expectations have been truly met. First of all, let's look at the design: the 46mm watch is definitely ergonomically positioned for people with bigger wrists and looks just right on my hand. Its screen is very vibrant, big enough and very user friendly due to the rotating wheel which is pretty ingenious in itself. By rotating the wheel, you are able to switch through the menus and different watch faces effortlessly. The ridges on the wheel are great as your fingers can grip it without any problems. The two buttons on the side of the watch are also tactile friendly and serve as a Back button and a Menu button. Secondly, this watch is running Tizen and Samsung engineers have perfected this software since first generation and I simply enjoy using it. The latest firmware upgrade brought One UI and 4.0 version to the watch and it feels like it is a brand new watch all over again. The graphics encouraging you to exercise and when you accomplish your goals are superb and fun! Since this watch has a speaker built in, you are able to hear & feel all the notifications & nudges. The LTE functionality adds so much value to this watch, it is simply a must to have in my opinion. What it means is once you add your Galaxy Watch to your wireless plan, this watch gets its own phone number & an unlimited data plan. If for some reason you leave your phone at home, you are still in business, as all your calls and text messages will be automatically forwarded to your watch, & you can respond by using your voice, pick up phone calls, make calls, etc. This Galaxy watch pretty much becomes your phone on your wrist! Believe it or not I was even able to watch YouTube videos and listen to Internet radio by connecting my Galaxy Buds to the watch, it makes the experience even better. One huge plus to mention is its Battery life, 3 and a half days! No other smart watch offers it. Definitely a must have watch! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch LTE 46mm The Galaxy Watch LTE 46mm is a watch that is very high quality. Let me start by saying that I've owned a Galaxy S3 watch and I can see improvements including battery life, overall quality and feel and step accuracy. I run about 15 miles a week and I notice that this watch can more accurately show me my exact distance and burned calories. I also like that this is an LTE model so I can stream music from Spotify on this watch without downloading a playlist. If you don't have an LTE variant you can download music to your onboard storage. But streaming saves time and space. I'm also able to leave my phone at my desk at work and walk around the building and still receive text messages and calls which is a great convenience. Going to the beach I'm able to leave my phone in my car, go swimming and still receive everything. The overall OS, menu and interaction are identical to the S3 including the buttons and spin dial. Although the dial does feel stiffer and better quality. One item that isn't included in this watch that the S3 had was MST (Magnetic Strip Technology) which is what Samsung has in most of their phones to allow you to pay almost anywhere. I now have to be cautious to make sure it's a terminal with NFC (Near Field Communication) which is the technology other brands use as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch 46mm This watch is by far one of the best I've had. This is the third Samsung branded watch I've used (Gear 2, S2, S3 Frontier), and it has the best battery. On the subject of Battery, it was able to go a long time the first time I charged it (I was able to go about 3 days); now I can only go 2, so battery life gets significantly worse after the first few weeks of wear. Other than that, the graphics are smooth, phone calls come across it very well, people can hear me well on the other end. I love being able to answer my phone on the watch while I'm driving. If you haven't gotten a new watch in a while, you owe it to yourself to take a look at the Galaxy Watch 46mm! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hardware mediocre software I love the watch but wish I could use google assistant and other google apps. Bixby voice is far inferior to google assistant. Unfortunately, because it runs on tyzen rather than android wear, google apps like maps, google assistant and many other apps cannot be installed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch packed with features In full disclosure this is my second watch. The first one did not read steps or HR properly. This one is working as expected with the exception that the HR is still very sensitive to motion. The ability to take calls on the watch and check your schedule without have to break out your phone is a serious win. Overall very happy with the watch and love the 4 day battery life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A watch for everyday use One of the reasons I purchased this watch is because you can customize it to use everyday for any occasion. The custom watch faces can change from a classic watch for a formal event to a sport face for fitness. You can even add the "ticking" soud!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over all GREAT watches! I bought my husband the 46mm silver watch and I bought myself the 42mm rose gold watch. My husband loves all the features and so do I.The battery last me all day and I love the charging dock. When I make a call it is clear and I live that I don't have to hold my phone to my ear. I am still trying to figure out what all I can do with my watch but I LOVE it! Samsung has never let us down, all the electronics we have purchased have been of excellent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miserable I cannot for the life of me get text messages to sound or vibrate on the watch. It appears common in forums. Most everything else does, just not the most important thing. It's clunky if you get multiple texts. I do since I don't get notified and when I check there's a ton. I often"clear all" by mistake before I read anything because of the clunkyness. It's going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Samsung Watch The Samsung Galaxy Watch is an update to the 2016 Samsung Gear S3. Samsung upgraded the hardware, HR sensor, and battery. Samsung kept the style of the Gear S3 and the rotating bezel. In my opinion, the rotating bezel is stand out feature of Galaxy Watch. I will be reviewing the Galaxy Watch 46mm. I'm disappointed that Samsung only offered one color, black bezel with a silver body, for the 46mm version but you can always get a case to change the look. In the box, you will get a wireless charger, a short and long strap, and the Galaxy Watch. The charger's cord looks and feels cheap which is a downgrade from the Gear S3 also the Gear S3 charger is not compatible with the Galaxy Watch. The included strap fits much better than the included Gear S3 strap which is an upgrade. The box cannot be used as a charging dock, unlike the Gear S3. The Galaxy Watch and Gear S3 share the same software except for a few differences. The updated HR sensor gives the Galaxy Watch the ability to measure a continuous stress level and sleep cycle. The updated CPU and ram make notification pop up quick without delay and using the bezel to rotate between widgets is smooth and quick. The fitness tracking features are great and the auto-identification of excises works well. Samsung's watch software has all the essential apps you need on a smartwatch. The best and biggest upgrade is the battery, it lasts for days. If you turn on all the features, always on display, continuous HR, continuous stress and all location features. The watch will still have power at the end of the day. If you turn off the display you will get two days. I pretty sure three days is possible with a few more feature turned off. Another great thing is the sleep tracking only uses 10% of the battery even with third-party apps. The battery on this watch is the best in a full feature smartwatch. In summary, the Galaxy Watch is a worthy upgrade to the Gear S3. I love that Samsung makes a round watch with a rotating bezel. I definitely recommend for any Samsung or Andriod phone user. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best smartwatch experience It took a considerable time for me to finally decide and purchase a smartwatch. I have researched the current state of the systems and options available and I finally decided on the Galaxy watch. My patients and research have paid off handsomely. This product is excellent in every way, from quality and ease-of-use, to fashion and flexibility. Connecting to my Samsung smart phone was a breeze.all its features are well laid out and make using the watch a pleasure in daily activities. Weather is getting notifications or weather updates or making phone calls or listening to music or reading emails, the what delivers flawlessly.I am extremely happy with my purchase and will recommend it to all my friends and Associates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch. Needs more apps. I've been eyeing up this watch for a while now and finally was able to get it for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Cool...Room for Improvements I had always wanted a smart watch, and since my phone is a Galaxy, and I utilize Samsung SmartThings to govern all the smart tech at home, this purchase was a logical choice. While Samsung develops and modifies their products towards the masses, not every desire may be available with the watch itself. For example, some applications on your phone may not be compatible with the watch and fail to produce alerts even with notifications for said app turned on. Additionally, the capabilities between the watch and Samsung SmartThings is limited. It does offer general control for your smart tech, but certain routines and/or scenes may not duplicate from the classic app to the newer SmartThings version. The watch only recognizes routines/scenes which are in the newest SmartThings app, while some users (including myself) prefer the classic app. Overall great product, but not perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Incredible Galaxy Watch! I have been using fitness trackers and smart watches for five years now. I have used several Fitbit devices and several Wear OS devices in addition to the Samsung Gear Fit 2, Gear S3 (my latest device) and now the Galaxy Watch. There is no competition. The Galaxy Watch has an amazing mixture of battery life close to the highest end Fitbits and Smartwatch features rivaling Wear OS while having the slickest watch interface period. The ability to store music directly on the watch and play it on Bluetooth headphones with no phone present is a fantastic way to avoid distraction and bulk when working out and the GPS tracking is a blessing for outdoor activities like walking, running and cycling. Automatic features like sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring are great data points for you utilize to seek improvement in the quality of your life. Wireless charging means no fiddling with the cradle to get tiny contact points to settle in and refill the device. The included band is not the most stylish, but it is very comfortable and you can easily switch it with any regular 22mm watch band, no proprietary connector needed. This watch is incredible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Galaxy Watch is great! I've had the Galaxy watch for a few days, and it's great. The screen is large and easy to read. The battery is very long lasting; I charge it every two or three days. The dial and two buttons make it easy to control. The waterproofing works exceptionally well. I've had it in chlorine pools, and after a quick rinse, the watch is all fine after. The speakers and microphone are unaffected, and phone calls through the watch work just as well. The biometric tracking appears to be effective. Sleep tracking numbers appear to be similar to the numbers I've gotten from other devices. The heartrate numbers appear a bit high, I but I can't say if they are more or less accurate than other devices. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My honest review for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm I was so excited that I finally got a chance to try the Samsung Galaxy Watch. It is truly great looking design. It looks like a normal watch. You can tell its high quality materials. The rotating bezel is a great interface. The display is really good with sharp, rich colors and easily visible. I own a Samsung Galaxy S10+, and the pairing was so easy. I was amazed from all of the smart features integrated into my S10+. The battery life is amazing almost 3 days with normal to heavy use. I tried taking a bath with the watch and it is waterproof. I haven't tried it swimming in deep pool. Love the samsung health app keeps tracks of many exercises. This is a truly amazing piece of technology, until you get one you see how useful it is. My only concern was about the larger size of the 46mm against my thinner wrist. However, when I tried the 46mm on my hand, it did not feel out of place. You can check the pictures that I posted that looks wider but actually feels comfortable. Maybe my best option was to purchase the 42mm. I highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the bad and the good At first, I must admit I was a little skeptical concerning this watch, as I had purchased two AZW watches that were bulky and buggy; and ultimately returned them for refunds. But this skepticism for the Samsung Galaxy 4G LTE 46 mm was quickly defused as I wore the watch the very first time; unlike the AZW watches this watch was light and it felt better on my wrist. It has not been buggy; however my experience for the battery life has proven disappointing, as it needs a charge every other day as opposed to the 3-4 day life I found in it's reviews I read; that's the bad. The good is this watch has many feature benefits that have proven a God-send for my needs in a personal assistant let alone just a watch. The many built-in health apps have coordinated nicely with me growing need to lose that unwanted baggage I have been adding on over the years. The seamless blue-tooth connectivity with my new car. The plethora of watch faces I need for my constantly changing preferences. The incoming call alerts that I would have missed earlier due to my always silenced cellphone for the work hours and Church services; where silence is a must. The more than ample drive space for the many apps I discover almost everyday. Not to mention, the peace of mind that comes with a Samsung engineered product designed for people like me. Thanks Samsung! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

No smartphone or TV before.. So I do the unboxing.. very nice presentation.. Charge up the Galaxy watch.. it actually had about 72 % so didn't really even need to :).. but alas here's where the problem starts.. No vibrations from the watch..No notification, which is the primary reason I got the watch, superior build quality and experience.. but yes no notification and my alarm didn't vibrate to wake me up.. So going to give it a few more days and if things don't work out I'm just returning this.. So very disappointed. :(

I had been looking at them for some time now, and I chose this one. Here is what sold it for me: I have Sleep Apnea and I use a Cpap machine at night to help with the sleep apnea, well this watch has the ability to track my sleep and tell me how the sleep was last night. Sure my Fitbit did some of this, but this watch goes deeper by breaking it down as to what type of sleep I got.

Maybe my best option was to purchase the 42mm. I highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch First smart watch I purchased, and was not disappointed. The store I bought it from had employees who actually owned this so I got their feedback. It was easy to set up with the phone. Didn't even need instructions for it. There is about 10 different screens you can choose from to show you the time. You can add contacts to make it easier to call, or text them with your watch. Good thing is you can choose with notifications you want so you don't get bombarded with notifications throughout the day. This watch does last me about 4 days before I have to recharge it so that is amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Watch! I can't think of a single thing I don't like about this watch. I bought the watch to pair with my one Samsung Note 9 phone and it has been one of the best investments I've made. Battery life is top notch, tracking is always very accurate, speakers are clear and at a good volume level. This watch has it all. If you're in the market for a new smartwatch and you already own a Samsung phone, there isn't a better one you can find on the market than this. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smart Watch! I have had my 46mm Galaxy Watch (Bluetooth) a little over 2 weeks now. This is a great piece of Tech and I recommend to anyone that they get this if they are interested. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from foldable watch in future model... Anyone know if there are plans to release a foldable screen watch since the foldable phones have started? Maybe tri-fold with a plug in vr wearable glasses... hot swappable sim card from your existing phone into the watch... 1 tb micro sdcard... solar charging display screen... satellite up link option in case there aren't any cell towers while sailing halfway around the world... Projector mode to display a 50" screen on any wall to watch movies... lastly, a built-in led flashlight with dual 4k camera/video for secret agent mode. The removable watch head that can fly like a drone for the 2nd edition to be used as selfies or vlogging...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Product! Great job Samsung. I absolutely love this watch! It is a big upgrade from my old Gear Fit 2. Before I had the chance to get this watch I was thinking of giving up on Samsung. All of those thoughts have quickly gone away after a week with this watch. I love the look and feel of it. The knob feels great and the texture on the buttons is a nice touch. The battery life is much better than the Gear Fit's. I tested this in a pool and the water mode worked very well. I was in the water for about 25-30 minutes with the watch submerged for most of that time and it came out on top. It detects my workouts very well. I love all of the widgets and the removable band. Night mode is something I also adore because I like sleeping with my watch on so it tracks my sleep and the fact that it can schedule itself is amazing. There is only one thing that I don't like about this watch and it is that it only has 4GB of storage. I wish there was an option to get more like at least 8GB. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, but they removed MST from SansumgPay Battery life is better than my S2 and S3, but not worth the loss of MST functionality with SamsungPay. They did a huge disservice to US customers where 90% of terminals aren't NFC-enabled yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st time smartwatch The watch is pretty cool! I have enjoyed it over the last month that I have owned it. Not rated a 5 basically because I am less than impressed with the heart rate monitoring. I do a lot of workouts, and seem to lose connection for accurate HR -- that's a bummer when you are trying to target a certain HR zone for workouts. I've tried tightening it down tight as well??? who knows.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little watch, tizen is disappointing I bought this watch to replace an original Huawei watch. It's nice and snappy, looks good and the battery lasts me all day plus a little more. But the apps available for tizen are just bad. genuinely bad. And at this price, it looks particularly undeveloped compared to any of the WearOS fare. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this until Tizen gets improved (and it hasn't for several years now)

Not only is it the most beautiful smart watch on the market right now, its feature-packed and does everything I could possibly need from a smart watch. Sometimes I catch myself using it note than my phone. I have nothing bad to say about this product. Owned the gear S3 and gifted it and bought the Galaxy Watch, and I would buy it again. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packed like a tesseract!! I enabled the engineering diagnostics mode and it started to unfold in the 4th dimension like a tesseract. I marvelled at all the features as they slowly rotated while folding in and out of themselves in front of my somewhat restricted 3D vision system (eyes). Clearly this was the only way that Samsung could get so many features packed into a regular sized watch. There's a full color OLED touchscreen, rotating selector bezel and two multifunction buttons. There's is bluetooth and an LTE modem with a speaker and microphone for completely hands free & cell phone free calls. A battery that can last for 3-4 days and GPS, heart rate and motion sensor! There is even more, but I would run out of space trying to list them. I added a youtube review where I compared it to my old watch. Also I demonstrate how easy it is to change the silicon strap to a steel band. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving this watch I owned the ZTE watch before purchasing this watch. MAJOR differences upfront... The Samsung watch was easier to navigate, it also linked to my phone faster with the wearable app. which if you have the IconX ear buds you can link the music from your phone to the watch and from the ear buds, neat feature. I changed the band on my watch cause the rubber band made my arm sweat a lot. I put on a stylish chain kink band that makes my smart watch look very good with my clothing. and it doesn't stand out as just being my smart watch. The features of the exercise coach was awesome. During a meeting recently, it came on to do a torso twist as I had been sitting for too long. once my coordinator saw what i was doing we did it as a class every time it popped up. You won't be disappointed with theis purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Anything you can do I can do better! The Galaxy Watch 46 mm edition comes with a silver body and black bezel. Out of the box it came with its base charging station, cable is the USB Type-A (not sure why Type C is not used maybe profile size so they could use the same stand as past models? Large rubber watch band and a standard charging plug. Once charged I was ready to pair my watch to my GS9+ using the Wear App. From there it first took me through the steps to pair. Then it gave me the option to restore from my Gear S3, now this was awesome I didn’t have to go through and reset my watch face or even reconfigure all of my quick apps. Finally it had the OneUI update to complete. From there I wanted to see how it compared with active tracking and my steps challenge for that same week. In my quest for 100,000 steps for the week (which yes I did complete) I found the auto detection of a work out to be very close to perfect it was about 20 seconds behind and that’s fine I feel it will avoid those false quickly little walks/runs to grab something. For day 1 I was at 15k steps and had only used about 75% of my battery that right there was a massive improvement for me. The stock band is a perfect fit and I’m sticking with it. The watch processor is much faster than the GS3 I started noticing lags when calls or text would come in with the past watch, but this model shows them to me instantly. I love the Spotify integration it allows me to download my favorite tracks to my watch and go phone free into the gym. Mine is not LTE so I won’t get calls or text, but that’s okay I’m trying to stay focused anyways. The Galaxy watch has not only impressed me in performance it has add a nice contrast in colors for visual style. I have only had the watch for 2 weeks, but it has already helped me track my heart rates, calories, idle time reminders to walk, cups of water, steps, alarms/alerts I set via Bixby and most importantly the weight I’ve lost since taking on the challenge to be more active to lose weight before my next upcoming birthday. Your wrist should no longer just carry around a device that tells you the date and time. It needs to carry with you a new way to stay connected and on track! Thank you #GalaxyWatchInsiders for allowing me to be a part of the #GalaxyWatch family. There is so many more small to little things you can do with this watch that I just don’t have enough room to brag about it here, but ask around and you will hear firsthand from owners how much they truly love their Galaxy Watches. Rated 5 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED I bought the Samsung watch by thanksgiving because I want be able to record my running distances as accurately as possible, and I unhappy. I run every day around 4 miles at an inside gym and it only registers 0.9, 0.8 to a 1 mile. I used it once outside, but it was cloudy and likewise it would only registered half of the distance I ran. I do not use the watch a lot and I have to charge it every two days. I do not recommend this Watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had google assistant on here Battery life is amazing 4+ days easily. Watch notifies you if you’re inactive for too long and prompts you to get up or stretch. This watch would be nearly impossible to beat if it just had google assistant on it.....bixby bla bla bla , it has a HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS, inability to perform speech to text recognition. Siri, bixby,Alexa and whatever is out there simply can’t even measure up to google assistant. The watch is absolutely top notch quality and function!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A step backwards in time I received this watch as a gift, easily paired it with my phone. I love the styling. I don't like that the largest available watch band fits way too tight and is on the last hole. The heart rate and especially the steps counter seems much more accurate than previous smart/fitness watches I've had before. Unfortunately, this watch does not play nice with others. The operating system is Samsung's own proprietary system not, unfortunately, Android. As a result, this watch does not play nice with my phone. The biggest feature missing that has me scratching my head is that I cannot control the music I am listening to on my phone through a wired headset. This is a feature that many basic fitness bands have, yet somehow it is missing on my latest and greatest Galaxy Watch. I think I want to move back to the other Galaxy where things just work, and work well.

The battery lasts so much longer than the S3. It's a very smooth operating watch, graphics are smooth, bezel is smooth. I really love all this watch has to offer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Incredible Galaxy Watch I have been using fitness trackers and smart watches for five years now. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite watch yet! I’ve owned the Samsung Gear Fit2, the Gear S2, and now the Galaxy watch. Of them all the new Galaxy watch takes the cake. You can see many similarities, but the most notable of all improvements is the battery life. The S2 barely lasted a day which lead me to use the fit2 more frequently. However, in the Galaxy Watch I get multiple days allowing for true full sleep and health tracking. Not only does the batter last for a good while, but the wireless charging is very fast. Pop in on the charger while you watch your favorite show and you’ll have plenty more juice left for a few more days. That goes without mentioning the fact that if you have a Samsung S10 or S10+ to pair with it that if you are ever truly low on juice, you can wirelessly charge the watch from your phone! You cannot beat the look of this beauty either. With a clean sophisticated look, you can customize the watch face to whatever your liking. I’ve found myself using a straight digital display to show me everything day to day but then switching to a more traditional dial watch face for more formal occasions. With built in motion sensing the glean across the screen even reacts giving it a real look and feel while still being a digital watch. The health measuring is nice as well, it track and inform on the quality of sleep I am getting. A great feature I’ve found useful is auto night mode. It learns your nightly habits and will automatically kick into night mode at the times you tend to go to sleep. What this does is limit the wake-up features, so you don’t get unwanted notifications in the middle of the night or an unwanted night light on your wrist. With the automatic tracker, the watch will auto detect what you are doing and log it for you! My only gripe with the tracking is the same as the S2 and Fit2 in that it does struggle to accurately track floors. But that is barely a concern for me as everything else is on point. Another great feature I’ve been using more and more of is the ability to use Samsung Pay straight from your wrist. The convenience of Samsung Pay before was using your phone and never having to pull out your wallet, now Samsung has taken it a step further. Similar to the phone app, the watch version has a keypress shortcut. Just input your security code and tap your wrist on the NFC sensor and viola your purchase is complete. So easy! Is a smart watch a must-have, maybe not, but if you are going to wear a watch you might as well get one that does everything for you! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't Think it Could Get Better I have been a user and fan of Samsung Smart Watches since day 1, literally. While I've experienced all the different iterations of Samsung's Smart Watches, I really feel like this unit is the best 1 to date. At 1st I thought the size was a bit large but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortably it sits on my wrist. The "always on" function is something that I've wanted in a watch for a while and I am completely satisfied with the long battery life the watch has, even with this function turned on. The watch remains stylish whether wearing casual or dressed up. The watch bands are extremely easy to swap out so that I can match my style for the day. While I haven't jumped in a swimming pool with it on, I had the unfortunate experience getting ketchup all over the face of the watch and had no problem running it directly under water and washing it off with no affect on the watch. The health apps on the watch are informative and almost intuitive, working quietly in the background without annoying me all day. This is by far the best smart watch I have owned to date. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade from gear s2 to galaxy 46mm I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. I have really enjoyed using the new galaxy 46mm and it's a huge upgrade from the gear s2. The battery on the new watch is great because it last for days but if you charge it every day its seems to loose charge faster. So what I have done is use the watch until the battery is close to or fully depleted. I am a very active person and I enjoy working out and running so the watch does a good job of tracking my workouts either using the map or time and which workout it is. The the calling feature is something new to me and I love how well it works with the phone. Some apps have trouble with the notification from phone to watch but the most important things do show up on the watch. I also like how I can control my music on the watch and it also plays music if I want It too. The stress meter and heartrate tracter are great and teach me how to do a better job controlling my body. The recent update on the watch as made it more enjoyable to use. The first look at the watch makes it look uncomfortable to wear but once you have it on it looks and feels good. I want to thank the insiders group for allowing me to buy the watch and enjoy something new. Also a shout out to Samsung for always making great products [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lack of Marketing for LTE, No MST, Only 1 design 1. Great job promoting the watch but at the event in which I watched live it did not specify that the LTE version was not going to be available on the 24th. I had to waste time trying to figure that out on my own. 2. No MST is a big mistake on this phone. As a purchaser of watch for my company we utilize this feature a lot on the S3 frontier. Now we have to come up with a different solution as we build technical debt. 3. You should have had at least 3 design options for the 46mm version. A watch is supposed to be functional and fashionable and there is a gap in the ladder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery life + Bezel = Sale Listen, 1-star reviewers - I would have liked MST too, but this is a bluetooth watch. When are you going to be taking it around without your phone? If a Samsung engineer said to me, "Would you like MST or more battery life?" I'd choose improved battery life. So making this 1 star for that reason is kind of sad. This watch has the best method of interacting with the phone on the market, has great battery life, and is the best-looking. So I rate it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First series always come with issues I've had my Galaxy watch under a month and a few weeks and I've noticed some hiccups. The main reason for my purchase was for the step counter. Sure, I could've bought a Fitbit and be happy, but I own many household Samsung products and electronics, so why change? Now I'm noticing missing "significant" step counts. The first 2 weeks were spot on, and soon after, I noticed some lagging. I tried to play it down to lack of contact but that wasn't the case given it still reads my heart rate overnight every 10 minutes. So what gives??? I did some research online and sure enough, I wasn't alone. There are countless of others experiencing the same thing. I'm losing faith in my purchase and have regrets of buying the "first series." I know better and should've waited to read about the bugs or defective issues. Now I'm stuck with a $350 watch that can't operate the most fundamental feature every smart watch offers. Unfortunately, I rely on that feature for my health insurance premium discount and my window to exchange is gone. Thanks for the support Samsung. Now I'm looking for a Fitbit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must have Smart Watch Samsung has been one of the brands I trust when buying a smart watch and as an early adopter of tech products, I have tried and used every generation of Samsung Gear S series and Galaxy watches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Disappointed Not sure why others are having problems with the watch, I bought my watch 2 months ago and the battery has last me 4 and half days. I have only loaded two new face watch and left the watch settings the same as when I bought it, the step count is a little off but that is minor to me, as for everything else it does what it was meant to do I have no complaints, nothing is perfect. Forgot to mention the Samsung pay seems to work ok, on occasion it doesn't work but overall it works. So my final thought about the watch is that I like it, it's not for everyone and everyone is different in likes and dislikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive watch I have been using this product for the past 1 week and here is the verdict to the Samsung’s 46mm Galaxy Watch. The Good: The setup was relatively easy and took me 5 minutes to fully set it up. The longest part was the software and firmware updates, but that took 3 minutes. You can fully customize this watch, including the background, light and apps associated with it. The watch can track your sleep, heart, calories, steps and climb. The watch is mostly made of stainless steel and is sturdy enough to take it to the gym; you can even take a shower and swim with it as it is water-resistant. The Best: I have used 5x Samsung Pay since I have got the watch and I can believe how easy it is to use it and set it up. It takes relatively 1 sec to confirm the pay and off you go! The Outstanding: I am a casual user of all electronic devices (phone and watch). This means that every 30 minutes, I am on it. After 2 days, the battery was roughly 55% consumed and at day 5 it needed to be recharged. Considering the fact that I have used the watch to check on the weather, time, pay and even control the music on Spotify, this is way more battery life that I have expected. Regardless to say, an occasional user should be able to get at least 7 days out of it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Had many smart watches (including Apple watches) in the past but this is my first experience with Samsung line. What’s there to complain? Set up was a breeze with Note 8, display is super crisp, bezel dial is very each to navigate, some tweaking was need to maximize the battery life to 3 days so far. When I had always on display, heart rate monitor to be on all the time (just like Fitbit), about 5 notifications to be on, after about 24 hours, I had about 30% left. But after some tweaking, batter life improved drastically. I don’t know much about MST but NFC; Samsung pay works well for me. Samsung Health on the watch is great to look at with all of the dashboards at your finger tips. Stress test and heart rate monitoring are awesome. Bixby is hit and miss for not hearing it right for the first time and unlike Samsung phones, I found that functions are limited such as scheduling a meeting on the watch isn’t supported. Overall, I am very pleased with the watch. I thought 46mm was a little too big but it really isn’t.
