Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ginormous!!! I've had my S8 Ultra for about 5 months now and it has not been a disappointment. This is my first android tablet; I had originally planned to get the S8+ but am so glad I decided to "go big or go home" in this regard. This has just about replaced my laptop for daily activities including work such as doing Zoom meetings and taking notes. Performance has certainly been off the charts no matter how much I throw at it. I have no regrets and am looking forward to the next big thing they have to offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the one! I own multiple pro and midrange series tablets from Samsung's major competitor, they are usually my go to tablets, however this is the one I reach for now. The AMOLED display is beautiful and I don't have to cover it up with a matte protector to use the pen well like competitor pens. I love that the S Pen does more than just write and it comes WITH the tablet. I also got the S Pen Pro and I love how it works with this tablet. Swapping from my S6 lite to this one was a breeze and so was logging into everything! The gallery app on this tablet far out performs any other gallery app I've tried and that is important for my use (digital planning/journaling). Battery life is pretty good lasts several hours with heavy use. I love that you can customize most everything on this tablet. I love that I can adjust the split screen more precisely than competitor tablets. I also got the book case keyboard (without track pad) and I love using it with this tablet! I usually keep it on and just flip it back when not in use, which I can't do with my competitor tablet keyboard. I do wish more apps were optimized for the tablet because if I'm using the keyboard it can be annoying to have to flip it back to use a portrait orientation app, but I'm assuming that will come with Android 12L. The color is beautiful on this Pink Gold version. I'm not big on the placement of the pen, however the book case has a spot to store the pen, so I'm not fussed about it. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this tablet! And if you're trying to decide between this tablet and a well known competitor, unless you're dependent on the ecosystem, go with this one. You get more value for the money, the pen comes with it, you don't need to buy a matte protector, cheaper but quality keyboard options, AMOLED display, expandable storage, and the list goes on! You won't regret it getting this tablet! I very seriously considered swapping back to Android after getting this tablet. 5/5 stars for me! Well done Samsung!

As a matter of fact, I have an A52 5g phone and galaxy buds 2. I will eventually get me a Samsung smartwatch and laptop. Oh I almost forgot. I got a Samsung TV too. I love Samsung!

Had reservations about the weight and after using for little over a month, can say it is pretty good overall. Typing on attached Keyboard is very good. Using the pen (not that much) and for its use for taking notes and occasional drawing, sees to work very well. Couple of things to remeber, keyboard magnets hold pretty well but should not risk holding by keyboard. When using as a true laptop felt backstand could have been little more stronger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in LOVE! This tablet is replacing an older Samsung table that I used daily for 10 years. The old one still has a lot of life left, but this new one blows my mind. The screen is huge, and the colors are so vibrant. The hard drive is plenty big for my needs (and then some). It has more than enough memory, and the stylus is a bit addictive. I never used the stylus with my older tablet, but I just love my stylus with this new tablet. Long battery life, and the pink gold color is just beautiful. I will be using this tablet daily going forward. It's my new obsession. My television and cell phone are both Samsung products, and I appreciate how easy this new tablet works with them seamlessly.

The thought of using a stylus with a tablet was never really something that I thought I would like.. but I must say, I love it. The stylus is so comfortable to hold and it just glides across the screen effortlessly. The brightness and colors are epic on this thing. Having such a great time with all the drawing and coloring apps. Most of my time is spent playing Diablo Immortal. This tablet runs it flawlessly. No complaints here - I highly recommend this tablet!

The screen is crystal clear and it runs everything like a dream. The screen is large but thin. If you want a true tablet experience, don't go with the ultra. If you want the the feel and portability of a tablet with the specs of a laptop, this is your device

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek, smooth, and pretty big! I've never had a tablet, so I don't know what I had expected. Maybe something smaller? This tablet is about the size of a notebook. The pen is magnetic and sticks to the sides and back. It was easy to set up and works very much like your phone. I haven't really added too much to it yet. Video and picture quality is amazing! I love that I can draw and color on pictures and photos. This tablet is really cool!

You end up using it mostly at home as a result. But in terms of what the tablet is, it really is the best tablet on the market right now and totally recommended

It has made taking notes in class much easier since I no longer have to carry around a notebook everywhere. I can even access it from my phone and computer easily making studying much more easily. Just not a fan of having identical notifications between my phone and the tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I waited for the Tab S8 series I purchased a Tab S6 lite in 2021 to replace the older Tab A. I loved the S6 lite but it didn't have enough ram for me and that's important for me as I use it for everything, and I mean I would be very happy to just use my tablet to replace all electronic.. the screen resolution on the S8 and the sound is perfect, the S pen is the only little hiccup.. the pen attaching (btw S pen has improved from previous versions imo) but a tad annoying when I'm doing something and the pen disconnects I don't want to damage it by having the tablet rest on it while charging. The charging (no adapters or anything with this one) however for me it's not an issue of importance because I already have everything needed from getting better charging cords and power adapters (want to stop those annoying incidents when the cord starts fraying?? Search Titan Power) Samsung even listened to consumers and made it possible to disable and remove permissions more than ever and I'm really happy that I have a few additional years of upgrades!! The only downside I have now is today lon this website, I could have gotten it cheaper and been able to actually trade in one of the other 2 tablets to save even more!!

The design has a bigger screen 14.6 inches and less border so you get a great picture that is very clear! I love all the functions of the S pen being able to screen write, color, and use as a normal stylus. I also love that it comes with a data cable for easy transfer of documents and things to my laptop. It is very easy to set with a Samsung account. Charging is very fast and mine lasted for 24 hours before needing recharged. The only downfall is that it is wifi capable only and I can't add a Hotspot or anything to it. The 128 gb is more than enough space for all my pictures, videos, apps, and work documents. Cases and screen protectors are sold separately and not included with the tablet. The sound is also very crisp and clear.

Not worring about having to carry a heavy piece on your bag or suitcase. The only issue I find is the price for the keyboard. It's so expensive. Other that that no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tablet for students! I bought this tablet a month ago, wanting to try digital note taking. It was a spendy purchase for a student, but I have no regret. This tablet is great for student because how easily it is to split screen with two different apps running, it can also run more apps on the same screen at the same time. I spend most my hours on Samsung notes my primary note taking app. I bought it with other intent as well such as watching streaming platforms and have no battery issues. The sound quality is great and the screen quality even if it isn't using the vibrant setting it still looks fantastic. The Amoled screen definitely is a plus to have. I also use it for piano music sheets, I have replaced paper sheets and couldn't be more happier, way easier to flip between sheets. The pen charges very quickly and can last longer than it suggests, or so in my experience. This tablet took a huge weight out of my backpack since I will no longer be needing my notebooks anymore.

I'm not having to sit around and wait like I have with my other tablet . Its so sleek and stylish . It feels and fits very well in my hand . I love the S pen and all the features it offers . I enjoy spending hours using it to color and draw during my spare time . The sound is amazing coming from the speakers even with songs that have some bass its sounds better than expected . The S pen responds very well . I like how well it stays magnetized to the back of the tablet the power and volume buttons are nice. I do wish they stuck out a little more . They are a little difficult to find when you have a case on the tablet .Not really a big issue beings I can just turn the tablet to the side to see . The picture quality is better than my actual phone I have . I'd rather take pictures with this tablet instead. The battery life last awhile and I've only charged it twice since I've had it and I'm on it constantly. I like that the charging cable that came included was a nice good size and not some palm sized ones like I've received in the past from other brands . The rear cameras work just as well as the front facing camera . Game play runs so smooth with no lags . Watching 4k videos and ultra HD has been my favorite. The large screen makes for easy reading . I live that this tablet offers so much for me that I don't have to drag out my laptop at all anymore. It goes with me everywhere. Being able to add more storage space was a very important feature i wanted and this tablet offers that . I'm able to do my zoom video calls with ease. No worry about any lag interfering with my call. Quickly check my emails with lightning speed . Wifi works great . Initial setup didnt take as long as I expected and I had alot of stuff I wanted moved from ny phone to the tablet . It handles that task with ease . I'll open multiple windows to see if any slowness happens. Not an issue I had 36 tabs open and you wouldn't of known it with how well and fast the tablet still performed . I enjoy listening to my music through the app I was able to install in it . The speakers are so loud I can hear my music throughout the whole house and its all I need . Multitasking is so easy with this . I can work from my Gmail and quickly pull up another tab to browse the internet . Copy and paste feature works really well . The tablet feels so light in my hand but you can tell it was made to last. The colors it gives off are nice bright and vivid. The DEX feature was a nice suprise and I love it. I really can't say anything bad about this device. It performs so well for me bo matter what I'm doing . I can go from gaming , to being and artist , reading books or even watching movies with one quick motion . It's also perfect for traveling it kept my little ones entertained while we took a long travel to visit family.

I think Samsung is the new Apple in regard to innovation and work hard keep your loyalty. Very happy with my purchase and Samsung's support when I've needed it. I do wish there was an option to turn off some of the edge pixels from accidental touches given the super thin bezels. The Dex feature makes this tablet the best 2-in-1, and the reason why Samsung is the king of innovation now that Apple is so cautious it's boring. Way to go Samsung! So many features I could write a small book and spend a fulltime job learning. Thank you for reading my humble review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is a beast! I have now been working with the new Tab S8Ultra now for about a month and its a real game changer for me. When I am out and about on jobsites and need to view plans and possibly mark them up, this is the fastest way to do it. I previously had the S7+ and when I first started using that I thought it was possibly too big but after living with it for work, I saw the potential in having even a larger screen size. The writing experience is also notably better on this vs the S7 as well. Nice work Samsung!

Here is my review i been using Samsung tab S for a long time and ipad pro for the last 6 years I would say that the tab s8 ultra is a fun tablet to have compared to ipad pro , right now i have the tab s8 ultra and the ipad pro 12" 2021 I like more the tab s8 ultra the only advantage the ipad pro have is the battery on playing games, so far is the only downside of the ultra other then that is great tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Device I've Owned In Years! The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is an amazing device. I was apprehensive about it at first due to it's massive size but that worry was short lived. I received an amazing deal thanks to Samsung's incredible Trade-In program. Samsung did a great job with the build quality as well as the software intergration. It makes doing business tasks on this device a breeze. I am able to fully run my online fitness business using this device to the point where i don't even turn on my laptop or desktop anymore. The Ultra pairs seemlessly to bluetooth keyboard and mouse and unlocks a laptop/desktop type feel while using the tablet. Samsung Dex just takes it to another level, with the ability to open apps into small windows and connect to a larger monitror. I love how Samsung has intergrated Microsoft into their system so you are able to get the best of both worlds. The cameras on this thing are very nice, and I adore Samsung's auto framing feature while on video calls. Quickshare lets me eaisly share content between my other devices, namely my Galaxy S22 Ultra, much like Apple's airdrop. This Tablet has changed the way I do business and has helped to streamline my processes so I am more efficient and able to utilize less equipment to get things done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Connectivity I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I was initially very happy with it. It has an amazing screen and easy setup. However, I was quickly disappointed by the fact that the wi-fi is embarrassingly slow. All of my other devices connect to my home internet and work incredibly well, but the Tab S8 Ultra continues to struggle to connect and even when it connects, the speed is significantly slower than other devices on the same network. Again, even when it's connected, some apps will say that they are unable to connect to their servers. I've even tried wi-fi direct from my cell phone's 5G and the results are the same (not to mention, I've made sure all of the software is up-to-date). If Samsung would have offered the option for a 5G Tab S8 Ultra, this may not have been a problem. As it stands, a device built with a strong emphasis on content consumption and creation lacks a fundamental necessity: a functional and reliable means of connecting to the internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Wins Again I purchased this tablet back in February but it was on backorder due to high demand. I didn't receive it until April 7th but it was well worth the wait. I had the Tab S 7+ and I was so excited about upgrading because this tablet had all the features of my old tablet plus more(pun intended). I was blown away when it arrived. It felt extremely solid and looked amazing. It made my S 7+ look like a toy when I say them next to each other. I love the functionality, resolution, size and most of all the second screen option. I work from home and this allows me to be productive from anywhere in my house with second screen. Overall this is the best device that I have ever purchased. Thank you Samsung for being so innovative and always thinking about your customers.

The back of my tablet is the pink gold color, which is such a chic and pretty color. The tablet itself is thin and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. The camera quality is amazing. The colors are super bright and you can see fine details in the pictures that are taken. The same goes for video streaming. Colors are vibrant, the videos are crisp and clear. Having a tablet of this size makes it really easy to enjoy streaming as well as admire any photos that were taken. What I really enjoy most about the S8+ is the notes section, which allows you to draw. It’s really inspired me to get back into art and learn some new digital art skills. The tablet offers the ability to draw or write with a pen, pencil, paintbrush, and more with a variety of colors. This tablet is great for artists. Actually, I think everything about this tablet is pretty awesome and it charges extremely quickly as well.

I mostly use this tablet for leisure activities such as streaming movies and tv shows as well as playing games. Its a great size for video streaming as my wife and i watch movies in bed together and love the wide screen. The video quality is exceptional! Taking notes on this tablet has a paper and pencil feel with the Ultra pen that comes with the tablet. When writing there is a consistency and feel of paper and not as if you are writing on a glass screen. This is an additional tablet to other tablets by other brands that are in my home and has easily became the family favorite tablet. I have not one bad thing to say about this tablet. EVERYONE should own one and experience what the ULTRA has to offer.

I had a S7 tablet which I was very happy with however I regretted not buying the larger S7+ so I decided to go with the largest option for the S8 and initially the Ultra seemed almost too big. Once I got used to the size however I'm glad I went with the Ultra as it's still very convenient to carry, does everything you'd want from a tablet and basically functions like a full laptop when needed. Great product. I do miss the rose gold color of my S7 but the graphite looks cool too.

I recently purchased a book cover/keyboard for it. It allows me to use it as a PC. I can open multiple windows, create and edit my document, drag and drop, and right-click as if I am on a PC with it. The Galaxy Tab S8 comes with an S pen, 11-inch WQXGA display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8000 mAh battery with 45 W charging speed, and a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13 MP sensor, and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies, Adreno 730 GPU,8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage and microSDXC up to 1024 GB Storage expansion. The tablet is a perfect size, comfortable, and light in my hands. I can continue to go on and on. The tablet has 2560 x 1600 pixels, 16:10 ratio, 274 PPI resolution, ambient light sensor, 5.2 Bluetooth, 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac, ax (Wi-Fi 6), Wi-Fi Direct, and a Type-C (reversible), USB 3.2. Overall, this Galaxy Tab S8 tablet is my favorite. It has everything I want and more. Plus, it comes with Microsoft 365 integration, etc. It's the BEST, and the performance is Awesome! The screen is huge, well long because it feels a little odd at time when drawing, however the screen is great for watching shows. The speakers are great, it does fine for music in the room without needing a external speaker. I'm disappointed mainly in the processing power, specifically because they have tablet laptops yet restrict this device to the equivalent of the galaxy s22. Dex is sort of cool, if it actually functioned my like a laptop. Meanwhile Apple is putting one of their best chips in the new ipad. The S pen is great but goes through tips very fast. Lastly, DO NOT buy Samsung keyboard case. It's completely a waste. That's why they handed em out free with the device. So not worth $350, sorry if you paid that. It has the hardest time staying together with the frigerator magnets they installed. It has to stay planted or it just falls in two. Gotta say, Samsung let me down here, my wife's iPad 4th Gen still out performs this. The s22 is great though.

Easy to set up and download apps so much storage. Pictures are really clear as well. I just love this Tablet. The only thing I noticed that slowed my playing process down was I needed to buy a wall charger because all I had was a cord, so just a heads up. Everything's else you could ask for in a Tablet you'll find in this Samsung Galaxy Tab8.

Than just stops reading fingerprint. Start all over . But that's my only complaint. Yes I would recommend .

There's no option for that. A little annoying when I have to stop in the middle of what I'm doing just to keep it from hibernating.

Forcing all App to run in floating Window modes is a great Developer option (default mode is off, need to go into Developer mode to turn it on).

This tablet is a full blow PC when used in Dex mode and is incredible in the normal tablet mode. So your getting a PC and tablet in once essentially. It is very large, maybe too big for some but I love it and watching movies/TV and playing games on it is absolutely stunning due to the large screen and the resolution and power behind this tablet. If you have xbox game pass ultimate or steam link etc. and play cloud/streaming games this tablet excels at it because it's super fast, responsive and the screen makes it a portable TV basically. Definitely needs the keyboard cover/case to reach its max potential.

The large 14 inch screen is crisp and clear, offering 4K resolution and super fast response times. I’ve been able to use this for graphic design and the user experience has been incredible. The tablet is so thin that it almost concerns me, I wasn’t comfortable using it until I went out and purchased a case, but it is super light. The pen included charges via magnets on the back of the device, and offers a mouse click capability. As for FPS, the tablet performed better that 72% of tablets and phones tested, but maxed out under high stress at 20FPS (4K). I’m very happy with this product and will be using it daily for work and pleasure.

It doesn't seem faster in any real world usage, but it's snappy. iPad had better app support but this is the biggest screen size for a premium non-windows tablet. Screen is great, size can be hard to manage unless you're using it on a table I had a trade promo and received a free keyboard case with my order, otherwise I would not have spent this much on a tablet. The S8+ might be what you're looking for is size is a concern. Laptop type use is great, watching shows is great, but usage in bed, the couch or just on your lap or being held is tricky. The case/keyboard is meh. It's nice and all but offers best little protection and I use it 99% of the time without the keyboard (I detach it but always put it back on after use because it's the only way to kind of protect the screen). Other options are limited for this new size, but there are a ton of options for S8 and S8+ do to the same size as the S7/S7+.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Android based productivity on fire! I have never owned an Android tablet; let alone a Samsung galaxy series tablet. I have used Ipads, and Microsoft Surfaces in the past. I have used Samsung phones for years and with the launch of the S22 series it was time to update my phone. With the update, came an unbelievably amazing deal to purchase it with the new S8 Ultra tablet. I figured, I could probably use a new tablet so why not. Once it arrived, my first thoughts were, "Wow that's a pretty huge tablet." I knew the specs and knew it would be big but seeing it in person was just wow. Then came the next wow, the weight of it. This tablet feels so light in the hand. Turning it on felt as familiar as turning on my S22 Ultra. Setting up was easy and once I had everything updated, the wow factor really kicked in. I thought I would just use this at home here and there but this is a beast for productivity. Combined with the keyboard case, I use the S8 Ultra exclusively at work as my planner, and complementary workstation. Combined with the case, the weight of this is definetly increased to feel like I'm carrying a thin laptop but having the keyboard case is a necessity for this tablet. I loved that it came free with the tablet at launch because I will be honest, I don't think I would pay $350 for this keyboard. I would recommend the S8 series tablet to anyone looking for a tablet. There are more comfortable sizes if you plan to use it solely as a tablet, but if you want the true workstation feel, the big boy 14.5 screen is a must. You will not want to use the Ultra primarily as a tablet over time because the size of the screen feels like a lot after a lot of use. I use it like a tablet at times but it's primary use is like that of a laptop. I'm writing this review with my S8 Ultra. I love this device to no end. I would recommend this a thousand times over.

The Dex feature also makes it essentially a windows computer which is very nice if you are wanting it for school work or daily office work. I was previously using an iPad 12.9 pro, Mini LED; however, the multi-tasking limitations had me searching for an alternative. Enter the 14.6" Ultra. This thing is amazing. The screen real estate and multi-tasking features are unbeatible. The fact that I can open three windows as well as pop up windows and handle any task needed is amazing. In addition, the DEX feature, which turns your tablet into a desktop is extremely helpful in accomplishing task outside of the normal tablet use. All that wih being able to unplug, kick back on the couch and watch some shows or play some games. This is now the device I use for everything. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Performance Samsung has done it again with the TabS8 ! First of all, the 11 in LCD screen is the perfect size for any task or activity that you can think of ! It definitely has the best picture quality and sound quality that I have yet to see on any tablet !! The display is so colorful and so detailed that it almost looks as if whatever you have on the screen at the time is real! The camera on this is beyond amazing as well ! Definitely delivers some of the best pictures I've ever taken ! I love that it has so many feature options! It also has a magnetized strip on the back where you can attach the S pen stylus to charge it ! (This stylus is included) this makes it so easy to access and it's there if you need hurry and jot something down you don't have to run and look for a pen , it's literally right on the back of your tablet ! The stylus works extremely well as well, its perfect for note taking or drawing ! It's very responsive and smooth , doesn't lag ! It also has options where you can control the sound that it makes as well as the vibration, this is very effective and handy as well! Also it has USB-C port for changing , which it charges extremely fast and has a very long battery life ! This is a huge relief because alot of tablets die after an hour or two! You can also connect a variety of accessories to it as well! I personally haven't done any of that yet , but I am fixing to get the keyboard, I have no doubt in my mind that it will be nothing less of excellent! Another feature it has is the fingerprint reader , this comes in handy for all sorts of different things ! It's probably one of my favorite things about this tablet ! Overall this tablet is by far amazing and definitely the best I've ever gotten my hands on ! It's super slim and easy to hold onto as well! I havent had any issues whatsoever with performance. No stutter, no overheating, no issues at all. My favorite feature of the tab s8 is using DeX mode. I am constantly using this feature , I have several things going at once and it's super nice to be able to go back and forth between those ! Also the improved table mode is amazing to have split screen mode for apps along with the ability to open a third small app like youtube or spotify is amazing for productivity. I could sit here all day and tell you detail after detail about how amazing this tablet is and what all features it has, but honestly you won't know how amazing it is until you try it yourself ! It literally has everything a laptop does and more all on an 11in tablet ! Definitely worth every penny and more ! If your looking for that perfect tablet that delivers nothing but high performance, as well as maintaining a long battery life and multiple accessory options , This is your answer! You will not be disappointed, in fact you will be completely in shock at how much this TabS8 has to offer ! Exceeded my expectations by far!

Love the sound quality of the speakers, light years better than Tab S7 best sounding tablet I have heard. Battery life is good I get several days on single charge. Performance is great and big improvement on S pen. Really love everything except S pen color only comes in Black not the matching color of the tablet. After all spending nearly $1000 on tablet it should have matching color S pen. There is a software glitch with the on screen keyboard, it shows up in a little box and you have to click on it for keyboard to show up and then the key board doesn't show up and bottom and you have to move it and its also not full size. No charger either.

I use my tablet with a keyboard often for emails and other light task work that i want to do when at a cafe, bar, outside, etc. Its been super convenient. The screen is absolutely beautiful, the surround sound from a tablet is absolutely amazing, it does a great job considering its size. While traveling recently it was great to watch media in my hotel room. Integrated with the Samsung ecosystem (phone, watch, buds) this has been an absolute pleasure to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first tablet. Wow! I purchased this tablet when I pre-ordered my Galaxy S22 Ultra and was offered credits on a Tab S8 Ultra with a free keyboard. Without generous trade-in values I would have never considered trading in my S21 Ultra, nevertheless purchase any tablet. My phone is marginally better since I haven't yet explored all it's capabilities like the enhanced camera features. But the screen on this S8 Ultra tablet is phenomenal. I just wish all content was 2160p so it's screen can show off it's potential full-time. It's just as capable as my phone but X's 6 cause of it's huge screen. It's far from wieldy to carry around by itself, even with it's keyboard cover since I'd be afraid to drop it, so I will carry it around in it's own satchel or backpack.

Just the screen, camera quality and color is mind blowing. I always wanted some type of tablet so that I could do high quality photos of my babies to cherish forever. With this tablet I can do that! Galaxy Tab S8+ is great great home use or on on go as well. I would recommend buying a protective case since it's made very thin. It's so fast and the large, 12.4" display is so impressive. Watching a movie has never been easier or more convenient! You get the tablet, S pen (which is so cool), data link cable and quick start guide. If you decide to give this a try you won't be disappointed. I have absolutely no issues at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the Tab S8 Ultra I've had this Tab 8 Ultra since it's release last month. The screen is amazing and produces vivid colors. The updated Android software works very well, though there are apps that need more developing to make the experience nicer, but I blame that on the developers not optimizing apps for the Android tablets. The initial setup went easy; remember to backup your old tablet, as this helps tremendously with the new set up. Dev X makes the Android experience much like using a Windows computer. The Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard is a great accessories and I don't think I would own the tablet without it. Be forewarned, it's pretty expensive fora keyboard cover. I enjoy that this tablet does not have a huge learning curve and most people should be productive as soon as it is set up.

Not recommended for someone who likes to hold it (in public transportation and etc.) with one hand as it is quite large and obviously heavier than smaller tablets. Make sure to purchase a bluetooth keyboard to pair it up if you don't already have one.

I am really happy with the larger screen size this tablet offers over my Tab S7+. I needed the addition screen real estate for notes, and watching videos on a larger AMOLED screen is great. There's a magnetic strip in the back that holds the S pen in place that I find very handy. Also, the S pen doesn't require replaceable batteries and charges when it's on the magnetic strip of the tablet. And don't worry about overcharging the pen by keeping it stationed on the magnetic strip, it can't overcharge. The pen is super responsive when either hovering or actually touching the screen. As for function, I was happy to discover I could sync my Samsung Galaxy phone with the tablet, and it couldn't be simpler. I even receive texts and calls on the tablet. The sound quality is amazing. It makes streaming audio and video a pleasure. The battery life surpassed my expectations as well, and when it's time to charge, it charges up fast. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this tablet, and I realize the extreme difference between entry-level tablets and flagship tablets like this one. Once you experience a tablet like this, you won't look back.

With the keyboard case and DEX this has replaced my laptop. I used my laptop for web browsing, email, and MS Office and the Tab S8 Ultra does all this and more. The screen is excellent for streaming movies and shows. The speakers sound great and are very loud. The Dolby Atmos setting adds incredible depth to the sound. This is by far the best Android tablet on the market.

The s-pen is very responsive and accurate when using. I've used this tablet for everything from watching movies, checking emails and browsing the web, also with a drawing app and it works amazingly well with no buffering or lagging. The storage space is definitely one of my favorite parts of this. Ive already downloaded over 100 apps and still have plenty of space left over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I have had this tablet for a couple of months. The only shortcomings I see so far is the lack of ports. There is only one USB-C port. On all of the demos and videos they show connecting to various screens, hard drives, etc. I would be fine connecting a USB hub however there are none sold by Samsung, none recommended by Samsung and none listed as compatible. I have tried 4 different hubs and none would pass through power while performing another function, such as passing HDMI or reading a drive. Samsung support sent me to 5 different groups to try to solve this and all I have now is an open ticket that is weeks old. That's the bad. The tablet retains it's charge well past all day with heavy use. I have committed to try to use it as a laptop replacement. I streamed 3 full length movies straight through without losing power as well (I passed out before the tablet did). There are the same tablet landscape issues with apps that plague all tablets. However I think the Shop Samsung app should work in landscape mode, not sure why that was not tested. Without going into description, Screen - excellent Pen sensitivity - excellent DEX mode - great but remember this is not Windows Extending to a 2nd screen - fail, but that could be my USB hub, see above Keyboard book cover - works well, but it is NOT worth $350. I have other Bluetooth keyboards that are better Extending phone SMS and call capabilities - Excellent Overall, I would recommend but get a generic cover and keyboard to save some money.

I primarily use my tablet for procreate, a design app, and it works flawlessly. Love the pen as it's super smooth. The screen is crystal clear quality and the size is perfect. The charge also lasts a long time so I'm able to take my tablet on the beach and design for a long time. I also love the camera, the quality is crazy good. Can't say how much I love everything about this tablet!

This tablet is very slim, and lightweight. The battery lasts for many hours of continuous use, and charged quickly. There are cameras on the front and back. Both of these cameras are excellent and take wide screen pictures. It does come with the S-pen. The pen magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet, to charge and store. The multi screen feature is a lifesaver, I can video call while making a grocery list and taking notes. This tablet has so many great features that I am continually learning about. I am a beyond satisfied customer!

I unfortunately can't speak too much on the Samsung keyboard case that goes with it, but I do have a Bluetooth wireless keyboard and got a case with a kickstand for this mammoth sized tablet. It was incredibly impressive how easy it is to navigate and go about life as if this were a laptop in dex mode. The s pen is a fun feature especially for those who like art . Now for the other features - this tablet is INSANELY large . I feel it's great for those with eyesight issues or people that just love big. It's really nice for movies and games as is the speaker! I was really impressed with how loud it got. Refresh rate is superb. I honestly really love this tablet. Whether it's being used for fun , or work and school- it definitely does the job plus some. I personally am using it mainly for my job (assistant office management at a piercing studio) but the second will definitely be watching movies when my little ones are hogging the TV. Battery life thankfully allows for it to be multi use for both , in one day. I've had at least 5 different types of tablets, one was even a Samsung as well but this specific one blows every last one of them out of the water. If you're thinking about this or the other "main" brand , I'd suggest this. The ease of use, the capability of using it as a computer or a tablet, or using it as a second screen for your computer..and everything in between is just too good to pass up. 10/10

This probably is the best screen I've ever had. And I am not one of those people who buy gadgets once in a while. I buy gadgets ALL the time. I own MacBook M1 Pro 16, Macbook pro 15, Macbook 12, G9 curved monitor, LG 4k monitor, Alienware curved monitor, Z flip 3, Note series. It beats them all flat. It's beautiful to look at. I found myself staring at it examining how they made this look so good. Crisp, right amount of black, good lighting (420 nits) Weight, It is lightweight. It's thin. But it feels solid. It doesn't feel flimsy. I use the keyboard case at home and the book cover case while I travel. It looks neat in the book case. Multi-tasking. It's the king of multi-tasking. I use three way split screen a lot. I used to use s7+ before s8 ultra. The three way split was pleasant on s7+ but it feels right on s8 ultra. A book on the left panel, youtube on the top right and note app on the bottom right is my config. Works like a charm. The mighty s-pen: So this pen is crazy. I hated the apple pencil because it felt like gliding on the glass. Sure, you can get used to it. But why do I have to? S-pen does it right. I have been using s-pen since the birth of it on note phone. It came a long way and it's in the right place. It feels so good to just write with. I just keep writing something even though I have nothing to write about.. DeX: So with this s8 ultra, I heard a lot of good things about Dex. Some people seems to just use the tablet on dex all the time. I have never used Dex on my S7+. But I tried Dex on the first day and yeah I can see it replacing a lot of windows desktop work. Opening all the apps on the windows like in a pc was refreshing and did make me use it more. BTW, at this point, I carry s8 ultra everywhere I go even inside the house. It works particularly well with the keyboard. It was time for me to get a new windows pc so I recently bought Galaxy Book pro 360 to go with s8 ultra. BTW, it works well with a portable monitor as well. These are all my raving about s8 ultra. I just LOVE it. I am so happy that I finally have it on my hand. Thank you Samsung for making such a wonderful piece of machine. Now, here are a few things for your consideration for the future versions: 1. Extended display: There's the second display feature that turns the s8 ultra to a second monitor. It'd be great if s8 ultra CAN extend to a second monitor on Dex mode so I can use my portable or normal monitor to extend the screen. 2. Mac Support? I know it's slightly off target but I have my macbook as my primary laptop because of work and for the stability of the OS but using Android tablet with a macbook is very challenging. It'll be amazing if it can seamlessly work with macbook.

After using my older Galaxy tablet for a couple of years to manage and handle my small business, I knew it was time to upgrade after hearing great things about the new Tab S8 from friends and family also in the same business. As soon as I set this thing up and downloaded a bunch of my business and productivity applications, I knew that because of this tablets processor speed and storage space, I would be saving a lot of time with simple tasks such as creating an Excel sheet. Not only does it look sleek and attractive, it is super easy to use and there are endless tasks that can be completed. I noticed the Wi-Fi strength is amazing compared to my older model, I am able to work from my basement and garage with full bars. I would 100% recommend to anyone in the small business market and even a consumer looking to just surf the web, totally worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunningly Beautiful Out of all of the generations of the tablets i've owned, this is by far the best one. The S8 Ultra improved on all of the things the tab s7+ was lacking. Other reviews say that they think the screen is impractical for being so large, but I travel alot and the size has never been an issue. I actually find the size to be more useful especially when gaming, editing photos, searching the web or streaming a movie. The selfie cam, is in the perfect spot. Makes video calls and confrences less awkward due to the fact its centered when in landscape mode. The accessories were a huge upgrade this year, mainly being the keyboard case. Finally they did a backlit keyboard!! Also the keys are the perfect size on the Samsung Tab s8 Ultra keyboard, feels like the real deal. The screen is very bright and the surround sound speakers are very very loud with an amazing quality. The tablet is also extreamly thin for how large it is and the weight is pretty on point. The tablet travels well to, fits perfectly in my backpack or even in my laptop storage compartment in my glove box of my car. The battery last way longer than my Tab s7+ does. I actually use this tablet more than i do my Samsung laptop. This tablet is ultra fast, very easy to multi-task with and overall worth the investment. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a new tablet, and in my personal opinion this tablet and its keyboard case out trumps my other tablets like my Ipad pro.

So I had to go to best buy and purchase another, and yes it cut me deep. But overall it is a decent experience and I love the display, there are still some features that are not working fully but the display makes up for its shortcomings. The keyboard is not the best but I do like the fact that I can change the settings.

The S-pen and screen are highly responsive and work smoothly together. The tablet has tons of great features and can be used to watch videos, scroll the internet, draw pictures, take photos, etc. I get tons of use from it. It's handy and efficient. I am very happy with it. The processor is fast! I haven't had any lag. Initial set-up was a breeze. Using it afterwards is just as easy. It's made to be user friendly and is fun to use. I had been using the a different Samsung tablet as my daily driver and even preferred it to my actual laptop. As good as that device is, there was something that was still missing. Though it is a 12.4 inch tablet, i always felt that it needed to be bigger in order for me to get my work done more efficiently hence why the Tab S8 Ultra is the perfect device for me. Most reviews continuously say that its too big but think about this for a minute. We have laptops that fold backwards to become tablets. Those laptop range in size from 13 inches to about 15 inches. Even if you take a 13 inch convertible laptop (being that its the smallest size, you’re still going to end up with something thicker and heavier. Here is where the Tab S8 Ultra shines. Though its heavier than your average tablet, its a slimmer device that gives you a more than fairly powerful processor, allows you to do at least 95% of the things youd do with a laptop or PC, and has a battery that will still outlast most laptops. I use my device for heavy video editing, entertainment and about 99% of the work i do. This tablet more than holds up through all of it. All in all, i personally believe that you cant go wrong with this device. sure its big but consider the alternatives and if you think about it hard enough you’ll find that the Tab S8 Ultra brings everything you like to do and need to do into a manageable package.

This tablet is so sleek and the pen included really makes a huge difference. I didn't believe it would, but I use my pen everytime I use it. Even if it's just to scroll! The sound on here is also pretty nice! It gets super loud and does not have that static like some do if they are up to loud. The battery life is nice! Normal really. It keeps a good charge. I would recommend a case and screen protector just for the extra protection. I have a Samsung galaxy phone and this tablet, even with size has handled being dropped a few times with no cracks or visible damage! It's very sturdy and reliable! I would recommend to anyone looking for something lighter and a little different!

It works with Wi-Fi and has a 12.4" display that is very clear. I like that it isn't too heavy either and can be used on your lap for hours without feeling tired. It has a 128GB storage, crisp camera quality and a long lasting battery. It also charges quickly. I love the huge storage because it helps keep all my Kindle and Netgalley books all in one place. The package includes the tablet, an S pen, a data link cable and a quick start guide. The pink background is beautiful, the design is sleek and the value is excellent. The performance is fast. Setup: If you're already a Samsung Galaxy user like me then the setup should be no problem at all. Even without necessarily being a Galaxy user, there aren't too many steps required to quick start. It is very easy and straightforward to use this tab. Simply turn it on, then follow the steps to start using the tab. It also has tools like facial recognition but I personally chose not to use those. It will require you a type-C adapter. The pen is effective and easy to use. The pen can be charged by sticking it on the back of the tablet. I like that the tab indicates the battery left in the pen too. This tab only has a few buttons which makes it simple and easy to use. Great Tab that everyone who uses technology products should have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Android Tablet on the Market My last tablet was a Galaxy Tab S7+, which I traded in for this one a couple weeks ago. Firstly, the display is excellent, however the larger size is hard to get used to, and it takes a bigger toll on the battery. I usually got around 7 hours of constant heavy use, mostly video streaming, which is still very good. I'm not positive about this, but I think that the display's refresh rate is now fixed, and not adaptive. This means that no matter what is being displayed on the screen, it will always be at 120 or 60hz(whichever you've set it to in the settings) even if there is absolutely nothing moving on the screen. I would imagine that this consumes a significant amount of battery, however I think that it could be fixed through software at least. I would also recommend sticking with a 25 watt charger, since it's still very fast, and it will degrade your battery less that the 45 watt charger. As far as cases go, unfortunately the only real decent one is the $80 Protective Standing Cover made by Samsung. It's really overpriced however it is extremely durable, has a quality kick stand, and security stores the s pen in it's charging slot. Unfortunately, it does nearly double the weight of an already heavy tablet. Lastly, the only tempered glass screen protectors I've found are significantly smaller that the front glass panel, leaving a portion of the edges vulnerable to scrates and impacts. Finally, I got my unit at a significant discount because of a large credit from my tade in. I only payed $560 for it, so if I had payed the full $1200, my opinions may have been different. I do think $1200 is overpriced, but seeing as this tablet is vastly superior to any other Android tablet, and arguably on par with or even better than the ipad, you can justify paying the full price.

This tablet is head and shoulders above any others I have encountered. The display is crisp and clear as well as responsive and accurate. The processing power can handle anything I throw at it, with no signs of overheating or slowdowns. Samsung listened to their customers, time after time, perfecting this line over time and have reached a level other competitors can only dream of. This is a purchase I have felt good about since day one and I don't see that view changing anytime in the future. Don't hesitate to make the same decision I did and choose this tablet as your own!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I've had this for a couple months now and it's still incredible to me. The display is beautiful and the amount of canvas I have to work on is perfect. The few things I don't like: 1-the palm rejection when using the S-Pen leaves something to be desired. The same or similar apps on my iPad pro with apple pencil are streets ahead. 2-the bezels are almost too small. When trying to wrangle this hog with one or two hands, it's too easy to connect with an appendage you didn't want. A case with a stand is helpful. The type-cover case is not great though.

It's very lightweight and I love that I can use it for study, work, and entertainment. The screen resolution is just beautiful so even with multiple apps open everything is easy to read and beautiful. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oversized excellence I purchased my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra during the Discover Samsung Event when Samsung offered me $650 enhanced trade in for my Tab S7. I have been enjoying the tablet every since and only have a few complaints. Pros: The size is excellent for running two windows side by side. The performance is top notch. The build quality/fit and finish is superb. The front cameras are excellent and shoot better selfies than my S22U. The S Pen experience is by far the closest to actual pen and paper. 120hz is wonderful. Cons: The optical fingerprint scanner. The ultrasonic one on the S22 Ultra is far better and on a $1200 tablet should come included. The rear cameras. I know there is a limitation due to the very thin nature of the tablet but Z Flip grade cameras should be possible. Lack of adaptive 120hz.

He uses it for social media, i use it as a second screen with my samsung book2 pro laptop. I love starting a project on 1 device then quickly & instantly switch to another samsung product to finish with ease. Tablet is great size, great pictures, and no issues thus far. I will have this one for awhile. I receive compliments and questions everytime im in public with it. So far i have nothing negative to say about this tablet. There have several particular points I like most: 1) Big OLED screen (14.6 inch) with 120HZ fresh rate. Yes. This is one of biggest buy points to me. To give you an idea how large this screen is, just think about a big color book. Yes, it is as large as these books. Definitely must larger than IPAD prod 12.9. Due to OLED , the screen is super vivid and contrasting. Of course, this is same as the 12.4in S7+ I used but I found that it is definitely worthy to upgrade if you like oversized screen! The big screen enhances the watch experience and reading experience much fun and easier for eyes. I noticed this especially for reading magazines like National geographic and Astronomy. It is effective the similar size as paper version magazine. So it gives you the best reading experience. One caveat is that it might get too large for you if you just handheld it. Just bought a screen protector with support will be life saver! 2) Samsung user support. Another big buy pointing is about Samsung user support. You can chat with them any time for any question you concerned. I found very comfortable to communicate with them. I bought a screen protector and found that it does not work. I returned the peeled screen protector without any hassle. 3) Samsung APPS. There have two particular apps: PENUP and SAMSUNG Notes. My daughter likes penup very much while I found notes are super useful to read pdf books and edit for note taking.

I've never been one to use a tablet for work related things, but the performance of this model and the amount of ram loaded in it make everything smooth as butter. If your looking to watch videos from any platform this thing ensures you will enjoy watching. Plenty of accessories to go along with it as well and anything Bluetooth works with it. The price is hefty for this and the higher end model, you get what you pay for and the trade in option and sales they have help get this into the hands of folks wanting The best!

This tablet is only missing one thing, and that is being able to use it regardless of whether you're on the same wifi or not. Since I only got Wi-Fi, when out in public, I wish it could do all the functionality of being on the same wifi with a Hotspot connection

There are pluses and minuses when you compare android over iPad tablets but hands down this is by far the most innovative and useful tablet for a long time! Battery life is amazing. I didn’t purchase the keyboard and considering either buying Samsungs or buying another Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. One thing that will blow you away is the speakers! I have hearing issues and this is by far the best tablet speakers I’ve experienced. The only thing that can take getting used to is typing on the ultra but with some practice and getting the right keyboard and it will not be a issue for long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Tablet I picked mine up on Black Friday deasl. Traded my TAB 6Lite. The S8 is very thin, quad speakers, super fast and you can add up to 1tb micro SD. I liked the s8+and ultra specks, but didn't need all that power. The S8 is a great product. I even play my PS4 on the S8. It's able to handle the frame rates and provide a fantastic color pallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tablet so far for the Android Ecosystem I finally gave up my Tab s7+ for a whooping 500 bucks to put towards the Tab s8 Ultra, I'm so happy I did. The screen real estate is far superior, the brightness is stupendous, and the 8 Gen1 chip is much snappier. Now that Samsung and Qualcomm are working close together and also with Google, this tablet is updated more regularly, and feels up to date in every way. The S-pen is lovely, although I just bought the S-pen Pro, it's so great to have it included and makes the whole experience feel like no other. I recommend using Penup a great app that showcases some of the power of an amazing writing instrument. The screen drips with beauty, and the 4 speaker setup surrounds you in your own personal theater like atmosphere. If you have an older tablet, consider the trade in, it's well worth the experience.

The tablet is light yet large enough for laptop usage. I just purchased Luma Fusion for Android and editing video on the S8 Ultra is fantastic. Going to explore how to get a LINUX subsystem running and then this, using DEX, will be my full development laptopt replacement.

I love drawing with it, either using a variety Android drawing apps, or an app called super display which let's me plug the tablet into my pc and I get to take advantage of the full resolution, full 120hz, full pen support, touch support and all. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tablet, Fast, Spen, bezels too small Purchased this as a larger upgrade to the Tab S7+ that I previously owned. Although I love the speed and the screen size, the bezel is an issue. It looks great, and is almost non-existent, but that is actually a problem with a tablet. On a phone where you wrap your hand around the back, no bezel is great. On a monitor where you look but don't touch, no bezel is great. But on a tablet that you have to hold from the side, no bezel means a LOT of accidental screen touches / activations. This is also annoying if you have this large tablet resting on your chest while laying on the couch for example, your shirt will activate the screen. As a workaround I installed an app called EdgeBlock that deactivates the pixels around the bezel for about 1cm, allowing you to actually hold the tablet without accidentally pressing things. Everything else about the tablet is excellent, but this one usability issue muddies the experience on an otherwise excellent device.

I love the fact that can be a laptop as well when you get the book cover keyboard as I did, it's easier to type your essay or just to chat. It has everything I want. also a big plus is the fact I can take it wherever and whenever I want to with me because it's very versatile and surpringsingly for the size it's not heavy to carry on. and important thing to mention too is the pen, Im a very artsy person so I be doing doodles all the time, its very easy to use and super smooth, my notes now be looking super cute hahaha So, in conclusion : I'm literally obsessed with this tab, thanks Samsung for keeping quality from the beginning till' this day. The colors are vibrant and the Dolby sounds makes the experience even better! I also like to web surf, check email and social media. The 120 Hz, Snapdragon chip make the scrolling fast and lag free. When I connect on zoom, Google meet and WhatsApp video calls the cameras and image looks amazing. When I use Dex mode, it's another amazing and fast experience. Love the tablet. I recommend it to anyone looking to buy one.

The screen protector case is amazing for reading ebooks and makes taking notes free natural compares to writing on glass. Then if I need I can take it off and use the keyboard case. I love the versatility of having both samsung cases. I've also been able to use the larger screen to play xbox game pass. Love this device.

The tab S8 Ultra has so many great features for instance it has an S Pen, a 14-inch screen, & a keyboard case that turns it into a full-on laptop. I've dropped mine a few times and so far this is very durable to say it's such a big and thin tablet it does not Bend easily nor does it Dent scratch or crack easily. It also has some of the most powerful bass-filled speakers I have ever had on a laptop or tablet or a phone. The big screen also is a panel of 120 frame per second and a really Dynamic OLED it is so full of colors and sharp resolution. Almost anything you watch back on this tablet it's going to look beautiful even clips from your Samsung phone. Speaking of which if you're in the Samsung ecosystem you could quick share a photo from your phone directly to the tablet and start editing! The tablet said Ultra is a perfect companion for almost anything you can use it on the go as a replacement laptop or you could use it as just an accessory for your desk or stand it works in nearly every scenario, case, form, shape, or job. Whether you're a heavy gamer or hard worker or just someone that likes to scroll on social media and watch videos this tablet can do and will do almost anything you want it to! And to say that it's a tablet it has some of the best video and photo I've ever seen come out of a tablet! This is all around the best tablet/laptop I think you can buy!

This product, with the appropriate case, has endured traveling from building to building, from backpack to desk, from just about any where I use it going on more than 6 months now. There are some minor issues when I'm note taking on the touch-screen but I simply move around on-screen to avoid that space and continue on. If you're an Android and Microsoft product user, this tablet will serve all your needs.

I enjoy using only samsung products due to the ability of getting everything needed first. We samsung users who are dedicated enjoy flawless technology and not secondary. Wether you need it for work creating a great presentation, using it for streaming videos and music, downloading files, school work or just everyday web surfing just cant beat having a trusty samsung tablet or device. I will never use anything other than samsung. I have TV, appliances, tablets, phones, gear and so on. I am 100% pro samsung. I have litterally made 10 friends switch from apple phones and tablets to samsung. They are very happy with the switch. But hey its samsung who wouldnt be happy.

I love the fact that it's a long tablet since I put all my tools on one side and work on the other. This tablet shines at split view and its all seamless. Everything just works so well. I get lots of typing done with the Samsung keyboard, sometimes the keyboard connection magnets get loose but I do appreciate the extra protection the case has for the pen.

So I opted to move to a zfold and an ultra! This gives me a huge mobile footprint for efficiency and versatility. I work as a quality and Education Coordinator for an emergency medical service network in New England. This set up empowers me to move from clinical site to clinical site moving my office with me! Dex and second screen at the actual office and the proprietary folio spen and paired zfold screen while out and about! And switching was super easy with smart switch!

I use it for Heavy Cloud gaming, Computing- Computer work - office work, drawing, Watching movies, all kinds of social media, My personal business for my company and clothing line man I wish I can fold it up like my Z-Fold 3 and walk with it in my small bag but it's still portable no worrying and the keyboard cover just darn near makes it a full blown computer if could of ran windows apps directly from the tablet but with it technology it can sync to any windows computer as a counterpart or second screen this thing is a Beast. The screen is bright and vivid and the best clarity will can get on the market right now not even mac's look this good and the battery life is just amazing I can go days on one full charge doing a mix of a little bit of everything I use it for. I wish my phone was built this good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Really Great Tablet With One Drawback I use my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ Ultra for just about everything I used my computer for before. It has a gorgeous screen, good graphics, storage is upgradeable via SD card. I like the pen and the lag is barely perceptible. I'm happy with my purchase. With one caveat. Manyof the major graphic art apps are iOs only. I'm hoping that some of these will develop Android apps in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large and in charge I used my Tab S8 Ultra during my MBA; having upgraded from the Tab S7 plus the biggest upgrade was the Size from 12 inches to 14 inches. While there there was a slew of improvements going from Snapdragon 888 to 8 gen 1 most of them aren't noticeable compared to a phone that is used consistently everyday. That being said I pretty much used my tablet for taking handwritten lecture notes, researching, media consumption, and second screen for at least 12-15hr a week. With the biggest improvements my by far being 45 watt charging as battery life was better than the tabs S7 plus given the brighter screen and larger display. Although stand by time endurance from the snapdragon 8 gen 1 is much improved. Other tasks such as multiple windows, pip, the new tablet UI layout, and AI based translations such handwritten text augment ( moving, transformation, conversion) are much faster and smoother. As well the thinner device isn't as unwieldy as you might think even with my slightly smaller male hands although one handed use isn't particularly a easy experience there are certain modes to make it easier. By far the best experience for this table is Dex and second screen. Dex pretty much turns this into a chromebook which is fine for basics word processing and navigation. However, using a 14 inch thin beautiful display as a second screen with a windows laptop even though Hotspot is the best experience I have had plus the other tablet features.

I first discovered the Samsung Brand at Circuit City and have been a loyal customer since. I've owned multiple TV's, Phones and Tablets & Appliances. Out of Everyone of those Devices or Appliance My Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is my Favorite, through all the years. It combines Awesome Screen Size and Functionality withe the Optional Keyboard Case, ( which was included with my purchase Direct from Samsung) , Excellent Processing, Display and Value ( Samsung offered an Amazing Deal with 2 Free Accessories and $100 Google Play Credit). I had Upgraded from A Galaxy Tab S4 which was good but Nothing like My Tab S8 Ultra.

It's always been laptops and phone for anything I needed to use apps, games, etc. With that in mind, this tablet has been my overall preference on majority of my needs. It runs smoothly, battery lasts for two days at the least on being used majority of the day, graphics on streaming and games have been amazing, and it's just an overall great purchase.

I have owned many tablets throughout the years and this one is by far the best one yet. The graphics, audio speed, and quality (just to name a few) surpass any other tablets out there. It is worth every cent i payed, I honestly can't think of anything negative about it. I learn new things about it every time there's updates and it just excites me to see what's new. I would definitely recommend this powerful tablet to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does everything I got the S8 Ultra so I could streamline the number of devices I use and keep my work portable. I primarily use it for digital art, music production, streaming, and as a hub to manage complex health needs. So far this tablet has been near to perfect. The Pros: -no more hauling around a bulky, laggy art tablet + laptop combo -the wacom pen feels great, very nearly a pencil to paper experience -it's fast - no lag that I can tell, even on heavy art apps running lots of layers -my home production studio has become redundant, thanks to this tablet -streaming is fast and gorgeous, no speakers needed, the ones on board sound great The Cons: -it's H-E-A-V-Y -did I mention it's HEAVY? -no seriously, pick one up in store before you blind order, it's a beast and I would have sized down to the s8+ if I'd known. -it doesn't quite have the convenience of other tablets I've had. It's more like a (fairly heavy) laptop minus the keyboard and closed screen, which makes me nervous and a little precious with it and I don't bring it everywhere like I'd hoped I would Overall I'm really happy with it and looking forward to playing with more of the features I haven't gotten around to yet. There's lots to explore with this tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The tablet gives real comfort using it. I am a big fan of sports especially Soccer, I played it professionally so I really love to watch it. On the Galaxy tab s8 the quality of picture and speed at which I get to watch my favorite sport is the best. I also use it for schooling and work as well. Saving my personal documents and other notes as well.
