Really great tablet for the money
I bought this Tab S8+ to replace my Tab S6 the differance is Night and Day, this is a much smoother Tablet with alot larger screen. The UI is much smoother and Android 12L makes a huge differance it's a much better exsperiance now That the OS is designed for tablets.
Samsung has the best tablets on Android Samsung pays attention to detail, over time it gets better and better.
Very happy with my purchase, I bought 2 of them 1 for me and my Wife.
They play all the games from the play store and galaxy store with no problems.
Battery life is great for a tablet, Samsung is updating this a let all the time, just got Android 13L today 12/05/22,so far so good no bugs of any kind yet.
Now does this compete with the ipad not quite and no Apple fan either so to be fair it's good but won't beat it yet down the road maybe only time will tell.
If your looking for a great Android Tablet this is the one to get, do you need the s8+ that's all upto you, do you need the Ulta No this one or the plain S8 will be the right fit for most people in general, it's a great exsperiance for the money.

Overall great tablet and great performance. AMOLED screen/image quality is amazing and why I bought this over the regular S8. However, larger 12.4 inch sized screen is great for watching videos/movies, it can be cumbersome when holding, typing, or for travel. Though it is more portable than a laptop, but 2 inches larger than the S6 lite, which I upgraded from.

Ever since i got it i can't put it down. I originally bought this for video editing. I love how fast it is, so many features. I love the 3 app split screen (talk about multitasking at its best). I love how it came with a built in adult coloring book for relaxing. I can even play FORNITE perfectly- colors amazing & no lag. Battery life is normal. Mine doesn't drain fast or nothing because i don't have my brightness up & i put it on "dark mode" aswell to preserve battery & still looks great. Volume is great & loud. Don't listen to other ppl complaining about poor battery because nobody knows what setting or what they were doing? I use mine all day & it's decent. I don't leave multiple apps open nor running in the background. I love how you can use it like a laptop too with Samsung "dex". I'm still learning & discovering knew features everyday.

I upgraded from the Galaxy Tab S7. So far I'm really enjoying the Galaxy Tab S8+. Very impressed with the responsiveness of the S pen. The screen is phenomenal. I purchased the pink gold. I was disappointed that the S Pen did not come in the same color as the tablet as they did with the S7 series. The black S Pen is really easy to mix in with other pins. It doesn't stand out. I've misplaced it once already. Would really have enjoyed it better if it had come in the same color as the tablet. It would have been easier to see and find, if not the same color at least two-toned. Maybe some portion of the pen could have been in the same color as the tablet to help it stand out.

Minor upgrade, still a great tablet!
I had a Tab S7+. There was an issue with the power button, so I exchanged it for this one. So far so good. If the same or similar issue developed I'll be annoyed.
Great screen. Very responsive. It runs One UI 4.1 BUT there are no smart widgets. IMO, a tablet is an ideal use for smart widgets

Great Form Factor, Some UX Issues
I bought this primarily for reading documents and writing notes and the screen aspect ratio and size is great for that. I do find myself doing unintuitive things like trying to tap Delete on the Samsung Touch Keyboard because it's where the Backspace key should be. Also, finding and changing settings is kinda cumbersome so I've yet to get it fully setup the way I would like.

I was an owner of a tab S7 Plus I bought the Galaxy tab S8 Plus cuz I already had the keyboard and it would fit but I wish I got the larger model because I watch a lot of content if you have the tab S7 series don't upgrade unless you get the ultra model same thing with the watch

Poor battery life
I upgraded from the S7+ to the S8+ and there is noticeably shorter battery life for my S8+. Performance and functionality are very good but spend a lot of time hooked to the charger.

Bought this and an S7 FE at the same time. They both have the same the same size screen, And I don't see a ton of difference in the screen quality (they're both fantastic). But I can't say the processor is significantly faster than the S8+.
Things load much faster and and there's almost no lag when things get busy. I'm using this for playing apps such as star trek fleet command roblox and Minecraft. For all 3 it's noticeably faster to load and when making transitions. I would say it's a tugh call when you can get 2 of the S7 FEs for the price of one S8+ when the S7FE can do everything, just a little slower.

This device is good for note taking and be creative with it such us adding pictures to your notes whichI really like about, it makes it easier to retain information.
I also like the fact that you can convert the PowerPoint slides into a note file. Turning each slide into a page and doesn't get mixed up with the other slides.
Dex Mode is my favorite. It acts like a computer in which you can open multiple apps and multitask or open a browser and open multiple tabs and easily navigate them like you would in a computer.
The quality of the camera is great as well. Great for zoom calls.
It is also good for creating art with the painting, sketching, and drawing app.
Overall awesome product for daily use. Very handy and the battery lasts all day with heavy use!

I've had this tablet for about 6 months. I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the keyboard case along with it, it makes using it for work a breeze. I've had and used plenty of inexpensive tablets and I feel they work well for a couple months and then die or slow down. I feel like I'll be able to get years out of this one. I've always owned samsungs flagship phones, so I figured it was time for a flagship tablet.

Upgrading from my tab s6, I would say it'd definitely amazing. The screen is beautiful and digital art is way better on this bigger screen. I absolutely love that the case isn't a stupid sticker and can easily be removed for cleaning. The keyboard is amazing and a mouse connected makes this the perfect companion device when you don't need the power of a pc. The only thing i would change personally is the stand. It has a flimsy faux leather edge and is definitely a downgrade from the s6 and it's solid protected edge.

The S8 Plus has an incredible screen that is bright sharp and smooth. The amoled screen offers deep blacks and vibrant colors with great brightness. The battery lasts all day plus extra even after streaming and gaming. It's great for school whether you have the keyboard case offered by Samsung or not, alternatively you could use the stylus provided by Samsung to take notes. Overall, the tablet handles anything you can throw at it and it does it in style.

I have started using my phone to take pictures and I am very pleased with it's performance. I am going to produce a coffee table book titled Stone buildings of my area, some will be ones that are lived in, others are falling down. All are made with flint stone quarried locally. Thus the name for this area...Flint Hills of North East Kansas. My tablet is primarily used for searching and playing games. They are so much fun and I am very pleased with both products. Perfect size, excellent writing
I mainly use it to write notes, to read pdf and basically as a personal note/media center. I do a lot of journal paper readings, and the size and S pen feature of Galaxy S8+ make it easy to download, read, and make notes on the pdf files. It has helped my research tremendously. I can also use it to take a break once in a while and enjoy some YouTube clips to take my mind off work. I just love it!

This product does anything I throw at it. From watching media on its stunning amoled display, or searching the web at the same time with its multitasking features! Which makes my work life a breeze when ordering products for my company trying to view multiple sites at the same time. And then using it for my creative side is so much fun. As a musician, being able to run recording software on this tablet as well as create or edit band photos or content is incredible!

It's an absolutely gorgeous device
I've owned several iPads, as well as older Galaxy and Fire tablets. This tablet is the most impressive electronic I've owned. I opted for the 5G model through AT&T, and I'm happy I did. Combining the speed/power of the tablet with the mobility of a 56 network makes it something I'll find reasons to bring it along with me. After adding the Samsung Keyboard cover I lost most reasons to pull out my laptop. On top of the beautiful display, fast response times, and U.I.5 you add in the S Pen. I can not recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ more.

The device is great! Most of my devices are samsung. Game play on this is great, really smooth! And the display is really great! It makes studying, streaming and gaming very enjoyable!
The only thing I wish was a little better is the samsung smart app. It's sometimes hard to find devices for connectivity.

I am a graphic artist and as a rule in the industry it's usually just understood that to use Adobe products to their full capability you need an Apple device. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ woefully disproves this. This tablet has capability that will blow your mind. The graphics are crisp, everything is perfectly precise. The pen gives the artist unparalleled abilities to create with the tablet. I feel like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ is a game changer in the graphic art industry.

I got the Samsung brand keyboard designed for the device, and it's mostly fine but it has a weak backspace button, so only a strong press registers, but that's not the tablet's fault.

A great upgrade for my wife who loved the Tab S6 for overall ease of use, but needed something just a little larger. Loves the rose color and matching cover.
She loves to shop and browse, and OneUI 5's support of apps at the bottom of the screen makes it fast and easy to access them. BRILLIANT!

Works as expected. Pen needs added functionality
I use my tablet as a backup to my S7 Ultra and for "basic" internet usage. Blue tooth and physical connectivity to my S7 Ultra, is seamless and fast; truly plug and Play. WiFi connectivity is flawless. The dual speakers provide excellent sound reproduction throughout their sound level capabilities, supporting high and low notes from blues to rock to opera without distortion.
Human to machine interface is stuck at voice, (with all the attendant early 21st century clumsiness), and a good start at using a pen as input device.
Voice input editing requires coming out of voice by touching the screen, or hitting a keyboard button, while use of the pen for input into a form, such as this, is not supported at all. Occasionally voice to text arbitrarily capitalizes some words. When AI gets to be real, maybe we will be able to intersperse commands (and punction) with text.
That said, the above faults represent the state of the art of publicly available human-machine interface. Currently noo publicly available machine does better.
In a zoom session, you will wish your selfie to be "closer", while maintaining the realization of others on the call. Unfortunately, you cannot pinch to zoom the "selfie"/forward facing camera, so that to others on the zoom call, you appear closer to the screen. That is a major design specification/fault.
The screen is bright and easily dimmed to easily accommodate background lighting. Color faithfulness are typical of all Samsung devices.

Amazing Tablet
I bought this tablet expecting expecting generic ipad-like device, but it's ended up being so much more. Dex is incredibly useful for short productivity sessions on the go, and the OLED display looks phenomenal on the natural color setting. The snapdragon 8 gen 1 performs well, though battery life isn't incredible but it's by no means bad. Overall it's an easy recommendation from me.

There's no doubt that I love this tablet. I use it for college and the military and it comes in handy. The only issue I would have is that the pen seems to have issues with connectivity. I thought it may just be mine but I have a friend who is having the same issue. It still does what I need it to do and more though.

If you're looking for something to take out with you, I'd go with the standard S8. The S8+ is perfect for around the house. It does a great job supplementing my level of productivity at work. I prop this up next to my work monitors and use it for slack and every other functions.

Ideal travel companion
I recently completed a two week business trip to Europe and India. I hauled along my laptop but never booted it. Between taking notes, answering mails, reviewing documents, working on spreadsheets and presentations, and reading books I used only my s8+ (with book cover keyboard). My cellular plan includes global data so I didn't even have to look for wifi. Next time I won't even bother with the laptop!

A Great Multitasking Tablet
First off I want to say that I did not expect the size of this tablet. I saw the specs but coming from a Galaxy tab s6 it threw me for a loop for how big it was. I'm not complaining because it actually comes in handy due to the excellent multi-tasking functionality. One of the main reasons why I use this tablet is to browse articles, social media or videos. With this tablet I'm able to do two or three of these things at the same time. I can even be on a web conferencing call while taking notes using Samsung notes.
The speed of this tablet is also excellent. It has to be if it wants to handle running two or three apps at the same time. And also allows me to stream Xbox games directly to my tablet seamlessly.
The expandable storage is also a plus. I can download all kinds of videos books or whatever to my tablet without worrying about running it out of space. It is very useful when taking long trips.
I also want to say that Samsung Dex is pretty useful. If I ever want to move up to the big screen I can very easily without worrying about transferring files to a different computer. My only issue with it is that it could be easier to switch between sounds coming from the tablet or the USB-C connection.
Overall this is a great tablet for tablet lovers and those who multitask.

Perfect addition to my Samsung devices
My tablet makes for a great travel companion versus taking my laptop on the go. I can work or use it to connect when away from work on vacation. I've owned Android tablets in the past but this is the first one I've felt confident could support me fully while away from home. Makes for a great combo with my S22 Ultra!

Overall a great product: responsive, fast, excellent screen quality. Keyboard and pen work very well too. The rotation feature has sometimes some issues and the battery is drained relatively fast. But it's great to work on minor things on the go.

A much needed upgrade
I upgraded from the tab s6 to the s8+ and you can really see the difference. The sound quality is amazing, I never need to use full sound. The display is amazing especially when watching Netflix, hbomax, etc. I love that I can customize everything to my own aesthetic. I can send things easily to and from my zflip. The pen is also very nice with the gestures and everything, I also think that the black pen looks more aestheticy pleasing. Overall this tablet was a great purchase especially since I could trade my old one in. I use it every single day.

I bought the tablet so I can use it for productivity tasks, so far it's what I expected.
I would recommend to improve tablets case so it has better protection and aslo supports the keyboard usage and the vertical handle modes when needed.

Nice Tablet that does it all
Recently upgraded from the Tab 6 Lite and its a huge change. I like the enhancements and the screen real-estate.
When in landscape mode the layout changes to one that mimics a desktop, which is a nice touch if you like toggle between apps that way.
It's also nice to be able to send things back and forth from phone to tablet to pc and vice versa.
Customization wise I can do just about the same things with my phone which I love. For me being able to customize even the smallest things makes a difference.
I do wish it could play some games better, but I didn't exactly buy it to game on.
Note taking and multitasking is really nice on this particular tablet mostly because I now have the space and tools to do so. And with the recent one ui update things have gotten better as well.
Overall I'm very pleased with my experience on the Tab series.

I use my s8+ tablet for two reasons, school and watching. This product connects to all my other samsung devices with no problems, music and videos are clear. Being able to take advantage of its features such as multi screen are easy to operate. All together this is high quality product and it will not disappoint.

Great Tablet experience for a college student.
I have owned the Tab s8+ for almost a year. As a college student, I love the accessibility that comes from using this product. It allows me to take notes easier without the need of spending money on notebooks and pencils. My courses this semester are available through the Canvas app which allows easy access. Studying sessions are much more fun when using this product.

Excellent media device, but not for work.
I bought the tablet for my side job as a musician. I wanted something to handle sheet music in poorly lit gigs and it excels in that role. I now use it for hobbies like RPGs and Tabletop gaming where the bright screen, clear details, and quick responses make it a pleasure to use. The battery is long lasting and the tablet is lightweight and durable. I toss it in my bag most days and love having it on hand.
It is so useful, in fact, that I began to consider it for work. As a professor, I wanted something that would let me write, comment, and engage with various class modules. Unfortunately, despite an efficient keyboard case and an excellent Dex mode, Android apps are still lacking. They don't distinguish between phones and tablets, rarely doing more than just stretching out apps over the larger scene.
Samsung built an amazing device, but the Android ecosystem is letting them down.

Best Tablets I've Used
I have not been as organized as i am with this tablet. I used to write everything on paper and now I have well over 1k notes. The screen size is perfect if you ask me. It suits my writing style and video viewing preference. I bought a metal tip for the s pen which makes the pen glide across the screen effortlessly, yes i do have a screen protector. All in all I've found myself using a tablet more than i ever thought i would.

Amazing tablet. I upgraded from s3, and this is in a world of its own. I purchased the keyboard flip case and love how responsive it is. The screen is huge and graphics are amazing for streaming movies or playing games. The s pen is nice. It's larger than my old pen so it's more comfortable to use. I think my favorite feature is how it works as a tablet but when I set it on the keyboard dex turns it into a desktop. I absolutely love my new tablet and wouldn't trade it in for anything else.

This product has made life easier
I use this device for my college work. Its multi window funtionality makes it easy to read the instructions I need to follow and perform the task at the same time. It is also much lighter and smaller then my laptop, which make me pull this out more often then my laptop.
it isnt the best for games as it cannot run Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail at any high settings. Its limited VRAM of 8 GB maximum is even more limited by a constant use of 4 GB of ram, leaving it to be a 4GB ram device. I cannot run at 60fps or the native resolution without significant frame rate drops. It disappointed me on this front.
The S-Pen is great, my favorite thing about it, is its smoot gliding across the screen and light weight nature. The battery of the pen last quite a long time and I have never had it run out of battery.
Overall I am happy with my purchase, but I wish I couldve have waited a little longer so I could have gotten the S9 Ultra instead (released two weeks after device was delieverd)

Great for college/grad students
I use this tablet to take notes in class. It has been an awesome addition to my academic arsenal. I no longer take books to class or worry about looking for my pencil.
My backpack is streamlined. The Tab S8+ is a great size, has excellent Samsung Dex capabilities and offers a quick way to edit pdfs and annotate research papers.
I would reccomend that buyers utilize the student discounts that samsung has available. This made purchasing a tablet much more affordable. I reccomend buying a Samsung wireless keyboard too!

I use this device for streaming and gaming. I find that the picture quality is very clear and just a very nice quality. The sound on it is amazing. The only problem I have had is that it doesn't seem to want to connect to some apps using Google, but I downloaded Firefox and it connects easily that way.

Love all my Samsung devices.
Use mainly for web-surfing, creating and editing documents. Only occasional gaming and streaming. Was slightly miffed that the standard S8 does not have the Super Amoled screen, so I had to go with the +, which is a little bit large for my liking. I had updated from the S5E which was perfect at 10.1". Wanted the new (at the time) Gen1 processor. So no kudos for no Amoled on S8 base model. Everything is perfect with S8+, but the size.

This tablet exceeds any other tablet I've owned and I've owned ipads and other Samsung tablets but this one takes the cake. It has an amazing display, very fast and responsive due to the high ram. Love my TabS8+.
I needed to get a new tablet for business and personal use, and was almost ready to buy the competitors tablet, but the much higher cost (Thank God) forced me to look for another brand.
During my research I read the great reviews for the Tab S8+, and was very pleased with the cost savings.
I love it!!
When attending conferences normally I would buy a paper tablet for my notes, but with Samsung Notes, I took no paper and easily created pages full of my hand written notes, that were easily corrected when I made errors.
Display is beautiful with colors that pop to life. I have had many compliments on the sound quality with music especially. The pen works great and do not need to recharge it for what I do.
I have highly recommended my Samsung TAB 8+ to my friends and family as a higher quality alternative, at a lower cost than that of the high priced competitor.

Great OS and Features
I use my device primarily for streaming, and creating documents.
I love that it connects with my other Samsung devices, so where I leave off in one device, I can pick up on another.
I am also appreciative of the fact that the user interface is the same between my different Samsung devices. I never have to remember where things are, what the icons look like, or how to access different settings on separate devices, because everything is the same on all of my Samsung devices.

My Galaxy Tab S8+ gets an A+++
I absolutely LOVE LOVE my Galaxy Tab S8+ I have a neurological disorder called neurofibromatosis which means I'm disabled and this tablet is was a birthday present and is a Godsend. I love how I can control almost everything by Air gestures and my voice, I love the voice to text. I also love the cameras the front and rear facing cameras are phenomenal.
The long lasting battery and the ability to customize the lock screen and the home screen it's beautiful. Google Assistant blows my mind what they can do! Some of the other features that I love are the Palm swipe to take screenshots, voice commands to take pictures and videos, the S Pen for air gestures. I spend a lot of time in the hospital so it's always great to have my tablet there I can watch YouTube videos or I can watch movies because the display screen resolution is simply phenomenal. I love the speed of everything and the transition from one screen to the next. I have been in Youth Ministry for 30 years I still get opportunities to speak at school groups or churches and the tablet is great for working on my notes and writing out my sermons. I love the photo gallery and photo editor feature because a lot of times I use pictures or videos when I'm speaking somewhere and it's great to be able to have it all on the screen right there for me. I have a Galaxy s22 Ultra phone I love how I can work on something on my phone then able to move over working on my tablet and its all right there!

I love it so far
I got my Samsung for school. So far it has been amazing in terms of performance overall. I love every aspect however I have a Dell laptop and I would love for the notes to actually show up on my device. I know they previously did so I would like if i could download samsung notes on Microsoft because this is a great obtacle for me.

Worth Every Penny!
I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S8+ as a present to myself when my old, smaller tablet (also a Samsung) was showing its age & no longer holding a charge very well. I chose this one because its main function is that of a television in my bedroom (in addition to other computer functions) & the quality of its picture is second to none, as far as I'm concerned. Since my previous tablet was a Samsung, as well as my phone(s), I had no learning curve with this new device & will continue to buy/use their products since I'm a very satisfied customer!

So many hours of gameplay and streaming!
I bought this tab S8+ because I love playing games but as I have bigger hands and bad eyes I enjoy playing on this bigger screen. I also use it for playing streaming video while I am at work too keep up to date on the news and weather and just relaxing at home watching Netflix. This Samsung tablet is so fast that I notice zero lag. It compliments my phone well and has a lot of features that allow me to transfer from my phone to tablet and back.

Amazing product!
So I have not bought a tablet because I never needed one since I have always bought the note or the new galaxy phones with the stylus. A lot of things doesn't surprise me such as the processor and unlimited settings you can do. The reason why I bought it was for art and how creative you can be on by drawing on a tablet than drawing on the phone.

I love my Galaxy Tab S8+
This is the perfect daily workhorse! It syncs with with my S22 Ultra! I love the display quality, how responsive it is and the colors! I am an artist and a big fan of the S pen! Battery last forever! It is quick and so far I haven't experienced any issues with my tablet! Gaming is great and fun with it but it is not the main thing I use it for! Perfect tablet for multitasking!

I bought this tablet to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy A8, and the difference is like night and day. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is much faster than the A8's Unisoc Tiger T618, and the extra RAM also helps. The large OLED screen is also very sharp for watching movies, and the Pink Gold color is beautiful. Audio quality from the speakers is excellent (I use them to listen to smooth jazz).

I use my tablet for casual surfing in the evenings at my home. I have been along time iPad user but this Samsung is better in so many ways. I love to use my pen to write any text that I need to. That alone has revolutionized how I use my tablet. I don't even use my laptop any more!

Really great tablet!
I've had the tablet for about a year and it has worked great for me. I mostly use it for streaming, casual games and internet. I got this version because I wanted the bigger screen and it has been worth it. Pairs nicely with my new Galaxy Buds. I really don't have any criticisms but I'm also not a heavy or intense user.

Solid Productivity
I have had this tablet for 9 months and it is a really productive tablet with minimum to no drawbacks. Big clear screen display with minimal lag when switching between applications. Quick processing when searching for information. The battery is amazing and can last all day even with videos and music.
The one issue I have is it does not display spreadsheets sufficiently and the functionality is not great, adequate but I did expect more.
All things considered I would purchase this tablet again!

Great dependable device for a student
I am using my tablet mainly for studying with some light gaming and movie watching on the side. What I love most about it is the ease of taking notes on the go. For ,y college courses I cannot imagine a life without it, I've even replaced taking notes on paper with the Samsung Notes app since I love that everything synchronizes with each other and I have a second samsung tablet plus a S22.

As a photographer, I love bringing my Galaxy Tab s8+ to shoots to show my clients some on the spot sneak peeks and do some on-the-go editing. My Galaxy tab easily handles huge files and editing software and the screen really helps show off my photos. I had gotten this tablet because I'm a student and I need something to take my notes on but wasn't too heavy like a laptop. So when I was exploring my options I came across the galaxy tab series and I really liked the cool features that the Spen brings. It works really well and I also really enjoy watching videos and even playing games on it. The screen is really nice and big and the colors look really cool. I was also really glad that it came in different colors. Overall I love my galaxy tablet and I will keep buying Samsung products in the future!

Use my tablet every day!
Perfect size not too big not too small!
Being self-employed, I do a lot of research on the road and connecting with customers so using advanced features like s pen, side keys, motion and gestures and screenshots, etc. help keep all my information organized and available at any time.
During my down/ relaxing time I stream videos and movies. The videos/movies are crystal clear and I have no problem streaming media. The screen size on the Samsung S8+ is the perfect size for watching videos.
Very happy with the Samsung S8+ and I would highly recommend it to anybody who's in the market for a tablet.

This is the prefect tablet for me. The screen is incredible and the performance is just fantastic. I've had it over 6 months now and it is as snappy as day 1, along with the many additional apps I've installed. The pen is a bonus in my mind. The audio wowed me with the first song. I no longer bring a Bluetooth speaker with me when I travel!
The Samsung software is a great companion and brings a number of nice features on top of Android.
Having purchased 128GB S8+ model , I added a 256GB SDCard for my music.
Usage: music, drawing, reading, browsing (reddit, Twitter, web, etc.), games, video streaming, photo editing.

A great tablet at a great price
I use my S8+ as a means to browse the internet, watch videos, and store movies for viewing during vacations.
I recently upgraded from an S5. The new S8+ is faster, larger, and has a better overall experience for viewing movies.
I have been a loyal Samsung owner for over 7 years and have enjoyed the connectivity between the tablet and the phone, as well as the ability to transfer video playback from mobile to my TV.
I would be hard pressed to choose any other brand over Samsung.

Okay so this is an amazing tablet. Big but light. Make sure you get a screen protector and a case because you'll want to keep this for a long time. The display is beautiful. S pen I'm still getting used to. It is bigger than the one that came with the phones. Over all it's a really nice tablet. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

I use the S8+ almost daily to read or view news stories, stream videos, online shop, bill pay and read email. It's fast and responsive and the AMOLED screen is stellar, with great video quality and speakers. I find the 12.4" display size perfect for me. Battery life is exceptional, I can go days without recharging, but when you need to recharge it does so quickly. It's a great tablet!

More than a large version of my phone
I initially bought it because of a sale. I didn't think much of it more than just a larger screen to watch videos. It is a great screen to watch videos but I've learned it's great for so much more. I have incorporated it into my work setup as a dual screen. I hook it up to my TV and use Dex as well.

This is a great all around tablet. It handles everything I would need to handle on a day to day basis without a hiccup. I can be productive and work on my tablet and play games alike. Compared to the Apple alternative, there are software work around features for app scaling issues. I would reccommend the galaxy tab S8+ to anyone.

Exceeded my expectations
Bought it hoping it could use it in an emergency to handle work requests when I didn't have my laptop or when using it would be difficult. It has exceeded my expectations! It can take on some difficult spreadsheets and is large enough to see them well. Although theoretically possible on a phone, this is not practical. Great device!

Not much choices when it comes to premium android tablets. Traded my tab s6 for the ultra. Love everything about it besides the weight, handles media so well but too big so switched to the s8+ instead. Great for most things, dex is great too but multi tasking with words/excel still lacking compared to windows.

A Beastly Multi-tasking Tool
There simply isn't a better way to write notes than on this thing. While there are a few features I'd like to see added to Samung Notes, there really hasn't been a situation in class where this thing has failed me. If I want to type my notes, I have the proprietary keyboard to do just that. I have a lot of presentations to do in school, and it's pretty easy to navigate that when plugging it in to another display. I don't use Dex often, but honestly there's not much need of it. Since it is a tablet, it doesn't have proper support for time-saving apps like Zotero, which helps you with citing sources in essays swiftly, but the ability to have an attached audio recording with any lecture is tremendously handy. I'd atually love to see Samsung Notes instill an auto close captioning feature for the words my handwriting fails to catch up to, but the three microphones on the S8+ typically do a great job at accurately capturing the words of my professors to where I can make out what they're saying. Writing on pdfs is ridiculously handy as well, especially when there's a lot of research I need to get done when prepping for an essay. Not sure when these things will replace the need for laptops, but it's clear they're getting close.

The Galaxy Tab S8+ is the best tablet I bought. It has a slick design. The S-pen is very responsive as if you are writing in a paper.Also when editing photos, I really loved it. The display is one of the best , high definition when watching movies or any video streams. It's all worth it, wouldn't change it for any other tablet. I am use my device for personal and for work.
Samsung provides the easiest set up that is seamless. The user interface is gorgeous along with it's display. I found streaming to be better than my phone. I am living for a full sized stylus.

I am a real power user. You name it I probably do it on this tablet. I edit small videos, watch Netflix and hulu, plus play games and more. I bought a keyboard case for it and it makes text mode so much better. Though I do have a MacBook I prefer taking this with me due to the simple fact of the abilities that it has and also that is a lot easier to carry around. I forgot to mention I love drawing on here also I do small graphic design projects on the go as well. Power , beauty and performance! 10 out 10. If your on the fence, don't be. Go get one.

I mainly use my tablet for streaming games, shows, and drawing. Due to its amazing speed, power, and size, I am able to do virtually any thing on it. It has an amazing screen resolution when it comes to watching my favorite shows and movies. Its power and battery life esures that gaming could last for hours on a single charge.And dont even get me started on the pen. It is just as usefull on the tablet, as it is on the famous Samsung Galaxy S22 and 23 ultra. I am able to take hands free selfies, take notes, draw, and control my videos. I use my S8+ daily to review emails, and handle day to day business, I love the graphics, speed and usability of this tablet. I had am s2 and an s5, but this with the large screen and I love the ability to be able to do multiple things at once qith no lag in productivity. Even connecting to other clients wifi or mobile Hotspot is a breeze. I like the fact I xan connect to my phone with ease and being able to make calls and even the video calls qhen needed are outstanding. Samsung really stepped up the game on this 9ne. My Grandson ususe it for a few of his games and he lives the graphics, the 4 speakers are excellent while gaming or plating music

This is the first samsung tablet I've ever owned, but I've been a user of Samsung products for a while and I've always appreciated the quality of the products.
The S8+ has incredible clarity and responsiveness. There's no lag when moving from screen to screen and apps pull up instantaneously.
I also own the keyboard cover for the S8+ and it works just as phenomenally as the tablet itself. It serves almost in the same capacity as a laptop/netbook, just lighter weight and faster than a basic laptop.
I also very much appreciate being able to seamlessly screen share to my Samsung TV, a feature that keeps me coming back to Samsung products.

If you have a desktop PC and you want something lighter than a laptop with great battery life and functionality, this is the one.
When I bought the s8+ I was worried I might not use it enough but I use it daily. It's perfect for me. I can use it like a laptop with dex, I can use it like a tablet, I can use it as a second monitor to watch/listen to things while I play games. It's great for taking notes. It's just a great Tablet
Overall the experience is amazing, fluid and once you make it fit you it's actually really good. You can maximize it to how you use it using routines and accessory apps and settings.
It's also not a laptop, it's advertised to you often with a keyboard, but a lot of apps don't work properly or at all, some Google doc shortcuts don't apply, the Gmail/Google services interface doesn't offer you as many options as if you were on a laptop even in Google dex. But it is good at being at tablet. And I think that's fine to be honest everything doesn't have to be everything yk?
If you're an art student or a student in general the table will come in handy. I struggled then gave up transferring how I take notes from on paper to taking notes on the tablet even though the writing technology is phenomenal. OH AND IT DOESNT COME WITH THE CASE BTW YOU HAVE TO BUY THE KEYBOARD FOR ANOTHER 300 DOLLARS

Great Screen with Great Features
I use the tablet mostly for school, the pen is really useful for making digital notes. The oled screen is very nice for watching videos and movies. The size of the screen is also perfect; it isn't so big that its cumbersome but it is big enough where its basically like writing on a piece of paper. You can also use it as a laptop essentially if you sset it to DEX mode and use a keyboard.

Best Tablet I've owned
I mostly use my tablet for watching movies or playing games. This, by far, is the best one I've had. The screen is the perfect size and is crystal clear. The sound is even good for a tablet! It charges quickly and hold a charge for a long time. I enjoy using the S-pen to write notes and not have to tap a keyboard.

I upgraded my tablet to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet S8+ from an older model and am glad I spent the extra money to get better quality.
I use the tab for surfing, shopping, note-taking, social media, organization (I prefer Samsung Notes over most apps), and texting and calling once I link my phone and tablet.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because of poor design for the stylus "holder". There really is not a holder. The stylus is very light, easy to use and has a light magnetic quality on 1 side of 1 end that is flat. There is no holder for the stylus but it has the small magnetic hold on the back. This makes for easy loss of the stylus. It's lightweight, so when barely bumped; it is dislodged and very easy to not know when this happens. I have found that if I don't want to lose the stylus, I have to use a big bulky case. I suppose I could tape it, use velcro, tie it to the tablet and have better results and not lose the stylus but really!?! I am a longtime, devout Samsung user and such a small, yet overlooked detail is quite a pain if you use a stylus.

I went to my electronics store Best buy to brosw around and decided to check out the Samsung tablet. I really liked the Samsung galaxy s8+ because it was nice and comfortable to hold in your hands and it comes with the s pen. The writing and drawing feature was beautiful and the graphics was amazing. I have a samsung tablet but it stopped working. I loved this tablet and I'm hoping to get this one soon.

Overall a Good Tablet
So far I'm having so much Fun with the Spen, however a period is hard for it to put when writing to text. I bought this Tablet for school to take notes and of course have fun w/the colors and templates, however for my school email I can't View them like I do on my laptop which means I still have to have my laptop close by because I guess Software issues? Cameras for sure is not the best quality but it's still good. Love the fact that I can have multiple apps on one screen.I do notice on certain streaming chanels it's not as crisp as my phone, but the sound is great. I have not messed with second screen useage w/ my laptop but I'm sure it works great & this tab is a good size for it.

I have really enjoyed the S8+. Prior to this tablet I wasn't happy with the Android offerings so I used an iPad. This tablet changes it all.
The pen is much more usable than an Apple pencil. More usability as more apps utilize the pen. Samsung built in pen functionality makes it a game changer.
The overall speed is very fast and responsive. No waiting on this bad boy.
I use for business while doing note taking or writing up invoices. As well as general browsing and app use.

I use my tablet for my on the go computer (MacBook). It handles everything that I do with no problem, I edit pictures for my photography side hustle, general administrative activities, streaming, schedules, etc.... it hasn't given me any problems!

The features on this tablet are great. The picture, sound and resolution are top notch. As someone who used an IPAD Mini for gaming, etc. I do find this tablet a little on the bulky side.
I also purchased the keyboard which I am luke warm on. The functionality leaves something to be desired.
Overall this was a good purchase. If I could rewind time I would probably get the apple product instead but that should not be a reason to not get this if you support android.

The perfect compromise
I use this as a general productivity device but occasionally for entertainment too. I recently took it on a two week business trip to Europe and India. I lugged along my laptop too but never booted it, the tablet (with book cover keyboard) did everything and the 5G connection means I am never disconnected. The screen is about the right size, big enough for real work without sacrificing portability.

Amazing tablet with multiple purposes
I love my tablet! I use it for personal and business, usually at the same time! I love how there can be two apps opened at one time, so I can have my music player open and my art application open side by side. The stylus S pen is fantastic and makes me feel like a wizard with its air gestures. There is a Dex mode as well that allows you to have a laptop look, allowing windows for multiple apps. It's great! Huge! And if you're an artist, you will love the refresh rate as you draw on the screen!

I love this tablets features!
I use my tablet to take notes and do a lot of studying on it. I love that it is so easy to do a split screen so I can be taking notes on one side, while reading.
I also use the tablet to stream movies and shows and I love the screen, the sound is also great and the tablet is so fast! It was also so easy to move my information to the new tablet I am very happy I decided on this model.

I use my tablet daily to watch movies, do a little shopping, homework, but most of all play games. It is so convenient for me to use for my other daily activities because I have about 7 different alarms set on here to let me know when I have different tasks to get done throughout the day (between playing games of course). But overall it's the convenience and organization that it gives me.

I upgraded from galaxy tab s2 to galaxy tab s8+
I really liked the big screen, yet not so big it would make it difficult to be carried.
The samsung Dex make it just like a laptop though limited apps work there.
The pen is very smooth to use and rich in motions you can use.
Overall i am very satisfied with it but I'm hoping more apps will be compatible with Dex in the future

Outstanding display and sound
I use my tablet every day. I either play the basic relaxing game to action and I can up the settings to the highest speed and never have lag or shutter. The movies are great with this device. Clear and no lag. The built in speakers are of the highest quality.
I love Samsung. I have had several tablets and this S8+ is by far the best. I no longer own a computer with this tablet screen size and speed there is nothing it can't do in my opinion.

Best Android tablet if budget allows
I recently upgraded from Tab S7 to Tab S8+ and am very happy about the Tab S8+
First and foremost, you must buy the keyboard cover (the more expensive one), not the cheaper "keyboard cover slim". Without this keyboard and builtin track pad, you cannot unleash the tablet's full potential. This is almost a laptop replacement. But it also makes it super expensive.
Pros:
Excellent OLED screen
Screen size is perfect balance between usability and portability
Speakers are loud and good
Battery life is sufficient (though S7 is better)
Excellent keyboard cover
Great integration with samsung phone and laptop
Cons:
VERY expensive (together with keyboard cover)
No docking station (plugging and unplugging charger is so primitive)
No 3.5mm audio jack
Cannot recognize card slot of USB hub (software bug causing tablet built-in card slot overriding cardslot of external USB hub)

Amazing quality
I have absolutely loved my tab s8+ since the day I bought it. I am a professional musician and I use my tablet everyday for reading music, taking notes, and watching videos. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it for the first time. The weight is very nice and you can tell that it's made with premium materials.
The pen has also been an amazing feature. It's the perfect size, and I love how it feels as it glides across the screen. It feels so real! The button is very accessible and the gestures are extremely useful.
Some extra features I love are the 120 hz screen. WORTH IT! I have a hard time looking at any other screen that doesn't have that. I also appreciate how loud the speakers are!
The only things I would want to see in later models is a better vibration motor. You can feel the individual vibrations from being so slow, and it makes it feel fake. I also would like to be able to charge my pen on the side of the tablet and not just the back.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the tab s8+, and I always suggest it to my friends who are looking for a tablet. I've had many people come up to me and day that they'd ditch their iPad for a tablet like this.

First thing call you atention it the display quality. Specially black.
It feels robust, but I put a cover anyway. The sound is great, you can even use it to put music when you work.
Battery, several days for office use. If I see videos or use it for zoom It would have enough battery for the whole day.
My next buy will be the magnetic keyboard looking for a discount because it's expensive.
This is the right screen size. I would use my notebook/desktop if I need a bigger screen.

Great tablet
This is my 2nd Samsung table. My previous tablet was from 2013 and still working fine. I was wanting a larger tablet and since that old one was still going strong after 10 years, I stuck with Samsung.
The S8+ is fast, great resolution, sturdy feel and well worth it. I really like the 11.4" size and I am very satisfied with it.

Everything I needed
This device was everything I needed for work and play. It's blistering fast thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 16GB ram. The battery life is amazing, coming in with its 10090 mAh battery that can last several days on standby without a charge. Having the S Pen and being able to fill out PDF files is extremely convenient. It's a media powerhouse with its bright, crisp 12.4" SAMOLED display and 4 Dolby Atmos speakers that really put out impressive virtual surround sound for its compact size. Being able to switch into DEX Mode and get work done with a more conventional desktop UI experience is one of things that impressed me most about this device compared to other brands' offerings. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and will be sticking with the Galaxy Tab S series for a while!

Everything I want in a tablet plus
The tab S8+ is a great tablet for just about any type of work load. I game at the highest settings with 120hz refresh rates. I draw with the included S pen and keep track of all my expenses and hobbies. When it comes to watching videos or listening to music the tab S8 can't be out done.

The tablet I think is better than the ultra
The s8+ is a piece of tech I waited for and waited for, i did alot of research and reading I bought a s7 fe first and when I had the opportunity tobsee the graphics the sound and the perfectly balanced media capabilities, I had to have it, now the ultra us a fine chunk of tech but I don't do that much to need that monster, gaming streaming or downloaded movies TV music it looks great sounds great and after months of pushing it it hasn't failed me once. As off as it sounds sansung even put some useful stuff on it that I use , it just doesn't disappoint. I also bought a book 2 360 chrome book..the s8+ smokes it to a point I don't even use it anymore except to collect the s8+'s dust. Accessories I find wanting...aftermarket handles that easy enough.

I am new to tablets, but an avid PC user. I wanted something larger then my samsung phone to take notes and do most of the addition mobile work I would try to do from my phone. The S8+ seems like the perfect fit. This isn't a PC or laptop replacement when it comes to programming or games, but it is proving to be a great digital notepad with many extras.
This model has many of the improvements the Ultra has in a more manageable package and a less hefty price tag.

In my opinion the galaxy s8+ is the best tablet for gaming, browsing the web and media consumption. The size isn't to big and not heavy making it very portable for on the run. If I had to ask for any improvement it would be a longer lasting battery. This also has great keyboard and mouse support making it an excellent laptop replacement. The screen and Atmos speakers take movies and gaming to the next level. Just buy it, you will not regret it.

Since the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is basically a small Samsung TV (14 inches)....the 12.4 inch S8+ is the sweet spot....and it's the best tablet ever created. So I use my tabs8+ as a laptop replacement when I'm on the go. I have a mobile plan on it so anywhere I go I can work. I use it to remote access my company so I can write quotes , bill , and look up customer Information while in the field. I also use it for media consumption.
My favorite features are the s reen for one. It's so beautiful. It operates pretty fast so the is no lagging. I like how my samsung notes connect through all my samsung devices. Having the stylus ready whenever I need is awsome. The keyboard case makes it a great laptop replacement. And when my kids ask I use to play alittle fortnite with them. All in all it handles everything I need to do. Great tablet/ laptop.

(I have a Galaxy S10 phone) I use it for things as simple as browsing social media, to using DEX in conjunction with my laptop to get work done. I love it for watching videos and streaming and sometimes prefer it over using my TV. The only issue I have is the color doesn't seem as vibrant when I'm streaming something in 4k, like on YouTube TV for example. If i select a 4K sporting event for example, it's clear, I just feel the colors show up dimmer. Also, I love the S Pen. I just wish it had more functionality still. I use it to write, but I mostly use it to navigate the device via gestures. I don't like having fingerprints all over the screen so the S pen is great for mitigating that. The more I'll be able to use the S pen as a true remote, the better. I don't use it as much for drawing.

I have tablets to supplement phones. For times when I need a more portable larger screen. I don't use it in home that much but usually for travel and outside use. I've had many s series tablets and each one is always an improvement on the last. Blazing fast. Does nearly everything a phone does bigger. Best screens in the business period hands down. Best android tablets ever made. Wish you had the ultra version on more carriers as I always get cellular model.

Perfect for business owner that's also a student
I use my Tab s8+ for work and play. I am a LegalShield business owner who needs portability on the go. I am also a full-time law student. I attend classes at NWCU School of Law. I am required to read lots of books. I was carrying tons of books, which aren't always the best for your back. Having the tablet with the downloaded books works wonders. I can annotate the books and write notes in Samsung Notes. I also have a Samsung laptop and the Samsung Fold 5. These devices together allow for a complete office in my pocket and backpack. I am mobile and love to work from anywhere. Tablets are now mainstream for the business professional, and I use the remote office to get into my office PC. Carrying the Samsung Tab s8+ has been terrific.

I use this wifi enabled tablet using my hot spot from my phone while driving for rideshare companies. The tablet connects very fast and runs flawlessly. I haven't had any issues running any of the apps. I highly recommend this tablet!

Awesome tablet. Not only is it fast, but its large screen allows Dex to basically work as PC. Brilliant screen and sounds quality are too notch. The S-pen is great for artist, but is also great to take notes and draw some sketches. Definitely recommend it.

I use my Galaxy S8+ for several purposes.
My favorite is talks. For Conferences is important to have all those tools you need. My Galaxy S8+ have the size, the speed, multitasking, etc. I love this.
I also use my Galaxy Tab S8+ for Canva, PDFs, Zoom, and specialized software.
I love the ecosystem and communication between my laptop and Galaxy S8+, my Galaxy s22 ultra any my Galaxy S8+ using Samsung flow. This is smooth and time saver.

I used to have IPad Air and changed to Tab S8+. I would like to say it was a the best choice for a trucker like me. The screen is big and crip, also navigating with the touching screen is amazing. I have the 5G version and even bought the Tab S7+ for my daughter and she loved it.

I enjoy my Samsung but if I don't have a case that holds on to the pen... it's as good as LOST ! Also with all this required pen charging it would be nice for it to have a sudden chirp when it's lost so it can be found... that would be great too.

The tablet has all the features I need
I use my device for streaming and for a second screen monitor for learning, I also use it for video and photo editing. I also use the tablet and provided S pen for drawing and for that it's paired great with the 120hz screen.
I have begun using it for my daily necessities like answering emails and even light document editing.
But by far my favourite feature is the quad speakers when watching movies and series.

Tab S8+ The sweetest spot of them all
I use this tablet for a multitude of tasks. It's easy to use as a secondary screen for a laptop due to its size, perfect for on the go streaming and gamepass (you can even output to a large tv!)
The Galaxy environment and accessories are extremely good. Finding a wireless keyboard or keyboard/cover combo is easy. Pair it up with a dock and use Dex mode for better productivity.
I can't fault it at all. If you're new to the S Tab series, get the plus S8 or S9. You won't be disappointed.

Good product but limited use case
There are several really great things about the S8 - the speakers, screen, weight, battery life, etc. But I found it also very limiting in the sense that there's not much I'd use the tablet for. I usually prefer my phone for the portability and much smaller form factor for daily things like watching youtube videos and playing games, and especially playing games, because it runs much smoother on my phone. I found myself only using this tablet to draw and watch a show, which is very unfortunate.

I use the device for work, and streaming while traveling, and as a second monitor for my laptop. I also will use it for simple work tasks like emails and team communication. The hardware quality is premium, and the software is well designed. Gesture navigation, DeX mode, multitasking multi windows. It all just works well and intuitively. The S Pen feels fantastic for note taking and drawing out rooms. The seamless notes between my phone tablet and computer is game changing. The camera is meh, but that's somewhat expected for a tablet as it isn't a core use case. But taking photos with the tablet into drawings is nice if the camera was a little better.

This tablet is the closest I've seen a tablet come to a full PC in terms of specs and features Samsungs One UI is the best looking OS I've used and is loaded with features for almost everyone no matter what your interested in this tablet can do it. It's a great gaming tablet plays high end graphical games like genshin impact with very little issue. And the included S pen is a very helpful note taking tool and if you are an artist that likes to draw or to edit pictures this is a great tablet to consider. Also finally it's screen is beautiful has the best picture of any tablet at this price point. I can't really think of any flaws other than the fact that some settings can be hard to find and change but overall a fantastic tablet I highly recommend it.

I love how fast my tablet is for streaming videos. I also love that I can easily cast my tablet on my Samsung TV for a better viewing experience. I have so much storage on this device and shouldn't need to upgrade to a new device for a long time. I'm an older person and I don't have any issues with how to use all of the functions that this device offers. I would recommend this tablet to anyone who is in the market for a new device no matter what their age is. This is my first tablet in a while and Samsung has then it's best and it is just an absolute amazing tablet that I have used so far. The screen is amazing, the S Pen works so fine the multi asking is so good and it's just a completely different experience. I wished I had bought the ultra version but I think I'm happy with the plus version for now and maybe in the future. Best tablet experience ever
I bought this because I needed something that gave my ability to be a computer and also a tablet in one. I was able to achieve that and also still be able to connect to my Windows PC and made the experience so much better. I normally don't even carry a laptop with me because this normally does what I need to do. Also having the stylus, it helps me sign my documents and allowing me to create my notes a lot easier especially when I am doing my short films. This also connects to all my other Samsung devices and it makes everything so seamless life is easy with this tablet.

Perfect for multi tasking
I use this for my doctorate studies in the dental field. It has been nothing but excellent in all aspects. Improvements could still be made to the notes app to make it more productive.
I also wish you could use the translate or add function like translate with the Bixby vision pen look up word definitions as well, especially medical and dental terms.

I am a swing trader and I got this product to write notes and do my technical analysis and it's been great. The screen is massive and has a beautiful display. I mostly use my galaxy tab s8+ for streaming movies and playing games, though I also use it for writing and reading for class. I love the s-pen and all of the features that come with it- the gestures are especially handy, and it's great for writing notes. I also like that I can connect an xbox controller and play xbox games on the go. My only issue is that I upgraded it from the s7 and it so far is almost identical so it felt like a useless upgrade.

I absolutely love this Samsung tablet. Hands down one of the best if not the best tablet in the market. Very fast speed, easy to customize to your personal preferences, can be used for both business and personal use - both of which I use. It's not to big, not to small - just the right size. I highly recommend to any and everyone, even if your not in the market for a tablet, once you have it in your hands you'll never want to let go of it.

Easy to switch
When I say easy to switch, I mean between a tablet to samsung DEX, from pen to typing and transferring files between my samsung devices. My earbuds also switch easily between my phone and tablet. It is convient and easy to use.

Wonderful tablet
This is my second Samsung tablet and 4th overall. Hands down the best I've owned so far. Great battery life, fast charging, vivid display, oodles of storage even without additional Mico SD. No problems streaming movies, playing games, running programs even in multi window. Good size but not too big , hence why I went with the 8+. I would recommend to others .

Best Tablet on the Market
I love my Tab S8+. I purchased the tablet to record my son's travel games. It has served it's purpose and then some. I use it to watch videos, take pictures, and complete work tasks. Everyone thinks it's an Apple device and I quickly correct them.

THE S8 plus had all the features and support I wan
It's basically taken over our family laptop. Does everything we need it to do for our daily routine. We especially love it for looking at all our baby pictures. Thin and light so we always travel with it. Best tablet I've owned . The integration with our phones also helps us have our apps on multiple devices which is nice. All In all we love it !

Great tablet!
I mostly use my tablet for streaming and browsing the web, but also some light gaming. I always take it with me when I travel, it's great for watching movies or shows but also for keeping up to date with my email, paying bills, etc... The display quality is wonderful and battery life is exceptional.

Worth the upgrade
I don't write frequent reviews, but the Galaxy Tab S8+ was worth saying something about. Last year, I switched from iPhone to to Galaxy S21 Ultra which inspired me to pursue Samsung tablets. After starting with a simple A8, I realized I needed something that could do more. The S8+ met all of my needs and then some. I purchased this for school. I can run multiple apps simultaneously and it doesn't slow down which was a HUGE deal for me. It also has a respectable battery life and charges fairly quickly. I've used this on flights for studying and barely touched the battery. This was worth the investment, and would purchase the S series again in a heartbeat. I'm very critical of tools I use on a regular basis and have no problem spending the money on something that keeps me from stressing out. This tablet actually makes my life easier-not more frustrating. I'm happy with the Android platform, and I'm happy with the product Samsung has produced.

I have always loved samsung products and this tablet does the job. I love that I can transfer from my phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) to my tablet and vice versa. I get homework done, I also blog from my tablet. The battery life is great, my husband even enjoys of it that he is able to draw. Overall I recommend this tablet to everyone.

My S8+ is better than Apple's IPad
I use my Samsung tablet 8+ with keyboard and touchpad attachment everyday for taking notes at work. The battery last me 2 days with work use. I also take it with me on the airplanes for vacation to veiw from the airplane cabin. My S8+ gives me a bigger screen than apples equal and also cost way less with all of the options. I will be a Samsung User for life.

Galaxy S8+ for College use
I like to use my Galaxy device in college to take notes and on dex mode, a useful feature if I want to multitask on my screen. I like how efficient it is being able to have my keyboard as well as my spen. I just hope in future tablets we wont have to spend money to buy an Spen. I think the way samsung sells their products, the best feature was being able to be better and more low cost than other brands you can get. I like hopw we have Oled screens and the blacks in the screen makes watching video beautiful. If you want a tablet and want it to work with the samsung ecosystem, highly reccommend samsungs tablet. I need to purchase the new S9 series for how large the screen is which can be used as a monitor for your PC.

I use Galaxy Tab S8+ and laptop everyday for work. My S8+ is very convenient. I just open the keyboard cover and it's instantly on. Lightweight to carry, size is not bulky as my laptop but screen is not too small. Love it so much.

Snappy powerful family entertainer
I use s8+ as a overall tamil lg tablet. It used for streaming, gaming, pdf document editing and shopping, most of the time it replaces the need to use tablet.
It also has pretty neat feature called dex, which turns my TV into a computer when connected via hdmi. It also turns into convenient portable device at night to Bing watch series at my bed. No lag what so ever on any of the day to day activities.

The most productive tablet I've worked with
I don't usually rate devices with 5 stars but Samsung did a great job with its tablet line.
I'm using my tablet for work, personal use and even for... Flying as a pilot!
The device is snappy with a great color and contrast that helps me in the office and home as well as the cockpit! Juggling with multiple screens open when doing email and reviewing documents for work or swapping between flying maps and charts is great and saves me a lot of time.
In addition, since I also have my Samsung phone and galaxy tab, whenever I play YouTube on my tablet, I don't have to worry about my buds switching automatically between my phone and the tablet to listen to the video on my tablet. This ecosystem integration is great as well.

Approaching greatness
This is my second tablet ever. The first being the original kindle fire tablet. I know. I have loved this tablet. However, the screen is just sooooo underwhelming compared to my friend's iPad. I feel like y'all are holding back on the screens and I just don't get it. Is it a power issue? Idk. Anywho, how are you? Jkjk. I have always been an android guy aside from the iPod classic and iPod touch back in the day, I got my first android when I got the Samsung idk, whatever the equivalent to the touch was. But it was dope, I cheated on y'all with the OG htc one that had the built in remote. So, like I love innovative devices. Charging that pen on the back of thisdevice is just chef's kiss...... But like if you don't get the specific keyboard case (that best buy is VERY CONFUSED about and the only dang place that has it in stock) you can't transport the dang thing without the pen falling off! And like yea, it is the perfect ratio between being slightly hard to pull off and not able to stay on at all, but I'm Heckin paranoid. But yea, excellent job on that, but more cases with pen holding magnetic flap cases please! Oops. I'm running out of room. I have so many ideas! Contact me! I'm a psychologist and love the notes app! The tablet S8+ really is a perfect device for working and also for fun. I can take all my notes easily, share the notes, and print them when I need. The writing feeling is very smooth. It is not like a paper, but I like this one better since it is more comfortable and requires little pressure to write. This means no wrist pains taking meeting notes. I can actually write faster than type. I can move notes, add images and organize things and thoughts once the meeting finishes. Regarding entertainment and videos, the tablet is also life changing. The image is perfect, bright, and captures every detail of the videos. The audio is awesome as well, it has the perfect balance between bass and treble. There some drawing apps as well and it is fun to color images, and make my own creations. In sum, the S8+ is exactly what I was expecting and even more. I can assure the Galaxy S line is one of the best tablets in the market. It is future proof, and will last for a long time. I still have the first one fully working since 2014.

I use it daily, for school by taking notes with the stylus or typing with my keyboard. Honestly I love it for graphic design and lately I've been using it for mixing music as well. I used to sell Samsung tablets and phones through tmobile and it was a daily necessity to show all its neat features. Definitely has something for everyone, I ever game on it from time to time. The only room for improvement would be adding a thumb reader on each side, or at least improving the readability, and more stylus tips are needed. Every person that had purchased a tablet or that I have met has had to purchase extra, so at least make it available for purchase instead of loosing money to Amazon. My stylus tip broke in the first week, which was disappointing but everything else was fantastic!

Originally I bought the tablet to use as a laptop for business only but soon realized the clarity of the screen and mobility of it was too good not to use it for leisure. An absolute iPad killer!
I picked up this Tab S8 Plus about a week ago. Keep in mind, this is after owning pretty much every iPad Pro up to this date and the regular iPad as well. The screen is phenomenal, images absolutely beautiful and it feels very well made. The OS is fast with no noticeable lag, camera is beautiful and the S Pen works amazingly. I doubt I will ever use another iPad after owning this, Samsung is my new go-to for tablets. Bye Apple!

As an owner of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 for a year, I can confidently say it's a great tablet. The 14.4-inch Super AMOLED display is stunning, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor provides fast and responsive performance. This tablest is exellent for media consuming, gaming, watch movies, or social media. The most interested feature that sets this tablet apart is the multitasking. you can set te cambas to use up to 4 differebt applicatioin at the same time. I can watch a movie while chscking my social media account, composing an email and redinng news. This tables very versatil and has a georgeous screen.

Well I love my Galaxy s22 ultra the Galaxy tab S8+ takes my multimedia experience to an incredibly high level I never thought anything looked so good. There is a slight learning curve because there's different options compared to the phone but not money and I've always bought Samsung so I know my way around. I've had several tablets in the past but nothing compares to the speed power and display of this tablet.

I use my galaxy tab s8+ mostly for media consumption, streaming movies and watching videos online. It excels in picture quality, I find myself using it for the OLED screen more often than living room TV. Can get very bright, I never need to have it more than 50%. The speakers are quite loud and comes from both sides of the tablet when placed horizontally which makes it very convenient. Battery life is reliable, even when it's below 50% I know I have hours left before I have to plug in.
Construction is very strong, I have 0 worries about the tablet body being damaged. It took 1 nasty fall before I put a case on it, and other than some minor scuffing on the corner it functions just fine. After about a year of use the screen still seems to be in perfect condition.
Overall it does it's job as a media device perfectly. Love the display quality.

I bought this tablet for school work and taking detailed notes for my research. The tablet has many features that have made my workflow more productive. Seamless clipboard syncing across devices, the ease of Samsung Notes and OneNote syncing, Dex so I don't have to carry my laptop everywhere for remote access to my workstation, and a great display for movie watching when I'm on a long flight are just a few of the reasons I love this tablet.

I removed one star for just a few annoyances- the pen (which is excellent) detaches easily from the device and the lack of available Galaxy store content. I have been with samsung for a long time and had several tablets, none come close to this tablet. The size is perfect the resolution is amazing for gaming and streaming. Dex is a must a m d with multi screen this can handle my day to day work load and last all day long with no issue. Will be very hard for samsung to top this unit

Does Exactly What I need It To
The Tab 8+ is the perfect size, and paired with last year's keyboard cover (that covers the pen, and allows the keyboard to detach from the kickstand), and Samsung Dex, it's a fabulous laptop replacement when I travel.
The screensize allows the keyboard to be big enough to not be cramped feeling, yet it's still small enough for me to hold in one hand and write notes with the other.
I love that it integrates perfectly with my S22 Ultra, and my Buds 2 Pro's. I can easily send and receive texts, and if I'm watching media on my tablet, and my phone rings, my media is paused and the buds automatically switch to my phone.
Honestly, the device is just a perfect tool. Its flexibility is so useful. Within a day, I can attach it to the keyboard and using Samsung Dex, I can do a quick morning check of my emails. As it works seamlessly with the Microsoft office suite my employer uses, I can create or edit files as needed. Then as I jump into meetings, I can take notes, continuing with the keyboard and Dex, or, take the keyboard off, then it to a portrait orientation and write notes by hand. The forward facing camera is great fir a Team's meeting, and I can use the pen to collaborate with my colleagues using the Teams whiteboard.
Out of work, I pop off the keyboard and enjoy the gorgeous display as I watch streaming movies, and can easily transfer photos from my phone to edit them on the larger screen.
It might be the most useful piece of technology that I've ever purchased.

Perfect for entertainment
I'm so happy with my Samsung galaxy s8+ tablet! It's the best device I've ever owned. The screen quality is amazing, it's like looking at a real picture. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is sharp, and the brightness is adjustable. The tablet is also great for casual gaming and video playback. I can play my favorite games without any lag or glitches, and the sound quality is superb. The battery life is also impressive, I can watch videos for hours without worrying about running out of juice. The tablet is sleek, lightweight, and easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a premium tablet experience.

Replaced my laptop
This has replaced my old laptop for average day to day needs (I am no longer a student and use a separate laptop for work, but this works great for every day shopping, news, music, basic research, bill pay etc. - plus it's great for watching media and portable.

I use my tablet to wacht movies, screen resolution is great. fast processor and love the Dex mode to do some work when traveling, no need to have my laptop, screen size convinient to have files and emails on the go!

Great Tablet
I think the only down side to this device is it was marketed as a laptop alternative. As tablet it outshines the competition. Beautiful display, great connectivity and the included S pen. No complaints on the device, but it will need more power to replace a laptop. If you are in the market for a solid tablet definitely pick this up.

Screen and comfortably
I mainly use the tablet for watching videos and reading books. The size of its prefect I can watch videos while cook and whenever I'm laying down it is not to heavy for long reading session. It's been a year since I got this tablet and it still work like new. Overall it's a great tablet to own would recommend to other.

Tab S8+ the ultimate Dad tablet!
Got a tab S8+ for my 40th birthday last May and it hasn't left my hands since.
I love using it for watching TV,Streaming or just watching a good podcast! I have 2 daughters 5 & 13 so we have a fair bit of noise or alot of people watching things so having my Tab S8+ gives me the ability to sneak away and watch the Fights or F1 when my wife is watching our bedroom TV and the kids are in the living room.
I also love using it for cooking. It helps with recipes and staying entertained while cooking ha!

really solid tablet
This tablet is an excellent size, with great functionality.
While the standard S8 has a good compact size and the Ultra has a very large screen that's perfect for gaming and videos, the Plus is an excellent mix of the two for a terrific viewing experience.
My only issue with this device would be battery life, as it feels like it goes down pretty easily with casual use, and for the size and version of this device should last a bit longer.

I use this for everything
For the last year I have been using this tablet now for everything. From work to pleasure to Reading Writing drawing. What a nice tablet!
After using an older model Galaxy Tablet for a few years, the newer Tab S8+ caught my eye. It was love at first sight. Everything is just right. The screen was the right size, the performance was stellar and the ability to run applications that were previously unable to was such a joy. I especially enjoyed the smooth transition from the S3 tablet to the my newer tablet. I have used this daily as my go to tool whenever I travel. Thank you Samsung.

I love this tablet
First of all, life upgrade. I bought this tablet a little over a year ago for the purpose of video calls when I travel, as well as streaming and photo editing. I use it almost as much as my phone and sometimes instead of my phone. It seamlessly communicates with my note20 ultra and has the phone's number as the working number, although it is registered under a separate one. I'm constantly finding and learning new features. This tablet has replaced my old laptop and has the power to run some more complex app games. The pen does charge magnetically on the back of the tablet, not inside the device as the phone pens do. It is therefore very important to have a case on it and one that has an accessible compartment to protect and store the pen. I don't really have anything bad to say! Solid choice if you're looking for a bigger screen tablet.

Powerful Tablet
I use this tablet daily for both work and personal use. The amount of apps I can have running simultaneously is great without the loss of speed I saw with my previous tablet. Highly responsive and a long lasting battery for all day use. Honestly was quite impressed by the quality of sound from the small speakers. While I dont use the Pen too often it performs perfectly when needed.

Samsung has stepped up Their Game
I got it just as a baby monitor and for video chats with family members. But I keep finding my self using it for everything. I don't even know where my laptop is.
It's very refined and honestly they're smartphones are as good as their tablet I might be trading my pixel in the next time I upgrade I just have to I was in the middle of doing something

Incredible tablet
I use my Tab S8+ to send Dex to my TV and display my security cams while I still game at full settings, watching incredible movies in full HD. Having 5G means I have a powerful computer anywhere. The included S pen is great for photo editing, movie making and of course art. I no longer need a PC.

Always choose Samsung
After months of looking at reviews I landed on the Samsung Galaxy tab s8 plus and don't regret it for a second. The screen quality is sharp and crisp with a high refresh rate. I was also blown away at the sound of the speakers since many reviews said it was tinee sounding but I've not experienced that at all, I hear good bass and treble balance for such tiny speakers it still blows me away how loud and clear the sound is.
I use the pen minimally but it helps keeping the screen clean while using the tablet. I also have used the tablet as a 2nd monitor with my laptop which also blew me away how easy it was to do. I couldn't recommend enough that someone should consider buying a Samsung tablet now or in the future.

I love the samsung dex and the s pen.
The stylist and tablet itself have always aught my attention. It makes for a seamless experience when using dex with the stylist or a blue tooth mouse. It's great for on the go work seeing as I'm usually in an office and I personally have preferred galaxy products for the last decade. To see the progess of the galaxy tab makes me kinda marvel at it.

This tablet is the best
I am a galaxy devices lover, this galaxy tab s8 is no exception. It is so fast and responsive. I used primarily for school. I takes notes with my s pen and, and it really feels great. There is no lag, it feels smother than writing on paper. I also use it to watch shows and movies. Battery lasts a lot. I also have the samsung keayboard that makes it a laptop when I need it.

Great tablet
It's very handy to have a tablet that you can just use the wifi part of it and be able to use apps like YouTube, VUDU, Amazon Video, Facebook, etc without having to have it on a line (a phone number attached to it)... just use it with your home wifi, when you want to be in another room and don't feel like using your laptop or TV. It has high quality video. It's easy to use and you can put just about any app on there that you want.

Strong Performer - No Issues
I use the device for casual surfing, games, and a supplemental video screen to catch shows when away from the TV.
Have had the tablet for 9 months now as of Aug 20 2023 and have had no issues with performance or use. Android and Samsung updates have been applied as needed and continues to keep this in top notch condition.
I fully expect to get 3+ years out of this with my casual use and past history with other tablets and believe this S8+ will deliver on this expectation.

This product has good features and a few drawbacks
This product has been great... mostly. The display has been phenomenal - except the constant 120hz. The battery has been decent, though, my previous Galaxy tab S4 had better standby time. The S pen has been useful in Photoshop and my photography. The rear cameras are as you expect in a tablet - near useless - besides the front camera. I bought this tablet on a sale, but with the few upgrades from the Tab S7+, I can't recommend this tablet with the price. If $100 cheaper - it would be a killer!

Enjoyable and Versatile! Ideal for Samsung Notes!
One of the main reasons I purchased the tablet was to use Samsung Notes. It excels at this. The display provides a vast canvas for notes and S Notes features like Lasso, Zoom, and resize make that canvas nearly infinite. With the addition of a kickstand case and wireless keyboard cover, the tablet becomes a versatile optimally ergonomic personal computer due to being able to place the keyboard and display wherever it is most comfortable. Add a wireless finger mouse and the maximally ergonomic setup is complete. Vertical display orientation is an underrated experience. Samsung internet looks amazing on this tablet and the multitasking features are really useful. It is defintely a productivity machine as well as an entertainment device.

Worth it and love it
This is by far the best tablet that I've bought. It's just the right size for me plus with all Its great features I can say that I love it. The display is so crisp and the color is the best. I also love the S pen which I think is the best S pen that I have used esp when using it to edit pictures, it is so smooth. Also the design of the tablet is slick. Overall, one of the best or maybe the best tablet out there.

Upgraded from Samsung Galaxy Tab8. Loved the Tab8 but really love my new S8+ 5g. Fast easy to use. Comfortable size/weight. Got more memory this time and it's awesome. Very happy, even at almost $1000. Would buy again.

Great For A Young Aspiring Student
The Samsung Tab S8+ is an amazing device for a young graphic design student like me. It has a great display, which is perfect for viewing and creating art. The battery life is also exceptional, lasting me through the entire school day without needing to charge. The stylus is very responsive, making it easy to sketch and draw with precision.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this device to anyone looking for a reliable tablet for art and other content. I chose the Samsung Tab S8+ over an iPad because it has features that cater specifically to my needs as an artist. I'm glad I picked the Samsung Tab S8+ for my art needs.
And surprisingly, it's great for gaming too. With the large display, I can enjoy all my favorite games in a way that I can't on my phone. Something about playing everything on a big screen is fun to me haha. The sound and graphics are great too, so I can really immerse myself in the "gaming experience". I didn't know it had Dolby Sound. The four speakers makes it a good listening device as well.
The pen acts like a real pencil, and Clip Studio works so well on it. Though pricey, I know I'll be using this device for a long time and that I've gotten my money's worth for the most part.

This is great if you are part of the Android crowd
I'm a Samsung Galaxy user. So this offered great integration with my phone and watch. It may be less than ideal for somebody who uses another version of Android say Google or somebody who uses Apple products. However it is a great tablet in and of itself. I enjoy using the stylist the most.

Awesome tablet for work and everyday use
Tablet's great. I use the Samsung notes a lot for work to brainstorm and the pen writes great. I have yet to explore other features of the tablet such as pen gestures and stuff. But awesome for work and everyday use

Perfect Size and functionalities for a student
I used to have tab s6 lite which I thought was a very good size for a tablet for my use but when I got the s8 ultra, I was very impressed.
I mostly use it to read and take notes. The s pen is much better than the previous generated and the screen quality is also much better.
I also use the second screen feature with my galaxy book pro and it works like a charm!!!

the best tablet in its range
This tablet is the perfect size for viewing content, creating art and easy portability.
What I use it for the most is to create 2d art or for heavier tasks like 3d or editing it goes very well, and what I like the most is its medium size, it is perfect to carry it anywhere and still have good screen space to create.

Great screen and easily to travel with
I use my Tab s8 + 5g for my plumbing business. I take this tablet with me when I go to job sites where I use it to take pictures of completed plumbing remodels. The camera is able to capture all the small details in the room. Which helps when showing client's my portfolio. The display is plenty bright when working in bright conditions. The display has nice vivid colors so when it comes to picking out finishes which helps when picking out colors and details in an image of a product.

I use for my class and my masters classes. Keeping everything in 9ne p,ace a d being able to write it out is the most convenience. The speed never lags. I've even used it for kahoots and more.

I was looking something similar to a laptop. This was even better for its ability to carry around. Also have service to the device so I don't have to worry about connecting to a network. Itsbalso good I can answer calls and text on it. Like a laptop and my mobile all in one
