More than a large version of my phone
I initially bought it because of a sale. I didn't think much of it more than just a larger screen to watch videos. It is a great screen to watch videos but I've learned it's great for so much more. I have incorporated it into my work setup as a dual screen. I hook it up to my TV and use Dex as well.
I highly recommend this one.

Great for Travel and Play
I purchased my S8 tablet for work purposes. Being able to use the tablet as a second monitor makes my life easier. I also use it to play my Xbox Game Pass through the cloud and it is awesome. I highly recommend you get this tablet for better productivity and play.

In my opinion the galaxy s8+ is the best tablet for gaming, browsing the web and media consumption. The size isn't to big and not heavy making it very portable for on the run. If I had to ask for any improvement it would be a longer lasting battery. This also has great keyboard and mouse support making it an excellent laptop replacement. The screen and Atmos speakers take movies and gaming to the next level. Just buy it, you will not regret it.

S8+, the best of S8 and S8 Ultra
I am new to tablets, but an avid PC user. I wanted something larger then my samsung phone to take notes and do most of the addition mobile work I would try to do from my phone. The S8+ seems like the perfect fit. This isn't a PC or laptop replacement when it comes to programming or games, but it is proving to be a great digital notepad with many extras.
This model has many of the improvements the Ultra has in a more manageable package and a less hefty price tag.

Amazing tablet with multiple purposes
I love my tablet! I use it for personal and business, usually at the same time! I love how there can be two apps opened at one time, so I can have my music player open and my art application open side by side. The stylus S pen is fantastic and makes me feel like a wizard with its air gestures. There is a Dex mode as well that allows you to have a laptop look, allowing windows for multiple apps. It's great! Huge! And if you're an artist, you will love the refresh rate as you draw on the screen!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ is a great tablet!
I use the S8+ almost daily to read or view news stories, stream videos, online shop, bill pay and read email. It's fast and responsive and the AMOLED screen is stellar, with great video quality and speakers. I find the 12.4" display size perfect for me. Battery life is exceptional, I can go days without recharging, but when you need to recharge it does so quickly. It's a great tablet!

Outstanding Product
I use my S8+ daily to review emails, and handle day to day business, I love the graphics, speed and usability of this tablet. I had am s2 and an s5, but this with the large screen and I love the ability to be able to do multiple things at once qith no lag in productivity. Even connecting to other clients wifi or mobile Hotspot is a breeze. I like the fact I xan connect to my phone with ease and being able to make calls and even the video calls qhen needed are outstanding. Samsung really stepped up the game on this 9ne. My Grandson ususe it for a few of his games and he lives the graphics, the 4 speakers are excellent while gaming or plating music

Everything I want in a tablet plus
The tab S8+ is a great tablet for just about any type of work load. I game at the highest settings with 120hz refresh rates. I draw with the included S pen and keep track of all my expenses and hobbies. When it comes to watching videos or listening to music the tab S8 can't be out done.

The perfect compromise
I use this as a general productivity device but occasionally for entertainment too. I recently took it on a two week business trip to Europe and India. I lugged along my laptop too but never booted it, the tablet (with book cover keyboard) did everything and the 5G connection means I am never disconnected. The screen is about the right size, big enough for real work without sacrificing portability.

Great features - screen kinda bulky
The features on this tablet are great. The picture, sound and resolution are top notch. As someone who used an IPAD Mini for gaming, etc. I do find this tablet a little on the bulky side.
I also purchased the keyboard which I am luke warm on. The functionality leaves something to be desired.
Overall this was a good purchase. If I could rewind time I would probably get the apple product instead but that should not be a reason to not get this if you support android.

The Galaxy Tab S8+ has really blown me away with it's overall performance, the screens clarity, the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, the speakers that gives a superior 3D sound. The only downside is I wish it would have come with the keyboard, but it wouldn't keep me from purchasing it again.

I mostly use my tablet for watching movies or playing games. This, by far, is the best one I've had. The screen is the perfect size and is crystal clear. The sound is even good for a tablet! It charges quickly and hold a charge for a long time. I enjoy using the S-pen to write notes and not have to tap a keyboard.

This is the prefect tablet for me. The screen is incredible and the performance is just fantastic. I've had it over 6 months now and it is as snappy as day 1, along with the many additional apps I've installed. The pen is a bonus in my mind. The audio wowed me with the first song. I no longer bring a Bluetooth speaker with me when I travel!
The Samsung software is a great companion and brings a number of nice features on top of Android.
Having purchased 128GB S8+ model , I added a 256GB SDCard for my music.
Usage: music, drawing, reading, browsing (reddit, Twitter, web, etc.), games, video streaming, photo editing.

Excellent laptop replacement
If you have a desktop PC and you want something lighter than a laptop with great battery life and functionality, this is the one.
When I bought the s8+ I was worried I might not use it enough but I use it daily. It's perfect for me. I can use it like a laptop with dex, I can use it like a tablet, I can use it as a second monitor to watch/listen to things while I play games. It's great for taking notes. This tablet continues to surprise me.

Love the Samsung S8+
Use my tablet every day!
Perfect size not too big not too small!
Being self-employed, I do a lot of research on the road and connecting with customers so using advanced features like s pen, side keys, motion and gestures and screenshots, etc. help keep all my information organized and available at any time.
During my down/ relaxing time I stream videos and movies. The videos/movies are crystal clear and I have no problem streaming media. The screen size on the Samsung S8+ is the perfect size for watching videos.
Very happy with the Samsung S8+ and I would highly recommend it to anybody who's in the market for a tablet.

Great tablet
This is my 2nd Samsung table. My previous tablet was from 2013 and still working fine. I was wanting a larger tablet and since that old one was still going strong after 10 years, I stuck with Samsung.
The S8+ is fast, great resolution, sturdy feel and well worth it. I really like the 11.4" size and I am very satisfied with it.

An all around amazing product!
This is the first samsung tablet I've ever owned, but I've been a user of Samsung products for a while and I've always appreciated the quality of the products.
The S8+ has incredible clarity and responsiveness. There's no lag when moving from screen to screen and apps pull up instantaneously.
I also own the keyboard cover for the S8+ and it works just as phenomenally as the tablet itself. It serves almost in the same capacity as a laptop/netbook, just lighter weight and faster than a basic laptop.
I also very much appreciate being able to seamlessly screen share to my Samsung TV, a feature that keeps me coming back to Samsung products.

Work flow machine!
This product does anything I throw at it. From watching media on its stunning amoled display, or searching the web at the same time with its multitasking features! Which makes my work life a breeze when ordering products for my company trying to view multiple sites at the same time. And then using it for my creative side is so much fun. As a musician, being able to run recording software on this tablet as well as create or edit band photos or content is incredible!

Great Screen with Great Features
I use the tablet mostly for school, the pen is really useful for making digital notes. The oled screen is very nice for watching videos and movies. The size of the screen is also perfect; it isn't so big that its cumbersome but it is big enough where its basically like writing on a piece of paper. You can also use it as a laptop essentially if you sset it to DEX mode and use a keyboard.

It's just a great Tablet
Overall the experience is amazing, fluid and once you make it fit you it's actually really good. You can maximize it to how you use it using routines and accessory apps and settings.
It's also not a laptop, it's advertised to you often with a keyboard, but a lot of apps don't work properly or at all, some Google doc shortcuts don't apply, the Gmail/Google services interface doesn't offer you as many options as if you were on a laptop even in Google dex. But it is good at being at tablet. And I think that's fine to be honest everything doesn't have to be everything yk?
If you're an art student or a student in general the table will come in handy. I struggled then gave up transferring how I take notes from on paper to taking notes on the tablet even though the writing technology is phenomenal. OH AND IT DOESNT COME WITH THE CASE BTW YOU HAVE TO BUY THE KEYBOARD FOR ANOTHER 300 DOLLARS

It works really good and I love the color!
I had gotten this tablet because I'm a student and I need something to take my notes on but wasn't too heavy like a laptop. So when I was exploring my options I came across the galaxy tab series and I really liked the cool features that the Spen brings. It works really well and I also really enjoy watching videos and even playing games on it. The screen is really nice and big and the colors look really cool. I was also really glad that it came in different colors. Overall I love my galaxy tablet and I will keep buying Samsung products in the future!

I use my S8+ for everything! Gaming, streaming, photo editing and everything in-between. I always find it hard to commit to a desktop or laptop so this is perfect for someone like me. It creates a lot of flexibility. The display is unmatched in a tablet and even the speakers sound incredible. This might be the best product I've purchased.

Perfect size, excellent writing
I mainly use it to write notes, to read pdf and basically as a personal note/media center. I do a lot of journal paper readings, and the size and S pen feature of Galaxy S8+ make it easy to download, read, and make notes on the pdf files. It has helped my research tremendously. I can also use it to take a break once in a while and enjoy some YouTube clips to take my mind off work. I just love it!

As a photographer, I love bringing my Galaxy Tab s8+ to shoots to show my clients some on the spot sneak peeks and do some on-the-go editing. My Galaxy tab easily handles huge files and editing software and the screen really helps show off my photos. From answering emails to relaxing with some Netflix, the Galaxy tab series 8 handles everything with ease and looks great while doing it! I couldn't recommend it more.

Amazing quality
I have absolutely loved my tab s8+ since the day I bought it. I am a professional musician and I use my tablet everyday for reading music, taking notes, and watching videos. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it for the first time. The weight is very nice and you can tell that it's made with premium materials.
The pen has also been an amazing feature. It's the perfect size, and I love how it feels as it glides across the screen. It feels so real! The button is very accessible and the gestures are extremely useful.
Some extra features I love are the 120 hz screen. WORTH IT! I have a hard time looking at any other screen that doesn't have that. I also appreciate how loud the speakers are!
The only things I would want to see in later models is a better vibration motor. You can feel the individual vibrations from being so slow, and it makes it feel fake. I also would like to be able to charge my pen on the side of the tablet and not just the back.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the tab s8+, and I always suggest it to my friends who are looking for a tablet. I've had many people come up to me and day that they'd ditch their iPad for a tablet like this.

I upgraded from the Galaxy Tab S7. So far I'm really enjoying the Galaxy Tab S8+. Very impressed with the responsiveness of the S pen. The screen is phenomenal. I purchased the pink gold. I was disappointed that the S Pen did not come in the same color as the tablet as they did with the S7 series. The black S Pen is really easy to mix in with other pins. It doesn't stand out. I've misplaced it once already. Would really have enjoyed it better if it had come in the same color as the tablet. It would have been easier to see and find, if not the same color at least two-toned. Maybe some portion of the pen could have been in the same color as the tablet to help it stand out.

Minor upgrade, still a great tablet!
I had a Tab S7+. There was an issue with the power button, so I exchanged it for this one. So far so good. If the same or similar issue developed I'll be annoyed.
Great screen. Very responsive. It runs One UI 4.1 BUT there are no smart widgets. IMO, a tablet is an ideal use for smart widgets

I was an owner of a tab S7 Plus I bought the Galaxy tab S8 Plus cuz I already had the keyboard and it would fit but I wish I got the larger model because I watch a lot of content if you have the tab S7 series don't upgrade unless you get the ultra model same thing with the watch

Great Form Factor, Some UX Issues
I bought this primarily for reading documents and writing notes and the screen aspect ratio and size is great for that. I do find myself doing unintuitive things like trying to tap Delete on the Samsung Touch Keyboard because it's where the Backspace key should be. Also, finding and changing settings is kinda cumbersome so I've yet to get it fully setup the way I would like.

Poor battery life
I upgraded from the S7+ to the S8+ and there is noticeably shorter battery life for my S8+. Performance and functionality are very good but spend a lot of time hooked to the charger.

Bought this and an S7 FE at the same time. They both have the same the same size screen, And I don't see a ton of difference in the screen quality (they're both fantastic). But I can't say the processor is significantly faster than the S8+.
Things load much faster and and there's almost no lag when things get busy. I'm using this for playing apps such as star trek fleet command roblox and Minecraft. For all 3 it's noticeably faster to load and when making transitions. I would say it's a tugh call when you can get 2 of the S7 FEs for the price of one S8+ when the S7FE can do everything, just a little slower.

Ever since i got it i can't put it down. I originally bought this for video editing. I love how fast it is, so many features. I love the 3 app split screen (talk about multitasking at its best). I love how it came with a built in adult coloring book for relaxing. I can even play FORNITE perfectly- colors amazing & no lag. Battery life is normal. Mine doesn't drain fast or nothing because i don't have my brightness up & i put it on "dark mode" aswell to preserve battery & still looks great. Volume is great & loud. Don't listen to other ppl complaining about poor battery because nobody knows what setting or what they were doing? I use mine all day & it's decent. I don't leave multiple apps open nor running in the background. I love how you can use it like a laptop too with Samsung "dex". I'm still learning & discovering knew features everyday.

I was looking something similar to a laptop. This was even better for its ability to carry around. Also have service to the device so I don't have to worry about connecting to a network. Itsbalso good I can answer calls and text on it. Like a laptop and my mobile all in one

Well I love my Galaxy s22 ultra the Galaxy tab S8+ takes my multimedia experience to an incredibly high level I never thought anything looked so good. There is a slight learning curve because there's different options compared to the phone but not money and I've always bought Samsung so I know my way around. I've had several tablets in the past but nothing compares to the speed power and display of this tablet.

Great tablet for the technologically challenged
A great upgrade for my wife who loved the Tab S6 for overall ease of use, but needed something just a little larger. Loves the rose color and matching cover.
She loves to shop and browse, and OneUI 5's support of apps at the bottom of the screen makes it fast and easy to access them. BRILLIANT!
Fantastic battery life. 4 years of support and a very solid device.

Creme of the crop of tablets!
I am a real power user. You name it I probably do it on this tablet. I edit small videos, watch Netflix and hulu, plus play games and more. I bought a keyboard case for it and it makes text mode so much better. Though I do have a MacBook I prefer taking this with me due to the simple fact of the abilities that it has and also that is a lot easier to carry around. I forgot to mention I love drawing on here also I do small graphic design projects on the go as well. Power , beauty and performance! 10 out 10. If your on the fence, don't be. Go get one.

I use this tablet daily for work and play. It's an extension of my s22 ultra and I rarely turn on a desktop computer because I have this tablet. My only gripe is I wish I spent a little more for the ultra.

I use my tablet to do my language learning. The spilt screen is great because I can have open the homework and right beside it, I can see the translation. It makes things so much easier.
I also enjoy the smoothness of the S pen. It feels like writing with a normal pen

This tablet is almost perfect!
There's no doubt that I love this tablet. I use it for college and the military and it comes in handy. The only issue I would have is that the pen seems to have issues with connectivity. I thought it may just be mine but I have a friend who is having the same issue. It still does what I need it to do and more though.

Amazing Tablet
I bought this tablet expecting expecting generic ipad-like device, but it's ended up being so much more. Dex is incredibly useful for short productivity sessions on the go, and the OLED display looks phenomenal on the natural color setting. The snapdragon 8 gen 1 performs well, though battery life isn't incredible but it's by no means bad. Overall it's an easy recommendation from me.

I love my Samsung Tab 8+. The tablet is light weight and fast enough for my needs. I removed one star for just a few annoyances- the pen (which is excellent) detaches easily from the device and the lack of available Galaxy store content. It would be nice if themes, wallpapers, and icons where available for the tablets.

An absolute iPad killer!
I picked up this Tab S8 Plus about a week ago. Keep in mind, this is after owning pretty much every iPad Pro up to this date and the regular iPad as well. The screen is phenomenal, images absolutely beautiful and it feels very well made. The OS is fast with no noticeable lag, camera is beautiful and the S Pen works amazingly. I doubt I will ever use another iPad after owning this, Samsung is my new go-to for tablets. Bye Apple!

This is a great all around tablet. It handles everything I would need to handle on a day to day basis without a hiccup. I can be productive and work on my tablet and play games alike. Compared to the Apple alternative, there are software work around features for app scaling issues. I would reccommend the galaxy tab S8+ to anyone.

Amazing product with many productivity features!
I bought this tablet for school work and taking detailed notes for my research. The tablet has many features that have made my workflow more productive. Seamless clipboard syncing across devices, the ease of Samsung Notes and OneNote syncing, Dex so I don't have to carry my laptop everywhere for remote access to my workstation, and a great display for movie watching when I'm on a long flight are just a few of the reasons I love this tablet.

Perfect addition to my Samsung devices
My tablet makes for a great travel companion versus taking my laptop on the go. I can work or use it to connect when away from work on vacation. Originally I bought the tablet to use as a laptop for business only but soon realized the clarity of the screen and mobility of it was too good not to use it for leisure. It is now the number one device I carry at home to use for watching videos, researching random things, and playing games on it. I have tablets to supplement phones. For times when I need a more portable larger screen. I don't use it in home that much but usually for travel and outside use. I've had many s series tablets and each one is always an improvement on the last. Blazing fast. Does nearly everything a phone does bigger. Best screens in the business period hands down. Best android tablets ever made. Wish you had the ultra version on more carriers as I always get cellular model.

Overall a great product: responsive, fast, excellent screen quality. Keyboard and pen work very well too. The rotation feature has sometimes some issues and the battery is drained relatively fast. But it's great to work on minor things on the go.

This tablet is amazing. From the speed to video quality. With this tablet i can now fly without my laptop (not a samsung laptop) and just use Samsung Dex on my Tab S8+ combined with my Samsung Keyboard Book Cover and its basically a Laptop. Lighter than my laptop too! Its perfect for editing videos or photos, drawing, playing, watching movies or shows. Really great tablet for the money
I bought this Tab S8+ to replace my Tab S6 the differance is Night and Day, this is a much smoother Tablet with alot larger screen. The UI is much smoother and Android 12L makes a huge differance it's a much better exsperiance now That the OS is designed for tablets.
Samsung has the best tablets on Android Samsung pays attention to detail, over time it gets better and better.
Very happy with my purchase, I bought 2 of them 1 for me and my Wife.
They play all the games from the play store and galaxy store with no problems.
Battery life is great for a tablet, Samsung is updating this a let all the time, just got Android 13L today 12/05/22,so far so good no bugs of any kind yet.
Now does this compete with the ipad not quite and no Apple fan either so to be fair it's good but won't beat it yet down the road maybe only time will tell.
If your looking for a great Android Tablet this is the one to get, do you need the s8+ that's all upto you, do you need the Ulta No this one or the plain S8 will be the right fit for most people in general, it's a great exsperiance for the money.

I've had this tablet about a month and I don't use anything else anymore, I love this thing. I can draw on it, do all my computing stuff for work and home. Messages, movies Facebook.. it's just awesome. It has a great screen quality and sound. The battery life lasts hours. I just love it.

Overall great tablet and great performance. AMOLED screen/image quality is amazing and why I bought this over the regular S8. However, larger 12.4 inch sized screen is great for watching videos/movies, it can be cumbersome when holding, typing, or for travel. Though it is more portable than a laptop, but 2 inches larger than the S6 lite, which I upgraded from.

I've had this tablet for about 6 months. I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the keyboard case along with it, it makes using it for work a breeze. I've had and used plenty of inexpensive tablets and I feel they work well for a couple months and then die or slow down. I feel like I'll be able to get years out of this one. I've always owned samsungs flagship phones, so I figured it was time for a flagship tablet.

Great Features, Best Tablet!
This device is good for note taking and be creative with it such us adding pictures to your notes whichI really like about, it makes it easier to retain information.
I also like the fact that you can convert the PowerPoint slides into a note file. Turning each slide into a page and doesn't get mixed up with the other slides.
Dex Mode is my favorite. It acts like a computer in which you can open multiple apps and multitask or open a browser and open multiple tabs and easily navigate them like you would in a computer.
The quality of the camera is great as well. Great for zoom calls.
It is also good for creating art with the painting, sketching, and drawing app.
Overall awesome product for daily use. Very handy and the battery lasts all day with heavy use!

The tablet I think is better than the ultra
The s8+ is a piece of tech I waited for and waited for, i did alot of research and reading I bought a s7 fe first and when I had the opportunity tobsee the graphics the sound and the perfectly balanced media capabilities, I had to have it, now the ultra us a fine chunk of tech but I don't do that much to need that monster, gaming streaming or downloaded movies TV music it looks great sounds great and after months of pushing it it hasn't failed me once. As off as it sounds sansung even put some useful stuff on it that I use , it just doesn't disappoint. I also bought a book 2 360 chrome book..the s8+ smokes it to a point I don't even use it anymore except to collect the s8+'s dust. Accessories I find wanting...aftermarket handles that easy enough.

I love this tablets features!
I use my tablet to take notes and do a lot of studying on it. I love that it is so easy to do a split screen so I can be taking notes on one side, while reading.
I also use the tablet to stream movies and shows and I love the screen, the sound is also great and the tablet is so fast! It was also so easy to move my information to the new tablet I am very happy I decided on this model.

Everything I needed
This device was everything I needed for work and play. It's blistering fast thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 16GB ram. The battery life is amazing, coming in with its 10090 mAh battery that can last several days on standby without a charge. Having the S Pen and being able to fill out PDF files is extremely convenient. It's a media powerhouse with its bright, crisp 12.4" SAMOLED display and 4 Dolby Atmos speakers that really put out impressive virtual surround sound for its compact size. Being able to switch into DEX Mode and get work done with a more conventional desktop UI experience is one of things that impressed me most about this device compared to other brands' offerings. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and will be sticking with the Galaxy Tab S series for a while!

Okay so this is an amazing tablet. Big but light. Make sure you get a screen protector and a case because you'll want to keep this for a long time. The display is beautiful. S pen I'm still getting used to. It is bigger than the one that came with the phones. Over all it's a really nice tablet. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

Best Android tablet if budget allows
I recently upgraded from Tab S7 to Tab S8+ and am very happy about the Tab S8+
First and foremost, you must buy the keyboard cover (the more expensive one), not the cheaper "keyboard cover slim". Without this keyboard and builtin track pad, you cannot unleash the tablet's full potential. This is almost a laptop replacement. But it also makes it super expensive.
Pros:
Excellent OLED screen
Screen size is perfect balance between usability and portability
Speakers are loud and good
Battery life is sufficient (though S7 is better)
Excellent keyboard cover
Great integration with samsung phone and laptop
Cons:
VERY expensive (together with keyboard cover)
No docking station (plugging and unplugging charger is so primitive)
No 3.5mm audio jack
Cannot recognize card slot of USB hub (software bug causing tablet built-in card slot overriding cardslot of external USB hub)

I use my tablet daily to watch movies, do a little shopping, homework, but most of all play games. It is so convenient for me to use for my other daily activities because I have about 7 different alarms set on here to let me know when I have different tasks to get done throughout the day (between playing games of course). But overall it's the convenience and organization that it gives me.

I use my tablet pretty exclusively at the house instead of my phone. (I have a Galaxy S10 phone) I use it for things as simple as browsing social media, to using DEX in conjunction with my laptop to get work done. I love it for watching videos and streaming and sometimes prefer it over using my TV. The only issue I have is the color doesn't seem as vibrant when I'm streaming something in 4k, like on YouTube TV for example. If i select a 4K sporting event for example, it's clear, I just feel the colors show up dimmer. Also, I love the S Pen. I just wish it had more functionality still. I use it to write, but I mostly use it to navigate the device via gestures. I don't like having fingerprints all over the screen so the S pen is great for mitigating that. The more I'll be able to use the S pen as a true remote, the better. I don't use it as much for drawing.

This has awesome features
I use this device for all my membership input into Excel, I play games on it and they are easier to play than my phone. The memory is very good and I love touchscreen along with keyboard I added to it. Definitely worth the price.

Outstanding display and sound
I use my tablet every day. I either play the basic relaxing game to action and I can up the settings to the highest speed and never have lag or shutter. The movies are great with this device. Clear and no lag. The built in speakers are of the highest quality.
I love Samsung. I have had several tablets and this S8+ is by far the best. I no longer own a computer with this tablet screen size and speed there is nothing it can't do in my opinion.

First thing call you atention it the display quality. Specially black.
It feels robust, but I put a cover anyway. The sound is great, you can even use it to put music when you work.
Battery, several days for office use. If I see videos or use it for zoom It would have enough battery for the whole day.
My next buy will be the magnetic keyboard looking for a discount because it's expensive.
This is the right screen size. I would use my notebook/desktop if I need a bigger screen.

I use my tablet for my on the go computer (MacBook). It handles everything that I do with no problem, I edit pictures for my photography side hustle, general administrative activities, streaming, schedules, etc.... it hasn't given me any problems!

Definitely a luxury tablet
Upgrading from my tab s6, I would say it'd definitely amazing. The screen is beautiful and digital art is way better on this bigger screen. I absolutely love that the case isn't a stupid sticker and can easily be removed for cleaning. The keyboard is amazing and a mouse connected makes this the perfect companion device when you don't need the power of a pc. The only thing i would change personally is the stand. It has a flimsy faux leather edge and is definitely a downgrade from the s6 and it's solid protected edge.

I mainly use my tablet for streaming games, shows, and drawing. Due to its amazing speed, power, and size, I am able to do virtually any thing on it. It has an amazing screen resolution when it comes to watching my favorite shows and movies. Its power and battery life esures that gaming could last for hours on a single charge.And dont even get me started on the pen. It is just as usefull on the tablet, as it is on the famous Samsung Galaxy S22 and 23 ultra. I am able to take hands free selfies, take notes, draw, and control my videos. Overall, I love my Tab s8+ its the perfect device for samsung users.

Works as expected. Pen needs added functionality
I use my tablet as a backup to my S7 Ultra and for "basic" internet usage. Blue tooth and physical connectivity to my S7 Ultra, is seamless and fast; truly plug and Play. WiFi connectivity is flawless. The dual speakers provide excellent sound reproduction throughout their sound level capabilities, supporting high and low notes from blues to rock to opera without distortion.
Human to machine interface is stuck at voice, (with all the attendant early 21st century clumsiness), and a good start at using a pen as input device.
Voice input editing requires coming out of voice by touching the screen, or hitting a keyboard button, while use of the pen for input into a form, such as this, is not supported at all. Occasionally voice to text arbitrarily capitalizes some words. When AI gets to be real, maybe we will be able to intersperse commands (and punction) with text.
That said, the above faults represent the state of the art of publicly available human-machine interface. Currently noo publicly available machine does better.
In a zoom session, you will wish your selfie to be "closer", while maintaining the realization of others on the call. Unfortunately, you cannot pinch to zoom the "selfie"/forward facing camera, so that to others on the zoom call, you appear closer to the screen. That is a major design specification/fault.
The screen is bright and easily dimmed to easily accommodate background lighting. Color faithfulness are typical of all Samsung devices.

I have been with samsung for a long time and had several tablets, none come close to this tablet. The size is perfect the resolution is amazing for gaming and streaming. Dex is a must a m d with multi screen this can handle my day to day work load and last all day long with no issue. Will be very hard for samsung to top this unit

Not much choices when it comes to premium android tablets. Traded my tab s6 for the ultra. Love everything about it besides the weight, handles media so well but too big so switched to the s8+ instead. Great for most things, dex is great too but multi tasking with words/excel still lacking compared to windows.

Useful and quick device, pen is fun
I use this mainly to surf the web, check social media, and watch streaming services. It handles all of these like a champ. No complaints about the device
I got the Samsung brand keyboard designed for the device, and it's mostly fine but it has a weak backspace button, so only a strong press registers, but that's not the tablet's fault.

As an owner of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 for a year, I can confidently say it's a great tablet. The 14.4-inch Super AMOLED display is stunning, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor provides fast and responsive performance. Samsung provides the easiest set up that is seamless. The user interface is gorgeous along with it's display. I found streaming to be better than my phone. I am living for a full sized stylus.

Ideal travel companion
I recently completed a two week business trip to Europe and India. I hauled along my laptop but never booted it. Between taking notes, answering mails, reviewing documents, working on spreadsheets and presentations, and reading books I used only my s8+ (with book cover keyboard). My cellular plan includes global data so I didn't even have to look for wifi. Next time I won't even bother with the laptop!

Recently upgraded from the Tab 6 Lite and its a huge change. I like the enhancements and the screen real-estate.
When in landscape mode the layout changes to one that mimics a desktop, which is a nice touch if you like toggle between apps that way.
It's also nice to be able to send things back and forth from phone to tablet to pc and vice versa.
Customization wise I can do just about the same things with my phone which I love. For me being able to customize even the smallest things makes a difference.
I do wish it could play some games better, but I didn't exactly buy it to game on.
Note taking and multitasking is really nice on this particular tablet mostly because I now have the space and tools to do so. And with the recent one ui update things have gotten better as well.
Overall I'm very pleased with my experience on the Tab series.

Exceeded my expectations
Bought it hoping it could use it in an emergency to handle work requests when I didn't have my laptop or when using it would be difficult. It has exceeded my expectations! It can take on some difficult spreadsheets and is large enough to see them well. Although theoretically possible on a phone, this is not practical. Great device!

A Great Multitasking Tablet
First off I want to say that I did not expect the size of this tablet. I saw the specs but coming from a Galaxy tab s6 it threw me for a loop for how big it was. I'm not complaining because it actually comes in handy due to the excellent multi-tasking functionality. One of the main reasons why I use this tablet is to browse articles, social media or videos. With this tablet I'm able to do two or three of these things at the same time. I can even be on a web conferencing call while taking notes using Samsung notes.
The speed of this tablet is also excellent. It has to be if it wants to handle running two or three apps at the same time. And also allows me to stream Xbox games directly to my tablet seamlessly.
The expandable storage is also a plus. I can download all kinds of videos books or whatever to my tablet without worrying about running it out of space. It is very useful when taking long trips.
I also want to say that Samsung Dex is pretty useful. If I ever want to move up to the big screen I can very easily without worrying about transferring files to a different computer. My only issue with it is that it could be easier to switch between sounds coming from the tablet or the USB-C connection.
Overall this is a great tablet for tablet lovers and those who multitask.

I would recommend to improve tablets case so it has better protection and aslo supports the keyboard usage and the vertical handle modes when needed.

Does Exactly What I need It To
The Tab 8+ is the perfect size, and paired with last year's keyboard cover (that covers the pen, and allows the keyboard to detach from the kickstand), and Samsung Dex, it's a fabulous laptop replacement when I travel.
The screensize allows the keyboard to be big enough to not be cramped feeling, yet it's still small enough for me to hold in one hand and write notes with the other.
I love that it integrates perfectly with my S22 Ultra, and my Buds 2 Pro's. I can easily send and receive texts, and if I'm watching media on my tablet, and my phone rings, my media is paused and the buds automatically switch to my phone.
Honestly, the device is just a perfect tool. Its flexibility is so useful. Within a day, I can attach it to the keyboard and using Samsung Dex, I can do a quick morning check of my emails. As it works seamlessly with the Microsoft office suite my employer uses, I can create or edit files as needed. Then as I jump into meetings, I can take notes, continuing with the keyboard and Dex, or, take the keyboard off, then it to a portrait orientation and write notes by hand. The forward facing camera is great fir a Team's meeting, and I can use the pen to collaborate with my colleagues using the Teams whiteboard.
Out of work, I pop off the keyboard and enjoy the gorgeous display as I watch streaming movies, and can easily transfer photos from my phone to edit them on the larger screen.
It might be the most useful piece of technology that I've ever purchased.

Perfect size, perfect performance
If you're looking for something to take out with you, I'd go with the standard S8. The S8+ is perfect for around the house. It does a great job supplementing my level of productivity at work. I prop this up next to my work monitors and use it for slack and every other functions.

A great tablet at a great price
I use my S8+ as a means to browse the internet, watch videos, and store movies for viewing during vacations.
I recently upgraded from an S5. The new S8+ is faster, larger, and has a better overall experience for viewing movies.
I have been a loyal Samsung owner for over 7 years and have enjoyed the connectivity between the tablet and the phone, as well as the ability to transfer video playback from mobile to my TV.
I would be hard pressed to choose any other brand over Samsung.

A much needed upgrade
I upgraded from the tab s6 to the s8+ and you can really see the difference. The sound quality is amazing, I never need to use full sound. The display is amazing especially when watching Netflix, hbomax, etc. I love that I can customize everything to my own aesthetic. I can send things easily to and from my zflip. The pen is also very nice with the gestures and everything, I also think that the black pen looks more aestheticy pleasing. Overall this tablet was a great purchase especially since I could trade my old one in. I use it every single day.

So I use my tabs8+ as a laptop replacement when I'm on the go. I have a mobile plan on it so anywhere I go I can work. I use it to remote access my company so I can write quotes , bill , and look up customer Information while in the field. I also use it for media consumption.
My favorite features are the s reen for one. It's so beautiful. It operates pretty fast so the is no lagging. I like how my samsung notes connect through all my samsung devices. Having the stylus ready whenever I need is awsome. The keyboard case makes it a great laptop replacement. And when my kids ask I use to play alittle fortnite with them. All in all it handles everything I need to do. Great tablet/ laptop.

Galaxy tab s8+ great media device
I use my galaxy tab s8+ mostly for media consumption, streaming movies and watching videos online. It excels in picture quality, I find myself using it for the OLED screen more often than living room TV. Can get very bright, I never need to have it more than 50%. The speakers are quite loud and comes from both sides of the tablet when placed horizontally which makes it very convenient. Battery life is reliable, even when it's below 50% I know I have hours left before I have to plug in.
Construction is very strong, I have 0 worries about the tablet body being damaged. It took 1 nasty fall before I put a case on it, and other than some minor scuffing on the corner it functions just fine. After about a year of use the screen still seems to be in perfect condition.
Overall it does it's job as a media device perfectly. Love the display quality.

It's an absolutely gorgeous device
I've owned several iPads, as well as older Galaxy and Fire tablets. This tablet is the most impressive electronic I've owned. I opted for the 5G model through AT&T, and I'm happy I did. Combining the speed/power of the tablet with the mobility of a 56 network makes it something I'll find reasons to bring it along with me. After adding the Samsung Keyboard cover I lost most reasons to pull out my laptop. On top of the beautiful display, fast response times, and U.I.5 you add in the S Pen. I can not recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ more.

I have really enjoyed the S8+. Prior to this tablet I wasn't happy with the Android offerings so I used an iPad. This tablet changes it all.
The pen is much more usable than an Apple pencil. More usability as more apps utilize the pen. Samsung built in pen functionality makes it a game changer.
The overall speed is very fast and responsive. No waiting on this bad boy.
I use for business while doing note taking or writing up invoices. As well as general browsing and app use.

Overall a Good Tablet
So far I'm having so much Fun with the Spen, however a period is hard for it to put when writing to text. I bought this Tablet for school to take notes and of course have fun w/the colors and templates, however for my school email I can't View them like I do on my laptop which means I still have to have my laptop close by because I guess Software issues? Cameras for sure is not the best quality but it's still good. Love the fact that I can have multiple apps on one screen.I do notice on certain streaming chanels it's not as crisp as my phone, but the sound is great. I have not messed with second screen useage w/ my laptop but I'm sure it works great & this tab is a good size for it.

A Beastly Multi-tasking Tool
There simply isn't a better way to write notes than on this thing. While there are a few features I'd like to see added to Samung Notes, there really hasn't been a situation in class where this thing has failed me. If I want to type my notes, I have the proprietary keyboard to do just that. I have a lot of presentations to do in school, and it's pretty easy to navigate that when plugging it in to another display. I don't use Dex often, but honestly there's not much need of it. Since it is a tablet, it doesn't have proper support for time-saving apps like Zotero, which helps you with citing sources in essays swiftly, but the ability to have an attached audio recording with any lecture is tremendously handy. I'd atually love to see Samsung Notes instill an auto close captioning feature for the words my handwriting fails to catch up to, but the three microphones on the S8+ typically do a great job at accurately capturing the words of my professors to where I can make out what they're saying. Writing on pdfs is ridiculously handy as well, especially when there's a lot of research I need to get done when prepping for an essay. Not sure when these things will replace the need for laptops, but it's clear they're getting close.
