I love that the pen is INCLUDED and you don't have purchase separately unlike competitors. The speakers are very loud and I hardly ever use them above 80%. I also appreciate that the screen is now AMOLED on this smaller model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The "S" in Tab S9 must stand for Superb Being a happy owner of a Tab S7 I wasn't sure if I wanted to update to a Tab S9 but I couldn't pass on the trade-in offers. After receiving the S9 it was up and running with all my files and apps transferred in minutes with the Samsung Smart Switch app. The response of the S9 is snappier and the fingerprint sensor, now located on the screen, works flawlessly. The wi-fi connection is much more stable with the S9. The screen colors are vibrant and just pop. Watching videos, playing games, or just scrolling news is a joy. I use my desktop much less now that I have the powerful little tablet. The battery lasts me for days, I can't believe it either! It just a much more robust and satisfying experience using the S9. I also purchased a book cover at the same time. I first thought it was a little pricy but now I understand why. It is an engineering marvel designed as a two piece where the front and back attach separately. The front easily is removed or attached so it doesn't get dirty or wet folding under like the previous design. The back incorporates a fold out stand the supports the S9 in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, amazing. The back also has a snap in cover for the S-Pen which prevents the pen from getting knocked loose and lost. If you don't use the pen much, like me, the cover snaps off and the total book cover is thinner. I always liked the latest technology and my friends named me "Gadget Guy". I had a tab s8 and enjoyed working on it in college and taking notes with the s pen but the screen always left a bit to be desired when watching movies and shows in between classes. The tab s9 with its similarly sized Amoled 2x screen has totally changed the game surrounding the tablet space for students like me who like a smaller tablet that can be the main screen they use in their life! The addition of water resistance means that on rainy days I no longer have to worry about working outside or walking back from classes with my tablet! Congrats on another great iPad competitor, Samsung!

It's not so small that you can't type but just small enough to fit in a bag or purse. This is actually the second Samsung tablet I have bought I like them that much!

Have used it as a laptop replacement multiple times when I don't want to carry a heavy load. Pen works great and I've been able to find it with the android software too. I recommend this tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy that I upgraded to the S9 from the S7 tablet I was hesitant about upgrading from my S7 tablet to the S9. After reading comparison reviews, it peaked my interest to upgrade because of the faster processor, (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 -vs- Snapdragon 865+) , 8 gigs of RAM minimum (2 gigs more than the S7), 3 oz lighter, 12 MP front camera compared to the 8 MP's on the S7, a beautiful AMOLED display, all with dust and waterproofing. The battery is a bit longer lasting too. 8,400 -vs-8000 mAh. I traded in my S7 tablet for a very good refund price to put towards the cost of the S9 which helped to discount the new tablet by $350, as well as the keyboard cover added to the deal at no additional price! I couldn't resist this offer, especially with the zero percent financing through Samsung direct. So far, my S9 has been a great investment and I love using it.

But with galaxy tab s9 I am really happy now whe I use this tab s9 with Dex mode I don't need my laptop anymore This is so perfect for me I love my tab s9!!!

Seems to be a Samsung gimmick to sell cases and covers seperately. All Samusung products now seem to be made this way. -2 Too much bloatware preinstalled that cannot be uninstalled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 11-inch tablet for Android This device is wonderful! speedy, lightweight, and the S9 series fixed my biggest issue with the S8 by including the OLED screen on the 11-inch model. So much easier to read at night thanks to this screen, plus the in-display fingerprint sensor is so much nicer to use than the S8's sensor on the power button. The battery life has been fantastic, with quick charging topping it up fast. Been playing some games and emulators on this device, and it is very fast at handling whatever you want to throw at it. The device is also gorgeous in the new Beige color, and the fact you can still add a microSD card for additional storage means S9 much, thanks for keeping this around Samsung.

I use my Samsung galaxy tab s9 to surf the web, play games, as a computer with samsung dex, check my email, make my work schedule or use microsoft teams for conference calls and just about anything you can think of this will do it. I love setting up routines and they just run at specific times makes life much easier. If you are considering a tablet, This is full of features as well as snappy. Buy one you will not regret it!!!

The dex computer mode is so useful for work and other personal things that make things so much easier then in a regular tablet. The size of the screen is phenomenal. Definitely beats my daughter's iPhone. The style makes everything so much easier as well, and the fact it magnetized to the tablet, love it. I also got the slim keyboard which when working in dex makes this a laptop.

The various menus are user friendly and allow you to customize you S9 tablet for your own taste. This is definitely a full functional computer. I recommend buying a carry case to hold the tablet. You are in better control with a case. A screen protector is a must.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from S9 Tab Does Everything and More This is my first tablet and i bought it primarily because my phone is old and I wanted a better device to consume media. I use my s9 tab for browsing the internet, playing mobile games, and watching shows. The AMAZING screen and Dolby audio make all of those things a joy to do. The battery life is great and the tab charges extremely fast with quick charge. I find myself hardly using my phone for anything besides text and calls when I'm at home. The customization is what you would expect from a Samsung device (best in class imo). I was pleasently suprised to see that my S9 tab works great with my other Samsung devices including my watch, phone, TV, and ear buds. I can text from tab or cast my screen to the TV without any friction. This is one area my Samsung devices have disappointed a bit in the past compared to others, but the ecosystem has been pleasantly surprising this time around. The cherry on top for me has been the stylus support. I didn't really need an S Pen, but I'm glad I have one. There's something oddly satisfying about scrolling the web or playing a puzzle game with a stylus. I was worried about the screen being too big, but the stylus and split keyboard make screen use a non issue. My one wish for this device would be a more robust ecosystem for games. I wish I could play a few older games from Steam instead of just app store games mostly made for mobile. Overall, I love my s9 Tab. I was a little worried about price but imo it's been well worth it.

I find I use my windows computer less and less, the tablet has really replaced it. I still say that the Samsung tabs are better then the new Ipads, superior screen resolution, and ease of use.

This certainly fills that requirement. I use my S9 for email, general web browsing, investment research, social media, and occasional streaming. The screen brightness and resolution is fantastic and the battery life is perfectly adequate for all day use. I bought the latest and greatest expecting to get long term use and suspect that will happen. The size is great also. Not too large to be unwieldly.

I mainly use it for streaming purposes of running a scoring app for my daughter's softball team. I like the fact that I can split the screen to run the scoring app and show the stream at the same time. I have absolutely no complaints about this tablet. It's snappy, quick and the display is fantastic. When I'm not using it out on the softball fields, I'll watch movies at home with it. I won't mention the cameras which is probably the only con, but I didn't buy this thing to take pictures and if you did, you will be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tablet Works great for web browsing and light gaming. I didn't think I'd actually use the gaming hub but I ended up checking it out and it has a ton of free games. The camera is pretty good.. I don't really use it for anything other than testing but it was good for a tablet. The pen is really light, so if you're used to a Remarkable or even the Apple pencil.. it's probably going to feel really light. I know they make an upgraded version so maybe that's heavier. Not a huge deal but different. Writing with the pen is nice - not too much lag. I may have noticed a little lag once or twice but only when you get close to the edge, otherwise it's great. They make a cover thing that goes over the screen to give you a more paper-like feel (if you're used to the Remarkable). Overall great tablet.

The screen resolution is way better than before. The new UI is user friendly and I can get things done much faster I was able to transfer all my data from my previous tablet in a matter of minutes and my new tablet was ready to use. I use this tablet for work for meetings that I attend and the battery life never fails me. Overall, this is a great purchase and I appreciate the fact that it's faster and lighter as well.

This tablet is lightweight, has great graphics and the s pen is really handy. I should have splurged for the extra ram, but this tablet still does an excellent job. Do yourself a favor and pick one up if you can.

This table is so much easier for me than my S23 Ultra because of the larger screen size and responsive S Pen, that I use this tablet for most everything else - watch videos, make reservations, place product orders. The only ONE thing that I wish I was able to do was to get this tablet from a Samsung retail location with a LTE/SIM card option. It's frustrating that I would have to procure one from my mobile provider with their bloatware. RECOMMEND

It's amazing what can be learned about new functions available with the Galaxy S 9. I feel that the Samsung Galaxy S 9 is by far and away the best tablet for every day use. I use mine for reading books. It's great to have an entire library at my fingertips.

I can text, call, watch movies, listen to music, and pretty much anything else-on either device. Although the S8 tab is a great tablet, the S9 series is a noticeable improvement in every area. It's the best Samsung tablet to date. Proud owner! Great job Samsung!

In addition, the refresh rate is quite fast and feels like a top of the line galaxy phone. I love that with most applications I can do split screen when doing my assignments or researching topics. It helps me streamline and multi task with my assignments. From a scholar standpoint, it's a great tablet to have to take notes and avoid the clutter of a laptop, phone, notebook and another other things. I would say this is the best product I have owned currently!

I would prefer this tablet over an ipad because of all the capabilities it has and how easy it is to use. Writing with an S Pen feels more comfortable to use. It also has many features. Coming from someone who has only had apple products i do not regret buying this tablet. I realized you can actually do a lot more than on a samsung tablet than an ipad.

It really helps with some of the work I do with videos and the mic on it works beautifully. The image of the wording is a bit weird or in this case unclear at times but it eventually fixes up and it doesn't happen often. Aside from that I love my tablet!

Screen is as beautiful as any flagship smartphone and just as fast. I was so aggravated by the slowness of my old Tab A but with this my phone gets a break because this tablet is my goto for everything except phone calls.

I decided to have samsung tab becosr I need for my studies. I love the quality in graphic and sound. It's very useful. The best part is the storage can be expandable with the SD card comparing with the ipad the storage is limited.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty awesome tablet So this is my first tablet I've ever gotten, I mainly started looking into buying one because I've wanted a stylus pen forever and I've seen reviews that samsung tablets and the SPen is a nice choice. I got the Tab S9 its a good size not to small or to big for my taste. Nice display its vibrant and very crisp with no screen lag or shutter. It has a nice size storage w/ option to expand with an SD card. I've browsed, emailed, read, gamed and watched movies. It has a solid performance haven't had lag or overheating. Battery% is ok, it dies faster than expected even when not in use. No headphone jack, included in the box is the tablet, standard spen and usb c to usb c cable, no wall adapter which with the hefty price tag is crazy. The SPen is awesome It has many apps to use with and feels and sounds like pen and paper which is great and has nice air gestures to use, only downside to it is the location of the button it gets clicked due to where its located on the pen and the slim keyboard case for $139.99 is a horrible accessory it scratched my screen with deep scrapes where the keyboard sits across the top when closed its a very poor design especially for the pricetag, that made me unhappy. But overall it's a solid device with nice display and solid features. I'd definitely recommend.

I've had the S2, the S6 and the S8 Ultra, and have always been pleased with the performance and features available in the Galaxy Tab line, but the S9 blows them all away. The included S-Pen in the base model is icing on a fantastic cake. The 11 inch diagonal screen is just the right size. Big enough to see what I'm working on and compact enough to fit into most of my bags, it's great for travel and on-the-go tasks for work. The battery life is great, and it seems like it charges faster than previous models. The graphics are amazing, watching movies is an absolute delight. The sound and speakers are fantastic as well, connecting and using my Buds Pro is quick and easy. Multi-tasking is easy with multi-window support, and of course, DeX mode giving a Windows-like environment.

I use my tablet for streaming, browsing, emailing, and keeping up with my stock portfolio. In my leisure time, I play a game or two on it. This tablet is everything I need and want in a compact tablet. I considered the iPad but in my opinion, Samsung beats Apple hands down when it comes to features and price in their tablets. The addition of an SD card alone beats Apple in one solid feature. I have nothing but praise for this tablet and I highly recommend the S9 to anyone looking for a smaller-form tablet

Samsung's OneUI also makes for a better tablet experience than other Android tablets. Really, the only downside is that 3rd party apps often don't have a good tablet UI. This device has some ways to mitigate that, like running things using Dex or some of the advanced lab features that try to force them to work. If you want a tablet, but not an iPad, this is the one to get.

Overtime, I began using it for streaming, gaming and video calls. At work, I am able to capture notes with the stylus, in real time. I use the write-to-text function and seldomly are there typos...making sharing notes an easy effort. The stylus and drawing capabilities are seemless. I can create multi-dimension images and highlight changes for my team. Lastly, I take it on trios with me to stream movies and shows. There are little instances of lag and the image is GREAT. It's like a potable TV. Everyone who has watched a movie on it now wants one.

The end screen fingerprint sensor is a welcome upgrade along with the super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 5 display is a welcome upgrade over the TFT LCD on the previous two models. It has a brighter better more vibrant screen. And the colors are three times prettier and nicer. Other than that it's basically the same old tablet with a slightly better s-pen, and a much better screen that is brighter and better for outside in sunlight. Samsung has absolutely amazing Top Notch quality products. I just wish their customer service and tech support was as top-notch as their actual products.

If it wasn't for the free storage upgrade, I probably would've waited on buying a new tablet. I'm glad I didn't. I primarily use my tablet for reading. At first, I thought the bigger screen would be a hindrance to hold and at the same time. Not only does the screen size make it easier to read comics in portrait mode. It's so light that holding the tablet in landscape mode is a breeze too. 10/10 would recommend.

Screen is very bright and clear even with my eyesight that is affected negatively by backlight. The choice of increase in memory, optional, is very welcome for all the games I download. Same Samsung high quality tablet. Water resistance is also useful so you don't need worth about transporting it around a pool, bath tub, or the rain.

It is very portable and not heavy, about the same weight of the S6 I traded in. Connected to Hdmi it handles very well multi windows open. A small con is that for some reason ( blocked by Samsung) I cannot connect wireless to my computer and not even through usb like I do with my Samsung phone. Hopefully the problem will be solved soon.

Prior to this I had an S8, before that an S6 Lite. I will say this though, for some reason the new pen does not seem to track as good. Perhaps it's the new tip, so I may end up changing that back to the older one.

Wish it came in a smaller size , but I picked the 11 inch, since it's the smallest. It's not too big, and it's super light. The aspect is a little messed on some apps, I think it prefers to be landscape. All my apps easily translated from the old one. I like the pen, but I fear I'll lose it. It's only a magnet holding it on, strong, but still just a magnet. I wish it snapped in somehow. Time will tell. I've only had for a few days, and it's great so far.

However, that changes as soon as you turn it on and get it setup. it is much faster that the S8 and the screen is better. Brighter, more vibrant colors and better contrast. The speakers are slightly better also. I also appreciate the in-screen fingerprint reader vs the power button fingerprint reader on the S8. This was well worth the upgrade. the S9 is on par with the S9+ and S9 Ultra, unlike the S8 which was slightly behind the S8+/Ultra.

The display is much brighter and the colors are more accurate. The battery life is a lot better compared to the tab s8 and the processor feels a lot more capable this time around. The screen is absolutely gorgeous and plenty bright for outdoor use. The speakers sound full enough for casual music listening and video consumption. I cannot say how long the battery lasts, but it is long enough to where I am taking on a long haul flight soon and have no concerns with it dying before I land. The s pen feels amazing to use and while I am not a graphic designer or artist, I can safely say that it performs admirably in those tasks. Taking notes feels like writing on paper with the added bonus of backups. I have not used dex much and don't foresee myself using it too much as my job requires a company device, but it is nice to know this thing has the horsepower to handle the task. If you're on the fence on this and want the best android tablet value: just do it. You won't regret it.

I do everything I do on my phone except for making calls and texting. I check my emails I've even used it to create power points for church and used it for my music book instead of using my paper music sheets. I love how clear and crisp the screen is and how fast it is compared to my laptop. Would deconstruct recommend this table and have recommended this table to all my friends.

Coming from an iPad Air 5, you get a lot more such as 120Hz smoothness, beautiful AMOLED display and more flexibility. These were the main reasons why I returned the iPad and got this. The only thing I don't like is the spen does not feel as good as other pens in the hand. Regardless, the quality of my handwriting is not affected by this.

I use mine heavily for work (at least 4 hours a day) but I'm starting to get RSI due to the weight. I will probably sell it soon to avoid further injury. The S series needs to come up with a light weight but equally powerful 8-9 inch model. The A series is way under-powered.

It seems to be better in every way but one, but I think it will end up being fixed with firmware updates in the future. And that is the pen gets slightly out of sync from time to time and I either have to close out Samsung Notes, or reboot tablet. I did not notice this issue with the S8.

I wasn't sure if it would be worth upgrading to the S9, but I'm happy to say that the S9 definitely provides an improved experience for drawing. The S9, while only slightly bigger than the S6 Lite physically, feels bigger when drawing. The faster processor and bigger memory eliminated all the quirkiness I experienced with Infinite Painter on the S6 Lite. The only minus is that the batter life on the S9 doesn't feel as long as the S6 Lite to me, but that's a very minor minus against all the areas in which the S9 improves. The S9 is clearly the best tablet available for digital artists with a preference for the Android platform.

The pen is like using a real pen...zero lag! Great size for my use, light, strong, durable. Opening multiple screens is wonderful. The 4 speakers are state of the art with great separation, strong highs and lows and Atmos makes for a head swiveling experience. Wow! I'm still learning, so many possibilities and will add more memory to the 256 it came with. Good idea Samsung. Enough for now, gotta pair my Galaxy phone up and share more music. Great job Samsung, truly enjoying my new fun machine!

It was the reason I upgraded from s7 to S8+ but ultimately I returned the tablet because Samsung had to get greedy and change the camera design enough that you had to buy new accessories Ie cases but then went and made crappier accessories. Who really wants an organization style case that only works on a flat surface? I'm guessing most people view their tablets on beds and couches not tables or desks (laptops work better). It was a deal breaker. Plus I couldn't stomach paying $200 again for a keyboard cover that's not as good as apples and def not worth $200. Add to that nobody else is bothering to make accessories for Samsung tablets that are any. I returned it and kept my S8+.

The S9 is smaller than the S7 so I had concerns. But this F9 FE is awesome. It is much faster and smoother operating. The display is super crisp and clear. And think I have found a smaller tablet that I really enjoy. This is a great choice for work and play as far as I am concerned.

I had prepared my S8 trade in and decided to cancel purchase. I continued to view YouTube videos of the S9 tablet. I finally decided to purchase this tablet on 08/10. I am pleased to say this tablet has exceeded my expectations in several ways. The display is fantastic. The chipset is a vast improvement over prior chipset. The S9 powers up faster and more efficient. I find myself watching movies on this tablet instead of my Samsung Qled TV. Sound quality is vastly improved. This is my 10th Samsung tablet in 7 years and each year the products keeps improving. I highly recommend this product and I know you will not be disappointed. Check out the 9/11-9/17 sale event.

True, there are a few limitations, probably all of which have workarounds, particularily when accessing some secure websites that I use, but for the most part the device works flawlessly as a mini-PC. I previously had the Tab S8 and I debated quite a bit on whether to upgrade or not. I am so glad I did. This tablet is much faster and the in-screen fingerprint reader is flawless, even with a screen protector installed. In fact, this fingerprint reader is so good that I am determined to upgrade my Galaxy Phone S22+ to one of the S24 models that will come out early next year so long as the fingerprint reader is the same as I have on my Tab S9. Oh, and the AMOLED screen is fantastic. The screen of the Tab S8 was fine, too, but once I could do a side by side comparison, before I returned my Tab S8 for credit, I realized that the S9's screen was head and shoulders above the quality of the S8. Should you buy the device? Well, only you can make that choice. But if you have the ability to upgrade from another device, whether it's a Samsung, or other device, you certainly can't go wrong.

I created a whole PowerPoint on this tablet and used it for my presentation. After that I got caught on my favorite star wars show. I upgraded from my tab a s6 and wow what a difference!! I placed it on my counter so as I clean I am able to multi task end finish emails, ordering and scheduling all at once. Prior to owning this new product, I would normally run back to the iPhone or laptop back and forth, but no more worries. I can speak to it, touch it- or type. Easy conversion into all my calendars, email and with the assistance of Google, powered all my smart house items.

There was nothing wrong with that device but the Tab S9 is a much larger upgrade than I had anticipated- the new beautiful AMOLED screen, the larger speakers, and the battery life are all worthy reasons for me to have upgraded. The only real downside I can find is that I much preferred the power button fingerprint scanner, but it’s hardly a deal breaker. This is one of Samsung’s best tablets ever made and I highly recommend it!

In all honesty I do not see any difference between the Tab S8 and Tab S9. The hype in the advertisements indicated the Tab S9 would be faster and have a better screen but I do not see that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't put this tablet down! I work in cyber security and need a portal and secure device that I can carry anywhere with me. This tablet fits perfectly! Not only does the battery last a very long time, but its easy to use. With the Samsung Slim Tablet Keyboard/Cover, I can work faster than I normally would do on my Windows desktop. The cover protects the device well. The screen quality is excellent, and the sound quality is incredible. I never thoguht I'd use the S-Pen, but that is way more useful than I expected. I really like that I can make this tablet as secure as I need it to be, and adding a VPN to connect to my home office was just too easy. I can even RDP into my Windows desktop if necessary (and it works extremely well) Great job on the S9 Tablet, Samsung. Well done!!

Gaming: As the base model with less Ram than other models this tablet can still play most modern games without hiccups. Emulation wise it can still deliver but more modern emulation will cause issues because of the lack of ram. Viewing Experience: No complaints here, the screen is plenty bright and provides an awesome viewing experience for gaming and watching media. Internet browsing: In it’s default state it’s pretty much identical to web browsing on a computer. DEX: I’ve used this lightly but having the ability to turn my entertainment device into a productivity device by simply placing it into my keyboard is an awesome feature, it basically transforms my tablet become a mini computer.

Overall I think this is a great product if you are looking for a reliable and competent device. I do wish I would have gotten the bigger version because using the dual screen is harder due to the 11 inch screen size. I also did have the S7 version previously and did upgrade but do not notice any noticeable differences if you are looking for a cheaper option. But overall very happ with the S9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A giant leap in tablet capability I have had this tablet for a month or two now, and can honestly say I use this tablet more than any tablet I've used before. I put it through a variety of tasks, from working on my other computers remotely to watching videos to reading comics. The Tab S9 has the horsepower to do anything I ask it to do and so far it does everything seemingly effortlessly. Probably the first thing that you can't help but notice is the display. Samsung has long been known for amazing displays, and this one is beautiful. I can't rattle off the specs without looking, but it is super crisp and vivid, with deep inky blacks and a liquid smooth refresh rate. I often stream games to my tablet because it is hands down the best screen in the house. For high quality video (top tier, in my opinion) on the go, accept no substitute. Audio is also noteworthy. Make sure Dolby Atmos is turned on and you will be amazed at the sound that comes out of those tiny speaker ports. Sounds are rich pretty much throughout the full range, with no rattling or tinny sound at higher volume, despite the big sound. The tablet is super responsive and snappy. Touch is just the right sensitivity, with the option to adjust it a little. All apps tend to run wonderfully, and the touch keyboard is yet another step up with this generation and Android version. I can't recommend this tablet enough. It's my new go-to device. It would not be out of the question to call it a computer replacement for the right user.

The screen looks super sharp, so reading textbooks and watching lectures is a treat. I'm a big fan of this S Pen – scribbling down notes feels almost like using an actual pen which makes it so much easier to use. And you know what? Split-screen is a lifesaver. I can have my video meetings open on one side and class notes on the other. The battery hangs in all day which means no frantic rushes to find a charger between classes like with the iPad I used before!

I read about the features on how clear the screen and quality of streaming videos, games and etc. Everything works well so far so good. I've always loved Samsung products. Calling and texting works sporadically. There should be some type of classes to address certain things with the tablet, but often I'm left to figure it out, only for it to revert back to what I changed it from. Being relatively new to tablets, I'm happy to have a tablet, but unhappy at the difficulty to get technical support.

The colors are so rich and the screen is so crisp and sharp, it exceeded my expectations. The next thing I noticed was how fast it was. It seems twice as fast as my old S6 tablet. And the feature set is unbelievable, has all the toys I found on my wife's new Fold 5 phone. And the features are doubly effective because it came with an its own S Pen. By the way I ordered it with the keyboard cover. The keyboard cover has a handy docking station for the S Pen. Additionally the keyboard cover makes a great stand which snaps magnetically into position. The docking station for the S-Pen is also held closed magnetically. I was so happy to see that the screen would tell me the amount of charge that the S-Pen had. Then I tried "Live Messages" and all my friends let me know that they wished that their cell phones and tablets could do that. Also the ability to transfer a large number of photographs to my phone with "Nearby Share" came in handy and was so fast I couldn't believe it. And anything that didn't come standard on the phone was available on Samsungs "Good Lock" app. I immediately customized the layout of the main screen. Another great feature is the ability to show application programs in landscape mode even if they were designed to run only in portrait mode. Really slick. Next I watched YouTube videos introducing my S9. They overwhelmed me with features like easy multitasking.

The screen is so much better, the access to apps and app stores is easy, as on my phone. Easy to stream, and also with the keyboard attached case, it is simple to type and use for work as well. I wish it was even a touch smaller, but I wanted the most compact modern Samsung tablet with the most available features. I've tried the A7, but being mainly a "bargain" tablet in the size I prefer, it just couldn't keep up with the performance I needed. then bought a Lenovo M9, again smaller in size, but limited in performance and quite slow. I prefer the smaller size over the "cheaper cost" and am willing to spend a lot more money to get something in a smaller form factor. Ultimately, I knew I had to get the smallest new S9, with the slimmest case I could find on Amazon, and a Spigen glass case, and it is my "best case scenario: in terms of both size and performance, cost, not a factor. I've been through a few iPad Minis and the smallest iPad Pro (My main computer is a Macbook Pro for mobility reasons, but my phone is a Samsung", and I just never cared for the iPads, even though I generally like Mac computers, of course the tablets are "more or less" a larger more powerful iPhone. I had an iPhone recently for work so I was sort of familiar with the iPhone-like setup on the iPads ... but I ended up hating most of the "use case" scenarios. Samsung Table S9 was the clear winner; my only regret was not getting it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, capable, expendable Coming from my Tab 7 FE, the S9 improves my experience with Android tablets completely, especially since I have also bought a Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. Both devices interact well with each other and I now understand the appeal having multiple devices from the same company. Back to the Tab S9, the biggest improvement is going from the LCD screen of the Tab 7 FE to the gorgeous OLED screen. The colors are more vivid and true, the blacks are blacker, and contrast just pops. What's more is the battery life is improved, as well. This is due to the OLED screen, better battery, and more powerful but efficient Snapdragon chip. One UI 6's multi-tasking capability is unmatched to any other OS's from iOS to other Android flavors. This is the closest to a computer experience that you can get from a tablet. And to think that there are two other Tab S9 models that are even faster and have bigger screens is the icing on the cake. I'm sure everything I've written will only be better on the Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra.

Read books on it daily, stream movies, and participate in Forums. The machine has demonstrably less operating faults than my former machine and is much faster. Battery life is improved as well. It pairs well with my hearing aids and allows me to stream audio and other items without disturbing any other people.

Having used Android phones before, it was easy to adjust to the Tab S9. The size is virtually identical to my iPad and I love the Samsung Outdoor Cover I purchased with the Tab. The display is bright, clear, and much better than my iPad's Retina display. Touch sensitivity can be a bit less sensitive than the iPad but the S Pen more than makes up for it! I also love the very reliable fingerprint unlock which is far superior to that of the Touch ID of the iPad. I'm a convert to the Tab series.

I work mostly on PC, and sometimes I don't like bringing a big, heavy laptop to hang out. I prefer this tab because in emergency cases when I am far away from computer, it can help me solve the problem with SamsungDex mode. I can work like using a computer and finish the task faster.

On my off days I use my tablet for some gaming , video watching using you tube and streaming apps and surfing the internet. I have had no problems with connectivity and only find buffering happening on certain wifi availability. I have had several samsung tablets and find the s9 offered the storage and ram I needed to run the programs I use.

Can run demanding games at high settings and battery life is perfect. One of my favorite features is IPX67 water and dust resistance. Súper light and comfortable. And for me, this is the perfect form factor for all of it. Paired with the keyboard case and stylus, this tablet easily handles everything that I throw at it. But it's small enough to hold in one hand, prop up on my chest in bed or on an airplane tray, and easily throw into any bag or backpack. No complaints, would absolutely buy again.

I previously been using other tablets on the market available to me for school, but once I stopped into a Best Buy and saw the new Samsung Tab S9 and it's note taking abilities, I knew I had to have one. It is the best possible tablet you could have as a student. The pin and it's connectivity and application with the tablet S9 is superior to anything on the market. Notes are taken with exceptional quality and detail and there are so many features to learn on the tablet. The Snapdragon processor makes it extremely fast in the multi-window control is exceptional when doing multiple things as a student. The tablet is lightweight, extremely durable, and cool to the touch when running intensive programs. The S Pen having programmable buttons on the pin itself makes it very handy when taking quick notes and erasing things. Also, the screen quality is superior to any other tablet on the market. It is absolutely beautiful and extremely bright with a very long lasting battery. I also enjoy that if my phone is getting low, I can use my tablet as a power bank to charge my phone and other accessories like my earbuds. Finally, the Samsung Dex mode makes the tablet into a computer streamless and easy. Never before have I seen this ability on a tablet work so well. I love my Samsung Tab S9 and ever since then I have also gotten a Samsung s23 Ultra and Samsung buds Fe. I cannot wait for more to come!!!

The colors are vibrant, the software is lightning quick, and I never used the S pen with my other tablet but now I can't put it down! The possibilities and things you can do with the s9 tablet are endless! I actually allowed two of my friends, who were die hard apple fans, to play with my tablet and they switched out their ipads for the s9 tablets! It helps me stay organized, entertains me and its very helpful while I am cooking and reading up on the recipes.

I use it on travel by downloading multiple movies and shows to watch on airplane 3. I use it for gaming instead of using my phone. Phone is big but tablet is bigger and doesn't require me to use reading glasses. I enjoy the quality of the tablet and how responsive it is when I tap it. I also like how the finger print reader is on the screen instead of the power button. My only complaint is that it isn't compatible with the s8 tablet Samsung keyboard case. Seems like a waste to me. Overall, awesome tablet that meets all expectations you are used to from Samsung.

I wear glasses because I am near sighted, and even though my TV is close, I can't see subtitles without them on. This little 11 inch tablet is great for watching movies in bed. With the Dolby Atmos sound, I don't even need headphones! So, I can lay in bed without my glasses or headphones and enjoy a movie! I also have the outdoor protective case so if I fell asleep and the tablet were to fall, it's no big deal. (HAS happened a couple times...) The picture quality on the tablet is remarkable, and if I want to cast to my TV I can. Looking forward to my next Samsung phone upgrade when I can afford it! The s24 ultra 1tb is my dream phone!

ALSO, DON'T FORGET THE 1YEAR FREE GOODNOTES SUBSCRIPTION THAT COMES WITH IT. As someone who works full-time while also attending college for a BSc. In Applied Physics, it can be very overwhelming to carry around tons of books and a heavy laptop. PDF books appear great on the screen and you can also annotate pages with the S-Pen that is included with your tablet. Additionally, making study notes and practicing problems using the Goodnotes App is a wonderful added bonus. Samsung DEX coupled with MS Office is almost guaranteed to give you a wonderful desktop-like feel for doing demanding tasks which is handled well on the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SOC overclocked version for Samsung. Did I mention that you can also write code and compile quickly? Using Google Colaboratory, coding on this tab is a breeze. Everything syncs to my S23 ultra for easy access on the subway so that I am always getting studying done. You can even pair it with your Samsung cellular device and utilize it's mobile connection seamlessly as a Wi-Fi connection. It will instantly recognize your phone. On top of it all, the slim-IP68 rating-solid-build form factor is definitely a must-have if productivity is your goal and you enjoy the progress of the Samsung ecosystem. This tablet is super responsive and works like a dream with my other Samsung devices. I am enjoying the experience of using it and look forward to exploring all it can do. I have a surface pro 7 and surface studio laptop. I think my surface pro is going to collect some dust now that I have started using this tablet. I would definitely recommend this tablet to any of my fellow tech chasers. It is awesome and I am happy I made the decision to purchase.

The edge is too sharp, a rounded edge will be better in hands, even like the one in tab s5e will be way better. 2. It is thin, but hope it could be also tough so it will not break easily. Other than the outer glass, the inner amoled display is always easy to break. 3. It would be great to have speaker front facing, and less vibration during speaker mode.

Having the pen included really seals the deal on this device being just a joy to use! Battery life has been great and having the base unit with the OLED screen finally makes the viewing experience awesome! I have noticed some drops in wifi connection a couple times but still working through if it's a me problem, software, or something else. But other than that, things have been great!

The note taking apps are great and even when I just want to watch movies and shows the device is great with its quality and sound quality. If notes are your main thing I would recommend the paper screen as it's easy to remove and reapply. One thing I wish would change however is newer note apps, I mainly use good notes for Android since its promotion, but the app has alot of issues that make it difficult to be reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally OLED on all sizes! I prefer smaller tablets, around 8" to 10". Starting with the S7, Samsung stopped using OLED displays with their smaller options. So I ended up going with the 12" S7 Plus and the 14" S8 Ultra. The screen size was amazing for content but terrible for portability. The other downside was the amount of RAM being tied to the size of the device and the storage. If you wanted 16GB of RAM, only the S8 Ultra offered it. Now with the S9, you can have a 10" OLED tablet with 12GB of RAM (as opposed to 6GB or 8GB). It's not 16GB but this is way better than before so I can't complain. I use my tablet way more now. I don't look like I'm pulling out a cookie tray out of my backpack and taking notes is a bit easier with a smaller device. The battery may be smaller but so is the screen so it lasts about the same as the Ultra did. The device has proper cooling now so you can really push the tablet with certain games and apps, something the S8 Ultra couldn't handle well despite having so much room for cooling hardware. Thank you Samsung, for giving the little guys a fighting chance and please keep doing this for all future releases. If not, I'll stick with this Tab S9 until you do.

I wanted the Ultra but in the economy money is tight so sometimes you have to settle. I thought I would be let down or disappointed because it wasn't the ultra like I had had in the past but I can say I'm not I'm happy with the tablet I plan to get the keyboard next and I'll probably get the next mile that comes out hopefully money be better by then it's fast it's versatile great screen light and taking anywhere what a protective case not to worry about it gaming I can run PS play I can run hook up a controller to it even that new controller backbone through the plug USB cable hooks up to it and you can play Modern Warfare or whatever you want so I highly recommend it.

It's a useful and didactic tool, so much so that my boyfriend is only allowed to have one game, just so he can enjoy the processor. I'm excited to see what more advances Samsung will bring. Currently, with the incorporation of AI, I can notice agility in certain searches or image editing, eliminating noise when searching for references for my works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from S9 tablet review I've had my s9 for 2 months now and i mostly use it for downloading music, drawing, and studying and since i study and draw most of the time the s pen has helpes me so much and it since it has a button i cant accidently tap it and it undo my art that I worked so hard on the only real complaint that I have about that is the surface is too smooth so I sometimes accidently glide but it can easly be fixed if you get a paper or fixed screen protecter and with the studying since I had got the keyboard that came with it its been easier most of the time I write with the s pen but when the circumstances call for it I use the keyboard the only problem with the keyboard and the back is that its to flimsy and small so I try not to type on it as much but thats my opinion some people may be ok with that as it still get's the job done and I mostly use the pen so I look over that part and finally with the music with how much the storage there is I dont have any problem with that what so ever I well over enough songs downloaded and it didnt even make a dent in my storage space so you wont have to worry about that all in all the s9 works really well with me and I like it alot so I hope that my review is helpful to some people thinking what new tablet they should get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vast upgrade from Tab S4 RAM and internal storage are a huge advantage from Tab S4....allows endless amount of flexibility and ability to load apps, etc...No longer do I have to worry about space since some apps cannot be saved to external SD card....sound and display are amazing...pen is more functional and accurate than before...battery is way more capable...strongly recommend if considering on upgrading

It's clean and organized enough to navigate easily. It has a ton of hidden features as well. The S9 is my favorite tablet I've owned coming from S6 Lite. The chip makes the experience butter smooth and apps open right away. The S pen comes with the tablet and it's so useful for drawing or gestures. It feels sturdy and durable and it sticks to the tablet with magnets. The speakers are amazing. I rarely use headphones with my S9 because the speakers sound so full. I highly recommend this tablet.

I am over the moon with the quality of this tablet! So easy to setup and easier to use. Regardless of what I use it for, streaming, working in an airport, gaming, shopping, it never fails. I love how dependable the long life battery performs. This tablet check ALL the boxes! You'll love it

On paper I'd take hours and wear my hand out, but this tablet really revolutionized my note-taking. I personally love the samsung brand notes app. Not only does it allow me all the customization I want for my notes, but it's also compatible with the samsung pen. With a push of the button I can erase mistakes. I love how it allows me to make my notes pretty and practical. Even my mother agreed she was skeptical, but that the tablet really allows me to take nice notes. Another that helps, is I have the ability to draw certain diagrams, but I can easily copy them into my notes if they are too complex. Having the ability to markup documents via writing also really helps with my memorization too. I did wear down my pen nib after a semester but replacing it was super easy and convenient. I also do love the color, the purple is really pretty.

With a click of the pen's button I can erase mistakes. I also have the ability to cast my pen options on to my phone for convenience. Even my mom agrees, despite her skepticism, that the tablet allows me to take nice notes. I find it super convenient to switch between the types of pen used or if I want to highlight. Which helps with my overall speed. I prefer my notes be detailed and colorful, to in my studies. This tablet has really helped me achieve that in all my notes without sacrificing too much time. I also appreciate how samsung notes allows me extra organization by allowing me to organizemy notes by classes. I did wear out my samsung pens nip after one semester, but it was super easy and convenient to replace. I also really love the color. I find the metallic purple to be quite pretty.

Perfect for notes and recording lectures BUT ALSO a really powerful portable device to consume media in such a crisp display! I would use it to watch shows between classes and connected an xbox controller to play games through the cloud while on the go. Higly recommended!
