Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for the price I purchased this product in July. Always wanted a tablet, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I mostly use this product for entertainment purposes (movies, tv shows, social media, etc.) and I am quite pleased with it. The only downside is in the performance, in which it's a little slow in rotating from portrait to landscape mode and back again, and it sometimes doesn't quite register a tap on the screen right away, but it's barely noticeable. This is an overall great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dull color I just bought this at Costco and I'm totally disappointed. The color is very dull and the screen is not a very good clarity. Pictures are not sharp. I have an older S2 and the screen is much better. I wanted something new but it looks like even the really old S2 is better. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I guess I got what I paid for. If this was returnable I would and buy another S series.

It is not bad at all it is very reasonable for its price. I have always loved samsung tablets, phones, and chromebooks. For some reason I can't ever think about making a swicth from this tablet. I know there are better modles that samsung is selling but I like this tablet a lot so I would recomend buying it. Thank you for your time!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 90 days in and screen is dying i went from a s2 to a this a7 and in about a day i knew i had made a mistake. i wasn't expecting another s2 but i was expecting better than what this a7 is. now to top it off the screen is fading from the edges in. good thing i didn't trade in my s2 because that's what i'll be using while this thing is getting fixed. word to the wise, don't trade in your old for new. the only positive of the a7 is the battery

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung tablets continue to disappoint i'm on my 4th samsung tablet. i buy samsung android tablets because there are no competitive products in the market. issues: - tablet doesn't utilize sd card for apps. yet samsung and costco included a 64gb sd card that's not usable without a 3rd party app. - tablet is capable of high speed charging, but not only does samsung not include a high speed charger, there isn't one on their website listed under accessories. found one on amazon that did fast charge, two came for $9.99. really samsung? - samsung takes too long to provide updates of new android versions. my google phone got an update to android 12 over a month ago, yet my brand new tablet just updated to android 11 after i bought it, and won't go to android 12 until next may, nearly 8 months later. inexcusable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tablet this is a wonderful device, it holds great value and it way faster than my old tablet as well as my hp laptop i was using. images are sharp and the screen is colorful and vivid. it's great for medium gaming and has a long battery life even with heavy use. i use this as my main device so it's used all day. i usually get 11-12 hours of screen on time and about day of mix usage. this is my first samsung galaxy device and i'm very pleased with everything. one ui is very smooth and i recently updated to one ui 3.1, which has subtle changes, it much more smooth. and finally this tablet has great speakers! with a quad speaker setup paired with dolby atmos it gets loud but without losing any quality. but i would recommend this to any one looking for a tablet with great value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tablet, but this overall is a great tablet, it is pretty fast, very reasonably priced, i like the face id, but it doesn't always work so i think they should have used that money for some of the other things that are not so good, some examples are, the camera is terrible, the battery estimation is way off, if i scroll up to where it says charging, i may be at 90% but it will say 2 hours until full charge, and as i said, this is way off, also, a lot of the apps like doordash, and samsung smart things are not available in the play store, i have found a fix for the most part, if you use the galaxy store it will work, but i have noticed that the galaxy store is almost all games, and samsung apps. yes i would recommend this to you if your incentive was not the camera, or face id.

This tablet is perfect for streaming and checking emails on a larger screen. I also use it on road trips. This tablet has a headphone jack and SD card slot, which is great since those are being phased out.

This has been a great tablet for my elementary kids. They were able to Zoom, do all if their assignments, play games, watch videos, and chat with friends. This would also be plenty good for most adults too. The screen is nice and big with an amazing picture. The battery life is great too. It's lite weight and easy to hold. I would recommend to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tablet, Battery life is not i had this tablet for a little over a month and it nice when i can use it. performance is good. i use it mainly to surf and plays some games. they are not huge resource drain games, mainly a few slot games online. i purchase at costco when it was on sale and thought it was a good value for the price. unfortunately the battery is not that great. i might be good to get 6 hours of time at best, but that seems weak. it takes a while to charge back up. i have a lenovo tablet that can run twice as long as this samsung and it is 2 years old or older. very disappointed as i have owned a couple of samsung tablets in the past.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissapointed i just purchased two of these devices this christmas. after opening them and setting them up i discovered that you cannot move apps to an sd card with this device. only media files. this is absolutely unacceptable and i would like to return my tablet. why would this feature be removed. i realize it's a budget tablet but allow users to decide on their own if apps aren't running well on external storage. to remove this completely is a terrible idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performance arrived in a bigger box than size of product, bouncing around because there was no pkg, for instance bubble wrap! tablet has glitches like blinking in and out while filling out forms like this review, it's temperamental and you never know when it's going to do it. screen response is fair. device care is messed up, makes me do it twice to back out. adaptive lighting is slow to respond. did not come with the fast charging wall charger or cord, screen doesn't say fast charging but when i use one i bought it does. there's plenty more, but i'm not returning because i can't be without my tablet, it's my communication and tv. i'm sure samsung sent me a used tablet not new! actually my trade in samsung tab a was in better condition than this tab a7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spotify 6 months premium not included i have purchased this tablet from samsung as they have offered 6 months spotify premium and 2 months youtube premium. i have followed all the steps to redeem as suggested by samsung support, but no luck. finally they gave up stating that it is spotify issue. i would have purchased it from walmart which was giving a better deal . the tablet overall is good. experience with samsung support has not been great. most of the times they were not sure sure what they were dealing with .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonable at this price I purchased this tablet a year back replacing my ipad air2 which I used for good 8 years except for battery problem at last stage. This tablet so far has good battery lasting, works good with all type of apps but has issue with auto upgrading the OS or apps and hangs the device until restared using hard boot. Even though all settings are correct, the performance issue occurs at least once a month. Thinking of returning back but every time I find this to be requiring to upgrade the device version with some patches to install.

This tablet experiences great connectivity and is efficient and fluid in all apps that I run on it. The graphics are nice for every game I've played so far, which is dozens of games. I like that it was very affordable and the size is just right for more than just the video games because I have found myself doing many other things like organization, social apps, etc and use my phone for phone calls and texting.

I use it to create my post for Instagram and my Facebook page. I love the picture quality on it. It's crystal clear and vivid. It's also super fast and doesn't lag at all. I also play games and watch videos on it all the time. It's by far the tablet I have ever had!

We also home school and the tablet makes it easier for me to access the kids accounts when needed without any issues. I use it for Facebook, Tic-Tok, and a lot of YouTube. I am very pleased with it and use it every chance I get. When I am in the car I connect my tablet to my car radio and stream my music over Bluetooth. I couldn't ask for a better tablet. Thank you Samsung for always making reliable and just awesome products.

Use of steaming services in ti always lagged ecn when it was only thing on the internet as oopsod to our iPad which streamed seamlessly and being 3 yesrs older. Constant crashing of apps and can have toov.any opened otherwise you'll be running nothing. Was able to use for music snd ebooks and some photography but not much

Because they don't know why you get to move basically anything to the SD card which stinks. My kids Amazon fire 10 Pro is better but I believe the Samsung screen is better. The tablet constantly turns off constantly dies battery life is horrible, there are so many things that can be improved with this tablet. Not to mention it's a nightmare to navigate through.

Watch YouTube, send emails, stream media both on the tablet and with Smart View on my Samsung TV. The tablet does well with most games. Only small complaint is the onboard memory is a bit small for my purposes. Overall a great tablet. This is my 4th Samsung tablet, I'm not paid for the review, but I love Samsung!!

The games and features on my phone has more selection then the tablet like certain games I can get on my phone but the tablet says not compatible or don't have it. I thought being Samsung the tablet would have wowed me and it didn't I love Samsung products I truly do ill.never touch an iPhone or and iproducts but I want the tablets to have same features since I plan on getting another tablet.

I can access all my reading and video recorded materials on it, as well as use study aids like flash cards. Some of the more complex parts of my curriculum, such as labs, still necessitate the use of my computer, but for the most part, I am able to access enough content to be a big help. Other than that, I use the tablet for chatting, YouTube and some light gaming. It works great for chatting and YouTube videos, but doesn't have quite a powerful enough graphics processor for more intense games. Overall, I am satisfied with this tablet for the price as it was mainly purchased for studying.

I love my Samsung tablets. Fast and strong! I've never had any problems with their preforming every task I need them to do. I've had 2 in the last 9 years. I replaced my first one, when the screen got broken too. I've looked at other tablets, but I know I can trust Samsung tablets, so I try to purchase a newer version when I need too. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time saving and large storage capacity For work my tablet can download and store all of my necessary content. Movies and live streaming aren't problem. Emails appear fast, getting back to customers needs is efficient. And for personal use its loaded for anything you need. Graphics, sound quality, not to mention the camera for pictures and videos is outstanding. Worth every cent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tablet poor usage of ram I do love this tablet, the only downside is if you purchase the 32 gig version it fills up way to fast. Even with a 128 g SD card it doesn't matter. Large apps (data) can't be move.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect combination for my phone This tablet has everything, I can start a document in my phone and then continue in my tablet, what's more the size is perfect to fit in my purse, so I can take it with me everywhere. The image quality is pretty decent, watching videos and playing games makes this a perfect addition to my samsung devices.

They can easily carry it around and it is thin and not bulky to their game play is easier. They can do school work on it, it was what it was meant for on our house, however they play games instead. They are really upset when I take it away and they fight over it all the time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic bargin and a great device I love the simplicity of this tablet. I like the fact that I can run multiple apps simultaneous with little draw on the battery. Great picture/soundly for movies, and games. I bought the extended memory stick and was able to save several movies for a long road trip. This tablet has exceptional ram and overall performance. This is a great bargin for a really good device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Tablet. I want to tell you about my best helper. It is my Galaxy Tab7. This is my second one because I use it 24/7. I must spend 8hrs on it for I usually have to charge it at least two times during the day. I like that I can use horizontal or vertical. This comes in handy when I play games on it. I use it to message my Granddaughter with either texts or video calls. I also like it to pay bills and receive notices when they are due. I do banking and shopping because it easy to hold on my lap. It is just the right size to go in a purse or bag. It even went to Crete, Mexico and different states. Please do not leave home without it. It is calling my name, so I must pick it up and give it a hug.

The display is huge and since it's a Samsung he can use it without issue because he uses his phone in the same way. The speed is amazing and with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse it's pretty darn close to a laptop.
