Great tablet. I had problems with tablets from other companies. They were either too slow or too expensive. The A7 tab lite runs nicely and isn't too expensive. It runs games well and has a long lasting battery. Great product. Definitely glad I got it.

Much Better than its predecessor
I had the 2017 version of the Galaxy Tab A7 and the touchscreen was not responsive. This touchscreen is just as good as my iPad. Some of the apps are not as fast to start but that is not what I was expecting from this device. I predominately use this while I am exercising in the gym to watch Netflix and listen to Spotify.

I was surprised it's a 9 inch tablet
I thought it was 7 since it had A7 as the description. This is replacing a Nexus 7 tablet that the button quit working after 5 or years of use. This table has a very long battery life as well.

I cannot make Smart View or Screen Mirroring work on this Galaxy A7 Lite, you can go to play store and pay for (something?). The Tab S6 lite has a Smart View and it works. I have no alternative but to send it back.

Its not the greatest or the worst. I like to use lower model tablets (lower priced) for practical daily usage. Such as reading a book or watching clips off of YouTube. Even if I broke this I wouldnt be stressing over it compared to a 1000$ tablet. I would recommend this product to those that want a tablet without stressing over the price.

I absolutely love this tablet! It is very easy to use and well made. My kids use it and do not have any issues at all. The battery lasts a while as well. I have enjoyed having this tablet. I mostly just use tablets for streaming services and the screen quality is great. The only thing I am not a fan of is the layout of the keyboard, only because it is not consistent with my galaxy phone so I generate a lot more typos.

I’ve finally had a chance to sit down and review the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite 8.7” 32mb and I am truly WOWED! It’s the absolute perfect size for a tablet in my opinion, and can be operated one handed. The processor is super fast and closing and opening web pages and apps is lighting quick with no noticeable lag. The screen is bright and colors are vibrant. I am truly impressed with this new version, especially having previous models. Better in every single way. Nice job Samsung! 100% recommend as a buy!

I have the 10inch version to this tablet and I can honestly say the smaller one is the best bang for your buck. So strangely the image quality on the 8.7 is better than the 10.4 battery life and sound quality is also better in my opinion. The dual speakers is great for watching videos and keeping the kids entertained it loads games up blazing fast. Screen can get really bright so outdoor use is great but it can also get really low so bed time use doesn't hurt the eyes. I genuinely love this tablet it's simply incredible a definite game changer in keeping the kids happy and entertained

Great upgrade from my ancient Galaxy Tab
Bought about 18 months ago to replace ancient Samsung Galaxy Tab P7500 (yup, that old). While I miss the big screen of the old one, the new one is fantastic. Fast enough for my apps (despite the "budget processor) and with enough battery life for extended use. Use this for both work and home and has no problem with either. Price was pretty reasonable, too.

I have been a long time Samsung fan, but the poor quality of this tablet and and poor customer service may be the reason I no longer purchase Samsung products going forward. This tablet was originally purchased for our forester to use when driving around properties estimating tree inventory. The unit was used approx four times before we noticed the tablet had warped and was getting extremely hot during use. After some online research, this seems to be a well documented issue with these particular tablets. I contacted Samsung and, because the unit was less than 6 months old and still under warranty, they sent me a pre-paid label to get the unit shipped in for repair or replacement. Got a call from their support team today and was told that minor scratches on the back of the unit voided the warranty and they would repair the unit for $106..... Ummm what?? Absolutely appalled that they refuse to repair a unit well within its warranty period with some serious structural and internal defects because of minor cosmetic blemishes on the back of the unit. Shame on you Samsung!!

The color is exactly as pictured and I like the screen being big, but not overwhelmingly big. Once fully charged, it lasted me a day and a half before needing to power up again. So far I've downloaded a few games and different apps and I've had no problems. The processing system is super quick and the quality of the tablet itself is superior. Samsung never disappoints me and it is a brand I have become to love.

I love the size of this tablet. It's very lightweight, but don't let that fool ya! It's amazing! The sound and speakers are just what I was looking for, as I love to watch videos. And I love Samsung brand and this one did not let me down! I'm going to have to get one now for my grandson, so he can watch cartoons on it. Was looking for a budget tablet and this was the one I chose. Glad I did. It's a lot better than I expected it to be. It's not perfect, but for $120, I didn't expect it to be perfect. Some text and images are a little fuzzy in places. Nothing major though. Performance is outstanding, as long as you're not expecting to get the same performance as a much more expensive device. That seems to be what people compare this to, but it's an unfair comparison. That's like comparing a 1988 Honda Civic to a 2024 Chevy Corvette. All in all, this is a great little tablet that is close to perfect for my use case. I recommend it.

WHY only 3GB of RAM? It's so 2018! This is a budget tablet with decent battery but it can only run one or 2 light apps at a usable speed. Should come with 64GB base storage & 4GB RAM. Samsung has made 8'' tablets for several years and used 32GB storage with 3GB RAM. Time for better spec or forget it.

ever since the google nexus 7, i'm hooked on the 7-8" tablet. how i use it, i just prefer one hand with the biggest screen possible. i tried a couple 10" tablets, no thanks.
the 64gb/4gb version of this is the best all around one-hander by far. with the 8.7 screen and tiny bezels. i have a lenovo tab 4 plus as well, with higher resolution. also tried the lenovo m8 fhd. the resolution isnt an issue for me. while the rest of the specs are ideal considering the price. perfect fit for my needs.

Great tablet from samsung. It was easy to get set up and using. Decent sized screen made it easy for me to read. It is nice to browse around on and play some games. Starts up fast and apps load up pretty quick as well.

Not indestructible
bought 3 of the tablets in february 2022. son dropped the tablet cracking the screen. company claims that the screen is indestructible and that it voided the warranty. they will not repair unless paid $99.99 plus tax. a new tablet cost $129.99 plus tax. if they claim that something of theirs is indestructible, it should be covered.

Great combination of size, function & durability
I really like this little tablet! It's the perfect size to carry, store or use. I don't really like using my smart phone for videos or reading, as I feel like it's too small of a screen. So I really like that this is bigger than my phone, but still small enough, light enough and durable enough to stick in my purse and carry with me. It weighs less than a pound and I can't even tell it's in there. So far, the screen has been really scratch resistant, although I do plan on getting a protective case for it soon, just as a "best practice". At 32gb of storage, I find that there's plenty of memory as-is, but I do really like the fact that the memory is expandable via SD card if I ever want. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features work great and I never have any problems streaming videos or connecting to the internet or other devices. It's also super easy to share my device with other devices. The battery life is really long. Even if I use it almost continually it has always lasted at least a full day without having to plug it in. So far it's really been the perfect little tablet for me.

Simple tablet that works
I was looking for a simple tablet with a great screen for my 10 year old so that she could watch YouTube, play Roblox, and be reached by me whenever I travel for work.
Well, this tablet ticks all those boxes for us. It may not be the most powerful tablet but my daughter loves her tablet and is using it every chance she gets. Overall, I am happy with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7

Same great features!
Have had a chance to use this for a little over a week now. I love the familiarity of it as it operates just like my phone. The reaction is very smooth and quick and it's very easy to navigate.

Absolutely LOVE This tablet
Outstanding elements:
- Screen quality
- Battery Life
- Performance w/Android 11
- Knox Security
- Availability of 3rd party options
One option I would have liked to have: LTE unlocked availability.
Overall fantastic tablet. Good center of gravity, fits well in the hand. App performance is consistent for even demanding games. Google Duo performance is excellent with a decent Wifi connection. Also like the battery conservation tools and compatibility with charging options.

Great inexpensive tablet for the price
I just want to say that most of the battery views are true but I think the tablet is well worth the money and functions great. I think that Samsung just threw in this cheap case just so you have something to help protect it rather than just the tablet alone. And so I look at it that way that it shouldn't have come with a case but they went over and beyond and threw in a cheap case which is awesome. Yeah it's not the best functioning case but it's something. I noticed everybody's reviews they were complaining about the case and that's the reason why they gave it low ratings which is ridiculous because the tablet itself is awesome and I couldn't tell the difference between the A7 Lite and a $700 tablet. Yes I bought a different case to protect that little gem but for a while in case you came with did okay. Every other tablet I've ever bought was just a tablet itself. With Samsung including at least something with this tablet was really awesome of them. Again I rate the tablet 4 and 1/2 stars because there's always room for improvement. I put down two stars to help clarify all the other negative two star and three-star and one star comments because the majority of them are about the case it comes with. Forget the case go get you a different one if you don't like it. Thank you for taking the time to read my comment.

Great Overall Tablet!
I was very excited to get the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it is the first tablet I've owned, and I've been really happy with it! I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, so it has been very easy to use the Tab A7 Lite because it uses the same layout and settings. Setup when smoothly and it went step by step to get everything setup the way I wanted. The best feature during setup was the Smart Switch which allowed me to transfer apps and files from my phone to my tablet, so I didn't have to find all the apps I wanted and install them individually. I also liked that it allowed me to pick and choose what I transferred, so I got only what I wanted on my tablet. It did take a while for the apps and everything to transfer, so don't worry if you don't see them there at first. I've also been able to sync games so I can play them both on my phone and my tablet and share the progress between the 2 devices which has been wonderful. The audio is also really good. It has speakers on the top and bottom, which disperses the sound nicely. It also works great for watching streaming services. The screen size is much nicer than trying to watch something on my phone. Since it is wifi dedicated, the internet and games that require an internet connection will not work if in you are not in a wifi zone, but I took it out with me and was able to play games that did not require wifi and it worked great. The one thing I wish was better is the contrast of the screen. Overall I am delighted with this tablet, and a have enjoyed it so far, and I am excited to keep using it in the future!
