Definitely would recommend this to someone looking for a premium android phone. One thing I do wish is that it had a alert slider like OnePlus, but minor issue that is not very important to me, just a small convenience thing.

This device now saves me an incredible amount of time and significantly reduces my stress. I've always been a budget phone user, so I didn't think it was that critical to get a flagship phone, but I feel like I've finally been converted. Many of the features I didn't consider important actually make the phone much more of a pleasure to use. Despite being so feature-packed, this phone and its software are still extremely fast, responsive, reliable, and stable. I cannot recommend it enough. The battery life is a bit modest, but enough for my daily needs, and the flip side is that the phone is incredibly comfortable to hold and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same as the last one I LOVE all of the Samsung phones I have ever used. I have had many but held onto my S10+ for longer than normal. Upgrading to the S22 almost felt like a step back. Very poor battery life thus far (I am told it will learn my usage and become slightly better) and not much new to offer. Learning the new button position was simple and the build quality is still great, but the S22 just seems very basic. I wanted to spring for the Ultra and probably should have but was limited to options since this line is provided by my employer. All in all this phone is still a Samsung and is far superior to its competitors but is still missing some things that could be improved. The battery is really really bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little phone...BUT It's a fantastic phone, definitely the best S ever made but the Unlocked model [SM-S901U1] doesn't allow for carrier aggregation. That doesn't fit with international carriers that take advantage of multiple bands to ensure the best connection and speeds possible over a specific network. It's absurd that a phone from 2022 only works with a single band. The Exynos variant allows for carrier aggregation, the 8 Gen 1 sold in US does not. Samsung MUST fix this as the modem inside the 8 Gen 1 is way more capable than using one band only. Remove this firmware restriction!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice phone I have had this phone 3 days and I am already disappointed in the battery life , 5 hrs without doing much on it and it's at 50% battery life. It's nothing life my S20 when it comes to battery life and speed. Even called technical support and they said nothing is wrong with it.

I've had it for 2 months now - I got it because my s10+ battery was starting to require multiple charges per day. On day 1 I charged it & expected to be good for at least 2 days... nope! I now have to charge it twice a day. Mind you, I'm not a 24×7 head buried in my phone type. I'd call myself a moderate user at best... Very disappointed.
