Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Galaxy ever The battery is like something out of the late 90s and I've never had so many bugs on a phone. Most recently every time my phone screen turned off my cellular data would shut off. The forced reset buttons didn't work the first 3 hours I tried to restart it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor battery life. So disappointed in the battery, life its horrid. Be prepared to charge this model at least twice a day. Unacceptable. My previous phone, an A12, would have a battery life of a day and a half plus for the usage. Using this model I'm having to charge by lunch time the battery depleted to 40% or less. Don't waste your money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont charge overnight! I got the phone about 3 months ago and its super fast, has great cameras, and everything was fine and dandy. The battery degrades pretty fast if you charge it overnight. Now I need to charge it to about 50% halfway through my day for it to stay on with moderate usage. I have low power mode off cause life360 needs it off to use your location. I would recommend this phone except for the battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The worst.Dont buy It is the worst Samsung Phone I bought. The battery does not work more than 5 or 6 hours. Original Samsung wireless charger does not work with this phone. The phone overheats. Samsung does not change it for a new phone, then in 2 month you have a repaired phone. Im not agree!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the best for me The look of the phone is okay, and the internals are great. But...there's tons of ghost touching, as well as the phone just freezing and closing whatever app you were using, as well as the phone overheating when gaming

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love my S22+ I have been a Samsung Galaxy user since the first Galaxy came out and my newest Galaxy phone doesn't disappoint. I've had it for about 6 weeks and it works great. It was also easy to transfer everything from my old Galaxy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If not for the battery... This phone would be incredible. I love the compact size, it's snappy and responsive, screen is great, what's not to like? The battery that's what. It's pathetic, and I'm not a power user by any stretch. I'll probably replace the phone as soon as I can find a suitable option with more juice but Samsung offered this on a deal with free 256 gb storage upgrade so I grabbed it. Maybe go with the S22+ instead. But I put a premium on compact size and there's just not much available in the market for that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice phone Upgraded to the s22 from an s9+ back in February and it's a world of difference runs smoother and feels very nice I especially like the cameras. My one complaint is the battery life isn't really better but it does get me through the day with a regular amount of usage. Other than that it's an awesome phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bluetooth connection to hearing aids is the worst. I traded my S20 for the S22 about a month ago. The connection to my blue tooth hearing aids is the worst. The technicians at Verizon said I needed to have the aids reset at audiologist. The audiologist didn't seem to know what to do. I finally called main office they sent me another phone. Still the same problem. Never, never, never did I have this problem with the previous phone. The blue tooth hearing aid feature is a very important feature in my life. This interruption is unacceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst phone I ever had. I wish I had my S9 back. I don't like the S22. The S9 had so many better features. I don't like this phone. The battery doesn't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from S22 ultra 5g I traded in my S10 plus for the s22 ultra and I can say the battery life on the s22 ultra is no better than my S10 plus was if I use the phone a lot I may as well be setting next to a charger the display and camera are really good also they took away the blood oxygen sensor from the phone it has way less features on it than my S10 plus did I like phone just not liking the battery in the s22 ultra I charge it way more than I did my S10 plus

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This phone sucks I bought this phone two months ago. Not a fan. I have to press the keys very hard to get them to work. Omg don't get me started on the back buttons or taking screenshots. I'll scoll and scoll until it goes back. Very annoying. No headphone unless wireless. I'm stuck with this phone for a while

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!! I upgraded from the s20 fe. Much after then my old phone. My battery last me all day only charger it once a day. ! Hate that there no micro chip any more. It smaller then my old phone which it's great for me. Because I have small hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery life The battery life reminds me on an Iphone 7 I had. Battery for this phone is subpar. I use device care very often to optimize the life. I also changed the background app memory to 2 gigs. It help but it's just enough. Typing this I lost 2 %. The phone is very nice but the battery makes me want to switch to another brand. Come on Samsung, I'm truly disappointed. 14hr life at 70%. Phone will not last a day if you use it casually. :-(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double Touch Unfixable 6 months or so after I bought the phone, it started frequently registering double touches, both on the keyboard and when scrolling. It increases until the keyboard is unusable. I have sat on the phone with multiple customer service reps for hours trying the same things I have a dozen times. I would gladly trade it back for my Galaxy s9

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Letdown right out of the box Worst phone I've had in years. Can't spell check. Biometrics frequently fail. Inefficient...try texting multiple people & you're forced through a group setup every time. Power button doesn't power down it turns on Bixby. Horrible design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going on phone 4 For reference I purchased my initial phone in June of this year. Beginning of July the bottom speaker blows out. Warranty the phone about a month later same issue with 2nd phone. As of 2 days ago the 3rd phone now has a blown speaker. I don’t use the phone for much outside of normal phone functions and music. Never dropped. No water damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STOP REMOVING FEATURES ADD THEM BACK WITH THE S23 Why do you all keep removing the main features I purchase a Samsung phone for. NO Micro SD Card Support (Strike 1), ?Why does Samsung sell Micro SD cards on their website if their own phones cannot use them?, why maybe to sell users more storage at a higher cost. No WQHD 1440p display only FHD on the S22 and S22 plus model only WQHD on the S22 Ultra (Strike 2) Customers needing to purchase the largest phone to get the best display ridiculous. Why does a Galaxy S6, S7, S8, S9, S10 and S20 have a higher resolution screen than this newest S22 and previous S21. You all suppose to be the leaders in this business of screen technology but cut corners sometimes in hopes that most customers don't notice. Yes the S22 has other screen upgrades except for high resolution. Images, videos and text look sharper on a S20 and previous older models that has a WQHD display unlike the lower FHD display on the S22 and S22 plus which is a crime shame. No MST for Samsung Pay (Strike 3)?Samsung pay use to be hands down better than Apple Pay and Google Pay because of a technology called MST or Magnetic secure transmission, while the others only had NFC to use. Older Samsung phones had both NFC and the MST feature that made the mobile payments work with old 10 or up to 20 year old credit card readers. The newer phones only have NFC or near field communication, that can send a short range wireless signal that usually only newer credit card readers can detect. The older galaxy phones could send a magnetic signal to older credit card readers that cannot detect the wireless signal, MST from the phone simulates the same signal that happens when you swipe your physical credit card at the credit card reader. Samsung Pay is less reliable on the newer phones. NO sell for you Samsung this year. Add these features to next years S23 and then I'll buy one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Traded in my galaxy 20 for the 22+ because it was time for an upgrade. I really like this phone! The pictures I take of my cats and grand kids are amazing with this phone. I have had Android, Samsung Galaxie phones for a long time so I am familiar on how to use this phone. I just love it. I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Device I bought the S22 when it first came it. First device I have ever purchased at launch. I don't like huge phones, so the smaller size is a big selling point for me. Signal reception has been fantastic, which is the single biggest selling point for me. Also, I have seen much winging about battery life. I work twelve hour shifts, and drive an hour and a half one way. So this phone lasts fifteen hours, most of it streaming one thing or another, while mostly under shoddy signal. Sure, you might not get that much screen on time, but for me I don't have the screen on that much. Works perfectly for me, no real stutters or weird glitches like the Pixel 6 I tried, and has a better update policy. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade, too bad the sound has bugs Never had a problem with my previous Galaxy but for some reason the volume is always dropping low. I have read forum after forum of people reporting the same issue and it always gets blamed on something the user downloaded. I had the same apps before on my prior phone and never had this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Samsung Yet I've had several Samsung cell phones, starting back at the S2, and this S22+ is the best one yet. Terrific screen, very fast and seems to get better reception than my work cellphone (Samsung A51) or my previous personal cell (Pixel XL). I've only had it 3 weeks, so haven't explored all the features yet, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a big fan I've owned many galaxy phones throughout the years, and didn't think to do any research on this phone (Samsung Galaxy S22) having been more than pleased with all of my past galaxy phones. That was my first mistake. I couldn't tell you the last time I owned a phone with such a poor battery life. I had to purchase a car charger so I ensure I have a phone whilst driving lest anything happen on the road, which brings me to my second major issue with this phone. Overheating. I was coming home from a doctor's appt and had my GPS pulled up as I'm not terribly familiar with the area my appt was in. My phone, on the drive home over heated to the point that Google maps was malfunctioning on my device and I ended up getting lost on my drive home, and it was incredibly stressful. I am considering selling this phone to get a new one after having this phone for a whopping 3 weeks. I was going to do a trade in for the S22 ultra, but it looks like the S22 is not eligible. Definitely disappointed with this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phone is bulky and screen has scratches I upgraded from a s8 to s22 Phone has less than a month of use and I already have nicks and scratches on my screen. I don't have a screen protector but do have an acrylic clear case that overlaps the boarders so when your phone is face down it doesn't touch the surface. Now I'm wondering how much longer I have until the entire screen is cracked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great entry phone to the S line. I have bought this phone about two months ago as an upgrade over my s10e. It's an amazing phone despite the GOS issues, would have giving 5 stars. 5g is also still not supported all over the world and that set at 60 hertz is very simplar experience wise to my s10e. Other than that my S22 does better than specs and getting all day battery life unlike how others say. They just use their phone at max brightness all day long running mutiple apps draining that battery. The only thing that has disappointed me is the audio quality so far as my S10e is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Galaxy - you won't be disappointed Not sure what the deal is with all the negative reviews but I've had my S22 now for a couple months and it works great, this is my 5th Galaxy (I actually still have my original Galaxy 1! And it still works) and won't be the last I'm sure. The screen is bright outside in the sunlight which is handy since I take a lot of outdoor pictures and the camera is spectacular for a phone... I don't carry my Canon at all anymore since it hardly takes better photos. Battery life is good too even on the standard model...mine lasts all day unless I'm streaming video for hours on end or using the hotspot for a long time. BTW get the Samsung screen protector for it, it's really difficult to apply correctly but once you have it figured out it's super durable and is the only one that I've found that works perfect with the fingerprint reader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The phone captured Aurora. A couple of months ago, I traded my old phone for this S22 through Verizon Promotion. Actually, I didn't have any expectations for the features of this phone. But it was stunning!!!! I went to Yellowknife to see Northern Lights(Aurora) with my family last weekend. We stayed out for more than 2 hours to hunt the Northern Lights. Finally, we could see the amazing lights. The night sky was breathtaking sights. At that time I was the only person to capture the amazing moment and scene. And everyone around me kept asking about my phone. So far, I keep selling and advertising this phone to my friends and coworkers while showing the Aurora with my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Solid Phone Phone is very nice and works smoothly. No issues with the phone size is just right so as not to be a problem holding or carrying in pocket. Memory, storage, display, and cpu all work well. Only down side is no external storage slot and battery could be larger. All in all a great phone desipte the down side items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of storage I wasn't going to buy another new phone, but the S22 256GB has lots of storage. The more storage eliminates the need for an SD card. This phone is very easy to set up and use, and the overall size is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone to have. 3rd Galaxy I've had. I am coming up on a year with this phone in the next few months and have no complaints honestly. While I don't find myself using the stylus very much the camera and screen are absolutely fantastic. I have no issues getting a good shot of something I'd like to photograph regardless of how far away it is, and the battery life is more than enough to get through my daily routine without having to charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phone and text works. The basics work. Very unhappy with this phone. I have large hands, so this is not for you if you have large hands. The Verizon rep told me that it was comparable to the Note 10+. It was not. The voice to text is not good. The swiping with predictive text is awful. The phone works, texting works, so if that does it for you, all good. Battery life is not good especially if your location settings are on detail. These are supposed to be water resistant. My phone has not fallen on the ground, let alone a spill, but somhow from a little sleet today, I got the water warning of death symbol on my phone. I had higher hopes after the glass to the edge ripoff phones. No, this is no bueno.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Devices created with no external storage SD capabi Samsung on my S22 that I only know of but I know there's others and there will be more. Has designed their new phones not to accept external storage which means no SD card capability. Why would that be an upgrade or make it better for the consumer safety of their data, media and other files. You now have to find a way and spend a lot of time to transfer your information to somewhere else of an external storage which leaves you not to be able to access any file media or other. That makes the use of other apps in which you want to post a screenshot, a picture, a video or file. It also makes the consumer to spend extra time to find a way or product to send to external storage which is not anything easier but it makes it more work and again your device will no longer hold the information you need to be able to do normal industry standard practice. Then we believe that we can back up our phone files media etc to another form of external storage. And again more work for the consumer to get to the external storage because a cloud of any form from any manufacturer. That creates another industry standard completes problem. Many years ago when computers first came out whether it was desktop and then a wonderful laptop. When you backed up your information and it went into your storage it held a history of backups and you are able to go to a backup if you had done something wrong and deleted any form of data and restart that product to that date and pull back all data backed up. That would include any updates of the product. But logically now industry-wide policy for backup to a cloud does not will not hold a history but instead override the previous history that you believe is saved that you can go to to back up anything to fix and retrieve any data. Whoever thought of and created a device that does not allow external storage of an SD card and it wasn't caught within the company and was signed off from someone within an upper position. When the new product was tested to see if the device worked was only tested for what was built. It was not used by a consumer to see if it helped or not and then the feedback would go to the company to research and decide if there was a way to fix it or add it. we know that we get updates on our devices because they do find and usually from feedback about a problem and they research it and correct it that's why you're getting an update. There is a very simple solution to fix the problem of non-external storage capability whether it be Samsung or other companies who are now going to make that industry-wide possibility. When we are sold a device that is not something somebody would think of to ask but should be told to the consumer to help the decision of purchasing a product. So I challenge and that's a strong word and maybe incorrect to think about this decision and maybe start using consumer-based groups to try the product as a consumer and see if changes affected anything that consumers use on a regular basis. That feedback is recommended to any company that creates a device whether it's a wireless phone a smart TV a refrigerator or any other product or website. Just because it looks good on paper and proposal again I challenge for the companies to get a consumer-based team to try the product before it's mass produced to stop a recall in which I believe the S22 which is the only device I'm noticing it before it's recalled and there is another implicated company or companies that do not realize the devastating effects for their bottom line. I hope that this is not removed from this community room so that a consumer gets the correct information which allows them to make a logical decision on their own whether that is something they want before they buy the product. I am not here to dog Samsung! But when I called Samsung and asked for the SD card goes I was told it's now at microSD card and it is put in the phone in the same drawer as the SIM card. I called my phone carrier I asked the same question. In researching which microSD card to purchase I noticed that any of them were not in the shape or size to put in the drawer under the SIM card. That left me another question. In order to get the correct information which was not correct to begin with I googled the question and found articles that Samsung created and will be creating any product without external storage. There's a philosophy that everyone should live by. If something does not make sense and it's not logical it is not true. And God forbid it is true and in this case it is fix the problem immediately because it this case it's going to affect the entire world because again it could become a worldwide option. So Samsung I ask you in the most extreme and sensitive way to look outside your Samsung window glasses and is a consumer which any employee is and that includes the CEO to research this and I challenge you to prove me wrong and that be the answer to this question. Until that time, consumers beware and be more vigilant to ask a question and read the very fine print or look at the manual and ask questions because the answers of the new designs are not being given as information at the time of purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Nice New Touches All the good things that I liked about my S20, with several nice new surprises on the S22. It takes some getting used to but I really like the new messaging feature. It's much better at recognizing and eliminating Spam. Also learning how to use the nearby share feature for texts. I really like the 8k video feature. And the pictures on the S20 were great. My iPhone friends were always amazed, but wow, the S22 is even better. The phone is actually just a tad smaller than the S20. My only issue with the trade your phone deal was that I was unable to get the Free subscription to YouTube. Apparently since I had used that 3 years ago for my S20 It wouldn't let me sign in and accept the new offer. You would think that Samsung could figure that out or at least compensate me in some way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turning on and off Sucks. Battery not good either I have only had this a few days and already want to take it back. I wish I had read the reviews first. The on and off set up is 'really' stupid. It takes two places to hold for almost 10 secs to get it on and off. A couple of times holding the 2 places to shut off, some really 0dd stuff showed up, looking like it wanted to download something. And I agree with everyone else, the battery is not good. It also did not transfer my contacts from my other phone. The camera is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The S9 plus was better I've had this since it first came out and traded in my S9 plus. While functionality is pretty much the same, there are unfortunate design choices that make me wish I hadn't switched. 1. I miss the indicator light that flashed when you had a new notification and the phone was off. 2. The power button is in a HORRIBLE location. I'm am constantly hitting it when shifting the phone, changing orientation, or even just holding it. 3. I want the fingerprint area on the back. You could feel without looking where to put your finger and it just worked. Now, I have to look at my screen to find where to put my finger. It is very inconvenient. 4. As a right hander, I prefer the volume keys on the other side under the index finger. But left handers are probably liking it. 5. I miss the blue color option! Other than that, the phone functions mostly the same with minor tweaks. Overall, if I could get my s9+ back, I would!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So disappointed I have always been an Android phone user and Samsung Galaxy one for a long time now. I had a S9 and wish I would have just kept it. This one is slower and doesn't work near as well as my old phone did. And the battery life is just about as good as my almost 4 year old S9 was. I am truly disappointed in this phone and complain about it daily to my fiance.

The games I play in it run fine and the battery lasts 2-3 days with heavy use and almost a week with light use. I haven't taken many pictures so far but when I did they came out great. The only thing that annoyed me was the ringtones which were very bad but luckily android allows to add your own. The features and design are pretty good as well.

While the camera has gone better the battery has lost more than 50% of its life.while there is a 7% of battery difference in the pictures i included the time should speak for itself. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring/Notifications don't work. Here's the thing... to use the phone most of us need to have bluetooth connected as there is not audio jack you can just plug in to. Any time a bluetooth device is connected, all of the notifications and ringtones get sent to the bluetooth device. This means, unless you walk around with a bluetooth headset in your ear 24/7 or only turn on bluetooth when you have the headset on, and then turn it off at the end of your call, then you will miss your calls and text messages and e-mails because the notification sounds will be sent to the bluetooth device only and not played on the phones speakers. There is no way to ensure notifications always sound on the phones speakers. This did not happen with my previous phone S9. (Nor is this a "feature" on Apple phones.) I'm told by Samsung this is a "feature" of Android 12. I'm not really sure how you can sell a phone for $750 that doesn't have a functioning ringer (and they know this). Add to that the fact they refuse to fix the issue or refund the phone purchase. As if that wasn't bad enough, this phone doesn't stop making noise. All day long there's a beep or chime going off. Some times it's built in apps that can't be removed that are sending notifications. Other times it's applications like Microsoft Office that are sending notifications telling me to download Linked in (which I have no need for). But of course you can't turn off those notifications without disabling ALL notifications for the application. And built-in Samsung apps that I have uninstalled, have now reinstalled themselves three times in the past few weeks that I've owned the phone. (Of course you'll get notified of those installs every time too.) Over all this is just a big piece of intrusive garbage with a lot of bloat that doesn't serve the basic primary needs it is intended for, (phone and text messages). I have never liked Apple's iOS but I think that's where I'll be heading, because at least it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unacceptable battery life! I went from a note 20 ultra and getting a full days use on one charge to now having to charge my S22 3 some times 4 times a day. I charge at 15% to 100% each charge. I expected a small difference in battery life but for this day in age with technology this is just unacceptable. I am now having to use a 4800 mah battery case and still have to charge it 1 to 2 times a day after using the battery in the case. No matter what I try this phone can not get me through a day. This is all with battery save mode on.
