Rated 5 out of 5 byMy Samsung from This phone is horribleI bought this phone! It sucks it freezes and gets stuck on reboot log.I try to use the system menu to manually reboot and when it is stuck doing that you cant get the menu to come on! I will not be buying another Samsung phone!

The first is a major problem, battery life, it's just bad. With no special use I have to charge twice a day, games completely suck it dry, as does Bluetooth use. If I'm lucky I get 4 hours screen on time. this is supposed to be the workhorse of phones, workhorses don't go home with half a day to go. This should be hard use for a minimum of 24 hours. Instead it's pretty. The second problem is mostly cosmetic. The curved screen makes the spen hard to use on the edges. The glass back scratches easily and should be made of a much more durable material. Fix the battery and this will be one near perfect phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBilbee79 from 3 Note 8'sI have purchased 3 Note 8's and within 3 days the screen has broken. Most recent the phone was dropped face up in the grass and the screen broke. I think the curved glass is not what the note 8 needed. I believe the Note 5 was the best design as i have had it for couple years and not a single problem. If you have the Note 8 in your hand without a case it's very hard to use because of the curved glass. My opinion should have improved the Note 5 design and leave the curved glass to galaxy s series.

For what it was worth I loved the Note 7 and hated to have to give it back. I have since then been using the Samsung S7 but couldn't wait to get my hands on the new Note 8.In terms of design, gorgeous. Screen is amazing. Camera quality is fantastic, and as a film enthusiast I know a bit about cameras. It's preppy and opens webpages/apps nicely. All of this you'd expect, of course. But the software is horrendous. Glitchy, I actually had the phone freeze twice and reboot in my limited use of the phone. It was absolutely shocking. This is Samsung's newest phone- you've gotta be kidding! But I'm not. The bloatware is expected but I didn't think it would be that overwhelming. Regardless, I will be sticking to the S7 for now.
