Each camera quality is amazing, I'm very clumsy and dropped it countless times and all I have is a few scratches and a small corner crack, I purchased the phone 6 months ago and still works as new.

My only complaint is having to shut off notifications constantly due to all the different types of notifications for every single app it has! That gets old fast.

Got it about a year and a half ago, and it was a great thing, so many life changing things happened, I guess you could say the phone was illuminating. Although I know how to use real advanced settings even the basic stuff is good on the android. It does take getting used to on some aspects, sad to see they removed the jack on A53

I took one star for the Samsung account security that have no option of opting out and the apps that just randomly appear using my storage and uploading my data regardless of me opting out of per. ads

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone Great mid flagship phone for the price. I got the phone for like $250 on Amazon. The phone has 120hz display which is insane for a regular $500 phone. The camera is pretty good especially if you're not crazy about having the best. The battery lasts all day. The phone is fast especially after the android 12 update which fixed much some speed issues. Lastly the dobly atmos sound is great especially if youre watching a show in bed. Just an overall great phone with features not even on higher tier phones!

It seems unable to wake up properly when I set a timer - frequent overruns of several minutes before it starts beeping. Now it won't charge up because it thinks there's moisture in the USB socket. Back to Motorola for me.

The phone automatically makes it impossible to save ANYTHING downloaded from the internet straight to the sd card. They call this a "feature" but in reality it is completely annoying and prevents you from using the phone how the user wants!!!! If I knew this would have went with LG. I highly recommend not buying if you like to use sd card as default storage. TERRIBLE!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORST PHONE EVER! I purchased the Samsung galaxy a52 5G and it only lasted 7 months (may 2021), the phone would not charge. I sent it in for repairs thinking that it was still under guarantee, the tech repairs voided the guarantee claiming that it was water damage inside. The phone has never been in water, and now I have to pay for the repairs or buy a new phone. First and last purchase I make with Samsung phones. Never agan. Worst phone ever!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got a bad flaw in the power button My wife bought A52 5g and she was take n the film off of the new phone and the power button fell off so I put it back in and it worked fine for 3 days and she lost it again it took us 2 hours to find it its so tiny. Stuck in back and it would not power up. Plus there customers service is terrible it took 3 days and 4 1/2 hours on the phone jerk n us from tech support to sales to get a return label. I wood never use them again. So beware of the A52 5g a bad design . My wife loved that phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moisture detector... Bought A52 5G just over three weeks ago. It was ok overall, and cameras are pretty nice. However, moisture and dust detector in the charging port is hyper-sensitive and its warnings can last for days at a time without obvious cause. Eventually it goes into constant "moisture/dust detected" mode and no amount of drying, cleaning and waiting will change that. The problem is that moisture/dust warnings prevent the phone from charging. At all. Which, naturally, results in the phone being non-functional. At all. About as useful as a brick. Now I'm waiting for a wireless charger to arrive. If it works - downloading my photos from that phone and exchanging it as soon as possible for literally anything that doesn't have moisture/dust detector. A disaster. Such a shame that an overall decent phone is rendered easily the worst I've ever had (naturally, since it's now dead!) by that "brilliant" moisture/dust detector "feature"...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic phone I've had my A52 5G for several months now and it's worked flawlessly. I'm a little hard of hearing so I chose this phone because it has 2 external speakers AND an audio jack. I primarily use my phone for - drum roll - PHONE calls, with some texting thrown into the mix. I use WhatsApp, Telegram and conventional texting and they all work flawlessly. I've used the phone as a mobile hotspot and can confirm that it does a great job on that score as well. I wish it had Samsung Dex built in but I notice that Android 11 Desktop mode is present in Settings and it's one of the things I have yet to test. One of the most impressive features is the absolutely amazing recharge speed. It really does charge very quickly. Altogether, I strongly recommend this phone! Very happy I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I purchased this a few months ago looking for an affordable alternative to Samsung's S flagship line. Today, I was listening to spotify on my phone, I put my phone on the desk, leave, come back, and now the screen is black with a portion of the screen displaying a bright white line (right hand side). Any attempts to hard reset, I am greeted with the initial startup screen, then the vibration signaling it's booted to OS. I hit the power button, still, same thing. I plug it in, attempt the same thing,. power + volume down button for 10-15 seconds. I am instead greeted with the charge percentage, accurately showing me how much batter there is left. Outside of these two screens, I cannot use this phone anymore. Countless forums have 0 visibility into this issue, it's not physical damage, because I even purchased a USB-C to HDMI adapter, and no dice. The phone is incapable of booting to safe mode because I must be able to interact with the prompts on the home screen after the power button and volume up is held. I cannot turn on file transfer mode for USB cables to troubleshoot it from the command line on my windows computer. I cannot find any software available to factory reset this device anywhere, not even Samsung offers this. I spent over 300 dollars on a phone that is now a paper weight.

I've been a galaxy owner since 2019 when I purchased the A20 and then the A32 5G and now this A52 5G and I don't see me switching to a different brand anytime soon. I've come to love everything about this phone and I've only had it for a few months so I'm sure I still have more to learn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prone to scratches I bought this phone to upgrade my old Sony Xperia XZ Premium. At first glance, the A52 looks amazing. It is big when you hold it, but I got used to it. It works great too. But the thing is, it's prone to scratches. I have only had this phone for 13 days, I used a phone protector but within just 8 days I already see scratches on the side. I'm someone who take good care of my phone, but this phone is just cheaply made. I had my sony for 4 years, no screen protector whatsoever, dropped it few times, spilled water, all kinds of things. But no scratches at all. But literally I had my A52 for 13 days, made sure I didn't let anything that could ruin it nearby, and I already see a little screen scratch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible experience I bought the first device a week ago and it had a screen defect, the return process was horrible and I had to basically purchase the phone again or wait 2 weeks to get a new one. I received my replacement and it had a defect where there was glue coming out of the frame and I do not have enough time to replace it once again since I am travelling. Horrible experience for what could be a great phone.

I love the performance, and the screen is wonderful w/ 120Hz. Battery easily gets me 6+ hours of screen on time and I am very pleased with this phone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will be returning... Have been using for a week. I have to charge it 2-3x a DAY! I dont heavily use it. I havent changed my habits since my previous phone or anything. I shouldn't have to charge it that often! Its a battery hog! And it lags and is slow when not using wifi. Don't get notifications on certain things sometimes etc. Very disappointed! Liked it since it come with 128gb storage inside and then you can get a SD up to 1T I think to put in it. But i can't deal with a phone that you have to charge multiple times a day etc. I work in healthcare and need my phone! Maybe I just got a lemon I dont know. But i been having issues with ordering stuff from Samsung now after ordering this phone just fine so Im just going to return it buy a phone and watch elsewhere.

The phone has had the moisture detected notification on it these last couple days, and it has been nowhere near water or dust or anything. I haven't been able to charge it at all, and it doesn't have wireless charging, so I basically have no phone right now.

I love everything about this phone and all the features! I especially love the camera-way better than Apple by far. Pictures are crystal clear even in dim lighting. Also, it has a headphone jack! The amount of features on this phone for the price is a really good deal and I'm super happy I made the switch from apple back to android!

It’s fast, has a lot of advanced features, and has great reception (I can reliably make calls from my house now, couldn’t with my prior phone). Samsung’s revision to the Android settings menus took a little getting used to, but after that was powerful and intuitive. Samsung is also a bit heavy-handed in trying to steer you into their universe of apps, etc., but everything is fully customizable and with a little bit of setup I was able to get exactly what I wanted from this phone. I’m a loyal convert to Samsung after buying this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I wanted to downgrade to have a little extra cash in my pocket and I am thoroughly disappointed with Samsung. I have contacted their helpline time and time again to help with the issues I have. I bought this phone brand-new and within a month the flashlight stopped working. I can no longer take flash photography or a flashlight. Apparently, this is a common issue. I wanted a replacement or refund and they said they cannot do it, seriously? It is still under warranty. On top of that, the internet connection drops, Bluetooth always disconnects, my voice sounds like I am underwater during phone calls (according to friends and family), and so many other issues. I take great care of my phones, but this is just a bad phone. I have used Samsung phones since the S4, this may be the last one... Do NOT BUY

Camera takes good pics in very low light conditions. Macro will take really close up pictures that are sharp and clear.. Regular pics are bright, sharp, and have great color. Downside issues: Zoomed pics look like they are digitally zoomed, not optically lzoomed (not really sharp). Enlarging an image shows "fringing", or "halo" effect from to much compression. The system in this phone is a little slower than I expected.. Last, the touch screen can be extremely touchy and that can be good or bad.. Overall... a very good camera unless you have very sophisticated needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistant Problems I purchased this phone in June 2021. I have had constant issues with wifi and connections with this phone. Now just today it decides it will no longer connect via wifi or LTE to my gmail account and for hours keeps giving me a message that it is trying to sync. I tried resetting wifi, mobile date, all the usual steps and it just stopped working. Guess I have to reset the entire phone and reload everything. Honestly, my less expensive Moto G phones work 90% better than this thing. Horrible phone. My first and last purchase with Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrific speech to text Poor speech to text ruins the entire phone for me, as that is a feature I use all the time. Many times, it won't record my voice. When it does, it twice repeats words and parts of sentences I say. It doesn't just not print the words out right, it adds in words in words I never even said. It doesn't just not print the words outright, it adds in words I never even said.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just pick the assistant that's the best Why does Samsung copy everything Google and Apple do (or vice versa)? I set up my phone to use the Google offerings, ie, auto fill Goole password, but the Samsung system during an update or something will somehow now have a lot of my passwords that were in the Google Password account, and sometimes my Google assistant is off but now Samsung Bixby is on. And it's like Samsung and Google don't seem to care that there systems are competitors, 1 of the systems should end up being the winner but that's usually not the case, it's a mishmash of things from both and neither side likes that there is no clear winner but they keep updating their systems so they look like their doing something to help the consumer but it just keeps everything the same. That's why I don't think I want another Samsung. My phone has 2 assistants, and Samsung internet browser and Chrome browser, Samsung mail, Google mail,. I don't want to keep having to search all of the stuff to find out where my mail, and other things are. So I think it's time to stop settling for mediocre and go for a winner, and it could be Apple

The galaxy A52 is an amazing smartphone with great build quality and lots of handy features! I like the all day battery life, the 128gb storage, 6gb ram, and fast charging! Also this is an amazing samsung galaxy to get into 5G and explore the limitless possibilities! The main reason I like the 5G Is because it's blazing fast and how it's a game changer since It can play console games smoothly from xbox gamepass ultimate, stadia, playstation remote play and other mobile games like league of legends wild rifts! If you're looking for an amazing samsung galaxy smartphone without spending so much on high end phones this is the way to go! (^v^)b

Saved a lot of money and have not noticed any loss of features or performance. The sole exception to me is that the A52 doesn't have wireless charging. Come on Samsung, make that happen
