Built for mobile productivity in the field or on the sales floor, the Samsung Chromebook Pro is a 3-in-1 workhorse featuring a 360° rotating screen and built-in Pen. Samsung Chromebook Pro 510C24I - 12.3" - Core m3 6Y30 - 4 GB RAM - 32 GB SS is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not great This Chromebook has all the features to be great. Fast processor (for a Chromebook), 2 in 1, garaged stylus, beautiful screen. The price is even reasonable given the list of features. Some reviews complain about the keyboard but I find it perfectly serviceable, especially for a laptop of this size. I like the small footprint so I am willing to trade off a bit on the keyboard. The track pad works well although the click takes a bit too much pressure and is only available in the bottom 2/3 of the pad which can be annoying.Where the Chromebook Pro really falls short is its use of a much older kernel which means it does not yet have Linux program support through crostini. It really makes no sense because the Plus version uses the newer kernel. If or when the Chromebook Pro gets Linux app support it will be the best Chromebook on the market given its features and price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slim and light, and very solid, good performance Physically the CBP is absolutely lovely, one of the best laptops I've ever used, and amazing at this price point. The all-metal construction makes it very stiff and solid, but it's also amazingly light and slim, and is a pleasure just to carry around in your hand. The screen is an absolute delight, bright, contrasty, and very high resolution (you cannot see the pixels), better even than what Apple uses. It doesn't have an automatic brightness adjustment though, so you have to use the brightness keys if e.g. you bring it into sunlight. The performance is pretty good for typical ChromeOS use, you can have lots of tabs open, and everything is very snappy and responsive. Android apps work very well, and those I've used performed well; I've used a few games, and those worked well, but the unit got rather hot while running them, and GPU-heavy games might not fare so well. I also like the keyboard quite a bit, the feel is quite good for a shallow laptop-style keyboard, the only negative is that the backspace and tab keys are kind of narrow. The main downsides are: 1. It only has 4GB of RAM; this is enough for typical ChromeOS use, but more is always better. 2. It doesn't have Crostini support. This is probably only an issue for some people, but I'd like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and handy Chromebook! I had been looking for an upgrade to my Samsung tablet A and when I decided on my Chromebook Pro I knew that I had found my new tablet! One of my favorite things about this Chromebook is that the hinges allow users to fold back the screen and when in that mode it becomes a tablet! When in tablet mode the keyboard is auto-locked so there aren't any accidental keystrokes. I also love the fact that this chromebook is also a touchscreen. Great tablet!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracked Screen Up until now, I have been very pleased with my Samsung Chromebook Pro. Purchased Nov. 27, 2017, it is now just beyond the manufacturer's warranty period and the screen has developed a vertical crack from the top to the bottom of the screen about 1/4 of the way in from the left side. Seems like everytime I purchase a Samsung product, the product breaks or fails right after the warranty ends. This is so very sad and depressing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Chromebook, Why No Linux Support? The Samsung Chromebook Pro is arguable the best chromebook for the money on the market right now. My wife and I each own one and we truly love them. We only turn on our Windows laptops when we need an application that doesn't yet run on Chromebooks. Many of the missing Chromebooks apps are available as Linux apps, but sadly, the Samsung Chromebook Pro will not as YET run Linux apps. It seems illogical that cheaper less popular Chromebooks DO run Linux apps, but not the Chromebook Pro. Samsung needs to work with Google to expedite the changes needed to bring Linux apps to the Chromebook Pro. Once this happens, I'll change my rating from four to five stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great hardware but not worth it I´ve been using this device for almost a year....and luckily a month ago someone at least post a method for installing windows 10, the hardware is amazing....fast enough, full of great features like the pen, the touch screen, the rotating keyboard, but too expensive for only having 4gb ram and 32gb rom....if this device would have 8gb ram and 128gb ssd even for 100 extra bucks would be the best laptop even
