Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful ChromebookReceived as a Christmas gift in 2017, and this Chromebook has helped me stay organized and productive. Granted, in the meantime that's mostly been hobby work, but still! It's super portable and works great, especially for the price point. Not absurdly powerful, so if that's what you want look elsewhere; but if you want something to browse, organize, and create literary work with then you can't go wrong! I only wish more Android apps were Chromebook compatible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value and a Top Performer!I chose this Samsung product over some worthy competition because it had double the onboard storage of most other Chromebooks. I wanted the speedy boot time and quick access that a Chromebook provides and this one truly delivers. It has been completely trouble free and is well built, with no apparent problem spots. Setup is a snap, access to websites and email is jiffy quick, and the display looks great. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung ChromebookReally like the chromebook. Two features are missing: the caps lock and delete key. Did not realize the omission when I ordered it online. If I would have known before about the deleted keys, I may not have purchased it. However, I happy with my purchase now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Basic BrowsingAs the title says it's great for basic functions. This isn't a power user machine, but if you saw the specs and thought it was then that's on you.To clarify an issue someone else mentioned - The charger seems loose and falls out. You need to click the charger in with a bit of force. At first i thought it was odd, but quickly realized this. If that is their only issue hopefully this solves it for others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute Love! After My Son crashed the HD on my last laptop, I began my search for it's replacement. I've owned several high end laptops in the past, all in the hands of my 3 kids now, and my wife uses my old Macbook Air. when looking to purchase a new device I spent a lot of time online researching all of the many different options available. So I thought about the reasons i "needed" a computer since i use a desktop at work , read the news and watch videos on my tablet and spend more time than i should on my Android phone. since I am an Android fanatic and my last computers have used windows or mac Operating systems, the idea of a Chromebook was very appealing. After all I primarily use a computer at home for paying bills, creating spreadsheets, checking emails, making my schedules and writing. After spending even more hours reading articles and watching youtube videos now about chromebooks, I knew this would meet my needs and being a tech nerd I wanted one. So now what was I looking for in a Chromebook? One the most bang for my very limited buck. Two something lightweight and portable as I walk on a cane due too injury. three fast with enough storage although we live in the "cloud" these days. After spending many hours on line and checking out the big box office supply and electronic stores where I had time to get my hands on experience. I decided on the Samsung Chromebook 3 with 4gb ram and 32g of storage. This was everything I was looking for and then some. When I got home and unboxed it I was very impressed with the compact size although the screen is plenty big and the full size keyboard ( in comparison to my Macbook Air) perfect size for me. For an inexpensive computer its fast. the build is solid and I think beautiful and ergonomic. since I live in the Google ecosystem it took very little time to setup, about the same as setting up a new smartphone. Soon enough I had all of my pictures and docs thanks to Google Photo and Drive. My email was all right there as well as my Google docs and spread sheets. It could not have been any easier.some of the other things about this model that i like, Great sound for 2 small computer speakers, beautiful screen, Keyboard is amazing as well as trackpad functions. 1USB 3.0 that Ican connect my phone to, another USB, HDMI port Headphone jack and a micro sd card slot. Oh yeah this model also has the Google Play Store! All of this for an awesome price! I hope I'm not forgetting anything because the list really does just go on and on. Yep I could not be any happier with my purchase. Absolutely Love This Chromebook Life!!!! Buy this and you will NOT be dissapointed. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointment in a Box.Got one for Christmas...I will say the battery life is unbelievable. 10-12hr not an joke. Well that concludes all the good things. I hate this thing. The Bluetooth is all messed up. In not sure it even has the parts. The launcher that you can't replace as default is the most unfriendly, underdeveloped piece of junk ever. The android settings are stripped to the bone. Transferring files is a nightmare. And Idk if I have integrated my sd card or not. I tried installing some apk files. I get turn on development mode which is on already over and over. Error mounting Linux , over and over. I would love to throw this thing like a Korean nija star at a dog or something. The 180 screen is useless and the trckpad sucks. I will never...oh wait....why does samsung not appear anywhere but in the lid. I mean no where, Not an app, logo, screen saver nada. I will never buy samsung again. That battery is good though. It is also making my divorce easy. Thanks samsung

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Choice for people who love computersFrom an aesthetic point of view, the edges, color, and keys make it look like the designer put no thought into this. The bezels are super huge for a small computer and they are not it. This chromebook is also very slow, something you would not expect from chrome devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All i could ask forI got it as a gift about a year ago and it's honestly great. Battery still lasts long, performance is still the same, and the software has only gotten better with updates. Incredibly appropriate for students
