A must have for gaming/ Etc. Works great with Battlefield 2042, Grand Theft Auto V, Fallout 4 , Fallout 76, and my windows 10 pro operating system all works great. 970 EVO Plus 500GB possible S.M.A.R.T. error or ?
I bought this in May 2019 and Smart data shows POWER ON COUNT 135, POWER ON HOURS 1915, TOTAL HOST READS 4593, TOTAL HOST WRITES 208885. Even Samsung Magician is showing 204TB written. This is a system drive in a light duty home computer used to browse internet.

Samsung Migration Software Does Not Work
My PC has a 120 gig SSD connected via sata. I want more storage with a PCIe x4 data connection. I purchased the Samsung 970 EVO and plugged it into my motherboard in the m.2 slot. The problem came when I ran the Samsung Migration software. It errors out when it tries to migrate the data from the SSD to the 970 - very disappointing. The Samsung website offers no support. When I search the internet, I find that many other people have the same issue and recommend using other migration software. Samsung needs to address this problem.

3x 2TB Samsung EVO PLUS NVME M.2 SSD in RAID0
Upgraded my MSI GT76 Titan DT-039 notebooks 3 PCIe 3.0 slots w/ 3x 2TB Samsung EVO PLUS NVME M.2 SSD's in RAID0 to have a 5.588 TB system drive. Unfortunately, the notebooks BIOS uses Intel Rapid Storage Technology to set up RAID array so the performance merely matches the performance specs of a single 2TB 970 EVO PLUS. I thought combining all 3 2TB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS into a RAID0 array would improve performance over a single 2TB 970 EVO PLUS but it didn't on my notebook. However, I'm glad I did it b/c now I have installed all my pc games, movies, videos & pictures & still have over 5.072 TB of unused drive space to spare. The only thing that surprises me is that the latest version of Samsung Magician doesn't recognize the 3x 2TB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS in RAID0 and refers to them as "RAID0 Volume (Unable to detect) drive not supported" but I can still run Samsung Magician performance benchmark on them in RAID0 array. Perhaps the performance will improve once MSI provides driver update to the notebooks Intel Rapid Storage Technology but either way I'm still pleased w/ these 3x 2TB 970 EVO PLUS in RAID0 array.

When it comes to hard drives there is a lot of misconception for a consumer who is not tech savvy. Most people do not know what the difference between a SSD, M.2, and HDD are. Well, I got this for you and I will explain. So HDD (Hard Disk Drive) is one of the first drives to be created for storage properties. The way they work is kind of like a record player, there are black disks inside the case that spin and get read by needles on a stick. The faster the disks spin the faster the information is read or written depending on what you are trying to do at the time. Back around 3-4 years ago the standard speed was 7200 rotations per minute (RPM), but some cheaper computers shipped with 5400 RPM. Gamers who wanted to have a faster hard drive to have games loaded faster and games installed faster (before SSD was available) would opt for a 10,000 RPM HDD. Along came SSD, and by no means was it cheap, but, it had speeds of 10X faster than a 7200 RPM HDD. This made it very popular for gamers and high end video and photography editors. But, as all technology does, it got cheaper over time and now it is hard to find a laptop that does not ship with a 256gb or higher SSD . The way they were able to speed up the technology was to remove the spinning disks and went for a computer chip instead. It is essentially like RAM in terms of being read. Shortly after SSD came M.2 and this really only changed the way it was physically plugged into a computer, which is through a PCI-E slot. But this increased the read/write speeds as well. This hard drive I was able to use for the past two weeks is phenomenal. This boasts read/write speeds up to 3500/3300 MB/s, (compared to a HDD of 350 MB/s! with 7200 RPM). It can have up to 1TB of storage on a chip that is not much larger than a flash drive. and comes with an unheard of 5 Year Warranty. And to top it off it comes with a free software that gives user-friendly resources to let you know if there is something wrong, or, just give you information you might need or want. In conclusion, for those of you that are looking for a hard drive that is not only reliable, fast, compact, and coming from a reputable brand, but something you will know to be your first choice, then choose this 970 Evo Plus hard drive. Happy at first, now frustrated with unreliability.
Bought this less than a year ago and was very impressed with the performance. All of a sudden one day windows wouldn't boot up. Swapped out another hard drive and reinstalled windows on that instead. Booted it up, detects the 970 Evo 1tb in the bios, but when I go to windows there is nothing. Was able to open the drive momentarily through "this pc" but nothing could be opened or moved or changed. Tried to format and would not let me. Drive is set to read only and I cannot take it off. Samsung magician detects it and its running a scan now, getting all sorts of bad sectors. Trying to figure out how the warranty works on this because this drive should not be dead already.

Compatability?
where can we see the compatability information? i'm using a fairly new dell g5 15 se 5505, with a ryzen 9 4900h. it currently has a 1tb ssd and an empty slot for a 2nd ssd. i would rather upgrade the machine by putting this in that vacant slot instead of adding a 2nd dell ssd. it calls for a m.2 pcie nvme class 40 2280, which i see this is (except the class 40 part i am not sure about). does that automatically mean that i can use this one in my machine?

Issue occues right after return windows ended
i'm getting bsod randomly and i found that it's because of the ssd problem. i used samsung magician and hd tune pro to scan the ssd then i get bsod every time during the scanning process in both software. my pc doesn't detect the ssd after bsod, i have to completely power off it then turn it on again to make the pc be able to boot. it's worse since i couldn't request service online, got error before submitting the issue every time.

We needed more space. We love to travel and take tons of pictures have and videos that we want to keep safely. I have previously lost pictures with my laptop not working. We got this Samsung memory card and put in an external shell. It is amazing!! We were able to add all of our photographs and videos of all our vacation destinations and have room to add stuff (next destination : Thailand) The interface is very easy to use and the files are simple to access. This is a fantastic product and I will recommend it to anyone looking to save their precious files of any type.

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB
The Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB has been an interesting review. I have been using the little drive as a super fast USB-C portable drive. This V-NAND Drive really is the ultimate performance champ. The physical drive Design is no larger than a stick of gum, yet has an amazing speed and storage capacity. Since it is a solid state memory storage with no moving parts, the durability is also very high. The enclosure I used is an aluminum enclosure I can hide my pocket or bad. The enclosure I am using allows me to use this drive on both OSX and Windows. I have not had any errors or slowdowns with this drive and it has performed stable and trouble free. I use is mostly to transfer large video files for editing and works flawlessly. The Samsung Magician software was helpful in getting my firmware updated and allows me to see my other internal SSD drives on my computer at the same time. I have only used about half of the 256GB of the drive yet it has shown no slowdowns or delays. Although the drive can achieve sequential read/write speeds up to 3,500/3,300 MB/s, my USB-C portable system has only allowed me to get slightly over 1100MB/s. This is not the drives fault, it is the way I am using the drive. Overall I love this drive for the small size and slim slender profile. I would highly recommend it.

This thing is great, and fast!
This SSD made by samsung is the size of a stick of gum. I installed it in my PC with no issues and started using it and it's really fast. 250 gb was just enough space. Games work perfectly with the reliable SSD. Now that I have it, I could never go to another computer that doesnt have it.

Amazing Drive for Gaming
I have a PlayStation 4 the original not the pro and as such it has a regular drive not the SSD. Now honestly the PS4 is a great system and is fast and good with storage. But I never realized how much better could be with the Samsung 907 EVO plus M2 drive. Everything ever since has improve which is a bit mind boggling. Obviously storage is expected with 250GB but also performance, speed and gaming experience was so much better. And its quite easy to replace and set up, there are many YouTube videos out there to replace your hard drive with and SSD that have detailed step by step instructions. I would highly recommend this product to everyone not only those who want to improve gaming experience like I did but also for those who want to improve their experience on a computer.

speed was good initially but after a few weeks it slowed. my serious concern is that it runs quite hot, even with heat sink it was running at 61 degrees celsius. hope it doesn't fail soon.

I bought several of these and use them in my laptop and also on my external drive, it is fast, no sound and the biggest I bought is a storage backup 4T SD drive. lighting fast for office files, dpf images. I recommend to keep all one brand, all my electronics are samsung and easy compatibility. One went bad and got it replaced could not fix it. Fast service.

really fast loading times
I bought the ssd to be the main storage for my operating system on my new pc and primary storage since i didnt buy another or a hard drive, but the speeds are crazy fast. im i play the same games as on my ps4 (Borderlands pre,2,3, outriders new horizion, watchdogs, fallout 4, and i usually have to wait like a min or so during screen transitions or cut scenes and would usually check my phone during this time but i cant do that with these high speeds. The transitions stick around for like 3 seconds and im back in. I got it before the 980 came out but im planning on getting it anyways and switching the primary storage for those fast load times.

I had a 500 gb 970 Evo Plus in my #2 PC, a PCIe Gen 3, so no need for a faster Gen 4 SSD. I wasn't able to determine why the SSD was 3/4 full, as to what programs to remove, so I bought 2 1tb drives, and cloned one over. I did the same with my lpatop, removing an addlink SSD, which had slowed down considerably. The 970 achieves ~3570/3250 max speeds and may have been just as fast in the laptop. I have two 980 Pros in my #1 PC, which are also rock solid. I use Magician to clone the drives over, and to make sure the latest firmware is installed, so as to avoid potential issues, such as the recent problem that was made public about some 980 or 990 drives failing or acting up. I got these for a great price.. I'm reminded that I had the first NVMe drive, the 950 Pro. Cost over $300 for it back in 2016 or so, at only 500 gb. Somehow, I sold it a couple years ago, for $100!!!!

Watch out for the 970EVOPLus
i bought this ssd for two reasons: 1. i had an excellent experience with a similar drive in my hp laptop. 2. i was not happy with another ssd i bought for my dell xps 8900 desktop.
before installing, i contacted samsung to make sure it should work, and i was assured that it would. i used the samsung data migration tool to clone my hard drive, and then added the magician software.
everything seemed fine, but the ssd would not initialize, and it never did, so i returned it.

my computer starts in under 10 seconds from a cold start and a restart is like 3-4 seconds. Applications open up in an instant. Processing happens in blink of an eye like 3d designing using CAD. All this was possible after switching to the 970 Evo plus SSD 1 TB. I have it installed in the NVME M2 slot and did install a heatsink with an active fan on it. A few months ago, the fan died and I was afraid of overheating. But as it turns out, the existing ventilation in my tower casing is enough with just the heatsink on the SSD. I was so impressed with this SSD, that i brought more and changed my laptops to this SSD from a 3.5 inch SSD! I have become so comfortable with my fast and crisp computer that now I get frustrated in my office as the computer there is "slow". Don't say you weren't warned!

Speeds are easily that advertised (e.g. 1.6GB/s on image backup). Quality SSD and controller. Samsung Magician does not work, though the driver software does. After removing Intel RST, speeds increased to advertised. Make sure you are not using the Microsoft generic M.2 NVMe drivers (again for speed reasons). Wish it came with M.2 screw, but no OEM does either.

Nothing much I could really say except Samsung products are exceptional! I upgraded from a 500GB Evo Plus and I just needed more memory. The Data Migration tool Samsung offers for free made it easy for me to clone the items from the 500GB SSD. This is extremely fast and it'll get the job done from playing video games, to editing videos, to ensuring everything opens up SUPER fast.

i bought 970 evo plus 1tb ssd a month ago nearly im very impressed with its performance its speed is as advetised even a bit more (read/write) its my second samsung ssd i use one as boot drive(980 pro 500 gb) but my pc is also decent enough (sadly not pcie 4 but still ok ish)

Speed is the name of the game
so far the ssd is working very well. i have been trying to register my purchase but have been unable to log into my account. when i tried it said i needed to change the password. i have requested that but await response the program said email would be sent.
i also have question about setting the sata express to m2. which i did but when i went back in to check the bios it had reverted to the sata express state

Excellent SSD. I used this to upgrade my existing Dell laptop XPS13-9360 which had a 256 GB SSD. The Dell associate was really helpful on confirming the compatibility of the SSD with the laptop configuration I had. Installation was very easy. I coupled this with battery replacement as well. Wow the laptop has a fresh life in it now. No complains with the SSD - speed, thermals, quality - all good

Used for my new gaming PC, works great.
My old PC used a hard drive and was incredibly slow to start. Recently made a new PC and decided to buy Samsung's 970 EVO Plus and the difference in starting my computer is insane. Went from waiting 5 minutes to be able to log in to being able to log in immediately after turning on my PC. Very satisfied with my purchase.

i got this to replace my 250 gb drive that came with my computer. after three weeks i find the 970 evo plus to be much quicker than the stock drive. in addition, quality is much better as the stock drive was built with minimum quality parts.
i definitely recommend this drive if (like me) the 980 pro is out your price range.

Fast SSD to help with gaming and productivity
Had been using the Samsung Evo Plus 970 NVMe 250GB SSD for the past month. Got it to add as a boot drive for my new PC build. The box came packaged well, and doesnt have any chance of slipping from its slot while shipping. For the first week, havent finished the build yet, so started using the EVO Plus using the external Samsung X5 SSD shell, by replacing the existing hardrive that came with the package. The speeds are much better on the Evo Plus, compared to the default drive that is in the X5 with speeds over 30% to the default drive. When testing the read-speeds, it was over 2GBPS, which is the highest I had seen on all the SSD devices that I have including the NVMe SSDs. Tested the speeds with Macbook Pro 15 with TBT3 and Alienware M15 with TBT3. Mac harddrive is over 20% slower than the Evo Plus 970 NVMe SSD. With Alienware M15, the write speeds of Alienware default NVMe drive is over 600Mbps for a 16GB file while the Evo Plus stayed at around 400Mbps. But the Read speeds for the same file is over 2.6Gbps for 970 Evo Plus, but around 1.7Gbps for the default NVME on M15(but also to consider is that the 970 Evo Plus is connected via TBT3 whereas the internal drive is connected to the motherboard directly, so expect that the 970 Evo Plus will have probably higher speeds when replaced the existing NVMe on M15. When plugged into desktop, on MSI Z370-A Pro, was able to get seq read speeds almost reaching 3000Mbps and seq write speeds around 2400Mbps, which is awesome as a basic boot drive and to have games load from the drive. I also have 2 secondary drives that use Samsung 860 QVO which have good speeds for data storage and read. Only thing I missed out on when getting the drive is that I didnt consider the size of games, so since I have only 250GB drive, restricted, but planning on upgrading the motherboard to be able to get two NVMe ports to allow plugging in another 970 EVO Plus The harddrive helps with quick and fast boot of the desktop, with under 2 seconds to boot and had no issues playing AAA games on high settings(Config is i7-8700K and 16GB 3000MHZ RAM and 2070 RTX) Pros: Fast Read speeds and Write speeds Cons: Could have some better heat sink to prevent it getting a bit hot, but going to get a new MOBO with heatsink to prevent this

Perfect Blend of Performance
After waiting 18 months for my new laptop I knew I needed/wanted to add additional storage to my new system. I compared the Samsung 970 to several other brands and they all fell short. This drives data transfer rate, SSD Endurance and warranty far exceeds that of other manufactures. I use it as my second drive to store all my data and I couldn't be happier with its response time. If you want performance, reliability, with a company that supports it customers this drive is for you.

Boot time doubled
With my old system and a 850 Evo as my boot disk, my boot time was 8-9 seconds. Now that's 32gb ram, 4790k CPU and gigabyte z97x Mobo. With a Asus Maximus hero xi, 9900k, 64gb trident ddr3000 and a 970 Evo plus....15-16 seconds. Have tried clean install and only drivers updates and still the same. Samsung magician states the drive is running at advertised speeds so not gonna hammer the issue but this being my first experience with m2 drives and I'm not that impressed. Maybe I'm missing something but temps are not a issue, stability not a issue, 970 drivers not a issue and OS integrity not a issue...nor bios settings. I would rate it a 3 star but it works and by no means is it slow but to double my boot time rates it at 3.5(4) stars. Would I recommend anybody buy a m2 drive over a standard SSD? Nope.

Bad drive for HP Laptops
1TB NVME 970EvoPlus failed in less than one year taking data with it on HP laptop upgrade. One drive informed me that data was no longer being saved. When drive went so did data on One drive. Service has been horrible, with ineptitude at install, long waits and all. I purchased as I heard good things on software. Software no longer recognizes failed drive. Return process is awful as well.

Very clumbsy install, I had to figure out myself.. Never could get the Samsung driver installed, Samsung_NVM_Express_Driver_3.3.exe.. is running on Windows driver. After I finally got it installed the PC booted in 20 seconds. Now takes about 45 seconds can't find out why.

The drive is amazing, fast, reliable, but be advised - you may need to pick up a thermal shield or heat sink depending on the model in which you're installing this. My Alienware m15 required a thermal shield, but they weren't available, so I used an after-market solution that is meeting the need.

super fast and excellent quality
I love this nvme ssd card because it is blazingly fast. I couldn't imagine my OS on a regular ssd or a especially a standard hard drive. Knowing that it is of the best quality and backed by an excellent warranty, which Samsung is known for, I can sleep at night like a baby. I love my computer even more. Easy installation with great long term performance
I have been running this SSD for more than 2 years now in my lab. This provided additional storage for my VM farm. The installation was quick and easy. The SSD has not failed me yet. I am constantly hammer it with reads / writes from constant access to databases and applications being stored on it.

I was literally blown away by this! I can get everything to open in record time now on my comp. I was having issues with multiple tabs and multiple programs. Not anymore! I can do whatever I want now on my comp without worrying about speed and memory. Very easy to install as well, literally anyone can do it with no issues. I play a lot of games on my computer and this makes it so much better!

I wanted to add this Samsumg SSD to my new Dell XPS 15 laptop computer. The factory SSD installed on the laptop was fairly quick, but the Samsung 970 EVO Plus is blazing fast! No other SSD can compare. With 500MB/s Seq. Read speeds and 2,300MB/s Seq. Write speeds, it makes multitasking and video editing a breeze. On my laptop, the read speeds were well over 2 gbps! My computer booted a lot faster, applications and programs loaded way quicker, and video post processing was almost 50% faster! I was so amazed by the performance. The only downside for me would be the storage capacity. I wish I had a 500gb or 1tb SSD. My laptop only has one slot on the motherboard so if I want more storage, I would need an external harddrive or upgrade this SSD to a bigger capacity. However all in all, this is the best SSD on the market today!

Be very sure you have a Laptop that is compatible. Customer Service had no clue and I went through a nightmare finally ending up with a new Inspiron 15 5000 and having to buy an external hard drive. This device is not compatible with the 5000 I have. It was an awful experience with Dell Customer Service.

Nothing much I could really say except Samsung products are exceptional! I upgraded from a 500GB Evo Plus and I just needed more memory. The Data Migration tool Samsung offers for free made it easy for me to clone the items from the 500GB SSD. This is extremely fast and it'll get the job done from playing video games, to editing videos, to ensuring everything opens up SUPER fast.

Works amazingly inside my DELL XPS laptop! It's super fast. I was afraid that it will be warm, but actually it is not. It was hot when I put it into external stick to transfer data, but inside laptop Samsung drivers don't allow it to go hot.

Samsung is the best
I had alot of issues with memory on the laptop and was always having to delete things just to make more room and things where even getting delete without me doing it with was not good since I work with my laptop. But now I'm able to work & i have like an endless supply of memory. Files transfers in & out with ease and with a quickness I haven’t found in other memory cards. I definitely have a better sense of security knowing things wont get deleted and will be there later.

I am surprised myself at my own lack of indecision regarding this purchase. I have daydreamed about installing a 1TB Nvme M.2 for as long as they have been introduced to us. First, I do not perform workloads of any kind on this PC, I added this 970 Evo Plus 1TB strictly for the thrill and hopeful increase of performance in basic media PC usage. Yes I am a gamer, I knew from research that M.2 has its charm but it will not turn a mediocre gaming experince into a new experience, rather various games will load content faster and I'm assuming here but as a result of this purchase I am the first one to load into every single game lobby, above mentioned is essentially the only noticeable differences I can observe. Yes write times are a bit faster than my Samsung Evo 250GB SSD, no it is not an incredible new experience in PC operation ( for me ). Moral of the story is after many, many hours of using this M.2 SSD I still cannot justify the $200 dollar price tag I paid, I just can't. In fact I am not positive that the Nvme hasn't actually had a negative effect on my gaming performance. I have a Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB 2400Mhz ram and over 2TB storage on my PC and even still I have to wait for simple user interface features in game to load, it is dissapointing. Before this M.2 install, being honest here, I ( did not have to wait on these load times for the user interface in game ), it is just strange. I am no expert so grunts and rolled eyes are understood, maybe I did something wrong but how hard should it be to install a $200 dollar M.2 SSD and just let it rock? I shouldn't have to rely on any software in this case to get that price tag's value, in my opinion. Granted my motherboard is one of the most sensitive, issue laiden motherboard I have ever owned but the M.2 slot is on the board so it should work without fault. If you are a gamer and or just using a PC for basic media performance please think twice before emptying the pockets on account of that pie in the sky. Get the best deal and expect a few basic performance increases but don't expect this thing to completely blow away your pre-existing Sata SSD performance in ( average every day use ).

This memory device is AWESOME.!! It's super fast on our computer and the computer was already fast but this.......... this took fast to another level. I'm only speaking word of mouth because my boyfriend put it in his computer that he built but it was an easy install and the storage capacity was just what he needed. It has yet to overheat so that's a really good thing too because he's ALWAYS on the computer doing studio stuff. I'd definitely recommend this product.

FINALLY HAVE STORAGE!
I just recieved my samsung 970EVOPlus 250GB ssd. Took apart my computer and installed it. I was amazed at the increase of speed I had after just starting up my computer. I am so happy to have the extra space on my hard drive now for storage. Being a college student and doing medical billing and coding the increase in space has made a tremendous difference from what I had before. The only problem I had was the installation of the device

Amazing, fast and reliable
When I got this SSD, I thought for setup in my laptop but I wanted to test it out. I got a enclosure and installed it. The only problem I faced was instructions. They are very vague when it comes to how to install or download the software. Finally we figured to download the Samsung magician software after calling Samsung. And it worked. Even though Samsung magician is hard to understand with no instructions in the manual. It took us a while to set the SSD with the software. But once it was installed, it worked with amazing speed. I think 250 GB is perfect for my use. I made partitions on Samsung magician for my kids photos and business. Still tons of space. It is Fast, affordable and amazing. I never thought of its speed will be that awesome. I use this SSD as my home based business. Since I spend doing 98% of my work on laptop. This 970 evo plus SSD saved my life. Thank you Samsung. I am always impressed with your technological innovations.

Fast enough PCEe Gen 3 drive.
For regular computing workload this is as fast as a PCE4 drive. There was a silent controller change that reduced write speed so do some research to see if this affects your type of workloads.

It is True Performance is awesome and speeds are real Gaming on this NVMe is the best fun. I am aware faster ones already come out for newer Motherboards but I EVGA Z490 Dark and love it how samsung makes such great products. I just receieved just today 02/22/2023.... 2TB Version of same one.

Fast and Easy System Transfer
This is my 4th NVMe EVO SSD and it does not disappoint. It is noticeably faster than my previous 970 EVO, which was also an excellent performer. Another great feature is the migration tool Samsung provides (download from web site). Transfer of Windows 10 system to the new drive took just 5 minutes and worked without a hitch.

very happy i bought this 2TB super quick drive running it in a PCIE to Thunderbolt 3 sonnet box. huge tip when i first tried to format on my mac book pro it wasn't working. so after a little bit of googling i update the firmware and now it works like a charm !

Super fast plenty of storage
My computer has so much stored on it from music to pictures and games. I have been taking all the pics from my cell and my husbands cell and just uploading them onto our computer hard-drive forever now. It was running slow, taking forever to complete new actions and switch between programs until I installed this bad boy. We now have plenty of memory and the speed at which it runs is super fast. Like its brand new and has nothing on it. It's so awesome. Our computer boots up so fast now and we are no longer waiting for files to upload forever like before and I dont have to choose what I want to keep and not keep to make room!

Disappointed with Samsung SSD Performance
I recently purchased the Samsung SSD to upgrade from my old SSD in my laptop. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. Despite the improved parameters of the new SSD, I've noticed a significant slowdown in overall performance.

I do not recommend this drive.
We had a high end computer built for us and this drive was in it. We have now had it replaced twice but I do not want to send the whole computer across the US again as shipping is ridiculous. We had the drive replaced locally and came for a warranty (since we have had it a little over two years) but since we did not buy the drive (we bought a computer) there is no proof of purchase and the builder did not itemize components - and since it has already been replaced once before (I have had the computer less than four years) even that information would be inaccurate. I have switched brands.

Works well, as expected.
What can I say? It works. My IT staff person performed the actual installation so I can't evaluate that procedure.
There was no problem formatting and encrypting it, and it has good performance.
But that's what I would expect from any quality SSD. The real test will be how well it performs in several years.
It was not the cheapest SSD sold, but I paid the extra price in order to get a Samsung SSD, which has a very good reputation.
