Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best charger I have ever owned!!! this super fast charger 2.0 is amazing!!! i have a samsung galaxy s20 ultra 5g and this charges it from 0 to 100 in exactly 1 hour. i have a 5,000 mah battery. you need a device that is compatible with this charger though. as far as i know, only the s10 plus 5g and s20 ultra can take advantage of the super fast charge 2.0. your phone will display super fast charging 2.0 while using this if it is.

Beyond disappointed in it. 1, maybe 2 out of 100 chargings the phone will actually say "super fast charging" but the rest of the time its just regular "fast charging". DO NOT BUY! DOES NOT WORK!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charges much faster, with realistic expectations Okay, first a primer on "fast charging"---a "fast charger" is MOST effective when charging from a low battery (say, 5-15%) up to about 50-60%. Remember that your PHONE'S charging electronics will govern the output from the power adapter. The 45W is the MAXIMUM it can output, but your phone may only request 20-25W or even less, depending on the battery levels and specific phone model. Most charging circuitry will automatically limit the current once you hit about 80% charge (it's why regardless of power adapter, your phone charges much more slowly from 80-100% than it does from 10-50%). So when you're sitting there with a stopwatch and analyzing a fast charger, you need to measure time from zero-to-80%, and NOT include ANY amount of time after that, as your phone will govern that, not the charger, and pretty much all chargers will report similar times above about 80%. That said, this is a fantastic charger, and is excellent when you're already low and need a quick boost up to 50-70%. That's where high-power chargers like this shine, and this one does not disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BUY ONLY IF YOU OWN THE S20 ULTRA OR NOTE 10+ only the s20 ultra/note 10+ can charge at 45w with power delivery super fast charging. people just don't realize that. all the bad reviews are from people who do not own the s20 ultra/note 10+. when i first bought this charger my battery went from 20% to 80% in 20 mins, 80% to 90% in 12 mins, and 90% to 100% in 13 minutes for a grand total of 45 minutes for a basic full battery charge! as you can see the main benefit of this 45w charger is the 20% to 80% in only 20 mins for topping up on the go. this means you never need to charge your phone overnight! s20 ultra is the fastest phone on the planet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 stage charger its a 2 stage charger. 45w charge up to 70%. then slow charge to 100% to prevent battery damage. So if you do 0-100, it will be similar to lower w charger. 0-70 would be way faster.

When switching from there regular charger to this 45w charger, the charge time drops from 108min to 100-103min. A whole 5min faster... total waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its 25 watt Charger Equivalent I had a instance on 11/14/2019 where my wireless charger did not charge my not 10 plus overnight. I plugged it in with the 25 watt charger showered etc, got ready to go and had 35 %. So I knew about this Charger and the negatives I read, but took the gamble on negative people who just did not try. I got the charger today the 15th, and i had 69% on the phone. Plugged it in with the 25 watt charger it said 39 minutes. I unplugged it and wait 60 seconds and plugged in the 45 watt charger and it said 39 minutes. I waited 30 seconds for it to change nothing, i walked away came back 3 minutes later it said 36%. Its no different in mu opinion. I will conduct further testing, by timing it from 25% to 100% and doing tge same with at 25 watt charger. If the outcome is positive this review shall change,but for now, unless you are well off stick with Amazon and there compatible chargers they sell at 1/8 of the price. Samsung should reimburse us in either $$ or points as we all purchase a charger worth $5. The note 10 plus if you use alot diesvery qui kly, iven with all the apps to nanage, im at 91% slready in an 1/2 hour. Hopefully they will get the drainers fixed. I dont play games, use wogk pugposes only which the Note is outstanding, few apps i which it coukd repaire and software issues with battery but you wont find a phone computer like this as of 2019... Hopefully it will get better each year..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another short USB C-USB C cord This was $50 so I thought samsung must pair it with a long USB C-C cord and not another useless short one that comes with the phone. Nope! It comes with the same cord as the S20 Ultra so you will have 2 while using at desk. The cord is so short and stiff that bumping into it even a tiny bit will result in it falling off a desk. You will need to spend $20-$30 extra on a cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure what Samsung intend to do with this! I bought this charger with the money back Samsung gave on Note10 plus. One of my main reasons to buy the Note10 plus was this "fast" 45W charger. I received it and was down immediately. Apparently I had high hopes that Samsung would provide something that others didn't yet! What were I thinking!!?? Most of people are not happy with the charger. The only people who are happy are the ones who are saying that you would feel the difference between certain numbers (less than 50%), but why on earth would anyone buy a $50 charger to not get full speed all the way!? The fact that neither Samsung nor famous review websites commented on the speed of the charger whether when it was announced or actually hit the market tells you something. Thank you Sami for another gimmick. Be ashamed of yourself. By the way I contacted Samsung who knew nothing about what I am talking about. Thanks to the reviewers on the internet who didn't raise their voices!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast but not quite what I'd call super fast Not sure what everyone is complaining about. I noticed what the phone tells you for time to full charge isn't what actually happens. I've been using mine for about a month now and used it when the phone dropped to about 10% and as high as about 75% to see the difference. Both start out slowly and seem to follow what the phone says for charge time. But after about 10 minutes the pace seems step up greatly. For example, at 10% the time to full was about 20 minutes less than what the phone was estimating. Not as effective if you start at 75% or more. But it's impressive enough at lower start percentage to warrant getting one for my wife who always seems to be at <25% because she won't connected the charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for Thunderbolt 3 charging This charger doesn't negotiate properly with my Dell XPS 45w laptop and only delivers 5v. Either Samsung or Dell has not implemented the USB Power Delivery correctly but the result is the same.. a limited use charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from See pic, super fast charging works on S20 Ultra !! See picture, I am using the super fast charger with Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, it shows "Super fast charging 2.0". The charging is super fast!!! Even though Samsung said this charger works with Note10+, I don't think it was not charging that fast. This charger still works with recent phones but it does not charge that quickly. Super fast charging really works with the S20 Ultra. So for those who are disappointed, you have to have the S20 Ultra or i think future upcoming phones to get true benefit of the super charger.

(effectively giving me a little over 30 watts of charging) it's slowing down a bit now that it's up to 25% charged, but still charging at 4.124 volts and 4889mA (18.5 watts)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 45w is a different beast This is a super fast charger, but what most people fail to understand is, it's not intended to charge your phone from 0-100% faster. Fast charging burns up the battery. Especially the last 20% of the charging cycle. So to care for the battery life it switches to slower charging, which when compared to the 25w charger it doesn't make a difference. Where this charger shines is if you're a person on the go and you only get 15-30 minutes to give you a boost to make it the rest of the day. People think batteries are like cars and charging is like putting in gas. Well it's not, the variable rates are necessary to keep the battery from overheating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from before you buy This Charger is FOR THE S20 ULTRA! it is compatible for s9 and above I believe but it wont charge at 45 watts... the S10 can charge up to 15 watts so it wont charge at 45 but at 15 watts, the S20 can charge up to 25 watts but not 45 watts so the charger you have now will not show much difference.. how ever if you charge it with the ultra. the difference will show!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with Tab S7+ bought this to fast-charge my tab s7+. works great! the tablet charges fully in about an hour and a half. i also use it to charge my s20+, although it only uses 25w max. works great! no complaints. highly recommend if you have a device that supports 45w charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a must have, but does what it's supposed to here's a time break down of why you need this 45w over the 15w. since almost no one explains in their review what device they use, this is for a galaxy tab s7+. 15w/45w from 0%: 30 minutes 15w = 17%, 45w = 44% 1 hour 15w = 35%, 45w = 85% 1.5 hours 15w = 53%, 45w = 100% 2 hours 15w= 71% 2.5 hours 15w = 88% 3 hours 15w = 100% the "speed" of the 45w is there until about 85%, after that charging is slowed for the safety and longevity of the battery. the % where it begins to slow will be dependant on the device. 90% of the user base that can make use of the 45w likely won't even need it. they either charge their device overnight or get by just fine with their included 25w. this charger is made for keeping you tied to an outlet for the least amount of time and coming out with the highest %.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unimpressive-Don't Waste Your Time purchased for a new s-22+. arrived today, is barely an improvement over the adaptive fast charger that came standard with my s10+. it is only marginally faster when plugged directly into the device, and will not wireless fast charge the device through a third party 30w wireless fast charger. the s-10+ adaptive fast charger will wirelessly fast charge the s-22+ through the sane third party wireless charging device, so despite all the bells and whistles, the 45w charger is substantially slower when connected through a third party wireless charger. i got this through a discount coupon for much less than the $50 usd retail price. nonetheless, it is still probably going to be returned, because it is simply not worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast charging, great product i bought 2 of these just over a year ago when i purchased the s22 ultra's for my wife and i. mine is still working great and my wife's stopped working about a week ago. it can take your phone from dead to 50% in about 20 minutes. we have since bought an off-brand 45 watt charger from amazon for half the price, it takes about 30 min to get to 50%, so not much slower, but not as good as this one. overall i recommend this product, though the price is a bit high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's like I bought 2 Charger's with this Charger. Bought this 45 Watt to be able to Charge my Brand New Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and also my new Galaxy S21 Ultra cellphone. So glad I bought the 45 Watt charger because this One "charger" can do BOTH Devices with Extremely FAST Charging Rates for My TWO Samsung Devices. I have the latest Samsung tablet the Galaxy S8, and it uses the 45Watt Fast Charge do to the big battery size it has. And my phone the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, which handles a Max Wattage of 25 Watt for it's Fast Charge. Samsumg removed the 45 Watt Fast Charge capability that the s20 had the year before and you're able to charge it 45 Watts and that's 21 came out Samsung decided to remove the 45 watt feature and reduce it to a Max 25 watt fast charge. I get the best of both worlds with this 45 watt charger instead of having two chargers only have this one that can do both charging rates that each device requires which are different between my two Samsung devices. I don't advise using any fast charger then Official OEM Samsung Charger. If you use any other charger brand, well soon enough you'll wish you didn't. I will say since the phone coast over $1200.00 Samsung should wither provide a charger or sell theirs for no more then $10.00 with free shipping. Because when you spend over a grand on a phone. A Screen Protector , a CASE and a Charger should all be STANDARD. Samsung isn't doing right by people in the last few years do to Samsung making people locate a charger elsewhere. Most people will go with the "Cheapest charger that they can find. And the majority of Samsung phone buyers are definitely Not going to she'll out another 50.00 plus Tax and Shipping for a charger. I found a OEM-Samsung wall charger for a bit cheaper elsewhere. Again things that should have come with the phone. This Samsung phones truly aren't worth more then $700.00 to $800.00 Max. It's crazy the Grand Plus Samsung wants for these devices nowadays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast charging on certain devices i have a samsung galaxy s7 tablet and a galaxy note 20, along with a galaxy s5 tablet. for the s7 and the note 20, it charges "super fast". the circle that shows up on the screen is blue instead of white, which indicates super fast when blue. also, notifications are shown stating this. with the s5 tablet, it is just a good charger, but normal speed. the charger is huge! so, take this into account with your power supply block space availability. it also gets pretty warm. do not use the charger all the time. my tablet, the s7, kinda freaks out if i leave it on for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Anyone actually meter 45W output, ever? I have an S22+ and 2 cables rated over 45W with poeer meter displays in the plug end. I do not have this charger but the "certified" PD 45W charger I do have never charges above 28 or 30W. Even on a Tab S8. Has anyone actually meter tested this Samsung charger and included cable combo with Samsung products? Has anyone ever clocked 45W output into the phone even for a second? Maybe they can do in a lab, but maybe in real world this is ....all false? Or if the only way is to use only the Samsung kit, which shouldn't be under the USB standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Bought this at the same time I acquired my S21 Ultra. Always charges fast. On average it takes 45 minutes to charge to full from around 20%. This wall plug-in gives me the extra juice I need in a small time frame. I have a 25W wall adapter that (obviously) doesn't charge as fast. After 1.5 Years, still giving the juice.
