Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absoultley Love the Rig 400 with Dolby AtmosHonestly, I have to say I have had turtle beach headphones and Astros in the past but with the rig 400's with Dolby Atmos program included makes my $80.00 pair of headphones feel like a $400 to $500 pair of headphones. Also there so light weight you dont even feel like your even wearing headphones at all and the comfort level, sound quality, and even when your in a party chat or just in a open lobby all my friends has told me I've never sounded so clear before. I 100% would definitely give the headphones a 10 out 10 if I could. Extremely happy with my purchase, trust me when I say spend the extra 20 to 40 dollars it is absolutely worth it and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Panasonic for making such a game changing product my gaming experience has never been better :

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headphones but...These are good headphones except both ear cups have come off. After they come off it’s a pain to put them back on. After getting them back together it doesn’t take long until they fall off again. I don’t know what to do at this point. It’s our second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound but broke jack !!!!Having had a number of headsets before I was looking forward to testing this headset out and I was not disappointed out of the box same high quality 40mm drivers the rig line is known for good quality cabling and good sound quality that we have become used to from the rig line up very comfratable over ear cups fantastic for long use sessions and good mic quality to boot The down side within normal use of removing the head phones from my pc the 3.5mm jack has snapped in half leaving half of the jack inside my pc headphone slot rendering both that slot and the headset useless. This is not the build quality I have come to expect from plantronics. I hope this is a one off issue and will still maintain my use of the rig line up but I was lift a little disappointed in this instance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Budget price, but not a Budget sound!I like my headset's and I own alot of them so this isn't my first headset. The sound is a good level of everything. This isn't too bad when to much bass can drown out other noises within a game. It's OK to have alot of bass when listening to your favorite drum and bass tune, but for your favorite shooter not so much. If listening in on those footstep is important to you, then these are great. The comfort on these are the best I've had. The RIG400 is so light it feels like it's not even on your head. The cups sits over my ears, however they're not that big so you might find them a little too small. Build is not bad. The RIG's don't feel like I would break them any time soon. I do own the older 780's. I've noticed that these RIG's have the same small ring of fabric between the fabric ear cushions and plastic driver cover. After two years this started to pill away. Sad to see it on these too. Now I want to talk about the microphone. When I connected into my PC I noticed it was quiet and my friends in TeamSpeak would say they like my old 780's better. I was a little upset. Well that was until I connected the headset to a USB adapter. Now it sounds just as loud and clear. It would seem my front IO isn't working. I would pick these over my HyperX clouds due to the better microphone.Great headset. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FALSE ADVERTISEMENT FOR PCRead the article left by Dylan R. The headset is marketed for PC, yet made for single jack computers. When 99% of gaming PCs are dual jack computers and they market it for PC gaming and send a Y splitter with the headset. It's kind of sketchy on Plantronics part. They should stay in their lane and sell mics for sales agents only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullI bought the plantronics Rig 400 headset about 5 days ago. WOW! The 40 mm drivers are really amazing and really help me get into whatever game(s) that I was playing! I love the rotating ear cups on the ear peices. I really like the inline slide controls very nice. I have a 15 yr. Old son who games really serious and he had nothing but good things to say after letting him use them for awhile. The removable noise cancelling mic. is AWESOME! Then remove the mic. and plugged it into my phone to listen to music the headset can really pump out some [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for with the RIG 400!!!This review is about the Plantronics RIG 400. First, I like to talk about the packaging. The Box it came in was designed well and the graphics on the box is a selling point. The black and gold colors on the box with gray background makes the product stand out. The material inside that held the headphones did its job and protected it and was easy to remove. The accessories were easy to access and was placed well in the box. Next, I like to talk about the appearance of the headphones. The Pros: The gold and black design looks good on the headphones and the overall structure of the headphones looks real nice. The inside removeable padded strap that will lay against your head is real soft and makes the head phones really comfortable. I like that its removable and I hope that Plantronics sell replacements for it so over time the customer can by the straps when they wear out. The foam ear pieces are really soft and fix snuggling over the ear. After hours of listening with them they still feel pretty comfortable. The overall sound is pretty good for the cost level of these head phones. They do a pretty good job of canceling out background noises too. The Removable mic works perfect and the fact that it can be removed is a really good feature. The Cons: If a person has a really big head or a really small head there isn’t much adjustments for them. The flexible inner strap does help but not sure if it will work for someone with a big big head. Also, I am afraid over time the plastic structure will break. The base sound levels could be little better. Also, the volume and mute button could be designed little better. In low light areas, it’s hard to see the volume and use it without turning on more lights to see better. Overall the RIG 400 headphones are good pair of head phones for the money. I worry the structure of them will eventual break when used by young rambunctious kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Lightweight and Great SoundI've has these for a few months and they work great. I've used them with my Xbox, phone, and PC without any problems. They weigh almost nothing so they don't put any strain on my head like other headsets I've had, and they break down super easy so they're good to travel with. Also, they survived a 60 mph pitch at my computer screen when I got really mad playing GTA. No complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, but that’s it.I’ve had this for about a year, and the mic is not durable at all. It has already broken. It twists to much. And the sound is too loud for the headset to handle. By that I mean, with an IPhone turned up all the way, and the headset turned to a little under halfway, I can hear fine, but so can everyone else in the car. But the headset is comfortable and sturdy, So I’d say 2 or 3, maybe 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely bad and unusableIt says on the box compatible with PC when it is clearly not. The company is not aware there is a separate port for the mic on a PC. Quite sad that they are attempting to make PC equipment and worse that i had to find out the hard way! Will be returning after 2 hours of owning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight Headset!I received this headset about three weeks ago, and I have been using it every day since. It is light and flexible for extended periods of use. The head strap works well in keeping it securely in place. It is easy to set up, you just plug it into the mic/headphone adapter then connect those to your computer. It also works with an audio splitter or audio amp, which is what I am using and will continue to use. The headset feels durable for how light it is. I definitely believe that this headset is worth its cost as a reliable daily headset. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A ReviewAs I have gotten older its become more important for me to have headphones that are comfortable when worn for extended periods. These headphones are very comfortable and don't make my ears get too hot.The sound quality is good in the variety of games I played whilst wearing them. From the groans of zombies on Dead Island, to the echoing passageways of a Space Hulk or to the tranquil sounds of farming in Stardew Valley these headphones performed well. The only slight concern I had with them is the noise the headphones make when you adjust them. It's just not a good sound even though I feel the build quality was good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality and ease of useThe sound quality is great and really helps to improve the immersion in games. The headset looks really good on and is sturdy enough to survive being dropped. The mic comes detached which allows you to use the headset as headphones which was a nice touch. The only negative aspect I could find is that the “muffs” are a little bit small and can cause discomfort after a longer period of wearing them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from some problemsThese are comfortable and sound good. But the detachable mic doesn't appear to fit correctly. Everyone I game with complains that I need to "fix my mic" because they hear a crackling sound. I push it in harder which fixes the problem for only a few minutes. I came to this website to see if I could buy a replacement mic (one that works correctly) but I don't see any.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Rig 400 for The PS4I don't have a PS4 So I can not comment on that part of it, I did attach it to the computer there were no drivers for the microphone, although the Audio from the headset was good, I attached it to an Olympus digital recorder the audio was clear enough with no back [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maximum ComfortI always have a headset on (10-15 hours a day), so comfort is my #1 priority. this is easily the most comfortable headset i have used (i usually get a new set every 6 months to a year). the mic is unobtrusive and has great pickup, and the cord is plenty long enough for almost any user without being too long for those needing a shorter cable. Sound quality is top tier, with no discernible distortion at max volume. a must have item if quality and comfort are your needs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality and comfy gaming headphoneJez, those are light! That’s first thing that comes to mind when you put those on. Despite the low weight, the plastic construction seems robust enough to survive normal use and occasional bad treatment. The mic is nice and flexible with very wide frequency pickup. The phones sound quality is surprisingly good. Adding the fact of the very attractive pricing which is probably down to a need to get into a very competitive market, this product is nothing else than highly recommended! I score the Plantronics 400 RIG -> 9 out of 10. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing price and comfort!Got this headset and right off the bat it feels great around my ears. I can wear them all day and my ears never start hurting. They look good too. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and light weightThe headset provides good quality sound and is very comfortable even during longer gaming sessions. The elasticated headband make the headset feels weightless and the adjustment options of the surrounding plastic is sufficient to make the headset fit all head sizes. The earpads are very compfortable however they do not compleatly surround my ears as I prefer. The mic is functional but kinda easy to misplace once detached. All in this headset is a great mid range option for a gamer on a budget. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RIG 400 Puts You In the GameThis headset is so super lightweight and comfortable, you'll soon forget you're wearing it. The flexible self-adjusting headband assures that it fits multiple users of various sizes while the earcups eliminate outside noise distractions. And the volume and mute controls are conveniently located inline. Much of my gaming is done solo so I like the removable/flexible boom micAs for the sound, it's clear and realistic, taking you into the game for an up close and personal gaming experience. The sounds are so real and refined. I think this is a great quality computer gaming headset with the feel of a substantial piece of equipment. In addition to gaming, It's also great for listening to music and anything online. Try it on your phone for talking or gaming you won't be disappointed! Awsome! I can wear it for long periods of gaming without any discomfort. The sound is impressive at this price point and the attached mic performed well. Mids and highs are crisp and clear and the low end delivers. Realistic, quality sound, a comfortable fit and the quality that Plantronics always delivers. Go out and buy these....you won't be disappointed! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Serious Step UpThe RIG 400 is a lightweight, comfortable headset. Initially, I wasn't aware that the earpieces could slot into three sections on the headband, and I felt like it was a little small. Once I realized I could change their location, I was able to move them down and they became much more comfortable. The earpieces have a wonderful foam that remains very cool - no sweaty ears here - and the sound quality is exceptionally clear. I use these exclusively for my PC gaming now.The microphone is actually quite nice, if a little different. Rather than a swivel boom, it is removable and connects via a 3.5 mm jack. The microphone boom is made of a sort of flexible cabling that stays exactly where I put it (though I normally use a desktop microphone), which is also very nice. Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Stars, Sound Quality is AmazingIn terms of sound quality, I can't fault these. I wouldn't use them for listening to music, but they are well balanced for gaming purposes. Really helpful when playing games that require you to be aware of those sneaking up on you.My only negative would be the plastic feels a little flimsy, but as long as you're not throwing them around they're perfect. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headsetI’m really pleased with this headset. Fit my head straight out the box though adjustment is easy. Ear cushions do suppress noise in and out (I couldn’t hear my wife and she couldn’t hear the game lol) the headband is a great idea so you don’t have a hard piece of plastic digging in your head. Really comfortable. My only gripe is the mic noise suppression, not the best but very good clear sound heard or recorded through it. Overall I think these are definitely worth the money. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, lightweight & comfortable gaming headset.First off, this gaming headset looks very stylish and the pictures of the box don't convey just how good the gold trimmed packaging looks. The first thing you're going to notice is how lightweight and comfortable this headset is. It's fully adjustable to fit any size head. These plug right into your 3.5 mm jack on your sound port of your computer and the sound is very directional so that you can easily hear footsteps in a game from your team mates or opponents which is very desirable if you are a gamer like myself. The microphone also sounds very good with full bodied sound which makes you easily understandable to your team mates. The speakers inside the headphones emphasize the audio range from the mid to high range and don't over accentuate the lower frequencies. The microphone can be easily removed and you could listen to these on your phone or other audio devices easily or leave the microphone on and use them to talk on your phone. You see these style headsets featured on the professional players during LAN events so just look for the "RIG" on their headsets. They also don't break the bank and would be an excellent present for your nephews and nieces for their birthday's or Christmas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty comfortable headphones with some nice featuThese are identical to the others I had reviewed however these don't include the Dolby Atmos feature. Same construction and features however. Inline microphone and volume controls are a must in my opinion so kudos to Plantronics for including this. One con to these is that the cable is quite short so for a PC gamer as myself these don't quite reach where I need them to however for a console gamer who may plug these into a controller these will be amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Gaming HeadsetThe headset is comfortable and a great upgrade from my previous piece. The plastic is a bit sharp but this is a budget headset in my opinion. I thought the two wires would irritate me but I didn't find this to be an issue. I've had a bit of feedback from my microphone being over sensitive but better that than it being too quiet!
