The Plantronics M70 Bluetooth headset is so lightweight and comfortable you may forget you re wearing it. During set up, you simply follow the voice prompts to select English, Spanish, or French for the audible status alerts on talk time, battery level, connection, and more. You can also control music tracks and volume without touching your smartphone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warranty Discrepancies I purchased two of these just under 2 years ago. Worked fine until yesterday when the volume up button stopped working. Looked the item up on the website and the product sheet shows that there is a 2-year warranty. I called and was told over the phone that the 2-year warranty only applied if the items was purchased in Europe. I am in Canada where apparently the warranty is only for 1-year. Offered no explanation why but left with a device that i am unable to use. Very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't get one to last longer than the warranty My old Plantronic bluetooth was great. it lasted 10 years and would have gone longer if my dog didn't get to it. I tried a few of the more expensive Plantronic bluetooths. They had issues fitting with glasses or short battery lives. Did great in windy or noisy environments but I needed one that could last a day without a recharge. The M70 had great battery life. Did horrible in windy or noisy environments but did go the entire day. The problem was they kept failing. They never outlasted their warranty period, which was good, but the hassle of filling out claims and waiting for a replacement was just too much. I had 2 units so I was never without one. I actually had a replacement fail within the 2 weeks I was waiting for the replacement of another failure. I have gone through so many, it can't be bad luck. I'm sure it's just a matter of time until these are discontinued. Plantronics has to be seeing what I'm seeing .... just a failed product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not noise canceling I bought this a while ago and was really happy with it at first, the battery life is quite outstanding. But then it started to lose battery really fast, and it is NOT noose cancelling which is a VERY frustrating feature given that I cannot use it outdoors almost at all. Sometimes not even indoors if there is noise around me. The lack of this feature is leading me to again go on a hunt for new Bluetooth headsets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as nails Bought this a while back and shortly after purchasing accidentally drove over it with my truck. Thought it would be dead but over a year later works amazingly! Charge lasts most of the day while listening to audiobooks continuously. I highly recommend. If this dies finally I will definitely replace with the same model. Volume could be slightly louder but i can hear ok over the sound of an air compressor and roofing nailer.

He wasn't around so I tried doing it myself. In less then one minute I had it going. I love that it talks to you and lets you know how much battery life you have left. I would and will recommend to all my friends and family.

I Even Downloaded New Jellybean 4.3 Upgrade OS And It Still Wouldn't Work. The Loop On The Earpiece Is To Hard & Hurts Your Ear , (Worse The Longer U Wear It). The Call Answer / Make Button Is To Stiff & Hard To Operate, (It Makes U Hurt Too). I Never Tried It Outside So I Can't Comment About Background Noise. It Was Great Inside The House. It Received Calls Very Good But I Never Could Make Outgoing Calls. I Hope This Helps, Sorry To Be So Negative, Thanks, Bobby D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good for this Old lady Great device, is so comfortable with my glasses that I often forget I have it on. Very easy to use and the battery life is about 2 weeks depending on my use. Although, I have had it for 2+ years now and it seems to be loosing clarity for the person I am talking to even at full volume. It forces me to talk louder than normal, but the device didn't start out that way. I do think it was good for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connected Once and now can't get it connected. I got this set up with my iphone 4s. I was able to use it a few times. Then it wouldn't activate Siri, then it kept asking me to change languages, and then it lost connection and wouldn't connect ever again. I tried all sorts of troubleshooting tips to not avail. It lasted less than a week and now I'm going to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device but poor power system I have had to purchase not one but two units in the last year, there is something definitely wrong with the charging voltage regulator inside the unit, after some time of usage the regulator fails while it is charging and then burns out the power circuit, over heats and overcharges the lithium battery inside along with the voltage regulator rendering the unit dead and inoperable. I strongly feel there should be a recall on these units or a redesign of this particular slim like model. I love this type of blue tooth because it is so small and easy to work with. The first one that I had overheated and still retained the circuit connection to the battery but was unable to charge it after it the power drained from the battery. The 2nd one overheated and burned out completely with out warning while on the charger. I am a verified customer and have receipts along with warranty and shall be RMAing the unit for repair/replacement.

After installing drivers from the hardware vendors website for the bluetooth hardware that was on the PC, this device is now working perfectly. I use it while driving- great for using my GPS navigation with the directions right in my ear and I use it when I work out to listen to music- no worry with wires. I have gotten some complaints from people that I am talking with that they can't hear me very well, but I hear them great! Not everyone complains, but some. My other complaint is that the ear bud is too big and I wish the loop that goes over my ear was wider and had more cushion. The loop recently snapped, so now it will not say on and I've tried everything to glue or tape it back together with zero success.

Half the time I can't get the volume loud enough to hear audio at the highest etting - and I have excellent hearing in general. Mor annoying is that it is inconsistent. The worst is when I am using it for driving directions and I can't hear the directions at to volume directly in my ear.

What I hate is that it beeps when you make a call but does not alert when you end or drop a call. I'm blabbing for a good minute before I realize no one is on the other end. :(

Handset was checked and working properly with other devices. My PHAB uses bluetooth firmware 5 edition, can be connected with my laptop or any further bluetooth devices. Unfortunately headset still remains, undetectable through the bluetooth device list. All the required settings have been configured properly with out a positive result . Could you please send me your assistance ? Thank you for your prompt reply

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update to previous review After 6 months using the M70 as well as 3 years with the M55, I have really got to like the features of the M70. It has a far better range than the M55 and is perfect for Audio books while biking or driving. The ability to start and stop playback is a killer feature. Call-voice Q is good (maybe not quite as good as the M55) however the main thing is that nobody complains when I am on a call with them. Not to mention that I lost my M70 for 3 days and found it in the clothes dryer after it had been through a full 2 hour wash cycle @ 40C and then a 2 hour drying cycle. Everything works 100% as before it's cleaning. Not that Plantronics recommend this as a cleaning procedure but impressive all the same.

It clearly and loudly announces when it's turned on, that it's connected/disconnected, and when the volume is finally at maximum. Once I can hear a phone conversation, the headset picks up my voice clearly. Things it doesn't do so well: Remember where you set the volume. It starts out very quiet audio-wise. I've heard mice louder than this thing. It takes several minutes of hitting the volume up key to get to max volume, and it doesn't seem to take any cues from my phone's volume settings. Personally, I would not recommend this product. Spend a few more bucks for a higher-tier model.

I needed a replacement for the venerable M50 which has served well for years.  I've had 3 of them, replaced as I caused each ones demise.  The M70 has excellent audio and user friendly interface, but some genius decided to change the earpiece. It still works fine, but doesn't go into the ear as much. I had no choice of color so black and white it is. A marketing blunder whereby the red or blue model isn't available in the US! And it's Memorial Day weekend! An excellent product otherwise, apparently replacing the M50. I would love to buy a blue one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific bluetooth for Anroid Users I do not see how some people rated this device on a lower scale than say a 4 or a 5 as this device works quite well with my LG G3 and pairs nicely with my Moto 360 that i got with T-mobile. The call quality is great and to be honest its sleek and fits nicely in my ear without it falling out I have tested the set with a variety of apps and including games and to be honest if you want a micro-headset that is flexible i would highly recommend this device. Like all bluetooth devices if you dont carry your phone with you then it may not work well however I would give this product 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with Nokia Lumia Icon (929) I got this yesterday and was surprised to find that it does not connect to my android tablet running android kitkat nor my laptop running windows 8.1. it works perfectly with my Nokia Lumia Phone. But I got it for the phone so I'm ok with it. It did connect to my phone in a fraction of a second and the sound quality is pretty good. I downloaded the Plantronics app to my tablet, but it still won't find it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annoying preset volume I cannot turn down the volume on the auto prompts such as when you turn it on and it gives you the amount of battery time left and so forth, I find it too loud. When a call is coming in it will go through an annoying dialogue announcing the call rather than a plain ring and when you press the answer button it will go through a further annoying and time consuming dialogue affirming the call is being answered rather than a plain unobtrusive tick sound or something similar. But no you have to wait for all this dialogue before you can answer a call. It is comfortable and lite feeling. The sound quality is not all that good but it is a cheap unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tougher than a wild turkey I I bought my M70 last Saturday November 5th and I went to catch a turkey up on the 10th of this month and he flapped and flogged knocking my M70 out of my ear I thought all was lost or at least if I found it it would be dead because of the dew and moisture but when it was found I learned two things one it has a very incredible battery life and two it is truly tougher than a wild turkey so I give this a 10 out of 10 rating great job very very great job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

All he hears in everything going on in the house. I have to yell for him to hear me. The rubber ear piece is uncomfortable to wear my boyfriend got a small blister inside of his ear from it. My inner ear feels bruised by the end of the day. I do like how the button is to answer calls. But I would not recommend this.

When I power on the earpiece and activate the bluetooth function on the phone, the phone is unable to find the earpiece. The trouble of unable to connect with phone is NOT worth the purchase of this device.

Biggest piece of junk ever!!!!!! You couldn't even hold a conversation. JUNK. AVOID. And yes I adjusted the volume as LOW as it could go, still sucked!!!!!!!

But I pried it open, and let it sit on my dresser for a couple of weeks, and it started working again ! I had to tape the cover back on, because i broke the tiny tabs when opening it, but no apparent permanent damage otherwise.

Then...it just started randomly announcing "Phone 1 disconnected. Phone 1 connected." back and forth. Nothing in the manual covers this problem. We turned off the pairing, paired again, made sure everything was charged properly, and more. But...the problem never stopped.

Despite the changing temps the m25 has proven to be the better of the two even tho the M70 was more expensive. I contacted customer service and they basically said "tough luck" Im not that thrilled with this unit.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the fact that the clear plastic ear loop is a bit too fragile. I have tried to find a replacement for mine that broke, and can't find one. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, easy to use, excellent sound Compared to my two previous Samsung bluetooth headsets, one of which was on par to the Plantronics, were not nearly as comfortable nor had as good of sound; both voice calling, S Voice, Pandora, etc. For the price it is a great headset. The battery lasts 6+ hours of constant music streaming. After the third/fourth 'battery low' notification from the headset it will turn off, though the voice itself is not imposing, but noticeable enough. The notifications are spread ~10 minutes apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensitivity is very high I've bought two of the same style bluetooth headsets (first one lost havent found it) Its comfortable, fits well, has good sound quality, and easy buttons. The one complaint I have is the mic sensitivity and the sound cancellation isn't the greatest. I have had contacts tell me I am very loud, even to the point of them having to hold their phone away from their head. It also picks up on almost every sound in the background loud and clear. Other than that this headset is wonderful. Wish I could adjust the sensitivity.

I am buying another, not because there's anything wrong with this one, but because I do not want to be without. Now I will have one to use and one in reserve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just loge it I have bought 3 and now going for my forth, this is do to my new puppy that just loves to chew them up, had my first one for 6 months then the new puppy arrived and have gone through 2 in 3 weeks so one more time and hope the pup keeps her nose out of it. They are really good bluetooth units, one of the best I have used,long talk time and get standby as well. I use it daily and have to chsrge it about every third day. Shut it down at night to save power.

My job requires me to be on calls most of the time. The 11 hours talk time is a blessing. It does stay for that long - I have used it for day-long calls in my job! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I bought this blue tooth and like it except the ear bud cover. I fits in my ear ok and doesn't fall out, but I have kind of small ears so it makes my ear hurt. The only way I've found I can wear the blue tooth is if I take the ear bud plastic off and use the over the ear attachment. I haven't had any problems with it since. I wish it came with a separate smaller ear bud plastic cover in case you don't or can't use the one that's suppose to just hold it in your ear by it's self.

People have no problem hearing me, I have no problem hearing them, setup was simple and the battery life is great. I use it all day long for my job. I am very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from suggestion I am a Plantronics believer, as a matter of fact I don't buy anything else, vut Jabra stone, OMG, it is so light you do not know you have it in your ear. After testing today with the TV on high volume, no one knew. I use my bluetooth for work. And I just want to let you know I have been using bluetooth forever, starting in 2009. The Jabra has a design that is so light, it does not hurt your year. Clarity is amazing, I was really astonshished as I always tell everyone to buy Plantronics equipment, Thanks to my daughter I tried this today.

Battery life is excellent. Does connect to multiple devices Noise cancellation is not very good several complaints from people I am talking to about background noise. No onscreen battery meter with my windows phone I may have to relegate this to a backup status for use due to noise cancellation issues

But each time I replaced it I replaced it with the M70. I love it love it love it I have more expensive bluetooth devices and they just don't measure up to my M70.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding battery life I had used the voyager style of plantronics headset for several models over the years, but needed to go away from the over the ear style due to interference with the earpieces of my new (and damndedly expensive) glasses. I use my bluetooth earpieces heavily with my iPhone not only for calls, but for audiobooks, music, navigation etc. It was not uncommon for me to exhaust the 6-7 hour battery life of the voyager style earpieces and need to recharge during an average day - especially as the battery life began to fade. I tried a Jawbone ERA and found the form factor to be nice and the charging case to be innovative and provide a 10 hour talktime (with recharges from the carry case), but the call quality was very poor with everyone telling me I sounded like I was under water. After returning the ERA, I went back and revisited the Plantronics site and discovered the M70. I have been very pleased with it after using it for several weeks and am extremely pleased with the 11 hour talktime capacity. On one occasion, I attended a 4 hour conference call and found that it said I still had 8 hours of talktime remaining and I commenced to listen to an audiobook for the rest of my work day and the commute home without coming close to draining the battery. The only negative I have found so far is the comfort adjustment to the earpiece - it hurts at first especially with the length of time I wear it. However, after a few days, my ear became accustomed to it and had no problems with discomfort since. I have not really stressed the M70 in calls from truly noisy environments and cannot review that aspect, but average background and vehicular noise do not seem to have had any impact on calls. I can say that if you are looking for a lightweight, in the ear bluetooth, the outstanding battery life and great price make this hard to beat and I have been very satisfied. (One tip - if the white band bugs you like it did to me, a little bit of black sharpie marker makes the M70 into a sleek, all black earpiece!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What did you say? I night this several weeks ago and it has been problematic from the start. It will not pair with my phone unless I turn off the headset and turn it back on. People have a hard time hearing me in my vehicle, but they can hear every bump I hit in the road. Background noise overpowers the speech recognition. And you can't use the voice activation unless you spend your data time to let it communicate with its server in real-time. Even when it does communicate, it throws up errors almost every time I use it. It also self activates my music after I terminate a call with no option to turn that function off. And the earpiece falls out of you move too much, as in turn your head. It tells you 11 hours talk time, but I barely got 4 in and it said battery low. Overall, I feel this product is not worth the money. I will not purchase another plantronics device ever again. Extremely disappointing.

The voice quality is excellent, the charge last for 11-12 hours, has never run out of charge and I use it all day every day. I bought 2 just to make sure I had a an extra in case I lost one. Very reasonably priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a year, after not so much Ive always had better luck with plantronics brand headsets, my previous headsets were the M26 M55 and 2 M70's. This M70 has lasted the longest so far. After a year of everyday use the sound quality has suffered pretty bad. People lately have been telling me it sounds like Im calling from the moon on a spotty weak AM radio signal. It was not always this way. It is a huge step up from the popular amazon bargain of similar look. I like that there is a quick to use power switch. It is comfortable when you cut off the silly clear rubber loop. The over ear hook has held up great and it stays pretty well in my ear. The battery life is great and range is tolerable. I just wish I could get more than 12 months from a headset without something degrading in performance. It used to sound great but now it does not.

I did like the sound quality and how I could hear notifications from my phone onto the earpiece. Another great feature was the ability to control the music. Ok, good first run. I turned it off and on the next day I could not get the device to turn back on. I figured it must have run out of power. I charged it for a few hours. It flashes a red led when its charging (I guess). After about 2 hours, I tried to turn it on again. Nope! No luck. I charged it for a day. Came back to try again. Nope! I read the manual it came with... hmm. no help. Online manual... no help. forums and research. What the heck! Nothing. I flipped it on and held the button, I heard the voice say power on. Wow! ok. but not its not paired to my phone. Oh geez... This is ridiculous. I must say. I had several blue tooth and this one might be top quality in some areas but just to connect and get it on, I need a book for dummies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device I install cable for a living so I'm in all kinds of weather, this thing has held up nicely through all, under houses and telephone poles. Survived a 30 foot drop, got it when i got off the ladder and still worked fine and did not disconnect.The battery holds up very well. The only down side to it is the piece that goes into your ear can be a bit uncomfortable after 10+ hours, but all in all I am very happy with this product. Will be buying another one very soon. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating working with a iPhone 4S Pros: decent sound quality, easy to use, easy to pair. Comfortable in/on my ear. Cons: Works with Siri, sometimes. Although I can hear what's going on, my iPhone doesn't always pick up my voice, especially when using Siri. The sound is too faint, as the earpiece doesn't go far enough into my ear. (Yes, I've tried all the sizes). Also, I had numerous complaints on the other end of conversations of being too distant.

But when using both of them at the same time at both call ends, annoying noise glitches appear randomly. This makes this device unusable.
