Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yellowing I bought this case around 2 months ago when the iPhone 13 Pro released. It is a great case and very slim and comfortable in the hand, but it is a big flaw. After a short amount of time it began to yellow and now 2 months later it is a very noticeable dark yellow on the edges of the case.

This case is gorgeous but does not work with wireless charging! My previous Symmetry case for my iPhone8 worked with my wireless charger in my car, so I was very surprised that this one does not. This is disappointing because I had specifically checked and the description indicated it would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mag-safe failure I have the Apple MagSafe battery pack and it doesn't not work with this case despite saying it is compatible with Apple MagSafe charger and wireless charging. It's a bummer after spending $49.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Case Ever, yellows in less than a month I bought this case in December and it yellowed not too long after that. How are people supposed to see my phone if the case is yellow? And trust me, I’ve tried cleaning it. Nothing works. Not to mention how easily it scratches! The warranty is ridiculous, $7.99 for shipping plus taxes??? What happened to this company? I’ve used otterbox all my life and the first time I buy a clear case, it was such a disappointment and definitely not worth the money.

While the quality is as good as ever, the new design has replaced a textured surface with one that is extremely slippery. It has slipped out of my hands a half a dozen n the first four weeks. Thankfully, the iPhone, as always, is resilient and has withstood the impact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sacrificed protection for "pretty" have neither no Finally went for this pretty Otterbox case for my new iPhone 13 Pro instead of the old standard Defender I've used on every phone I've owned since 2013. Was ok for about a month until the edges turned a dark yellow. The back is completely scratched despite never being a bag or pocket with keys or anything, and the resulting surface is unpleasant feeling in the hand. It always feels like there is a film on the back of the case due to numerous small scratches and scuffs. The dark yellow edges make my phone look constantly filthy, and the scratched up back surface provides tons of protected surface area for microorganisms to grow in. Yuck. The warranty replacement is futile because 1 It costs me money and 2) The same thing will just happen again in a month. Makes no sense to pay to replace a case every month or 2. Wish I could use the warranty to just get a Defender and be done with it, but that's not an option. Disappointed with the quality of this case after years of knowing I was getting a durable product from Otterbox. I'll be going with a different manufacturer to replace this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discoloration and Lacks Magsafe I bought this Otterbox case from Best Buy in July 2022, so I have been using it for 6 months. I have dropped my phone several times since then. The case appears to be doing its job, as my iPhone 13 Pro shows no signs of damage. The case also seems to have suffered very little in the way of scuffs or dents from 6 months of use. I like the fact that the stiff plastic lower portion is clear, as it shows the green colour of my iPhone's casing. However, I am not completely satisfied with this Otterbox case. After a few months, the flexible plastic upper portion of the case started to turn yellow. It is now obviously discoloured and unsightly. Also, the salesperson at the store where I purchased the case neglected to mention that this Otterbox case does NOT allow the phone to be used with Magsafe products. I told the salesperson that I might want to use Magsafe products later, but she insisted that this case would be compatible. She was wrong. A couple months ago, I decided to get a Magsafe wireless charger and discovered the iPhone would NOT attach to the charger because of the Otterbox casing. I had to buy a separate magnet that attaches to the OUTSIDE of the case in order to make it work with the Magsafe wireless charger. This external magent is unsightly and a nuisance. It snags on other objects, plus it picks up dirt over time. Although the clear, stiff platic lower portion of this Otterbox case is nice for showing the original colour of an iPhone, the discolouration of the soft plastic upper portion makes the case unsightly overall. And the lack of Magsafe compatibility is a significant disappointment. Until Otterbox rectifies the casing discolouration problem, I would NOT recommend this case. Also, I would NOT recommend buying a non-Magsafe case in general. You will have to add an annoying external magent, or buy a new case altogether, if you want to use other Magsafe products with your iPhone. Beware salespersons in electronic stores who aren't fully informed on Otterbox products. Do your own research to ensure you get a Magsafe case.

It does seem a little more flimsy than my other case I had that was black though. Doesn't add much bulk when in my pocket which is a major selling point for me.

I still used them because I felt they gave the best protection, but they made carrying a phone in pocket a little uncomfortable. I feel that the Pro Symmetry Series gives me the same great protection with a much more compact profile. With the clear case, you would almost think there was no case…but your investment is still perfectly protected from those mishaps we all have. I am very happy with this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OtterBox never disappoints! I love the stunning blue color of my new IPhone 13 Pro and the plain and clear Symmetry case is exactly what I was looking for. A protective case is a must have for the new iPhone 13 to protect the glass back from scratches and cracks. This soft shell case doesn’t feel plastic-y or slippery at all and fits securely around the phone. The raised edges in the front protect the screen while the raised edges around the lenses in the back, protect the lenses from any significant damage during a fall. The slightly raised buttons on the side of the phone respond extremely well without the need to apply a lot of pressure. I am not a fan of bulky or “cage like” phone cases and prefer thinner and less noticeable cases. Even though this case is thinner than a lot of other phone cases, it does a great job at protecting my new phone. I have used several OtterBox phone cases on various iPhones in the past and have never had any issues!

It is so rare to see the actual colors of phones now, it always a bulky case to make sure you dont have to upfront more than your rent or mortgage for a phone. this case passed the drop test very well. my phone is still working and has no damage. love this case

After cracking the screen of my new iPhone 13 while using a cheap case it was time to invest in the best, and haven't regretted it. The Pro Symmerty Series is super sleek, light, and has protected my iPhone through several drops, thanks kids.

I work in a school and have to carry my phone with me from classroom to classroom so of course I have dropped it more times then I care to count. No damage to my phone! Love OtterBox.

It gives a nice visual of the actual phone so those that have colored phones will love this. I like the minimal look and of course with these new phones they get thicker. This case adds no thickness to the phone and keeps it lightweight. The sides cover the edges of the phone nicely. It’s very smooth yet feels secure in my hands. The side buttons fit perfectly and cause no issues. Wonderful case!

I have always struggled with the idea of paying for a nice phone just to cover the beauty with a bulky case because I am afraid of dropping or damaging my phone. This case is fantastic because it is truly transparent and provides excellent protection. Gone are the fears of damaging my phone and I am still able to admire this years iteration of overly expensive technology. I recommend this case to anyone that wants to truly appreciate their expenditure.

While I’d heard great things about how secure they are I had also heard they were a pain to get on and off the phone. Not so with this one. It was easy to put on and take off. I also love the clear design and the fact that it’s not bulky. And since I’m a complete butterfingers it has already saved my new phone from ending up with dings and scratches a few times!

The best feature is that it's clear! I would love to go caseless and experience the form factor of the device. But that's too risky, so this is the next best option -- I can see the color device I chose without it being concealed by the protective case. Great value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Price Purchased this at the AT&T store when I got my iPhone 13. It was nearly $50, so I figured it would be an excellent case. Overall I found the case to be a bit thick but it did the job of protecting my phone. One drawback is the design around the camera lens which makes it wobbly when placed on a flat surface. The big complaint I have is that it turned yellow after a year. Not exactly what you expect after spending that kind of money on a case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awful case Although I love the way this case looks, my entire back of my iphone shattered and it will cost $500 to repair. I am extremely disappointed as otterbox has the reputation to provide adequate care for your iphone but this was most definitely not the case. I am disappointed to say the least and I cannot recommend buying this case. please save your iphone and go find another one.
