Cloudy case
Case is good for protection but I’m super disappointed in the cloudy sides. It hides the pretty shiny gold and that’s the reason I wanted to go with a clear case. Not sure if apples is better.

My Favorite Design
I love everything about the sleek design of the symmetry series. Clear is great because it allows the nice colors of the phone to show through. I had it before for my 12 pro max and loved the design so much, I got it again for my 13 pro max. I enjoyed seeding the gold on gold and the gold on blue looks just as nice.

Very disappointed with poor quality otter box case
I bought this for my new iPhone 13 Pro Max and within just a few months it was already yellowed and disgusting looking. I dropped it once and the corner of the otter box broke!

My phone cracked from falling off a coffee table
I have always used OtterBox and never had a problem until this case. I am mad because had I known this couldn’t withstand such a low-level fall, I wouldn’t have gotten this kind. Disappointed.

Why is it yellow???
I literally opened the package— case is yellow on the sides. The one I had before this, same design that was really for the 12 and had to be forced on— did not turn yellow.

DON'T BUY
I dunno what Otterbox thinks they're doing with their Symmetry cases, this one is just has hard to put on the iPhone13 ProMax as it was for the S22 Ultra I had. you practically have to break the phone FORCING IT on the phone, I'm on my 2nd one for my S21 Ultra and don't have ANY problems with putting it on and taking it off. I returned the iPhone cus I HATED it, I hope Otterbox starts listening to their customers for when the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes out

Turns yellow quickly
I think this case is great and looks very pretty with the blue iPhone, but the sides turn yellow pretty quickly. I’m not sure if there’s something that can be done to fix that, but I think it’s something otterbox should look into

Love the Symmetry series
I can’t speak to the yellowing since my case is new, but the Symmetry series are the best cases for full protection without bulk. The sides are slightly grippy and very comfortable to hold. I purchased the wallflower case and it’s lovely against the blue phone, especially with my gold pop socket. My phone feels very secure. This is my 3rd or 4th symmetry case, I don’t use anything else (I tried another brand recently because I liked the design but it looked cheap in person and wasn’t comfortable to hold, and did not feel secure in my hand so I returned it and went back to my trusted and loved Symmetry series. I drop my phone a lot and the Symmetry case has never failed me. In fact, I just look at my phone as it drops and think oh well, it’ll be just fine :)

Clear case
I purchased this case because it is clear. I have had it about a week. I like the case overall but I am not able to charge my phone with a wireless device. It is a bit frustrating because I was looking forward to charging my phone wirelessly.

Excellent Sleek Case / Perfect Fit
Love this nice, sleek Symmetry case. I’m very careful and only need protection for an occasional mishap, so I didn’t really need an armored car to protect my new iPhone 13PM. Opted not to get a screen protector because of the new Ceramic Shield that is standard with new iPhones. This case is nothing short of perfect for my needs. Included a photo of case with the Sierra Blue iPhone. Very Nice!

Actually ordered by mistake…
I originally wanted the clear one and then realized my error. I was thinking this would be silver and was fully prepared to send it back. It is actually clear with a sparse sprinkling of silvery glitter (very small like grains of sand and is barely noticeable unless you hold it up to the light. I liked it immediately. It does not interfere with the color of the phone. I am used to the heavy duty rubber Otterbox with the inside case and was nervous it would not offer enough protection. The construction is slightly flexible and smooth and fits well. It is very sleek and takes up much less room in my purse. The case covers the side buttons and does not interfere at all with their functionality. I have accidentally dropped twice already, with no damage to my phone and no scratches to the case. Very satisfied.

I like the case, I like the anti-slip front of the case. Wish the back was also anti-slip. The MagSafe charger does work with it, but not as strongly as the official Apple case.

Great protection, cosmetic issues
The case itself has protected my phone from many falls. I’ve had the case since I got this iPhone and still no scratches or cracks on my phone. The downfall is that it yellows extremely fast and specifically the rim has actually turned a dark orange/brown color, I assume from any time it’s been outdoors. Also, the rubber around the volume button area has lifted up and does not protect this area of the phone. Not sure how this could have happened

I’ve had this case for just over a year. It’s yellowed and recently noticed the back of my phone is completely shattered. After looking closely, the hard part on the corner of the case is cracked which didn’t end up protecting my phone. I don’t trust this case to protect against simple drops.

Great case! I got the clear case with the anti microbial technology on it. Top three things I instantly noticed: 1. The case snapped onto my case without any force or struggle. 2. It is the clearest Otterbox I have ever used, and I have been using OB since the iPhone 5. And 3. The buttons work flawlessly! Not too sensitive, not too stiff. In addition, the case has a nice grip/handling to it while being nice and slim and zero bulk. In and out of purse or pockets easily! I’ve tried other brands, just to branch out and say I have tried. I always went back to the OB. They are the best.
Their customer service is great, and any returns or exchanges are easy and swift!

I just bought these clear case for my iPhone y usually get black case but on these case I just wanted to see my iPhone color but my case started yellowing. Not very happy with it. I recommend the case but its clear version. And already tried to clean it but still yellowing.

The yellowing!!
I’ve had 2 now! The second was a warranty replacement from the first one. I had no idea that this was as much of a problem as it is. I don’t normally write reviews, but I need a new case and I decided to see what folks have to say about this one. Lots of people experiencing issues with their cases turning yellow quickly as well. Disappointing.

I’ve had this OtterBox for about 6 months and I started out really loving it. It’s slim and doesn’t scratch easily. I hate how yellowed it is the sides and and back look gross and I plan on throwing it away once I replace it with something different. I purchased this at a BestBuy.

It does fit perfectly and feels very protective without being bulky but I’ve had the “stardust” a week and it already looks a lil dingy/ yellow on the sides.. I was also expecting it be MagSafe as well but it’s not I just looked at the website and I’ll have to get a different symmetry case..

Case is good, but design not as expected
From the website picture, I expected it to be a more glitter ombré. Not the case at all. It’s solid black on the bottom that transitions to black specs. Now glitter or iridescence at all. Was pretty disappointed.

Doesn’t protect the screen
I used to have this case for all my other phones and i got it for my 13 pro max and it does NOT protect the screen whatsoever???????? It’s not raised enough to protect the screen from a flat fall, im so so so disappointed

Yellowed quickly
For the price point and the name brand of this case I really expected it not to yellow so easily or so quickly. In less than 2 months the case is “yellowed” which was a big disappointment and it really never even had any sun time. I don’t know what caused the yellowing but it seems like a lot of other customers are dealing with the same issue of this case yellowing.

Extremely disappointed this case is yellowing. I love the slim profile of this case. Not sure if I would this to a friend. For the price I expect better.

I’m disappointed as my case that I bought has turned yellow around the edges. It’s durable, but it turned yellow so quickly. I would recommend not buying for this reason.

Does not fit 13 pro max!!!
Super disappointed I always get the symmetry case for all of my phones and I’ve been waiting for this order to come in just to find out that the case is marked for the iPhone 12 pro max which has a little bit different camera dimensions than the 13 promax and I can’t even get it to fit on the phone and of course customer service is closed

I loved this case for about a week. Then it started to yellow. I’ve had it on my phone for a month and the case is DARK YELLOW, specifically the edge. Horrible. Don’t buy this.

Disappointed
Disappointed in this case, the design on the back is not how it is pictured on the website. The hold reason I bought this was for the design and it's not up to what I was expecting. I would have bought a different case had I known the ombre effect wouldn't be as pictured.
