The color was supposed to be clear. It is actually not so clear. It is like dirty clear. My phone looks like it has some cheap cover from china. I bought clear covers before and they are very shiny clear. This one is blury and my phone does not look nice at all

Good case. But clear silicon becomes dingy yellow.
Case is pretty good. Had one for 6 and 6s. But this one is clear for 7 and my wife's 7 plus. And the the clear silicon around the edges became dingy yellow after only 6 weeks. Now it looks like we are a couple of smokers. Disappointed for what these cost.

I bought this case for my iPhone 7 Plus and overall am disappointed. The case fits well, but the back of the cover within days was scratched to bits. The alpha glass that i bought with it doesn’t fit well as the screen obviously curves at the edges meaning I’m left with a rim around the whole screen which looks unsightly - cut the glass to fit only the flat part of the screen!!! Could do better...

Protective Clear Case
The Symmetry Series Clear Case for iPhone 7 is protective while also very slim and light. I like that it doesn't add bulk to the phone and because it is clear, it shows off the sleek look of the phone. It also has stayed clean and not looked foggy or cloudy.

It's an okay case…
I'm very disappointed with this case from Otterbox...it's not very clear, and there are clearer cases that are protective but slimmer around the edges of iPhone 7. The other thing I didn't like about the case was the sleep/wake and volume buttons were very hard to press as well.

I bought my clear case for my new iPhone 7 about 6 months ago. I choose otterbox because I know it is great against drops, but within the first couple of months I noticed it was starting to yellow and now 6 months later my phone case looks disgustingly yellow!

I bought this a month ago but a couple days later I noticed a long scratch on the case but I never dropped it. I’m assuming I got it from sliding on a table? Not sure, just thought the case would be more durable and less sensitive to scratches. Otherwise it is nice, looks sturdy, and very pretty, but maybe too expensive for something that gets easily scratched.

I bought this for my new iPhone 8 and was worried it wouldn’t be clear but was pleasantly surprised! I purchased the one with the glitter on the back and it looks so elegant. the case is clear so you can see the phone underneath, and the glitter is subtle (not too flashy) and shimmers in the light. I got this as a gift and was so excited. I've enjoyed it, but the edges have turned a nasty color. It's almost orange. I clean it regularly according to otterbox suggestions, and it still turned yellow after less than 6 months of use. It's a good product, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the color change.

I bought this case a month ago and was very excited because it said that it would not turn yellow! Unfortunately it has turned yellow. It is mostly on the sides but its very obvious and it looks pretty gross. I wish i had purchased a different product. I have bought other Otterbox products and enjoyed them!

Little rough around the edges
As long as I have had a phone I've had an otter box. I trust them to protect my phone. When the iPhone 7 came out I was waiting for this case to come out in that size. In the meantime I was using, for the first time ever, another phone case (the brand escapes me now). I wasn't overly impressed with it but it worked. Since I have received this otter box case I haven't been as thrilled as I usually am for one reason. It's nearly impossible to use the off button! The case is sleek, pretty, affordable, and sturdy yet the button the part of the casing that aligns with the home bottom is extremely rigid. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like that. It takes me 4-5 clicks to turn the phone into resting mode. Taking a screen shot is nearly impossible. I wasn't aware that I used that button as often as I did until I had to exert all of my energy to push it. I'm going to give the case another week or two to see if that area in the case "loosens" a bit making it easier to use. I hate to say it but if it doesnt get easier I'm going to be changing cases.

Cute, but scratches easily.
The way that the glitter shines is nice, but you can see all of the scratches in the light too. I have only had the case for two weeks and it is already full of scratches. I am not particularly hard on my phone. It is usually on a bed, table, or pouch in my purse. The fact that it already shows so much wear and tear has me looking for a different case already. It's cute case, but I wish it were more durable.

Shows off my iPhone but may affect audio
I love that this case shows off the pretty gold backing of the iPhone 7. It's light, slim, and offers good protection so far! The only thing I'm concerned about is people have trouble hearing me (they say the mic sounds muffled and quiet). When I take the case off, it's fine. I'm not sure if it's the phone, my service, or the case.

I have a 'gold' iPhone 8 and I like the pink color, so when I was looking for a case I wanted to still be able to see the pink I liked so much and paid so much for. This case is perfect! It's not plain (sparkles), but its still clear and allows the pink to really show through. I think it adds a slight yellow tint, but it's barely noticeable. The only reason it gets 4 and not 5 stars is because I always want thinner cases.

Case Yellows After Use
Bought the fully clear symmetry case for the iphone 7. After about a month, the edges of the case started to yellow. Obviously, this is not intended, but it is a common problem in clear cases. The case itself does a great job of protecting the phone, so I have no complaints there.
Otterbox support is the best out there. Talked to them on the phone and they are planning on sending me the clear back case with black edges. This should prevent the yellowing, as it only occurred on the soft plastic edges.
3 stars for the case and 5 stars for the customer service.

I absolutely love otterbox; it's the first and only website I visit to buy a phone case. Overall, the case is exactly what I expected: hardy and perfect for my numerous daily iPhone drops. The sparkles are not quite as visible as I anticipated (needs to be under a light to see), but still would recommend this case highly. I love to be able to show off the pink on my phone.

I just received my new case. I was so excited to show off my new pretty rose gold phone in this clear case. After receiving it I noticed it was covered in scratches. Such a disappointment! I've always purchased Otterbox and have never had an issue until now. Wish I would have bought a cheaper case if I knew it was gonna be covered with scratches before I even got to use it.

Love the way it looks
I have had this case for a few weeks now and I love the way it looks on my rose gold iPhone. However, it is extremely difficult to push in the power/lock button on it. I'm hoping that it wears in a bit over time to make it easier. I don't have the issue with the volume buttons. I haven't dropped my phone since I got the case, so I don't know about how much it helps absorb shock. No yellowing so far.

Love the glitter see through case. Have a rose gold case and love the look. It's light weight and durable. I had the glass screen cover with another clear not so durable case and the screen saver got scratched and chips on the side. The Otter case more durable and has the lip on the front protecting the screen saver. Love the stylish look and protection. Going to stick with Otter covers!

Turning yellow and not so clear
First I purchased for my New Black iPhone 7 and wanted a clear case...well this case is more like a fog. The black is washed out because the case isn't crystal clear like it says. Second is it's front side that was clear is now turning yellow. Protection is good that's about all that's good.

It's not as clear as it looks in the pictures. It has a very noticeable cloudy tint to it that makes it hard to show off my red iPhone as I had hoped. The back cover is very prone to scratches, scuffs, and fingerprints. Two weeks after purchase and it's full of scratches on the back with normal use. The inside has very minimal soft rubber protection. The rubber cutouts are not very clean cut either, and the front lip is not even across the entire front. For some reason, the power button is very hard to press with this case. Lastly, there is no rubber on the back, making it slide across surfaces very easily. On the good side, the protection is very good, and it stays on the phone nicely.

Classy, minimal, and great protection
I was looking for as small a case as I could find that would still protect my phone if/when I dropped it. This is that case. My color shows through (though the sparkle case has a matte finish so the jet black would loose its sheen) and the sparkles are great. Not too much. Phone took a dive from my shoulder height bag to a concrete sidewalk the other day. Case has a couple scratches, phone is still perfect. This case just paid for itself.

Scratches & fit
I bought the case because my husband was really excited about his Otterbox. Because I have a Rosé colored iPhone 7, I chose the clear case. Unfortunately I'm not that excited about my Otterbox. It seems like the case has scratched the edges of the iPhone underneath and above the screen. I'm really disappointed about this, because I bought the case so I would not have these scratches. It Also feels like the screen lock button (on/off button) doesn't really fit. Like it had too much space.

Very happy with my case do not regret it at all!
It is a beautiful case, with a bit of glitter and a great way to show of the colour of your phone.I have had it for about 3 weeks and do not see any yellowing or any signs of that happening, as normal clear cases tend to do that. Seems like a great protective case , but I haven't dropped it yet so I don't know.

I bought this abt a month ago and it has definitely worked. im not worried about dropping my phone at all because the case is so sturdy. However, it only gets 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1 being that it scratches too easily, my keys have scratched the back of the case hundreds of times already. 2 being that mosture seems to build up in the buttons and sometimes they wont press down verry nice

Sturdy and not bulky
This is a replacement case and is the exact style I had originally bought 3 years ago. I work outside and I am very rough on my phones but I also don't have the pockets to hold something too bulky so this is the perfect solution. This case can take 5' drops onto gravel or cement and keep the phone intact. I like how the edges curve up around the phone so that even the screen has a little protection.

the case described as "crystal clear" and "clear confidence" on the website is anything but, would be better advertised as opaque or frosted as when on the phone it obscures any colour definition and is like looking at the phone through a bathroom window. I bought this about a month ago! Super cute, super slim & fits in my pocket really well. It definitely needs a screen protector on top (I have a tempered glass protector). I’ve dropped it twice and it has stayed remarkably smash free. Although switching from the lifeproof it feels like there is significantly less protection if it was to fall and hit the screen. Overall much cuter than the lifeproof & just about as much protection.

I bought this clear case for my wife. I have bought in to the quality product along with great customer service that Otter continues to deliver. My wife is very picky about her phone cases but this one is aesthetically pleasing to her. She has the rose gold iPhone 7 and the clear case allows her to show off the rose gold finish. The case is very good quality and feels great in my hand. The case is slim with she likes as well. This is a great buy and I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Well worth the money to protect expensive phones.

Love my stardust case
I bought my stardust case a few weeks ago, and I love it! Like other reviewers have mentioned, it is super sparkly under the sunlight which is something I love. You can also jazz up your phone by printing out things and sticking them on the back. It's easy to put on and take off the case. I haven't dropped my phone yet, but after watching the naked iPhone 7 drop test reviews on YouTube, this case is gonna protect! However, the volume and lock screen buttons are difficult to push. My phone case hasn't yellowed (yet), but I am worried that it will.

I love this case! It's crystal clear with pretty good sparkles. It does scratch pretty easily but if it protects my phone and still sparkles then I can be ok with the scratches for now. We'll see how it looks after owning it for greater than one month.

I love it! I've got a rose gold iphone7, and I wanted a clear cover, so I could see the rose gold and this was perfect! I love the glitter, and it's not too much that it looks cheap but just enough to look elegant and original! Definitely recommend!

Great clear iPhone case. You cannot go wrong with Otter Box. They are the best in protecting your phone. I have had other cases that have fallen apart, but the Otter Box is the strongest one out there. The clear design is really nice. It is practically invisible.

Snapped right on to the phone no problem. Little disappointed a front screen protector wasn't included (one was for the commuter I bought for my Iphone 6.) Also the sleep button is a bit stiff, but that's just nitpicking. Overall, I'm happy with the case.

Worth Its Price
This case is expensive but it’s definitely worth its price. I have dropped my phone for probably three or more times on things like foot paths and there’s no damage to my phone whatsoever. However, a part of the case (clear case) does go yellow after a few months, but other than that, it’s worth the buy. If you’re looking for a protective case that will serve its purpose, then this case is definitely it.
I was a bit skeptical to buy online since I’m not a fan of online shopping, but I still tried it anyway and OtterBox did not disappoint. I have now bought from OtterBox two times - first time for myself and second time for my mum - and the second time around, the case came on the day it said it’ll come.

I have been using Otter Box covers for years. I recently purchased my wife a new iPhone 7 and wanted a clear case because I bought the nice rose-gold colored phone. The advertisement looked like it had a two-piece set-up like the typical black case I have always used. When it came, it was only a one-piece and no protection for the screen side. Other than that, I plan to stick with Otter Box products.

I bought this case for my new iPhone 7 when I upgraded from the 6 plus. I had a defender case on my 6 and was very tired of the bulkiness...always had a defender case but wanted to try something more streamlined. So far I am extremely happy with the symmetry case. It is slim but seems protective. Haven't dropped it yet though. I am hoping it keeps my phone safe.

I purchased this case in black/clear. It is a very nice looking case and slim. The only issue I have with it is that the button on the right (to unlock/lock your phone) is hard to push in with the case. The volume buttons on the other side are much easier to access.

Buttons are hard to push

I've had this case for two months now, and I've dropped my phone many time. My phone hasn't broken yet, but after only two months the case looks worse for wear. I've had a couple other Otterboxes and they've never scratched like this one. There are also some cracks within the plastic, near the lower left corner, that have been there as long as I've had the case.

Do not buy if you have the Jet Black Phone
I bought this case in the T-Mobile store when I upgraded to the iPhone 7 Jet Black in the middle of November 2016. It's only February 2nd, 2017 and the case is already turning a yellow tint. I am very disappointed since I always bought Otterbox phone cases in the past. I would of thought they used a higher quality material since the case cost a lot more then the cheaper companies on the internet. I was reading their warranty and apparently the customer has to provide the shipping cost and taxes to get a new one! That's bananas! Why would the customer have to pay any fee when the case faded due to cheap material. I do not recommend this case. Look at the pictures provided and you'll see.

Bought it to protect my new Rose Gold iPhone 7 since I seem to always drop mine. It's been doing the trick. One thing I don't really like is the back (with the apple logo) is almost matte looking, making the back of the phone appear dull... it's something I could live with, but if you have a jet black phone and want to show off the glossy finish, be warned.

It never broke the glass or scratched my phone when I removed the case for cleaning. I have the Symmetry now but before I had the Commuter. My new case is sleek and really cute I love it. Meets my needs and satisfied with the look
I have been using this case for a few weeks now. I have not used any clear cases in the past, so this is my first experience with one. When researching the case, it seems that most of the negatives are about the slight frosted texture on the case. This seems to be more problematic with the black phones or some of the other colors. I have the silver iPhone and I am satisfied with the look. I am pretty careful with my phone so this case more than meets my protection needs. I would definitely recommend this case for those with silver iPhones with moderate protection needs.

Just received my new "clear" otterbox for the iPhone 7 that I bought in jet black. No point on having a jet black phone with this case. The back of the case is frosted. I had a symmetry for my 6 and 6s and it was great. This case is uncomfortable to hold to face and hold as the front ridge is high rather than the rubber liner on previous models. Highly disappointed.

Love my new Otter box!
I love my new Otter Box - it's slim but protects just as well as the bulkier versions I've had in the past. The clear sparkly case looks great with my rose gold I-phone.

Great glitter box

I bought it about a month ago. It certainly protects the phone but it's sensitive to scratches. There's a few on the back and they are pretty noticeable; didn't have this problem with my other cases. But it protects the phone and that's all that matters.

I have the phone case on my phone, but I can't seem to be able to take it off. Since the entire back side of it is hard and can't bend at all, I can't easily take it off like any other phone case. It may protect my phone, but now I can't take it off!

Feels sturdy
I had another clear case (from another brand) and it just didn't feel sturdy or that it was protecting my phone. In the past I have always had a Defender Otterbox, but wanted something slim that showed off the color of my phone. I love this case, except the side buttons are harder (but not impossible) to engage since the plastic on this case is more rigid than the other brand. I still love it though, but wish those couple of buttons would be more flexible. I am hoping with time they will "give" a bit.
All in All, I am happy to continue to stick with an OtterBox!!

Ok but not as good as my last otterbox
I bought an otterbox case 2 weeks ago for my iPhone 7 plus - clear with a black line around the outside but the buttons are all really stiff to push. I thought that it would ease up with use but I still have to REALLY push hard on the volume buttons and the power button on the RHS to get them to work. Also I really wanted an otterbox cos I loved the old one that I had for my 6 plus but there was very limited choice for the 7 plus so it took a long time to just get one. And now I'm disappointed with the purchase.

Doesn't Protect
I got this about a month ago to protect my brand new iPhone 7. Right after I put it on, as I was walking on the street later that day, it got knocked out of my hands onto the pavement. The screen of the phone is fine but somehow the corners got damaged, even though the case is protecting it. The case is also super susceptible to small scratches. I've always used otter boxes for my last 3 iphones--I expected more.

It is a good case and I can tell that it is protective. The color is actually clear and you can see the sparkles, and it makes my rose gold phone look amazing! However, it scratches kind of easily and the power button is REALLY hard to press at first. I've been using it for about three weeks now, and the button is a little easier to press now but sometimes I don't actually turn off my phone because the button is so hard to press.

Bought my case few months ago, backside is already full of scratches. This makes the case look dirty and old, like I’ve had this for ages. Also the case discolours easily although I rarely keep my phone in my jeans pocket. With this price you’d think it would stay longer in better condition. Really not worth the money.

I bought this product a few months ago, and am quite pleased with how it has held up. It doesn't yellow or fade, but the back plate does scratch quite easily, and it has many scratches from being in and out of pockets and purses. Overall, I do recommend this case and it's a great product! It holds up to drops and hasn't broken or broken the phone. Easy to put on and take off when needed. I had this same style case on my old iphone, and knew I wanted this same style for my new one. Was very happy that I found this case.

Really Pretty, Scratches Easily
This case provides all the protection you expect from an Otterbox case with a classy design. The flecks on the back are incredibly fine, making it look more professional than your average glitter case. I haven’t have the case very long, but there are already some pretty visible scratches on the back. I can tell this will show light cosmetic damage pretty easily. Guess that’s to be expected from a clear plastic case.

Turned a nasty yellow
Iwanted a clear case, but I have seen others that turned yellow, so I was hesitant on getting this one. I went ahead with the purchase because I really wanted a clear case and it was an otterbox, a brand I love and trust to protect my phone. I bought the case on Jan 2017 and it's already starting to turn a nasty yellow around the perimeter. I'm absolutely disgusted by this. I wish I had trusted my gut and not bought this case because now I have to buy yet another case to replace it.

The Symmetry case is a really cute and durable case, but after a year or two might need replacement. The bumper is attached with some kind of adhesive and began coming apart from the plastic case, rendering my case useless. Considering the price of Otterbox, I’ll probably just purchase less expensive cases and plan to replace them yearly.

Protective with a Feminine Touch
I am a huge fan of Otter Box and have had a case for every iPhone I've owned for both work and personal. That said I wanted something a little different. I was afraid to go for a clear case but I also got a pink iPhone so what sense did it make to cover it up with a cover. When I saw the Symmetry sparkle case I thought it was fun. I absolutely love it. I feel that my phone is protected without all the bulkiness of a bigger case and I can actually see the phone. I know people who don't like cases because they like to be able to see their phone. This is the case for them.

I bought this a couple weeks ago because it was clear and I could see my new Rose Gokd IPhone 7. The case is clear with the perfect amount of sparkle. BUT, shipping seemed to take forever so if you need it sooner than 10 or more days, rush it. Also, the case is already covered in scratches and I am not sure where they came from, how it happened, or why. I have actually been cautious with this phone and case because the case does not cover the actual screen. I am kind of disappointed it already has all these scratches on it. I expect I will have to replace this case before thw phone.

Turned a nasty yellow color
When I bought this case the box said that it wouldn't turn yellow and it has badly. The top rim has turned such a nasty yellow color. I was also disappointed that the case wasn't crystal clear the frosted back threw me off. I will say it does an awesome job at protecting my phone, I'm just sad that it turned such a gross color.

The button on the upper right side is very difficult to push and lock my phone. Hopefully it will get better with use, but so far has been very irritating to use. Previously I had a gray one just like it to my iphone6 and did not gave the same issue.

Clear Case is not Clear
I've been a long time Otterbox customer for 6 years. I bought this "Clear" Case to show off my Jet Black iPhone. I was disappointed to see that the back of the case is frosted and not crystal clear. My Jet Black phone looks matte black.

Good case, do recommend
I bought this case about a week ago and as far as I can tell, it's a great case. Nothing has happened to my phone, although there are already a couple scratches on the case. Not a big problem though, so I'd still recommend it. My one complaint is that it's hard to get on and off your phone--a little tricky, but not impossible. Still, a good case; looks and feels nice and it does what it says.

Does the exact opposite of what it claims.
I’ve had this case a little over a week and it already has a deep scratch on the back and several shallow scratches all over the back. The description of this case on your website specifically states this case is scratch resistance and it obviously isn’t. I’m not happy with this case as Otterbox normally has the best quality cases.

I was so excited to have bought an Otter Box for my new phone & especially happy that they had one with a clear casing, but now that I have it, I’m really disappointed. The button functions on the side of my phone are really difficult to use with the cover on. The volume buttons are very stiff, but the side button is impossible to use meaning I can’t take screenshots at all or turn the home screen off without really forcing pressure down on it.

Sharp edges ?
I realize this case will protect my phone very well if dropped - but as far as holding the phone to text or to surf the web, it has what feels like sharp edges - it’s not comfortable to hold the phone .. does anyone else feel this way?

Surprised to be disappointed
I told everyone I knew about my OtterBox. I have multiple sclerosis and I drop my phone quite a fair deal. The last case I had from you guys was superb not only was my phone always protected from my shaky hand but the phone came with a template so that I could create custom backgrounds for the case. I wore that case into the ground I loved it so much so when I had to replace it obviously I was going to get another OtterBox. I tried my best to find the phone case that matched my previous one but the customer support service wasn’t able to identify my case. So after searching I settled on one that I thought was the closest in design. And in this new case my phone is so secure I can’t click any of the side buttons (power or volume) without indenting my fingers. It takes a couple tries to get my phone to screenshot or to shut off. I haven’t tried getting an image in the back because when I put the case on for the first time trying to get it off felt like I was going to snap the phone. (I double checked to make sure this is the correct size for my phone and it is.) While I haven’t lost total faith in OtterBox because my phone does feel safe I am not a happy Otter.

Thin Edging around glass screen
The edge around class screen was not as nice as a previous phone case I had. It’s ok, but I wanted to be able to turn my phone on its face safely. I don’t feel as confident with this case. Otherwise, the clear plastic backing appears to be a good choice. The price is too high for what it is.

Clear Otterbox
I always purchase an Otterbox because they are well made. This clear Otterbox is the first one I've had issue with, though more annoying than anything. The Power button on the side of my iPhone is really hard for me to press because it is too stiff. Otherwise it is a fine product.

No where in the specifications was it disclosed that there was no screen protection. Otterbox became number 1 in protective cellphone cases by protecting the screen. Otterbox phone cover
I ordered the clear Otterbox phone cover for iPhone SE 2nd Gen. through Otterbox. The cover is high quality and fits well. The cover is a little stiff where it covers the side buttons, but quickly softens to make it easier to turn off the screen and adjust volume.

A $60 mistake
We purchased an otter box for our grandson’s iPhone SE and he HATED it. Refused to use it. The screen protector side interfered with his texting on both sides. He had it “professionally installed” and they said “it’s not supposed to be like this, there’s something wrong with it”. I ended up replacing it with something that didn’t have the screen protector, we bought a shell case separately. It was a $60 mistake.

Okay, so I am the ultimate sparkle lover. I have to have glitter on my greeting cards, glitter on my nails and...well you get the idea. I found phone cases for my iphone with glitter that were pretty but not very protective. Then along come the Otterbox Symmetry Series Clear Case with Stardust. OMG! It is the perfect blend of sparkle and protection. So glad I purchased this case. When it is time to upgrade my phone there will be an Otterbox purchase as well.

I needed a new one!
I had an OtterBox case on my iPhone7 prior to taking the phone in for a battery replacement, but that one got broken when the tech tried to put the OtterBox back on... so, I had to get a new one. I mean, who wouldn't have... especially since the tech noted that my phone looked impeccable! OtterBox did that! So I got a new one... easier than the old one to put on. I'm happy now.

I haven't dropped my phone much so I can't really comment on the protection level, although I'm hoping it will stand up to Otterbox's usual standards. The case is adorable, though. A Definite Must-Have!
Pros:
This case is absolutely perfect! Excellent clear look, not trapped air bubbles or "wet-look". Offers excellent protection for the camera and the screen. All cut outs for speakers, lightning port and silent/ringer switch are perfectly lined up. This case also offers more grip to the phone and still gives a premium feel.
Cons:
There is only one in my opinion, and it may not effect many other people. Because I like to change cases from time to time, I find this case a little too snug fitting. And I am worried about doing damage to my iPhone 7 if/when I change cases. But this is obviously a good thing if you stick with the same cause.
Overall, a definite must-have for your case line up for your new Iphone 7!

Take Advantage of iPhone Colors
I've been happy with OtterBox Symmetry cases, so I was thrilled to see the clear case made available. All my iPhones were slate gray, because if it's hidden by a case, what's the point of having color? I would sigh looking at the color options. And I refuse to use my phone without a case.
No more! I purchased my first Rose Gold iPhone and couldn't be happier, because now I can appreciate the beautiful color, all because of the clear case.
I was worried it might be a stiff, brittle plastic, but no, I could count on OtterBox to make it perfectly. Smooth, not brittle, and a lovely clear that doesn't hide my iPhone. Definitely recommend.

I love otterbox cases, I always get a new one when I get a new phone. I got the Iphone7 so this is the one I chose. It shows off the rose color on the back of the phone. What's the point in getting a cool color on your phone if you can't show it off? And as always, the protection is on point! Great case!

I have this on my rose gold iPhone and I get compliments on it daily! I love the protection and how easy it is to remove and clean! It's lightweight and thin so you can still stick your phone in your pocket. I went with the stardust because I think the glitter gives a bit more oomph then the clear! The pictures don't do it justice as to how much this actually sparkles, in sunlight and out! I love my purchase!!

I wish the back edge of the case raised it from the rear of the phone, like the front. I wanted to use my phone mount but if I stick the magnet to the back of the case, it won't sit flush on the table.

The clear case allows for the color of the phone to shine. I've had it for about a month and dropped my phone a couple of times (short distance, soft landings) and have not had any issues. What kept me from giving it five stars was the side-buttons--you have to press them pretty hard to get them to work. Other than that, I'm very happy with the case.

I bought my first otter box almost 2 years ago and I’ve finally repurchased a new one. I only decided to replace my previous one because it was dirty. I drop my phone minimum once a day and I never have any fear with my otterbox cover. Best cover I’ve ever purchased. They do what they are supposed to do.

I'm a new customer, and I must say that I'm very pleased. I wanted a case that wasn't overly thick but provides enough protection. This case met all my needs. I also enjoy the "glowing" feature of the case when you use the flashlight. The back of the case is more opaque than I thought but looks really good on the silver iPhone.

This is the second symmetry series case I’ve purchased. The design is sleek and thin and still somehow SUPER protective. I love it!!! I will never use another case. I’ve tried several cases from other very reputable companies, and none of them protect my phone nearly as well as this case does. The only downside is that it scratches pretty easily. Fortunately, the case is clear so the scratches aren’t super obvious.

I purchased this product due to a new phone purchase. I would add that the only disappointment is I probably didn't notice that it has no protectant over the face of the phone. The sides and back are well protected though. I have always purchased OtterBox products for all my other tablets and phones but have always protected the front. Fear of dropping on the face or screen getting scratched.

I have always loved Otterbox products but this case scratches very easily. The back of the case is already covered in scratches and I've had it for only 5 days. I bought the glitter case and it is hard to see the glitter because the scratches distract and overwhelm it.

I love the "stardust". It's subtle but cute! Seems like a sturdy case. The only thing is that the side button for volume and to close your phone are a little tough to push (like you have to press harder than usual to get them to work). But other than that, it's a nice case!

I love this case! The sparkles are just the perfect amount where it glitters in the sun and is pretty, but its not overwhelming or unprofessional looking. I was skeptical about the reviews of it yellowing or getting dirty - the jury is still out since I've only had it a couple weeks. I feel that the yellowing is inevitable, but if it takes a while before it happens, then it's worth it. I haven't dropped my phone yet (*knock on wood*) but it feels very protective and I feel good about it being safe. The on/off button is a little bit difficult to push, but not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and would buy again (again - pending the discoloration question)

Not quite "clear". A good product nonetheless.
I've been a fan of Otterbox products (since my first purchase of an original iPad 1st generation Otterbox defender) and the company itself, in my opinion, has excellent customer service. I usually purchase two of the cases (defender and commuter) and swap them depending on the circumstances and travel plans. This review of the Symmetry series case comes after I've tried the Defender series for the iPhone 7.
As the title suggests, the case is not crystal clear; the back, I would describe as cloudy and murky. I've a black iPhone 7, and the logo doesn't show up as much through the case as I had hoped. If you're looking for a protective clear case that showcases your phone, this may not be the product you're looking for. The defender series has an intentional circle around the apple logo which I quite like.
Speaking of protection, I've already (inadvertently) dropped the phone while on a treadmill. It fell from the center console, managed to roll off the belt and land unceremoniously on the floor. While not a true test (say, on concrete or pavement), the phone was unscathed and I'd say the Symmetry case did its job.
What I like most about the case is the 'raised' front, allowing you to place the phone face down on a surface, without much worry that the screen would get scratched. It also has a rougher texture which prevents it from sliding around.
The balance between smoothness and a rubbery feel is a tricky one but I found the case was just right; "grippy" enough to hold but neither sticky or too slippery.
In terms of style, my friend remarked how he liked the case (he's into fashion and trends) and I would agree. It's simple yet functional, offering sufficient protection without bulk, and easy to remove and install. My main gripe and perhaps unfounded fear is a discoloration ( i.e. yellowing) of the plastic, making the case look "cheap". It is probable that's just the way the product is; not exactly "clear" as advertised, however, offering superior Otterbox protection coupled with ease of removal/installation in a reasonably priced package is a winning combination.

Side buttons too hard
I really liked the clear case to show off my Rose Gold iPhone 7 however; I have to give it 4 stars cos I hate how the side buttons are so hard to press in. The other cases are not like that. If Otter Box could redesign the side button then I would give another try but as it is now I can't stand it and had to buy another Otter Box case.

Not the same as the picture
I bought the clear symmetry case initially which I prefer. I replaced it because it was turning yellow. The new one had finger prints and scratches and always looked dirty. I have the jet black (shiny black) iPhone 7 and wanted the color to be visible. It still isn't. I like the sparkles but now you can' hardly see the apple and you can still see the fingerprints . I still prefer otterbox though..

I bought this case the day my phone arrived. I really like that you can see the lovely pink color of my phone. It fits nicely and protects my phone nicely. However, the on/off button is very stiff! It makes screen shots difficult. iy also makes single-hand use difficult. I love the sparkle!!!

The Perfect Fix - Protection for a Show-Off
Having the Beautiful Silver iPhone 7, I just had to consider getting a clear case to show off my Masterpiece of Technical & Artistic Vanity. It definitely is a head turner when I'm using my phone.
Protection Wise? No Worries, Otterbox once again lives up to it's Reputation! I was concerned that dropping the phone often, clumsy as I am, would leave a plathora of scratches on the Clear see through backing ... Amazing! What Scratches? The edges of the case has remarkably as well demonstrated to be made of materials that are tough.

I purchased the Symmetry Series Clear case online and I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews. I’m so amazed at the beauty and simplicity of this case! It shows off my new iPhone 8 and you can even see the rose gold through the sides of the rubber bumpers. Half the price of the Lifeproof which is larger and you can’t see through the sides. The only thing is protection. I’m not sure how well this Otter Box will protect my new all glass phone because I haven’t dropped it yet.

First clear case and I love it!
I typically am drawn to bright and colorful cases, however I finally got a Rose Gold iPhone and wanted to showcase the color. I've only been using it for a week and my biggest concern is whether the clear will become discolored, but as of right now I really love this case. It fits perfectly and feels good in my hands. The power button is sort of tough to push, but I'm sure that'll get better with time. It's just protective enough that it doesn't add bulk. A fun bonus is when you have the flashlight on, the whole phone case glows. I'm very happy they made a full clear case without a colored bumper.

I’ve had my clear symmetry case for I think about a month now. A lot of reviews said it was frosted, but it really is clear!! Mine hasn’t yellowed yet and I’m not worried about it because I believe if it does Otterbox will make it right. :) The case IS prone to scratches, but they’re really not noticeable unless you’re looking for them. Pretty dissapointed
I really liked this case at first but became pretty displeased after a while because it was difficult to take off my phone and clean underneath - which I needed since it was a clear case. Every time I took it off it lost a little integrity and eventually came completely apart. It also did not keep it's clear and became faded and scratched and really dark around the edge. Short term it was a nice case, but not if you intend to keep your phone for a few years.

I always like buy phone case from otter box, because you can be assured that, your phone will be okay, in any case of fall. That is something I need with my phone case.

Beautiful and functional
This case is gorgeous. It's an improvement from the old one I had which had grey rubber on the sides. It's clear with glitter everywhere.I had the same design for my last phone and I dropped it plenty and the phone never cracked. It's protective without being bulky.

Just Okay
After having my last Otterbox for almost 5 years, I knew I would buy another, so I went with the clear case this time. I didn’t realize the case was in US $ (my own problem) so it was definitely more expensive than I would have liked to pay. Although the clear looks very nice on, it does smudge and scratch way more than I imagined it would. I’ve only had for a month, and the edges on the case are marked up. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have gotten this case and would have gone with a plain black one. However,

Broke my phone
I had this case for like 2-3 months and it became all orangy yellow and scratched, i had my phone on a chair and it slipped and boom! my screen broke in pieces and it didn’t work anymore! The fall was about 40cm tall. I only had that phone for a year and all the money spent on it gone because of a 35$ phone case that i thought would be good quality, i am flabbergasted. I’m a stunned quebec citizen.
