Case yellows
I bought this clear case hoping to have a low-profile look that still shows my phone color. Well ... it turned completely yellow on the edges. My guess is that's why Otterbox has implemented the new design with the color block edging now, but that doesn't help those of us that bought a defective case :( I'm super disappointed in this.

OtterBox Symmetry+ for the win
Using on iPhone 13 Pro Max. Started out with similarly designed Apple case. Changed to OtterBox within 6 months. The Symmetry+ has much better touch and feel — not slippery like Apple case. It is more durable and has a compact profile. It works well with Mag charging and removable Mag PopSockets if you desire more grip control. Used this style of case on previous iPhones, so I didn’t hesitate to come back to the design once they included Mag charging.

Case turns yellow color
I've owned many OtterBox cases over the years and I never had any issues. I decided to buy a clear one for my new iPhone 13 Pro Max as I wanted to see the new blue color. After using it for a few weeks the case especially around the frame has yellowed making it look horrible! Would recommend staying away from this clear case and going with the standard Symmetry Series case.

Been an Otterbox user for years. New case feels oily on the back and I a worried it will slip out of my hand. Needs to be more rubbery to fell like I have a grip on the phone I just spent a lot of money on and want to protect

Very pretty case. Feels super durable and works well with MagSafe accessories. Feels very secure but I thought about giving 4 stars because it is very hard to remove. Currently using with the Pop Grip which is a MagSafe pop socket.

Great Case, Great Price! I love my Otterbox cases.

I've been a fan of the Symmetry series for years. I'm new to iPhones, and this was my first Symmetry for an iPhone. Phone was knocked off a 4' table, and the back shattered. The raised surface of the cameras was cracked and chipped despite the raised edges of the case. Zero protection...what a waste of money!!!

Did not protect like it should have
I bought this case after I dropped my phone and the back shattered. I figured it was because I had a cheap case on it. However, the exact same thing happened again last week, and the back, again, shattered. The case is also turning yellow.

Dropped phone and it’s cracked- no warranty!
This is bogus! It is nice looking and I like that it is mag safe but they are doing nothing about my phone being cracked all over from one drop!

Nice and Sleek but doesn’t protect your phone
I bought my phone and Symmetry Series+ Clear Antimicrobial case in March 2022 as a business purchase. While it looks and feels nice on the device it doesn’t protect it. I dropped my phone with the case on and it still damaged and cracked the back glass and chipped my camera smh. Repairs aren’t covered over warranty so I have to pay to get my phone fixed which isn’t cheap :/. Very disappointing experience. I could have bought a cheaper more protective case from another company not i out my faith in Otterbox.

Got the teal colored one at Target. Phone dropped flat on back from table less than 36” and the whole back shattered. Would not recommend.

Worst purchase EVER!
Don’t waste your time with this piece of junk! Drop my phone once in this case and it shattered to pieces! I have had less expensive cases and they held up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR THE HEARTBREAK AND TIME THIS WILL COST YOU IN REPLACING YOUR PHONE!!!!

Better than Apple Case
I bought the Apple case, and unless you wish to buy a bar of soap, that’s what you get with the Apple version. Slippery like no tomorrow, you have to hold it with a tight grip. Putting it down even worse it will slide off any surface. So glad Otterbox came out with their version, unluckily when i got my phone the Otterbox was not available yet. Switching over to the Otterbox you can feel the difference, You finally have a grip and it wont slide off surfaces either.

Impossible to get on, horrible support, poor color
First, it was nearly impossible to get it on but at least now that it's on it's not going to fall off. However it may b4 earthly impossibl4 to remove without scratching the phone in the future. Customer service is a joke. Only via chat and apparently not employees but some sort of volunteers who are no help. The blue is a pretty poor color, nowhere near the blue of my blue iPhone. The only positive is I'm trusting the description of the military tests, that it will protect my phone if it is dropped, etc. Plus I bought the MagSafe one and my Apple MagSafe charger does appear to work.

The case protects the phone and charges fine, however the biggest downfall of this case is that it doesn’t protect the camera lenses. You need to buy additional protection.

It works with the magsafe battery, the phone holder. I have dropped my new iphone at least 5 times in the first two weeks. I am so clumsy, but my phone is protected and happy. Get it you won't be sorry.

Otter Box case is the best!
This is my 2nd Otter Box clear case. 1st was for my iPhone 8 Plus. It let the pretty red phone’s color show through & survived a number of “oops” dropped phone events. When I bought my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I looked at Otter Box again (with the MagSafe but ultimately decided on Apple’s clear case. :-( Didn’t feel as protective as my previous Otter Box so I ordered this Otter Box Symmetry for MagSafe. LOVE IT. Fits perfectly. Able to easily access and/or use all the buttons. Camera lenses are somewhat protected by the raised edge of the case. The MagSafe functions perfectly. What I love best: the OtterBox case has rubberized edges & corners. That provides the protection that I’m looking for. I haven’t dropped this new phone yet but I know it is inevitable - I feel confident that this case will provide good protection.

Great Case
I have been a long time Speck customer but needed a MagSafe case pretty fast. Out of the color and what I was looking for I though I would give Otter a try and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The case looks good and is easy to keep a good grip on it. In the future Otter will be at the top of the running for a new case.

Rough Finish and hard corners
I’ve had Otterbox on phone for years now. I ordered the Symmetry hoping for the same quality case as usual.
This time I’ve been very disappointed. The first issue is that no one seems to have actually QAed this thing. It is uncomfortable to hold up to the ear. There is a ridge that digs into my ear. Secondly, the mold for the rubbery bits left behind marks where the rubber flowed between the mold halves.
I would expect this quality for a $15 Chinese case, it is disappointing to have this quality from Otterbox.

Poor Quality
I purchased this case less than a month ago and the case has severely yellowed even though the description stated it wouldn’t. I clean and disinfect it every week but nope! The sides of the case have turned dark yellow. I recommend purchasing through apple as customer service through here is so difficult to reach. Very disappointed.

I love the protection Otterbox provides. The only reason I only give 4 stars is the darn case is almost impossible to remove. I don’t have a reason to remove the case and I can wait a couple of years before I HAVE to remove it. It’s just that it’s a one piece case and when you put it on, it stays on.

Clear otterbox protection, with mag safe "visible" ring (great to have, wishing the case had a some what higher lip ( like in the days of iphone X ) all in all this case ( so you know ), sits flush with the glass, making me feel Unprotected, I'll just be extra careful .. I have always trusted, and purchased ONLY OTTERBOX case ( from my first iphone 3g :)
