Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased to charge Otterbox wireless charger Purchased the item to fast charge the Otterbox Fast Charge Wireless 10,000 mah charger along with my Samsung Galaxy 9+ and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. A concerning issue is plugging and unplugging this item from an electrical outlet makes a loud electrical snapping noise. I thought maybe it was a particular outlet so I tried multiple locations in my home then multiple locations inside of a school, and a friend's home. I think just in general that is what occurs but am unsure why. It is advertised as safe but the snapping noise is electrical arcing. Reaching out to chat says all representatives are busy with no way to contact. Calling gets the same response. I wouldn't recommend a product that makes electrical snapping noises and no way to contact the company to get the matter resolved.

I was a true Apple person for everything but their cords have gotten very cheap and fall apart I now order everything from OTTERBOX their cords and their chargers hold up charge fast and fit everything and every Apple device I have excepts their chargers. They are the best the best the best I now have two sets and I couldn’t be happier I have no complaints they don’t crack and break they just last forever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome charger that fits the bill perfectly I was searching initially for a USB-A to USB-C adapter to use with my new iWatch charging cable then I found this incredible, high-quality, dual output Otterbox charger. This wall charger is great, not only does it allow me to connect my two types of charging cables at the same time but, it also fully charges my iPhone 12 Pro Max and 44mm iWatch in record time! I would recommend this wall charger to anyone that wants to maximize the use of your wall outlets and quick charge your devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The folding outlet plug-in is faulty ! This charger would be amazing if it didn't have a problematic folding plug. The two prongs that you stick into the wall outlet can be folded into the charger box, meant to be convenient for travel, actually make it a nightmare to use this charger. Many reveiws say their charger stopped working, or maybe even worse, starts shorting out on their phone. Often times causing snapping noises created by electricity arcs or your phone charging for a split second, stopping, and charging again off and on very quickly which is most likely very bad for your phone and extremely annoying in the least. I've kept this charger plugged in next to my bed. I don't travel with it, I don't ever unplug it or mess with it because I have a different charger I use during the day if need be. There's almost no way it has been damaged by me from being plugged in the wall and left alone I literally only keep this plugged in next to my bed so I always have my night time charger ready when it is bed time. My samsung charger is in the living room and i take it wherever I need it during the day... Shortly after purchasing this charger I noticed that just grabbing the cable to plug my phone in would pull the charger box a tiny bit and it would start snapping and arcing like crazy until I pushed it all the way into the outlet. And I mean ALL the way JAMMED into the outlet. After doing that a few times I realized you had to have the prongs fully extended straight out, if they start to fold at all it stops working. This is a large box and with cables connected it tries to fold on its own while plugged in. If you bump the cable at all the prongs try to fold under its own weight and it cuts off the connection from the outlet to the charger for some reason often causing the snapping electricity arc and always failing to charge. I don't know if all of them do this because there are many 5 star ratings, but also 1 week after I bought mine I would have given 5 stars as well. It works great when it actually works and the two charging ports are a big plus. It fast charges my girlfriends Iphone, which don't come with chargers anymore let alone a fast charger, and my phone at the same time though one outlet. But after a few months of use - it became a whole different story. Theres almost NO WAY they don't know about this design flaw, or they don't care enough to maintain quality control. Either way this is not what I expected from the OtterBox brand which I consider one of the best phone case companies. The number of 1 star reveiws confirms this happens often and I'm just a 25 year old with a regular high school deploma no engineering or technical background but I figured all this out just from trying to get this charger to work correctly and reading 4 or 5 reveiws ... Please step up quality control or ditch the folding design. It really isn't that appealing to me to have those fold in anyways, charger boxes are small and easy to transport even with them sticking out what ¾ of an inch and you never have problems like this with ones that don't fold . . .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big disappointment This charger did not live up to the expectation at all. The usb-a port does not seem to fast charge, although the usb-c port charges very fast. However the block itself is so heavy it hangs down from every outlet, losing the connection therefore not charging. It won’t work with any sort of extension cord, as well as sparks from every outlet I put it in, it even melted one of my plugs.

I have to keep my phone at a certain angle or else it will charge for 10 seconds and then not charge and then start charging again and its super annoying. I figured it was the chord and it had bad connection (because it is a little lose but it turns out it was the box that plugs into the wall. Not happy at all. I should have just went with the Samsung charger.

If you disconnect the phone and connect again it will not charge unless the charger is unplugged and plugged after a minute or less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive and Won’t Last I bought three wall chargers and four cords for our iPhones. Of those seven items, one wall charger and three cords have quit working. We’ve only had the items 2 months. I bought these expensive chargers because I thought they would last. I went to get a return on the first cord that literally fell apart and was told I had to pay shipping on the new cord and returning the faulty cord at the tune of $20.00. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not purchase.
