Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never have a phone without an Otterbox case I love my case for my phone. It is a perfect fit and has already saved my phone from several drops. Only problem I have is with the protective glass that I bought for it. It did not lay flat and I have several ghost spots where it is not adhering to the phone glass well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not what i expected I bought this a month ago to have it on hand when my iPhone 13 pro arrives. not what I am use to it does have the magsafe to charge my phone but not the feel of the Max Defender Series Case which is a good unit to have. I will return this item for the Max Defender Series Case. Reason the feel of the phone doesn't have the rubber feel around the enter phone which I am use to for a complete protective case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay so far It’s a decent case but the cameras need to be protected more with a higher raised lip around them. Definitely miss my defender pro series but they are not MagSafe compatible. The holster clip does not hold the phone well at all. My phone has come loose three or four times in the past month. I had to modify the clip with some duct tape in the corners for the phone slides in and now it is nice and secure. Should have came a little bit tighter fit from the factory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST DEFENDER YET for my iPhone 13 Pro Max! I'm beyond pleased with this case as it protects better than any other I've tried. Mag Safe charging works perfectly! The unhappy reviews are from people who don't know how to properly put their iPhone into the XT...first, use your fingernail to locate and pry back the top colored rubber border (except same color rubber on black model), then reach in and distach and pull out the thin black plastic frame that snaps onto the case back. Place the iPhone into the back of the case. Now lift up a corner piece of the rubber border and work the thin black plastic frame under it, snapping it back onto the case base. It takes a little practice and time, but this is the best case that exists for the new iPhone! I bought all three colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This used to be the brand of brands… What happened I have been an OtterBox user since the inception of the company. All of my iPhones, iPads use otter boxes. However I’ve never been so dissatisfied with the lack of engineering details and overall horrible ingenuity. The phone is extremely slippery I’m having to use skateboard tape in certain areas around the rear of the phone and even parts of the edges in order to just be able to hold the phone. There’s no reason why there’s no texture on the rear or on the sides. Both rubber and poly carbonate can handle texture and when holding a $1500 device you should take every step possible and every measure to make sure that that protection starts in your hand with a solid grip. I have never been so dissatisfied with a case. The overall design , the way that it assembles and disassembles, the lack of stability in the hand and not just mine but everyone that I have let hold the phone in the case and apparently others writing similar reviews this feels more like a $15 case I expect this type of quality from Walmart not a boutique firm like OtterBox. I’m stuck with the case because there really aren’t that many other options… I’m assuming that’s going to change now that competitors see what you guys have put out. Hoping the skateboard tape fixes the issues but it’s ridiculous that I spend this kind of money to have to modify a case . If you need help with engineering maybe ask your users…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Defender Case Finally a case that meets the standard of Defender with a thinner design. The difference is huge and it makes carrying it a lot more comfortable. I always use the holster to carry my phone. Make sure to get the holster designed for the Defender Series XT, not the Defender. I've seen a poor review in which they used the holster for the Defender and naturally it was too big. Oh, works great with Magsafe products!

I like the angles and the quality to protect your iPhone from sudden drops. I always invest in high-quality cases and it pays off in long run. I wish it came with more colour choices and somehow you can see the Apple logo in the back.

I have always preferred the Defender cases for ultimate protection and aesthetics for my iPhones…..until now. The Defender case for the iPhone 13 Max Pro was labeled “for iPhone 12 Max and large 2021 phones”. Does it fit? Yes. Does it look and feel inferior to my previous Otterbox cases? Yes. I’m disappointed with the quality and color of the new cover. At least your Otterbox coffee mugs are still my #1. Don’t expect my future phone cases to be Otterbox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge disappointment !!! I was always a fan of the Defender. But this one is crap. The texture of the case is really slippery. Even worse on a cold day with cold hands. Constantly slipping through my hands and even when I put it on my dashboard leaning, it always slips and falls flat. Worse case composition ever. This only applies to the MagSafe case. Other Defenders are great but no MagSafe charging. I can’t believe the company though this was a great product

Since the 5 came out…idk if it will protect as well as the old style BUT the feel in my hand isn’t the same and it slips off EVERYTHING!! The rubber isn’t “non slip”. I didn’t even use it for a whole day and went back to my old one…COME ON OTTER BOX!! You can do better!! I’m a Paramedic…NO bueno!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BAD FIT I bought the defender series xt with mag safe for my iPhone 13 pro max. no holster...they did send a note for buying one for the price of shipping....so i paid the $5 and got the holster....the phone is loose in the holster and falls out very easily....maybe that's why they didn't send one with it!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basically the commuter case I purchased this the Defender XT case in mineral and the color is perfect. Overall, the does the job and fits the phone. However, I gave it three stars because it is essentially the commuter series case at a much higher price. The biggest let down is back of the case, which provides zero grip and it easily slips and slides everywhere. I am used to the defender series on my 11 pro max which provides all around grip that covers the screen. I do like that the case fully covers the screen edges if it is set face down on a surface, something the regular defender series for this phone does not do. I would only recommend this case if you plan on using magsafe things and do not mind the slick backing of the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case, Excellent MagSafe Compatibility Difficult to put on, but worth it if it means the case won't stretch. Some people complain about the hard plastic back (vs the soft plastic in the normal Defender) but I actually like it better, even if it does slide a tiny bit on surfaces because it is more durable and won't stretch, and makes the MagSafe experience better. The case adheres to various MagSafe products and chargers very well-- which I understand is rare for cases this thick/protective. The charging port cover is excellent, and doesn't put any pressure on cables like the traditional Defender/Commuter flap does. I was initially taken aback by the price, but I can justify it because I know the case might save me from having to repair/replace a damaged phone down the road and because Otterbox actually honors their warranty. The one problem with the case is that the mute switch cutout makes turning mute off easy enough, but turning it back on almost impossible if you don't have long fingernails. But overall, five stars.
