Love the otter box pro
I love the otter box pro. I’ve had several and it’s the first accessory I buy when I get a new phone. I love the belt clip so I don’t have to worry about having a pocket to put it in.
I’ve dropped or sent my phone flying on accident before and have yet to have damage.
When I have broken a belt clip, they are great about warranty replacement.

Worse purchase ever. Shattered back of phone while
Do not buy this case. My iphone broke while in the case. I was looking at my camera and noticed a crack i took the case off and the glass was shattered. I am so upset because i did research and took my time to find a good case and only had it for 5 months. I would recommend a different brand!

Worth the Money
My Defender has lasted me about exactly 2 years. Ive had it and worn it down, dropped it and its always done its job. The flaps that cover the charging port kinda just fell off after a while but that was not that big of a deal. Overall 10/10 case.

Defender Warranty
I bought 2 of this cases and both last less than one year. I didn’t know about the warranty. I try to reclaim the warranty but the cases Defender Series are not in the list warranty.

Warranty in Canada not respected
Bought Defender series for my husband's iPhone 13 Pro in Feb2022 (long time user); in July holster broke. Submitted a warranty order online and received a new holster. But for a while now phone does not stay securely fastened and pops out when touched. Other cases never did that, and naturally phone drops to the ground. I was making another warranty order online for case, and site says can't ship to my location in Canada!!!! But it will ship if I order a new one and not through warranty.

Outer shell disintegrates quickly
Mediocre case. I’ve had this case for all 3 of my last phones and after a few months, the outer rubber shell starts to disintegrate. It will prevent your phone from being damaged, but dont expect it to last long. 2 of the first things to go will be the cover for the charging port then the cover for the silent switch. I recommend you hang on to your receipt because you will be needing it for the replacement. I got mine at Best Buy and tried to recover the receipt to no avail and otterbox wont replace even the outer shell without a receipt.

I started buying the Defender series for my wife's Iphones about 5 years ago. At the time I was working as a mobile phone repair technician and my coworker recommended Otterbox. We have two small boys. The Defender is the only case that provides the level of protection necessary to keep her devices in good condition. My only (mild) criticism is the color choices, there are far too few and none in the more feminine color palate my wife prefers.

Bought otterboxes since the iphone 4s, never again
Today, I decided to upgrade my phone from the iphone SE to the iphone 13. I went down to verizon, picked it up, and asked the verizon employee if they had, and I quote "any of those really good otterbox cases in stock", I, and I swear this is all true, I have literally bought otterbox cases since I bought my first smartphone in 2012, was a bit dissapointed when she brought out an otterbox without a front cover/screen protector, said nevermind, and figured it was just some weird mixup.
So I drove to the best buy down the road and went in and found the otterbox defender (as far back as i can remember I've bought the defender series) and I asked the guy if I could take it out and see how it looks on my phone he said sure, so I popped it out and I dead rear end thought someone had stolen the front cover. I LITERALLY told the best buy employee someone must have stolen the front half and he said "nah they dont make them with the front part anymore."
I was really confused, because the price tag said "69.99", and the case I bought for my iphone SE was also "69.99" 1 1/2 years ago, and this iphone 13 case is literally HALF AS MUCH CASE. But luckily, if I so desired, I could pay an extra 50 bucks for the otterbox screen protector on the otterbox website .....
Nothing but otterbox since 2012, and right now I'm looking all over online for the closest thing to what otterbox used to be. Wow.

Best on the market ! I’m constantly dropping my phone and it hasn’t damaged the phone what so ever ! The only time I’ve broke the otterbox is when it gets caught on something from my belt clip , then it’s replaced for free all you pay is shipping. Highly recommend !

Ive used the defender pro for 3 different phones. A droid x2 a iphone se(first edition and now the iphone 13 . Im glad the They opted to remove the clear film off of the front. Although it didnt cause issues with the phone and protected the screen it scratched easily and would ultimately be the failing point of an otherwise bulletproof case.

Had it and my iPhone 13 for about a month and this case is a big improvement from my Defender case for my very old iPhone SE 1st gen EXCEPT that there isn't a screen protector included. That costs extra and is quite expensive. A bit disappointing but the case itself is really nice and with some great improvements in ergonomics from the past versions.

You Get what you Pay for !
I previously bought a cheap wanabe OtterBox and the quality was so bad. I got this real OtterBox afterwards and it was a night and day difference. This was quality you can feel right away. You can tell the materials were built to last. I couldn't justify putting a $10 case on a $900+ phone. Now I feel safe knowing my iPhone can withstand real drops no problem. Invest in a good case or be prepared to call Asurion.

I’ve gone looking for prettier and cuter cases, but I always return to otter box defender. There is no other case I’ve found that matches the protection especially around the *front* side of the IPhone. For some reason other “tough” cases forget about the front side. This is where mine always seems to fall, flat on it’s screen. The otterbox has a tall lip around the front edge that no other case has. With a phone as fragile as the IPhone, you can’t afford not to use an Otterbox(if you drop your phone as much as I do

I bought this case model because the symmetry series case was not yet in stock. I am glad I bought this one. It has a great grip, and a good lip protecting the front and back cameras. I was worried about it being too bulky, but it was not. If you’re looking for a good case to protect your phone and dust ports, this is a great one!

Excellent As Expected
A few weeks into using it daily, I noticed that the front corners have just a little bit of black shade to the nice blue color where the handy belt clip rubs on the case. Will this dissipate with more use? We will see. The red (color of the iPhone) around the camera lenses contrasts very nicely with the blue, making for a distinctive look.

The Defender for the IPHONE 13 is great! The Amplify Glass that I received was horrible. It lasted 2 days and then it wrinkled and had bubbles underneath it. It went on great and looked good but for the price, it was terrible.

Love the Sturdiness of the Case, HOWEVER....
I love the case. It's quite sturdy. Being a first time Otterbox customer, I did have a big problem with the installation instructions, there were only 4 or 5 basic pictures (no words that didn't really explain to me how to put the darned thing on. Eventually, after watching a YouTube video those basic installation pictures made more sense.

A little disappointing
The case itself is very nice and put together. The assembly of it was a little complicated to put on the phone but once on, it’s very protective and durable. Unfortunately I bought the case for my dad and even though it protects the product well, wireless charging is very unreliable. He uses an Apple wireless charging pad and it just doesn’t seem to attach well without taking the rubber surrounding piece off the case. Is there something we can do to fix that?

Phone survived being run over by a truck
I had the OtterBox defender and screen protector and I was riding my bike and my phone flew out of my pocket right under a tire and I watched the wheel run right over it. There were tire marks on the back of the case and my phone is absolutely fine. Not a scratch on it, and it works.

This series is great.I just wish this case also had the extra protective layer over the screen like my previous Otterbox purchases. I feel my phone is exposed and will need to buy a screen protector but all in all, this is a very good case.

Great case. I've had trouble getting the OtterBox glass protector to line up with this case as there is a very small margin for error. The customer service of OB has been great though, and sent me a new screen protector after my last one bubbled. I love the purple color-- it helps me not to loose my phone as often!

No touchscreen cover!
These are great cases, it’s the 6th one I’ve had, BUT… since it doesn’t have a touchscreen protector I felt I could only give 4 stars. All of my other cases came with a thin plastic front cover. This protection saved wear on my touchscreen and allowed me to get full trade-in value. Please, please add the screen back! I did go with the Defender Pro after all!

Otterbox did not disappoint yet again! This case is highly protective while also sleek. The purple is beautiful and looks like it will hold up very well. The case is on the bulkier side given the protection the case provides, but not overly so. Very happy with this case and will continue to recommend Otterbox.

Great case. It’s fairly thin around the sides and the added thickness on the back protect the cameras. On the front it curves up on the top and bottom of the phone so you can lay it on its face without the surface touching the screen. The sides are fairly level with the screen, making swiping forward and back a breeze. I

I bought this about a month ago for my iphone 13 and have since not used it anymore due to the size/bulkiness. It is difficult to fit in a jeans pocket which I typically do. Have dropped the phone as a test and it held up very well however so if you don’t mind how large it is I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a strong protective cover.

I've been using my new Otterbox for a little over a week. The case fits properly on the phone, all of the buttons and hinges work perfectly. The phone is able to charge thru the case without any issues. However, I have had an issue with the case fitting into the holder (the holder seems a bit large) but this isn't an issue for me, as I generally don't use the holder. This is my third Otterbox, I am expecting it to outlive my phone. Oh, and did I mention, it's purple!

it’s okay, it’s an otter box.
I love otter box because I drop my phone all-the-time. When my phone falls people gasp and give me a pitying looks.
I say, it’s okay, it’s an otter box.
I would like one in neon pink or neon orange. The black is invisible and the purple is still too subtle.

Best Purchase ever
I love my Otter Box and gave it a 5- star rating. I left my i-Phone on top of my truck and began driving down the highway. I was moving at speeds over 55 mph when my i-Phone fell off the truck and onto the highway. My i-Phone hit the pavement then flipped into the grass. When I returned to the highway to pick it up, I expected it to be in small pieces, but was so excited to discover that there was only yellow paint on the outside of the Otter Box letting me know that it hit the yellow line when it fell off. Every phone I purchase must have an Otter Box for protection.

Not wireless charging
I bought this case and a wireless charger hoping it would work with the charger but it does not and I am really mad and disappointed because I spent a lot of money on the case and charger just for it to not work

No more plastic screens please!!!
The screen picks up so much dirt and dust under it. The plastic is so easily scratched that it is useless.

I really dislike how noisy these cases are. Every time I pick it up the case creaks, and my old otterboxes weren’t like that. I’ve already sent in for warranty on it, and I feel like I need to again because I don’t think a $60 case should be so imprecise.

Buy an otterbox now!
I have always been a fan of otterbox as I am very hard on my phones. I have dropped them off of mountain sides, jumped in the Arctic Ocean with my phone, taken it whitewater rafting, and fallen into rivers. My phone has always been safe in its otterbox case. Recently I put it through the ultimate test. I dropped my phone into a 5 gallon bucket of white paint while remodeling my house. I immediately fished it out (it was fully submerged) and threw it in the sink. I washed it off as best I could then took off the phone case. There was very minimal paint inside the case. The phone never stopped working and is perfectly fine. If you were unsure if an otterbox was worth the price, let me tell you, it absolutely is! I will always have an otterbox on my phone!

Great Protection, Fails for charging
Great protection for the phone, however absolute failure in design. The case prevents the phone from charging wirelessly. It makes no sense to me. Great job team. Taking the case back to target tomorrow. Very disappointed with y’all. I expected better.

Horrible loose plastic cover..DO NOT BUY!
I’ve had other otterbox cases and liked them…but they were harder shell. Otterbox has no business making softer outer plastic cases. I bought this case in blue because I liked the feel of it. Almost immediately I realized it was a problem…the outer colored portion was loose on on four corners and constantly popped partially off in my pocket. After enduring this for a couple months, I looked online and saw this was a VERY common problem with it. Eventually I tried the hot water trick (yes, done perfectly to the letter)…it helped maybe 20% for about 24hrs before it became looser. This plastic is just far too stretchy and insufficiently elastic to be functional at all. This is a clear materials failure and was a grievous error in material selection by otterbox. Do not buy any case with this type/grade of soft plastic covering…it has a nice hand feel…but will never stay on the harder plastic cover or phone. I know two others with same issue. Otterbox no doubt knows by now it’s a dud and yet when I saw it still for sale instead of discontinued, I had to write this review on the main sites to warn people. For this much money (for a mere phone case)…we expect better.
