I usually wait a couple of months to delete insurance on a new phone after I put the Otterbox on, knowing that there is a possibility I will drop the phone at some point and when that eventually occurs ... no damage! So when I finally upgraded my phone to the S21+ I wanted to make sure it would be just as protected as my Note5. So I purchased this Otterbox. I wish they would have kept the plastic protective cover on this model like they had on the Note5 model, but I know they have to figure out how to make more money off of us all...so after purchasing the case I had to go & purchase the plastic screen cover. Already dropped my new phone on the concrete floor & thought for sure it was a gonner but nope no cracks. Thank you Otterbox.

No worries about my S21+ from being dropped. Otterbox is my go-to case & I'll keep coming back for them & the excellent customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable protection I have used a Defender case on 4 different cell phones since 2012. I have never had a drop or fall that damaged a phone with the case. They are "grippy" in the hand; the multiple layers of case materials give excellant heft and feel in the hand. The belt carrier portion helps to protect the screen when in a pocket or backpack / dufflebag / briefcase. The Defender Pro has a bit more thickness to the outer casing, so I chose to upgrade for my latest case. I am very satisfied with the Pro case. The only problem I ever encountered with any Defender case is the charging port cover. After about a year or so of opening and closing it daily for charging, it can begin to weaken or tear at the flex line. Only had one that tore off - and that was on a Galaxy S3 that I used for six years! I'd say that is an excellant record. Some say they are too pricy; but safety and protection is well worth the cost.

My carrier (T-Mobile) no longer offers it. Hopefully, this one lasts more than 2 years before the protection flap came apart from the case.

This compenent started to tear, requiring the new purchase. Other than that, im happy with it. Would and will buy it again.

This on fits very well and covers all corners and I feel a lot safer with this case. I mean I am paying way to much money for a phone and I want it completely protected by a good case like this one instead of a flimsy one.

The size of the case is much slimmer than expected, easy to grip, and fits perfectly. The holster is something I would use sparingly due to its bulk, BUT perfect for protection &/or as a holster attached to your belt, or when you need to throw your phone into a backpack when outdoors and protect the screen. Negatives: No directions for how to convert the holster into a kickstand (which is easy enough to do once you look up instructional videos.

We have only used OTTERBOX for all of our phone cases and protection. No issues at all after over 15 years of using OTTERBOX to protect our cell phones, whether it be SAMSUNG or iPhone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impossible to install without tools The Galaxy S21+ Defender Pro Otterbox case I purchased was very well made and it appeared to be the solution I was looking for, however, I returned it because it was too difficult to install and required tools to avoid breaking the case or causing damage to the case or phone. If you need a YouTube video to provide instructions for installation of a phone case, something is wrong. Great materials - good colors - excellent idea, but it didn't work for me.

You have the plastic frame and then the silicone outer cover that goes over the frame. There are clips on that frame that allow the top and bottom to be clipped together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for drops but button keys are too stiff This case is great for falls as it protects your phone from being damaged if you drop it. I am very heavy handed so have always invested in otter box for my cell phones. They have never let me down with the protection they provide. This case is not exception from that protection. However, I am extremely frustrated with this case bc it does not work effectively for the bottom button. It is very hard to press and only seems to make contact with the actual button and therefore functions on my phone about 25% of the time.

I read ALL the reviews and watched ALL the videos and even though this was the MOST EXPENSIVE case out there I got one and I'm Glad I did ! This case totally protects my phone I spent over a thousand $ on my phone and I wanted THE BEST protection . I have it ! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Otterbox I have always used otterbox cases on all my phones. When we bought the S21+ the first thing we bought was a defender pro series case. I work in industrial environments and having a case that can stand up to what I put these through is a must! Once again otterbox does it right. The case is not overly bulky (It does add some bulk to the phone, wireless charging is a breeze and the phone is well protected. Will continue to use these cases until I am giving a reason not to.

I have a neurological condition that makes it difficult for me to hold on to items. Needless to say my phone hit the ground quite often. When I removed my old phone to trade in it looked brand new after cleaning (I did use the old version glass screen protector. Of course, I'm typing this review on my new phone in an otterbox,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long time user I finally upgraded from my note 5 to a s21plus And as other reviews disappointed that there isn't a screen protector built in like my previous defender case one note 5 that had lots of scratches and gouges but phone looks like new after 6 years. I'm not sure if the separate screen cover is compatible with the defender case.
