Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome with one slight exception I really like it! When I put the phone on speaker it's much louder and clearer than the other rubber protector I had purchased. Also, the hard shell enables the rubber part of the case to not roll onto the surface of the part of the screen near the power button which was a real nuisance with other protector I had. I did not give a five star only because it lacks the carrier that I could clip to my belt that I had on my previous phone. That carrier also was a stand for the phone and had several other functions. But overall I really like it!

My only problem is that the hardened shell on the right side of the phone stops below the power button, which is not covered by the case for obvious reasons, so the soft case around the volume buttons can be pushed around easily and possibly deformed in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed This otterbox was not what I was assured it would be by otterbox customer support. I explained to the rep that this case needed to be enclosed securely. I also told the rep I did not need screen saver as I already had purchased 3 of them. When it arrived, I saw immediately that I had been misinformed. But to give it the benefit of the doubt, I dropped it on the floor. It broke apart. I was unable to put it back together. I did not call them to complain as I felt there was no point. If they misled me before I bought it, I reasoned I would be wasting my breath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as the defender series I bought this case for my moto g power 2021. I have always used Otter box in the past and loved them! Unfortunately Otter BOX only offers the commuter lite case for this phone. It doesn't protect like the defender series and is kinda slippery to hold onto. Slides out of shirt pocket easily when bending over. If you ever make a defender case for this phone please let me know!

Because it is a less expensive phone and deserves less safety? Commuter Lite does not come with screen protector so must buy it separately. I don't like that the screen protector sticks to the glass on the phone, plus I spent an hour scrubbing the bubbles out of it. Really? The old screen protectors got oil under them, but just open and clean now and then. I'm sure Commuter Lite will protect to the level it is supposed to protect, but it is not the protection level of a Defender.

I tend to be quite rough on my devices and I dont believe the commuter is thick enough. My old defender is in sad shape afer 4+ years and I'm sure glad I had it or my device would have never made it. I will be on the lookout for a defender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Protection This is the second Otterbox Commuter case I have had. Had my last phone for 6 years and dropped it regularly. The phone never had a crack or other issue. When I got my new phone, I got another Commuter case. It fits extremely well, is lightweight and streamlined, easy to install, and seems to be protecting my new phone as well as my last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality I only purchased another OtterBox because I previously had purchased one without much thought about it. But after having it, I was impressed with it. Most phone cases really do not do much to protect your phone. The OtterBox really is one of the best cases I have seen on the market. The raised edge around the phone screen is one of the biggest perks. The only downside is that of you have large fingers like me, touching the very edge of your screen can be a little difficult. My last OtterBox had its own built-in plastic screen cover which I kind of liked. However, it had some down falls like water getting caught in-between the screen and plastic. This phone case for my G Power doesn't have the plastic screen protector, and that is okay. It also uses a mix of plastic and rubber. I like the rubber for grip and slips, and the thick plastic for durability. I hear people complain about how bulky the case makes the phone, but I actually enjoy that fact. I have big hands and these super thin phones are impossible to keep a grip on them. Overall, one of the best phone cases out there.
