Rated 5 out of 5 by from Support is the best because they support the best I’ve been purchasing OtterBox products for a long time because they have the best products on the market. In 2018 it was confirmed that not only the products but the company itself is the best. Long story short, a true hero an American soldier serving in Iraq was struck by an exploding IED and hurt real bad and had his phone in left breast pocket. The phone was encased in an OtterBox case. The phone took the burnt of the hit. It saved his life, and to top it off the phone still worked. So if it can save a hero’s life and take on an IED explosion directly, it’s good for me. Also was awesome to see OtterBox sponsor him in the special Olympics. Great products and great company.

I've been buying ZAGG glass screen protectors for phones for 10 years or more and the three years their glass cracks within days of install. Then I wait until I can't stand the chips around the edges and go through the return process over and over and over.

So I called Otter Box directly and purchased the defended series and protective glass, so far...so good. The case is sturdy and seems to be well made and the glass was easy to apply because to the kit. Love the case and glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meh I always have a problems with otterbox screen protectors. I always try not to get it but bought this one to see. It reminds me why I dont get these. I get weird air bubbles and I followed the instructions. I decided to put back my old screen protector and it still managed to be put on okay even though I took it off (still looks better than otterbox). Even with the cracked corner or the screen protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn’t stick down all the way I used the template and followed the instructions very carefully and the screen protector did not stick down all the way on the side or at the bottom in the corner. I have never had this happen before with any other screen protector I have used before, even this same brand. I now have two spots that keep coming up even though I am continually trying to smooth it down.

The screen never adhered fully to my phone so over half of it looks bubbled and makes the touch inactive! $50 is a lot to pay for a piece of plastic!! I really thought one I had bought years ago from otter was glass. Just disappointing all around. Waiting for my claim to be resolved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love Otterbox but.... All of the smart phones I have ever owned over the past 14 years have all had Otterbox case. The cases are worth the cost as I never broke a smartphone while in an Otterbox case. I have Otterbox brand protection for my iPad, and Apple 6 Series watch also. But as for this Otterbox brand Amplify Glass Screen, it a good quality and the alignment tool that comes with it makes it hard to mess up the installation. We all know we are paying a super-premium price for minimal materials. While I have reconciled paying that price for Otter Box cases I cannot recommend paying nearly the same price for a piece of protective glass. The only reason I did was because the iPhone 12 Pro Max is so new it is hard to find protective glass for. If you pay more than $10-$15 for Smart Phone Protective Glass you are paying too much, no matter how it is made and who’s name is on it. I do not recommend if you can find a more reasonable priced screen protector. It got only 3 stars because it is grossly over-priced. ...Sincere & honest reviewer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, but already peeling Seems to be a high quality product, but mine is already peeling from the top after about a week of normal use. There's a small spot where it will not stick back to the phone, and it will eventually keep peeling and it will get dirt/dust under it. For $50 I expected more. This is just a product review, I have not reached out to Otter Box to see if they will replace it, I will update the review after I speak to them if it allows me to. I should also add that installation was very easy, don't let it intimidate you at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok but pop socket is hard to use Directionally I really like this case however it does not function as designed. Pop socket component is recessed into the case and is therefore much more difficult to put your fingers around unless you have very skinny fingers. Given the size of the phone it does not stand up on its own with the pop socket you still have to rest it against something.

I understand that it might be a factory defect but what bothers me is Otterbox charged me a fee to return or exchange a defective item. You can’t call them on the phone because nobody’s working due to COVID. Now I’m charge a fee. I would not recommend buying it directly thru them. Maybe go to a store so you can return it if there’s a defect without paying a fee.

Dust free environment is important- my house is clean, windows closed, A/C off; yet still appear to have dust particles even after a few seconds after the iPhone- clean out of the box. Removing the amplify glass required tearing the box- perhaps this is where the dust came from. In any case I installed the glass on two phones- one has a tiny bubble that will not go away, but doesn’t bother me. Getting the glass on straight requires a steady hand and paying attention to the alignment all the way around- need to pull up fairly hard or the bottom of the glass may touch the case

Doesn’t even line up with the phone I had to reapply it 4 times and the last try I just did it without the device. Now I have air bubbles and specks. So if you get it I recommend not to use the Device that comes with it!

I never dropped my phone and one day while using my phone I notice a line across my phone screen. My screen protector broke. For a screen protector that is worth over $50 I definitely expected more. Do not buy.

I’m having issues with one of the three buttons on the case. My volume down button will not work unless pressed with the finger nail really hard.

Even though there is no holster (holster is essential for my use the holster from my iPhone 7 Plus is a perfect fit with a small tweak to the side clip. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product Hard To Install Once I got the product installed, it's a great product. However, this was the 3rd Protector I tried. On the first one the glue wouldn't hold & it kept letting air in. Which impeded using my text messaging. The second time I installed the replacement protector, which your company sent me, It went on perfectly until I put the case (your case product over it. Then it started getting air bubbles around the edges. The third one (which I purchased from Target) i put the case over the phone & then applied the protector. This worked well. I feel I can't give you 5 stars because of all the trouble this caused me. Most of this could have been avoided if your instructions had simply told me to put it over the assembled phone. You might want to correct your instructions on this.

I am careful and I followed the instructions carefully but the glass screen cover did not adhere properly and has a bubble about a third of the screen in size.

There was what looked like a bubble, small size, visible when I opened the product. After applying the protective screen, the top left of the screen was not adhering to the phone screen. Even with repeated attempts to remove any bubbles, the screen will not adhere. There seems to be a lack of the adhesive on the top of the protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Personal Preference Experienced some difficulty in aligning the screen protector and it is off slightly. Jig for alignment did not quite work as it should. The case is a little slick for my liking. I wish it had some rubber on the side to help with gripping. Overall I rank it less than full like because this case does not match the feel in my hands like that of my previous Otter Box case for my Samsung Note.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Installation Tools First, the device that is supposed to hold the phone and help center the screen is poorly designed, to say the least. It is quite difficult to get the side to side distancing correct. Secondly, there is an adhesive strip that is supposed to hold the glass while one aligns it and secures it to the screen. Mine was not stuck very welll and the protector fell off and enough dirt stuck to it that it is unusable. Even if Otterbox ends up sending me a replacement, it sounds like it will cost $10 in shipping cost. Not Gonna Happen. I will buy another brand first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shatters, overpriced This is my first time using otterbox where the whole phone was not encased by the otterbox. In the past I was very happy and had no complaints. Purchased this protective cover for the glass when I realized the case did not come with it/was just covering the back. I have the Apple protection plan via Apple. When I dropped my phone (in my car, not far or on concrete I thought the screen had cracked, and looked up the cost to repair the screen via Apple. It is $29. Then I realized just this protective film had shattered. The film cost me $59 to begin with, so now it would be another $59 to replace…which makes no sense to do since replacing the screen itself is only $29. I will not be purchasing the replacement.
