Decided to try the Pursuit this time mainly for the speaker design! Had it for a couple weeks now and it is fantastic. My only complaint is that in the thumbnail view, I thought the Merlin was black and gray. It is actually purple and light purple. Not my favorite for sure and wish I had picked the black/clear... The function of the case is great, though!

I really like the guide to align the screen protector; however, was not at all satisfied with how the protector applied to the screen. No matter how hard I tried it how long I like it sit I was unable to get the small bubbles out from under the screen. I went to see if I could return the item, but the order doesn't show up in my account even though I ordered it direct from Otterbox and when I manually put in my order number and selected the item it told me that it was no longer available and I needed to call. The wait time was like 20 minutes and I haven't had the chance to call back. The case is great and I'm sure the screen protector is nice but having air bubbles under the screen protector is unacceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After one day in use cracks everywhere The good news is the cracks are not in the glass, but the protective lens appears to be designed to shatter. The phone was previously protected using the leather case sold by apple. I upgraded to the new Defender Series which is now screen less? I purchased this for glass protection. The area around the notch near the top of the screen protector appears to have rubbed against something in my pocket. The result is spidering cracks from the notch area. In less than a week this "protector" is now a reminder that you get spider cracks WITH or WITHOUT it. At least I can peel this one off??

I get the phone last saturday and install the alpha glass sunday morning. Well by the end of the day, there was a small crack on the bottom of the glass. (My phone is also protected by a defender case). I honestly wonder why the defender case are screenless now...

At best, I imagine the glass attained a small chip on the table or in the cat; etc. , at worst, It seems a bit too feeble.

You can take it off but you cannot clean it. I had to buy another. Be scrupulous in applying it, a clear clean work surface, clean hands, sleeves rolled up. Once on it’s great, screen sensitivity is unaffected. Great product, just take care applying it.

It looks like a little dent in the adhesive or maybe some of the adhesive wasn’t applied in that small little spot. So besides that little spot that is annoying it’s a good quality glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like it but, had debris on edges out of the box I like the Alpha Glass. It fits much better on my iPhone X compared to the protector it replaced. Feels really nice to the touch, appears high quality, and works well with my phone. I am a little bit of a perfectionist so, I did a professional install that you won't get anywhere. Bathroom Install: Cleaned bathroom, mopped, dust, wiped everything down, Closed the bathroom door, turned on hot shower for 4 minutes, which allows all dust/lint to drop to the floor from moisture. Cleaned hands, dry on lint free cloth (pat dry, no rubbing). Turned on fan, to evacuate steam, then followed instructions. Everything went well except, when I got to the point of taking the Alpha Glass off of the grey manufacturing backing board, there was very tiny white plastic debris stuck between the edge of the back edge of the glass and the grey backing board. Tried using the supplied lint tape but, did not work. I got about 80% of the particles off, the remaining were soo small you couldn't see them until during installation. Right side edge and bottom pf screen have 2 small bubbles that won't go away and I cannot get them out due to some debris that appear to be stuck into the lamination during manufacturing. Haven't had this debris problem "out of the box" with any screen protector I have used in the past My suggestion is to fully inspect the glass out of the box, "GET A MAGNIFYING GLASS", don't install it until you are 100% sure there are no debris from manufacturing on the Alpha Glass or between the glass and manufacturing protective backing, and make 100% certain there are no debris/lint on your phone or you will get "BUBBLES". if it were not for the lint and debris problem, I would have gave 5 stars however, very disappointed to have purchased this and have a problem right out of the box. Luckily the bubbles are on the edge and bottom, otherwise, I would have sent it right back. Just waiting now to see if the bubbles grow with time and start peeling which I'm sure it will. Otherwise, I like the Alpha Glass, I do think the manufacturing plant needs to figure out how to do quality control inspections.

A week after putting the case on my phone, I dropped it (of course I did, I've got butter fingers). When I examined my phone, it was like nothing happened to it. The alpha glass is a must - you can barely tell it's there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Experience I’m not sure about the quality of the tempered glass but I had a terrible experience putting it on my iPhone. Firstly, it doesn’t fit the screen exactly. No matter how you try to put it on. Had I known about that or had OtterBox bothered to mention it somewhere, I wouldn’t have attempted to take it off and try putting it on again to make it fit perfectly. That just ruined it all. OtterBox makes good phone cases. Can’t say the same about there screen protectors. Waste of money. !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with one flaw I love that the Alpha Glass protects the screen of my iPhone XS without interfering at all with the touch features; it also has outstanding clarity unlike a stick-on film or clear plastic case insert. The flaw? The Alpha Glass covers most but not all of the screen, with a tiny gap around the edges of the Alpha Glass and the inside edge of my Defender Pro case. Not only does it look "unfinished" but bits of fuzz tend to stick to the edges of the Alpha Glass. I believe that the Alpha Glass and the Defender Pro case will keep my iPhone well protected, but I have to dock it one star due to this flaw.
