No Separate 2.4Ghz Network Causes Issues
The Orbi will auto-detect 2.4Ghz devices BUT some devices that require 2.4Ghz are auto-detected as 5Ghz devices. There is no method to setup an isolated 2.4Ghz network for devices requiring 2.4Ghz. Needed to purchase a separate router to handle some old 2.4Ghz devices . Sad because my old Motorola router supported both frequencies with separate networks

Amazing Upgrade
I upgraded from a nighthawk cable modem combo to an orbi WiFi 6 cable modem combo the speed is amazing and so is the signal, all to my driveway and up halfway to the road down my house and then it falls. That never happens with any system I’ve had. This was a great investment I am pleased with and I highly recommend.

Orbi Easy Setup
Orbi system works great. Setup was fairly easy and we were able to switch out the old system we had with Xfinity with no issues.
Had a bit of a glitch at first since we had already downloaded the Orbi app before we received the system. We just deleted the app, reinstalled it and everything went smoothly from there.
The Orbi works great! We are very pleased with this new system.

Works great after firmware update
Works great in a two story house. Am getting true gig speed. Bought it direct from Netgear. Wish it had shipped with the most recent firmware. It took a call to the help line to do the update because it couldn't jump straight to the newest edition. The help line was very knowledgeable and we got the update done right the first try.

With the new ORBI unit I have had flawless high speed internet once I got all my Apps linked back up. Some of them operate on 2.4 and others on 5G. You have to configure the ORBI to connect with both. But they all work perfectly.

Great product. Just be prepared for not an intuitive set up if you are moving from a previous cable modem into this one. I had to call their technical assistance 2 times. And after 60min set up was done and all working. Performance is great so far and I am getting the Max speed from my provider.

I moved to a new apartment a few months ago and ordered the Netgear AC1900 cable modem router, which completely stopped working after more than 4 devices were connected. Our apartment also has 0 service so we couldn’t get anything done if we weren’t connected to the wifi. We decided to order the Orbi and although we had a little trouble with the setup, we haven’t had any problems since! We don’t freeze during work calls anymore and the speed is excellent no matter where we are located in the apartment. Customer service also told us that the Orbi can accommodate over 250 devices so we definitely don’t have to worry about more devices slowing down the internet. Orbi will definitely be with us for a long time, we love it so much!

Easy installation, good range
I’ve been using it for a week now and found it very very easy to install. The wifi coverage is been great. I needed to restart it a couple times for lack of connectivity. Not sure if it was the equipment or my internet service, but overall very satisfied so far with my purchase. My house has 5k sqft and it had a lot of missing spots. Now I can access my wifi from anywhere.

I upgraded to use this Net Gear system to compatible with Comcast Cable network. The signal is super good and super fast. My house is so wide from left end to right end. This unit is in the middle of the house. I never have problem with my wireless printer that kept losing wireless signal when we used the previous router. My husband can work from home with no worry. Painful setup, works well after that.
Both NETGEAR and xfinity had to manually set these up. Spent 8-12 hrs getting it activated after getting a defective unit replaced. Also one of the buttons on the new satellite is stuck.
Works great now that it’s setup, but it’s the worst set up process I’ve experienced. The app does not work for set up as it is supposed to.

Whole home coverage
After finishing my basement and moving mom in I needed better wifi coverage. I tried a cheep booster that didn't work well or for very long. I then bought the Orbi 2 pack. Set-up was pretty easy and quick. I now have much better and reliable coverage for entire house. This is very important because we have poor cell service and rely on ii for that as well.

We were tired of slow internet and new we wanted to go up to 1Gb internet speeds. Our previous netgear docsis 3.0 modem/router wouldn’t work with the gigabyte plan. When upgrading to docsis 3.1, we knew we would regret if we didn’t buy a mesh possible modem/router. Before we even upgraded our plan to higher max speeds, we saw an improvement in our internet. It was easy to install and the instructions were well written to help any skill level get their modem set up and wifi networks up and running. 11/10 would recommend.

I had Fios gigabit connection at home and I was told by bestbuy agent that I will be able to use the Orbi Wi-Fi 6 however when I tried to remove my Verizon Fios router and install the Orbi, it didn’t work. I contacted netgear agent and the Verizon as the same time trying to figure out. I had three way call and still wasn’t able to install. The reason at the end was Orbi is not compatible with Verizon Fios connection. I spent so long trying to figure out and I was given many wrong answers during this time. I would recommend without researching yourself instead of sales folks.

Coverage seemed good hooked up to the xfinity 1.2GB cable. And seemed to cover the ~3K space. But have not had a chance to run it very, very hard. Did use the wifi for an HD Netflix movie a couple of rooms away and worked fine.

Solid Mesh System
I definitely recommend the Orbi cable modem mesh system for larger homes. The Wi-Fi 6 has the bandwidth to run numerous devices and the mesh allows the range. Glad I made the upgrade from the rental equipment.

Fixed WiFi connection for whole house. I also love the app the is supported with it! Gives feed back on what devices log on and helps stops threats. Also, it really helped with our self installed security system giving it the maximum speeds it needs to work to its full potential. We love it and would recommend highly!

Finally a Solution
I have tried numerous routers over the years spending more and more each time trying to cover a 1900 sq ft home and nothing came close to the Orbi. We now have a strong signal across the lot, all the cameras work, there hasn’t been a random drop out or slow down or area where the WiFi is weak. 10/10

No Brainer
This is truly an easy setup! The app is very intuitive and gives easy insight to all devices on your network. The coverage is better than expected, I use one satellite and my coverage extends to my neighbors. The added Armor security is a great add on that provides continuous security checks. I highly recommend this for the DIY type.

Extremely disappointed
I’ve had 3 Orbi 750. The first put out a weak 1 bar signal. Tech services said to return. The next 2 my cable company could not connect to but it did connect to the first one

Orbi with 2 Satellites
Wow amazing speed and coverage 60 devices with no devises dropping out or disconnects and very easy to connect and configure. Feel safe and secure now and I purchased Netgear Armor. It’s so easy to be able access the Netgear Orbi app and Orbi features and manage your network from anywhere. I have many Netgear products like ReadyNas and software and apps like Insight and Ready Cloud they all work with no issues and there support team is great.

Tried several expensive Wi-Fi 6 set ups - I have Wow, the first modem wouldn’t even connect (actually tried on two modems of the same type thinking the first was defective. The second one would drop signal constantly. Once I set this up and updated the modem, it worked like a charm and now have every inch of my home covered.

Would he 5 stars if the MAC number in my app actually matched my equipment - took me awhile to figure it out so I had to call Spectrum to change that out. Worth the headache coverage is great!

Orbi Mesh System
The Orbi Mesh system has increased my signal and downloading speeds for Roku, but I’m still having streaming issues with my SimpliSafe video doorbell. The Orbi is supposed to provide 5000 square feet of mesh coverage and my home is only 2400 square feet. Still looking for a solution.

2in1 easy fast set up
Its currently the one and only docsis 3.1 router modem combo that is using mesh technology for coax cable internet. no complaints! wide coverage house. i have no dead spots in my. i am able to get maximum internet speeds in my plan. currently have 1gig plan and getting around 988mbps give or take 50mbps on the speedtests all over my house.

After many years of cable modem rental and with a little research, decision was made to purchase this system, installation was a breeze I had this modem running in no time, best part it’s a combo,modem and wifi router in one, the design it’s wonderful, the mesh signal it’s strong and leaves no dead spots on my house squared footage, work as advertised, definitely recommend Netgear Orbi, worth the money, streaming into multiple devices no problem, very fast and simple installation, glad I did the change, great product.

Quality system
I just bought a house and needed a wireless solution. Thought I would spoil myself with some mesh wifi 6, and it wasn’t terrible to justify knowing it would pay itself off in 3.3 years compared to renting. The app took about 5 min to download and set up. Setting up the modem/router was simply plug and play and following directions on the app. The satellite connected in a few min and every thing seemed simple. Took about 20 min. It’s been a few weeks and all my wireless devices have had no issues. I have done multiple speed tests and all the devices are getting the speed I’m paying for. I am a happy customer.

I would recommend the system to others overall. I am not a tech guy so allowing the ORBI unit to recognize my sump pump WI-FI outlet was a small challenge made easier by Netgear tech support. The security of the outlet was using weak encryption so needed to attach this outlet to my Guest network. All is good now and running smoothly. Range of WI-FI is great and the amount of devices you can connect is adequate for my uses currently.

The wifi signal speed is good, yet the smart tv loses its wifi connection with an Orbi satellite while it’s right next to it and not too far from the main unit/modem (which is upstairs, about 25 feet away

Far more than expected.
At first I only wanted to replace my old router with an Orbi RBR750. When I did, my internet speed jumped 300% and the wi-fi range improved greatly. Then I chose to upgrade a 3.0 modem with an all-in-one router modem combo, the Orbi CBR750 . When I did, my internet speed jumped again by 260%. On top of that my wi-fi range increased greatly. Rough start
It was a little difficult to setup. My ISP did their part with no issues but I still have no connectivity. I called Netgear tech support to resolve the issue. First support rep was terrible. Frustrated me to the point that I hung up. His English was difficult to understand. The second rep was very thorough and was able to get me connected.
The single is much stronger than my previous system. Much better range. I’m very pleased so far.

Great modem/router combo
I bought this because Xfinity said my current router/modem was not compatible with my plan. After reading some reviews, it sounded like I might have a bit of a hard time connecting it. Surprisingly, it only took about 20 minutes to get it set up. So far it only turned off on its own once but has been working well. I believe that the internet connection is better upstairs because of the satellite.

Ease of Use
I have been a user of Netgear products for a long time. I always choose to purchase my own modem instead of the rental fees from the internet providers in the area. Netgear has always been an easy setup and even easier platform to use. This is no different with the Orbi Mesh system. Since my install, my upload and download speeds are insane. The app is great, I consider myself a techy and I just love the ease of use. I couldn't be happier with my continued relationship with Netgear. Nothing is more important than security of my home network and I have trusted Netgear from the beginning and true to form they have rewarded me with a system that has an ease of use and reliable.

The reviews say it’s a good product. The product exceeds the reviews. I’ve being using it for a week now and I’m blown away. Setup was bumpy - excellent product once its running
I required help from Comcast support to get my modem to activate. Then my satellite would not sync so I also ended up calling Netgear support as well. The sync issue was due to a firmware mismatch between the modem and satellite. The Netgear tech was excellent and stuck with me until the issue was resolved. Blazing fast speed throughout my house once the setup was complete.

Upgraded to the Orbi because our internet provider (Xfinity) recommended it for faster, better internet. I ran a test before we changed and it said our download speeds were 35mbps (with Aris surfboard) and then ran a test after installing Orbi and it shows 300 mbps speeds. However we notice NO difference on our devices.

Great Modem
Before we upgraded to this model we struggled with multiple devices online in our house and our TV constantly was buffering. Since upgrading to this modem, we can now all watch TV and also be on devices without any interruptions -- without upgrading our internet!

Speed is good and setup was easy. Took off one star becuase a firmware update on the modem broke the satellite - had to go on tech support for an hour before they had me push reset button that fixed it. Took off another star because there are no firewall settings. Does it have a firewall? Don't know but they want you to pay for some kind of security service.

My previous router/modem was also a Netgear product. However, it kept randomly rebooting itself at the most in opportune times. The Orbi combo has been a consistently reliable source for connectivity across multiple devices. The speed is fantastic and the security makes it a solid device for a protected environment. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

The Orbi System is outstanding.
I replaced my previous Netgear modem router with the Orbi because it wasn’t working well in my home and it was the best decision I could have made. There are no longer any weak internet signal areas in my house. I have Spectrum and multiple Roku sticks throughout the house and they are all working well now.

Finally chose a new unit!
I have been needing a new combo wifi/router unit for awhile. I ket doing research and everything out there is so confusing. One site calls 1 item great then another site called it bad! Reviews from buyers were similar. I finally chose this Orbi and we have all seen a difference in our service and internet pages/gaming and are very happy! We have had for a few weeks so I cant say anything on its durability or customer service buuut our previous Netgear combo was pretty great and we never had any issies with it. Only changed it because our internet provider made changes and our combo unit didnt support it. Only negative so far is that it is big and bright lights in my bedroom! Im still very pleased with it.

Could have been great...
The primary unit functions properly, but the satellite is useless. The satellite will only function if it has a line of sight to the primary unit. I'm not willing to run 50-60' of cable across the floor so that it will function properly. I have updated the firmware and reset the system multiple times, and it just will not work properly. It's a single-story 1,200 sq/ft home. We have a signal throughout the house, but it's weak in a couple of the rooms, and sometimes the signal will drop out in those rooms. If you have an old house with thick walls that are well-insulated, be prepared to run cables to the satellite units.

Great mesh system
I waited for a long while before I upgraded my home internet system. I wanted to do as much research and fact finding about the different ones offered. I finally picked finally picked the NETGEAR Orbi WiFi 6 system (CBK752) (DOCSIS 3.1) (AX4200) with 1 satellite.
So far I couldn’t be happier! The only thing that really isn’t fun would be finding out how to identify what and were the devices are. Some already have a brief description in the app, but not all of them. Hopefully in time the will have a better description. If not, that’s ok too. It just takes a little longer to identify what device is where.
I would recommend this set up to anyone with a little technical understanding. If you don’t have a clue and you still want this system. Do as much research on it as possible. For example, you can Google and YouTube it. That’s how it found out a lot of information and videos. Do quit reading and go research or buy this system. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Upgraded my cable providers Modem and router to the Orbi and made improvements to coverage and speeds. I was getting less than 300mbps with the old modem and would need to reset it often to maintain speed. Now I get between 325 to 370mbps on my 300mbps plan. It was easy to hook up. I did need to use customer support I couldn’t finish the set up connection error. After the usual troubleshooting they asked me to plug it into a different outlet and it was able to complete setup. I had it on an old power strip plugging it direct to the wall. The app makes it easy to monitor your network.

System is working correctly. It was an easy set up on the Net Gear side but a bit of an issue with Cox internet. I am pleased with the new speeds. I teach real estate continuing education on Zoom and the new equipment has been maintained an extremely stable connection with Cox.

Great Range
I've had issues in the past with getting a consistent Wi-Fi signal throughout my house. I initially placed the satellite on the far end of the house, expecting to move it closer after the signal failed. Imagine my surprise when the satellite hooked up within minutes. This allows me to extend my Wi-Fi signal to my back yard, not to mention a spotty signal when I go across the street.
It's a little concerning that there is no confirmation light indicating everything is working properly, but, I can live with that. The light seems unnecessary since it is so reliable.

Initial set up was great and then the satellite disconnected. I have been with NETGEAR support for 2 days and have not resolved the issue. I have a netgear support team contract for 2 years and I am disappointed in the help that has been provided.

Excellent range and easy setup
I have a two story house and a detached guest house. There were lots of wifi dead spots with my old single station router. I bought the Orbi with a single satellite and it works great. The satellite covers all downstairs and out around my pool, and the base unit covers upstairs and out past the guest house to the security cams at the road 120 feet away. The built-in cable modem option saved me a couple of hundred bucks. I used the Orbi app for setup, but it would have been just as easy to set up manually. I had to reboot the Orbi a couple of times at setup, but no problems since. Highly recommended.

Internet speeds at my house are remarkably faster with the Orbi. I notice it particularly when I'm uploading or downloading files. Setup was a hassle - the app didn't work right and I had to call in for support - but afterwards, the system has been great.

I have an older brick with thick plaster and brick walls . I used to use a Nighthawk and was unable to have good access in different parts of home. I now have great signal and 580 MBPS throughout entire home.

Great coverage at wifi6 speed
This netgear orbi mesh combo/router setup is great when used with the satellite which comes with it. At first the satellite was having hard time connecting to the router, but after some troubleshooting with netgear support it got connected which needed firmware upgrade. So far, no issues and range is been extended with fast download/upload speeds as per provider specs. Hope no issues in future and hardware keeps up without fail.

Easy set-up!
I honestly was a little leery purchasing his because I had seen other reviews listing the headaches they had in getting it activated, but the opposite was true in my experience. The Orbit app guided me through what needed to be done, and since Xfinity is my provider, the bulk of the activation was done in their app. Speeds jumped from about 72mbps to well over 400 instantly.

I work from home and have 6 different devising running with no sweat. Husband said instructions were poor so I called customer service and received immediate help. After we were all set up I looked at the instructions and determined that men do not read instructions ever and the instructions were just fine. Ladies, please help your husbands set this up :)

The router is extremely fast and I can tell my devices load faster however, you need a good internet provider to take advantage of it! As well, no more hiccups in speed when people come over. Highly recommend if you are trying to future proof yourself right now and want a good product

Resolved Our Signal Strength Issues
We had been struggling for a while to get good signals throughout our house…battling the wheel of death and delay while streaming, etc. We installed our Orbi system a couple of weeks ago and it has been wonderful. The system was easy to set up and customer technical support was great when I had questions.

All Ethernet ports work, but, only one device will connect out of four. Ports work, plug same device in all four. I have two other devices ( fire cube and pc) that will not connect via Ethernet.

For anyone that is on the fence with this router and modum combo. Just cave, spend the money and get it. I have a 2,000 sq foot house with a basement and every inch of my house is extreme speed wifi connection. We have 20 devices at a minimum. Smart phones. Ps4s. Xbox 1s. Smart tvs. You name it we got it and this handles it with ease. 4K content is beautiful. If I could give 6 stars I would. GET IT!!!!

Modem and router works fine, it extends the range in my house by 4 or 5 feet. The speed in the basement is better than before. Installation took 3 hours, calls to cable company and to Netgear. The feature of using the old network name and password works great.

Just replaced by Spectrum standard modem/router with a NETGEAR Orbi 3.1 Mesh Modem/Router. The install was easy and the performance worth the money! I am getting great coverage in the house and on the decks while maximizing internet speeds. Also like the App which makes remote management easy.

Previously tried another mesh wifi system (Arris Surfboard) which was terrible was never able to set it up after spending several days over the span of several weeks with their tech support. Decided to spend a few extra dollars to get the Orbi Mesh Wifi system, which is hands-down the BEST wifi investment you can make. You get what you pay for! It is incredibly easy and intuitive to set up, took me <10 minutes, it has lightning fast speed (faster than what we are paying our provider for) in all areas of my home as well as in yard at equal speeds, it looks great, AND it is exactly what you envision when you think of a modem/router integrated satellite router all making up one seamless mesh wifi system. Other companies (such as Arris) will make you buy a separate modem or modem/router which is NOT actually compatible with the mesh wifi and you have to disable the router function of the modem/router you spend a ton of money on. This is the Apple of mesh wifi and is THE system to buy!

What a difference!
Upgraded from the nighthawk modem and nighthawk router setup. Some update caused the router to just continuously skip connections and cause disconnects. With the orbi system I haven't had any disconnects. I've also never had wifi reach the end of my road. My driveway ties in to a semi main road and I don't lose my signal til then. Made me up my security a bit more to be safe! All in all I've recommended this system to every single pre wire I've done and to anyone I know wanting improved internet and wifi at a reasonable price tag. With the orbi system I've future proofed my connection for years to come. And I thank best buy for carrying it and Netgear for providing the product! ??

Setup was relatively easy. 3 firmware updates right away. My myQ garage door opener doesn’t seem to want to hook still working on that one. Very fast, but seems to have disconnect issue every once in a while. Never had that with my Xfinity router I e had a little over a week now

Our ORBI arrived quite quickly after we ordered it, and was a breeze to set up using the ORBI app. The only minor annoyance was registering it with Xfinity, but using their app I could do that in about 10 minutes. After that we have had blazing fast full hours coverage in our three floor townhome!

Orbi Mesh Works Well
Set up was easy using the Orbi app. The hardest step was holding for 1 hour, 45 minutes on a call with my ISP Breezeline cable to get the modem synched with their network. Very robust WiFi coverage throughout the house with one Orbi satellite and the app and experience show max upload and download speeds. Pricey but seemingly value for money so far.

Problems
Already about to be on my second Mesh System, only have had it for 37 days and major issues and concerns with the connections, not having any internet for hours modem/router not communicating etc. and again it’s only been 37 days. Troubleshooting has been done countless times with no success. Maybe for most people $550.00 isn’t a lot to spend on a home internet/WiFi system, but to me that’s heavy. And for it to do this within only 37 days, wow. Customer service is subpar, tech department having me wait for a possible call within two hours for a possible replacement or “something else” the chat is the reason why I called the tech because she said I needed to downgrade, which makes no sense. Now customer service saying they can do a return but guess what not and exchange and I will have to buy it again and then wait on my refund once they receive my return.
BS, somewhere in this I swear it feels like I’m the one losing. Higher price doesn’t necessarily mean higher quality.
Jeeez, I guess we will have to see what happens with the second one.

Nice combination cable modem and router.
My only real complaints would be the lack of a web interface or app for the Macintosh - not all of us want to set these up on a cell phone or iPad - and the less than stellar setup and signup for the security subscription.
The iOS app also needs work compared to what I had with my eero app.

This did not work as advertised. Parental controls could not be installed and mesh was consistently dropping connections. Unless you have a lot of time and patience (even then I am not sure it would work as advertised - I cannot recommend

So far works great. Very user friendly and excellent wifi range. I am a tech guy with lots of IoT, servers, and computers. Two story house And had no issue with wifi coverage. In fact I can go way down the street before I start to loose my wifi. Only problem is the price. It is a little expensive but I am hoping that this will be something I won’t have to upgrade for a while.

Best performance ever achieved on a modem/router combo than EVER before. Would’ve given 5 stars, but I’ve had to reset twice so far (I’ve only had it 5 days, and was required to go thru the quick setup and registration twice as well upon reset. So that was weird/unusual. Everything else has been perfect. There are so many variables with internet, hard to pinpoint cause of exact problem sometimes. The Orbi is as Good As It Is Gets!

Do not trust the good reviews, I made that mistake. I thought the bad ones were people not knowing how to use this. I had upgraded to this from a previous model Orbi (which worked fine but I thought newer is better. This unit does work fine for a few days and then my Wifi is constantly connecting and disconnecting throughout the day. I have had to reboot these multiple times to even get my Wifi back working again. They are horrible and a waste of money! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We recently upgraded to Orbi due to both my wife and I working remotely. Our wifi was spotty and weak on the side of the house that my wife works in, even after adding a wifi extender on that side of the house! Since upgrading to Orbi a week ago, we have had no issues and, with the satellite on her desk, she has much faster connectivity to all of her applications and no more dropped phone calls!

Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to manage devices from and easy to allow guest access. I love the satellite integration, much better than most mesh systems. The speed is excellent, you know when your household gamer asks “how’d you make the internet speed so fast” you have nailed it! Great job Netgear.

I fought with Mediacom for three weeks to fix my internet. They boosted my service to 1GB and speed tests still read 400mb at best using their Ubee rented modem/routers. Once I bought and installed the Orbi modem/router and satellite, my speeds not only jumped to 1.1GB but have been consistent for a month! I burned through 2 Ubee modem/routers in 2 weeks and finally told Mediacom to get rid of them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Netgear!

The setup was more complicated than it should have been. Had to start at a browser then the app worked. I have had to reboot once already within the first 30 days so that's a little concerning. Speeds are really good once its setup just concerned about longevity

Orbi system works great! No dropped signals and Home Pods don’t drop out any longer.
(I had also purchased and attempted to add an outdoor satellite but could not get it to connect. After spending hours dealing with it I gave up and returned it.

Life changing
For years it has been a struggle to get Wi-Fi in all areas of my home. Xfinity promised it could, they didn’t. I recently installed a Netgear Orbi with two satellites. So easy to install, I was sure I’d missed something, nope. It’s a beautiful thing to have coverage and self management so simply achieved. I don’t know why I waited so long!

Had trouble getting Wi-Fi signal downstairs since my modem was located upstairs in my office . Orbi not only took care of the signal gap but it got me closer to the speeds I was paying with Xfinity . 989 download with 27 upload !!!!

Reset is required every four days or so. 900mbts drops to .1mbts and power has to be unplugged and plugged back in. So programs will run.

Nice upgrade
Easy to set up once I figured figured out that you need to get the MAC address of the router, then enter into your Spectrum account web interface. The modem/router works great otherwise as far as speed- best I have had so far. It is also easy to navigate user interface of router/add ip reservations, see attached devices on the LAN etc.

Great wifi coverage
I installed the Orbi 750 modem/router with satellite in my home. I have Xfinity internet service, and used their 2-in-1 device at first. I have a 2 story house, 1900 sq ft, and reception downstairs was spotty with Xfinity system. The Orbi router is upstairs, added Orbi satellite downstairs and signal is now strong throughout. Download speed is also improved. I definitely recommend for 2 -story home configurations.

The speed at the modem is very good, but the satellites via backhaul aren't as good as hoped. Very cumbersome to set up and update satellite firmware, but once set up it seems to be stable.

I honestly was a little leery purchasing his because I had seen other reviews listing the headaches they had in getting it activated, but the opposite was true in my experience. The Orbi app guided me through what needed to be done, and since Xfinity is my provider, the bulk of the activation was done in their app. Speeds jumped from about 72mbps to well over 400 instantly.

Awesome...no buffering!
I can finally watch a baseball game or a film without the annoying buffering pauses, no matter how many other devices are running at the same time. With so many home devices now connected to the home network, solid connections are now so important, and this system fixed a world of problems. The setup was a breeze and everything works flawlessly.

Cable Modem Meshes with Easy to Use
My ISP recently upgraded their service in my area. I was already an Orbi user, but needed to upgrade to take advantage of higher speeds. The new DOCSIS 3.1 support unleashed higher download and upload speeds, with the same ease of use that Netgear Orbi is known for. Highly Recommended.

Poor satellite performance, terrible support
The router works well but the satellite does not. Data speeds drop off rapidly from it within 20 feet. Amazon Echo Dot (3rd generation) will not connect to the satellite. Windows laptop can connect, but the connection isn’t stable and drops in and out. Netgear support are terrible - the chat function in the app randomly disconnects you. All the steps they’ve given to resolve the situation have only seemed to further worsen the performance of the satellite, and have not resolved the connection issues. I definitely would not recommend this system - it doesn’t work well, and for the price paid for it, the level of support is terrible.

I’m very satisfied with my NetGear Mesh Modem/Router 1 satellite. It was easy to setup with the iPhone App and gives me great signal strength throughout my house and back patio area! I’m not sure about the Bitdefender add on for my devices though, there are a lot of bad reviews.

Completely covers house with no dead spots. About 35 devices (6 of those constantly streaming with no slow down to speeds, no slow or interrupted streams. Spectrum internet 400mbps, last speed test through Orbi showed download speed 463.

Pricey, but worth it
Because I was getting so many electronic devices that needed wifi (so far, 20 and I wanted to stop renting a modem/router from my cable company, I got the CBK 752. Many of the other mesh wifi systems only came with satellites- I still had to hook it up to my existing modem/router. The set up was easy once I decided to ignore the quick start guide and just use the app- it walked me through everything step-by-step. (Gotta install the app before unplugging the old modem/router). The design is beautiful- I wanted something that wasn’t a boring old box but something that didn’t look like a black fighter jet either. It fixed the dead spot in my bedroom- now I get equally fast speeds as the rest of the house. I haven’t explored all the features it comes with but I like the extra layer of wifi protection. So far, I’m happy with the purchase.

I am using an Orbi cable modem with one satellite in my two story 2600 sq ft house on 2/3 acre of land. The signal is very strong. We have no problem with connection to wireless cameras installed at the edges of our property. We previously used a Nighthawk router plus Eeros. The Orbi is giving us much better signal than our previous setup.

Simple, Blazing Fast, Secure
This was by far the easiest WiFi upgrade I’ve done. Plug it in, install the app, activate, and surf. Doesn’t get any easier than that! We purchased the Orbi with Docsis 3.1 because I don’t rent gear, was upgrading from Spectrum 400mbs to 1gbs (Docsis 3.0 says it supports over 1gbs but it didn’t, maxed out around 700mbs and wanted to take advantage of the WiFi 6 capabilities my new Apple devices support. Already see an improvement in battery life as promised. The icing on the cake is I don’t even have to hide it. It looks fantastic and blends right in. 100% wife approved!

Removed Comcast/xfinity equipment and replaced it with the CBR750. Not only are the speeds higher than the service we are subscribed to but there hasn’t been any drop in performance! Easy to install and love the clean lines. Finally a good looking piece of tech equipment. The app is great - easy to use and control permissions. We also purchased Armor and are very happy with its active blocks so far.

The network speed and strength are great, but I was already forced to reset the entire thing within a few hours because I was unable to access the Orbi App. Researching online shows this is not uncommon. Even after resetting, the app only worked for 15 mins or so following. When I attempted to check a few hours later, it once again stated that it couldn’t find my network and recommended I create a new network. If this continues, I will be forced to return the product. Also, why make claims that buying a modem/router will save so much money against renting from your ISP when you charge extra for security features that are included with rental equipment?

Have 25" inch double block concrete wall and multiple 12" walls. 3,500 Sq Ft house. WiFi signal was a problem. This solved the problem. Now no more problem. Thanks NETGEAR.

I was very happy the first few days of buying Orbi but found out in just about 2 weeks that it slows down when you have barely 8 devices connected.It’s sad as I paid over $400 for this.It’s like it can no handle most of today’s electronics and overheats and slows down.I will be returning and just sticking with a Nighthawk modem and independent router.

I upgraded my out of date cable and separate router for my home office to the Netgear Orbi and am very pleased. The upgrade was excellent and very easy, the app makes the install process quick and I did have to call my ISP to register the new cable modem router combo but after that I was right back online. I give this 5 stars because the internet and wifi connection are great with very good range, no more slow internet or getting booted from websites and install was easy using the app by following the steps.

After adding in quite a few smart home devices along with the normal amount of phones, tablets and computers we knew it was time to upgrade our wi-fi. It took multiple attempts to set up and activate with Cox, which was somewhat frustrating. However, once everything was ready, the coverage and speed has been outstanding (1 router and 2 satellites. Pretty impressed with performance for a three level house.

I returned the panoramic wifi equipment to cox and purchased this. The cox equipment had nothing but problem, from low speed to disconnections. This unit is a lot better we actually have the speed we pay for and no disconnection so far. Would definitely recommend.

Easy replacement of provider equipment
The app walked through the setup pretty quickly for the modem / router including providing relevant information and the number of my service provider to help get the equipment swapped. So far the coverage is an easy improvement and the wireless performance is good with all my smart home stuff joined to it.

This is a game changer.
Replaced the traditional Modem/Router wi-fi with extenders. Wi-fi was always a little spotty and hard to handle a household of 5 people and all the wireless devices. Upgraded from the CBK40 mesh to the CBK752 and the speed is absolutely amazing! I have had a problem however, loss of interest connection three times. Worked with the service provider to ensure it wasn’t on their end now I will attempt to get Netgear tech support to see if we can iron out this wrinkle. We solve this problem and we go to five stars. Finally this WIFI6 is handling 43 devices without a hitch!

I am truly impressed with the quality and performance of this mesh system!! I was skeptical about good coverage going from a two antenna system to a one antenna setup. To my surprise, this setup not only gave me way better coverage, but also much better speed and performance!! I almost purchased another antenna before I had this system setup. We'll, glad I didn't because it was not needed!! I almost upgraded to the AX6000, but I don't see the point right now!!

This router with built in modem is really great. I like that 2 devices are built in to one and the wifi is really fast. Seamless coverage going from inside to outside. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the set up. It took me 4 hours in total. After issues setting up and calling my internet provider then having to call Netgear who ultimately took me through many more steps not included in the instructions before it finally worked. Good customer service but the set up was an investment of time and test of my patience.

Ever since we switched from regular spectrum router and modem to the Orbi we have had no problems what so ever and excellent performance and faster internet. No complaints running extremely well especially in thunder storms. Our old internet would lag and buffer constantly and now we have had a lag or buffer since. We have multiple gaming consoles and smart TVs as well as our phones and computers on the wifi and still no slow or lag. Works excellent. Definetly recommend!

Great modem router
I changed from an advanced Asus product that was wifi5 enabled. While it was a good product I wanted something better and would have better range as I have devices that are further away and would not get good bandwidth. With this mesh router (one satellite setup I am able to have fast speeds (I have Gig internet through provider) throughout the house. This was worth the upgrade.

I was having spotty coverage and lackluster speeds with my old router. Moving to the CBK system not only allow me to eliminate a power cable (by combining router/modem, but has provided me with lighting fast connections, simple set up, coverage in every inch of my house, and I can even stream in my detached garage that is about 150ft away from my home. Adding new devices is easy straightforward and the network security tools are awesome. Very happy and very much worth it.

For years we have had internet issues in our house, basically little to no internet upstairs. Then recently we changed our modem and router and it got really bad downstairs too, so I started to research ways to solve our issues and decided to try Orbi’s router and modem plus satellite and boy I wish we had done this sooner. Our internet is so fast in all areas of the house, we no longer get dropped from meetings or feel like we are on dial up!! Lol The system set up so easy, probably took less then ten mins. If your having issues buy the Orbi system you won’t be sorry.

This product makes Xfinity internet service tolerable. Great speed and coverage. However, there are no parental controls. Given the price of this product, it should have the basic features of lower priced products. I’ve contacted support more than once. I get vague assurances that parental controls are coming. Three months now - nothing yet.

No parental controls — No Circle
The WiFi speed and coverage are fine, which is really what matters. But the marketing materials on the website and on Amazon are misleading. Circle does NOT work with this router nor are there any other meaningful parental controls. I was disappointed to find out this was not the case, and there’s no indication from Netgear that it’s changing anytime soon. There’s a good chance I will be returning and going with an Eero system.

First off, let me say how skeptical I was about what the true performance of this cable modem/router 1 satellite setup would be. The reviews I read just seemed too good to be true. And my townhome has 3 levels throughout which to spread the wifi magic, a challenge for which my Arris Surfboard was just unable to meet. The further I got away from the router, the download speeds would drop drastically, making it difficult for my wife to work in the office and making me wonder why we were paying for all this promised speed. I tried plug-in extenders which improved things somewhat, but the long distances and numbers of walls/doors/stairs and other obstacles to my 5 GHz signal just seemed insurmountable. That is, until I got the Orbi! The cable modem / router is where the Arris lived previously on the first level, and the satellite is on the third level. My download speeds up there are nearly as good as they are next to the router, and better yet, I’m getting slightly in excess of the speed I’m paying for! What a game changer! It’s been stable, no dropped connections, and the app is fantastic. It saved us from having to open walls to run Ethernet around the house. I’m really satisfied, and at least in this instance, I got what I paid for!

What they do not tell you.
This product sounds wonderful. But they don't tell you there is no coaxial input, which is how internet comes into most homes. I tried to register the product, since they promise free technical help for 3 months, but that proved impossible. There telephone conveniently uses the Covid excuse. There e-mail customerservice gives you case number, but nothing back after several days.

I have a 3000 sq. ft. house (3 levels and the router and 1 satellite give me blazing speeds in every corner of the house and it in the yard. Pricey, but I can’t complain given the performance.

The Orbi WiFi / Modem is a good performer. The set up is fairly easy but be sure to read the instructions and collect all of the pertinent information. Be aware that the cable input is a coax cable. Overall, this is a good unit and it is nice to have the modem and WiFi unit all in one. Be sure to have a safe and stable place to mount or set up the unit. There are plenty of ieee input interfaces and this is important. However, with most home based electronic systems that are WiFi based / compatible this is really not an issue. There tends to be some latency (internet connection) from time to time but this may attributable to the ISP vs the Orbi unit itself. Highly recommended -- a good value for the money...cost / performance ratio is very high.

Super Modem!
I call it Super Modem because it’s faster than a speeding bullet and able to leap long distance!
We bought the Orbi with Satellite because we thought our old one had given up the ghost. When I installed it, it was RAPID! Speeds really did seem to be faster than that bullet. It ran circles around the old one. The satellite was a determining factor. It provides Wi-Fi/internet to my ham shack in the back yard. It has been fabulous.
The Orbi system helped us find why our internet was so slow and in and out of service. After initial speeds we had issues that were on the company’s side. We got a tech out and he cleaned up the problems. Since then our speeds have been fast, Superman fast!!
We love our Orbi!!

Netgear Orbi AX4200
It did not work out of the box, it took approximately a 90 minute call with tech support to get the router modem communicating with my ISP (and the issue was not with the ISP). The Netgear tech support technician was patient, polite, professional and persistent in resolving the modem-router start up and activation with my ISP. My thanks to him!! As for the router, I’m still working to optimize the network. The Orbi App and Netgear Windows based software is not as flexible and limited in network optimization features compared to other router software Apps I’ve used to truly optimize the network devices and network bandwidth/channels. I am forced to use other tools for WiFi signal interference and strength measurement in each room in order to get the best optimization for this Orbi system with two satellites. My technical review of this router performance is still 50-50 until it is completely optimized and all devices are working at their best signal performance.

Orbi Mesh WIFI System
purchased with one satellite since I have two story home...no more issues with home internet. I also work from home and probably push 30-40 devices with no issues. I had an old Nighthawk w/ extender that just wasn't enough for what I use. Only thing I didn't like was the setup instructions, wasn't as easy and flawless at all. Very happy with my new setup by far!!

Switching from Nighthawk to Orbi
The transition to Orbi as both modem and router was a simple process. The cable company made the compatibility seamless. The network is just as fast and reliable as it was with the Nighthawk I owned, but greater in range.

Very easy to set up. Make sure to activate your modem and download the netgear orbi app. Very quick to set up and eliminated dead zones. Not only eliminated dead zones, I have strong signal everywhere and even with WiFi 5 (ac not WiFi 6 (ax) devices the signal is top notch.

Just replaced my tp link M5 with this setup. Not only did my coverage improve from upstairs to downstairs, but am finally getting the speeds I am paying for with my ISP. I didn’t realize my equipment was what was holding me back. I pay for 150, could never get over 100 with my old setup, and now I am consistently over 165.

This is a game changer.
Replaced the traditional Modem/Router wi-fi with extenders. Wi-fi was always a little spotty and hard to handle a household of 5 people and all the wireless devices. As soon I hooked up the Netgear Mesh system, we could see a HUGE difference in speed and connectivity. This is a total game changer and highly recommend.

Easy set up - quality product
So far so good! This was bought to replace an aging DocSYS 3.0 router that was causing connection issues with a few machines on my network. After a failed attempt to provision my internet provider's standard WiFi Gateway I decided to purchase the Orbi instead. Total install time was about 30 minutes (this includes contacting my provider and provisioning the device on their network and the machines that were giving me issues are running great.

Easy installation with our RCN service. Getting higher speeds and better coverage than with the old rental modem. Had a minor hiccup with a Wi-Fi enabled Brother printer, but after reaching out to the manufacturer, it was solved by resetting the network card in the printer. Beyond that, 19 other devices in our home logged on seamlessly and automatically and are all working smoothly. The Orbi app is a charm, the device itself is attractive and functional. We wanted to prepare for the future with this unit, and feel good about the choice.

Replaced xfinity modem/router and now don’t have to pay the monthly fees. Probably way more powerful than our 1800sq ft house needs, but every inch of our house has reliable super fast internet. I bought the product to replace my cable box from Xfinity. After 5mins of unboxing and plugging in the modem it connected. I have never seen an easier product for both wired and WiFi connect and find all my devices. The app is a breeze. If you have ever tried to replace your network device and have family waiting on you to finish so everyone can get back to watching TV or playing games it can be some pressure to get it going. Well Orbi was the fastest and most efficient network and satellite devices I have ever setup. I would highly recommend the product as the coolest looking and easiest to setup.

We’re in a 3 level condo with tons of dead zones. The Netgear Orbi WiFi DOCSIS3.1 mesh WiFi system with built in modem and separate satellite now covers our whole condo with blazing speed and no drops like we had with our extenders and powerline adapters. Worth every penny.

Have had coverage issues with the rented Comcast gateway for quite some time. Decided to upgrade and is very happy with the result. Great coverage, signal strength and speed. Have a 200 MB service and now get close to that in all rooms, what a difference. Setup required talking and chatting to the comcast automated phone line, so it took about an hour to set it up. Not complicated, but time consuming due to Xfinity issues.

I struggled with the cost of the unit, but decided to take a risk to see if it lives up to the hype. IT DOES! Really future proof for the foreseeable future for at home use. Working from home it is important to have a stable wide coverage network. Also deep into a smart home setup I have nearly 100 devices connected. Some outside devices were too far for my xfinity router Wi-Fi to reach. When I replaced their equipment with this, everything is connected seamlessly without issue.

What a difference!
We finally decided it was time to ditch the cable company’s rented router. I remembered the Orbi being highly recommended to me by a manager at my local Best Buy some time ago. The Orbi was the perfect purchase for my home. It allows for expansion with the mesh WiFi to cover any signal loss within my home and has the data rate for my wife to run her business off of. The added adjustable firewall makes it easy to see and permit what I want to not be block yet still keep our home network very safe. The set up was so easy that anyone that is not even tech savvy could do it.

Seamless Setup and Working Like A Dream
My partner and I recently moved into our first home and with that came many challenges including having only a single coax connection in the entire unit. We were previously using an older modem/router combo that was honestly doing fine for the main floor, however the upstairs rooms were incredibly spotty and made gaming or even light phone browsing impossible. After some intensive research I found this product and was encouraged to see another modem/router combo (we like to keep things clean and minimal as part of a wifi 6 mesh system. It was exactly what we were looking for! A couple days later it arrived and the setup was seamless following the app instructions. We now have a stronger and more consistent signal across the entire home and the app allows me greater insight and control over our network. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase!

Because I was getting so many electronic devices that needed wifi (so far, 20) and I wanted to stop renting a modem/router from my cable company, I got the CBK 752. Many of the other mesh wifi systems only came with satellites- I still had to hook it up to my existing modem/router. The set up was easy once I decided to ignore the quick start guide and just use the app- it walked me through everything step-by-step. (Gotta install the app before unplugging the old modem/router). The design is beautiful- I wanted something that wasn’t a boring old box but something that didn’t look like a black fighter jet either. It fixed the dead spot in my bedroom- now I get equally fast speeds as the rest of the house. I haven’t explored all the features it comes with but I like the extra layer of wifi protection. So far, I’m happy with the purchase.

I expect a lot from NetGear
And for the most part they delivered. The Orbi is a great choice for a whole home solution but a few things to keep in mind. If setting up smart home devices, some play nicer then others. Setting up most of my Nest items went flawless except the Yale lock. Also, it would be nice if in the app you had more control over the streams. Allow me to create a 2.4ghz network just for my Smart Home devices. Overall I have had no issues with the internet or wifi speeds. I pay for 1GB speed and almost anywhere in my 2 floor house I average 675-750MB on wifi. Great investment and it will be able to handle higher speed as cable companies increase their offerings.

Spectacular Product!
I recently decided to switch from Verizon FIOS to Xfinity as my Internet provider. My neighbor, who is a network manager, advised me to get the Orbi. At first I was hesitant because there are lots of less expensive alternatives available, but I ultimately decided to take his advice. I am so glad I did! Installation via the app was a breeze. I have a dozen devices on my network and all work perfectly. Best of all, even though the Xfinity connection is slower than FIOS was I’m getting fasted speeds from all my devices. Finally, I love having an Ethernet connection from the satellite to my Samsung TV. The TV always had a problem reconnecting to WiFi, and now I no longer have to worry about that either. Can’t say enough about what a great product this is!

Exactly what you should expect. Easy setup via ethernet to laptop. Just a few steps after a phone call to my service provider and I was up and running. I have 12 devices connected over WiFi continuously and still see over 480Mbps down. Super pleased and will recommend to all my friends.

Just installed and activated with Xfinity on 2023-01-02. I took a while to get it activated with Xfinity, not sure why. After it was activated, the transfer from my old cable modem and router was pretty seamless. Now I was able to use the much higher download speed, either thru ethernet and wifi 6. Also the netgear orbi app was very helpful to set up the satellite and continue to monitor what are being connected. Set up a guest wifi was easy.

I was using a motorola surfboard modem apple time capsule for my home internet/wifi setup. I had been dropping internet connection and experiencing slow internet speeds on my devices over the last 6 months. I decided to upgrade all of my equipment and went with the all-in-one Orbi Wifi DOCSIS 3.1 Mesh system. The equipment was easy to setup. Honestly the hardest part was working with Xfinity to get the equipment connected. I now have 10 devices connected to the system, have lightning fast internet speeds, and have extended the range/coverage of wifi in my home.

Kept getting the pink light error. Had to do some troubleshooting for a bit, updating firmware, reset factory settings etc etc. finally sifted through my spiderweb of internet cables and splitters and deleted all that and am now running the line in straight to orbi and no more pink light. Works perfect.

This cable modem/router, one setup, has out performed more than 700$ of other equipment to cover more space and devices smoothly. Now the product I received in particular was supposed to be new but had been reboxed and had previously set security questions. It took time to reset the device, but once it was reset it was basically plug and go. The satellite synced with no issue, and it covers my house and separate garage much more reliably than extenders and older generation mesh Siri had, even with 49 attached devices.

This is a great device. I upgraded from my 10 year old modem and router and this increased my download and upload by 15x and lowered my latency significantly. The device was easy to set up with little to no experience and has worked flawlessly since. It has greatly enhance my home office and work from home experience. My only complaint is that it was fairly pricey, but I hope to get a nice long life out of it offset the cost.

Strong unit
Upgraded from a slower modem to the Orbi with a built in modem. The setup through xfinity took awhile (no fault of Orbi but due to xfinity. Once set up the speed and range is double my old setup. The single extender is set up on the opposite end of the house. My signal strength when connected to the extreme isn’t as strong as the main until but that may be due to that way I have it positioned. Will have to test a couple different placement options and see if that makes a difference. But overall very pleased with the results so far

The Orbi system replaced our Astound rental equipment and was the solution we were looking for. Not being too tech savvy, I did my research, read reviews and watched setup videos. The research brought me to Orbi mesh, the reviews reassured my purchase choice and the YouTube setup videos made me nervous. Turns out setup was a breeze following the included instructions. So far our mesh system was the best thing we could have done for our family’s internet/WiFi sanity. Highly recommend.

A little disappointed with the coverage. I live in a 2500 sqft house and the modem plus one satellite still doesn’t give full coverage to the house. However when I do have a strong connection the speed is great.

Exceeds all expectations
Superior product.
Orbi system has noticeably sped up all of our personal devices. There is zero buffering time on all of our TV/video applications. Orbi provides greater signal strength and range to our home security systems and cameras.

Working great with extended coverage
I live in a historical home with very thick masonry walls between rooms. My old WiFi couldn’t cover the whole house. The Orbi has been a huge improvement with whole house coverage and improved speed.

Best modem option
I was receiving terrible Wi-Fi speeds with my ISP supplied gateway. Increasing speed to 1.2gb seem to make things worse. By purchasing the mesh system with cable modem I was able to return the gateway to my ISP. My Wi-Fi speed has seen a tremendous boost. Word of advice, when completing the setup you will need to connect the cable so it can be seen by your ISP but disconnect it afterwards to complete the device setup then connect the cable last.

Fast connection when working
I’ve had the Orbi router for less than a week and I have lost connection to the internet at least 5 times. When it’s connected my internet is very fast, but it disconnects frequently. The only nice thing is that I can reboot the router from my phone which is convenient.

My Highest Recommendation
The wi-fi signal in my residence via standard equipment provided by my cable company was poor. Streaming Netflix and other sources was impossible except in close proximity to the provided router. So I did a lot of research on higher performing equipment online and selected the Netgear Orbi Mesh System. This system was easy to set up and performance has been truly outstanding from day one. That is why I offer MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for this product!

Easy to install and it provides great connectivity and superb performance. This is our second Orbi system. We recently moved and were able to increase download speed which was beyond our previous modem’s capability. This one is amazing fast, consistent and reliable.

Easy
Going from a surf board to the orbi was such an easier installation process. The surfboard combined with an outdated router started lagging and losing signal. With all of our devices connected, the orbi router does not lag and will allow you do connect multiple devices at one time. I can game and the family can stream and play on their phones. Wish the price was a little lower, but overall easy set up and wifi does not lag!

What a difference!
Replaced a 10-year old Netgear modem/router (still working with the ORBI. Now with fast DL/UL speeds with no dead zones…no need for heavily promoted “super-mega-high-speed” ISP plans.

No parental controls!!!!
It’s absolutely ridiculous that such an expensive system has ZERO parental controls! That’s right, none! Even our super old entry level router/modem has built in parental controls. This is unacceptable and especially at this price point. We will be returning and going with one of the other brands who have robust free built in parental controls

Easy setup and works great
This is extremely easy to setup. Using the app it has step by step instructions. Since I use Xfinity, I had to contact them to “activate” this on their network,l. That was the only part that wasn’t great but it is required for any/all modems anyway. The coverage and speed has been really excellent as well!

Exactly what I needed
This router is a great update and works well with my provider. For the connected devices, it gives you a clear understanding of what is connected and how and allows you to rename them if you want to keep them organized. The speed over the network is great as well, the range is is also great. Having the extra satellite gives my WiFi the boost it needed.

Nice System, poor app
Purchased to replace my old Netgear router. After working thru the setup, system performs well so far. The Orbi app needs work. Installed on my Samsung S20 Ultra, tried to use to complete the system setup, but ended up moving to my laptop. App starts up, connects to router, but keeps reverting to a "Connecting to Wi-Fi" page which never ends. I have to close the Orbi app each time. I've removed the app from my phone, and use my computer to do anything with the router.

Worth the price
The product works as advertised. I have around 20 devices connected in my house and everything works perfectly. From my cameras outside to my fridge in the kitchen. I tried wifi extenders and they can’t even compare. Additionally, I am getting the speed that I am paying for. Before I thought the cable company was scamming me but it looks like my old modem/router couldn’t handle it. I would recommend this product to others.

Recently I bought this and so loved with the way how fast the Wifi6 and backward compatible devices are working. Quick configuration and setup. We can easily turn off a wifi device connect just from app. We are loving it. Thanks for the great product and worth the price. I would definitely recommend this model router who wants to be on advanced wifi technology with many devices streaming simultaneously on amazing speed.

We upgraded from another Netgear because we needed mesh network (internet wasnt reaching 2 rooms. We installed it a week ago and it works great so far. We have internet everywhere. Note that the units themselves and larger than they seem on the picture but it is not a problem because they look really nice and sleek.

Was upgrading from RBR50. Had purchased netgear armor and circle on prior system. NEITHER of which are supported by the new hardware. While it would have been nice to remove my old cable modem and the associated wires, the lack of incremental functionality for the price drove me to return it.

Before installing this, I was getting internet in the room that the old router was and not in the other rooms. We yelled at our internet provider a couple a times until one of them recommended we upgrade our router. Orbi mesh was within our budget. We liked the reviews we read. My wife can now watch her dateline shows in bed once again. (I hope shes not preparing for something! Our kids can stream their shows easily. So far we have about 10 devices connected and we havent experienced any lag at all. It also works while we are in the yard. I highly recommend this.

Cable Modem is Junk
All 32 downstream channels 9dBm , 40dB SnR consistently. 10s of thousands uncorrectables all the time. Have to reset modem 5-6 times daily to maintain internet access. As experiment, went back to old modem for 5 days, did not have to reset once. Clearly not cable wiring issue. Getting rid of this combo unit ASAP. Waste of $$

The Orbi Mesh system is working great after a tricky setup. The phone app kept hitting a snag. I eventually tried the manual method and was able to complete the process fairly easily, including activating Spectrum.

Out of box failure
From the start, the router kept dropping the IP connection, forcing a reboot multiple times a day. Netgear is sending me a replacement, which is costing an additional $30, if I wanted to have it quickly and not send my current router back first. I cannot be without any connection... a bad one is better than none. At the cost of this product, there should have been no fees for replacement. I am hoping the replacement works as expected. This has been a disappointment so far.

We have been having issues with our cable/internet provider for awhile now. I decided I would just purchase a router/modem instead of leasing one from the provider. My only regret I have is not getting this sooner! We have no dead zones in our house and the best part is I can now watch tv in my work shop because the wifi signal is super strong! I highly recommend this product!

Great modem/router, reasonably priced for what I got.
Very powerful system. It works well to have the second "Guest" account, since some of my older equipment can't access the WEP-3 security that I have my primary account set up to handle. The higher security has occasionally caused a few snags with work arounds needed. I think that's just the new environment we are in, but glad to feel secure that security is working for me (One of the main reason I updated my router/modem in the first place). Over all very satisfied and very fast.

This is the most expensive router/modem I have ever purchased but it is totally worth the money! The coverage range is amazing, areas that I usually had slow downs in my house are non-existent now. The speed with many devices running always stays good so we never notice a dip.

Exactly what I was looking for. Took about 10 minutes to set up and seamless connection with all my devices. Just make sure if you have an older device, it’s compatible with wireless AX. My laptop needed an update for the Wi-Fi to work but afterwards it worked like a charm.

Very easy to set up. Impossible to get it wrong. Extended range with satellite is perfect. Nice looking design. Only aggravation is dealing with Xfinity to get it registered.
