It’s really frustrating to have to be reset my router back to back to back. I can’t even complete the configuration process before i end up locked out of it again. The Wi-Fi is performing at top notch speeds, which I mentioned, is great, but I’m still uneasy about the lack of options I’m left with when it comes to security and privacy of the router /:

There have been occasional moments where the internet is up but the Orbi is PINK indicating an issue but its not clear on what to do. So we end up rebooting the router and then it works. Its the time factor on this... happens when in a rush to finish something typically. Overall very happy to have this router and grateful.

Range is spotty. I will be returning this for a hopefully better system! At this price this should have installed in a snap and I shouldn’t have reception problems in a standard 1.5 story 2000 sf home!

It requires a cable to connect to the Laptop to set it up.

It is very automated with the app but I had a problem, and the app went into a mode that I could not get out of. Had to delete the app from my phone and reinstall to fix that problem. Also I have only 3 Orbis and the system defaulted to connecting the satellites in serial which made no sense since i have them on two different floors above and below the main unit. Had to spend some time on Google search to get answers to fix that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wins head-to-head against Eero I had both the Eero device from my girlfriend and my own Orbi device. recently moved to a two story house and initially used an Eero router system for WiFi because it was easier to set-up. The Eero did not have the capability to distribute the WiFi signal throughout the house. It kept dropping the signal and the TV’s, gaming and other devices were not performing. After a few weeks of this, I finally spent the time to set-up my Orbi system, and the speeds and reliability is night and day as compared to Eero experience. The Orbi is capable of utilizing the full speed of the internet service. I would recommend the Orbi to everyone.

The router handles the workload phenomenally, better than others at its price point. But the whole reason I got it was for the satellite, and things are very buggy when we have it active. Devices connected to it get kicked or have very low speeds despite the satellite having Ethernet backhaul, possibly due to it not being sure which orbi to connect to. May get a different satellite eventually.

The original account was assigned to him but he passed away, I no longer have access to the account. The previous network had dead zones in the house but now the signal is consistent. The only thing we haven’t figured out is how to set the static IPs to reconnect the whole house sound system but we haven’t had the chance to really play around with it yet. We’re really happy with the improved connectivity with the Orbi.

I bought the first one 3 years ago, the homes in Costa Rica are made with cinder blocks which restrict the WiFi signal, plus internet is terrible in that country any way. I purchased the current refurbished Orib system, my mothers home is over a hundred years old back when house was built there was some form of concrete used which hinders the internet signal. I must admit now that Orbi has been implemented we haven't a lot of our issues are now obsolete.

I have 20+ devices connected to it at any given time. The only problem I had with it was. I updated the router to the latest firmware and it caused the internet to nuisance drop out. Netgear tech support resolved this issue. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone.

After moving in, we attempted to use our router from our previous home, but it didn’t have enough coverage. We then tried a new router plus an extender, which was awful. Finally we found the Orbi mesh system and everything has worked smoothly. No issues even with three floors to cover.

I have paired it with my service provider's 4G Internet router via ethernet cable and working with both my Smart home system. I've had it for about a month now and so far, I'm loving it.

Finally have strong wifi in their entire house (3200sqft) I bought this orbi set for myself 1 router 1 satellite plus a prev generation satellite I had and couldn't get the old satellite connected even though it's supposed to be compatible. Wanted to set up an office in my empty garden shed but i can't get it to reach even though it should be within the 4000sqft

The initial setup truly only lasted ten minutes at best. Our multilevel home never loses connection and the parental controls are great as well. I’ve tried difference routers over the years and I can say that the Orbi system is the way to go! Works on Apple, Windows and Android devices seamlessly. Please try this system ASAP!

It was important to me to find a system with advanced customization options and an easily accessible admin console and the ability to create a separate guest network. My only complaint is that my guest network name cannot include special characters (e.g an apostrophe) and as a result I had to reconfigure WiFi access for devices connected to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing difference Before getting my orbi system, I was using the WiFi equipment my internet provider ensured me was the fastest equipment available without spending thousands. I was reluctantly satisfied with their equipment but I noticed that my home camera system was not reliable. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it didn’t. It missed over half of my of the visitors. The only way I knew someone was at the door, was when they called my phone to tell me they arrived to my house. Well since switching to orbi, I noticed how much I was really missing out. My internet is over 5 times the speed it used to be and I now know when someone is approaching my door. I have been recommending orbi to everyone I know. I should have made the switch years ago!
