Unlike other MagSafe-style designs, this does not stay securely against the iPhone. So, if you're charging in your pocket and not sitting still on a desk, be aware of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am rating the Zagg I am rating the Zagg snap+ juice pack mini with only one start so far, because, a month after I purchased it, I still can’t use it. It took two plus weeks for the shipping of the item to reach my home. I couldn’t attach the cord provided to the wall in any way. I googled it and purchased a new charger adaptor, hoping that would help. But, if didn’t. When I called Zagg to find out why I was unable to use my unit, I learned the company had mistakenly sent me the wrong cord. While they gave me a $15 credit to cover my purchase of the unneeded power adaptor, they didn’t offer to ship the new cord in an express fashion. It’s now more than a month since I purchased my unit and still waiting for the correct cord so I can actually use my unit.

That's all I needed it to do. Instead here is what it does: it keeps the iPhone 12Pro at one level. If I attach the device to the phone when the phone is at 17% for example, the device keeps the phone at 17%. Worthless, and I will return it immediately.

It doesn't reliably connect. It works sometime for 20 seconds and other times it works for hours and I don’t know which will happen so I have to constantly check it.

We also have the Apple version that recently came out and I would put this one higher on the review list. More power, extremely light weight, and great design with the cloth covering. Great experience through ZAGG as well with fast shipping to Canada. 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just okay I have been a huge supporter of mophie cases and extended batteries over the years. In fact I normally by the case before I ever get the phone. However this time around I am not impressed. I am not sure where the blame should fall either…on apple or zagg. The battery says it is for a mini but it sagemags below the end of the phone. So doesn’t fit the mini. It also does not work as great when you have a case on your phone, seems to bounce/break away if laid down the wrong way. Love this company, best phone company for cases and extended batteries but miss the built in extended battery case regardless of the new MagSafe technology.

The material used on it is very aesthetically pleasing but it is slippery and causes the battery pack to slide and lose it’s magnetic hold. Also, when I pick the phone up I knock the battery off. Trying to grasp the sides without pushing the external battery is very difficult to me. I’ll be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bulky and Doesn't charge iPhone 13 @ 15w I bought this on a whim because I had just purchased my Apple iPhone 13 as an upgrade to my Apple iPhone 11. So since I couldn't find an actual battery case for my new iPhone 13 I figured this was the next best thing and I wouldn't have to keep it attached to the phone all the time. First off its quite bulky. Its just as thick as an iPhone 13 and almost the same width and 3/4 the height of it. No it won't cover your camera on your phone, thank goodness for that. I watched a youtube video of this charger before I bought it and tried to find as many reviews for it as I could and I figured why not. Well It doesn't charge any iPhone at 15w. It does have Magsafe. I have tried it with multiple different Magsafe cases even the Chinese knockoff cases on Amazon work with it as well as the Spigen cases. BTW all the magnets used for Magsafe are the same. The magnetic rings are all made by the same company. But this charger doesn't charge at 15w. The Apple portable charger doesn't charge at 15w with. I also don't like the fact that when you attach the charger to the back of the phone it doesn't start to charge by itself, you have to press the tiny button then go for it. Bottom line is, if you are fine with it not charging at 15w and it being bulky and also having to press the button on the bottom of the device to initiate charging, then spend the $50. I didn't find any value in it.

Definitely a misrepresentation of the product. Their policy says that I can return it but must bear the cost and process of shipping it back. I wrote them a note with an appeal. They never responded. Poor showing on their part. AVOID.

Can get one full charge from around 40% phone battery life. Magnets are strong and hold up pretty good on my phone. Only complain is that the led indicators don’t light up when you charge the juice pack so you don’t know if it’s charging or not, or when it’s done charging unless you press the power button.

USPS is a lot faster. Often times we get a new phone and want to protect it with a new screen protector and case. It makes no sense to have to wait 2 weeks for that. FedEx Ground is a poor choice.

I was about to spend 30 bucks on a charger when my boi said “take mine”. Took of the case and slapped it on. While it did take a min to fully charge, I don’t have to mess with wires in my pocket or any other place with valuable real estate again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality materials but missing a key part of MagSafe This is unfortunately missing the stabilizing magnet below the ring magnet. This allows it to spin when attached to the phone and makes it very easy to accidentally remove during normal use. Aside from that it would be a great product. I really like the premium feel of it compared to other magnetic batteries. Definitely high quality but not adding the extra dollar worth of magnet was an unfortunate mistake.

Not sure just too hot that particular day or a longer bike ride

Phone must be restarted to get it to charge. Phone charges wirelessly on multiple other chargers. This one just doesn't quite perform as advertised….

The button is hard to find by touch. The battery is big for the 12 mini, but with my case it doesn’t overhang from the back of the mini too much (just on the bottom of the phone)

How did they let this go into production with such a weak magnet is beyond me but maybe that's why it was on sale. At any rate I returned them...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not totally sold on this I have a morphie case/battery for my former phone(S10e) and simply loved it! I figured that this would be a nice option as they don't have one for my new phone. (S20fe) This does charge the phone and the magnet is nice. I had to dremel my new case so that it sits flush but that wasn't a big deal for me. Please be aware that you need a 15watt charger and none of the chargers have watts listed on them. A newer, Samsung should cover you tho. Also, the control button on the juice pack is small and doesn't seem very responsive when you hold it down. It just seems cumbersome and difficult. Maybe it is because I am used to the morphie S10e battery case that is simply wonderful that I am not in love with this battery. It does work so far. Other reviews seem to be not so glowing. I do like that I don't have to have a clunky battery attached to my phone when I don't need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The magnet is not strong enough to create a good bond I have used a mophie for years on my iPhone 6. I upgraded to the iPhone 12 and got the juice. I do not like the snap technology. The magnet does not make a strong enough connection with or without my silicone phone case. I wish I could return it but the box was destroyed by a family member. Please bring back the old style mophie case which encapsulated the phone and did not rely on a weak magnetic field.

The one problem I have is the power button, since charging requires to turn the power bank on first, I find it's kind of hard, always have to push the button many times to turn the power on. Don't know if it just my unit or it all behave like this.

The magnet to apply to phone so the battery stays attached to the phone lasted five minutes before it fell off and the adhesive wasn't even sticky anymore. I bought the battery so I could use the magnet to keep it attached to my phone and now that feature no longer works unless I super glue the magnet ring to my phone.

I have used it with and without a magsafe compatible case and I am forced to either leave it sitting on the table to allow to charge or place a rubber band around it and my phone to place in my pocket or even hold or else the batter falls off the back of the phone.

Got this one and at least half the time I snap it to the iPhone 12 pro, it doesn’t start charging. I have to pop it on and off and wiggle it around a bunch before it will charge. I don’t understand why this would be. It’s like the coil isn’t strong enough for the phone to detect it reliably or something. Also I feel like it doesn’t stick as securely as the Apple one; it’s much more wiggly. Sometimes I just end up plugging the phone into it instead of using MagSafe. Good price and it’s nice that you can charge things via usb-c but you get what you pay for in terms of reliability.

It was a very slow charge and it got pretty hot as it charged. Other than that, it worked! Make sure you have a case it can charge through!

I have not tried it on a completely drained phone yet to see if it does deliver a full charge. I would have rated it a little higher, but it took over two weeks to arrive and Zagg does not make it easy to contact the customer service. I would have cancelled because of the slow shipping but that was not an option through the website.

I keep this in my purse for when my phone is lower than I like or want. But the main reason I bought this was for travel. This is so much easier than having a changing block and a cord when I'm out and about on vacation. The magnet on back is very strong and I've not had one issue with it not feeling secure.

This one does that, but it is on the heavy side, especially if you're carrying it around and not having it sit on a desk. The pack's charge also lasts a long time, which is great, but I do charge it every night so it is at capacity for the next day. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 for the weight factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good on multiple levels I have been ordering Zagg goods for years now. The last few items have been hit and miss, but this one they got right. First off it works as advertised. The magnetic ring that comes with it is easy to install and once set up, the batter pack clicks in nicely. There is another advantage for my setup (Samsung Galaxy Fold 3) - without the ring the phone it a bit tippy when on a flat surface because of the camera bump. The magnetic ring doesn’t make it perfectly level, but goes a long way towards that. Lastly, it is nice to be able to charge and use wired headphones at the same time. Wish it was fast charging compatible, but maybe next time. Another great product from Zagg.

Customer service was great though, and sent a cable to me at no cost. The charger itself is great, although gets a little warm sometimes.

The battery pack is too long and partially covers the camera causing a haze on the pictures so you need to remove the battery pack to take pictures. The sales picture does not look like it really is, unless maybe an iPhone 14 plus was used for the advertisement. I still gave it three stars because it does stay attached well, and it does charge quickly and lasts long.

I ordered the juice pack mini for iPhone 14 plus max and they sent one that says compatible with 12/13 and not compatible with 13 pro. I reached out to the email messaging service since there is no phone number to call. Sent the pictures of the item ordered and the item received. And they have never responded. Only an email to rate my order and sales emails. Very disappointing I want the correct item.
