Remember, it’s not meant for a full charge. I used it one time so far and it gave me about 30% more charge. But that got me through the rest of the day.

I also noticed the pack doesn’t charge 100% when the phone is in it. I have to charge the pack separately to get a full charge. The “air” pack is less of a charge.

I had a juice pack on it already it was the open bottom model and I like the ability to either charge my phone or the mophie but by allowing the bottom to be open the corners of the mophie was chipped due to dropping and was starting to get caught on strings in my pockets. It also had to be glued together as the design flaw of the mophie where the upper and lower parts connect and lock in had worn down and was no longer holding the upper part and lower part together. But now with the new mophie juice pack it’s like I got a new phone and the battery life is great. Thanks again from a loyal mophie customer.

It is very easy to take my phone out of the case and put it back in. The two piece design keeps it together, but also allows easy removal. Overall, the battery case gives enough juice when I need it. I would love for there to be more capacity in the battery case. It currently will charge my phone 30-40% before the battery case is depleted.

If you turn the case on it probably tops up your phone battery by 20-25%. I’ve used other battery cases prior to using this one and the results have been far better so I wouldn’t recommend this.

And yes Ive charged it until it was fully charged (juice pack air) I even charged it over night and it still won’t charge my phone fully. I even waited until my phone was at 10% multiple times and tried to see how much juice it would give and it only charged it to 42% and the (Juice Pack Air) was dead. Save your money and don’t wasn’t on this.

Had left my phone home when I went on a road trip fully charged. I know because I checked the phone before I showered and it was full. I inadvertently left it on my dresser and left suddenly. When I returned 12 hours later, it was dead. Had to charge it all over again. We will see if this need to be conditioned so I’ve charged it. I’ll let it die another two times and see if it gets better. I will say the wireless charging does work. Not as fast as the plug in but works nonetheless.

I must remove the case if I wish to listen using my headphones. I am unhappy about this issue, do you have a solution or suggestion?

I fully charged the Mophie Juice Pack and attached my iPhone XR to it. My battery health on my iPhone was at 44%. I turned the Mophie Juice Pack on and waited. My iPhone only got charged up to 77% when the Mophie Juice Pack ran out of juice. I used to have a different charger for my old iPhone 6S Plus and no matter where my iPhone battery level was, it would charge it to 100% and still have at least one light left on the charger battery indicator. I am going to contact ZAGG to return this and maybe exchange it for a new one. I’m hoping maybe it is just a faulty charger.

One flaw - it covers the charging Jack on iPhone XR. I usually use wireless charging but if I travel, I plug a cord into the jack. Had to take the whole thing off to charge and then had no extra life as my juice air pack was dead.

After charging overnight(4 lights) and placing the phone inside the case and checking the battery charge status it changed to 2 LED lights within 2 mins. And after 12 mins it was at the single LED light. I tried to go online to request for a refund or replacement, there is no option at all for doing either. This the second ZAGG mophie battery related product I own and had the same experience. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY PRODUCTS FROM ZAGG!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It will indeed add battery. And cause problems. I really wanted to like this, as I type from the phone I replaced my XR with. I just needed about 20% more batter to get through my day, which this delivered. However it caused a whole rife of problems elsewhere. The lightning port wouldn’t function if the juice pack was full. So if I wanted to use CarPlay early my day, for example, I’d have to remove the case. It’s the right form factor. It’s the right weight. It’s the wrong solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn’t last as long as advertised. It’s only allowed for a little less than 24 hours of total usage. The backup battery only brings the phone up an extra 15% of battery usage. I have all my notifications turned off and just the basics pushing notifications through.

We ordered what we thought was the correct model for Christmas and had to return it. The correct model wasn’t in stock and I requested to be notified when it became available. I never received any notification but found it advertised. I’d still be waiting for your notification.

Before I went to the juice pack air, I was getting the same performance from my iPhone the case has added more weight to the phone. I do like how the case buttons react to my pressing them. There is a crisp feeling of contact with the phone buttons. The case itself offers a bit more protection to the phone.

It drained my battery so I’d have to use the pack more often which really didn’t give me any extra battery. I did a test with and without the case and I had far less battery time when using the case. Truly disappointed.

It also only charges my phone for about an hour before it's dead. Other power cases I've had could charge my phone for hours on end. Waste of $$

Great unit and no complains here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!!! The juice pack air has really made a nice difference. Not only is it a protector, it offers great extra juice right when you need it. I was lucky to have caught it on sale, but nonetheless it’s worth it no matter the cost. I am now charging my iPhone in increments of two days at a time. I talk much on the phone and listen to music and it still holes an awesome charge. Don’t use it for surfing much because that’s the iPads job. Pleasantly impressed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mophie juice pack air I was looking for a battery case to hold my use of my phone for all day and that wouldn’t break the bank... so when this went on sale I snatched it up. I like the feel of it and it doesn’t add bulk like other battery cases do. It matches my red iPhone XR! I have dropped it a few times already and it holds up to the drop test. My only complaint is the actually battery: at a full battery charge, I get maybe 30% more when I charge it... other reviews and the website claim that the extra battery gives more than it actually does... hence the low mark in the review... other than that I like it and will continue to use it.

They were a quality product for many years until the last year+ , we have noticed that they just don't last very long like they used to. The current one was purchased only 3 weeks ago and is already having charging issues. I will be sending it back today.

All though it’s mite protective than my previous charging case and better quality, it is practically worthless in terms of charging capability. My last (much less expensive) case would completely re-charge my almost dead phone at least two times over while this case barely gets my phone charged back to 30%. Definitely not worth the money for such minimal extra battery. Disappointed.

I understand the frustration that most feel with this particular case not providing a full charge, but that's not necessarily the point of the case - it provides that extra "jump" to get you to your next charge while also keeping the case slim. Great job with another excellent case!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kinda useless I’ve tried several different tests and can only get At the most about 35-40% extra battery with my iPhone XR also in low power mode with a fully charged case. I don’t think I’d be as disappointed except it claimed to be more. I remember seeing in one of the pictures even it said up to 30+ hours of battery life. Yeah; Maybe if you include the phone at 100% on low power mode and don’t use it much, and then add the juice pack to that. I wouldn’t waste your money on this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy but doesn’t charge well This case is great in the aspect of durability and strength. It’s not too bulky which I love and it’s a hard case. The whole reason I got it was to charge my phone if it gets low since i use it a lot for work. Unfortunately, it won’t even charge it completely once. It normally only can charge it about 30%, and that’s whether I’m on it or just sitting and letting it charge. It also doesn’t charge as fast as a cord either. I’m keeping it because it’s a durable case and will at least charge to get me through, but not a good charging device. The small charging pod works better for cheaper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red iPhone XS Juicepack Air Case is great, the price was amazing. Last juicepack I purchased for my work phone an iPhone 7 was $90, that one took everything an otter box could for every day usage, I had it in my shirt pocket coming down about a 36’ roof access fireman type ladder that had a safety cage around it and about half way down it slipped out of my shirt pocket and landed face down after hitting a corner.. a little piece of plastic broke off underneath the vibrate switch, case stayed together fine as clips were in tact and both bottom and top pieces have so a minuscule tolerance that it holds super tight against the phone and I can never see it just popping totally off, I’d say the weakest point is the top piece that snaps down to complete the case, but I don’t mean to call it weak at all, so let’s less rigid and durable. At work sometimes for 18+ hour days on occasion, and 12 hours days on average if you’re not on call, I would get an extra maybe 50% charge if I just left it alone and charged until the case died which was great. I’d say it’s a little less of a boost for the iPhone XS, but I had a 7 Plus before & it is a good bit larger than the XS, so I imagine the extra case real estate allowed for a larger battery, so naturally more capacity, I will say that even though I get maybe a 40% extra charge to my battery, the case feels much better in hand and pocket than before.. it feels overall thinner and a good bit lighter. Throw this thing on with a glass or quality screen protector, and just pull it apart(takes a second), and wipe it out every week or 2, depending on your environment, it does trap dust and can trap other very fine materials(dirty, metal shavings, wood etc)which can scuff the phone up, after 2.5 years the 7.5 came out looking mostly new except for small scuffs along the top and mostly the bottom where the speakers are ported, which is amazing and it offered protection the whole time taking some series hits from time to do, case continued to function for that entire time & didn’t seem to suffer from any capacity loss so they have to be using some nice quality lithium ion or phosphate packs. Only negative experience was ordering it online, which has nothing to do with Zag, the shipper simply did not meet the expected delivery date by anywhere close, it arrived a county over finally & sat there for days after which was delivered to the wrong local USPS, which only added about another 36 hours to the already 9th? Later than expected, but the COVID deal has turned shipping a little less of a convenience for everyone, Best Buy only had the access case available, and I do like that one better at $30 you couldn’t beat getting an air. Pulling the phone to connect to the PC or whatever any accessory is just too simple to justify another $50.. ANYWAY HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE TRYING TO DECIDE! THIS IS A BOOK OF A REVIEW LOL! ps the red is beautiful, it’s not the red you think of and it is very attractive with the black XS it’s a very iPhone red type of red maybe a shade or three darker

I fully charged the Mophie Juice Pack and attached my iPhone XR to it. My battery health on my iPhone was at 44%. I turned the Mophie Juice Pack on and waited. My iPhone only got charged up to 77% when the Mophie Juice Pack ran out of juice. I used to have a different charger for my old iPhone 6S Plus and no matter where my iPhone battery level was, it would charge it to 100% and still have at least one light left on the charger battery indicator. I am going to contact ZAGG to return this and maybe exchange it for a new one. I’m hoping maybe it is just a faulty charger.

I’d expect it to at least completely charge the phone! It’s terrible! I got a case with a charger for convenience but should have just gotten a power bank...

One major bonus was purchasing the Juice Pack Air for my daughter when starting College. Initially she wasn’t keen on giving up her Kate Spade cover, but once her iPhone was placed in the Mophie Juice Pack, it never came off, saving her, (me) money on countless new Phone Covers due to the added charge that kept her phone charged all four years, plus her phone was spotless when removed for any upgrade/trade in value, (dad gets her hand me downs;-)! Thank you for a great product. My Snugg iPad Pro Keyboard folio has been a great add-on, no longer needing to pull out the Laptop, (she just purchased one for her newer iPad Pro so brand loyalty is alive and well with US).

And yes Ive charged it until it was fully charged (juice pack air) I even charged it over night and it still won’t charge my phone fully. I even waited until my phone was at 10% multiple times and tried to see how much juice it would give and it only charged it to 42% and the (Juice Pack Air) was dead. Save your money and don’t wasn’t on this.

It fits perfect, it looks good, the performance is not as high as I thought it would. It recharges the phone, but I expected at least a 60% charge. I get about 30% charge.
