Rated 2 out of 5 by from So close, yet so far. The concept for this is amazing no doubt. The case itself is fantastic and works without flaw. The issue lays within the charging base. The first problem is the units fickleness of the positioning. If not placed in the exact (and I do mean exact) right spot, the base will intermittently lose the connection and then restore, resulting in the buzz buzz and ding ding noise over and over again. Even when placed in the exact right spot it can still have spotty connectivity. If you get a text or an email while charging, the vibration causes the position to change slightly enough where it will not reliable charge. The second issue I’ve found is that while charging, that base unit will emit and very high frequency, faint squeal. I, like most people, charge my phone on my bedside table over night. This squeal is super annoying and on a few occasions it’s woken me up and I’ve just groggily pushed it off the charger for some sweet silence. I don’t know if these issues are universal or I just have a defective unit but this certainly would’ve gotten a 5 review otherwise. Kind of a shame to have to buy a separate third party charging base from Qi or ikea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I came to update my experience (in a positive way) I'm a little disappointed my original review was approved and no longer appears? It was objective and overall I still think this is the best answer to hands free driving while charging for ANY iPhone 6/6 Plus owner especially b/c it order to use Hey Siri on an iPhone 6/6 Plus to say "Hey Siri, text my girlfriend" or "Open Spotify" you need to be PLUGGED IN and this system "fools" your phone b/c it actually IS plugged in, just wirelessly and it's magnetic charging vent mount keeps ups with all multitasking I can throw at it and the magnet itself is strong and hold a now fairly heavy juice pack wireless charging case and large iPhone 6 Plus PEEFECTLY in place, that you can "grab & go" when getting out of the car and the Vent mount stays put. Flawless and even swivels with a clickable mechanisms that doesn't degrade in tightness. I run decided instead of upgrade a phone money was MUCH better spent making it more useful when until the iPhone 8 you really aren't getting much. I think and iPhone 6s Plus in one of these cases is the best all worlds if you want same system and get a performance boost the IS actually significant, but then the iPhone 7 pails in comparison once you've incorparated this wireless charging system if you want to breath new life into a device you already own. I returned to write an update b/c I DID have a few concerns materials the case was constructed of and do warn people to try to not take apart the case too often and avoid doing near the top b/c the material can be injured by fingernails alone so best to be religious about making sure you charge overnight b/c you give up the quick charge of 2A gives with the system and it can take a long time to get back the 50% juice pack and an entire iPhone 6 Plus battery if you don't and it almost forces you to take apart and use lightning cables and 2.1A wall chargers while SEPARATELY microUSB charging your case and get both back up to a 100% and put back in the wireless charging case at that point. The upsides FAR outway the one thing you need to be attentive to charge at night. I keep in landscape mode and it's like adding a full hands free 6" touch screen the unlike my 2015 Subaru's new "hands free infotainment 7" LCD head unit" (that basically gives you nothing but Pandora and iHeart Radio) this allows you to hands free text people, call people all while having FULL access to EVERY app. Amazon Music, Netflix, Spotify, Pandora, any GPS mapping app, everything! It's really best thing since sliced bread. Quickly clicks onto dash, keeps up with the charging and gives hands free access all on a system that is under $200 and worth every penny. Plus mophie stood by their warranty and I did have my unit replaced from issues that happen when you take apart too frequently, but as I said other than that and Mophie still covered me, it's an incredible invention and met every task I threw at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far flawless execution of purpose Had this a month now and it gets the two main purposes done - extended cargo range and wireless charging. The reason I looked for it was for my new Tacoma has the wireless pad and it is a functional plus for everyday usage. Recommend improving the directions in two areas:1) For installing on your phone they should clearly illustrate the housing comes apart so you don't waste time figuring out you don't just snap the phone in like some other protective covers. 2) Be more clear on the procedure for charging both the phone and backup battery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The iPhone 6/6s plus is breaking apart in chunks? I absolutely think the combination of the magnetic vent mount! It is the sole reason to buy this system! Best thing since sliced bread and actually keeps up with my 6 Plus CHARGE while running Navigation and a music streaming app. Even running TWO navigation programs! PROBLEM is if you have to take it out of its case at all, it falls apart in "chunks". All around any "pry" area you might use to separate the two pieces suddenly start a process where "chunks" start coming out all around the lens especially. I even have a chunk from removing my headphones beginning to fall out? Whatever material they are using clearly can become "brittle" and I don't see much hope to long term use? I considered trying to ask to replace w/a 7 plus case (fits/works) but would require my to use BT headphones strictly? Then again if it's the same material there is something up. Maybe certain batches? (and it likes to "explode" into the two pieces if ever even slightly dropped but I can't say I've even had a real "drop" but weirdly the outward force of this "explosion" seems to protect the phone?) But the plastic/rubber "chunk" disintegration issue is 100% REAL and AT&T is gratefully replacing but I am terrified to take it out of the case now! Thing is, if any have used them, they DO NOT charge as fast as a 2A wall iPad 12W block w/lightning cable. So if you get the entire phone and juice pack low, the tendency is to take out, plug the iphone into wall w/lighting to get back your charge quickly and plug in the Mophie Case by itself and charge it up and put both back together. I've had to do it a couple dozen times just because I couldn't wait on 1A speed charging so I simply used MALE fingers with BARELY any "nails" to open the two pieces to toss on charge and the result has been the cases falling apart in chunks in front of my eyes. NOW the juice pack switch has failed and entire case began doing and was less than 6mths old? I STILL say this system is awesome in combination with the incredible magnetic charging vent mount. I own a "hands free infotainment system" in my 2015 Impreza Sport Premium and you have to PLUG in iPhones to still us and all you get is Pandora and fee worthless apps except for managing local iTunes or other local music. THIS system on 6 PLUS basically gives you a 6" touch display with access to Amazon Music, Spotify, and every app including texting ones. I prefer to say "Siri turn off Bluetooth" to get better voice recognition and just ask Siri to turn back on when done but it's the closest thing to non-plugged in, yank right off of car minute you stop, all while charging your phone and giving you access to every app, not just 2 or 3 from a stupid head unit with no plans to upgrade its firmware. The charging vent mount and the case in landscape mode ROCK. (and it keeps phone secure, the thing does add weight but the magnet keeps up with it perfectly.
