It is a snap to hookup to your computer and does not take up a lot of desk space. Excellent mid-range and bass. I would recommend these to anyone willing to expand their computer system to accommodate stereo sound.

Setting the speakers up was super easy; I just had plugged them in. These speakers are also pretty compact and they look nice too.

I use them every day and not just with my computer but also with my iPod ad other MP3 players. The first day I got this I was listening to a song with my wife and I looked at her and said "I didn't even know there was a base line in that part of the song!" great product worth every penny!

The speaker leads limit separation when the subwoofer is on the floor and the speakers at desk level... but these are "computer speakers" and they don't need much more separation to make my work space ROCK. The mids and highs are crisp and the woofer does its job to deliver bass that make you FEEL the rythym. Thank you Logitech, I have a big smile on my face listening to this system. Well done! Ordering and delivery were easy and painless. :

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding First off, I opened this product with a $40 pair of speakers in mind and got amazing quality 2x that of my broken $50 speaker i bought awhile ago. The cords are long so they give you quite a bit of room to move everything around. The bass in this thing could probably shake my house if i put it up to max, lucky i never even need to go that high to FEEL it. The middle piece is quite large but well worth the space. Over all 5 of 5 stars.

Very pleased with these, look nice too and sub woofer is a nice size and produces excellent sound. Would recommend these to anyone as a desktop sound system.

My previous speaker system, a Logitech Z-5500 is now being used as the home theatre so I needed a new set for my PC. I got these Z313 and WOW! For a 2.1 set, these are the greatest. The sub is the star of the show, it supplies good, clean bass even when turned up loud. It's powerful for its size. The speakers give crisp sound but lack range. A treble/bass knob would've helped to improved the somewhat thin sound. Overall, the Z313 system is great. You cannot beat the sound in this price range. Even though its not perfect, I give it 5 stars because its high value and performs better than comparable systems. Highly recommended.

I trust them to last a while since most logitech products do. The only thing that was suprising was that there was not a seperate bass control. However, its not really needed, the sound mixes very well.

They are tuned to give mostly bass and there is no way to adjust the bass on them. I don't mean that they give an awesome bass sound, they don't. It's just that the higher tones are eliminated. It makes listening to spoken word not so good. And listening to music is not so good either because there is no 'fullness' to the sound. Either find better sounding cheap speakers or spend a little extra and get some real speakers.

The speakers don't feel quite as premium, but the sound they deliver makes up for it. It sounds a bit more crisp and the bass is definitely more present. I wouldn't call these as musical speakers necessarily, but they are fantastic for movies thanks to the subwoofer.

At first, I found this frustrating, however, after recieving this speaker system I am more than happy to have an external speaker system. They have enough power, with no distortion that I can hear, for an average sized room or apartment. I’ve had these for about a week and I’m very happy with them.

I was pretty much familiar with Logitech, due to my employer using some of their hardware and being that their products were pretty good, I decided to give them a try. I was sure glad I did, because the sound is a complete upgrade from the laptop standard speakers and me being a music lover, was glad that I was able to make this change.

I don't understand why some people are not satisfied. Perhaps they are comparing them to a stereo component system. I have one of them, also. This system is great, with super great sound!! I've had this speaker system for about a year now and they sound as good as ever!! They sound so great, that I just bought a Z313 system for my daughter-in-law, for her laptop. She is really impressed with the sound!! Music never sounded so good, for a reasonable price, from a comuter!!

The speakers, combined with the sub-woofer, are so much better than the Beats audio on my laptop, and they sound fantastic, whether I'm listening to Brahms or The Psychedelic Furs! I don't know if they'd be as good in a larger room (office is 12 x 12), but they're perfect for my application.

It is good enough for playing the odd MP3 file or playing the Windows sounds. The remote control is not very good, it is too light and the volume control is a wheel on the side of it. I solved the light problem with some double sided sticky tape. Pretty good bass, but there is no tone or bass level control. I wish now that I had spent a little more on a speaker system, but this is just okay. Don't expect high fidelity sound.

I intentially ordered these thinking they were like any other PC speaker system and I just needed something basic for my satellite radio but I am overwhelmed by the sound quality. I have a basic 2 speaker setup in my workout room to plug in my satellite radio but its like night and day. I'm ordering a 2nd set for that room.

I saw these speakers and the reviews and decided to give it a try. " if I don't like them I'll just take them back". I won't ever be giving these speakers back. The quality of these speakers are great along with the design. They don't look or sound cheap. They are not thin plastic thats loosely screwed together, they are solid and sturdy. I don't get the crackling noise that my old speakers got when the volume was up high and the bass is surprising for such a little system. The only beef I do have with this system is the users lack of control over the subwoofer. I love the amount of bass it puts out but I am currently in a dorm and wish I could turn the bass down instead of turning down the volume. If you don't have the problem of living in close proximity to other people that mind bass than these speakers are great for their price. Thank you Logitech!

Why , because they make a very high quality product at a very reasonable price. With Logitech , low price does NOT mean low quality. These speakers may be small , but they are quite large in volume , and giant in quality.The sound is crisp and the bass is great as well. I bought these for my Wife and she is very happy. They are easy to set up , have a small profile , and make it a pleasure to listen to your music , and movies too. Something that is true to EVERY one of the 3 styles I have bought from Logitech. They all sound great soft or loud. I am impressed with the all around high quality of all 3 kinds of my Logitechs from the lower to the higher Watts , the size , and the price. $35 to $180 and all are a pleasuare to own and to use. The THX speakers are fantastic and pack a movie and music punch that will have your friends and family wishing they owned some too. HP sells them on this web site 15 to 25 watts or the 200 watt THX Logitechs , you can and will enjoy pure crisp music and movies with these speakers as well as the other models as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incompatable equipment I purchased a HP p6204y computer from Best Buy. Speakers and Microphone had to come separately. I purchased this Logitecyh Z313 speaker set because I was told to use a 2.1 system. The installation instructions for the speakers do not in anyway adapt to the 6204. Then when I check the software in the PC6204 the only sound drivers shown are for REALTECK. Then HP does not list any REALTECK speaker products for sale and do not say anywhere in the instructions that a REALTECK system should be used I am ready to tear my hair out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loud enough for my master bedroom I only bought this sound system because I bought a monitor and the built on speaker wasn’t loud or loud enough so I knew I had to buy one to connect for my computer. I read all the reviews online on which one to get. I’m glad I went with this one because it is loud enough for my master bedroom when I’m in the bathroom getting ready I can play music on YouTube. So it definitely does the job. I wished they made them in different colors. It’s always either black wire or silver. The thing is I have a color theme and it’s beige in color so the black speakers don’t match. My keyboard is beige my mouse pad and mouse is beige. My chair is beige and my computer table is white. It would be fun if Dell had color choices in the future!

I played several CD's, including one by David Hudson who plays the Didgeridoo with an Aborigine band, and it sounded like they were in the room. It rocked the walls.You can't beat Logitech quality for the price of this speaker set. Very easy install also, I plugged them into the computer and they were ready. I was very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! Based on a past PC speaker purchase, for the price, I was expecting basic sound delivery. WOW, I couldn't be more wrong! The sound was spectacular! Good bass, treble and the volume was excellent. When increasing the volume, it didn't get scratchy. . Rather than spending big bucks for speakers, I highly recommend this system!

Fits my shelf above my desk area and has great room sound..

It provides clearer crisper sound than my laptops speakers ever could alone, it feels and sounds like im hooked up to a real stereo system! Glad I did, they sound very good, at low, or high volume. They fill a 22' x 18' room very nicely. Great sound at a great price.

My only issue is that the sub needs a volume control, pehaps even a basic trimmer on the sub itself. You may have to use a media player with an eq if the bass is too strong. Other than that, the system sounds excellent for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not needed; awful looking The configurator made it seem as though we needed external speakers for the HP 27 AIO, but that PC has internal speakers which sound just fine, so I returned these unopened within the 21 day grace period. I had ordered the cheapest speakers available. I've no idea how well these perform, but boy, from the picture on the box they really look cheap! The web picture looks much better.

If I want to damp the bass response without damping the mid-treble, I have to do something like put a pillow over the subwoofer. That's why I rated it 4-star instead of 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from decent I got these Friday for one of the 2 new computers I ordered they do sound pretty good as have some others said there's no control for the bass but to me it's not a big deal my main gripe is the wired volume control I think they should've had the volume controls on the speaker themselves but otherwise they're a decent set of speakers however time will tell on their durability

As a result the deep base response is not restricted or muffled in any way. We are definately enjoying this product and its clear and resonate sound!

When I purchased the logitech speakers and listened to internet radio, I had everything I wanted, plus good quality sound. Excellent Buy.

The day I was able to get rid of my old clunky computer speaker system with subwoofer. I was so excited to install the Logitech Z313 sound speaker with subwoofer. The speaker system was lifeless. It had some sound coming from the dual speakers but the subwoofer was really disappointing. I tried all types of songs but there was very little base coming out. I reinstalled my old speakers and was excited to hear their vibrant tones again. I gave the Logitech Z313 away to a family member. If it would have been Christmas, I would have the perfect White Elephant gift. Please don't waste your hard earned bucks on this.

The subwoofer is nice and compact too not like my last one that was so big and heavy. Cons The wired control pod could have a longer wires but did end up velcrosing it to the top of the woofer...so it worked out just fine. Review I am so happy with my purchase of and would definitely recommend this system. 5 Star for sure for the price.

They have the perfect sound, even better than the 5.1 and the control pod makes these speakers even better. I would definitely recommend this product.

I did have a desktop speaker system, just two speakers, and it was 'so-so'. I can hardly believe how much better and how very good this system is! The bass is excellent and so is the treble and the midrange. It's hard to believe that such good sound is coming from my computer! I do recommend this system to anyone..you will not be sorry!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Audio Quality When I initially removed the speakers from the box and saw how small they were, I thought they would sound terrible. On other other hand, the sub-woofer appeared to be solid and well built, so I that gave me some hope. Wow! Was I surprised, the audio quality was phenomenal for such an inexpensive speaker system. I played big band, Motown, and classic jazz and thoroughly enjoyed each genre. Overall, I was amazed that mp3 music coming out of my computer speakers could sound so good. Setting up and installing the speakers was easy. The only complaint I have so far is the long wire that is connected to the speakers, which is used to control volume. I don't like that, I think the speaker volume switch should have been built into one of the speakers. Other than that one design flaw, I think you should buy this speaker system and see how premium audio can transform your computer experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY Bass Heavy The speakers are loud, that is not a problem, however even with an eq and the low frequencies reduced to near nothing the bass is still drowning out the sound from the side channels. I would not reccomend nor would I purchase again.
