A Great combo
Pros
I received my keyboard and mouse about two weeks ago. The setup and operation is easy and the performance was outstanding.I'm using this combo with a desktop so distance is not a big factor. Comparing this combo with another manufacture's wireless this keyboard outperformed it in every way. My spouse loves it and hated the other. Buy it you will love it. You will not be disapointed.

Good value for the price!
I often recommend these and some similar Logitech models to family & friends. I tell them these products hold up really well and are moderately priced. Sure you can get pricier models but those don't necessarily hold up any better and also if you do happen to spill something on it or break it they are easily replaced.
I usually wear the mouse out first and with the "unifying" receiver I can replace it without having to tie up another USB port.

Sync'd right away, responsive keys, poor paint on keys
The keyboard and mouse sync'd right away with the laptop/docking station. The little bluetooth usb plug-in sync'd from docking station with no problems. The keys are responsive while typing and have that nice "pop" to them.
The paint job on the keys (letters, numbers, etc...) is a bit blurry and looks cheap. It would be nice if the keys in 10-key portion of the keyboard were better defined. Often I move my hand there without looking. It's hard to know where my fingers are without looking.
Overall a nice keyboard that's worked well so far.

I received my kybd and mouse promptly (even without the expedited shipping) unboxed it, plugged it in and started typing away. This is a simple fix for too many cables. The receiver is plugged into the rear of my computer which sits under the table, it works flawlesly.

Our Go To Combo
I have ordered dozens of these combos for our company. They are the Go To combo for us due to pricing, value, durability, and features.
They hold up well to constant, heavy use and last for a very long time. The ergonomic structure of the keyboard makes it easy to use when typing.
A key function of this combo is the Unifying transceiver allows us to use multiple combos with a single transceiver. This is very important for us as we allow Associates to work from home and take another combo home, so two combos with one transceiver.

Perfect for the job
Love this combo. Though I would prefer my User's to have wired workstations, this has eased the pain of wireless devices in the office. Both keyboard and mouse work great and with Logitech UNifying software so easy to use most of my users are able to resync their device if anyone ever squats in their cube.

A solid and durable product to use. I never have connectivity issues once the unifying software is used. In addition the battery life for me lasts close to a year at time before needing to replace it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Obviously the wireless component is the best! Lots of freedom and no problems with the communication of the mouse or keyboard. The biggest con is that it really took a long time to get used to the mouse. I couldn't seem to control the cursor as well but it is getting easier. The keyboard on the other hand is not getting any easier. I am not sure why but can't seem to type as well. I make many more typos than usual so I am not quite as happy with it as my old hp keyboard.

Last time I tried working wireless mouse (ages ago) I did not like it and traded it in for a usb track ball mouse. This time, I'll keep my eye on the ball and give it a serious try. The keyboard is quite easier to use than the mouse (perhaps, I type more than click).

decent enough key board a bit high on the risers and a bit too low with out them but otherwise good for windows machines not for mac as the kew board is configured for windows hot keys. i have a mac so rated down to 3 rather than 4 stars.

Great experience with wireless keyboard and mouse
After several weeks of use of two sets of this product, I have been very impressed. Very good quality response from both the keyboard and the mouse. Firm, but smooth keys, and very smooth mouse movement and scroll-wheel. I use a laptop in two different docking locations and was happy that I could pair the single USB receiver in the laptop with both keyboard/mouse set-ups. I just move the laptop and each peripheral picks up without any re-pairing or swapping out of the receiver.

Sadly no longer Logitech loyal
I've been purchasing this keyboard mouse combo for close to a decade. Each time the quality drops a little. They have reached the point where the keyboard doesn't work correctly out of the box- some keys require special attention like pressing very hard or only from a certain angle to work. Sadly Logitech has become greedy and abandoned quality. I don't need the hassle of a return so I'll be looking for a different brand.

Great compo of keyboard and mouse on one USB antenna.
I like the addition of an on/off key on the keyboard (as well as the mouse). Very handy if tranporting.
The keys make a little bit of noise, as does the wheel on the mouse, but it works well at a very good bundled price.

Keyboard and mouse combo has one minor flaw. When pulling the tabs to activate the batteries, the plastic breaks below the battery hatch and the battery never makes contact. Took a minute to understand what happened.

I really like the combo set; however, it would be great if the mouse was true wireless and the keyboard used the receiver, this way I could leave the receiver in the port replicator and split with my Surface and mouse without having to take received along. Otherwise the devices perform well, and do what they're supposed to do.

I use the wireless keyboard/ mouse with my Dell Inspiron zino HD. I have the zino connected to my flat screen tv across the room, so the wireless is a huge plus. I was surprised about the distance that it would work.
A few things to be aware of, the keyboard is a little bigger than what I was expecting, and it is pretty easier to accidentally hit a couple of the pre-programed keys (i.e., the calculator button). With the mouse, I frequently use my pant leg or the arm of my recliner as my mouse pad, so lent easily builds up on the lens. So if you do not use a mouse pad, be aware that the lens with get fogged up with lent and need to be cleaned (q - tip works well).
Overall, a great product, no regrets and it is a good value.

Easy installation, media buttons work with ThinkPad T490s. Mouse is ONLY 3-button with scroll-wheel, which is sufficient for my needs. Full-size keyboard is larger than a laptop keyboard, so may take some time to acclimate, if that is what you're used too.

Within one month, one keyboard would not respond to the N or H keys, or spacebar. The other keyboard decided not to respond to the G, V, or T keys.

Nice feel to keys. Good size/weight keyboard (doesn't feel cheap like most do these days). Mouse tracks so fast it takes a minute or two to get used to after a slow one.
Unit came with a cosmetic problem. Sent an email with a picture to Logitech. They mailed a new unit. Wonderful customer service.

The optical works very well. The scrolling wheel is noisy. Not a huge deal but it might bother some.

Classic form and function for a good price
Just bought this keyboard and mouse for use with my new XPS and they've been great thus far. I'm not using them at a distance from the CPU/USB ports, so I don't know about range, but I love the feel of the keys on the keyboard. There's not a lot of extraneous keys or design features... the keyboard is classic and highly functional. The mouse is perfectly sized and comfortable for long usage. I'd definitely recommend this set for the price.

I have a previous version of the same wireless model, using it with Windows 7 professional for several years. Hoped to replace it with this newer version of the same wireless model, but it didn't work out for me. Sadly, when I type 100+ wpm it cannot keep up. No where close. I had to return it. Keyboard & Mouse Combo
The keyboard keys sit flush and allow for smooth typing as if you were typing on a laptop. The mouse is quite troublesome though. The sheer dynamics are designed as if you were using a gel support pad for your wrist. If you're not using the support pad then within a few hours you will start to feel the strain on your wrist from the steep dip the mouse forces your hand to take. Picture a hill with your mid-palm at the top of the hill. Your fingers face downwards and with every click it puts stress on your wrist. Great keyboard but terrible mouse design. With any marriage (combo) you have to take the good with the bad.

Logitech Wirieless Combo
Purchased several of these. Mouse is ergonomic in shape and the keyboard has just enough buttons to be useful without being crowded. Very comfortable and no connection issues to date. Works straight out of the box with Windows 7 Pro (x32 and x64) and Windows 10 Pro (x64).

Wireless Keyboard with a Caps Lock light!
We use these as a standard for any users that want wireless for standing desks, conference rooms, etc. Range is good, but doesn't like to connect at times if the batteries are around 50% and the dongle is plugged in under the desk. Just plug the dongle into the monitor instead, issue resolved.
Did I mention this wireless keyboard has a caps lock light? Because this is one of the few that do, at a sub $100 price point.

Great Keyboard/Mouse Combo Package
The keyboard has rounded edge keys with a great weight to them that makes typing on it feel great and standard key spacing overall for accurate typing. The function keys on the keyboard have dual use for a few random useful PC settings (normal F keys and options like Lock screen and PC Power options), though the calculator key right above the numpad seems to be the most useful key to me. The characters on the keys seem to be holding up to abuse, with little to no signs of fading.
The mouse has a good palm size and is fairly accurate on the right surfaces. I have tried it on multiple surfaces including shiny faux wood surfaces that many desks and tables have and have noticed that shiny smoother surfaces seem to reduce the accuracy a tiny bit, though it works a lot better than a older laser mouse that this mouse replaced. Most surfaces I have tried it on tend to work well, though if accuracy is needed, then I would still recommend using a cheap mouse pad though for optimal accuracy and response. The response time and tracking speed on the mouse to screen seems to be fairly good and on point when used on a optimal surface.
Battery life on the keyboard and mouse have lasted 5+ months of 8/9 hour days, 5 day weeks, with mid-heavy use on those days.
Overall, I think this is a fairly good package.

I needed more USB ports on my laptop for periferal devices. The MK520 system allows you to network several devices with the Logitek Unifying Receiver which only uses one USB port.
I have the Keyboard, Mouse, and External Drive all networked using only one USB port.

Cheap plastic, medium quality but does the job
The keyboard uses cheap plastic and the keys feels a little more slippery than what you'd get from a higher quality plastic. Keys are slightly textured, but somehow it still feels more slippery than other keyboards. However it works well and does the job. Mouse is good standard mouse. The nice thing about this combo is that they both connect to only one USB Bluetooth receiver, so if you are limited on USB ports this is a good option.

This product has a nice touch/feel to the keyboard.
The keyboard has a softer touch - meaning that you do not have to pound on the keys. I would recommend this product. The only thing that is missing is that there isn't a light indicator when the number lock is on/off.

Good, but with some drawbacks
The MK520 is a great idea for any office looking to provide their staff with a wireless option, Although there is a few issues with the combo for the most part the build quality is very good with decent keys for the keyboard although with slightly more mush then I personally prefer it does not seem to be much of a problem with the normal user; Overall the keyboard on it's own is a very good wireless keyboard with lots of extra function keys both dedicated and with the use of an 'FN' key.
The mouse included again feels very nice in the hand being ergonomic for both left and right handers with nice solid clicks on the buttons and a rubberized scroll wheel with good enough bumps to know when you do scroll.
All together it is a good pack but do be aware that the RF receiver has to be decently clothes to the mouse and keyboard or issues will happen; Aside from that it is one of the better combo packs you can get in the price range.

The keys are too close together and the number keys are stiff and too close together which causes a lot of missing numbers when doing a lot of postings in accounting. I would not recommend this keyboard.

Great basic keyboard and mouse with the essential features.
Happy with this keyboard and mouse so far. It has a decent weight and isn't too cheap feeling. It took me a few days to adjust to the longer key travel compared to my laptop, but I'm used to it now. The easy access buttons on top for volume I use frequently, and are handy. Also the calculator button is great!

The Unifying receiver is really small, so I always attach it. It make it possible to carry the mouse always with my laptop. In addition, when I need intensive writing I can use the large keyboard without bothered with the cables.

While I like the look and feel of the keyboard, it frequently loses the wireless connection to the PC. I have already replaced the batteries but that did not help. Is there way to turn up the wireless transmitted power on the keyboard?

The flexibility of having the extra keyboard and the wireless mouse is terrific. Super easy to plug in and instantly ready to go. Its great to be able to use them at odd angles and in unusual places, since I'm not always at a desk or table.
I forget to turn off the mouse sometimes, but so far the battery seems to have a pretty long life.

MK520 Keyboard/Mouse Combo
I needed to replace a K520 (key imprints were worn) and an M705 (no longer functioning). The combos I could find did not include the M705 which I liked very much. The new combo - K520/M310 works just fine but feels cheaper than my other K520 (on another PC) and my M705 on that other PC. Summary - my old K520 had a better feel and the 310 is not as good as the M705. But everything does work just fine as you would expect.

Solid Keyboard
This is the "in demand" keyboard for our quality department. They are on their computers all day inputting and managing data and collection points. This is the only keyboard they will use. I have yet to have one go bad outside of wear and tear, the keys markings never fade, and the features are a big time saver for the end users. For the price, you will be hard pressed to find better value.

I have purchased 30-40 of these for my company. They do a great job, but after a month my end-users started to complain about jitter and lag and such. After doing some research on the Logitech website, it seems this is a known issue. The mouse/keyboard use the default Microsoft USB mouse and keyboard drivers. Logitech resolution is to install the Unify software available on their website. It would be nice if this was included in the box as documentation or even a sticker. But since changing the driver over to the Unify software, I have not had a single complaint. Otherwise, it is a great Logitech product. :)

I have ordered probably over 100 of these and have found them to work extremely well. The mouse is a standard size, not one of the small ones that many sets come with. Logithech's unifying software is great, so you can program more than one keyboard/mouse set to a sing adapter. This allows users to have a set at home and a set at the job site without having to switch the adapter or use two USB ports.

Be warn - it doesn't work with the KVM switch!
It a nice wireless keyboard and mouse with the unified USB reciever. However I'm using the same keyboard and mouse with multiple computers through the KVM switch. You have to select different ports, i.e. switch between comuters, through the keyboard keys sequence, however the key sequence does NOT work with the wireless keyboard, so you cannot switch between computers. Looks like I will have to return the keyboard and mouse...

I bought the Logitech wireless mouse-keyboard combo on a special offered by Dell as it was very competitively priced for the features offered. I have been using this continuously for about 3 months (typically 6-8 hours per day) and it has performed extremely well. I have not noticed any interference or incorrect transmission of text from the keyboard to any computer application that I use (Office 365, CAD, Ansys, Internet). The AA batteries that were supplied have not required replacement to date.

Very unhappy with this product and considering just switching back to a wired model because it is so bad. I constantly have to wait on the mouses lagging movements if there is any lag on the load of a program or even a website. The movements are often choppy. The keyboard seems to go into some sleep mode where it often misses strokes during the first few words when I type. I will go to put in a password on a website block and it misses the first few letters. I go to type a Word doc and it picks up 2.5 words into the sentence I am typing. Overall, trash. Very, very disappointed. It was even hard to get through this review with no problems from the mouse.

Mouse is not comfortable, it is a bit small and narrow. Makes it hard to navigate easily with multiple screens. The keyboard has the expected function keys and has intuitive layout. The key texture is slippery. I do not recommend it for long typing, it is not comfortable.

This is an excellent wireless keyboard & mouse. I like the unifying dongle in the back to save a USB port. Just pluged the dongle in the back of my Dell Inspiron 620 ST & it WORKED. I like how it goes into power save mode when active for an extended period. Works great for my multi-media set-up in my living room.

don't know quite how to explain it but keyboard feel to close to one another.
Making lots of typos w/ this keyboard and has slowed me down.
with other keyboards, there is a clear separation between keys ( or at least that how it feels to me).

So the Keyboard and mouse are good/average but that is the great part about this setup they just get out of your way and let you get stuff done. The mice are a bit small for my liking but over all its not a bad deal and you will likely be pleased with it especially for businesses.

This keyboard is by far the noisier I have ever own. Every time I hit the keys they sound a lot. The keys are not soft and hard to press. I thought maybe it was defective, but my next cubicle partner and I got them at the same time and his is the same. One month into usage and the keys are beginning to fail.

When I started having a problem with my keyboard, my techie friend suggested I needed a new wireless keyboard and mouse. After researching many different brands, the Logitech MK520 stood out as the best value. The keys feel different, but after a few days, I think it's better than my old one. The mouse is very sensitive, but works well, with no problems. It has an on/off switch to save on battery use. All in all, I feel I made a great choice!

Superior Upgrade to provided white keyboard
Purchased this sturdy wireless keyboard and wireless mouse combo to replace the white chiclet wireless keyboard and wireless mouse that came with my recently purchased Dell All-in-One desktop. Love the desktop! But I was concerned that the included white accessories would get dirty quickly and were not as substantial as wired keyboard that I was used to on my 10 year old Dell desktop.
I like the feel of the keys and the black color (with silver trim) will stay attractive (rather than get dirty). Got the same quality I am used to in a desktop keyboard without the wire! And it stows nicely between the legs of the 27” All-in-One when not in use. A worthwhile replacement (for the included white accessories) that will be sure to last (as my previous 10yr old keyboard did).

For the price this combo can't be beat. The keyboard is fairly basic yet does have some shortcut keys. The mouse is model# M310, which of course is a great mouse by itself. Nice feel to the keyboard and is tilted just perfectly with the "feet" unfolded. The mouse is the perfect size for somewhat larger hands. Probably not for huge hands. So many mice are dinky little things and this is full size, so it cups perfectly in somewhat larger size hands. I have the USB receiver in the front of my desktop, only about a foot and half away from the keyboard and about a foot away from the mouse, so I haven't had any of the problems I read about with people having jumpy mice or lagging keyboards. For me, it was definitely worth the money. It also comes with a USB extension cable if you need to get the receiver closer to the keyboard/mouse. Overall a great buy. Logitech is always quality.

Disclaimer: I just got this keyboard today.
The good: I ordered this unit on a Saturday afternoon, choosing the free UPS ground option, and got it Tuesday morning. Can't do much better than that. Thank you, Dell!
The setup was so trivial that it took me 3 times as long to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything than did the actual setup. WARNING: The USB wireless dongle is *tiny* and easily missed. Don't throw it out!
This unit is attractive in a pared down black/silver style. I specially liked the look of the keyboard which has a transparent rim and rounded keys that is understated yet somehow classy. Logitech makes an illuminated version of this keyboard. It would be way cool if the rim lighted up. The picture doesn't do it justice. The mouse is also attractive with correct contours to fit a hand. The buttons and wheel have a positive, solid feel.
It works. No cables on my desktop! It works from the sofa across the room. I experienced no jerkiness or hesitation using the mouse, even from 10 feet away. I'm looking forward to watching videos from my couch when my big monitor arrives.
The bad:
Again, I'm just getting used to it, but there are some things that are bugging that I thought I'd pass along: The keyboard is very quiet and has a soft sound. Added to the rounded keys and fairly hard key return springs and the overall feeling of the keyboard is a bit heavy when touch typing. Also, the mouse seems a bit small for my men's large glove size hand. Should be perfect for smaller hands though.
Overall: Satisfied. Thanks to this unit I've cleaned a couple cables off my desk and can now control the computer from the couch for watching movies on my brand-new 24" monitor. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because I would have preferred a keyboard with a lighter touch and a crisper sound.

We use this combo set generally for all users who either insist or truly need wireless. Logitech is always dependable to work each time I set one up. Only problem we recently had was apparently a customer took the usb receiver from one of our users. Not sure why, but she had to be given a whole new set. I've never had a user call me to complain that mouse or keyboard don't work after changing the battery. I had that a lot with other brand products. That's why all my wireless keyboards and mice are only Logitech now.

If you want to waste time trying to get them to continually work. The keyboard I replaced was a wireless Logitech & it was awesome. I never had it stop typing on my because it gets stuck. Same with the mouse. Almost impossible to get it to where you want it to go. I took the signal from the back of the computer to a USB port on the front thinking maybe that would help. It hasn't. I would go back to the old one but the whole reason for it being replaced we're the keys started sticking really bad. I work on the computer all day & need my equipment to work with me. Sadly, it's now making everything more difficult. I do not recommend this set unless you enjoy fighting with things to work.

I ordered an Inspiron 2320 all in one. The keyboard mouse combo that came with it had to be replaced twice ( the numeric keypad did not work so I bought a Mk520 and it is a much better keyboard for about $10 more. I did have a problem with the num keypad at first but now working fine

Problems.
I've never had a problem with a Logitech Wireless Keyboard but, the one I received has problems communicating with the computer. It just stops typing, and the mouse won't move either. I'm not sure if it's the computer or the keyboard at this point. And, when speaking to my Dell represented about the problem, he acted like this has never happened to any of the Dell/Logitech computer and accessories. It's really frustrating at this point.

Excellent wireless keyboard and mouse
Highly recommend! I recently purchased this keyboard and mouse for use with my laptop and docking station. I simply installed the USB receiver and it worked right out of the box. Amazingly, they even included the necessary batteries! Excellent product!

Wireless keyboard & mouse
Was surprised at the smooth feel of the mouse & love the keyboard. It it easy to touch and feels rounded to your fingertips. Would buy from Dell again. They have regained my trust with these products!!

Design needs work
I am not at all happy with this keyboard. Most of the time I have no control over the arrow on the screen directed by the mouse. I have to keep clicking until an arrow will appear which tells me where on the page the arrow is located.
Sometimes when there is an internet page on the screen and when I wish to continue to the next screen I have to wait until the mouse and keyboard decide that they are ready to work.
I can be typing and look up to the screen and see nothing at all which I just typed. Sometimes the letters will appear, but there are letters lacking and I have to go back, remove the letters and words and retype them.
I thought that the problems might be attributed by weak batteries; however, I have introduced new batteries in both the keyboard and the mouse and the problems continue.

Easy to use and smooth action
This is a great easy to use simple key board and mouse. They plugged in and worked straight out of the box with out hassle. The battery life for each item is better than one year, our company has ordered many of these over the past few years.

Good, But Not Issue Free
The keyboard is great. No issues with it at all. The mouse periodically freezes for a few seconds. That is irritating! I've tried different USB ports, but it doesn't change the mouse lag. Otherwise, no issues.

Easy to Use, Works Very Well
You simply plug in and go. You can move room to room and it is still working. You can pop it into your other computer and it is up and running instantly.
Keyboard does take a little time to get adjusted although the size of it makes up for that. It is compact enough to fit on your desk and leave room for whatever else you are working on.
Great combo and I am glad I chose it. Not being a techy myself, you are at the mercy of the salespeople's suggestions. I asked "what would you tell me if I was your wife/daughter" then they have to think. Salesman recommended this and I am glad I tried.

Great Keyboard, with a Good Mouse
I purchased the MK520, after owning the MK320 notebook kit(with Mouse and Notebook stand)which, is considered an entry-level wireless keyboard .
The K520 keyboard works with a mini 2.4GHz USB wireless receiver which can be used with multiple wireless devices at once. The K520 offers a full-size layout, 128 bit encryption, and customization of FN keys, using Setpoint the software that allows you to customize, and see battery life. [My friend has had, one of these for over a year, and with daily use, is still on the set of batteries, which came with the combo kit!]
All letter & number keys, are curved, and let your fingertips know they are centered on the keys. They are responsive to touch, and nothing feels cheap about them[No excess wiggle or clacking. Only the Volume and Play/Pause, Rev, & Back, keys for controlling multimedia, standout, as thin rectangular shaped, are pewter colored and not curved. Comfort add-ons like the palm rest. makes for comfort during long hours of use.
The mouse, while only a 3 button model, is ergonomic. It fits the hand perfectly, and like the keyboard has an awesome battery life.
If the mouse were a 5 button mouse, I would have given it 5 stars!

Love it! Easy Installation

clunky. keyboard and mouse feel pretty cheap and not too responsive. I guess at this price point I shouldn't expect the mouse quality to be like their high-end versions, but that's what I'm used to and this combo is just OK.

I like the keyboard but the mouse seems a little cheap. The wheel is a little sticky and it isnt very smooth. Clicks hard. I have an old Logitech mouse and it is much heavier and is very smooth to use. Clicks very easy.

Very usable WIFI KB & mouse
Very seldom give 5-stars, product has to be MAGNIFICENT & STUPENDOUS
This keyboard is good, but not life changing or stupendous, so 4-stars. I actually wanted the ergo-keyboard w/ wristpad, but it was not available
good angle when open the feet, fairly good feel on the keys, I do not play games on this so responsiveness is not that critical - it is good however.
Immediately connected via wifi.
Integrated numeric keypad and separate arrow keys; was different than my other keyboard, so I had to make some minor adjustments to use this one, but nothing earth-shattering; I was able to adjust and am using keyboard effectively (or as effectively as I, personally, can use it)
Recommended for daily business use, would be nice if they had integrated wristpad.
KB included wireless mouse, which also immediately connected once I turned it on (I had thought it was on, but forgot to switch "on". works well,nothing fancy
Plastic seems a bit on cheap side for keyboard, but mouse has good feel, I do not plan on abusing either the KB or mouse, so they should last for a few years for me

I would definitely recommend 100% the Logitech Wireless Combo MK520. It works perfect for me.
Love this wireless combo keyboard K520 and mouse. Nice size, excellent quick response, the touch is light. Easy as plug and go.The keypresses are surprisingly quiet. The mouse is a good size and is ergonomically comfortable. No need to deal with wires. Overall a great solution that works perfect for me and I would definitely recommend this product 100%.

Bought this as a gift, and the recipient is very pleased. Both keyboard and mouse are compact but not small, with great feel. Very easy setup . . . but, note to Logitech - a little more explanation on the what and why of the unifying receiver would help. This step was almost missed by the person (average computer user) following the setup instructions.

good products but keyboard is noisy
the two work great in combination - the only issue is we were expecting flatter keys like the other logitech wireless keyboards we have. this one is more like the older pre-wireless keyboards an it makes a lot of noise when typing, just like the older ones did.

mouse works great and smoothly. keys on keyboard are a little stiff, but also connects easily and works fine. I like the pocket in the keyboard to store the bluetooth connector

MK520 - better than the old one
I had the LX710 keyboard/mouse combo for 2 years, no problems but I hated the usb connector. It was the large flash drive style. The smaller usb connector for this model is great and stores INSIDE the mouse - no chance of losing it like on some of the Microsoft ones! This model has an on/off button for the keyboard and mouse which is nice. Not that the batteries wore down quickly with the old (I think I changed them once in 2 years on the keyboard) but I like being able to turn everything off. I like the slide on/off button better than the hold for off that the old style had. My only complaint is that I do 10-key and the 0 key doesn't hit in the right spot for my fingers. Otherwise, super easy to hook up and GO!

I work for a company that deploys this keyboard and mouse combo to every employee.
This keyboard and mouse is a good, but has a few flaws. While, the keyboard and mouse is reliable most of the time, there has been several instances of the keyboard and mouse failing after just a month or two of use. When the product fails, we attempt to replace the batteries, and re-sync the keyboard and mouse, and nothing works -- they just quit working. Replacing the keyboard and mouse resolves the problem, so it definitely is a hardware issue, not a software issue.
From personal experience, the keyboard feels stiff, yet mushy, but I am coming from using an expensive mechanical keyboard at home. However, we do not experience complaints about this aspect from users.
The mouse works well, however, it does not come with the buttons on the side to go forward/backward in a browser, or file explorer, which I believe should come standard on any mouse.
Overall, I do believe this is a good value, specifically in a company that requires portability with peripherals. Our users seem mostly satisfied with the product.
