Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Build Quality Purchased the C1 65" in August of 2022 -- wonderful out the box. It was a 5-star product. The TV sat in place unused for a year while I was out of country. When I returned it still looked perfect for all of about 6 weeks before dead pixels began to appear in the far upper left, soon followed by the far upper right. Pixel refresh did not solve the issue. For $1,600 US I expected to be able to enjoy this TV for years to come. This was the last LG OLED to support black frame insertion at 120hz, the feature I bought this specific model for. Some research indicates dead pixels plague many of these panels. Thanks, LG.

Picture Quality is premium and the smart tv functionality is very intuitive and easy to use especially with the Microphone remote. Just traded up to the C3 77 inch... When I purchased this tv 18 months ago, I was blown away by the vibrant picture.  I have really enjoyed this tv until today.  Today, the day before the Super Bowl, the TV will not turn on.  I contacted LG customer support and they were not able to help me fix the TV with a hard reset.  They gave me a number for a repair technician that is 60 miles away.  Of course the TV is 6 months out of warranty.  We currently have a LG washer, dryer, and microwave and are very happy with them.  Unfortunately this experience with the TV is extremely disappointing.  I would have hoped that a TV this expensive would have lasted much, much longer.  The picture quality was amazing while it lasted.  The problem is it didn't last long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! TV died in 14 months Purchased this TV Nov 2022 and it died yesterday, two months after the manufacture warranty. LG customer service would not connect me for repairs because I had to go through the seller. Seller is not responding. Called LG back for assistance and they fell asleep on me over the phone. Will not be buying LG products in the future. Poor quality products and worse customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible experience I bought this TV in July 2021 and even with the UTMOST level of care, within less than a year there was a surge and lines showing on the panel. LG replaced it but less than a year later, the same thing happened and LG said I was out of luck on my warranty, even though it was more than likely a faulty power system. Will likely never buy an LG OLED ever again.

I added a sound system so I cannot speak to the sound quality. I use the smart features regularly. It is easy to go from one streaming service to another. I would recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update: Great while it lasted but didn't last long This is an update to my previous review.  I contacted customer support (again) as requested.  I spent 5 plus arduous hours sending in photos and videos troubleshooting my TV.  The analysis was what I already knew, the TV is broken and out of warranty.  I was told that I would have to "shoulder" the cost of repair.  The TV is just 18 months old.  I had already contacted a TV technician and he informed me that the panel has failed  and would not be cost effective to repair.  Advice, from a very disappointed LG customer is to avoid this TV model.  A quick google search will let you know that this model has been flawed from the beginning.  I was hoping that LG would take responsibility for this poor product and either offer to repair or replace this very expensive TV.  However I was offered a 15% coupon on my next LG purchase.  I declined the offer as I have purchased my last LG product.  The TV had a beautiful picture  during its short 18 months existence.  It is now just a very expensive boat anchor!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture out of the box My old LG Plasma finally died after 12 years and while it was a great display ,I'm so happy with my new 65" OLED C1, it has a beautiful picture right out of the box, and after putting some time on the EVO panel and some minor adjustments I couldn't be happier, just hope it lasts as long as my plasma did.

Enjoying movies, sports, streaming services like never before. So I am happy & satisfied with my purchase. I had some minor surgery a few days after purchase so I watched this set for many hours during its first month of service. Buy this set if U can still get one last years model.

In 3 months the 65 in got a line of pixels disappearing vertically across the screen. Both tvs will unpause themselves which is annoying. LG is working to fix issue under the 1 year warranty. I just hope they last as long as my last tvs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't imagine anything better than the LG C1 I am a 68 year old tech fan and amateur photographer. I have a fondness for visual arts and a pretty good eye. My last tv was a 2005 Panasonic Plasma and I loved it because the picture was more natural looking versus LED's of the time. I have had a few Samsung LED TVs and they were ok but not great, and I still preferred my Panasonic Plasma above all. That is until I bought the LG C1 65". I always thought that the picture was great in stores but I assumed they were displaying special high resolution programming and that I would not get that good of a picture at home. I decided to take a chance and WOW! The picture is as AWESOME in my house as it was in store. I have had it for several weeks now and have watched all sorts of content from low resolution to 4K from my streaming services to the LG Channels. I have not been disappointed NOT ONCE! The LG C1 was acclaimed as a great TV by some reviewers but I am always skeptical about what I see online until I have compared multiple sources including Consumer Reports. I can say with 100% confidence that most people will absolutely love the LG C1. I can gaze at the incredible images on this display for hours. I am completely satisfied with my purchase of the LG C1 and I can't imagine anything better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for gaming I bought the C1 about a year ago to use with my Xbox Series X. It offers great picture quality and allows me to get the most out of the higher frame rates the new generation of video game consoles are able to achieve. No issues burn-in even after multi-hour gaming sessions and regular use. So far, the only downside seems to be with the audio. I typically use a headset for gaming, so not a factor there, but I've found myself having to frequently adjust the volume when watching some movies. Nothing terrible, and part of the issue may be the movies themselves, but if I had to find a fault, that would be it. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

The picture quality is great--high definition plasma with better colors, lighter weight, less energy consumption, and vastly better software. I was blown away when I called for help on a sound setting with my HT system and the tech was able to remote into the set (like a computer) and change the settings for me.

After 1 week of use a green vertical line appeared from bottom to top of the 83 inch screen. I have called LG probably about 8 or 9 times trying to get it repaired under warranty. LG told me they would repair however no repair men in my area so, they were sending it out nationally. Last update about a week ago and I was told they are either going to replace or refund my purchase and still haven't heard back from them. I really just want the TV working as it should and not have to go through the hassle of getting a refund and getting another TV. When the TV worked without the green line it is gorgeous and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Now I just want it fixed so that I can enjoy sports and movies as I did for the 1 week without the cursed green line. If you buy this TV and it doesn't have the darn line you will absolutely LOVE it. I would be more than happy to give the TV 5 Stars if it worked without the line distracting me.

The size is perfect for our viewing distance and I am unable to see any reflection during daytime. The colors are vibrant and the hdr effect is awesome. I had to tweak the picture settings; chose standard picture mode and tweaked the settings. Works seamlessly with Apple TV and Onkyo sound system. The TV stand is on the heavier side but the stability is excellent. Only good things to say!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PC gamer using this as primary display At the time of this review I have 1373 hours on this panel in roughly 4 months of owning it. I have thoroughly enjoying using this panel as my daily driver for all my screen time. This is my first Oled in the home. I have stared at them for hours at store displays but the richness of the blacks never really hit me until I got one in my cave. For my setup of sitting rather close, direct viewing angle and in a dark room; This TV rocks. The colors and 120 refresh rate really stepped up how great my games and movies look. If you are looking at this for gaming there are some nice built in gaming features like Gsync and FreeSync. Picture wise I could go on for days as a gaming panel because it looks and does exactly what I was looking for. Quality 1440p gaming up to 120fps with amazing colors and blacks. Let me get over a few things that I don't like. LG's operating system is not my favorite. It feels sluggish, cluttered and never very user friendly for navigation. The integration with Google Home is buggy and not as fluid as I hoped. The internal speaks do leave something to be desired for sure. Not a huge problem for me because I tend to wear noise cancelling earbuds or headphones almost all the time, even when home. If you intend to use this like a normal person, I highly suggest a external sound system. Even if the external sound is just a sound bar. I have the TV tabletop mounted but it is very close to the wall; So I have tried the wall mounted and tabletop mounted setting for the internal speakers. Neither really improve the sound when I am not using external sound.

I wish I could watch more on the 65 but it has burn I’m problems. Less than 5 yrs and I have to replace it with this piece of crap.

DONT GET ME WRONG THE SAMSUNG QN85A-90A ARE GREAT AS WELL BUT THE OLEDS STAND OUT FAR MORE WITH IMMERSIVE COLORS. NOT MUCH OF A GAMER BUT I ALSO INSTALLED A SAMSUNG HW Q990B SOUNDBAR WHICH IS 11.1.4 CHANNELS THEY WORK SEEMLESSLY TOGETHER WITH HDMI 2.1 EARC CONNECTION. BETWEEN STREAMING AND DIRECTV AND A BLUE RAY PLAYER WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS. SETUP WAS VERY EASY BUT YOU NEED TWO PEOPLE WHO CAN HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE TV AND STAND. MIGHT SUGGEST WHOMEVER YOU PURCHASE FROM GET THEM TO HELP. OVERALL I BELIEVE THIS TV TO BE A GREAT PURCHASE

While I couple of better deals showed up in the two weeks after I bought it, I still have no regrets. It is simple the best looking TV I have ever owned, and it is perfect for next-gen gaming, which is the main reason I bought it. I took some time to dial in the best settings, and off I went. I am in love, and will be for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything that they say about OLED is true! We were looking to upgrade our 9 year old TV and couldn't decide what new technology to go with. My wife just wasn't on board with spending the money unless it really was a discernible difference in quality. After taking a trip to CostCo and seeing the displays side by side, she was able to clearly see the difference and couldn't see us getting anything else. Overall, I'm SUPER pleased. Only downside is that it can be difficult to watch any dark movies or TV shows during the daytime, as the screen's brightness is optimized for low light environments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best TV This TV was the ultimate purchase companion to my new Xbox Series X. Being able to use all of the features both have available is a freeing experience. The deep blacks made for an impressive movie experience with an animated feature called Redline. This anime starts from black instead of from white(like a sheet of paper) so an OLED is the ideal medium to truly enjoy the film. The colors pop in an almost immersive fashion.

Not only is it the perfect size for our living room space, but the picture is so clear and natural that we often feel like we are actually in the production. We feel like we can reach out and touch the characters and the trees, feel the running waters, and eat the tasty looking food. We really love this television!

The picture is astounding … best I have ever seen and the blacks/contrast are just amazing. The apps are a bit clunky to navigate but you get used to it… that would be my only criticism at all.

It's a well-rounded product. You get excellent Dolby features, a high refresh rate (which was something I was really excited about), and a lot of input ports for other devices. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and if you are looking in the market for a brand-new smart TV. This should be your choice. Many before me have given it great reviews and I can say they weren't lying. Great for the living room or for the bedroom. You won't be disappointed.

Thought it couldn't get any better until I started playing Microsoft Flight Simulator on it in 4K. It is unreal how lifelike the TV is. I am not used to such image quality. Well worth it.

Initial setup for LG connectivity when 3rd party wireless streaming device (eg Roku or AppleTv) is poor and can be smarter 3. Visual results from voice search can be much better displayed

I have not been able to sync the voices with the mouth after contacting LG numerous times for assistance. The remote control does not have a channel BACK Button and the list of shows does not give details for particular shows.

It’s funny to watch an episode of Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon, enjoy it and then go on Reddit and see everyone complaining about how dark it was; I never noticed. Unfortunately LG feels the need to introduce a never ending stream of new advertisements to the WebOS platform with every update. When you buy a premium TV you don’t expect it to constantly find new ways to cover your desired content with ads that weren’t there yesterday. While as a TV it is the absolute best on the market I simply cannot recommend it to anyone in good conscience due to its transformation from my personal TV to a run of the mill roadside billboard mounted in my living room over the last year.

The picture quality is incredible, its stand is very secure, and the contrast blows my mind. It’s a little on the pricier side but if you are patient many stores will have deals throughout the year, and it’s absolutely worth it. It has so many great features (the remote is point and click like a wii remote, and the UI is great), and the sound quality is very impressive with a plethora of settings. I use it a lot for gaming and it’s impressive the frame rate and picture quality I can get out of it.

My old 55" 3d LG (I had for 12 years before it died) had two remotes (1 magic motion & 1 feature filled) were much better then the current one thsat came with my new tv.

Replaced an 8 year old curved top of the line Samsung and there is no comparison when it comes to picture... this LG is just as good as it gets. The blacks are so good, picture clarity is amazing. Can't say enough about it. The app navigation is a bit clunky... long line of apps and not that intuitive to search out the "non-seeded" ones but its ok once you get used to it. Can't say anything about the sound... I am a firm believer in using a soundbar (and paired mine with one).

It’s an easy placeholder for the eventual 97” Home Theater upgrade to come once prices land at working class affordability. Until then a tv with 120fps gaming ability was needed and the LG OLED family is the best among competitors in the high end tv market so it’s a no brainer to stat in the family & grab a purchase. If you want a high end tv with premium 4k resolution, the latest gaming features, and top tier picture processing, you need an LG OLED.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 65" C1 OLED I bought the C1 instead of the cheaper A1 because I have a PS5 and want the 120hz refresh rate. My previous TV was also an LG LED TV and I was very disappointed when the $400 TV's LEDs turned blue in less than 2 years. I guess you get what you pay for but still. So, I decided to spend more and upgrade to the OLED technology. I paid around $1600. I use a sound bar and stream through an Apple TV 4K so I don't have much of an opinion on the smart capabilities or the sound from the TV itself. I did mark them excellent but I can't really give a strong opinion because I don't use them. What I do love is the picture. It is simply amazing. The blacks are so dark I can watch the House of Dragons scenes and actually make out all the things that are going on. The game play on the PS5 is spectacular. Simply put, I'm glad I pushed up my budget and bought this gem.

I like the narrow profile of teh monitor. The base is also very stable. The sound is much better than I had expected. I have a sound bar, but I'm using that on my other TV instead of the LG. The LG speakers are excellent on their own. I like the ergonomics of the remote control as well. The LG channels are a bonus, too. I haven't watched many of them, but I plan to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best tv i’ve seen in person hands down i absolutely love this tv!! the picture is far and above the best i’ve personally seen in person. it’s scary thin, i was honestly a little scared to handle it because of how thin it is. really surprised at how good the picture looks at wide viewing angles. setup was quick and painless. it was easy to make adjustments to the picture or just browse the menu options in general. this tv was purchased for gaming primarily in mind and has not disappointed. only downside i’ve found( and it maybe user error) is adding antenna tv to the quick buttons doesn’t allow for antenna tv in general but a specific channel only. i would definitely recommend this tv and would absolutely buy again

After almost one year, horizontal lines appeared. Customer support issue a repair and after 9 business day a 3rd party replace the panel which is covered by warranty for 1 year. Good as new again. Hopefully, no problems show up before we extend the warranty. My brother have the previous year model but no issue after 2 years, that's why we made a decision to purchase this LG OLED.

I have tried contacting customer service several times and have been given the run around until I was out of warranty. I now have a line down the center of my very expensive tv. I was also disappointed that this tv does not have a screen in screen option to watch multiple games at once. Sadly, based on the customer service I would not recommend.

My one complaint is using my sonos sound bar with the eARC. Changing the volume it doesn’t show the number of volume instead it just gives a plus or minus. I like know what volume I’m at.

I can't quite describe the absolute beauty of this machine. Everytime someone new comes over they are blown away at the difference in picture quality. The picture is stunning with the OLED panel and HDR leading to some of the most vibrant colors and deepest blacks I've ever seen on a screen. There was an issue with vertical banding on the screen when the TV first came out of the box but this resolved easily after leaving the TV unplugged for a few hours. The gyro aiming with the remote makes navigating the smart features easier than ever, and the UI for the smart features is very intuitive and clean. A great TV that any gaming or movie enthusiast will enjoy.

Well I'm here to tell you that what they were saying was an under statement. The TV is so thin and the border Bezel is almost non existent. The setup was very easy and automatically identified my cable box without any prompting. The out-of-box picture settings were perfect. We love "Clear Voice Pro" for sound and "Game Optimizer" for picture settings. We found absolutely no reason to add a sound bar. Works during the day for bright room and excellent at night for movies etc. It's like being at the drive-in once again.

Many of my friends have experienced the TV with me and were so impressed that they had to purchase one also! I purchased the set from Best Buy in Eatontown, NJ. The only problem, which hasn't been rectified is the terrible remote control. It is not backlit and it is very difficult to see the symbols on the buttons in a dim room. It would be nice if LG would upgrade the remote. A great TV should have a great remote. The TV itself is very sturdy and handsome and was easy to set up. Spectacular addition to my home! I love it!

I had to adjust the brightness a little bit as it seemed a bit 'dark' to me, but then again I'm 69yrs old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. I was using a sound bar with my previous tv but have found that the sound from this tv is very nearly as good as the old sound bar. Overall I am very happy with my new LG OLED TV.

I was hesitnt but very happy with the decision to get it. Setup for apps was REALLY nice. Just pick your apps and let it rip and it installs them all. I got a sound bar, but I must say the sound from the TV itself was very impressive. It sounded like there were speakers to far left and right. I went ahead and got rid of our other surround sound system.

My previous TV was a plasma so I was worried that the new TV would have more motion blur, but it hasn't been an issue at all. The interface is pretty easy to navigate and the magic remote is nice once you get used to it. But the best thing about is the great color and detail.

Now my tv turned off by itself a year and 3 weeks after I bought it and hasn't turned back on again. The tech came over and told me that it looks like the panel died. I don't know if they going to replace the tv for a new one or they going to fix it. It is very upsetting. A tv this expensive shouldn't last a year.

Geek squad has changed mother board twice, changed settings multiple times with NO change. Even the repair guy LG sent out cant fix it! So why can't I get a refund? I've done everything LG has asked,why won't they give a refund?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was nice So here's the skinny, this LG OLED tv is absolutely amazing, bar none. The downside is I only had it since May 2022 and the screen developed a black/white line in it. It is right in the middle of the screen unfortunately. I am currently in the process with LG in attaining a service tech to come out. They are actually coming out tomorrow. I am hoping this tv in particular was just flawed and this won't be an ongoing issue, after the tv is repaired or replaced. Objectively speaking, minus my poor experience, the tv's picture quality is crazy. All the colors are amazing and the dark contrast is also very impressive. Customer service has been excellent so far, so we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!

All in all repaired and works great. Was disappointed when it went out. LG suppose to be a good brand. Tv was out a month.

I'm a big gamer and it checks all the boxes. It has hdmi 2.1 so it will connect to all the new Xbox and Playstation consoles. No latency and gamer mode is perfect. It's definitely my dream television. Just buy it.

Horrible Features I love most everything about my new LG OLED 65" TV except for the fact that EVERY time I turn it on it wants to runs a series of advertisements on the bottom of my screen. I can find no way to turn this off and it is infuriating. Also, it offers an upgrade that you have to decline or accept EVERY pretty much every time you power up. Add to that the fact that pretty much every auto adjust feature for the picture has to be turned off in order to prevent annoying short blackouts and screen dims after no activity or subtle room lighting changes,

I went onto LG website and fill out a repair request and in a few days the guy came out and took a look to see what part to order. Then a few days later the part came in they set up a time and came and replaced the part. It took them 35 minutes and they were fast and very professional.

Power cord and power outlets are not the issue. What's even more infuriating is that the warranty was up after only 1 year. This is the 2nd time I've had a major issue with LG tv's. Won't be purchasing an LG TV again. Buying a TV like this, you would think that the TV would last for a long time. Pretty terrible that they manfuacture TV's to have such a short lifespan. Sound quality is okay on this TV.

Whenever I use a soundbar, no matter which one, the sound that is exported from the HDMI eARC sounds terrible. I’ve contacted two different soundbar companies, and sound quality remains crackled through vocals. I tried different settings, and nothing changed. I tried to contact customer support and nothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED was nice while it lasted I bought this TV over 18 months ago before horizontal stripes began to appear on the screen. Unfortunately warranty ends after 1 year. This our 3rd LG OLED TV and was the only one to have this problem. The TV gets used max of 3 hours a day, and only about 8 hours total per week. We have all safety setting enabled to prevent burn-in so I don't know what the issue was.

The design is simple and straightforward but I wish there wasnt nearly as many ads on screen for such an expensive TV. The base is a love/hate relationship as it is incredibly sturdy but also make any movement a chore due to the weight.

Gives a beautiful pcture and sound is decent. did have an issue with line but problem has seemed to disappear after running built in OLED care and checking for plastic that may cause overheating. would give 5 stars but can't connect to LG app ever since changing internet service providers even after resetting tv and removing info from app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read the FINE Print Carefully Until April 14, 2023, 15 months after purchase and well within the tag line advertised LG USA AUTHORIZED 2 Year Extended Protection Plan, this LG OLED TV, Model # OLED 65 C1 PUB TV developed a bright white line from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen approximately 10 inches in from the right side. Hours long phone calls with LG Service Technicians, supervisors, Amazon Logistics supervisors etc etc etc resulted in no repair and a denial by LG and Amazon regarding the reality of the extended protection plan (warranty) noted on the tag line for the product on the AMAZON order page. Promises by Amazon Logistics supervisor to call every day until the issue is resolved have resulted in absolutely NO phone calls.

Apps- 6.8/10 has major streaming apps but if you want ESPN, NFL, or other specific streaming apps, you may need to get a firestick or Roku. Except the fact that after 14 months it started to have a thin vertical line and after a couple days now it won’t turn on at all. I would think for a meaty 2000 dollar tv it would have a warranty longer than a year. But it don’t. As for the tv, it’s by far the best out there! Amazing picture quality and even better for gaming. The sound is impressive! All the AI features are a must have! I hope to get it fixed soon.

I've been an LG fanboy for a long time. My original LCD 47" was purchases in 2008 and it is still going. So the quality of LG and then being an OLED, I shouldn't have to buy another big screen in 10+ years.

Lots of customization, nice remote and great gaming features. Slightly worried about potential burn-in with OLEDs but it does have some nifty features to help prevent it, so hopefully it won't be an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mark of greatness I researched and geeked out on the purchase of LG C-1 OLED television .I loved this TV and loved that after a year and a half it was still rated as best tv to buy.after a year and a half we turned on tv to find horizontal lines across screen.We did all the troubleshooting stuff to make sure it wasn't something simple and found it was a panel that was bad.A rare event for these units but however in talking with LG they decided on courtesy repair.They called and scheduled a local company to come out and repair my tv.Im sure it will be fine and done soon.Local company has already called and is ordering parts. What I want to emphasize is that it's hard to know a company well until something goes wrong,then the learning begins. I'll tell you true this company has been upfront,direct and has treated me kindly and with respect even though I was out of warrentee.I give them kudos for listening and acting in a manor which promotes my continued interest in all things LG. Do they make cars?just kidding.5 stars you folks.

It worked great until about 3 weeks ago when a vertical line as thin as a hair showed up down the middle of the screen. Contacted LG,they put me in contact with a repair technician. Talked to him on the phone,told he what was going on,said he needed to order a new panel. Took about a week for him to get get. Came out day after he got it and installed the new panel in about 30 minutes. Working great! I have bought many LG TVs in the past and loved them. This is the 1st time I have ever had a issue,and they took care of it. I would highly recommend this TV.

I have called LG support about 4 times on a a feature using the control to get any meta data that may pop up for a movie, tv show BUT LG support did not know anything about the feature

That said I was supplied with a new remote with few questions asked as none the LG scripts worked. It appears there is a software issue between the LG sound bar and tv! It took me a while to figure this out but just a warning is that LG support does not understand this issue. A great setup just an FYI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG 65” OLED fantastic yet again! Bought this LG OLED 65" C1 model to replace my 5 year old LG OLED 65" B7P model and love the upgrade. As usual the picture quality is top notch, befitting what is generally considered to be the best overall 65" TV in its class. I have 4 different LG OLEDs, originally 2017/18/19/20, and now 2018/19/20/21. The WebOS interface on this 2021 C1 model is a big improvement over the older interface, and adding any streaming app is simple. My kids love the Game Optimizer setting that automatically kicks on when they are using their PS5. Movies and TV shows benefit greatly from the Dolby Atmos sound, although as with any TV the internal speakers don't have the oomph of an external speaker system and a dedicated subwoofer. I also love the newer magic remote with the dedicated NetFlix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and LG Apps buttons. All in all a great upgrade over my 2017 model, and the LG OLED continues to impress.

The entire flat screen and a part in the back just died while watching. Replaced for free, under warranty, just the flat screen and part. Glad I got an extended warranty because their repairman said this was a common issue. Other than that, beautiful pic. My concern is WE had to call the repairman after he did not contact us and we knew as well as he did, parts were shipped and no appt set. Once parts arrived, we had to contact him and LG to get him moving. Once he came out, he saw more than what he thought was wrong and we went through the process again. Lost tv for a month!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problems After Only 16 Months All of a sudden, for no reason, red vertical line appeared in my television and after troubleshooting it, it wouldn’t go away. Outreached to LG the manufacturer, I told them I was already passed the one-year warranty. But they gave me hope that they’d help, and that turned into the runaround for 5-days, asked me to troubleshoot it, and send all kinds of proof of purchase, and then told me it was out of warranty so they couldn’t do anything to help. I’d buy another brand that won’t break after 16 months and leave you high and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non existent customer service My c1 83” panel has ripple or uneven surface on my panel had two technicians look at it a both day panal is delaminating and is not repairable lg customer service is worthless they say that is normal but none of the display Oled tvs show any signs of this problem and my was fine when I first got it this is an expensive tv and is unacceptable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED was nice while it lasted I bought this TV over 18 months ago before horizontal stripes began to appear on the screen. Unfortunately warranty ends after 1 year. This our 3rd LG OLED TV and was the only one to have this problem. The TV gets used max of 3 hours a day, and only about 8 hours total per week. We have all safety setting enabled to prevent burn-in so I don't know what the issue was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AVOID LG OLED TVs in the Seattle Area Have 2 LG OLED TVs and have had nothing but problems with this model. Initially, the TV had issues powering off and then back on randomly. Then after less than a year of use, I have faint horizontal lines on both sides of the TV that are viewable during brighter scenes. Now after 2 years of use, the TV will not stay on for longer than 60 seconds. Have followed all directions online for hard rebooting, factory resetting, turning off timer settings, no SIMPLINK or Quickstart either. In order for my CC Extended Coverage Warranty to kick in, I need an LG Authorized Repair company to diagnose the TV, but the number provided for National Service always goes straight to Voicemail, and online chat reps give me a local appliance dealer that doesn't service TVs and then say that there are no Authorized Repair companies in the Seattle area. If you are in this area, avoid this TV and Company or get a warranty through the Business that has a no questions asked policy (Costco, Best Buy) as LG will not help you and doesn't seem to care you are out thousands of dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our TV was a lemon. Hope yours isn't. The TV was a lemon. Corduroy-like Lines developed across the screen at about 11 months. By the time I called customer service the 1 year warranty was up. There was no help from LG. Eventually a bright white vertical line showed up on left side of TV. Despite this annoyance we could still watch the TV. At 18 months the TV began to shut off repeatedly. Eventually it would not stay on for longer than 2 minutes. The $2K TV was unusable, and it was less than 2 years old.

I called customer service and they could not do anything for me and I also emailed the president waiting to hear back. here your motto please honor your product! We value YOU. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used to be great. But now I distrust this brand. We have had this TV for two years. In that time we now have lines developing on the side of the TV that are only fixed by squeezing the bottom left hand of the TV. It looks as though this is a known hardware issue. When we had called LG support they put us in contact with two vendors that could repair the damage the TV shipped with as it is a known problem with this TV (we did not know this and would have not have bought if it was known then). The vendors told us they are unable to replace it so we are left with no way to fix the TV. The TV is fantastic otherwise but for the price it dying in 2 years is unacceptable and makes me hesitant to buy from LG again given the lackluster support and faulty product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive piece of junk Most expensive and worst TV I have ever bought. Less than 18 months old and it has become useless. LG service has told me I need to find my own technician to repair it. I have bought many much cheaper TV’s that have lasted many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pactch laking I have had the Lg C1 since 21. it was a big step up from my old Plasma. Only issue i have is the the auto dimming in dark scene. It seems to have been patched in the C2 and C3. But no updates for a known issue for the C1. other than that pretty solid device.
