Works great !!
I bought this LG portable Blu-Ray as an upgrade from an older one. This one loads disks fast and provides outstanding video and audio. I highly recommend this Blu-Ray portable player.

When it works, it works great...
...and when it doesn't work, it doesn't indicate anything is amiss. It simply refuses to do anything.
About half the blueray disks I've tried in it, it reads fine.
The other half of the disks, it does not acknowledge exist. No error messages. This is even true for pristine "straight from the factory" disks.
I could understand if the drive were defective, and errors were produced...
...or if the disk were defective in some way, and errors were produced...
...but I'm not getting any feedback at all from the drive.
Is there a problem with the drive? With the disks? With drivers? Is the operator at fault? Is it an unsupported media format? What about firmware?
I can't even tell if my firmware is up to date - the support pages don't list this drive.
Looking for support options on the webpage for it from the manufacturer takes me away from the page for the drive to a "select your product" page that doesn't include the drive I was just looking at.

Pleasant Surprise.
Use for studies and for education and fun. It has worked easy and quickly. Searched for updates on startup. Easy to move around and put out of the way. Plays well and is very handy. Have LG Drier and its has been nothing but a joy for three years. Thought to give this a try.

Doesn't work
My friend got me this Blu-ray player for Christmas and it doesn't work at all. I've tried everything, to no avail. What's the point of this product?

Warranty Replace
Just started to malfunction and luckily I still was under a year. The service was great just had to pay 4 shipping. Works like a CHARM!! No problems with shipment at all!! Thanks LG
