It set up and it`s wireless feature connected to my laptop and iphone easily with the app. It was set up in five minutes, and has worked well since. Troublefree so far. I have only used the product to print black and white text so am not able to comment more about the printer`s performance. The printed is already low on ink, and the started ink seems to be a very small amount.

The set up was easy albeit a little different as it required the user to install an app on your phone that took care of setting up with wireless connection and password. This was in lieu of using the CD ROM that was supplied. The team using the printer all have laptops that do not have CDROM drives. All the Mac and Chrome books were able to print to the device without any difficulty. The print quality, both black and white and color, is good though I have yet to see how it does with photos. I'm assuming that the ink cartridges were "starters" since after only two part-time people using the printer for two days (not heavy print users) ran out of black ink already. If the page yield of 1,500 pages for a $65 black cartridge at $.04/page is accurate, that would be great.

The printer itself works as expected, and the color is vivid and prints rather quickly (even double sided). It connects to wifi and comes with an app for mobile devices as well.It did, however, take 2 days to get set up. Keep in mind, I`m not a PC user, so the website has very no materials to help with installation via my model and, to boot, I couldn`t use the disc that came with it because my computer wasn`t made before 2013. The customer support chat people weren`t helpful, and I finally got things set up by calling the help line (it took about 45 minutes to get things sorted finally, which included me just finding the Lexmark driver in the app store).It rather large and bulky for a home office or small office, and quite heavy as well. I would have preferred something more compact.

Out of the box, the printer was very easy to set-up (both hardware and software) and connect to my wi-fi. I haven't had any issues with it disconnecting as I print wirelessly. Print speed is fast and the quality is great. I test printed both photos and regular documents (1 and 2-sided). This is a great printer for a small business.

This laser printer will print a lot and still have an abundance of ink left over as the cartridges that it uses are larger than a typical home printer, this helps for someone like me that is a part-time student and needs to print out a lot of things. I currently own an all in one and the ink runs out so fast. The instructions to set up were very clear and have pictures to guide you on each step, there is also an online guide to use and download the user manual in order to understand how to use the touchscreen menu on the front of printer, I had a bit of an issue with downloading the printer driver but eventually got it printing, the online guide could be a bit frustrating to navigate if you are not the most computer tech savvy. My favorite feature is that you do not have to fumble with the paper tray in order to print envelopes or labels and can simply adjust with a lever in just above the main paper tray and simply feed paper into the slit and tested this several times and had only 1 issue with a slight jam with labels but was fine after. The only con with this printer would be it only prints and does not have the function to scan/copy, which is what my household currently has in our home. But for a small home office or for a student or someone that needs a printer that can stand up to printing a lot this would be a perfect model for that and I will definitely be using this alongside my current all in one printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Out of the box set-up was quite easy with the picture instructions. After completing the set-up with the provided disk, it was not operational. Once calling support, I learned that I had to install a print driver, which was not very clear in the provided instructions. In fact, the set-up relied too much on the "Mobile App" tutorial, that was not very helpful. However, after 20 minutes on the phone with a helpful representative, I was able to start printing. The print speed is fast and very clear for both b/w and color print jobs. The two-sided print function is very nice as well (and just as fast). The printer itself is compact for its side and is heavy at about 35 pounds. While I use this printer in my home office, I can print from anywhere with it's wireless option. It also have a power save function (automatic) that turns itself off after about 10 minutes of inactivity. Overall, I look forward to using this printer for my business, school and personal needs, feeling very confident it will be able to handle anything I throw at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This Lexmark has been a big upgrade for me. I was using a small home use printer. I do run a small business from my home, but never felt I could accommodate a business style printer in my home. Well, I was wrong. I was amazed at how compact this printer is and at the same time powerful and fast. Assembly was a breeze. From taking it out of the box to printing my first page was about 20 minutes. I was also surprised at how fast it prints. The quality was great, bold and clear. My only difficulty came when I switched from regular printer paper to printing labels. The label paper is slick on the back side and the first two sheets I tried did not want to get picked up by the spool. So, I had to take out the labels and `fan` the sheets. After doing this the label paper got picked up by the spools and printed just fine. This printer has changed my mind in favor of having a business printer. Overall, I am very happy with this printer, especially the speed. Thank you, Lexmark.

They should include either a CD or more likely a link that automatically downloads and runs through the installation process. It also wasn't intuitive how to connect it either to my wi-fi or ethernet (both processes have been easier with my previous printers)

Unlike a lot of printers, it comes with all of the toner you need (to start with, anyway) which greatly reduces initial costs depending on your level of use. Perfect for a SOHO environment!

I was also unable to print from my laptop on the same wifi network. it works great with USB but not wirelessly. And that is a bummer, if I have to call technical supp for this. I expected it to be a little more seamless

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be Careful What You Wish For---You May Not Get It Although this printer was properly installed by a trained person from a commercial organization, half the time it doesn't work when I send something to print. I frequently have to pull the power cord out, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in. This is inexcusable in a brand-new printer. Recently I wanted to print out a head shot of my granddaughter. The printer display told me "memory full." I haven't received a message like that since 1990, when I bought my very first laser printer. I am extremely disappointed in this printer to the point of asking my son to give me back my old printer so he can take this one.
