Rated 5 out of 5 bypuddleman from You can't go wrong with the X seriesThe X1 Extreme is simply an amazing machine! Blazing fast speed with an awesome display (opted for 4K glossy). This is an upgrade to my previous P51S workstation (which I loved) and there is a noticeable difference. All Adobe apps run smoothly with vibrant outputs. I also run pro audio and video apps (Vegas and Sound Forge). At one point, I was debating switching to mac... there simply is no reason to do that with Lenovo machines. Macs just can't compete. I'm a proud owner of a P510 workstation desktop and the X1 Extreme. I also use an X1 gen 4 Yoga for work... most of my colleagues have since switched over to Lenovo machines.

I especially like the X1 Extreme’s lightning speed, quietness, light weight and professional looking and feeling. It is about half the weight of our T520i and lighter than my old Thinkpad Yoga (stolen. The camera cover is a very useful feature, too. I have also turned on the “find my device” function, hope this time I will not lose it forever.

I've been using the laptop for a week now and love everything about it. The design looks great make you feel a like a professional. For a powerful laptop it's actually pretty slim and weight in under 4 lbs. I have the full HD display model and the battery is great. Oh I can't forget about the keyboard. Everything good you heard about the keyboard is spot-on. Its the best keyword by far I ever use on any laptop or desktop for that matter, it's that good.

Rated 5 out of 5 byLenovo Alex from T520 to X1 ExtremeI previously owned a T520 that I got back in 2012. I loved that machine and wasn't sure how the new models would compare. I really like the reduced weight and the improved keyboard and track pad. My main navigation tool is the track point and corresponding buttons which are not as responsive as my old T520 but the are workable so it doesn't ruin the experience for me. The vastly improved memory and upgrade from a hard disk to an SSD is incredible and the performance boost is huge.

Rated 5 out of 5 byInal from mouse buttons (not keyboard) are very annoyingMouse buttons have a an annoyingly loud "click" when pressed. All other Lenovo and IBM laptops are silent. This model is an excpetion. Imagine if you will typing in an library and having every push of the button sound like someone is breaking a stick in half. Yes it is that loud. I have found no way to turn the noise off. There are settings for the keyboard but not the three buttons between the keyboard and the flat mouse pad. I sent the product back.

Rated 5 out of 5 byAndreaDM from Perfect performanceIt's perfect, amazing, but I thought it was with touch screen for that price, almost every laptop has touch screen for default, and I didn't notice that option was more expensive, I thought the more expensive model was because the processor, not the touch screen.The first laptop I got without touch screen. I can't work without it. I will buy a tablet and when I buy a new one I'll have more attention when I read the specifications. The processor and the speed is amazing, The processors i7 ending on H or HQ are high quality, SSD, and they are the best. It's the third Lenovo I have, and I don't think I'll change to other brand. Check about the touch screen if you need it. the performance is amazing.
